(01:26):

There's prize packages and all the other fun stuff there.
If you pick a perfect bracket, you're gonna win a
million dollars all of that other fun stuff. You know what,
I can't stand. It bothers me, and it's starting to
bother me more and more every single year. Brady Quinn,
Here's what I can't stand. Hey who got snubbed? Hey?

(01:47):
What about the last four out? You see, North Carolina
was like the last four out. You know what I
never hear. I never hear the person who wins the
lottery say God. I just want to say, I see
you know my thoughts to everybody else who participated, No,
because it just won the lottery. We just hit the lottery.
Every single year at the tournament, we got sixty eight

(02:08):
teams in. There's enough to look at. I don't give
a crap about who didn't get in. Let me focus
on the good stuff because the brackets are back and
the rest of you can go sit in the back
of the line and cry about it at n i
T tournament, sick of it. That is the worst comparison
I've ever heard spot on. No. I mean like like
they're not even close. Like it's not like everyone buys

(02:31):
a random assortment of numbers to see who's gonna get
in the NCAA tournament. Like there's equity build up over
the course of the regular season, the conference tournaments that
equate to all of this. There's a there's a committee
that selects that. It's all part of the process. Like
that is in no way, shape or form comparable to
winning the lottery. That is the worst take I think

(02:54):
you've ever had. Tomato, Tomato, Listen, I don't hear any
I don't hear a lot of winners, that's all. I
don't hear a lot of winners say. And you don't
spend much time on that, like thinking about that one, like, hey,
how we're going to reset the final hour? No, listen,
this is all just spitting facts, spitting truths. Here on
a Monday, while everybody else gets overcome with emotion, let's

(03:15):
talk some real basketball. I tried to open up some
conversation the first time we discussed this and really was nowhere. Um,
I will go ahead and venture out to at least
even the seeding, because I do think the seeding plays
a role too. Like look at text Am season. Tem
had a great season. I think they're was second in
the in the SEC for the regular season. They end up,

(03:35):
you know, losing to Alabama and in the SEC championship game,
but they had a great season. To be a seventh
seed like that, that one was a little bit off,
and I think that it now equates to them having
a much more difficult road moving forward. They actually I
believe they play as a Penn State. Here's a ten
seeds Penn State seven ten the minute, which is like,

(03:55):
I mean, Penn State playing in the Big Ten Conference
championship game. I kind of look at that match, so
I'm thinking, like, that mightn't be the best first round
match that we have the entire tournament. It might be
one of the better games we have the entire tournament.
And unfortunately, those two teams who I think could have
won a couple of games, maybe been a sleeper to
make a run. Now have to play one another, and

(04:17):
so to me, seating matters. I think it plays a
large role into the narrative that I kicked off talking about.
You know, is making a final four a big deal?
I personally think it is. But I do think there's
times when you've got a much clearer path for teams
who are able to get to that final four and
winning what four games in order to get there than

(04:38):
others where they've got a couple of cakewalks in their
first round, second round game, they're already in the sweet sixteen,
and that's when the tough star begins and uh, you
know again we're talking about more more mid round seating here.
But look, North Carolina, I don't know that hass as
good of a case. You know, NC State got in.
That was a little bit of controversial one. I think

(04:58):
most people thought between NC State and North Carolina, maybe
North Carolina because they are a blue blood and obviously
or it was in the championship game last year, maybe
they'd get the benefit of the doubt and they would
squeak in. But the ACC in general didn't have a
great season, and so it was a bit I was
a bit curious to see who was going to get
in between NC State and UNC It ended up being

(05:20):
NC State, which probably had a little better resume when
I was all said and done. Rutgers is the only
other one that I think got a little bit snubbed,
like I would have much rather seen them in with
the season they had as opposed to maybe some of
the other seeds that we had talked about kind of
sneaking or finding their way in. I think Providence is
one some people had talked about. I was a little

(05:40):
surprised Duke was only a five, especially the way they finished,
because they've been one of the hotter teams in college
basketball over the past couple of weeks. They win the
ACC Tournament, I would have thought they would have been a,
you know, a four, you know, possibly a little bit higher,
but probably about a four. Then being a five seed,
I was a little bit surprised. I thought they would
be not totally based on the entirety of their season

(06:03):
where they struggled at certain points and weren't ranked, and
it would be more based on them coming into the tournament,
name brand and how things shape up. I was a
little surprised they were a five seed. So yeah, the
Dukeies are back. Also, I know the play in games
don't get a lot of love as far as like
juicy matchups and all that, but there is some bad
blood potentially the one coming up in the West region

(06:26):
the Nevada Arizona State matchup for the eleven seed in
the West and Dayton. Apparently some players have kind of
switched back and forth between both teams and there's clearly
there's issues between current players that are still there and
the guys that decided to leave, and so people have

(06:46):
kind of pinpointed that as being the conclusion of the
play in tournament games. So that could get a little
bit spicy coming up on Wednesday night. So at least
there's something there for people to look after if you
want to have some fun and get ready to see
which eleven seed probably is going to lose in the
first round. And plus it's tournament time, so you get
to see Bobby Hurley. I mean, who does Who doesn't
want to see Bobby Hurley in the tournament again? So
there he is the head coach of Arizona State. Also,

(07:09):
when you watch Zach Eady play for Purdue. Who's going
to be the Player of the Year. He's the odds
on favorite to win it. Who does he remind you
of when you watch him play, when you just look
at him. I don't. I don't want to say, because
I know exactly who you're a kid is somebody I'm
not saying it. I'm not saying it. Why not? I

(07:30):
don't want to You're not. I'm worried about the backlash
of this. What do you mean about this? You say
who you're thinking of, and then I'll tell you if
that was the person I was thinking of? All right,
Yao Ming? Yes, yes, And and I know the whole,
I know the whole. You know he's a Canadian and
Yao Ming, you know, isn't I get all that? Like
there's clear issues with the comp from that standpoint, But

(07:52):
if you just watched his movement and just like, actually,
to God, that's Yao, Ming, I swear to God that
Yaoms he moved, it's he's he's he's a little smaller
obviously than right. I don't you know. The thing I
love about the thing I love about Eadie is it
case you It takes you kind of back to when

(08:14):
Budd big man used to dominate the game of basketball,
and everything was facilitated around the big man. And so
there's an element of that too the style which Purdue plays.
But now because of how the game's so spread out,
it almost affords you to basically have a center and
then like four shooting guards and just have guys who
would line on the perimeter and if you want to

(08:34):
double dye, he'll find the open man. There's an open
three somewhere, and and look, someone's gonna shoot well enough,
right if you've got enough shooters on your team and
you've got a guy like Edie or you've got that
sort of side, you've got a rim protector, a guy
who can get you easy buckets if you need it
down on the post. But then you've got the ability
to facilitate out on the perimeter. It's a lethal combination. So, like,

(08:55):
I'm not sure how far Producee is gonna go. I mean,
how far Eadie can take him is largely gonnadict. You know,
they're gonna have an interesting matchup in the second round.
I assume they're gonna win their first round game. But
I like Fau personally. They've had an unbelievable season. I
guess you called up set of versus Memphis. They're in nine,
verse and eight. But that's gonna be an interesting matchup.

(09:15):
It's one of those things too, you talk about and
say that could be one of those teams that you
know ends up getting hot and they kind of surprise you.
If Perdue I was a bad shooting night and they
could figure out a way of double teaming Eady enough
or triple teaming Eady enough to limit his impact. And
who knows where it's gonna go. But that bracket that
produce in and I don't know why the tournament does this,

(09:37):
but think about all and I talk about kind of
like the blue bloods and bigger brands. You've got Perdue,
You've got Duke, You've got Kentucky, all sitting in there,
John Michigan stay like it is. I mean, Markuette. I
wouldn't say necessarily a blue bud. It's a tremendous basketball program,
Shaka Smart, They've had a great year this year. But
all those teams are all sitting there, and you're going

(09:59):
are I like survival the fitness in the East, to
see who's able to get out of it. But for Purdue,
and I know they weren't the number one overall seed
in the tournament. That was obviously Bama. It is a
rough bracket to be in to then make their way
to try to you know, be in in the final four. Yeah,
and uh, I mean loss Zach Dye. There's just there's

(10:19):
a lot of similarities there. You really want to go
back to Well, no, no, I'm just no, I just
because I don't know why we have to be so
uncomfortable about saying that he likes he plays just like him.
It's very similar and he looks like him, like who Yaoming? Yeah,
plays like Yauming, and he looks like him. If you
just watch him, it looks like Yao Ming. You just

(10:41):
got to get over a lot of the you know
the details of all that, but it looks just like
Yao Ming. He's seven four, he's three hundred pounds, so
he's got like, you know, one hundred and fifty pounds
on that wind puppet d Holmgren from Gonzaga last year
who got drafted by the thunder, So there is that
he's a win puppet. Yeah. Yeah, the human Pool Noodle

(11:04):
Chat Homegrinny, Why you have to disgrace him for being
skinned because he cost me a bet. That's why. That's true.
That's true. I like just an egregious egregious like, why
are you fouling Saint Mary's. The game was over, dude,
and I had Gonzaga getting like nine and a half.
They were down nine, the game's over, and even his

(11:26):
own coach Mark Fus yelling at ched home grin and
he and he's just like, oh, I don't know, I
don't I don't know what I was thinking. And then yeah,
Saint Mary's went and hit two pree throws and I
lost the bet. So there's there's all that stuff. But though, no,
they lost, they lost. Yeah, the game was out of hand.
There was no point to foul. It was more a
spread at that point. Yes, yeah, okay, so there's that.

(11:48):
That's my priorities. But yes, the tournament is here, So
it's gonna be a lot of fun as we as
we get you set, and we'll keep we'll keep piping
it up, we'll keep telling you where you can go
Fox Sports Radio dot Com to be a part of
all that stuff in the bracket Hound. It's going to
be a lot of fun there throughout the next several
days and then for the next couple of weeks. Here
as everybody gets fired up because it is March Madness time.

(12:10):
It is Two Pros and a Cup of Joe. Here
on Fox Sports Radio. It's Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with
you. You You can hang out with us as always on
the iHeartRadio. Hey. By the way, later on this hour,
we are going to debut a brand new segment on
this show, a brand new segment on this show, a
daily feature here on Two Pros and a Cup of Joe.
So stick around for that as we go ahead and

(12:31):
just embark into a brand new area of this show's history.
Coming up later on in the hour, as we close
up shop here, but coming up next here on Fox
Sports Radio from the tire rack dot Com studios, somebody
in the NFL has a very unrealistic ask. They are
asking something that is very unrealistic, yet the way it's
being reported, you actually think it might happen. We'll tell

(12:54):
you what that is right here on FSR. Be sure
to catch live editions of Two Pros and a Cup
of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and Jonas Knox
week days at six am. Eastern three am Pacific on
Fox Sports Radio and the iHeart Radio A two Pros
and a Cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio, Brady Quinn
Jonas knocks for the air. Coming up later on this hour,

(13:16):
we are going to debut a brand new feature on
this show, so make sure you stick around for that.
They're doing a lot of post Oscars stuff out here
in Southern California, Brady Quinn, I know you're a big
fan of that. Still, what is off our Oscars stuff?
Like a lot of coverage, you know, the the aftermath
of the Oscars. They're gonna say drugs, Yeah, winners and
well that probably too, you know, like winners and losers.

(13:38):
Everybody's got it. You know, they want to give their
their opinions on who should have won who. It's kind
of like March madness a little bit. Yeah, so say
like like last last four in last first four hours.
This is kind of like the lottery ticket thing you
talk about that. By the way, I turned on I
heard one speech and that was it for me, Like
these people going, wasn't I don't even remember. I just

(13:58):
I like I think it was it was a commercial.
I was watching the Penguins Rangers game or what game
was that? Was it the Penguins Rangers or might have
been I don't know, it might have been the Selection
Show or whatever it was. I turned over to the oscars.
I saw one speech and I said, that'll do it.
I'm not in These people are so full of crap,
Like everything is so over dramatic. You got that guy

(14:20):
who played Elvis who apparently still has the drawl, like
he still thinks he's Elvis. Like, get a life, dude,
he got stuck in the character, can get out of it?
Like what like if the clown still walks around with
a rubber nose on, like, you get out of the character,
you idiot. All right, stop, you're not Elvis. Okay, just
let it go. You're actor's name Austin Butler. Yeah. Is

(14:40):
he from the South? Originally No, he's like from California.
I think, Yeah, well he's not. He's not from the South. Well,
so is Derek carry As I say, is he is
he from what does a Baker's fingers? Yeah? Yeah, maybe
he has an accent because he's from Bakersfield. I believes
from Anaheim, is what I'm saying. By the way, I
feel like Petro's really embellished that that Baker's Field got

(15:02):
like this, this this western town that's got all these
like drawls there. Everybody sounds like they're from Texas, Like,
come on, corns from Bakersfield. Do they sound like that? No,
I feel like Petro. But a lot of performing artists,
like a lot of singers, they can have vaccentse but
you can't tell them they're singing. Hmm, that's true. Although

(15:23):
I will say I am impressed when I hear somebody
who's from elsewhere who tries to do an American impression,
like Christian Bale. Christian Bale is Australian, but you hear
him like, is he Christian Bales sales from Is he
from Wales? Yeah? Really? Yep, we'll clean that up in
the podcast. All right, that's fine from Australia, I don't

(15:47):
know whatever wherever he's from. He's not from here. And
then yeah, because he does it so well, he does
it so well you have no idea, Oh my god,
that's what he sounds like. Because you watch American Psycho,
Christian Bale was always doing a British accent and like
preparing for a role. Really yeah, Like I always thought
like he was an American, but he just like working

(16:09):
on a role or doing like a bit. They'll believe
it or not. That guy who threw the chainsaw down
the stairwell and American psycho. Yeah, that guy not American.
Believe I will remember him as Batman, which is it's
kind of weird that you know he I mean, it
never seemed like he had an accident. I know, like
he's he's a great actor that he did always have
an accent. Yeah, I don't know. It was an awful

(16:33):
beat Man. Can you do that? But he's always on
the voice. Leak you do that again? I'm Batman. Christian
Bale is Batman. Just a couple more times I get
a couple more like Batman's sayings from you. No, I'm good.

(16:55):
Come on, you're making someone's dead. Can you do Daniel
Craig's Southern Accident the Knife Out movie? No, I'm good
on that one too. Come on, give us one more.
You can pick between the two. Hey, can you sing
a Jimmy Buffet lyric as Batman? What you said? That name?

(17:15):
Is that a Jimmy Buffet lyric? What just happened? Come on? Lee?
Jimmy Buffett as Batman? Waitt away again about all right?
By there goes look for I thought you could go

(17:37):
with the pencil fin mustache song. Oh man, all right,
so it is two pros and a cup of joe
here on Fox Sport Trading. By the way, we still
over paying for a razor in this economy. Gross with
dollar Shape clip can get a top shelf shave and
a regular shelf price. Dollar Shape Club is available at
a store near you and the men's razor aisle. That's it.
That's the ad. So I don't know if you saw

(17:59):
this or not, Brady, when but Odell Beckham Junior worked
out for teams and he's already in discussions with multiple teams.
They were really impressed and in fact, there's even a
report out there about what that contract could look like
if Aldell Beckham Junior has his wishes. What were you thinking, well,
like a ten million a year or twelve million a year.

(18:19):
Oh come on, now, man, be realistic. I mean he's
been injury prone, like the last three four seasons. He
didn't play all last year. You gotta be more realistic,
all right. Given another guest here, like just knowing the
information you know about else than that, like what are
you talking about. Well, yeah, I mean just think about
like all the Oh that's right, hold on, hold on,
hold on, hold on, let me, let me gonna get
this all right. He hasn't like caught for over a
thousand yards since what twenty nineteen, Yes, when he's with

(18:42):
the Browns. Yeah, all right, has so it hasn't been
even been healthy for an entire season since then. Correct,
we're going into twenty twenty three. It's like four going
four years. Okay, correct, So it's ten twelve too much
like what we're saying like five seven eight. I do
have the answer. Twenty million dollars a year. Odell Beckham

(19:05):
Junior is looking for twenty million dollars a year. How
bad it? Huh? I mean that's reasonable. The hell, that's reasonable.
According to the reports. Now, people in the media will
be quick to go ahead and try and clear some
of that stuff up. I think I saw it was
Tom Pelasero or somebody like that. It was like, well,
you know, no terms have been discussed, but like a

(19:25):
report like that just comes out of thin air, just
happens to be that he's looking for twenty million dollars.
I've never seen. I've never seen anybody get their water
carried for them more than Odell Beckham Junior, like the
media does for him. It's I don't look. He's a
great player when he's healthy, but has pointed out just

(19:47):
a couple of moments ago, he hasn't been healthy in
four years. It's been four years and he's going to
be thirty one in November. The idea that all of
a sudden we forget all about that and go no, no, no,
But it's Odell Beckham, here you go, here's twenty million
dollars a year. We loved your workout in March, while
everybody else is getting ready to watch the Oscars, Like

(20:08):
I just I don't get it. I don't I don't
know what this is, and I don't know if it's
people just working overtime to get the messaging out there
or if there's legitimate, serious interest. But none of it
made sense. The free agency tour didn't make sense last year,
and the idea that he's going to step back onto
the field after everything that's gone wrong not his fault.

(20:28):
A lot of this is just bad luck. The injury
and the Super Bowl. He was outstanding in the Super Bowl.
He probably was going to win MVP. The way he
was playing in that Super Bowl and he got injured.
It sucks, it's unfortunate, but again, twenty nineteen is the
last time that he's been relatively healthy and performed at
a high level, and it's like people have forgotten the
four years since. I don't understand. So, you know, there's

(20:50):
different resources you can look up to help trying to
figure out a player's market value, and there's some great websites.
Spo Tracks one of them, and they're objecting his market
value is thirteen and a half million, so if he
was going to sign a four year deal, it would
roughly come out to about fifty four million, and that's

(21:14):
what they're projecting. So and then they compare him to
other players like Brennan Cooks, Kenny Galladay that deal didn't
work out well, from Giants, Tyler Lockett, Alan Robinson, who
Alan Robinson I think is now maybe looking the Rams
are looking to move on to place him elsewhere. All
of those players have average annual values, or their average

(21:36):
salary is over that number, and they all signed those
contracts at that the oldest being the age of twenty eight,
youngest twenty seven. So to your point, Odell Beckham has
a lot of things working against him. He's got age,
he's thirty one, he's got injury history, a number of them,
and it's been a long time since he's been productive.

(21:59):
So that's that's the tough thing. You know. Can he
play great for spots, moments, periods of time, yes, Can
he sustain it throughout a seventeen game season, that's the
big question. And look, there might be a team that's
that's out there that's looking at this draft class for
receivers and says, we feel like there's a few top
guys that but no one can bring us what we

(22:20):
need at least the short term, and they might sign
them to a deal that's you know, hey, maybe we
give them twenty six thirty million and guarantees for you know,
for a four year deal, but it's really a two
year deal, if you catch my drift that that's structured
like this. But it look, whatever's being pedaled out there,
when you hold a workout and you invite teams out,

(22:41):
everything's gonna be coming from that player's camp, and that's
probably where that number is coming from, whether it's legitimate
or not. One of the teams who was present there.
I believe that Cleveland Browns had representation there. The interesting
thing about it is, and just kind of always keeping
my eye home things back there in Cleveland, is there's
a lot of people whose reaction was, really, we've already

(23:03):
been through this, like we're gonna come back to this
player again, We're just gonna blame it all on Baker,
that it was the Baker Odell Beckham relationship and that's why.
Or they feel like they have an owner that's willing
to spend maybe too much money to accumulate players. Is
that the thought process, But it seems like there's some
frustration from teams that have maybe already been around the

(23:26):
block with them before that aren't looking at having him
back again. By the way, you mentioned the Kenny Galladay
deal with the Giants, So I think his time with
the Giants he ended up making I think anywhere between
thirty some million, right, yeah, it was thirty six million,
and I think he's got another four and a half
million in guaranteed money that's coming to him no matter why.

(23:47):
So you look at it, it's about you know, forty
and a half million dollars that Kenny Galladay earned with
the new York Giants. Do you know how many catches
he had as a Giant? Is it below thirty? I'll
tell you what I'll do, Game show Music. Please again,
tis the season for Game show Music, and we want
to point out obviously your Italian heritage, Brady Quinn. That's

(24:10):
what we like to do here on the show. All right,
So this is not going to be an anything. You know,
we're not going to try and take it again. I
don't know why we had to go this route, but
it is Saint Patty's season, so I guess this will work.
So here we go, Game Show Music. You get three
guesses catches for Kenny Galladay as a New York Giant,
in which he earned a little over forty million dollars

(24:31):
in two years. Okay? Do you have to guess an
exact number? Yes? Goes all right? Can I well, could
my first guests be like an over a certain number? Sure? Okay?
Is it over thirty? Yeah? Of course he was there
two years. Come on, man, he didn't play much this
pass you say, I'm trying to steer you in a

(24:52):
different direction, all right, Yeah, but of course it's over there,
all right, So I'm I'm pretty far off on forty six.
If you're just over oh but how just over life

(25:14):
like he cut close, You're close, very close, odd or
even odd for D three. That is correct, Brady Quinn,
that is correct. You have just won the debut edition
of How many catches did Kenny Galladay have as a

(25:37):
New York Giant while earning forty and a half million
dollars in two season? Jess, that is correct, forty and
a half million dollars for forty three catches. I personally
like the fact that he caught one touchdown pastoring his
time there. At least at least he earned his money. Yes,
that's that's to me, is what I love about it.

(25:58):
His one touchdown catch for forty million. That's efficiency ency,
you know what, I'm not even upset about it. That's fine.
And here here's the other. When he was in Detroit,
he was really good, Like there were times like he
was a really good receiver. I don't know what the
hell happened with the Giants that just they never got
off the ground. And it wasn't just a you know,

(26:20):
a situation where you know, Kenny Gallday just maybe didn't
get along with you know, day balls and all that stuff. No, No,
there was issues even before that when he signed the
contract in twenty twenty one. And remember he held out,
like he kept holding out and kept holding out and yeah,
and it was like a four year, seventy two million
dollar deal or whatever it was. But he ended up,

(26:40):
you know, making a little over forty million dollars for
forty three grabs in one touchdown. Kenny goes, oh, look,
that's I mean, come on, that's probably the only contract
that the Giants have delved out that they're going to regret, right,
I mean, there's not another contract they're going to regret. No,
not the Giants. Please, come on, you know better than that. No,
they're not going to regret that at all. The damn
New York Giants given the Jets a run for their money.

(27:03):
It is two pros and a cup of Joe. Here
on Fox Sports Radio, Brady Coin Jonas Knox with the
Here we are going to have the debut of a
brand new feature on this show coming up here surely,
but for all the latest from around the world of sports.
This is a man who I would give one million
dollars for every update. And it's Eddie Garcia. Well, I
mean I'm willing to accept that you're gonna take that

(27:24):
kind of pay cut, Eddie. Yeah, go for it, Eddie.
I'm yes, I would. I would, And instead you gave
me a letter from Andy Furman that was I was
not nice. I thought, I don't understand. I thought he
got the message not to do that anymore. He has
he has a sickness, and he can't stop. I can't
s letter again. He has sent me letters over many years.

(27:47):
Is it a kind of nice though, to open up
a piece of mail that's you know, it's not actually
because it's just random newspaper clip things about some hockey
story that I already know about. That's worthless. He insists
on mailing it to me, and I'm I've asked him
to suit. He's like, he's like a grandfather's right. Well, yeah,
that's true. He is kind of like grandpa. But it's

(28:07):
I've asked him to stop because of harassment. Do we
maybe have like a lawsuit? It's a little it's a
little much, it's but but he I'm trying to be,
you know, having an open heart about it because he
has an illness. It's it's the most odd illness I've
ever heard of. But nowadays. Well, it was he has

(28:28):
his own meter that he runs it through, because that's
it's It was sixty cents for him to send me that.
And that's not including the cost of the envelope and
the amount of money he spends sending random crap to people.
It's really, it's really all this. This is a true story.
Andy got in trouble. He worked at the local Cincinnati
radio station years ago, and he got in trouble because

(28:49):
in the mail room, I swear to God on this,
I believe they were running out of supplies and they
couldn't figure out why. And so the program director at
the station stormed into Andy's office and just opened his
desk drawer and found books of stamps and envelopes and
he had been hoarding so that he could send him
on his own. And they were pissed. They're like, this

(29:11):
isn't just for you. Everybody in the building has to
send stuff. And Andy just was like all shook about it.
It's the most bizarre, strange man. He's got a male fetish.
He does so weird. Who doesn't though, right, Oh God,
I love him, but he's got to know us, all right.
College basketball field of sixty eight has set for the
INCAA Men's basketball Tournament. Your top seed in the South

(29:34):
and the number one overall seat is Alabama. In the Midwest,
it's Houston. In the East, Purdue, and in the West
it's Kansas. Now that the Jayhawks are expecting to have
their head coach Bill Self for the tournament, he did
to check himself out of a hospital recently after a
what was deemed a minor heart procedure. But I don't
know any procedure to your heart is minor, but that's
what they're saying, So it looks like he'll be ready
to go for the tournament. Some other programs of note,

(29:56):
and the East is loaded with big names. Dukes a
fifth seed, Kentucky as six seed, Michigan State is seventh seed.
All in the East region. North Carolina, the preseason eight
p number one and the runner up in last year's
national title game, did not make the tournament and they
turned down an invite into the n i T NBA games.
And note we had the Nets beating the Nuggets one
twenty two to one twenty that's three losses in a

(30:16):
row from Denver, despite another big game from their starting
Nakole Yoku who had thirty five points and twenty rebounds.
Nick's over the Lakers in LA one twelve one Away
Cavaliers beat the Hornets one fourteen to one oh eight.
In the NFL, the other Rams were portably a greedy
trade corner at Jalen Ramsey to the Miami Dolphins for
a twenty twenty three third round pick and tight end
Hunter Long. Washington Commanders and evinsive tackle durn Payne agree
on a four year, ninety million dollars deal sixty million guarantee.

(30:39):
He's now the second highest paid defensive tackle on the NFL,
pine only Aaron Donald. And New York Jets signed linebacker
Quincy Williams three years, eighteen million dollars, nine million guaranteed.
Baseball Mexico beats the USA eleven to five in the
World Baseball Classic. Both teams and now one and one
in pool play. NHL Red Wings beat the Bruins five three,
It was the Penguins getting by the Rangers three two
and overtime Devil shut off the Hurricanes three nothing, and

(31:00):
the Golden Knight's beat the Blues five to three. Now Maca,
Brady Quinn and Jonas Knox and the tirect dot Com,
Box Sports Radio Studios. Thanks Eddy, Two Pros and a
Cup of Joe here on Fox Sports Radio and right
now it is time for the Progressive play of the day.
It took a while. It's hard to be the time
three times Houston couldn't do it. The Tigers, for the

(31:22):
first time in history, beat a number one that win
the American Championships. Man, look at this CAFETI coming down,
David oh Man. I'm so happy for this team and
for Penny Hardawood. What a big win. First American Athletic
Conference Tournament championship. That is Learfield on the call. That
is your Progressive play of the day. Progressive is making

(31:43):
things even easier. That will help you bundle your home
and car insurance together. You can save on both. Learn

(33:08):
Before we get to the debut of a brand new
feature on this show, want to let you know we

Draftking sports Book app today and use code two pros.
That's the number two pros for a special offer when

sports Book. Two pros and a cup of Hoe? What

(33:32):
you enough? If they're in? Please four if they're out? Yeah,
all right, let's go. So Lee's gonna throw out a
bunch of random events, sports, non sports, whatever, and we
have to tell them whether or not we're in or
we're out. So we need to start airing people out
here and just be really negative, which is fun. All right,

(33:54):
So Lee, what do we got? All right, let's start
off with this one. We got USA VERSUS Canada at
the World Baseball Classic. It's at Chase Field in Arizona.
It's on FS one. Where do you guys thinking? Are
you in? Are you out? I'm in and I'm gonna
be sure less we're an American flag? Yeah wow, Yeah,
I'm in and listen after what happened, yeah, what happened

(34:17):
between Mexico and the US. They need to bounce back performance,
although let's hope they can do better than China just did.
They lost twenty two to two to Korea. But yeah,
I'm in as well. Yeah, this would be fun. Yeah,
they had a mercy rule on this. Can you believe
that twenty two to two at the World Baseball Classic Plus,
I mean, Fox does just a phenomenal job in putting

(34:38):
on this World Baseball Classics. Yeah, that's interesting to hear
you change your tune what you're saying last week? I
was taking out of context. What else, Lee, Guys out
here in southern California, we got WTA Indian Wells. That's
Women's Tennis Association out here in Indian Wells out in
your Palm Springs. I actually was about to go to
Palm Springs this weekend and decided not to go because

(34:59):
of all the traffic from this event. Are you in?
Are you out? You know what I'm in. I've never
been to Palm Springs. I get to watch some tennis,
I get to visit Palm Springs. Um, yeah, I'm in.
I'm kind of curious, toe what it's what do you like? Yeah,
I'm out. I'm not even interested at all at all
at any point in watching any of this. I'm sorry

(35:21):
listen that some people are going to take offense to
this I got better things to do, like watch trash
truck videos on YouTube with my son than watch some
stupid tennis tournament in the middle of a day on
a Monday. Get out of here. What else? Lee Fellas
sunny D has announced they will be coming out with
a new sunny D Vukas Seltzer, which will be coming
out in a four packet. Features the signature tangy orange

(35:43):
flavor of the nostalgic drink mixed with Vaca Seltzer. You
can make it with. Stop I tired of the Seltzers.
I'm tired of the seltzers, and I stop making everything
a Seltzer. Man, my god, We're gonna start all of
a sudden. I mean, I guess they do have eppervescence
in like energy drinks, like free workout, don't they. They're

(36:05):
gonna have slurpy seltzers. They're gonna everything's gonna be a
selter now bearing a shout out tequila. Yeah. Come on,
we start like literally recruiting little kids with Seltzers, Capri
sun Selzers. You just imagine it right now, Ecto Cooler,
Ecto Cooler Seltzers. Your kids are gonna be walking around
with their pinkies out in school. It's just an embarrassment.
And by the way, Sunny Delight never been a fan.

(36:27):
There's something about it's too acidic. There's something about it
that just that just bothers me. I don't know what
it is. Yeah, something much sugar for you. Yeah, it's
like tampico. You ever had tampico? You like tampico better?
It might be I think tampico is better. Yeah, So
all right, Lee? What else? Well? From seltzers to cauliflower,
Chick fil A is testing its first ever plant forward

(36:49):
plant based forward entree, the Chick fil A Cauliflower Sandwich
starting uh starting this month, will be tested in certain
It'll be tested in Denver, Charleston, Self Arolina, North Carolina,
lay right, all the places that are really clamoring for
chicken substitutes, playing what a cauliflower baste? I'm sure South

(37:14):
Carolina is really pushing hard for this. I'm out, but
I'll say, have you ever had buffalo cauliflower? It's delicious,
it's fantastic, But this, I'm out. If I'm going to chickflay,
I'm give me. I'm gonna get a chicken sandwich. Isn't
that your niche Like, isn't that what you're known, that's
your thing? Why would you venture into this other stuff? Right,
I don't understand it. It's like Domino selling hot dogs,

(37:37):
like come on bad at a certain point, do what
you do, Yeah, do what you do, do it well,
and figure out new ways of innovating. But this is
also along the lines of like the cauliflower, as you said,
buffalo cauliflower delicious. All right, I've actually had the cauliflower
like pizza or the like, Yeah, that's not that bad. Yeah,

(37:58):
it's not as bad as I thought I was gonna
be at least, And I think there's like cauliflowers there
pasta too that they'll make out. Probably they use it
because your table like the consistency of it, Like you
can do a lot with cauliflower. So like even on
like the boneless wings, like they like the consistency feels
a little bit like a boneless wing. So a lot
of a lot of vegans, a lot of tree huggers

(38:18):
out there before prefer to go to cauliflower out but
then they absolutely light it up after all that fiber
just running through their body like a blowtorch to anyone
they're around. Is that what happens? Are you serious? Like broccoli, cauliflower,
any of that? Put that all together, see how you feel.
The next thing that was familiar with that when I

(38:39):
was taking off from your seat the Academy Awards have
come and gone. I was in. You guys were out,
But there was another movie that came out this weekend.
Scream six film continues with the survivors of the latest
ghost Space killings. Are you guys in or out? It's
seventy five percent and roun Tomato. I know how much
you care about that, Brady. So that's that's out doors out. Yeah,

(39:00):
but um they are doing I think I was out
after two? It Screamed, the same one which when Jennifer
love Hewett was like in the scene with the rain
and the really low cutting number, it was like, what
are you waiting for? What stood out from that scene
for you? Um? Wait, what movie was that? I know
what you did last summer? Oh dang it? Well, yeah,

(39:21):
I don't even really remember the first thing. That one. No,
that is the Scream series. Yeah she was. She was
in the first Scream, right, Yeah, she's in a couple
of them. She's in this one. Is she really yeah.
Oh god, how old is Cortney Cox? Now she looks
very different, I'll say that. Oh come on, Burno, that's
not nice to answer the question. I'm out, Yeah, I'm out.

(39:46):
What else we got? You guys want some Let's see
Super Mario World. Super Mario World out here in Universal Studios,
out in what a video game park. It's a new
kind of part of the amusement park. And they're also
it's also out there in Florida. I'm out. You want
to know why I'm out? Because I'm above the age
of thirteen. That's why I get out of here. That's

(40:09):
why I'd be out. On that I'm not interested. Fox
