tire buying should be Good morning everybody? How would be
on good morning? My neighbors fired up? Just just a
solid Wednesday through and through. It's actually a big day
to day, huge years day. So people are actually getting
(01:30):
paid today, like they're legitimately getting paid today. Yeah, that's true.
And then also some people are making big announcements today
possibly you know, I mean we've Yeah, that's that's the word.
Apparently one pm Eastern Time on the Pat McAfee Show
starring AJ Hawk, Aaron Rodgers is going to be a guest,
(01:51):
and the assumption is maybe he'll let everybody know as
to what his plans are going to be. And I
know it's a huge mystery, especially based on some of
the movement yesterday and credit where credit is due. Brady
Quinn who said, don't be surprised after the Braxton Barrios
released if maybe Randall Cobb somehow enters into the mixed
and according into Diana Rassini, Alan Lazar To gets a
(02:15):
four year deal Randall Randall Cobb also part of the conversation.
Mercedes Lewis, Odell Beckham Junior's name has been thrown in.
This is all them, the Jets, that being them play
caning to Aaron Rodgers, who is basically calling shots about
who he wants to play with there. So that's how
this stuff is working out there on Aaron Rodgers Watch
and the New York Jets. The reality is, for anyone
(02:37):
who's looking at what's I guess now unfolding in the
public eyes, he did this with Green Bay. Why is
anyone's surprised by him having a wish list or him
wanting to work at the front office for the New
York Jets in free agency. That was one of the
scuttle butts he had with the Green Bay Packers front office.
And if you're recall, you know back over the last
(02:59):
few years he was given more of an opportunity to
kind of work at the front office, to talk about
guys that he wanted back on the team, Randall Cobb
being one of them who they brought back from Houston
to bring on the roster, and now appears that he
wants them again to go to the New York Jets
with them. And look, the truth is, as much as
some people may feel like that might be too much
(03:21):
power for a player, there is something something to be
said for when you're transitioning to a new team in
a new environment, you want to have some familiarity. If
you have two guys out there and Randall Cobb as
well as Alan Blizzard, who know the system, they know
you know them, you know the way they come in
out of their breaks, the type of player that they
are when things break down, you can look to them.
(03:44):
That's a huge weight off of Aaron rodgers shoulders, and
they can allow a guy like Gary Wilson to come
along and be that number one wide receiver that he
was for them last year. So it makes a lot
of sense. He's already was already doing this, And I
think if you're the Jets and you're gonna go all
on Aaron Rodgers, of course you're gonna, you know, listen
(04:04):
to him and try to bring in guys that he
wants to play with you know, you're you're not only
you know, giving up something to get him, you're absorbing
a big contract and you're trying to go with a
super Bowl and so him being happy there and him
playing like an MVP is the best way to do that.
So none of this is surprising necessarily. UM I kind
of heard word a little bit yesterday to like today's
(04:26):
one pm Easter An announcement sounds like it's it's gonna
be a lot of fun. He's gonna have a lot
to say. Um I would I would encourage people to
tune in because it sounds like there's there's gonna be
a number of things he's gonna be talking about. I
don't know how much will be in response to Mark
Purphy's comments, but there there's just get your popcorn ready.
(04:48):
I'll leave with that. No, Wow, I don't know. I mean,
there's not really much for me to add to that.
I mean, just just from my perspective, it's you said,
too much power for for a quarterback to have. I mean,
that's just he's for what it's worth. I mean, you
could say that he's aren't the right to be able
(05:09):
to call his shots. I mean, tom Brady did it
again and when he went to Tampa Bay and it
worked out. I think that that that whole tom Brady
effect now created a standard. I'll say that, which I
think that standard is when you do when you do
(05:29):
those things, when you come in and you're saying, these
are the pieces I need, these are the people that
I want, This is what needs to happen for me
to feel comfortable coming to your team. I definitely think
when it becomes public knowledge, it turns into an expectation
of what is to be um seen and what the
(05:51):
accomplishment level is supposed to be. And and I would
assume that that's now, that's a that's not a give
it a year, give it a couple of years, and
let's see how everything meshes out, meshes and comes together.
I think it's it's a you have to win now
type of scenario. And and granted, I mean he's you know,
(06:12):
he's contemplating retirement every offseason these days anyway, So I
guess it's a year by year deal for Aaron Rodgers
as well. Um, but it does set the stakes for
boom or bust and and if he can go into
to New York and take a franchise that has not
(06:36):
been significant for a very long amount of time and
and now turn them into a competitive team, a team
that's that's you know, surging towards winning their their you
know conference and then ultimately possibly winning their division, which
I mean, is that is that possible? You know? Is
it possible to think that he can win the A,
(06:58):
the AFC and make to the Super Bowl? Um with
with you know, the boogeyman out there. I I say this,
at the bare minimum, at the least of it, it's
definitely going to be musty TV. Like I've not watched
the Jets. I'm not been somebody who's like early on
in the year, I watched them a little bit, you know,
but more more or less, I wasn't, you know, checking
(07:21):
for the Jets on Sundays. I certainly if they get
Aaron Rodgers and all of these things that have been requested,
I certainly will be paying close attention to how they perform,
what they look like, the relationship between him and and
uh Robert sala coach coach sala Um, and and how
the media treats them. Will will they embrace him like
(07:44):
they did Zach Wilson as Q soos put so well
so often? Or will he become you know, a pariah?
Will will he become a problem someone that they you know,
they don't care for, because if he turns into that,
then that's going to be even interesting as well, because
you know, I mean, it's a common thing, but it'll
(08:07):
be something that that will become very very I would
assume for Aaron Rodgers that will become very very problematic
for someone who seems to be to me pretty sensitive
at times about how how he's portrayed or how people
view him. You know, my favorite part of the Aaron
Rodgers situation is just the way it's covered. It's so
(08:27):
funny because people can't still there's a baseline of they
don't like Aaron Rodgers and you can pinpoint him in
the media. The way everything is covered, the way it's discussed, well,
you know, well, who does he think he is? He
could just call his shots, he could just all right,
let's say, well he's not ta he's trying to pull
a Tom Brady, so what? And Tom Brady tried to
(08:48):
pull a Peyton Manning when Peyton Manning wanted to call
shots when he went to Denver. Like this has happened
many times before, and the idea that all the pushback
he gets everything. I can promise you whatever. He drops
on The Pat mcavie Show again starring aj Hawk later
on Today. There's gonna be somebody who's got a problem
with it. There's gonna be somebody who's got a problem
with his introductory press conference. There's going to be somebody
(09:09):
who's got a problem. There's a baseline of dislike for
Aaron Rodgers, and it's hilarious to see how triggered people
get just by simple things that he's done that we've
seen other great quarterbacks do to Brady's point for years
and years and years, but for some reason, when it's tim,
everybody's got a problem with it. I think it's hilarious. Yeah,
I mean, and I think it's gonna be hilarious how
(09:30):
the New York media market handles into right that that's
a completely different fan base right where I think Green
Bay was much more like looking at him with open
arms because of the way things shook out with Brett
Farve and he was the guy that drafted to replace him,
and even though it's a high standard, was different. You know,
New York's a tough place. He's got no equity build
(09:53):
up there, and there's probably some people who see things
different than and he sees in the world, and it's
it could be interesting. Even though I look, if they
were willing to welcome Zach Wilson with open arms and
have rose colored glasses on for everything he did, I
think Aaron Rodgers will be just fine because I think
he'll be able to win everyone over. I mean, honestly,
he's gonna be the next closest thing to Joe Namath,
(10:15):
and he's gonna be better than Joe Namath. I mean,
if you're a Jets fan, you're gonna be rejoicing today
after one pm Eastern. You really will be, because you
have a legitimate shot. You're a legitimate contender now, and
it's not kind of like a flash in the pan,
you know, for the rest of his career, if that's
if that's what this is going to be, he's gonna
have a shot and winning a Super Bowl for you,
(10:36):
or at least winning a division, making the playoffs and
looking a lot different than what we saw in the
past decade or so of the New York Jets. Gonna
be so much fun. Plus soon I mean, you know,
maybe Randall Cobb, you know, will come back all of
a sudden, all the ways you can. You can bet
on Cobb, you know, figuring things out. So so the
interesting thing about the Blizard sign, it's a four year
(10:56):
deal eleven million, I think is what's been reported. So
we'll see the devil's in the details. But I would
look at Randall Cobbs deal as an indication of how
long Roger is going to be there. I really do
think he's trying to bring in guys that And you know, LeVar,
I don't know how you felt the locker room, but
(11:16):
I remember, I mean, only being eight years in and
looking at rookies and how they operated, how they handled themselves,
their faces were burying their cell phones and being like, man,
this is not the locker room that like I was
drafted into. It was entirely different. You know, guys talk
to one another. Guys were always you know, bs and
are gambling or something else. There was always something going on.
(11:37):
And I remember being with the Miami Dolphins and training
camp look around going dude, I can't relate to these guys.
And that was when I was like thirty, I mean,
and it's not that big of a gap. Now, Now
imagine a guy who's almost forty and looking back at
a lot of these young guys, and I think it
it's hard. I mean, I remember talking when I was
with the Jets to their their equipment guys and they're like, yeah,
(11:59):
we had a special room back here for Brett because
you know, at that age, you know, he couldn't really
relate to guys, so he would come hang out with us.
You know, he had kids. We talk about our kids,
we talk about all these different things going on. And
I think people underestimate sometimes, you know, when you're in
that profession, how much of a grind it is to
be in that facility all day long, everything you're doing,
and how it's kind of lonely when you when you
(12:21):
were in that position as a quarterback where you're watching
the film before anyone gets in. You're watching the film
before you know, after everyone leaves, and you don't have
any other people to relate to. Well, it's gonna be
a lot more help. If he's got Lazard, if he's
got Randall Cobb and maybe a few other guys that
he either knows or is friendly with, that would make
some sense there that could always take the other side too,
(12:42):
though it could it could always be maybe possibly a disruption.
You know, Oh, he's brought in his own guys like, well,
what is that? How or how am I supposed to
feel about that? You know? Or him being on that
Jets really cares lay from social media. I mean brees
Hall and sofs Garter, those guys are already celebrating like
it's a done deal. How does Zach doesn't feel about it?
(13:03):
Is Zach Wilson, we haven't heard but you and again
to that point, Look, they just need to move on.
Cut Ties, get what you can for him. I mean,
stop with the whole way he's going to develop. Guys,
he's going to develop. We're really trying to develop him.
How if everything goes the way you hope Rodgers is
playing at least the next two three years, where does
(13:24):
that leave Zach Wilson. Stop playing this game where you're
hurting his career. Now he's not being behind Aaron Rodgers
is great, but he should want to go somewhere else
to get a fresh start. He should want to go
somewhere where he can go play and play for another
organization that after he plays, they go Okay, like, let's
decide if we want to pick up his fifth year
option because after this season they have to make that decision.
(13:47):
It's it's to me, it makes no sense for him
to stay on this roster. If indeed they get Aaron Rodgers,
go find another backup to come in and help out
and help out Aaron. But outside of that, like, let
Zach Wilson go get what you can. Admit it was
a mistake, it didn't work out, and move on. I
have no idea where they keep hanging on to him. Yeah,
(14:08):
can't let it go. You know. I admire their commitment
to wanting to prove everybody wrong, but unfortunately this feels
like it's not going to go in the direction of
their hope. And it's going to go too. So we
won't wait and see. One pm Eastern Time, The Pat
McAfee Show starring AJ Hawk is where we're gonna get
all the answers and maybe Aaron Rodgers pulls out a
shift and starts taking taking digs at people in and
(14:30):
around the media. That'll be fun to watch. It is

all yours as we take you all the way up
until nine am Eastern times six o'clock. Was butt coming

that could be a sign where one organization is headed.
We'll get into that for you right here on Fox
(15:12):
Sports Radio. Be sure to catch live editions of Two
Pros and a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LaVar
Arrington and Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three

Two Pros and a Cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you. You can
(15:34):
listen to us as always on the iHeartRadio app. Coming
up a little over twenty minutes from now. It only
lasted a short time, only a short time, and it
was very controversial, very controversial. Yeah, we will get to
that here. Coming up a little over twenty minutes from now,
(15:54):
another edition of In case you missed it. Before we
get to this move that was made in the NFL yesterday,
I want to let you know we are brought to
you by Dollar Shave Club. Still over paying for a
razor in this economy gross. With Dollars Shave Club, you
can get a top shelf shave and a regular show prize.
Dollar Shave Club is available to store. Are you and
the men's razor Aisle? That's it? That's the ad. So
didn't Darren Wallers signed some sort of rework deal last
(16:17):
year when Josh McDaniels got to Las Vegas. I'm almost
positive he did. And then Derek Carter did the same thing.
Yeah yeah, And then I'm noticing a trend here because
Darren Waller was also traded. He's also gone. So the
Raiders have traded Darren Waller to the Giants. They get
a third round pick in return. Now, Darren Waller has
(16:37):
been banged up the past couple of years, So it
wasn't as effective as I think a lot of people
thought when you matched him with Tabante Adams and Hunter
renfro and Josh Jacobs had a monster year and all
those other guys that were involved, and so he had
Foster Moreau who stepped in and had a good year.
Mac Hollins was good for the Raiders last year. Well Mac,
and then Darren Waller is now going to be I'm
(17:00):
assuming is he the number one option for Daniel Jones now?
Is that how this is looking? Well? Nonetheless, third round,
so you think they'd add on to their wide receiving corps.
So hopefully that's not the case. But it's an odd deal.
I think a lot of people looked at it when
they signed the extension in September said, wait a second,
you just signed this guy to an extension. Now you're
trading him after a year. It's easier to trade a
(17:23):
guy if he's under contract, right, like another team can
absorb that contract. They know what they're dealing with, and
they know they've got him now for the foreseeable future,
at least until the term of the contracts over. So
that's not the odd part. The odd part is when
Victafer reports that part of the disgruntlement between Waller and
(17:43):
the Raiders may have been because apparently Josh McDaniels, while
at the Combine, leaked some news about Waller getting married, Yeah,
and that upset Darren Waller, and then all of a sudden,
a few weeks later, he's gone, like, is that really why?
I just that's the reasoning behind it. What would cause
some friction in the relationship. I don't know. That's that's
(18:06):
kind of hard to buy. But the Raiders will be
just fine. I mean, they've got three receivers who all
really fit the different roles that Josh McDaniels will want
him to play with in his offense. But that's fine.
I don't know. I don't know if Jess fine is
what I would use for the Raiders. That I meant
Adams Hunter, Renflow at slot and now Jacoby Myers, who
(18:28):
does the system as kind of more there. No, I
mean he kind of reminds me more Jabbar Gaffney, like
when I was with Josh in Denver with Brandon Lloyd
playing X Jabbar Gaffney playing that kind of move flanker.
And then you've got Eddie Royal is a slot like.
That's how those guys got to fit out those positions
that the operative word there is gotta they gotta fit
(18:52):
for certain because they didn't look good at all this year,
and I don't It's just hard. It's hard to think
that you can go from what they were this year
to being overly competitive in the next and sure, it
does happen. It has happened. I'm not saying it can't happen.
(19:13):
It's just I don't know. I just I don't know. Well,
if I'm being honest, I'm trying not to. I'm trying
to be like correct here, but I just don't trust
the coaching. I don't. I don't trust the head coaches.
I don't know that he has the ability to be
that guy at the head spot Levard's Saint Patty's week.
You don't trust McDaniels. Wasn't that bad. They were a
(19:36):
top twelve, top of eleven, I mean passing at least
in the first year. And by the way, Jacoby Myers
did win a game for the Raiders last year and
he wasn't com the team. Yeah, I was just saying
he might be QB two underselling and his versatility The
problem is is you know, it's challenge Jones gonna be
the right Jacoby Meyers to Chandler Jones is the new
uh Aikman to Irvan or Montana to match. If they
(19:59):
put in a goal, play they have to write because
you gotta break the tension. You know, it was really
bad for Jacobe Myers. You have to do it. Are
they playing the Raiders? Are the Patriots this upcoming year?
If they played a Patriots, McDaniels has to put in
a play. By the way, what's McDaniels record versus the Patriots.
I know he beat him his first year when he
was in Denver. He got fired before we played him
(20:20):
the second year, and then they beat him last year.
Is he two and oh? Let me affort that effort.
I think that's I think that's his record versus Bill Belichick.
He's two and oh. I believe I'm not mistaken. They've
only played a couple of times, but it ain't as
hard to get wins against Bill Belichick these days. I
guess I'm in a hatera definitely, you're cranky, tired and cranky.
(20:42):
I'm really not well, I'm kind of tired, but you know,
I'm party pretty hard this weekend. But I don't I'm not.
I don't feel tired tired. I feel good today. But
I just you know, I just want I look at
our first two topics, and they're both controversial topics in
terms of success the Jets, that's that's a controversial topic
(21:03):
to talk about them having success, even if you were
to bring in Aaron Rodgers. So, LaVar, I do have
talking about the Raiders. It's it's hard to say that
they're going to have success. Now I do have something
for you, So this is right in your wheelhouse. All right.
But wait, Tom Brady was a part of one of
those New England Patriots teams. Oh was he blessed? Yeah?
And when they were in Denver, that's what they played.
(21:25):
That's right, long time ago. Lost that AFC Champions put
him twice, but he's two and out right by the way,
I think I had money on New England in that game.
There's a shock. All right. So here's here's the update.
Robert Griffin, the third LaVar. Obviously somebody you're very trying
to come out, try and come out of retirement. Huh yeah,
so he as Brady alluded to. Uh, he said on
(21:47):
Twitter Darren Waller just got married to Kelsey Plumb of
the Las Vegas Aces, and Josh McDaniel's wedding present was
to trade him to the New York Giants. McDaniels is
not a romantic. Now. I don't know if that's the
beginning pay age of his autobiography that he's coming out with.
I'm assuming it wasn't last August, maybe to be this August.
But Kelsey Plum did right back, probably because he wasn't
(22:08):
invited to the wedding. So maybe there is something too.
Whose bottle? Because it's Robert Griffin the third and you
just celebrated your wedding anniversary and good point, and you
were in Las Vegas. It all ties together, all ties together.
Wheelhouse that considered my wheelhouse. Hell yeah, just kind of coincidental. Maybe,
(22:33):
come on, of course it is. You were just in Vegas.
There wasn't a buzz about Vegas. There wasn't a buzz
about you know, the Raiders this upcoming season in Vegas
when you were out there. Come on, you know, I
was around volleyball people, so we were just talking volleyball,
you know, and forth. Yeah, spanking balls, you know, spiking
(22:57):
them spiking, you know, digging them, you know, yeah, spike
spiking the right away. I mean, at the very least
this helps stay in the appropriate jokes Mann was in
that tournament. No, absolutely not. We could do it with
a lot of other people, a lot of other things,
but let us keep that off. But at the very least,
this is a good sign for Daniel Jones. If Darren
(23:20):
Waller can stay healthy, feel like they've they've added another
piece there. Say Quan comes back and maybe now you
feel a little bit better about Daniel Jones. But they
probably do need to make another move at wide receiver
unless they want to convince Kenny Galladay to come back
on a more affordable contract, because he made about a
million dollars to catch his time with the Giants. So
(23:40):
there are options there for the New York Giants. Just say,
I'm trying to be optimistic here. I'm trying to find
hope for Giants fans out there who have lost all
the headlines to the Jets. Giants are going in the
right direction, I mean, are they? I think so? I
don't think so. Now. They had a great first season
and I think this year is going to be really
(24:01):
interesting to see if they can follow that up. They
obviously know their roster needs talent, and they're keeping Sake on.
That helps. Adam Waller helps. They need a few more guys.
But I think it all falls off Daniel Jones. And
I'll be really curious to see if they don't wish
they would have went with that fifth year option, which
Joe Shane's already admitted, but maybe just even going the
(24:22):
non exclusive franchise tag. You know, I think when you
look at what's happening right now, if Lamar Jackson, if
Lamar Jackson is not getting an offer sheet from other teams,
and so he may play this season for thirty two million,
and we'll get into that whole conversation. What do you
think Daniel Jones was gonna get? Surely not what he's
being paid right now, needed two million of the first
(24:43):
the next two years. I mean, no one was going
to offer him that. So if you're looking at, you know,
as far as the value of what you just paid
a guy who I guess you could make the case
he earned it this year, I think some people are
still curious to see what that means. I just I
think this is a big year for them to determine
really what direction they're headed. All right, let me ask
you guys this, since since you guys are seemingly skeptical
(25:06):
of the Giants, who has the better year, the Jets
or the Giants Jets? If Rogers is there, Rogers goes Jets.
What do I mean if Rogers goes, it's done, it's done.
Oh yeah, man, it's pretty much trade. He's got intel.
Come on, man, tree Wingo said this on Monday, right,
did put it out there? Can't put it out there
(25:27):
one day he did. Trade has been all over this.
That is a good point. Yeah, you said that like
it was just a foregone like it's a matter of fact, Jonas,
like you guys really are just it's a matter of
fact that the Jets will be a better thing. It's
very similar to my confidence when the Bears had the
number one pick and traded it. It's very similar to
(25:48):
the confidence in Rogers. I'm making an announcement today about that,
and I honestly think it probably will get leaked before
I think you'll probably here, Diana Rassinium leak it around
like eleven or something or twelve, and then at one
o'clock he'll he'll go in for the interview with the
news in the inner circle. Who's in the inner circle?
Can we Well, she's in the inner circle and very
(26:09):
dot on the New York Jets organization. So okay, Yeah,
So I mean, I look, I makes sense now, I
get it. I get it now. So that's what we got.
Get it now. Yep, that's what we got. All saying
I get it now twice meant that you wanted to
say something in between the second. Now in the first,
I'm not going now, but I'm not going to I'm
(26:32):
not well not, I will not say anything. I will
say this though, the Giants aren't making the playoffs and
the Jets. So there you go. There's your state of
football when it comes to the New Jerseys Daniels the
first coach fire next year. Really, you think the Daniel's
getting clipper? Yeah? Come on, I don't think you have
no faith in Jimmy, but I think he's once. It's
(26:55):
not a matter of when he gets hurt of uh
not if he gets hurts. When he gets hurt, wow,
when he gets hurt, then no faith. God, you guys
are so negative today. Negative guys, come on, sad. I
like all the move the Raiders have done on defense
because their defense is so good last year they don't
have to improve it at all for free agency. Yeah,
they're fine. Don't worry about it. All I know is
(27:20):
I'm taking the odds that the Giants have a better
year than the Jets, even with Aaron Rodgers's what is
right now? Is there an over under for the win
losses for both the Jets and Giants as of right now?
I don't. I don't because here's the thing is, if
you if that line hasn't adjusted for Rogers being there, like,
(27:41):
go grab the over now for the Jets. Can you
imagine it being set at like seven or eight and
then Rogers gets there, it's gonna be like ten nine
and a half ten. I wonder if a lot of
places have taken it off because they're like, we don't
want to get screwed here, So maybe they look at
it and go, well, we'll just we'll try and keep
quiet about this and not offer up any money, because
it does feel like it's a fore gone conclusion. It's
(28:02):
a for trying to look for it. Let me find out.
Let me get you some division odds. You want some
division odds here? Oh, you can get the Jets to
win the AFC East to plus two twenty five hundred
wins super Bowl sixteen hundred. Immunize this. Yeah, I'm talking
about here, to win the AFC there plus two forty,
(28:25):
and you said to win the AFC, is it plus
nine hundred win win the AFC East plus two twenty five? Okay,
so it's already adjusted a bit. I've seen it right
now at plus two forty, and then I've seen to
win the NFC AFC excuse me at plus nine hundred.
I think that drops, doesn't it? If he signs today? Yeah,
announced today has to plus You're gonna get all these
(28:46):
uh these ball washing fanboy Jets fans that are going
to run and make futures bets and it's going to
skew the market a little bit as well too. They
love doing that. I mean, like, really, this is the
best quarterback and far better as you were bringing up,
than Brett farr was and the version Brett Farve was
when he got to New York, Like Aaron Rodgers is
not bad last year, and this is coming off the
heels of back to back MVP seasons. Yeah, I mean,
(29:08):
it's just a different style of football too. I mean,
Rogers has the highest TD interception ratio or I should
say yeah, highest meaning throwing more touchdowns than interceptions in
NFL history. And so when you compare that to Farv,
who you know, was not afraid to throw a few
interceptions to the other team, Like, it's just it's a
completely different style of play and how he goes about,
(29:31):
you know, handling his business. So that was the biggest
thing I think that plagued the Jets a bit last year.
There their inability to throw the football and then when
they did sometimes it ended up in with some turnovers
or they couldn't stay on in the field. Yeah, it's

(32:25):
missed it, and for that we turn it over to
our executive producer lead Lap. Guys, in case you missed
it the lap. Hey there it is power slap. You
guys know power slap right power? Explain to me please.
Power slap is derivative off of UFC held by Dana White.
It's a slap in the face type league. I guess
(32:49):
it's what you would know a slap in the face.
There it is. Yeah, that's light slap the hell out
of somebody. What are the like, what are the requirements
to be involved in that? You just got to have
a real strong um hand slat with like a good
good good palm with, you know, like your if your
(33:10):
good palm um is yeah, yeah. You stand across from
each other and you slap each other as hard as
you can and pie and nobody liked it because they
thought it was too brutal. They couldn't believe TBS put
it on, and so I lost it about a year. Well,
speaking of speaking of that. Uh, it is leaving TBS
(33:33):
for Rumble. It's a it's finale. What did actually garner
three million video views? Whatever that means, But it's now
leaving TBS for Rumble. Yeah, so that's what's rumble. Rumble
is a streaming service unlike TVs. I'm just trying to
understand why is it considered to be too traffic for
(33:56):
for TBS. It's, well, it's grown man, the grown men
slap at each other in the face with no real
defense and getting knocked out cold. So TBS was upset
with that apparently, I mean they were upset with it,
but they put it on, so it was like they
saw them cats getting slapped at all out again. It's
(34:18):
it's kind of like looking in the mirror and not
liking what you see, right, isn't that kind of like what? Yeah,
but it was out for a while before it hit
the televisions, so they knew what it was about before
they put it on. It's something something happened. It's not
the only promotion. There's a lot of like underground promotions
in the Midwest and a lot of other places. But
Dana White was all in on it, and especially I
(34:41):
don't think it had something to do with Dana White. Well,
I see what you're getting at. I mean, and I'm
just saying, like the timing of it when he had
his issue on New Year's curious yea, when he had
his issue on New Year's Eve, they had to push
back the launch because it was supposed to come after
the said Dana White took the new sport a little
(35:01):
bit too literal jeans, sorry jee. Season two is supposed
to take place in Abu Dhabi. Where's that? Abu Dhabi? Okay,
Abu Dhabi? Are you a tad gonna go there? They
(35:25):
just actually speakingly, what you do yesterday? What did you
do yesterday? Lee? The Super Mario World. We talked about
it on Are You In? Are You Out? I was
in once you enjoyed it? Yeah, it was a good time. Actually,
the lines were three hours long, so we were we
(35:46):
were in and we were out shopping together. Huh. They
closed the two lam what got Lee? Guys? We haven't
talked about XFL too often. Biggest game of the season,
Saint Louis BattleHawks. Uh. Fans were actually caught on video
(36:10):
chanting Crunky sucks because he was up in the booths
up up up in the VIP. Yeah, Rocky sucks Um
is a J mccarn's the quarterback for the battle Hawks.
Is he the one? He was getting emotional because he
was getting to play in front of his kids, which
is pretty awesome. But yeah, they're they're they're pulling thirty
eight thousand for the for battle Hawks games. Battle Hawks. Hey,
(36:33):
at least they're over the rams leaving. At least they
got out of that quick. You know where did they
get seven hundred million? Like? Is that what Cronky had
to settle for. I'm sure they'll utilize those funds really well. Yeah,
of course, Come on, all right, what else you got, lee, guys?
Holly Sanders Saunders Holly Saunders Saunders, Yeah, says she's launching
(36:55):
the hottest sports league in the world, hopless golf. You
guys ready for this? You know what, of all the
things you've said so far, that's the least of surprise.
Wait what what talpless chess pay per view records? Chess?
Exposed Sports is what she's launching. Exposed Exposed Sports is
(37:19):
her new uh? Holly Saunders, Holly Saunders you you yeah,
you were on a plane with her in de Laoia.
Aren't you aren't you? Yeah? Was she with laya? Was
she talking about Yeah? I see it's exposed with an X.
That is correct. By the way. Exposed is the name
of a bar next or a strip club out here
(37:39):
in the San Fernando Valley, and it's been next to
a bar called the Wet Spot. Swear to God, Canoga Park,
I swear to God. Play great music. There a lot
of tools. Yeah, I didn't eat part of the bird.
I gave us up for limp Berno, thank you for
asking bress me. Yeah. Expose. So are you guys in
(38:02):
on that or are you out exposed? Yeah? I don't.
I don't like watching. I'll stick to the live Yeah. Yeah,
chess is not fun to watch. I'm a chess fan.
