(00:50):
Spitting around your head? Yeah? Oh wow? Doing what? Come on?
You're not gonhead? The button, Bertie, This might be the
quickest button ever for one hold as a racist. I
could just imagine like getting fired up, taking your shirt
off and just spinning it around your head in a circle,
little helicopter T shirt. Yeah, click this one. Ever, one,

(01:12):
I don't understand how that's racist. That's all good man.
Everybody does that move? Come on, yeah, getting fired up?
It is uh yeah, take your shirt offs like a helicopter.
Who the hell's petie Pablo Berto? What do you mean?
Number two? He got two quickly? How is you don't remember?
Not really? Is that the guy from Carolina? Is that

(01:35):
the guy from Game of Thrones is in that new
zombie flick on HBO? Is that I guess that would
sound like his name? Yeah, I don't know, something like that.
The guy who listen you know, double pe you got three?
That quick pee? Pablo Pedro, Pascal Petro's papadacas. We got

(01:56):
double peas going on here? What do you want from me? Yeah,
I understand. I'm just trying to figure this stuff out
on the fly. But it is two pros and a
cup of joe. Here on Fox Sports Radio's Little Bar Arrington,

dessert break for BQ, Week off for Brady Quinns. He'll

coming up next Yeah, yep, it's coming up next month.
Do you remember this process for you approaching the draft

(02:58):
this far out? Are you still just hitting it hard,
like getting prepared or did you already kind of have
a feeling I'm going one or two and it's just
about which team it's gonna be that's gonna potentially move
up to take me where you know how this is
this possibly gonna work out. I need to make sure
I'm in shape. You're already in shape at this time,

(03:18):
so you don't give a crap about sort of what's
the finagling at the top of the draft and the
posturing from teams. You're just focused on getting to the
NFL and getting paid, Ain't that right? I mean something
like that. There's a lot of Uh, I think I
don't remember how many teams I've visited. It might have
just been Washington in Cleveland, I believe there were. There

(03:42):
were no workouts involved, no no pre draft workouts that
personal private workouts. But but we still had like in
between this time, you still had Pro Day, you know
what I mean. So there will still be a pro
day that takes place for the college players that work
out at their their own UM team facility, and and

(04:04):
so you you had to stay ready for that. That
was actually all intensive purposes. That's that's the more important workout,
at least from my perspective, was the the school workout,
the pro day at your school, and and so you
had to be prepared for that. But then after that

(04:26):
there were interviews where you go fly in too to
the facility of the places that were really really high
on UM looking to draft you. So that was a
part of the process. And and yeah, you well, for me,
I started I lived a little bit of life Jonas Uh. Hell,

(04:53):
I mean that's a it's a it's a different life.
Once you know you're you've solidified that you're going pro,
and you got to keep in mind. For me, I
came out early because I, um, you know, I obviously
was advised and knew that I would be a top

(05:15):
a top pick. So I'm already knowing that I'm gonna
be a top pick. You know, I'm not going to
do anything off the field to to run what I
have going on. But I'll tell you what I was
doing a lot of things off the field. Yeah. I
will say that Stick City was a place back then too.
It really was a place, and it was very different

(05:38):
place back then. I lived in the different there. You know,
there's different parts you can live in Stick City. Like
right now, I live in the civilized parent world of
Stick City. But Stick City back then, where I was
at was a little bit the weeds were a little
bit high, man. Yeah, it was. Yeah, it was like
going on, difficult to see at times, and y'all knew

(06:01):
some of them too, That's the thing about it. Like
it was, it was a lot going on, man, um.
So I'll say this, it ain't it ain't bad being
NFL bound football, college football famous bad. I can't even imagine.
Looks don't even matter anymore, Like you know, if you

(06:22):
ever had any type of um feeling to like low
self esteem about the way you looked or anything, you
didn't have to have any game. Your game didn't have
to be crazy good anything like that. It was just
you know, you you were football famous. Tell me about it.
I remember, like literally, it's like around the same age.

(06:42):
I was the maintenance guy at Toys r US and
then they promoted me to work the back room. Once
you know, you're on your way to the back room,
how about that, you know, get like like five or
six cents more an hour, and the next thing you know,
you're not having to clean up the tampon drawer and
the women's restroom or the die bird container and the
men or women's restroom, and all of a sudden, no

(07:04):
longer taking out the trash. Now you're moving around some
of the Fisher price toys, some of that stuff that
they can't get. You're going up on the top shelves.
So listen, I feel you, man, we're in the same
boat on that. I know that world's like you know
I'm talking about I was broke. I was broken this time.
I didn't have no money, so but I didn't really

(07:27):
have to pay for anything either though, you know, and
you know, there's sometimes there's some real there's some real
solace in the story you just gave. Man, Like I
enjoy normalities, man, I really do. Like even back then,
I can recall enjoying just being at home. It's a

(07:53):
weird thing, knowing that you're on the cusp of becoming
a multi millionaire but yet still leaping in the bid
that you grew up in. Like that's it. It's a
pretty cool feeling. Man, You're gonna be a millionaire and
you're looking up. You're like, man, that great Lloyd Posters
little as this little ass big, this little ass room,

(08:15):
you know the end. Hey, But I loved it. Yeah,
I loved it, man. I loved going home. I loved
being around my mom and my dad. You know, my
mom was she you know, she gets up early every day,
Like she gets up at like four am every day
even to this day. Um, she reads her Bible and

(08:37):
and she you know, goes over her finances and and
then then you know, when we were growing up, she
would make us breakfast unless we we it was a
serial day. But when I was, you know, going pro,
when I was at that this point, she was making
me breakfast while I was home, because I guess it's like,
you know, he's home, so I'm cooked for So that

(08:59):
was off the chain because my mom can burn in
the kitchen. So I do like that there were normal
parts of this time, because there were a lot of
parts that weren't normal. Like private jets was not normal,
you know, being driven around and limos was not normal.
Meeting the people that I was meeting at that point

(09:22):
in time was just not normal. So having having a
sense of what you just spoke about at Toys r
US and stuff like that, you'd be surprised how how
nice it is to to experience things that way, because
I think reality the line gets moved dramatically, you know,

(09:45):
once you're in position to be you know, drafted to
the league. Yeah, I mean, listen, we're on the same boat.
You know. That's how that's how we operate. That's why
this show that's just crazy. Man. I ain't gonna lie, like, look,
my baby mama is a fine chick. Like she's a
good looking chick. And and I you know, I did

(10:06):
all right, Like you know, I did all right as
as like a popular guy in this that and R
I wasn't struggling or anything like that. But I'm telling
you this was that time, like right now where you
had to really really focus and buckle down. That's when
you fight out. Who watched it? How many people actually

(10:27):
watch the NFL? Now they're all hitting you up, hey, man,
bro I got some wild stories, man, I had. I
had one person hit me up, hit me up and
tell me how much of a fan they were, and
they were hoping to welcome me to the city, the
city that I was possibly going to get drafted to,

(10:49):
which by the way, I ended up getting drafted too.
And drove to Penn State to say hello, like, what's
wrong on that? Take me out for that and take
me out for some waffles and some home fries. Drove
the Penn State and you know what, it was a

(11:09):
very nice visit. I found out very quickly. Yeah, Washington,
DC was the place for me. That that's the place.
That was the place. And it didn't stop now it didn't. Know.
I'm just telling you that's just one aspect of it, though. Man,
Like swimsuits look different, homes look different, cars look different,

(11:35):
clothes look different, like jewelry looked different. Like everything is different,
you know, yeah, yeah, I listen. I hear you. Man,
like you know, pulling up on a bicycle to toys
or us. Yeah, you know, picking up shifts wherever you
can find them. People start looking at you different, man,

(11:57):
you go from restroom to back room, looks are different,
the vibes different. I would assume you get that manager,
that managerial duty, that you're like the big dog, you know,
it's like getting drafted from like being like the person
that's just stocking you know, the you know, the room
or stocking the shelves to like you become the manager

(12:20):
and that's like once you hit manager, I would assume
that like things change, you know what I mean. Like,
but at that age, at your age, are you are
you like enjoying the benefits of the other employees? Is
it the moms that come in? Are you still too
young to look at you know, the moms like how

(12:41):
does how does that work? Yeah? It's so it's weird,
and I'm glad you asked. It's it's different because with you,
they look at you and they go, well, hey, he
may not be in the NFL now, but in a
month or so he will be, and let's invest now,
because that's going to pay off later. With me, there
was none of that. It was he works at Toys

(13:02):
r Us and he rides a bike to work, and
he's stocking shelves and he's you know, still trying to
figure out what the hell he wants to do with
his life. But don't worry about it, because if he
plays his cards right, he could you know, get promoted
and possibly be an assistant manager. Because you've got a
lot of veteran managers at Toys r Us that hold
on to that for dear life and they don't want

(13:22):
to give that up. And so yeah, there was none
of that. So so nowhere close to even you know,
venturing down the path of hey, invest in this kid
because you never know what he's going to be because
there was no guarantees at all. And then it also
kind of ruined everything when they saw you sneak around
the corner say all right, I'm gonna jam and everyone
think sorry, so what kind of car does he drive?

(13:43):
And next thing you know, you're on, Yeah, you're unlocking
a bicycle not nearby real life, like forty year old virgin. Yes,
damn in more ways than one, Yes, that is to that. Yeah,
but again that's that's I'm sorry for you. Man, That's
all right. Listen, you know you gotta go through because
I gotta tell you it's not like I'm saying. It

(14:06):
got different when I was going pro. But be clear,
Penn State was not a game. No, it pays to
be able to go to go to college and be
a college student. I'll tell you that college parties was
the best, the best time in my life in terms
of enjoyment. Just the purity of it was college like

(14:28):
it just turned into some weird sum once it became
a pro thing, it became way weird. Man. College was
College was way better. So we used to Santa Barbara
and UCSB has this place called Isla Vista. It's one
of like the great college party areas, especially out here

(14:49):
in California. And so Santa Barbara's like forty five minutes
north of US. And so what we would do is
because we didn't go to school there because again York
at Toys or Rossing. Why would you want to go
to school and get a college education when you can
work at toys or us. And so I remember showing
up to we would go to UCSB parties at ile Vista,
and I had this elbow sleeve on because I had

(15:11):
hurt my arm actually carrying some tricycle or something at
toys or US, and people people were asking me how
I hurt my arm, And every week I would come
up with a different story. Um, I'm red shirting at duke.
I'm a I'm a professional tennis player. I can't make
the tour. I made up a story every single week

(15:33):
I went there because you'd see, yeah, I've listened. I mean,
you gotta do what you gotta do. None of it worked,
none of it, you know, panned out in any way whatsoever.
But the point is, you're a good looking dude. I mean,
I'm sure you didn't have no really, you know, yeah,
well back then there were some problems we had. We
had some issues there. You know, I didn't have my Veneers,
so oh, you know, it's a little different, different feel,

(15:56):
just a just a mouthful of candy corn. And you know,
nobody was really interested in that. Very skinny, really pale,
couldn't grow facial hair, just a revolting looking human being.
But the fallback plan was the stockroom of toys r
US and the bike I rode that I parked at
ride Aid right around the corner. So see that there's
why would you park that riding? Because I didn't want

(16:18):
to know anybody, anybody to know I rode a bike.
Oh yeah, so you're trying to hide it around the corner.
And then and then when one of your co workers
would come out to their car and you were on
your way to your bike, you'd pretend like you drop
something and you weren't actually over there trying to unlock
your bike. You know, you got to come up with
all sorts of fun stuff. But now, was it a
huffy a BMX or was it like a mountain bike?

(16:39):
I think it was like a mongoose. I think mongoose.
Used to it was like an old mongoose. It wasn't
even mine. I had to borrow it from a buddy
of mine because I didn't even have a bike. Yeah,
I think it was like a like a mongoose or
something like that. I think I don't even know what
a mongoose is. I listen, Yeah, I know it is
a nice bike, but the problem is, yeah, I mean
they used to be like, what is it like? Is

(17:01):
it a beach cruiser type of mind. It's like a
like a like a regular bike. Mountain bike. Yeah, well no,
and it was like it wasn't a mountain Did it
have gear shifts on it? All right, you've seen the
movie et imagine that bike without that that weird alien
on the front and the basket. Okay, so it's like
a huffy. It's like, yeah, like in that in that range,

(17:23):
that's what we got. Like the bikes that did you
have mag wheels? I don't even know what that is,
like the top, you know, the wheels. You either had
the spokes or you had like the the mags. Oh
so you were pool back then if you had the mags. Yeah, spokes. Yeah,
there was no mags. Yeah, that sounded bad. Never might
leave it alone. All right. It is two pros and

bring up the NFL draft is because somebody's trying to
lead you to believe that they're going in one direction

(18:07):
when everybody's starting to get a vibe that they're actually
going in the other and it's near the top of
the upcoming NFL Draft. We'll have that for you right
here on Fox Sports Radio. Be sure to catch live
editions of Two Pros and a Cup of Joe with
Brady Quinn, LaVar Arrington, and Jonas Knox weekdays at six
am Eastern, three am Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and

(18:28):
the iHeartRadio app Two Pros and a Cup of Joe,
Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Jonas Knox with the here
coming up later on this hour a little over twenty
minutes from now, we are going to have ourselves a
little bit of a discussion about a story in the
world of sports that shows how you can overcome adversity
and a lot of controversy and still still provide enough

(18:53):
class and dignity to an entire sport to be given
another opportunity. So we'll have that for you here coming
up in a little over twenty minutes from now on
Fox Sports Radio. So the reason we were talking NFL
Draft is because the Carolina Panthers are now picking at
the top of the NFL Draft coming up next month,
and there's this notion out there that because Frank Reich

(19:14):
is the coach of the Carolina Panthers and he's got
a track record of working with bigger quarterbacks of taller
stature in the NFL, that the assumption is, well, it's
going to be probably c J. Stroud. They're definitely not
going to be taken Bryce Young. Well, Frank Reich talked
about that yesterday, and also about how his general manager,

(19:34):
Scott Fitterer was on the Seahawks coaching or the Seahawks
staff rather that drafted Russell Wilson back in the day.
And here's outsounded. Everything matters. All those conversations matter, especially
when it's you know, Scott fitter you know, it's the GM,
and he's talking about a guy like Russell Wilson, who,
by the way, I had a very high grade on.
Don't don't You don't have to read anything into that,

(19:56):
but I don't mind telling you that I had a
high grade on Russell Wilson. Okay, but don't read anything
into it. I'm just saying that because all all these
all these people are putting this label on me that
I only work with big quarterbacks. Don't read anything into that,
all right, so LaVar Arrington, don't read anything into it,
but I gotta know gut feeling as it stands right now,
a few weeks away from the NFL Draft, Who's going

(20:18):
to be the quarterback selected by the Carolina Panthers number
one overall? I mean, I think it has to be
Bryce Young. I just I just think, for all the
elements in play, it has to be Bryce Young that
goes number one. And I like Strout, I really do.

(20:39):
And I said I've liked Strout in my estimation. Probably
I would say I have less questions for Strout than
I do for Bryce and only because again, and I
know if Q were here, he would debate this fiercely.

(21:00):
Hold on, but yeah, who hold on? Hold on? Hold on? Um,
I just don't. I mean, I guess, for what it's worth,
the point I'm gonna make applies to Ohio State quarterbacks
as well. I just don't you know the history of
of Alabama quarterbacks coming into the league. It just isn't

(21:24):
It isn't there. You don't have the success. But I
guess you don't have that out of Ohio State either.
So I guess to sad like one or the other
based off of that is probably not a good good
argument point, But I just look at the physical the
physical stature of of Stroud CJ. And I look at Um.

(21:47):
I look at the way he played. I was there
in Atlanta when he played against Georgia. I was like,
I'm looking at the number one overall pick in the draft.
That's that's what I felt when I watched game, because
I believe he answered any questions that would have been
looming out there on him in terms of would he

(22:09):
be able to raise his level of play UM against
a team of the caliber of of Georgia. UM. He
showed athleticism, he showed great command of the offense, he
showed understanding of the defense. UM, he was mobile when
he needed to be. Uh. The only thing that went

(22:31):
wrong in that game is they didn't trust him at
the end, and that was that was kind of that
was a little weird, but it is what it is.
So can I can I ask you and I'm sorry, Rot,
but I go because you talked about it at the time,
and I forget what you had said. These split crowd
wise in Atlanta for Georgia Ohio State was what would
you say as far as Georgia fans to Ohio State fans.

(22:54):
I don't know it was it was it was more
Georgia fans for sure, Yeah, because they I think that
also played into it, the fact that, look, even though
it was a quote unquote neutral site, man, George's the
team in Atlanta, Like he talked to a lot of people,
so it was more Yeah, it was more George's fat. Yeah.
So like to see him put on that performance against
that team that hadn't lost in you know what over

(23:16):
a year, and to do that in a de facto
road game in that moment, I mean, he was just phenomenal.
Not for Marvin Harrison Junior getting injured. Uh, they I
think they walk away with that win if Marvin Harrison
Junior doesn't go down, Yeah, because they didn't have an
answer for him. But I guess to the to the point,
back back to my original point, Um, I felt like

(23:40):
c J. Strout was the most impressive. And while I
like what Bryce Young brings to the table, I know
his football ac is very high. I know his accuracy
is very good. M his leadership skills are are very high.
Like Bryce Young checks off all the boxes. He really does. Um.

(24:06):
But if I'm Frank Reich, I'm I'm I'm looking at
a team right now that has some potential but needs
needs help and needs work and in some areas and
in some regards, and what what type of quarterback would
be one built for this this roster, this this personnel

(24:28):
groupings that that you have, the the area of where
you live, like, so can can this quarterback handle the
elements you know, a playing in in in the east
and playing and cold colder, cooler temperatures. I mean, there's
a lot of things to take into consideration when when
considering a number one overall pick and and so I

(24:55):
would say, I would say Bryce Young is probably the
definitive leader of going number one overall, but I wouldn't
be surprised. I would not be surprised if something pops
up before the draft where Stroud or Levis kind of

(25:17):
gets talked about more and possibly being that first quarterback taken.
So CJ. Stroud when the trade was made, the betting
odds on who was going to go number one overall
completely shifted the other way. So now CJ. Strouds and
over two to one favorite to go number one overall,
and then you got followed by Bryce Young and then

(25:38):
Anthony Richardson and then Will Levis, and will Levis is
a distant fourth. Richardson's further down. So it does feel
like as much as Frank Reich and Scott Fitter are saying, well,
you know, we're going to go through the whole process
and we're gonna take our time. I find it hard
to believe that Carolina gives up what they gave up,
including a wide receiver in his prime and DJ Moore
who they probably could have used with the quarterback. I

(26:01):
find it hard to believe that they would give up
all that draft capital and not have a pretty good
idea who they want at the top of the draft.
And the fact that we've seen all of the movement
go the direction that it went. I think your assumption
at what you saw in that semifinal game against Georgia
on that stage, and without his best wide receiver late

(26:23):
in that game and down the stretch, I think CJ.
Strouds the pick, and I think they can, you know,
kind of steer everybody in a direction and they can
go through the pro days all they want. I find
it hard to believe they move up the way they
did if they didn't already have a guy in mind,
I don't disagree with that. I don't disagree with that,

(26:44):
but it could Here's the thing, right, those private workouts
could yield a different narrative. I think it could move
the betting the betting odds. That's what I will say.
I don't, I don't. I don't know that it's a lock,

(27:04):
like like as Vegas saying like this is like their
lock type of deal. It's not a lock. But when
you consider where everything was at and where it's at now,
it's it's a complete one eighty as far as the
betting market goes for who's going to go number one overall?
And and Bryce Young. Even after the measurables and you know,
five ten and an eighth or whatever it was in

(27:26):
two oh four, Even after all that, everything stayed steady.
The only time the betting odds moved is after this
trade was made where Carolina jumped to number one. That
to me feels like that's based on information. Somebody's got
a pretty good idea that that Shroud's going to go
number one. I mean, I wouldn't, I mean it would

(27:49):
that be a shocker to you? No, That's why I
think I think that would be a shocker I wouldn't
be a shocker to me. And but I'm being honest
with you, I would not be surprised if something changed
and will Levice becomes a conversation point for being number one.
I would not be surprised if that took place. And

(28:10):
I know Anthony Richardson, H Richards Richardson, Uh. I know
he did well in the draft, in the in the
in the combine. I know his measurables and his arm
strength and his size and his speed, all you know
sticks out, But I don't see him. I think he's

(28:33):
next tier. In my opinion, um from from Bryce, from
CJ and from from Levis, I would not be shocked
if will Levis change his pole position after we do
private workouts, after they do school school pro days, I
would not be shocked. And then now it could be

(28:54):
it could It could turn out to be Bryce Young
could turn out to be a third, third overall or
third pick. You know in the draft? Who has third Arizona? Yeah?
Now he won a third pick? Now yeah, I think so,
whoever isn't the first two picks? You know they're gonna maybe, wait,
who's after Arizona? Don't have Arizona? And an Indianapolis is

(29:16):
for well there you go. Yeah, So it isn't it funny? Though?
Like when you talk about how the if Stroud is
the guy picking number one, that's picked number one overall.
In a roundabout way, everybody was mocking the Houston Texans
for winning that final game and Lovey Smith screwed him
over and that was a parting gift because he was

(29:37):
going to get fired. And now they don't have an
opportunity to draft Bryce Young because that was the guy
they were probably going to draft. In a roundabout way,
that trade with Chicago, Bryce Young might end up and
it's very likely falling in the lap of the Houston
Texans and they didn't have to move at all, Like
they didn't have to budge at all. But because Carolina
may have fallen in love with CJ. Stroud, Houston's gonna

(29:59):
be sitting there and they're gonna end up getting their guy. Anyways,
how about that feel good story for the Houston Texans,
you know, feel good story after they were wrong by
Deshaun Watson Row. Yeah, it is two pros and a
cup of Joe. Here Fox Sports Radio brought to you
by Dollars Shave Clubs still over paying for a razor
in this economy, gross with dollars Shave Clip can get
a top shelf shave at a regular shelf price. Dollars

(30:20):
Shave Club is available to store near you in the
men's razor aisle. That's it. That's the ad, all right.
So coming up next we are gonna have another edition
of incase you missed it. But for all the latest
from around the world of sports. This guy should go
number one, number two, number three, anywhere we want in
the first round of the NFL Draft. He's Eddie Garcia,
all right, thank you, Jonas, He's got Eddie. With NBA

(30:40):
games up, note, Julius Randall of the Knacks scored fifty
seven points and his team lost at home to the
Timberwolves one one thirty four. Then it sort of had
all five of their starters and two bench players in
double digits. Warriors snapped an eleven game road losing skin
with a one twenty one one oh eight went over
the Rockets in Houston, O. They did meet the second
worst team in the NBA, and they're just eight and

(31:00):
twenty nine away from home. Grizzlies over the Mavericks one
twelve to one oh eight, no Luca Dodge for Dallas
due to injury, and no John Morant from Memphis. He
did serve the final game of the suspension. He was
eligible to play in this game against Dallas, but they
held him out. Apparently he's gonna return to the court
on Wednesday. Double over time in Philadelphia and the Bulls
beat the six Ers one O nine, one O five

(31:21):
to spite MVP candidate Joel and big Over thirty seven
points and sixteen rebounds for Philadelphia, Jazz over the Kings
one twenty eight, one twenty Hornets beat the Pacers one
fifteen to one oh nine. College basketball news is expected
Saint John's officially hired Hall of Famer Rick Patino to
be there next head coach. Seventy year old Patino reportedly
gets a six year deal. He's guided five different schools
to the NCAA Tournament, Boston University, Providence, Kentucky, Louisville, and

(31:43):
most recently Iona. Georgetown has hired Ed Cooley as their
next head coach. He leaves Providence after twelve seasons and
seven NCAA Tournament appearances. World Baseball Classic Japan scores two
in the ninth, walks off with a six five win
over Mexico and they'll face the US in the World
Baseball Classic title game coming up later on tonight. NHL
Penguins lose the Senators two to one, while the Panthers

(32:04):
down the Red Wings five to two. Florida moves past
Pittsburgh and into the final wildcard spot in the East.
Kings roll over the Flames eight to two. Oilers rally
passed the Sharks five four and overtime avonly had shut
out the black Hawks five nothing. And in the NFL,
the Houston Texans signed former Cowboys tied in Dalton Schultz
to a one year deal and former Bills running back
Devin Singletary to a one year deal as well. Now
back to the bar Arrington and Jones, Knoxon's HIGHERAC dot Com,

(32:26):
Fox Sports Radio Studios, Damn Penguins. It's a good run.
How many years in a row in the playoffs? A
lot of years in a row. It's what like two
thousand and five. I think that was maybe the last
time they missed or something like that. It's been a
hell of a run. Is the debate still there for
sit versus alex Well Crosby is the better overall player, right, Eddie,

(32:49):
you would say, oh, Yeahskins the probably the greatest goal
scorer in NHL history. Yeah, but the Penguins and goal
scoring Penguins made it a point to bring back, you know,
veteran players in the off season, which I think a
lot of people thought Malcolm was gone, maybe Letang was
going to be gone. They said, no, we're bringing everybody back,
and then here we are. It just feels like, yeah,

(33:10):
Malcolm was a beast though, Yeah he was. Yeah, but
sixteen consecutive seasons Jonas, Yeah, they've made the playoffs. Might
end this year. Yeah, I think it's probably gonna end
this year. But okay, they'll just trade away more draft
picks if there was another trade deadline coming up here.
That's what they usually do. It's unbelievable. Why don't we
talk more hockey? Eddie doesn't want to. I mean I've

(33:31):
been trying. Edie don't want to talk hockey. He's none
into it. I don't know what it is, all right,
it is two pros and a cup of Joe here
Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Jonas knocks. Coming up next,
we are going to get into a story in the
world of sports where despite all the stuff that happened
in your background, you still manage out of the love
of the game to still get opportunity after opportunity. We'll

(33:55):
get into that for you right here on FSR. Be
sure to catch live editions of Two Pros in a
Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington and Jonas

(34:44):
of Joe, Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Jonas Knocks with
the Hair coming up top next hour from the tirerack
dot Com Studios. One of the most disliked people in
all of football gonna be around for a little bit longer,
so we'll get into that story for you here again,
coming up top the next hour here on FSR. Before
we get to another edition of In Case You missed It,

(35:05):
want to let you know we are brought to you
by Progressive Insurance. Progressive makes bundling easy and affordable. Get
a multi policy discount by combining your motorcycle, RV, boat,
ATV and more all your protection in one place. Bundle

the guys are here to bring you in case you

(35:27):
missed it, And for that we turned it over to
our executive producer, Lead Lap. What's up, Fellas Yo Yo LeVar.
It is, guys. It took six years, but Rick Pettino
is finally heading back to the Power five after he
and Iona got eliminated by Yukon on Friday. He's taken

(35:48):
a job in the Big East. Um, yeah, he's heading back,
you guys. Feel good story. I'm sorry with Uh yeah,
I knew, I knew I was forgetting something there with
Saint John's to feel good stories back in New York.
You know, I mean all the struggles that he had.
Uh look, I mean maybe or maybe there wasn't you know,

(36:10):
hookers at Louisville for some of the players there, and
maybe he did or he didn't have an affair on
an Italian restaurant table next to some breadsticks and a jar.
Marinara agreed. So I just I feel like this is
a heartwarming tale of overcoming adversity and still managing to

(36:33):
coach and be successful. But he's a hell of a coach.
I mean, he's got a seven thirty four winning percentage,
he's been to seven final fours, he's got over eight
hundred wins. Everywhere he goes, he does well. They're just,
you know, occasionally some stuff pops up, you know, that's all.
So maybe Saint John's, you know, you know, is willing

(36:53):
to say, all right, we you know, we'll take some
of that if we can add a couple more ws.
I mean, people don't remember when Saint John's was actually good.
Remember when the Big East was good, Like Georgetown hired
Ed Cooley from Providence. Remember when the Big East was
the Conference LaVar Arrington, Syracuse was Georgetown so much fun? Yeah, Yukon,

(37:15):
all that Providence, all those Big East tournaments and Madison
Square Garden back in the day though. That was must
CTV so much fun, man, But yeah, it's too bad.
What else we got lee, guys? In case you were
missing Cam Newton, Lucky you. He made a big announcement
on social media yesterday. The thirty three year old announced
he will be throwing at Auburn's pro day, that being

(37:37):
today Tuesday. He also added this at the end. Check
it out. Hotti's randoms chim Gen Giles. Don't worry about it.
I'm a say I can't wait to say. Yeah, yeah,

(37:59):
that's hey. You tell him, man, not thirty two quarterbacks
better than him? A couple of randos, Yeah, a couple
of randos? He lying, Yeah, but hey, he's gonna be
throwing at Auburn's pro day that's coming up. Is this today?
Auburn's pro day to day Tuesday? Today? Okay, so he's

(38:20):
gonna be out there throwing it around. I love Cam Newton,
but feels like, yeah, we're kind of at the point
where it's over. You know, it's just sucks. I mean,
even if I said thirty two randos, I would say
sixty four randos is what I would feel more comfortable saying. Yeah,
he's not a starter. Right. I mean at this point,

(38:44):
I could see him working his way back into being
a starter possibly, but coming in as a starter, you know,
that would be you know that that last that last
go around, you know, and Caroline I know, wasn't wasn't
the best. Yeah, not great to that starter, but to

(39:06):
that point. I mean, there are some starters in the
league right now that you know, you could say or
hey scratchers. Yeah, you know, I mean, I hear you.
There's always that. Yeah. What else we got, Well, he
definitely won't be in Vegas, where Jimmy G was just
offered free sex for life from the famous Chicken Ranch brothel.
A couple of young lovely ladies there, Caitlyn Bell and

(39:28):
Alice Little, big fans of Jimmy G, said they would. Uh,
we're all thinking, you know, first time Raiders quarterback definitely
deserves it. But they love him so much. They said, uh,
they're offering him a free for life sex package. I
mean he should probably accept it, and just you don't
want to be rude, Yeah you don't. Just just hold

(39:49):
on to it just just in case. Okay, so you
said Caitlin Bell and Alice Little, Alice Little, Okay, let
me just go ahead. I mean, are they the man
there's the Madams of the place. Is that they're not
the Adams. They are just um workers at the establishment.
Jim Jimmy, they offered it, Jimmy Garopplo. You should. If

(40:10):
he's listening, I know he's a big fan of the show. Jimmy,
you should. I mean, at least sit down and have
a conversation with him. I would say, yeah, I'd tell
you you looked them up. Yeah, oh yeah, the yep.
That seems like you're good at getting in that computer
and getting that information. Trust me, that's not what I
want to put in the work computer. I'll tell you that.

(40:31):
Let's see, all right, as you gotta go incognito mode.
You look that one up? Started one questions in cognito mode?
You know, yeah, I thought you said what you said,
although that would apply. What's their names? What's the most
impressive person's name? Um? I would say, from the looks

(40:53):
of it, Um, probably Caitlin Bell from the looks of it,
if I had to, If I had to say, but again,
I'll do more research. Oh geez. Be sure to catch
live editions of Two Pros and a Cup of Joe
with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and Jonas Knox weekdays at

(41:15):
six am Eastern three am Pacific on Fox Sports Radio
and the iHeartRadio app.
