No Joe the knocks. Today we're hearing different rumors LaVar
(01:02):
about where exactly he is. I had heard that he's
getting a calf implant surgery this morning. Um Li said
there's a system of down concert's going on all this weekend.
What back in thousand Oaksley is that? Is that what
you were saying? That'd be Glendale, California? Glendale? Excuse me?
That's right? And then I guess Berto Berto heard something different. Berto,
What did you hear? Why Jonas is not here this morning?
(01:24):
I heard he's getting that sex change he was going
to get finally, that is, you know, to actually do
we have the sound to throw people should remember this.
Jonas didn't make this claim a long time ago, never
paid up for it. But so maybe that's the surgery
he's getting. By the way, if Tony Roma gets ten
million dollars a year, I'm getting a sex change. I
mean that's that's a good That's what I heard. Let's say,
(01:48):
how far him that? I'm going to call him on
the break? Are you? Yeah? It might need to check
out him. He might be he might be knocked out
at this point in time, you know, well, he might
be hard to get a hold of him. I hope
you feel better. What what will his name be? Joe, Joanna,
Joe Nanna? What like I think Joanie? Right? Is that
(02:11):
that's what he said before on radio. I'm not sure
what what he said to you privately, so I don't know. Yeah,
I don't have those conversations with him privately. Actually I can't.
Can't say, well, I've had to have those on the
air with him, you know after he lost that bet.
We we did have to go down that rabbit hole.
So yeah, a little unfortunate, But you know what, youone
(02:31):
else is unfortunate. It's the fact that there could be
a team out there, LeVar that needs a quarterback, and
unfortunately they say there's just there's not enough depth to
trade up. I mean, at this point, that leads me
to think that. And by the way, that's general manager
Chris Ballard of the Innapolis Colts. But you know he's saying,
there's enough excuse me, there's enough depth where they don't
(02:55):
need to trade up. You don't have to trade up, right, Yeah,
they can just stay put at number four. And that's
kind of interesting to me that they obviously see all
four of these quarterbacks we've talked about in the first
round in a similar light or talented enough to be
able to take at that spot. And so they're almost
telling someone that's behind them, whether it's the Las Vegas Raiders,
(03:15):
if they happen to be a surprise team to trade
up Atlanta and anyone else who's behind them. At this point,
they're basically saying, go ahead and talk to Arizona because
we're not moving from where we're at, which is kind
of interesting because you'd think they'd want to get that
position solved. That seems to be the one of the
missing links over the course of the last few seasons
for them, is it not? Yeah, I mean you do
(03:37):
need that, and there is I mean there's depth. There
is depth, and there's in particular, there's a depth a quarterback.
So if you're not looking at a quarterback, you can
you can probably sit where you're at within the top
ten and still get who you want met. You might
be able to get who you want in the top fifteen,
(03:57):
to be honest, you know, as you're first guy that
you wanted to take. So you know, I think that
there's there's a wealth of talent and this and this
uh in this draft class. But I think that where
where you have it, you you have what you have
four i'd say, what four quarterbacks that you have to say, well,
(04:20):
and there's there's a fifth one that's been making some
waves too, and in Hendon Hooker out of Tennessee. Now
he is coming off a torn acl but um, there's
been a number of reports stating that some teams like
him in the first round, you know, maybe mid back
of the first round. There's been some pundits that have
said it he could go as high as number five
to the Seattle Seahawks. He feels like they're really enamored
(04:40):
with him. I think it's a great class. Four quarterbacks
and you got some you got some hatch guys, you
got some interior guys. Uh, it's you got receivers. So
it's it's I don't know that you have a whole
lot of prospects where you would say, all right, here
(05:01):
is a Randy Moss. I don't think there's any Randy
Mosses in this this draft. No, no, no disrespect, no
shade um. But there could be some real nice steals
at the white receiver's position. Running back isn't even valued
that way anymore, so you know who's you know, we're
not looking at the running backs position as being one
(05:24):
of those those spots where you see, you know, three
or four multiple guys go. I'd be surprised if the
kid from Texas doesn't go in the first round. I
think he'll be a first rounder. But do you do
you take your first round picking put it on a
running back. I mean that's a big question. So and
then again, do you look at some of the other positions,
(05:45):
the linebacker positions. Got got some good guys at that position,
You got some good cover guys, you got some good
saying it's a it's a pretty balanced class, I would say, so,
I don't unless you're in love with somebody, I don't
know that you you know, I don't know that you
have to be aggressive in terms of trying to move
(06:08):
up on the draft board unless you're trying to get
you know, Bryce Young or or c. J. Strout or
maybe even Will Levis or if it's Anthony Richardson right like,
if it's one of those four guys, or if it's
Jaylen Carter, you know which you know, I don't know
if that's and play out on him. You're out on
Jalen Carter. I'm not out on him. You're out on him. No,
(06:29):
I'm not out on him. I just know, I just
you know, I don't know. But what I find interesting
is is this time of year you've got such varying
opinions on players. You know, for the example, remember we
talked about earlier this week, the Carolina Panthers have basically
come down to two quarterbacks, you know, Bryce Young and CJ. Strout.
And what fascinates me about the draft process is, you know,
(06:52):
when I was with there talking to Houston, and Houston's like,
you know, hey, we really like this guy, and Caroline's like, well,
you know, we're kind of, you know, on the fence.
We could really do either guy, So why don't you
trade up to number one to take the guy you want?
Like they've talked about trading back. I think Houston's the
(07:12):
only trade party that would make sense, you know, with Carolina,
at least to ensure they get at least one of
the two guys they really like and c J. Straud
out of Ohio State and Bryce Young out of Alabama,
or the guy they want because maybe they know which.
At that point, you know, Houston would just say, well,
if you're gonna take that guy, we're gonna take this guy,
and we're gonna stay put, so it wouldn't be a trade.
(07:34):
But what I find most interesting about it is you
get a general manager Chris Ballard who says, you know, hey,
there's enough depth where we don't need to trade up. Okay,
I mean, you got four very different quarterbacks of shape's sizes,
style of play, and you're telling me you'd be good
with any of the four. Now, I do wonder how
(07:56):
Lamar jackson situation factors into this. You know, do they
view potentially Lamar still being there since no one submitted
an offer sheet to Hey, if we don't get the
guy we want, we could turn around to Baltimore and say, look,
we'll give up our two future first round picks and
this is the contract we're willing to offer, and then
(08:18):
see if Baltimore is willing to match. It'd be interesting
to say that would play out. Does Lamar have to
accept that contract or can he turn it down? No,
he could accept it. That The problem is, Baltimore always
has the chance to match. So let's say, for example,
the Indianapolis Colts offered a contract that was less than
what Baltimore's already offered Lamar. He might say, I'm going
(08:41):
to accept it just so I can get out, and
then you'd have Baltimore too though, right, Yeah, he could
turn it down, and then he'd have to you know,
he'd have to he could either and agree to a
longer term extension and he still has time to do
that with Baltimore, or you know, he could obviously play
under the one year not exclusive franchise tag. But I
think a greater point is if he really wants out,
(09:02):
he just needs someone else out there to make an
offer that the Baltimore Ravens would have to match, and
at this point he might or the Baltimore Ravens might
be saying, man, this has been a headache. We'd rather
take the two first round picks. We'll move forward with
Tyler Huntley and whatever their quarterback we want to sign.
Or maybe if they draft a quarterback in the second, third,
(09:25):
fourth round, maybe that's a sign or four falls to Baltimore.
I mean, it seems feasible at this point. I mean,
there's it seems to have been a lot of damage
done in terms of how they view each other at
this point, both sides. But it stilled to me would
be confusing because if that team that matches the offer
(09:48):
on the table with the non exclusive franchise tag, well,
if they put an offer, if it's not more guaranteed
money than Deshaun Watson and and Lamar Jackson takes it
because he wanted to get out of Baltimore. I mean,
doesn't that defeat the purpose of all the conversations that
(10:10):
have been surrounding the Lamar Jackson scenario to begin with? Yeah,
I mean he would be standing on the principal value
of this is what I want? Then why would you
accept that contract from someone else? I think it'd be
just to get out and then to hope that that
new organization would eventually give you what you're looking for.
Let's say it's a shorter term deal, they get you
(10:32):
what you're looking for in two or three years. You
know that that would be the thought as if Baltimore
hasn't offered me what I want by now, after you know,
being five years with this organization, to you now exactly
like there might be the thought that they'll never give
it to you. So why not then go to another
organization where after a couple of years, you know, we
(10:54):
start doing something special. I went a Super Bowl here,
they'll open they'll open up the checkbook. It's not a
bad it's not a bad thought. But you got to
give up two first rounders for it? And is it
worth it? I mean, is it? Is it? Worth it,
and I would say one percent if I could get
ahold of Lamar Jackson, I would do it, especially under
(11:16):
the circumstances that you're saying. If the guy that I
wanted at quarterback wasn't there, I'm gonna trade it, like
i'mna like, yeah, all right, let's get let's I mean,
if Lamar Jackson is in this draft class, where does
he rank? Know what we know now? The tough thing is,
you know he'd be he'd be ranked towards the top.
(11:38):
You know, he'd be definitely ranked towards it. He'd be
ahead of anthrow Richardon and will love us. The hard
thing is is you can't look at him what he
is now as compared to you know, the difference of
what he was as a prospect. As a prospect, he
was phenomenal to me, he was one of the top
quarterbacks in that class. And you know, he obviously has
been everything you'd hoped he'd be. But you know now
that he's got experience and he's he's proven himself, it's
(12:01):
different because you're buying a known commodity. So to your point,
like two first round picks is cheap for Lamar because
you know what you're gonna get in Lamar. So you know,
if we were making a straight up trade and maybe
this will eventually happen depending on how the draft works out,
someone's gonna be willing to give up much more in that.
Now the question becomes, you know, are they willing to
give more in a contract and appease what he's looking
(12:24):
for there? And that's ultimately, I think the toughest question
to answer because you know, much like after the Kirk
Cousins deal, no other quarterbacks signed a similar deal. You know,
no one, no one signed a fully guaranteed deal like that.
It took until Deshaun Watson in a very unique circumstance,
which you know, we'll probably never know outside of desperation
(12:45):
of Jimmy Hasm and the Browns, why they did it,
Why why they paid that much too. I mean again,
it wasn't like they incrementally went over like what was
fully guaranteed at that point in time. They literally hit,
you know, skipped, jumped, took a boat like over the
difference between what was fully guaranteed before and what Deshaun
(13:07):
Watson got. I mean that that was one of the
biggest leaps we've seen as far as progress from a
contract to mention and you get rid of your former
number one overall pick correct who would have been much
much cheaper. And I'll be honest with you, I mean,
based on the little bit that Baker played with LA
last year, I don't know, I think it would have
(13:28):
played better than de Seauan looked with the Browns last year.
I mean, I don't know. But the point is this
is there's obviously so many different opinions on these quarterbacks,
on these players in the draft. You know, what Indie
does is going to be one of the greatest fascinations
to really this offseason. You know, do they draft one,
do they trade up? Do they not? Do they stay put?
(13:49):
Like ballot saying if they don't get their guy. You know,
let's say someone trades up to number three with Arizona.
You know, do they then are they then in the
sweep stakes? Full Lamar Jackson? I mean Lamar Jackson store
is gonna play out for a long period of time.
But but I think Indie's one of those teams that
they've talked about them. They need to address the quarterback spot.
(14:09):
That's gotta be a target for them, at least in
my mind, you know, Penn State knows and loves the
Redding Rocket won Lenny Moore, he was a great random ball,
was amazing running the ball, and played for the Colts.
But he played for the Colts in Baltimore. So maybe
this is a scenario where you really measure it out,
(14:32):
weigh it out, you know, hold your water, get to
the draft and he really is who you're looking to get.
Maybe the draft pick is actually that's that is the
kind of way they say the loser's prize, Like, I'll
use the draft pick. But maybe all along you're sitting
here looking at like if we can actually posture long enough,
(14:56):
make it to the draft, and Lamar Jackson is still
in a state of limbo like he is right now,
we can we can slide in and be the savior.
Like look, Lamar, well we'll work through a major contract,
we really will. But right now, let's just get you.
Let's just get you out of Baltimore. Let's get you
(15:17):
in a you know, you know Colts uniform, you know
Baltimore Colts. Now they're to endy Colts. Like, let's play
this up. You'll be a great We need a QB
like you, Like, let's make this work. I mean, maybe
you appeal to another side of them outside of just
going straight to the money side of it. I don't know.
It's a possibility, it could play out. Possible, it could
(15:40):
play out. It could play out, but um, you know,
again a lot more time. This story is not gonna end,
unfortunately for those of you I hate to hear about it,
at least in the the NFL circles. It's not gonna conclude
anytime soon, at least I don't foresee that being the case.
But something I also didn't foresee is a prole pole
player in the NFL having a little fun, having a
(16:01):
little fun really talking with his brother on their podcast,
but trying to name NFL head coaches. You won't want
to miss this. It's one of the funnier things you've
ever heard. Coming up next here on Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe Live from the tairac dot com studios.
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LaVar Arrington and
(16:22):
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app. It's two
Pros and a Cup of Joe come to you Live
from the Tairac dot com studios. Brady Quinn, LaVar Arrington,
No Jonas Knox Today. We've got all sorts of different
stories circulating. I'm I'm not going to revisit Burto's because
(16:44):
I didn't see that one coming. I'll be honest with
you that one. That one caught me a little bit
off guard. But we do hope Jonas is enjoying the
time off with whatever he's doing. We hope he's enjoying
his time off, maybe more so than a couple of brothers,
some absolute legends that play currently in the NFL, the
Kelsey Brothers, who they do a podcast. It's a ton
(17:08):
of fun to listen to. If you don't check it out, Lee,
what does that podcast call? Because I do not have
that past. There you go and um and this is
an activity that look, everyone has a lot of fun
with the annual owners meetings that tends to be out
in Arizona this past week, and one of the things
(17:30):
that comes out from that is the photo of all
of the head coaches in the NFL. H Kyle Brandt
does an unbelievable job with it, breaking it down on
good Morning Football. And now the Kelsey brothers have got
involved and they had a little little activity, if you will,
And it's kind of a long listen, but it's it's
a fun listen. They Jason, Travis's older brother. He tried
(17:53):
to see if Travis could name every head coach in
the NFL, and he actually didn't even try to do that.
He just tried to match the face of the coach
with their team because he couldn't remember all their names.
But taking a listen to this, let's give it. Let's
give the Travis else's trying right now. I can, I can.
I'm the worst with names, but I can tell you team, okay,
(18:14):
all right, Starting on the left, Chargers standing up, sitting down,
standing up, standing up, Chargers, Giants, San Fran that guy
I don't I don't know. The next two Steelers his
head Steelers, Tampa is that Tampa Detroit. No chance you're
(18:36):
getting this, one zero percent chance. No Jets after Jets, nothing.
I don't even I've never seen that man in my life.
So good, I mean three in a row. I have
no idea. Those dudes are every everybody between the Jets
are off the coordinator chanting for the Coals. Come on, Travis, Um,
(18:59):
who's who's next to up? Who should know that one?
You should definitely know that one. Demko, who's the other one?
You should know him because he's arguably your biggest rival.
Oh that is yeah, that's Sincy. That's not he's a
doubt name. What's his name on his name name? That's uh,
that's coach. Oh my, this is so good. I'm telling
(19:20):
I told you I was terrible with names. I don't
even know exactly. The worst Taylor I knew was a
t I'm sorry, coach Taylor. Who are doing at the bottom?
Do you want to keep doing this? This is fun? Uh?
All right? Are you going back to the left, you're
starting on the right. I'm starting starting right and going
back left fully. Um again, never seen this guy in
(19:42):
my life that you don't know? The two Eagles coaches
I got head coaching jobs. Oh my god, this is
so good. I love what's happening right now. Um, Miami,
there's no way, man, there's no way that got coaches
in the NFL. Man. Then Pete Carroll Harball, Yeah, obviously
(20:04):
you know the next riveric qbs um Peacock quarterback play,
Broncos country let's ride Gordon Bombay, we got the Packers
and then just no clue then Bills. Oh man, um,
I hope you enjoyed that as much as I did,
(20:26):
and going through it, I think the most interesting thing
about it is there are guys that obviously, like the
Chiefs just won the Super Bowl, they went up against Philly,
and like he didn't know anything about the opponent. That's crazy,
Like does that not kind of strike you as I like,
I would be able to know the OC on the
opposite team and the defense cord on the opposite team.
(20:47):
I mean, I saw him, you'd see him like. That's
just I don't know, Maybe that's just more I'll have
a quarterback work. Yeah, I wouldn't know all. I wouldn't
know ocs or DC's okay, but a head coach, hey, coach, though,
I would do pretty good. I think I would do
pretty good. Which, by the way, one of my favorites
was Dougie Pe Dougie Pee, which he never did his
name who that was apparently equits to Sean McVay. So
(21:11):
that's that's what he was calling. Oh, I thought he
was talking about Doug Peterson in Jacksonville, But well, I
think he was referencing Doug Peterson at one point, but
he also was referring to the guy next to him,
which I believe was Sean McVan the photo, but um,
a lot of good ones. I mean the Mike McDaniel
one which was bleeped out a number of times that
(21:35):
was as to fall he follows in my my line
of thought on that, like he's a coach, Like this
guy as a coach, like he's a he's an NFL.
Hey coach that. And then I mean, look, Sean Payton
is one of super Boy has been around forever. He
just said the QBS. That's all he really said, Like
like progress country, let's ride. That's right, Yeah he did.
That's crazy. I mean, yeah, you got. I mean Sean
(21:58):
Sean Payton is a known name. Some of them like
ever flews like I might stumble on a couple of them.
But you know, for the most part, I mean, there
shouldn't be that hard. I'm trying to it shouldn't be
that hard to attach a team to the coach's face, right,
Like he's not even doing names right, Like I could
(22:19):
go through a name everyone, but like he's he's he's
just attaching a team, and he struggled. I mean, there
were about three in a row after Mike Tomlin and
Todd Bowles, who he just called Tampa that he that
he couldn't even name. I mean, come on, man, Burt,
I was waiting for apparently sleep at the wheel right now, okay,
anywhere racist. I mean, I will say this, it was interesting.
(22:43):
He did have down. Um, you know, he didn't know
who Mike mc daniel was, or at least what team
he coached for. Mike Tomlin did have Todd bowls that
he did have that. You know, obviously there's there's not
as many minority coaches in the NFL, but he did
have those guys down, so he was he was paying
attention to it to a certainty, gre I guess. But
the reality is a lot of fun. The Kelsey brothers
(23:05):
have a great podcast, New Heights Lee. That's what it's called,
New Heights. Yes, New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelsey. Yeah,
I mean, obviously great great podcast, a ton of funny.
It's pretty funny. They're pretty funny dudes, man, So they're
great dudes. I mean, and they also they also obviously
do a good job of great stuff off the field
as well, if you ever check out some of the
(23:26):
stuff they do it in the community. But one of
the things I wanted to run back and talked about
in the last thing. We were kind of talking about
Ballard the quarterbacks draft class. One of the things that's
becoming more of a I guess a subject of conversation,
if you will. Leavar is will Levis, and I'm sure
you've seen the photos of him that he's taken. He's
(23:47):
absolutely yoked up, ripped up. Some people are questioning the lighting.
I think I got a text about that from someone like, hey,
is is he actually that ripped up? Ors? Just the
lighting bad in the first photo? Oh, I ain't no
where nair what he is in the second photos. Yeah,
and I think that's what a two month transformation from
January to March. Yeah, so that was quick. Yeah, but
(24:11):
well it's quick. But people also don't realize, like when
you're training for the combine and you're training during this
period of time, like you're in Probably at least I
felt like I was in the best shape of my life.
I mean, I don't know how you felt, but uh yeah,
I mean that's all I did, right, right, That's all
I did when I went to I went to Wild
World of Sports. I went to Orlando and literally was
(24:33):
working out two times a day. I had never worked
out two times a day. And your diet, I assume,
was different too, right, it was you're eating I mean
everythings and all that stuff, and yeah, yeah, you got
a black on. I put on ten pounds and I'm
sure it was a muscle. Yeah, I was yoked out. Yeah,
I mean, And that's the reality. Like for a lot
of people who kind of you, you're a fan of
(24:53):
college football, you see these guys go on to next level,
You're like, well, what happens from like January? And then
I see them in the draft? They never at uh
most in most cases, though obviously there are examples of
guys who didn't, you know, channeling Carter at the Pro
day didn't look like he was, you know, getting great
shape and training as hard as he should have. But
for the vast majority of these guys, it's some of
(25:14):
the best shape they'll ever be in because to your point,
they're training all day, they're on a diet, they've got
a nutrition just working with them, They're getting the right rest.
There's not the the you know, a lot of these
guys aren'tthing like, yeah, they're not taking classes, having to
walk around campus. You know, they're in the best shape.
So it leads you to to you know, in some cases,
I think it looked like this. My whole thing is
(25:35):
like Will Levis is getting some pushbag because he looks
the way he does, and I was, you know, my
dad was was a marine, and I grew up working
out and and you know, tend to be you know,
more cut. Anyway, that was just how our genetics were
with our family. Um. But so I kind of hate
to hear like people saying, oh, he can't do this,
or he doesn't do this, or he's to this kind
(25:58):
of in a way. But the reality is this, Anthony
Richardon's pretty ripped up too, And I don't hear many
people talking about how built, how strong, how ripped up
he is. And then comparing you compared to Will Levis,
it's one thing you compared to anthy richested it's another thing.
I mean, Burt, are you serious? Well, I'm just staying
(26:18):
in fact, like, thank you you. It's interesting that people
attribute like, well, the way an athlete looks in one capacity,
like oh, the guy's too stiffs too rich, I can't
throw and the other one like, there's still comment look
at it, look at him. I mean if oh he
(26:43):
did did hit it? Yeah we will. Levis actually did
it first and then said, yeah, I was trying to
one up him and throw through through the roof. Yeah,
that's right, that's right. Which I'm not really sure that
either quarterbacks should be bragging about that, all right. I
think most quarterbacks, if they want to hit the roof,
can hit the roof, especially if you're viewed as a
first round quarterback. You should be factoring that in when
(27:06):
you're throwing a deep ball. You know, my first thought
seeing both quarterbacks hit the roof was wildly inaccurate. No,
it was actually the fact that, you know what my
first thought was, your foot works slow and sloppy, and
you need to pick it. You need to get your
footwork faster, because there's no way you should be lollygagging
like that in your drop and then have to throw
(27:27):
a ball with that much trajectory because yeah, but by
the way, you'll never get to complete that in the NFL,
Like we also always used to do these studies. You
know that that middle field safety and a lot of
times you're throwing goal balls, or you're throwing like a
deep post that middle field safety if he's if he's legit,
and most are in the NFL, right, this is the NFL.
(27:49):
He's picking that off, or he's knocking your wide receiver unconscious.
If you put that much air under a ball, Now,
if you scrambled down by some time different sorry, but
in this case, like you're throwing a ball with that high,
that much trajectory, it's probably picked off someone's unless someone
fell down. There's gonna be time for a guy to recover.
(28:11):
So I'm kind of sitting there watching her going if
I'm the quarterback coach running that drill, I'm like, dude,
pick up, move your feed faster, like this is the NFL.
Like you can't just lack the days ago like and
to just drop back and throw a ball like that.
So I don't know they're all bragging about it, but
I would be willing to bet CJ. Stroud as well
as Bryce Young could probably hit the roof too if
(28:32):
they tried, even though I think Ohio States indoor facility
is much higher, like you can put in there compared
to the other two. I don't know. I don't have
an issue with Will Levis being built. I don't know
if you do. As a rocked up quarterback, is that
a problem for you. I tend to try to think about, like,
you know who yoked up even today? Is Tim Couch?
(28:54):
Have you seen Tim Couch? Well, okay, Tim Couch also
got pop for PDS at the end of his career.
He is rocked up. Um Anyway, I don't I don't
even know that I can think of any yoked up
quarterbacks that I ever saw or played against. And it's
almost like kind of like the boxing scenario, like you
(29:17):
never want to see a boxer be yoked up like
look amazingly like good because they say there's it's it's
called working muscle. I guess it's kind of the term
of it where it's like, oh, he's got a bad body,
but he's a hell of a boxer, you know. And
it's kind of like just one of those things where
I guess people equate stiffness, like you said, they equate
(29:39):
stiffness and and limited motion when you're when you're like
super super rocked up. So I don't know, I don't
know what side I would fall on on that I
know you definitely don't need to be as as physically
put together that way at the QB's position. But if
(30:01):
you are, like, so, what you know, I don't know.
I think I think if you start looking like that,
like really looking like that, they probably start thinking like, oh,
maybe he should be a tailback or exactly, maybe he
should play another position, maybe play another position, you know,
And but you know, I don't. I don't have a
problem with it. And my whole thing is like, as
(30:23):
long as the guy's got the flexibility and mobility that
you're looking for, what does it matter. I mean. The
other thing is, in today's NFL, a lot of quarterbacks
you don't have to be have they build it a
run or at least they're coming from offenses where they're
as a part of what they did and a part
of their skill set. And if that's the case, like
you're gonna have to have a little extra padding, You're
gonna have to have a little extra muscle. And by
(30:44):
the way, a Vander Holyfield was pretty built, you know,
back when he was in his prime. And I would
say the same about Mike Tyson, Like that's another dude
that I thought, like it is prime, Like I don't know.
He wasn't he was he was built well, but he
wasn't like ripped up, ripped up like QUI. But but
you think that's genetics. Yeah, like like like a Frank Bruno.
(31:05):
You remember Frank Bruno, like yoked up like muscles on
his on his head, right, And and that's that's the
thing though, is I feel like there's there's been guys
that I've played with, worked out with that they don't
work that hard. I been guess what that they are? Yeah, right,
and there's other guys who work their tail off and
you're like, I feel like they just can't help it.
(31:27):
It's just it's just partially genetics too. And I think
that's like a missing link to all this. So like
if you're bashing Will Levis for him being too cut,
too ripped, like some of it, Like I don't want
to sound like a d bag and saying this, but
like he might not be able to help it, like
when he gets in great shape that that's just maybe
what he looks like. Yeah, I don't know. I don't
know either, but I'm a Will Levis fan. Um. I've
(31:51):
spoke to him a few times just as super I mean,
I know some people that put it out there and
maybe different different interactions with but I think he's a
dope dude. And one thing about it, he's a leader.
He's definitely a leader. And so you know, if he
felt as though he needed to get, you know, stronger
(32:13):
with what he had going on, more power to you, man.
Like I'm never going to be mad at somebody for
working hard. Like you can never tell me, oh, yeah,
you're working too hard, like stop working so hard like that.
That's not something that kind of falls into my line
of thought. As long as you're being as long as
you're being responsible about how you approach what you're doing,
(32:35):
like you said, keeping that mobility and all that stuff.
You know, it is what it is. I'm with you
on that. I'm with you, and I have no problem
with people being yoked up. All right, come on, I'm next. Obviously,
the Final four is coming up this weekend, so we
have talked about it yet, but we've got you covered
with a little bit of over unders on the other
side of this brink. Be sure to catch live editions
of Two Pros and a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn,
(32:56):
LaVar Arrington and Jonas Knox week days at six a m.
S darn three am Pacific. Hi, this is Jay Glazer
and you may know me for the world of football
or Fighting Braven shows like HBO's Ballers. Oh you don't
know is for my entire life. I have lived in
something I refer to as the grey depression anxiety. So
now I'm coming out with a new podcast, Unbreakable, a
(33:18):
mental health podcast with Jay Glazer, where each week, while
we talk about mental health, I hope to describe it,
give it words. Listen to Unbreakable with Jay Glazer on
the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts.
Oh yeah, yep, yep. It's two pros and a cup
(33:45):
of Joe. I'm Brady Quinn. That's LeVar Aaronson. No Jonas
knocks today. We'll talk about a little of what's going
on with him personally in the next hour, since he
can't be here to talk for talk about it himself,
but we'll come up here in just a moment. We've
got over unders four you I assume Lee, I haven't
talked to you. I probably should have talked to you
about this specific segment to make sure we've got some
(34:06):
final four over under. Its do happen in there? Oh?
Of course, of course, we just making sure before that though,
we'll talk to you a little bit about Progressive and
we're brought to you by Progressive Insurance. Progressive makes bundling
easy and affordable. Get a multi policy discount by combining

(34:27):

Lee further ado, take us with you, over Unders. Time
to put your money where your mouth is. You know
you're aligning low life and it's over under. Thank you, Brady. Yes,
we are going to get some men's basketball champions final
(34:49):
four here over Unders. In fact, LaVar is gonna be
see if he can keep it going because he took
a shellacking to Jonas last week on March Madness. In fact,
he went five and ogan'st Jonas going one in four.
So maybe that's wow why Jonas took today off. He's
a little embarrassed. That is a butt kicking, huh. So
let's see if you can keep it going, LeVar. We're
gonna go with the seeding of the men's basketball Championship
(35:13):
after the final four, the over under is nine and
a half. That would be the best they could be
is nine, That being San Diego State five Yukon four.
That would be the lowest seeding you can get. So
say it again as getting me. Yeah, wait, what is
the FAU at nine seed? FAU is in the nineteen
see the combination of the two teams? Yes, correct, that
(35:33):
would be San Diego State and Yukon five seed in
a four seed. So the lowest seed we can get
for the men's basketball Championship is a nine. Therefore, the
over under is set at nine and a half. Oh,
alf cas San Diego States, you said is a five?
FU is nine nine? So yeah, um, Yukon four Miami five.
You're basically saying, are you betting on the two favorites winning? Correct?
(35:56):
I'm going to say, you know what, the way this
tournament has gone, nothing's been towards the favorites, but Yukon
is playing the best right now. I love Dan Hurley.
I'm gonna say the under because I think Yukon beats
Miami so and I have I have rooted for FAU.
(36:17):
Oh It's tough, all right, you know what, I'm gonna
take the over. I'm gonna take the over. I'm taking
the under on this. Oh all right, guys. I actually
had to ask about the women's Final four. Caitlyn Clark
just won the Ape Women's Basketball Player of the Year.
She's scored forty you know, she played tonight by the
(36:39):
way nine pm on ESPN. That is correct. She has
averaged twenty seven points all season long. And you can
find this on DraftKings are over under at twenty six
and a half. Wow, tonight South Carolina LaVar is one
of the best offensive teams. Yeah, I'm taking the under.
I'm gonna take the over because I think for them
to have any chance, and I do think Iow has
a shot, she's have to shoot a lot. So I'm
(37:00):
gonna take the over for Kaitlin Clark. This is an
over under that we've been rolling from week to week.
Aaron Rodger trades by this time next week and a half.
Oh under, All right, no over? Excuse me? Yeah, I
think I think it's not happening. Is the over? It
happening is the over? It is not happening is the under.
I'm taking the under. Keep that rolling, all right, guys.
(37:22):
We have UFC two eighty seven Preiro versus out of
Sonya two last one in two eighty one Preiros scored
to come from behind TKO and the fifth. So the
over under on this one is rounds four and a half. Hey, Burto,
any help here? I mean it sounds like you might
have some insight on this. I'm taking the Oh no,
I don't watch you have seen? Okay, well that was
(37:43):
already as I'm taking the over on this, I'll take
the under just a different I have no idea. I
guess just fallow Jonas's gig Burto's going to the Dodgers
game tomorrow versus the Diamondbacks number of tall cans he
has at the game three and a half. Over taking
the under. You're gonna discount at this point in time,
No Berto, No, no, I'm still taking the over. I
(38:06):
think he's gonna throw a bunch back. Come on, baseball
just started. Yeah, that's the weekend, the weekend baby. Fox
