Speaker 1 (00:00):

LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn Jonas knocks with you here coming
up on this Tuesday edition. Yes, the band is back
and we're gonna talk about the National Championship Game. I mean,
was anybody watching? I mean, were we surprised? What were
we actually expecting from Yukon in San Diego State on
a Monday at close to ten pm Eastern time. We'll

(00:21):
get into all that for you. Plus, we've got a
ton of draft conversation in the NFL, rumors, speculation, some
bogus stuff that's out there, a potential O. B. J.
Landing spot, and it could have a lot to do
with one quarterback who's been in the news recently. Plus
we're gonna have another edition of in case you missed it.
We've got yinna out and we've got the usuals. It's
all yours coming up next here, Two Pros and a

(00:42):
Cup of Joe on a Tuesday, Fox Sports Radio. You're
listening to Fox Sports Radio, row Oh yeah, oh yeah, yeah,
just fired up? Come on, Yeah, we're back. It is

(01:04):

should be. How the hell we feel in here on
a Tuesday morning? Good? Yeah, you guys missed you guys? Yeah,
you did it. A lot of you didn't. A lot

(01:47):
of accusations. Apparently we're being thrown around there. All right,
that's all the show. I'm just saying a lot of
a lot of stuff out there, you know, capin plants there. Yeah,
I mean, who from this is odd? Here's what I
want our audience to understand. Okay, we give each other
a hard time. We busted each other's balls as as
Jonas would say. What doesn't make any sense to me

(02:10):
is if you work with someone and you took off
a Friday and a Monday, you think the weekend you'd
take off as well, wouldn't you, LaVar. Wouldn't that be
the thought behind all of it? I mean, but yeah, okay,
but it was odd because Jonas actually worked Saturday even
though he took off Friday and Monday. I mean, why

(02:31):
is that, Jonas? Well, you can't. I mean, nobody wants
to lose the main event, do they. I mean, like,
you got to show up for the main event, so
I mean clearly to make sure that that jk ass
was was still running and you know, wasn't comfortable leaving
it in the hands of anybody else, and so we
had to just continue on. Honest, hey, you do you
do know what this means? Right? Yes? Well, I meant

(02:51):
we sounded pretty good, just you and I Leavar. Maybe
we're gonna allow Jonas to focus on Jaks on Saturday,
So maybe he's going to eventually allow student focus in
on me and you doing the show. It was okay, well,
I'm just saying, you know, but truth be told, I
was actually in town, so that was Friday. There were
stuff going on. Monday there were stuff going on. Yeah.

(03:13):
So it was kind of a kind of a weird
weekend with a bunch of show. Yes, yes, I was
Friday was my son's birthday and so we had a
bunch of stuff going on. Yeah, and then Saturday came around.
But listen, you know it was Saturday. What right, main event?
I mean, I get, I don't know what to tell you,

(03:33):
just the main event was there and they needed something
filled in. So I'm talking about what were your topics?
What were your subjects? I mean a lot of NFL
big NFL guy here, football guys. Somebody call me, yeah,
big football guy. Uh. Didn't happen to venture into any
of the previewing of the Final four because obviously that
took place before the Final four, which you know culminated

(03:54):
last night and the cutting down of the nets for
yukon who's your National Champion? To ling every single opponent
along the way in double digits. There have been a
more dominant performance, no like numbers wise, because they listed off.
The last time it happened, it was twenty eighteen. Villanova

(04:14):
did it. Then it was North Carolina back in two
thousand and nine. I think they were. They were the
first to win it all six tournament games, about thirteen
plus points. That's the first team to do it. Yeah,
we've never seen a team do what they've done and
how they've done it. I mean, I'll be honest with you.
I was watching the score got to fifty six to
fifty and I was like, Okay, let's see what happens here.

(04:35):
That was with eight minutes left in the second half.
San Diego States scored nine points the rest of the way.
Are you saying they had a hard time finding the
hoop like those? Yeah? Not the most ideal championship game.
I was just hoping that we were going to get
a really good game, much like San Diego State FAEU, which,
by the way, apologies Brady Quinn. I know you are

(04:56):
an owl, a hoodie who through and through with FAU
That was just just a heartbreaking finish for that for
that program. And then you get San Diego State last night,
who I just couldn't find a bass. Could I be
awesome with you guys? Man? I was. I was so
fired up for it, and they led I want to

(05:18):
say almost, I don't know. It was eighty percent of
the game. I mean, they were really in control and
down the stretch I was watching, I'm like, oh, gosh, okay,
we just need to try to get a foul. Get
to the foul. Why don't I saying we I didn't
even go there, fa, You just need to try to
get a foul, get to the free throw line, because
they were in the bonus at that point. And once
that shot was blocked, I just I literally put my

(05:41):
hands on my knees and I bent over. And my
daughters were watching because they were rooting for him. They're
like doing the whole who do you know? All that?
And as they watched the shot go in, they looked
at me and I just put my hands on my
face and I was just like I just walked away,
and they go, Daddy, what's wrong. I'm like, I was like,
after you lost. The team we were rooting for lost
and they're like, oh, well, it's okay, daddy, and I

(06:02):
was just like, no, it's not okay. They will never
be back here ever again. I was like, this was
their shot. There was their chance to get to a
national championship in the NCAA tournament. And look, I'm not
saying this to be disparaging on FAU. It's just so
hard for a school that's not a Power five, not
one of the blue bloods, to be able to consistently

(06:25):
make it in. It was the first and probably will
be the last time, even though FAUS looking at really,
you know, putting more of the resources back in the
basketball program. It's just it's so hard to get there
for a program like that. Yeah, I also wonder just
that program because a lot of people point to Butler
when Butler went back to back final fours, but the

(06:47):
likeli to your point of that ever happening again is
just such a long shot. And then you got to
wonder about just that coach because Shaka Smart took a
team to a you know, I went on a deep
tournament run. Yeah, and then all of a sudden he
was getting poached by Texas. Now he's at Marquette. So
you just wonder, you know, Dusty May and those guys
at FAU. Just a heartbreaking situation. When that shot, when

(07:09):
that shot left UH for San Diego State at the
end of that game, there was no doubt in my
mind that shot was going in. It just had the vibe.
It's just the whole look the feeling and just the
picture look way frantic getting there though, didn't it. It
was kind of frantic, like, God, he's a little bit rushed.
He doesn't he wasn't sure if he wanted to pass

(07:31):
or it didn't look like he was committed to shooting
it like it did. But it worked out. I'd be
did you work out for him? It's a fun game.
And then and then Yukon stepped in and again and
showed him a blue blood? Yeah, double digits, double digits.
So are we saying are we saying that Yukon is back?
Are you saying that that all of a sudden it

(07:53):
is a blue blood? They were dominant, best team in
the tournament by far, not even close. Well blue blood
it meaning that that's historical, right, Yeah, what we consider
Yukon a historical I mean this is their fifth fifth title, right, yeah,
but they nobody expected him to do this. But I'm
saying you would consider that to be a booboo? Yeah, okay, yeah,

(08:15):
that's one of the ones. Yeah, I mean I would
sit with Dan Hurley as their coach. Whoop. By the way,
I absolutely love he's awesome. I Mean, if you guys
didn't see some of the quotes from his like pregame
pressor he basically stated that the San Diego State was
older than five NBA teams. They're starting five. He was
talking about how easy his job is because he's got

(08:36):
three NBA players on his roster. He's just I mean,
he literally lays it all out there, just shoots. He's
a straight shooter. Um doesn't mess around. And it's so
refreshing when you get a personality like Dan Hurley and
like any of the Hurlies. I think anyone who's talked
to them you get a sense of all that. But
I'm excited for him. I'm excited for obviously Yukon to

(08:58):
be back on top of them the men's basketball world,
which I should just say basketball world in general, because
the women's has always been, you know, right in the
mix too. Yeah, it's also nice to see he was
the Hurley that didn't get a lot of the fanfare
and attention because his older brother was the national champion
lottery play Danny Bobby Hurley. And so now Danny Hurley

(09:19):
has got his own national championship. How about that just
goes all the way back to Seaton Hall. I remember
him at Sea yeah, when he was playing there. So yeah,
now you've got a national champion in Yukon. I just
I'm fascinated to see what the numbers are going to
be as far as the ratings and the views on
this because man on Man tickets were readily available if

(09:41):
you wanted him right up until tip off. I mean,
I'll ask this. Does it didn't even beat the women's
the women's at almost ten million viewers, I don't think so.
I mean, I'll be curious. I hate the Monday night
game anyway, and the fact that we have to put
it at nine pm Eastern. I do think there's a
bunch of people in East Coast or like, what are
we doing? And I know we want to imagine. Well

(10:04):
that's the thing is they want to get the West
Coast audience like that's the reality. But you guys in
the West Coast be able to have them tune in? Yeah, yeah,
I mean, what was it? What are the other what
would you rather put it on a Sunday? Just roll
it out in the evening. It's tough because this time
is still the same thing. Yeah, you're still facing the

(10:25):
same day. I think you could do it earlier if
you do on a Sunday, which would be nice it
was for viewership. Yeah, Oh, I don't know why we
can't highlight men's and women's the same day. Like, you know,
you look at what the women's were able to do,
and I think you could put the men's after, so
you could have like a two o'clock start and a
four you know or excuse me, yeah, like a five o'clock,
six o'clock start on a Sunday and they could roll

(10:47):
into one another. Like to me, that would be really
really neat if you're looking at trying to and I
know some people might say, well, we want to highlight
the women's for the women's sport, the men's for the men's,
but I think it'd be cool if you know, you
and having a national championship venue where like two championships
are being played in that venue. To me, it'd be
pretty sweet. Yeah. I think the Women's Final Four with
all the storylines and Caitlyn Clark and what she did

(11:11):
was just pretty much Caitlyn Clark. Yeah. I feel like
we've never seen any sort of viewership like this, and
so Calyn Clark was involved in as good as she is.
I mean, we talked about it. Last week they were
getting twelve and a half points against South Carolina just
you know, she's gonna put up like three hundred shots
in that game if she just gets a little bit

(11:32):
hot or goes on a streak. That seemed like it
was a pretty solid bet. But unfortunately they came up
short in the national championship games, and they get a
bunch of other storylines that are out there that well,
you know, there's trash talk and she did that you
can't see me, and then it got done to her,
and so now there's this double standard. It's like, we
can't just enjoy good basketball with fun storylines that somebody's

(11:54):
got to turn it into some some argument about you know,
what does this mean? Is there is this racially motivated
some of these It's just there's always something that's got
to steer away from the topic in hand. Which was
a great event for women's college basketball. They should be
really really excited about it. The numbers probably did better
than the men's but unfortunately now we just get caught
up in the weeds with some of the other craft

(12:14):
that goes on. It's unfortunate. You know, just gamble and
watch sports. It's that simple. And don't get too and
knock on anything else. Yes, or two this was a
competitive game. Yeah, two top players, you know, for two
big programs. Shouts out to the Big ten, you know,
for representing us. Yeah right. You know, it is unfortunate

(12:39):
that people create things to choose sides. You know, it's
like what just happened to just okay, I disagree with
the way it was handled, and that's it. Yeah, you know,
go figure right, we got to have an all out
racial like war and sue you know, every body is

(13:00):
fighting for equal rights and liberties. And it's like, you know,
can't you just disagree with the way you felt she
handled it if you fell on that side of it, like,
you know what, I didn't like the way she handled it? Done?
Moving on, like congratulations, just just didn't like that bad look? Okay, great?

(13:23):
Or I didn't care, or I love her, I think
she's dope, what like whatever. It's just it's so crazy
to me how this stuff is so flipping manufactured. It's
just so manufactured. And then here come the social media
thumpers that come out of there, you know, come out

(13:45):
of wherever they're at, and I have to be the
authority on speaking on racial relations as it applies to
black athletes and different things like that. And I'm an expert,
you know, did you see what I can't join us,
like can't happen to be so Yeah, by default, Brady
and I have to take Caitlyn Clark side on this.

(14:07):
It's amazing to me. It's amazing to me how certain
people just pop up immediately when there is a an
issue connected to sports and and black and and and
and when it turns uncomfortable. It's just strange to me, man.
And you know, you're not even American, like you're not

(14:27):
even like you're like first generation or something like that.
And it's like people want to be authorities and I
don't know, man, it's just strange to me, like all manufactured.
I'll say this quickly about the whole situation, man, America.
I know we started. I know, I get. I'm not
going down that road. I mean I don't go down

(14:48):
roads either. I just call it. If you're Caitlin Clark, Look,
you have to be responsible for the things that you do, right,
Like you have to be accountable for like all right,
if you do this, look when you lose one might
do it back in front of you right. Or the
thing that I thought was the funniest was when she
decided to not go out on the girl who was

(15:08):
sitting at the three point line. I believe that wasn't
what the South Carolina Yeah, And I'm sitting to myself going, dude,
I've done that in pickup game is forever because I'm
thinking to myself, I'm not going to have you beat
me to the bucket. To me, that's way more demoralizing
than seeing if you can shoot an open three. That's
not disrespectful. What's disrespectful is a young girl or a

(15:30):
young man who has a wide open three that has
no confidence and being able to shoot that shot like
they didn't want to come out and guard you. Go
and make that shot. But ultimately, look, if if you
make a gesture, I don't care if it's to your
own bench, which was what Caitlin Clark was doing in
the Louisville game. Even if you do that, you have
to be understanding like people are gonna do it back

(15:51):
against you. People remember Johnny Manzel on the whole money sign. Yeah,
when they lost, do you not think people went back
and did that right in the space happened to the time. So, yeah,
what was the bullet from the Bosa didn't forget and
did it in a pro game, pro game? That's right, Yeah,
he did it back to him in a pro game

(16:11):
a Baker Mayfield. He posted did it back to Baker
because the flag planning, which, yeah, I'm not going to
go down that. But the other side of this is
when you lose, you can't control how the other team
chooses to celebrate. That's just part of sports. Like if
you're looking for them to celebrate with good sportsmanship or
act the right way or act how you want them

(16:33):
to act, No, you're a loser. You don't get to choose,
like that's how it works. Like, the bottom line is
Caitlyn Clark, it was the best player in college basketball.
There's no doubt about it. This is really only a
story because Reese decided to do it to Caitlyn Clark.
If she did it to any other Iowa basketball player,
we wouldn't be having this conversation. But the reality is

(16:54):
she did it to the best girl who did it
earlier and then made a big deal about it, so
now we're talking about it. But the truth is Elsie
was the best team. Caitlyn Clark's the best player. And
that's the only reason we're talking about it is because
it happened to be something a gesture that was done
to the best player. Otherwise one with white, one was black.
Oh yeah, but I bet again, if Esta does that

(17:16):
to any other player in Iowa, you're not hearing us
talk about it. Yes, you know. I'm just saying they
had to do with Kit Clark, If Caitlyn or the
other young lady were if there, if the racial differences
weren't there, I don't even think it's a story. If
it's two black people, it's not a story two white
I think it's If it's even not even on Calen Clark,

(17:38):
it's not a story because because no one's gonna focus
on any of the other Iowa players. And no disrespect
to the other Iowa players. That girl carries one. Yeah
she's she's the one. That's why they're just high viewership.
It was a perfect storm. You had the best player
in college basketball I would I would argue, most exciting
player men's or women's over the past a couple of

(17:59):
weeks especially, and then you also had the the black
white dynamic, and to Levar's point, the usual suspects popped
up out of nowhere, pop up. They all like the
saw I heard somebody make this comparison one time. It's
called like the social outrage pod. When there's like some
sort of an issue or something like that, it's almost
like an alarm goes off and they wake up out

(18:21):
of their pods and they just start looking for stuff
to complain about, Like God, I think we got something here,
And that's exactly what this was. Like. People just see
Jackson and now Sharpton and guys like that in the past,
Like you ever noticed, like the minute there's something that's
just horribly wrong. Boom. You know how bad it is
when you see Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, Right, that's

(18:42):
like some of these dudes that's coming out and on
these social media handles and these feeds like acting like
they're experts on race relations as it applies to sports,
white people, black people, and other like like please man,
save the drama for your mama because we don't need it.
Like it just it just blows me away and then

(19:04):
everybody just eats it up. Well she did it in
another game. There was no need for justification, qualification or disqualification.
There was no need for any of it, none of it.
Just if you liked it, you liked it. If you didn't,
you didn't. Bottom line like that, it just shouldn't have
been any bigger than that, Like it took away from

(19:25):
the game. It became the storyline of the game, and
it took away from a really really good game. Man,
Like that was like a historical game, you know, in
the matches, points score, I mean else you kind of
kick their ass. So yeah, but but historical in the
sense that you're talking about two big, big time players
that are are going to go head ahead against each other.

(19:46):
Angel is like the number two player coming out when
she came out of high school. So it's like, you
have you had a serious matchup in terms of the
type of caliber of player as well as as the
Blieber coaching, as well as the caliber of teams. So
it just I feel like these are storylines that could

(20:06):
have been discussed and talked about, but they got replaced with, Well,
she did it in another game, so it was just
it was right for it to happen to her in
this game if it did. Like, no, I don't buy that.
I don't buy that. For two seconds, like you didn't
have the moment you decided to justify, you became a

(20:27):
part of the problem. On God, you became a part
of the problem the moment you started to justify it.

of Joe, Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas
Knox for the year. You can listen to this show
is always on the iHeartRadio app Coming up in a
little over fifteen minutes from now from the tirerack dot
Com studios, we are going to talk about two big
time players joining forces. Joining forces. It's the first. Yeah,

(21:35):
that's that's what I heard. Uh, let's call it two pros.
By the way, a cup of Joe. Yeah, some uh,
some burner accounts you guys are putting together. I see
there's a whole lot of them that popped up. I'll
tell you that your calves. Yeah, I love the popped
up the top was my favorite, the neat doppler up. Yeah,
are you that there? Are you not convinced that it's

(21:56):
not me doing these like that? There's a I don't
want to be convinced. Oh my god, this is just
conced by the way they're like, No, I'm not convinced.
And here's the fact that Jonas brought it up, which
only makes them seem more culpable for this. Yeah, what
the calf? Oh my gosh, did you see all of
those about yourself? No, I wouldn't definitely not. Yeah, no,

(22:22):
I would not do that. Yeah, that's the best cover.
That is the best cover. Yeah, yeah, that's not it's
not caffine plants. I get these tweets from people going
calfine plants. Good luck with that. I'm thinking, what what
are they taught? Oh? I see what happened? Uh those
guys having fun behind my back at my expose, because

(22:43):
it's never happened when anyone else's miss. No, I would
never do that, like when whenever you guys are gone.
LaVar and I were saying, listen, you know we're talking
glowingly about you. This is his time away. You know,
we would never go out and say what you know,
pds uh, you know, suspended for that? Have been me
saying that Q was out, you know, just he's having

(23:05):
some time to to, you know, have time. We were
both saying that. Yeah yeah, well we weren't both saying
but I know that's what I was saying, you know, like,
why is the first thing that everyone says have to
be something negative? You know. It's like and it's so
funny because my kids, my kids correct me on the
way I say negative. But you know it's all right.

(23:26):
I make the tea, I don't use the T negative.
I just leave that T right on out convenient negative,
like I say it with like a D. Yeah. I
say it with like a D negative. Yeah. And I
don't know, I think that I think I developed that
in trash talking, to be honest, like that's a negative,
you know, I don't know. But anyway, Uh, it doesn't

(23:49):
have to always be a bad thing. You know when
when you meet miss work like it's so funny, like
I got all kinds of mboxes, is everything okay? I
was like, what what do you mean Jonas missed? Then
you guys that no one was on Monday, Like, well,

(24:11):
we'll be back. Yeah, that's all I said. I don't tell.
I don't give the specific day. I do respond shouts
out to all of our listeners. What's that you're like
the terminator? Why do you say that? Walk? And by
the way, during the holidays, there were a lot of
people that took off, like you know, full weeks in
our business to be with their family and do all

(24:33):
that and all that is there or even post super Bowl,
you know, I noticed that people take their their blows
like post super Bowl, like we just kind of, you know,
we just truck along, man, just I think people kind
of take for granted that, you know, we do have
lives outside of doing the radio show. You know, I'm
sure more people, you know, because everybody chooses sides, you know,

(24:55):
like in this culture, American culture is choose a side. Yeah,
I'm sure people are like, Olivar's going on, it's great,
it's wonderful. Let's just keep it the same. Then when
when Jonas is out, it's like, what happened? When Brady's out,
It's like, oh no, be rooty for Killy Clarks. Yeah,

(25:17):
they were. They were outraged by how the people. How
did those people sound? If you had to do it
a great believe that girl. Can you imagine how classless
that was? Oh my gosh, that was insulting, Kelly when
you make it, don't you ever do that? Don't you

(25:37):
ever behave that way? Okay o, man um, that's horrible.
It's great to it's great. Everybody's back here and uh,
you know, just being able to rediscover ourselves together here. Yeah.
And by the way, at the end of your first year,
discover credit cards automatically double all the cash back you've burned.
That's right, everything you've burned doubled. Seriously, see terms and

(25:58):
check it out for yourself and just up dot com
forward slash Match. Speaking of transition, By the way, there
was one theory brought about that you were paying up
at an old debt that you owed. Oh yeah, that
that did come up. Okay, yeah, the touch you might
come back as what what was her name, jo Jo?
What is it Janice? Probably Janie. It's not that far off,

(26:20):
you know. So yeah, there's uh, who knows, maybe one
day I'll pay that. I'm not gonna say floated theory
out there, but it was not us. Yeah, I'm sure
it was not far Yeah, nobody's got anything to do
with any of that stuff. I can see that. I
did not say anything, but yeah, that's uh yeah. Burto
happens to be a big fan of Oh you brought

(26:41):
that up. Yeah, that just threw him out there. Huh. Well,
I'm just saying. I mean that we know Burtos, the
guy who kind of reminds everybody that I happened to
possibly make a bet on the air about something like that.
I don't be sinking, Matt, So I don't even know
what you're talking about. What shots out to Burto? Yeah? Yeah, Hey,
by the way, tire. Drew Rosenhouse, the agent for Jalen Carter,

(27:05):
so Jalen Carter had his second meeting with the Bears.
He also met with the Eagles, and Drew Rosenhouse told
Adam Schefter of ESPN that Carter's declining visits with any
team's drafting outside of the top ten in the draft
later this month because quote, I'm confident Jalen will go
in the top ten. He's a good person, a family man,
loves football, and is a generational talent. How you feel

(27:28):
about that, Q, I feel like he's a generational talent.
The rest of the stuff the recent has been up
for debate. Here's the thing. I have a hard time
with the way people categorize a lot of guys who
are in college. It's like, look, there's as much as
we should expect a lot out of them, they're still

(27:49):
young men. They're gonna make mistakes, they're gonna be immature,
and I think there's points in time where you can
kind of break down some of the decision making and go, okay,
like this is just a dumb mistake. This some novels, thoughtless,
you know, whatever the case may be. He's you know,
because of the one incident, which obviously a tragedy occurred
from that, everyone's all of a sudden put a label

(28:12):
on him and the teams have no more information and
have more information about him than I do. But I'm
just not the person who's gonna vilify a kid without
really knowing much. So I look at the whole Rose
and Out strategy and I'm like, wait a second, So
there's not a chance a team might trade up for him?
Like did we not think about like saying that publicly

(28:32):
and how that looks Like, Okay, you only want to
meet with teams in the top ten. What if a
top ten team wants to trade up and take Jaylan Carter? Yeah,
don't you think it's maybe wise to have him meet
with some of those teams that could potentially do that.
So I don't know, maybe he just, you know, didn't
think about exactly how he was saying what he was saying.
But to me, he's a top ten talent. I think

(28:53):
he'll still go top ten. But that doesn't A team
outside the top ten wouldn't see him there at nine
and say, okay, I try to trip and take them there?
What was the saying the same people you see going
up or the same people you see going down. Like
my whole thing is even if you're going to go
top ten, If if a team is inviting you to interview,

(29:15):
you not only for the possibilities of them trading, but
it's still a job interview the coaches that are on
that staff. They may be in very different positions three
four years from now, the GM may be in a
different position from from from that point the player. You

(29:37):
the player may be in a very different situation three
four years down the line. And you know what they're
going to remember, Oh, you didn't even want to take
the time to come and meet with us. And and
it's more so about in this case, to me, it's
more or so about the professionalism of how you go
about your your business like top ten, Like come on, man,

(30:01):
I want anybody who called me I was, I'll be there.
I'll be there, and I'm gonna show you I know
how to get on this grease board. I'm gonna show
you that I can integrate into your community and bring
value that way. I'm gonna shake your hand, I'm gonna
look you in your eyes. I'm gonna yes, I was
a yes sir, no sir person back then. I don't

(30:23):
really do that anymore. I want to do the yes
sir unless I'm talking to military. But I was a
yes sir, no sir person back then, and and that
was that was the approach. You know, don't don't waste
your opportunities. And to me, that just sets a he's
setting a very very dangerous precedence for himself coming into

(30:44):
the league because you know what's going to happen. There's already,
like you said, you don't want to vilify him, there's
already this feeling that that the media is going to
take a villain type of angle as it applies to
Jaln Carter, which means that he's going to have to
be on his p's and queues on doing things right

(31:04):
because anything that comes across remotely as incorrect, like could
be mis misconstrued or misinterpreted, they're going to air on
the side of negativity. And he's creating that that lane
for that to be the narrative that develops on him. Yeah,

(31:24):
so we get to see how this stuff plays out.
There's a good chance also Seattle sitting at five. Maybe
it doesn't even make it out of the top five,
but yeah, probably not not the best look. But at least,
you know, he only showed up nine pounds have yet
at his pro day workout and wasn't able to finish
his workouts though, So at least there's that. But Drew
Rosenhaus's point, family man, loves football and a generational talent. Also,

(31:48):
he's a good person. So I just want to make
that clear for anybody else is wondering what his agent
thought about him. Yeah, I mean is this surprising? Like,
is this a breaking story? Do you think an agent
who's being paid a percentage horrible not only on the
the endorsements, et cetera, but also obviously it's a little
bit of a shady guy, you know this Toole Carter,
I'm just saying anything else. It's Two Pros and a

our executive producer Lead Lapp. Guys, it's good to be here.
Good morning to you. Good morning, Brady, morning, LaVar, Good morning, Jonas,

(34:02):
Hey Lee, morning, Hey guys, Hey guys. In case there
it is, WWE and UFC will merge to create a
twenty one point four billion sports and entertainment company. Endeavor
Group Holding, who owns UFC, which was valued at twelve
point one billion, acquired a fifty one percent stake in WWE,
which was valued at nine point three billion, therefore adding

(34:26):
up to that twenty one point four guys. Vincent McMahon,
who purchased WWF in nineteen eighty two, purchased it from
his dad for one million dollars. He'll still serve as
executive chairman, and Dana White will continue to serve as
president of the UFC. Wow nine point something billion dollars
for WWE, and they've got their media rights deals are

(34:46):
coming up I think next year, so going to be
a lot of bidding on that is there. Well, I
think people are looking at the it's going to be
they can't do streaming because it's live. Then they really
want to promote the live product. Um, okay, hold on,
but why couldn't a streaming platform. Well, I think that
they if they wanted to go Thursday Night. Yeah, that's true.

(35:09):
I guess you could do Amazon. Um. I was thinking
more like some people throughout Netflix before I saw that
thrown out there, and I don't think they could transition
into going live. Yeah. The only problem with that is
that doesn't like at least not now. That's not Netflix
business doesn't. Yeah, it doesn't fit their core competence. They
all have that exclusive original content, but they might need

(35:32):
to in order to compete with a light. Yeah, and
I know it's the deal with Fox. They do SmackDown.
That comes up next year, right, I think it's twenty
twenty four is when that one's up as well too.
I mean, you watch this more than any of us.
Tell me, you are sit in front row with a
legion of Doom shirt on watching I went to one
match Man it's not you know, the lasting memory. Come on,

(35:56):
Laronitis and and hawk word here together. Huh. Yeah, that's crazy.
That's a nice, nice unit right there. Who was a
third one? It was a third one too, wasn't there? Yeah?
At least my T shirt says so, I don't know,
not familiar with bunny. Did you see that? I post
I saw the elephant yesterday? Yeah? I did. Yeah, definitely.

(36:16):
What is it playing jump rope? I've never seen anything
like that in my life. Yeah, haven't. I was. You've
seen a lot of stuff, and Casha, I missed it.
That's something I've never seen. I'll tell you that. Yeah, yeah,
that is not not not suitable for morning drive. And
assuming you know, maybe I don't know where, maybe it

(36:38):
is next time here at the zoo. You'll probably see
what we're talking about, all right, Maybe I don't know.
You just never guys, chuck this up to miscommunication. Fans
were treated just being Brewers. Fans were treated to a
flyover and fireworks for their home opener against the Mets.
Problem being they left the stadium roof closed, so they
missed a flyover and the fireworks were inside the dome.

(37:01):
So good job there, Oh, my gosh, how's that happened? Well?
What was the temperature like, what was the weather like?
It looked like clear skies to me. I don't know.
I don't know why that it was closed. That was
one person that made that mistake. All right, how long
does it take to close the roof? Couldn't you open
it just for the flyover and then close it right afterwards? Yeah,

(37:24):
as fast as these games are going, though, it might
it might take too about the third ending. Yeah, that
is a fair point. This whole pitch clock has kind
of you know, things up pretty quick here for these teams.
But my buddy went down to see opening day game
between the Mets and Marlins, and obviously Miami traffic is
just atrocious. It's awful, and I blame it all the
people who've moved in. It's terrible. That that being said, Um,

(37:47):
he got there and he's like, yeah, I figured I'll
still make it. You know, if they get the kids
the first pitch, you know, wheels all excited, and he
goes it's the third ending. He guess. We got there
the third eddying. It took us two hours. They left
literally with it was like an hour to spirit thinking now,
I won't take them that long to you know, find
a place to park and get down there and it
literally they get in there for the third inning. That's

(38:07):
how fast games are moving. Yeah, I just like it. Yeah.
I think a lot of people were thought that they
were going to change the way baseball is played, and
it's going to change, you know, the what we've grown
used to when it comes to baseball. You just cut
out a bunch of garbage, like the picture having to
constantly take a step off the mound, you know, grab
the robs and bag for the fourth time during it

(38:28):
at bat and it just it just speeds everything up.
And that's what baseball is trying to do. It more
watchable man to like someone like me, who I'll watch
it if it doesn't drag if it if it moves,
if you find a pace, I'll watch. You know, if
it's if it's dragging out, I'm not going to watch.
So makes it more viewable, yeah, I like it got

(38:49):
to be more strategic with all the booze you take
in during those games as well, That is true. I
mean it's almost like a power hour. Yeah, since you
got to find a pace too, Yeah, gotta make sure
they did, like the bath. It's about the booze. My understanding.
