fan as well. All right, juts GM As I just mentioned,

claims from well a New York Jets Gang Green uh

(03:21):
affiliate employee. But we're gonna start with Tiger Woods. But
before we start with Tiger Woods, you know, I always
got to start off the show by asking how my
boys is doing. And it's just stretch right now. But
nonetheless it's all the way one hundred percent smooth, So
uh Stretch up. How are you feeling today? Man? How

(03:41):
how's everything going for you? Hey? Man? I'm blessing Holly favor. Man,
I'm just hanging out on this beautiful Saturday the morning. Um,
just just happy, man, just excited. You just have them,
just happy man them My son, you know, went up
to Syracuse like on this his visit this weekend. So

(04:02):
just excited for his process and everything that's in front
of him. Man. And just you know, I'm happy, man,
I really was up. I mean, let me let me
add to that bag of happy. My daughter, my oldest
dollar daughter, Marley, she just got offered from from Loola
Marymont University. And if you're a big basketball fan and

(04:23):
a big basketball enthusiast, you know that that is the
bo Kimball Hain't Gathers school, uh LB. So that was
that was pretty exciting. And then on the same day, coincidentally,
uh man, man, which little LaVar h the second got
his first offer from Oregon State, which will be interesting

(04:44):
to hear from TJ's response on that one. So, uh yeah,
build the damn shots out to them for believing them. Yeah, man,
it's pretty cool. Man. I ain't gonna lie. So I'm
right there with you on being happy and speaking of
being ha be plex. You like the golf course, and man,
that's what I do your boy, Tiger Woods, which I

(05:07):
said safe back would have been to go against Tiger
Woods making the cut, you and everybody else. But nonetheless,
he still continues and persists to be the biggest storyline
connected to the PGA. He makes the cut. What does
this mean for golf? I mean, clearly it's going to

(05:29):
be good for ratings that he made the cut, right, Oh, absolutely, man,
just like Floyd Floyd Mayweather says all the time, I
am boxing and Tiger Woods is golf man. He's just
moves the needle no matter what he's doing, how well
he's playing, if he's not playing well. But the fact
that he can go out here and make the cut

(05:51):
for these fifty fifty best players in the world, Um,
you know what, you judge greatness not on how great
and champions they are in the past. You judge him
in greatness when they continue to be great. And I
think that's one of the things about Tiger making his
twenty third consecutive Master's cut, like the second or third

(06:14):
of all time behind Gary Player and Fred Couples. And
there are people out there that would not bet that
Tiger Boys would have made the cut. Obviously he has
something because Justin Thomas, I think he boge seventeen and
eighteen and he ended up going six over part on
his last eight holes. So Tiger was able to you know,

(06:36):
to be able to squeeze in and Tiger bogus seventeen
and eighteen yesterday. But moving forward, it's all about making
the cut. And Mike Timmy always used to say, the
first job in winning is that you gotta show up.
You can't win if you're not available. And he's available

(06:57):
for us to see for the rest of the weekend
on Easter weekend. Kudos to him. And the man is
basically limping around on two broken legs. Jeez, you're talking
about inspiration. There are a lot of people out there
that said Tiger Woods will never play again. If you
understand his man tattle and his championship pedigree and what
he's made up. He still continues to get out there, practice,

(07:20):
get better, and play with that chip on his shoulder
and just continues to prove everybody wrong. So Tiger, my man, congrats,
go out there, hand to your business. Uh bo, is
he made the cut being tied for forty ninth? Is
that correct? I could be wrong, but I think it's
it's what you you you're taking in. Uh, I don't know,

(07:43):
but but I do believe he's tied for forty ninth. Uh,
that's a long way from number one. Just like, here's
my like, here's my question. If you had a guy,
all right, let's take Tom Brady and Tom Brady is

(08:05):
he barely qualifies for the playoffs with his team? And
I know this could be a whole horrible kind of example,
but I'm just trying to get a feel for it
because I am not a golf fan at all. But
if Tom Brady he's the goat, he qualifies for the playoffs,
is he the biggest story in the playoffs if he

(08:27):
were to qualify for the playoffs? Or are you looking
at that number one seed and saying, this guy that's
the number one seed for this team, or this guy
that is on this number two seed, or this guy
that's on this number three seed, that is the bigger storyline?
I mean, you got you have some pretty big names.
I couldn't I couldn't imagine. Listen, I I know a

(08:48):
tat bit about golf. Like so brooks Kepca, I believe
is still at the top of the leader board, which
which is interesting because you know, I wouldn't have assumed
that he would have been the top of the leaderboard.
There would have been a few other names that, you know,
you throw out there, and you'd say that you would assume,
you would assume or expect that they would be the
ones that are leading um. And the reason why I

(09:11):
know who brooks Kepca is is because everybody always says
he's like a linebacker playing playing golf, which I mean,
he's he's a big dude for a golfer, but by
no means is he a linebacker playing golf. Yeah, we'd
slap him down, chip chip them teeth right on up
if he's dealing with some of some real lbs and
some linemen out there in serengetti. But but nonetheless, and

(09:32):
by golf terms, he is considered to be a linebacker
playing golf. He's number one. Why isn't this a bigger story?
Why is it that that a guy like Tiger Woods
walking on what you say, three jacked up legs, A
three jacked up leg all three legs is jacked up?

(09:53):
How is this man the biggest story? Uh? And the
PGA you have to understand his man's legacy. You have
all these players, Roy McElroy, Justin Thomas, you know, John
Rum and Brooks Kepka. They are the reason Tiger reasons
Tiger was is the reason why these guys are playing golf.

(10:16):
You have to understand that. And these guys are still
in all every time they get a chance to be
around Tiger and you know, pair with them, play golf
with him, and they are just they're Tiger fans. But
just like he was saying a while ago about the
whole Tom Brady thing, was not Tom Brady the biggest
storyline when he left the New England Patrins to go

(10:38):
to Tampa Bay and they were not the number one
seed and he continued to win playoffs game and ultimately
win the Super Bowl. It's the same kind of thing.
He doesn't have to be in first place. The fact
that this man drove his call off a cliff, got
two broken legs, been through everything that he's been through,
He's living all around the off course and still able

(11:02):
to compete at his age with who they say are
some of the best players in the world. Plex Is
it is it brilliance of how well he plays, or
is it the lack of of talent or the you know,
I don't know, it's not It's not a lack of
talent at all, because when you're not doing the golf course,

(11:22):
it's it's a mental game between yourself, the game, and
the course. And he has learned over the years how
to compartmentalize that mental part of the game is just
stay focused on the task in hand. Now, if you're
if you're that fiftieth player, if you're those guys under
the fifty guys that didn't make the cut, you're saying

(11:45):
to yourself that WI some trash, I'm losing to an old,
banged up Tiger Woods. Exactly. It's demoralizing. I mean, you
got you playing on how how you gonna be? So
that is one of the reasons why Tiger is the
main storyline going into the Tiger's legs have been busy, man,

(12:08):
They've been overused, they've been used and abused, man, but
they still work. And I guess well enough for him
to make the cut. So all right, shots out the
Tiger Woods and all right, what would be what would
be your prediction? That's the one position? What what spot
does he finish? In? Black? Where you thinking what you
gotta think? I think Brookes Keppel is twelve on right

(12:28):
now minus twelve and Tiger is currently I believe at
plus three, So between those fifteen shots, he's in forty
ninth place. So I would say that a good round
today for Tiger in the weather. It's pouring down rain,
it's gonna be wetting, windy, which means if he is
gonna be hurting. Yeah, if he can just get to

(12:50):
even Paul, I would it would be a brilliant day
for him to go out and just shoot an even round.
Is it possible, yes, lightly, no, especially in this weather,
but I believe he can go out and get to
even Paul today. Hmm, all right, the Jets GM he

(13:11):
had some very very bold words for boomer size and
on stage in front of some loyal gain Green fans,
and well, everybody's talking about it. Everybody's heard the sound bites.
So on the other side of the break, we're gonna
play those sound and those sound bites and we're gonna
talk about what was said. You're listening to up on

(13:33):
game that stretch Armstrong, Plexico Birds, I'm LaVar Arrington's t J.
Hudsman's out of We're working to get him on hopefully
we'll get him on in the next segment. Yeah, this

know if it's all about holding your water until you
get it all the way finished or whatever it may be.
But he had a bold proclamation. He was with boomer

(15:41):
size and and here's what he had to say, Rogers,
he's gonna be here all right. I mean when a
GM put yeah, I mean you might get a lot

(16:04):
of you might get a lot of jet spelling if if,
if this goes through. Now for GM to come out
and publicly say we're gonna get it done, I mean, guys,
that's got I mean, it's all but finished the deal, right, correct?
I mean because otherwise you're giving Green Bay a lot

(16:25):
of negotiation power, a lot of negotiation leverage because you
just put it out there that he's coming, and he's
gonna be there without the deal being announced being done,
So you gotta assume it's finished, right, guys, I would
assume that Aaron Rodgers is going to be in New
York Jettis. It's just a matter of when, not if.

(16:48):
And for me, once this draft happens in Thursday, goes by,
which Thursday is the first round because now it's a
big spectacle, it's a big event Friday, I believe the
Packers have picked forty two and forty three or the Jets.
I'm sorry, one of those picks will be going to

(17:08):
the Packers for Aaron Rodgers. I'm not giving up both
of those picks. I don't know how many years Aaron
Rodgers is gonna play his age. I'm just we can
give up a conditional pick. But the Packers have moved
on and they say they won Jordan Love as their quarterback.
It's a matter of win. But I will say this,
when you go out publicly and you say those type
of things though he will be here, you better damn

(17:32):
sure make sure it happens because those fans will be
so disappointed if Aaron Rodgers isn't a New York Jet
come next season. But when you're the general manager and
you utter those type of words, you got a one
percent make it happen. I don't know what to believe.
I really don't. If Aaron Rodgers is coming and he's

(17:54):
on his way and the door, then why the hell
has it taken so long? That's what That's the question
that everybody wants to know. But I just have this
feeling that everybody's expecting for Aaron Rodgers to go to
the New York Jets and something that's going to happen
on Draft Day. And I would not be surprised if
one of these teams, one of these top teams that

(18:17):
have the one through twelve picks, though, something that the
green Bay Packers that they cannot refuse because this deal
with Aaron Rodgers between the Jets and the green Bay
Packers has not happened yet. So there's a great possibility
that the green Bay Packers may be willing to trade
their thirteenth pick to the to the green Bay Packers,

(18:38):
the Jets to the green Bay Packers for Aaron Rodgers
and some kind of package deal or whatever the case
may be. But there is also twelve teams that have
a draft choice before the New York Jets do. So
nothing is for sure moving forward with Aaron Rodgers joining
the New York Jets, because just like I said, you
may have one of these teams that can throw something

(19:01):
like Green Bay and say, you know what, we can't
turn this down. They don't care where Aaron Rodgers goes.
They just don't want him in the NFC North or
possibly in the NFC. They want to get as far
as the way they possibly can because they don't want
to have to deal with them unless they go to
both teams to go to the super Bowl. So I
don't know what to believe. And Jim can say anything

(19:23):
that he wants, but he has no control over those
top twelve teams that have a pick before the New
York Jets. You ever been in a situation where you
were in school there was a school dance and there
was the popular ones that got asked to the dance,
got the signs, and all kinds of different approaches to

(19:44):
asking how to go to the dance with them, and
this down another, and then there was always that those
ones that just nobody paid any attention to. But then
you have that one that one dude he pays attention
asked her to go to the dance where him, and
then people stop and they take a step and they
look and they're like, man, like, you know, that really

(20:06):
is a good looking, you know, good looking person like
every now everybody want why I ain't think to ask
her to go, like I'm I'm I'm looking at everybody
else like you know, but but you know what man like?
And then now I see him walking down the hallway
together and it's like, I'm gonna go, I'm gonna shoot
my shot. I almost feel like then then here's what

(20:30):
gets weird. You got that moment of truth right where
it's like, okay, man, the jets asked, asked Aaron Rodgers
to the dance, and everybody sees what's going on, the
courting that's going on. I got Aaron Rodgers, Like Aaron
Rodgers is going to the dance with me. But then
you got other people that's looking now and it's like, man,
I'm gonna shoot my shot because now I kind of,

(20:52):
for some strange reason, becomes more attractive to me. You
know why, Aaron Rodgers becomes more attractive to other teams.
And now you're hearing other teams bubble up like San
Francisco to be exactly, which I think would be a
possibly a way better destination for Aaron Rodgers than the
New York Jets. But the reason why I feel like

(21:12):
that these other teams are showing interest now is because
I don't think that Aaron Rodgers is going anywhere. If
I would say the biggest reason why I would have
trepidation towards Aaron Rodgers is because I did not feel
as though this man was all the way in to
wanting to play football anymore. Is mind is in too

(21:32):
many different places. But now I feel as though he
is in it. He wants to play. You can tell
he's aggressively wanting to get out of Green Bay and
go play for someone else. Why not me? So that
now that makes me feel like the dude that's out
there and said we're going to the dance together. We're
going to the dance together. Unless I see y'all in
the limo going to the dance together, I don't know how.

(21:57):
I don't know how. I don't know how much you're
putting on yourself by sitting there telling everybody that you
sealed the deal when we don't see you taking your
problem pictures. Yet we don't see you taking them dance
pictures yet. I almost feel like we gotta wait and see.
You gotta have the cassage on, you gotta have the
boot in there on. I need to see that y'all

(22:19):
going to the dance. Otherwise there's always de Sean and
I have seen this happen before, and people's hurt, the
feelings be mad, hurt, like really really really hurt when
you told everybody, told your teammates, told your homies, told
your friends and so and so. Change the mind, and
it's going to dance. The story is the Jets will

(22:39):
be dancing with Aaron Rodgers. Is that the moral of
the story. I think the moral of the story is
what Lava is getting to. What you're telling everybody who
you're going to the problem with, and then you go
to ask her and then she tells you, well, Bob
already asked me to go to the brother and you

(22:59):
told him Bob, Bob, Bobby, the Bobby them, back back
door Bobby them. Oh, no, back door Bob. That slid
in and the changed the whole tide, Like how did
it happen? I don't know how it happened, but it happened,
but you had told everybody that y'all was going to
the dance, and y'all ended up going to the dance.

(23:20):
I don't know, but this still makes it an interesting
conversation because it's not done yet and you're telling the
media and it's not done yet and in a limo. Yeah,
that's that's a long time ago. Come on the last time.
I don't though. Oh the party bust now, I don't know.
I'm just sad, you know. I was thinking back to

(23:41):
to my day to our day when we used to
you know, move around and then you being you know,
would be the most awkward. The most awkward is if
you end up in the limo with that person you
was supposed to go with on the date and they're
there with the other date and you got to sit
there and you gotta see it, and then they're all
happy and it's like, well, you like her until I

(24:03):
liked her. But anyways, I'm talking to y'all playing on
the same team like that, and y'all on the same team.
Y'are on the same limo, y'all on the same team.
You're supposed to be boys. It's like the movie She's
all that is exactly what you're talking. Oh man, don't
count your chickens. But until they hatch, that's all I'm saying.

(24:23):
Let's go to my man, Isaaclow and crawling on the
other side. We're gonna talk a little bit about Kyrie
and Maverick. But but let's hear it from our man
right now. What's what you got? I Low? Would any
of you like we had to pass a note to
someone after study hall on your behalf? You know what
I mean. You never wanted your notes to get intercepted either.
You know what I mean, right alout in front of
the class. Oh man, you don't want that. You do

(24:44):
not want intercepting of notes. You said authoritatively. We've got
authoritative talking right now. About Round three of the Masters.
It's back underway after they completed round two earlier this morning,
the under round two seeing Tiger Woods make the cut
out Augustapher the twenty third consecutive time he finished the
second round right at the plush three cut line. Brooks

(25:05):
Kepka end of the second round with a two shot
lead at twelve hundred par overall. Because John rom bogeed
eighteen to end his second round at ten under par overall, Kepka,
rom and Tiger. By the way, we'll all tee off
around three, just after the top of the hour in
the NFL. As you guys were alluding to earlier interesting
words overnight from New York Jets general manager Joe Douglas,

(25:29):
who was appearing on stage at a live event with
Boomer asiasin and take from it what you will, Rogers,
he's gonna be here. He got caught up in the spirit.
I hope he just get caught up in the spirit,

(25:50):
it said. Somebody ago regret bet again. Indeed, take from
that what you will. By the way, a special shout
out to at Zach E six four nine three for
tweeting that out. Zach's Twitter account says it offers a
quote endless feed of sopranos, Springsteen, and Fish, references Fish

(26:11):
being the awful excuse me, Fish being the rock band
spelled Phi s h And with that fellas back to you, well,
we'll appreciate that, my guy, ill and you know, for
what it's worth, we we're going to transition into a different,
different shaped the ball. We're gonna deal with the round ball.

(26:33):
And we know that TJ and Plex are are basketball
enthusiasts and more specifically to you know one which we'll
get to the the LA Lakers. We'll talk Lakers, but
but for now, let's talk Luca, and let's talk Kyrie,
and let's talk the Dallas Mavericks. They rested. Now I'm

(26:54):
curious on the language here, all right, they rested five
players and a muscle win game against the Bulls. They
lose by three points resting players, and now they are
not going to make the playoffs. I believe it marched
the end of their season. What do you guys take

(27:17):
from this? I mean, there'll just be some weird ass
stuff going on in the NBA. The way they handle
things is so it just seems, I don't know, weird,
like what what? What? What y'alls takeaway from that? They
could have made the playoffs. It was playing a simple
go ahead. They think they quit. They quit. That's exactly

(27:38):
what happened. They quit. Uh. If you're a Dallas Maverage
and you mark Cuba, you acquire Kyrie IRV, but you
get rid of Jalen Brussel. You don't want to pay
him fifty million dollars in salary. You think that's too
much money. And he was truly valuable asset to have
them with your team. Upside of Luca Duncheons, you trade

(28:01):
away Spencer Dinwoy, you trade away Dorian Finney, and you're
Kay and Kyrie, and you think that your team just
got better. But if you look at it, both players,
Kyrie Irving and Luca Doncheons, they're ball dominant players. They
can't co exist together. So I didn't understand why they

(28:24):
made this trade anyway. Knowing the kind of player that
Luca is, I'll get back to him in a minute,
and Kyrie Irving, knowing that both of these guys are
forty thirty point guys basically every night when they step
on NBA basketball floor, and I think for the Dallas marriage.
One of the things that that really irks me about

(28:44):
watching this basketball team. Luca Dancheons is a great he's
a good player, but he'll never win a championship because
he's ball dominant, and he is one of the laziest
defensive player you were ever witness, and transcenden is getting
up and down the floor. It's absolutely discussing to watch

(29:08):
the man plays zero defense. I'm watching the game a
couple of weeks ago, they're playing against the Golden State Warriors,
and he's at the free throw line. It's a picking roll.
Steph comes off the screen and he's standing at the
free throw line and he holds his arms up like
where's the defense, and it's like, man, ran a picking roll.
You gotta go compete to it. At least he try

(29:30):
to block the shot to compete with Steph Curry at
the rim. He doesn't even doesn't even break a step.
And then on flip side of that, he catches the
ball in the post, like one point eight seconds left
in the game. He dives to the basket and given
the ball under the basket, he misses the layer with
Draymond contesting the shot, and before the ball is rebounded,

(29:51):
he's complaining about the referee and the ball is still
on the rim. They haven't even got the rebound. Yeah,
he's walking up to the red complaining. He is one
of the laziest defensive players as seen. He's a good player,
but man, let me tell you something. He is a
one side of the court basketball player. And that does
not make you a great player, because you know what

(30:12):
they know and everybody else knows. Luca Danchees is not
guarding anybody. He's not playing any defense. He gruns to
the block on the defensive side. He gets his triple
doubles because he's on the weak side of the ball,
and he gets the rebounds, and he's going to get
his tennisis and he's going to score double his points.

(30:33):
That is how his triple doubles come so easily. It's
not like he's in there actually competing with the big
boys getting rebounds. He's basically cherry picking on the weak
side of the defense, grabbing the misshots, and he's padding
his stats. Oh, he has the most triple doubles into
the first five or six years of NBA history. But

(30:54):
the man does not give any effort on a defense end.
And I just I don't have been too respect for it.
What was odd is in a game that had so
much importance to it, you announce you're sitting five players

(31:16):
for me, I'm playing in that game unless I'm really hurt.
I don't care if it's a back to back. I'm
playing in that game because if we lose, we got
nothing but months to rest, right, I got nothing but
months to rest. So I don't understand just from that
perspective alone, I don't care if it's a back to back,

(31:38):
I don't care what you say. It's the technology you
have is saying all my body and my muscles are
worn out. Okay, maybe I shouldn't be playing thirty nine minutes.
I'll play thirty minutes. But I'm playing in this game
because we still had an opportunity. We still had a
small percentage of making the playing game. And so that

(32:03):
is what I don't understand. But you knew when they
trade it Dan Wittie during Phinney Smith and the picks
for Kyrie, they were gonna suffer on a defensive end.
Now you're gonna have two guys on the court that
don't really play defense, and Kyrie and Luca, and that's
gonna hurt your team. Both of them are ball dominant,
both of them are very good players both from create

(32:25):
shots for themselves and for others. But when you don't
play defense. And I like Luca, I like his fights iness,
I like his competitiveness, but man, Luca gonna complain at
least fifty times a game, all the all games, at
least fifty times a game. Tim Hardaway called him a
crab baby, said that the league should be ashamed of themselves,

(32:47):
letting them to let Luca be as big a crab. Baby.
I get it though at times, LeVar, I do get it.
If you feel like you're getting fouled and they're not
calling it, you're gonna say something. But every single time,
now that I not Lebron, don't do that as a complainer. Man,
you ain't. You ain't watching the game, LeVar. I'm talking.

(33:09):
Luca literally will complain. Maybe lukea ain't really complaining, he
just not trying to get back on defense. So that's
his way of like, hain't gonna play the beefense, I'm
gonna complain to the ref. Like he literally will stop,
argue with the ref and then jog back possession of okay,
we got the ball on offense. He's doing that at
least ten times a game, and so well, he gave
need to figure that out. He did come out and

(33:30):
say that it's hard to play hard all the time.
That's what it is. I mean, this is the thing.
You know, since Luca has come into the league, what
if they always said, oh, he's showing, he showed up
the training camp out of shape, he's put on weight.
If you look at this season, just specifically this season

(33:51):
to me just watching the games, he's looked like he's
put on the way. He looked like he showed up
in in in shape, and now as a season has progressed,
he's put on weight. Dallas, they need to figure this
out because Lucas played with port Zingis. It didn't work.
They had Jalen Brunson, who they drafted and they could

(34:14):
have signed him to a deal, and then they didn't
even want to offer him four years fifty five million.
He ended up getting a hundred million dollars contract from
the Knicks. They could have signed him because when Luca
went out last year, he was cooking and he wanted
to be in Dallas. He wanted to stay, and they
didn't offering what he wanted. He ended up getting basically
doubled at with the Knicks. You can say, oh, yes,

(34:35):
dad works for the Knicks and whatever whatever. Leon Rhodes
was the president of Knicks, was Jalen Brunson agent and
things of that nature. But had you offered him what
he wanted, he would have been there. So it didn't
work with port Zingis. It didn't work with Brunson. Now
they ain't working with Kyrie, And this is how it
works when you're the best player and you're a superstar
like Luca. Now the finger has started getting pointed at you, like,

(34:57):
why is it you cannot figure out to play and
play well when you have another good player next to you? Hey?
When it's hey, when it's all being said at the
end of the day, when Jason Kidd and Mark Cuban
made the executive decision to sit the Luca and Kyrie
Irving and all those guys, they still have a fourteen
percent chance of winning the top pick. Hey, we all

(35:20):
know you know the maverage. They were just in the
Western Conference finals, right, we do know that very recently,
like the first pick in the dress. They're going to
be a lottery for sure, but they ain't getting the
possibility that they could get the first pick. You never
know possibility. You're right about that. Speaking of losers, we're
gonna talk about the Lakers on the other side of
this phrase. I know that I heard to DJ but

(35:46):
we got the playoffs, But were you play it ain't
for sure? Yeah, man, we play Utah tomorrow. Brus So
for the playing we the seventh seed. Well, conversation smoked.
You can see as you can see, we've struck a nerve.
One up one game. We're gonna take a quick break

(36:06):
and we're going to continue this conversation on the other
side of it Fox Sports Radio. We'll be right back. Alright, alright, alright, alright,
make sure y'all are staying downed in and two. Then
we got our two coming up shortly. Uh yeah, we're
on the tire rack dot Com studio and uh well,

(36:27):
let's talk about this Lebron James uh Lakers team and
how they finished above five hundred and how they're looking
for the playoffs, as TJ has said and has discussed,
and well, I don't know, maybe argued, I mean, what
what should the expectation for your Lakers be? TJ? Like

(36:51):
we we played, we we played week at times fabulous
basketball man. We really do us. Yeah, you know we yeah, yeah,
we can't help myself. It's just uh like you you
just point out, let's just talk about last night's game

(37:13):
against Phoenix. For the most part, that was a really
competitive game until probably the last five minutes of the game.
And so it was like Devin Booker adon KD, Chris
Paul not playing, and we couldn't pull away a lot
earlier than what we did. When the Lakers decide they

(37:37):
want to play basketball, they're gonna be a tough team
to beat. Now in the playoffs, it looks as if
we gonna be first round series against the Memphis Grizzlies.
That's not an easy matchup for the Lakers, just because
of the athleticism they have with jaw attacking the paint.
They got defenders in Dylan Brooks, Desmond Band can play.

(37:57):
Jaren Jackson's probably gonna be UH Defensive Player of the Year.
I'm sure Plexico loves him. You know he's in Michigan.
Stay spartan, but j J. If we play good basketball,
we can beat the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round.
We can beat them. I mean, listen, if anybody plays
you know good, No, no, no, no. If we play

(38:19):
up to our potential, if a D is a D,
we don't even know what. If we stay you know,
if we stay healthy, I'm gonna just tell you this
right now. We went in the series, here we go.
Ain't no if we stay healthy eight that we stay healthy,
we win in the series or you play Utah tomorrow.
If first series, but the playoffs you're gonna play against

(38:41):
the Missipi Gridlies. You will not make it out of
the first out of the first round of playoffs. That's
just not gonna happen. We're not even gonna take the
Lakers serially, flexicain the All Star break. You guys know,
we've been watching basketball since the All Star break. When
I saw the game a couple of days ago when
they played against the Clippers, I knew that the Lakers

(39:03):
were not a team that's going to compete to even
get out of a first round playoffs, especially like a
Memphis Grizzly team. When you can't even be the Los
Angeles Clippers. They gotta do the player. I don't know
what the Clippers like our crypt and like, hey, I
will say this, who else who has the second best
record in the NBA since the trade? That line? Y'all
know that, but that's that's it will be the Los

(39:25):
Angeles Lakers. So since that trade, we've been bawling. I mean,
AD balls when Lebron ain't on the court. I mean,
but how do they how are they going to do?
Some ways? Somehow ad always gets hurt when Lebron is
on the court, Like I just are they allergic to
one another and listen. I was listening to Kevin Garnett,
and I kind of I kind of subscribe to what

(39:46):
Kevin Garnett was saying, like them dudes don't bang with
each other like that, Like they ain't really in it
like that, Like they ain't they ain't dogs like dogs
from life on what they got going on and what
he's saying something like that. He was he's referring to Lebron.
I'm bringing the ball up the court, dumping it down
to the A D and the post. A man go
to work. That's exactly what he's talking about. Hey, y'all

(40:07):
bring up the clippron. Has to be the best player
on the listening game, and it's okay to get the
ball to Anthony Davids. Hey man, you one of the
top skilled players in the world. You go out there
and get us thirty five forty points because I can't
do it every night, or like I used to. That's
what Kg's referring to. Get that man the ball, let

(40:28):
him go to work. Did y'all see the Clipper game
they had Kawhi Leonard on ad Bro cream Puff? Were
you talking? It's six seven A D is six to eleven.
Bro I don't give a damn all right, punish him,
put him in a post, and punish him. I hope

(40:48):
for for TJ's sake that the Lakers, when they're playing
with the Pelicans and can beat the Memphis Grizzlies, well
plays out. Uh, we're gonna take a quick break. On
the other side of it, it's gonna be our two. Yeah,
we're gonna see what's going on. Yeah, yeah, well we'll see.

(41:08):
This is up one game. That's t J. Hushman Zada,
that's Plexico Burst. I'm LeVar Arrington. All right, it's Fox
Sports Radio Hour two coming at you.
