You know. It's always go in those streets though, right.

Speaker 4 (01:59):
It is hold out here in these streets, and I
should have you know. I'm gonna wear my uggs tomorrow.

Speaker 5 (02:03):
Man.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
You know I'm gonna come in war. I'm gonna come
in ready tomorrow. But I'm burning calories. You know, when
you're cold like this, you burn calories. So I'm I'm
trying to burn these calories and and and keep you know,
on my on my journey of of of you know,
physical physical transformation here, you know.

Speaker 5 (02:20):
So there we go.

Speaker 4 (02:21):
You look great, thanks man. I've been working my ass off,
just tired of being like a slob. You know, you
just get to that point in time where you look
at your co host and it's like, you know, I
was just really traumatized by the super Bowl, man, like
it really like I felt comfortable with Lee, you know,
but outside with Lee, I just felt really bad seeing
Jonas and and Q, you know, talking about me and

(02:43):
Lee fit together perfectly.

Speaker 5 (02:44):
You know, we moved together perfectly. Thanks Lee.

Speaker 4 (02:47):
I appreciate you giving me the confidence that I needed
to make it through the week and know that it'd
be okay.

Speaker 6 (02:52):
But I just look great. I just felt like, yeah,
we look great together. You know, everybody looked great.

Speaker 5 (02:58):
No, I just didn't look as great as you all.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
And then we walk up you know you you were
you were Johnny Cash like swag, you know. Q walked
up like I don't even know, like you know, business
business like you know, dope, like when you can tuck
in a button up or button down. What do you
call them? Button up or button down? When you can
do that and put your your belt buckle and it

(03:23):
looks like, you know, you're in an ad like, it's
just I don't know, it makes you uncomfortable.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Which do you call it? Is it a button up
or a button down?

Speaker 3 (03:31):
Is it?

Speaker 5 (03:32):
I don't know which one is it?

Speaker 1 (03:33):
I mean you could call it either, right, I mean
technically they're both true. Yeah, I guess I feel like
I hear more people call it a button down.

Speaker 5 (03:41):
Yeah, I don't know. I don't.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
I don't, I don't know, but I just know that
I stay I stay away from those shirts historically because
my body doesn't agree. My shape doesn't agree with those
types of shirts. You don't like Brian Windhorst, Yeah, she's.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
Was that on the air with that?

Speaker 5 (04:00):
Yeah, it was okay.

Speaker 7 (04:03):
Sometimes there is an answer to this, button up button down.
Button up shirt refers to any shirt that buttons all
the way up to the front. A button down shirt
means any button up shirt with a collar that could
be button down.

Speaker 6 (04:14):
Oh well, there you go, all right, so collared shirt,
it's a button down. Interesting, I never knew that, So
there you go. I mean, but Q was walking in
with his briefcase.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
You know.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
I you know, I had I had my leather briefcase
and I opened up with nothing inside.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
It doesn't matter if you had looked good. And I'm
sitting there all fat with my face cover on because
I was all puffy faced from drinking Lvar Islands and
eating wings Marley's and you know which. By the way,
I'm sitting with Seawn mary Man, who, by the way,
is another one that that lives in the gym. It just,

(04:55):
you know, I just felt bad about myself.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Man, Well that's changed.

Speaker 5 (04:58):
It's all changed.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Year knew you.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
You should see me q I am a sexy bitch
right now, joked? I should see his tries. Yeah, man, yeah,
they definitely are jumping out of my my sweats, you know.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Just in time to go to a Lakers game.

Speaker 5 (05:14):
That's right.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
The court sides show it all off. Now.

Speaker 5 (05:17):
I let Uncle Sha Shay do all that. Yeah, well
him do all that. You guys might be getting a
call though from Steve Kerr. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
Well, he does need some reinforcements for certain. He's not happy.

Speaker 6 (05:29):
We've talked about the discrepancy, foul shooting, the Lakers going
to the foul line significantly more than the Golden State
Warriors borderline at a historic rate if you look back
at some of the numbers, and Steve Kerr felt like
maybe last night there were some things the Lakers were
also getting away with following their three point loss to

(05:50):
the Lakers, and now the Golden State Warriors are down
three to one. So take a listen to the Warriors
head coach discuss, Uh, maybe some tactics the Lakers have
used and been rewarded for.

Speaker 5 (06:01):
Especially last night, I think we.

Speaker 8 (06:03):
Have three or four legal screens called and that was disappointing.
I didn't get a look at at the replay on
any of them, but you know, there were a couple
that were very disappointing just live. But you know, the
Lakers are you know, they are a team that that
plays with a lot of gamesmanship. They understand, you know,

(06:24):
how to how to generate some calls. I thought they
took some flops and were rewarded, but Paul have to
see the replays. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe those were all
illegal screens. But didn't feel like it watching it live.

Speaker 6 (06:37):
So this is one of my favorite things that has
done in the NBA, especially during the playoffs, when the
coach publicly complains about calls one game because you know
he's going to get all the calls the next game.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
Yeah, but that hasn't been the case in this series.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
I mean, he didn't complain about it after Game three
for the lopside of affair that it was in regards
to to fouls.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
But it hasn't changed.

Speaker 1 (06:59):
I mean it's become a public narrative, and I don't
think the NBA cares. I think the NBA, let's just
say this conspiracy theory and can we get to cree
cue up some music for this for you, Let's just
say that this conspiracy theory was true. I think the
NBA is so desperate for a big time winning ratings

(07:20):
that they don't care, Like they really don't care. They
want the Lakers to be there, and first off, like
to say that they shouldn't be. They're playing their best
basketball at at the perfect time. But to sit there
and say they aren't getting a lot of calls. I
mean last night they had what seven or eight more
or eight more free throw attempts, they had probably seven

(07:41):
or eight less fouls called on them. I mean, it
does seem like every single game, there's a decisive advantage
towards the Lakers. Look, there's there could be some gamesman shipped,
but it's been pretty lopsided at times.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
I just think the NBA knows the Lakers are going
to rate.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
It would be a bigger story, bigger deal, especially for
Lebron at this point on his career, if he's able
to get another one, Like I think as far as
what that means for his legacy, what that means for
Lebron as an ambassador for the sport moving forward. To me,
that's that's everything at this point in time in his career.
So there's a lot weighing on this NBA championship, and

(08:21):
I think there's so much more to gain for the
Lakers and.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
Lebron specifically compared to everyone else.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
I just I feel like if this is if this
is the year for him to get another one, I
don't know how many more at his age he's going
to be able to win and put together the season
like he did this year he got the scoring title.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
I think it would only be appropriate if.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
This season ends with him hoisting up the NBA championship.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
And I'm sure the NBA is very well aware of
that too.

Speaker 6 (08:52):
Okay, then if it's for the best case for the NBA,
then this series should go seven games at least get
it to seven games.

Speaker 5 (08:59):
And and I don't think it matters. Yeah, why would you.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
Want to risk that?

Speaker 6 (09:05):
Like milk, every opportunity you have to showcase Lebron James
or Steph Curry as often as you can.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
You.

Speaker 4 (09:13):
Yeah, you got a big matchup coming up, whether it's
it's the Joker or if it's KD and Booker next
next round, like you got.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
You moved. Yeah, you wanted to be rested at this point.
He's he's damn near forty years old.

Speaker 4 (09:24):
You got the matchups you I don't see that. And
if he ends up playing against the Celtics or the
Sixers or the Knicks, I don't think the heat. I
think the heat is a miss. I hate to say it,
even though as well as they're playing, I think that's
a miss. But if you get the if you get
New York, you get the Celtics, or you get the Sixers,

(09:46):
you have won. If they're playing against Lebron James in
the championship round, those ratings are ready to be out
of Oh you won, you won.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
I mean in.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
Philly, They're gonna be greasing up light poles. In Boston,
there could be ki can each other's ass in a bar,
just with the excitement now right with the Bruins out,
Red Sox have been so hot so far, who knows
where the hell the Patriots are at, but hey, you
got the Celtics. They will be literally fist pumping and
knocking each other out in bars with excitement for that

(10:16):
opportunity now and then the Knicks. I mean, come on, man,
you're gonna feed New York a potential chance of winning
an NBA championship.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
Jimier.

Speaker 6 (10:23):
Was it Julius Randall who said last night that maybe
Miami wants it more than us? Like, how do you
think that's gonna land?

Speaker 4 (10:30):
I'm in That's what it looks like. That's what that's
what That's what it looks like from everybody the Miami
Heat have played.

Speaker 6 (10:39):
Listen to a Julius Randall last night following following the game,
This was the Nicks power forward trying to explain what
was going on when it came to their loss. They
lose again lackluster performance at times against the Miami Heat.
Miami looked like they were in cruise control for most
of that second half, and you LEAs Randall, do we

(11:01):
have the Julius Randall, I hear, he is.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
You guys haven't been able to get the amount of
offensive rebounds and loose balls that you were in the
in the Cleveland series.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
Just what have they done to kind of beat you
at your own at your own game?

Speaker 9 (11:12):
Almost it was just maybe they wanted more. I don't know,
you know, that's been who we are all year. We
got to find a way to, you know, step up
and make those plays if we want to keep this
season alive.

Speaker 6 (11:23):
That's like, that's like ripping New York pizza on a
loud speaker in the middle of the Times Square.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
There the New York meeting.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
Like the New York fan base, I think we'll appreciate
the honesty because they might be saying the same thing.
And so as much as that may hurt for like
other guys in the locker room, to hear like that's
a player being honest and accountable for what's happening, I
think fans tend to sit there and go like, all right, good,
he said it, Like I'm glad he's acknowledging it, because

(11:54):
that's what we're saying, like, I think, there tends to
be less of a harsh reaction if the players are
admitting that too, and then they can try to turn
this thing around, which obviously tonight they've got an opportunity
to turn.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
This thing around.

Speaker 4 (12:06):
Personnel wise. The Knicks are a better team on paper,
personnel wise right now than what the Miami Heat are.
You cannot explain how Jimmy Butler and a bond and
tell me his name again, come on, give it to me,
I to buy you like bam or like those two

(12:29):
guys are decimating. They're decimating them pretty much on their own.
And so if you're as good as the Knicks have
been and have shown that they had that opportunity to
transition into being that type of competitive team, there's no
other way to explain it other than desire and fire.

(12:53):
And that's just sometimes you just gotta The only way
that this series can change for them is if you
accept that this is what it is, like they want
it more like make it dirty, like get down and dirty,
like you're not getting loose balls. You're not You're not
you know, doing doing the things where the hustle is
is paying the dividends for your team, like like wake up.

(13:14):
Like its almost like kind of like the resolve, Like
you could hear it in his voice, like, man, I
don't know, you know it's they want it more like
y'all got to wake up, like you still have an
opportunity to win the series, make a series of it,
like wake up.

Speaker 5 (13:26):
Don't let that be the case.

Speaker 1 (13:27):
I mean tomorrow today by the way, yeah right right,
I mean they they now now it's like they're backs
against the wall, so they got an opportunity to fight.

Speaker 4 (13:35):
They're not going to win. They're not They're not going
to win the series. They're going to lose the series.
But but that's I mean, if you think about it,
that it was fire and desire that probably determined this
this particular series.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
And you said about the Lakers and they're win last night,
I mean.

Speaker 4 (13:51):
I mean you honestly, I think the Lakers are just
gaining it. They look like a team that's gaining the
type of confidence that really could lead to them making
a championship run.

Speaker 6 (14:02):
You know what the slogan is in l A for
this series against Golden State?

Speaker 5 (14:06):
What's that refs? Not staph Oh.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
I think Rob Low though the way he constructed this
team after.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
The trade deadline does look just like him. I mean, he.

Speaker 1 (14:18):
Deserves more credit because you've got so many guys that
are really stepping up and you're kind of playing the roles.
I think you can make that case about the Heat too,
like they've got role players who are stepping up and
just doing their job.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
But was it Lonnie? Was it Lonnie Walker Edward? Have
we ever figured that out? After that first segment? We did?

Speaker 6 (14:37):
Yeah, Lottie Edwards the fourth was the story for the
Lakers who said.

Speaker 4 (14:41):
That, oh, I mean who oh, I don't know.

Speaker 5 (14:44):
And then Lonnie Edwards was the story. Mistakes are made.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
See, here's the thing. I was about ready to call
my doctor and be like, did I really hear Edwards?

Speaker 4 (15:00):
Because I was like, hey, did did you know how
cold bled it? This was what Lee and Q did
to you?

Speaker 5 (15:06):
That's trade.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
Here's what what the betrayal was is.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
I asked Jonas if he might have said Edwards, and
he vehemently on air denied it like he had never.
I didn't think that I did, And so I was
about ready to call my doctor and say, give me
a full medical vow. I don't know what's going on.
But I'm hearing things that weren't actually said, and I
literally was about ready to dial up my doctor. And

(15:31):
then Lee went back and checked. He's like, no, you're
not going crazy. He actually said Edwards twice, but he
denied it.

Speaker 6 (15:37):
Lottie Edwards the fourth story for the Lakers. Can I
recut that my take.

Speaker 5 (15:42):
From the first segments and we could.

Speaker 4 (15:43):
Come on left, do it right now? Come on, I
got your back, Jonas, come on here we go.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
You ready?

Speaker 5 (15:48):
Three? Two?

Speaker 3 (15:50):
One?

Speaker 5 (15:50):
Go Jonas.

Speaker 6 (15:51):
Huge night for Lottie Walker. The fourth he had fifteen points.
All fifteen came in.

Speaker 5 (15:56):
The fourth quarter. Bam boom, cut there it is, give
me there you go. I got your back. You thought
Lee had your are there you go?

Speaker 9 (16:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (16:07):
See thanks Lee, thanks for giving me that opening. You're out.
I'm in. You're out.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
After that game, I would feel like you already were in.

Speaker 4 (16:16):
I don't know, I don't know. You see how these
dudes move around here. I definitely not in. Oh I
don't know. But Lee just sold him out big time.
That was a big time sell out.

Speaker 2 (16:30):
Here's the problem, though, is where did you get Lonnie
Edwards from?

Speaker 1 (16:33):
Where did you get like, like you have to understand
the behind the scenes, I'm texting Lee. I'm like, who
is Lonnie Edwards? I was like, Lee, did I play
with the Lonnie Edwards? And then so were text He's like, yeah,
you might have played with I was like, what is
going on? Like why am I hearing Lonnie Edwards? And
because you were so confident you didn't say it.

Speaker 6 (16:50):
I mean, but but again I'm over it, you know,
because we just recut it. So nobody's gonna never happened
podcast the podcast what Lonnie Edwards?

Speaker 5 (16:59):
Do?

Speaker 2 (17:00):
You know?

Speaker 5 (17:00):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (17:01):
Maybe I was just in my subconscious I was thinking
football player.

Speaker 5 (17:05):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (17:05):
I don't know where that came from. I don't know
where Edwards came from. That's weird. It was weird, but
you know, again, it never happened. It was just recut
and we are good to go.

Speaker 3 (17:19):
It is that.

Speaker 5 (17:19):
What they was saying is rat dude, two pros and
a cup of Joe.

Speaker 3 (17:24):
Here.

Speaker 6 (17:24):
Fox Sports Radio Levaren Jonas KNOCKX with you all right
to coming up. We are going to take a closer look.
And also somebody on this show believes there was a
little bit of a fix. Maybe something was rigged that
we are hearing reports of that, so we're going to
have that for you. That'll be next here from the
tiraq dot com studios. It's Two Pros and a Cup

(17:45):
of Joe here on Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (17:47):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 6 (18:02):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here. Coming
up in about twenty minutes from now from the tiraq
dot Com studios, we are going to have another edition
of You In or You Out, So we'll get into
that for you here as we close up shop on
a Tuesday. We did mention, by the way, the NFL
schedule release it is set for this Thursday, APM Eastern time.

(18:22):
You can thank this show. We were the ones that
put the pressure on the league to get it done,
and away we go. The league is getting it done
this Thursday at APM Eastern time. But you're not gonna
have to wait that long because they are going to
sprinkle in some announcements on Wednesday, you're gonna get the
International Games in London and Germany, you're gonna get the
Black Friday Game announcement, and you're gonna have other select

(18:44):
contests are going to be announced on Wednesday, and then
earlier on Thursday. The NFL is going to announce other
select matchups as well too, and they're using non sports
shows to make these announcements on some of these other
games on Fox, Abc, CBS and NBC to do it.
So the NFL is really spreading themselves out to try
and take full advantage of this in the middle of

(19:06):
the week on some morning programming, so we're not that
far away, guys. We're gonna have a schedule to look
after and break down and we get to see how
many primetime games Aaron Rodgers and some other teams get there.
So we're going with five, right for Rodgers, that's going
to be the.

Speaker 5 (19:20):
Oh yeah, oh yeah. I thought.

Speaker 2 (19:23):
The most interesting thing is that there's no longer a tie,
and this maybe is why it took a while.

Speaker 1 (19:30):
There's no longer a tie, a tie up between Fox
getting the NFC and CBS getting the AFC, which is
gonna be the most interesting thing to see who has
what games. You know, traditionally, if you were a Fox,
you know you were banking on obviously the Dallas Cowboys
and the drawl that they bring, or the New York
Giants for example, especially during the time Eli Manning was there,

(19:52):
and now with with Aaron Rodgers no longer being in
Green Bay, even though Green Bay's got a great fan
base and following, it doesn't have the same type of
I mean, this league is largely led by the face
of the franchise and then oftentimes that's the quarterback. So yes,
you've got Philly and Jalen Hurts, but with Tom Brady
retiring in Tampa, Drew Brees now being out for a

(20:13):
couple of years, few years with the Saints, like, you've
lost a lot of the star power in the NFC,
and I think it's it's great timing for Fox to
be able to be able to share in some of
the games now that you're getting in the AFC.

Speaker 2 (20:29):
And so it's gonna be really.

Speaker 1 (20:30):
Interesting to see how that whole process works out. It's
gonna be it's gonna look different than than how it's
looked in the past as we see how these games
are divvied up between Fox and CBS.

Speaker 6 (20:39):
It'd be pretty great if the delay was because neither
one wanted to carry Cardinals games, like take them?

Speaker 5 (20:45):
Would you please just take them? Hey?

Speaker 4 (20:47):
Those games did get a little boring this year. I
went to one in person. Yeah, oh my gosh, them
in the rams was painful.

Speaker 5 (20:55):
Was that the Christmas?

Speaker 2 (20:56):
No?

Speaker 6 (20:56):
No, no, that was Denver they played on Christmas. You
went to Cardinals rams because you know, Jesse Loketta is
one of my guys. I know a lot of stuff
going on with the Cardinals man and say nothing.

Speaker 4 (21:07):
But that was not a fun game to watch. I'll
tell you that. It was very boring.

Speaker 5 (21:12):
Jesse was with us at ut Super Bowl week. Yeah,
hung out with ye Yeah, yeah, that's right. Yeah, he
came to it. You were there, Yeah, I was there.
We were there. We were all there and were drinking
some smoking, smoky drinks.

Speaker 3 (21:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (21:27):
That was not LeVar Islands by the way, that night.

Speaker 7 (21:30):
That was more straight bourbon for me, Mescal for you.

Speaker 4 (21:33):
Yeah, mescal, pineapple, some fancy stuff. Big big ball, big
balls of ice, big old, big old hard balls, round,
big old hard round balls in the glass. Yeah, kept
it cool with the smoke. Yeah it was enjoyable.

Speaker 5 (21:52):
Man. Yeah it was fun. Food was really good. Yeah yeah,
that was really good food. Maneah ate that bone marrow.

Speaker 6 (22:00):
And then they they followed up with an awful football
team this upcoming season.

Speaker 5 (22:04):
So four and a half hours.

Speaker 4 (22:06):
I would love to see this season with looking at
all of the scheduling and how everything is is kind
of unfolding. I thought that this draft was one of
the more exciting drafts for for one reason or another.
For me, I just felt like, man like it created

(22:26):
some excitement. And then there's a couple of teams until
Brady tried to ruin it for c. J.

Speaker 5 (22:30):
Stroud. I mean we were off and running and then
he had to just step in and try and I.

Speaker 2 (22:35):
Don't know what problems was I causing.

Speaker 5 (22:38):
You know, you'ta address it. I'm team laghetto. Man, Oh did.

Speaker 2 (22:44):
You did you get a solo photo with him? Too? Much?

Speaker 5 (22:47):
Like Field graduating Jonas were you're graduating was David?

Speaker 1 (22:53):
Imagine all the work David Mulugetta put in for him getting.

Speaker 4 (23:00):
Get to the college to begin with, Like, imagine all
the time he's put in with these kids getting to
college and going through college.

Speaker 5 (23:07):
Taking Like I wasn't.

Speaker 6 (23:11):
I did not notice it until now you guys have pointed.

Speaker 5 (23:14):
It out, and then he's around he's a lot. That's
a lot.

Speaker 4 (23:18):
Well, don't say, you guys, I'm not you know that's
I'm not even in on that. You know, I'll just
see I'm just spectator. But again back to the point
that I was making in terms of the scheduling, I
would love to see Houston take take a step forward
and and be competitive and Cee CJ. Stroud be you know,

(23:38):
a good quarterback for for the Texans. I would love
to see them do well on defense and see Demico
do do well as the head coach. I would love
to see the New York Jets be competitive and push
for you know, the playoffs and even possibly a Super Bowl.
Bit like, I would love to see a competitive, a

(24:03):
competitive season take place. And I just feel like that
it has that potential. It has the potential to give
you the parody and the entertainment value that you actually
would would hope for and going into a season. It
hasn't always been that way.

Speaker 1 (24:21):
Let me throw this out there to you because I
said this last year about the.

Speaker 2 (24:25):
Jets, and everyone ran with it. They didn't actually listen
to what I said, which is pretty pretty typical. I
thought they'd be a five win team.

Speaker 1 (24:35):
And when I was talking about why I thought that was,
it was because I thought their first nine games, we're
gonna be a gauntlet. And I said, like, they're not
gonna be favor in any of the first nine. They
were only favor in one, that was Denver when Brett
Rippen took over for Russell Wilson. He it was hurt
last year, but they actually fared decently well during that time, right.

(24:57):
They had some improbable wins there in the Cleveland game
stands out there, there are some others, but they ended
up kind of falling off there in the second half,
which it was not how I foresaw the season, you know,
playing out, even though it was close to the record.
Was what I thought beforehand. But a lot of why
I thought they would struggle was more based on their
schedule and and some other factors. Obviously quarterback et cetera.

(25:22):
Will I guess as we get ready or prepare for
this coming Thursday night, like how many games? How many
games do you think a schedule can swing a team?
Because because I think it's two Like I think if
you get a schedule that sets up favorably, you could
be a team that wins two more games than maybe
you would if it doesn't right. As far as like,

(25:43):
some teams will spend an entire month on the road,
and it is hard, man, it is hard to win
games on the road in the NFL. So I kind
of I kind of look at it and just go
to me at least what happens Thursday night. And the
fortune is that the NFL almost creates a bit with
the way they set up these schedules. It can lead

(26:06):
to what is like a team barely missing the playoffs
or a team getting in.

Speaker 2 (26:10):
And making a run of potentially winning a Super Bowl.

Speaker 6 (26:12):
And also there's other advantages like early in the season.
Denver's advantage at home early in the season. Their record
is astronomical playing in the South early in the season.

Speaker 5 (26:22):
Remember was it the Packers.

Speaker 6 (26:23):
That opened up at Jacksonville or they open up in
the South last year or the year before and got smashed.
So yeah, that's what I look for. Well in just
the bye weeks, like where the bye week's placed. Do
you have an early bye week or later bye week?
Like that's the stuff that gets interesting. The feeling is
the Jets are going to be featured in a primetime
game the opening weekend, and they're looking at maybe the

(26:45):
Monday night game, and it was report I think Brian
Baldinger said we could get Jets Giants on the first
Monday Night game, which would be a lot of fun.
And then I still think the opener, the Thursday night debut,
I think is going to be Chief Spangles.

Speaker 5 (26:58):
I think they're going to roll that out.

Speaker 6 (27:00):
I don't think they'll do the Bills, but the Bengals
are on the schedule, and I think they roll it
right out. Top two teams in the AFC from a
year ago.

Speaker 5 (27:07):
I don't sure.

Speaker 2 (27:09):
But how much do you think a schedule can impact
a team's.

Speaker 6 (27:11):
Record significantly depending on where the bye week is and
where they play, especially early on.

Speaker 2 (27:17):
I mean, are you saying two three games?

Speaker 6 (27:19):
I mean what I would say, I don't know two.
It depends on the schedule. I don't know, Like what,
what do you mean?

Speaker 1 (27:25):
The whole point? That's the whole point. We're saying easy schedule,
hard schedule, right.

Speaker 6 (27:30):
So it could go from yeah, you could be a
seven win team to a ten win team.

Speaker 4 (27:34):
I mean, it's just you're saying three games, yeah, or
maybe two.

Speaker 5 (27:40):
And a half. You know, sidebar.

Speaker 4 (27:43):
Just watching the news all of these fights breaking out
on airplanes, just a sidebar. Why couldn't one breakout on
the airplane that I'm on. It's just a sidebar. I mean,
that's just me thinking out loud, and I just.

Speaker 2 (27:59):
Why do you, dud Do you understand what happens when
that stuff happens?

Speaker 5 (28:02):
Brady can't leave Brady.

Speaker 4 (28:06):
I understand how inconvenient it would be in terms of
time and what's going to happen everything after that. But
I just wish one time that it would happen while
I was on the.

Speaker 2 (28:19):
Plane so you can watch it.

Speaker 5 (28:23):
Wap that.

Speaker 4 (28:23):
I mean, I would, I mean I would drag that
person so bad. I would drag that person so bad.
It doesn't matter, it doesn't matter.

Speaker 1 (28:37):
The problem is is like it's just not worth it
because then if you get caught up in something that like.

Speaker 5 (28:46):
But I love it.

Speaker 4 (28:47):
I'm just telling I'm just telling you, just like my
my mental emotional makeup, like I'd be sitting there. It
makes my skin crawl when people do that that dumb
s on planes and if it were a dude, like
I'm just sitting here like just reminiscing, like you know,
living in DC, like after nine eleven, Like your your
radar is on like high alert, Like you're sitting on

(29:10):
a plane, you are on high alert. So I'm just
watching like and it'd be funny because the flight attendants
would always say, you know, you know that there's Marshalls
on the plane anyway, Like guys are getting on the
plane anyway. But every once in a while you'd be
like a flight attendant and be like look at you
and be like he'd like, yeah, like I'm with you,

(29:31):
like we in this together, like yes, like the nod
is the not like I just and so every time
I see like a moron do something stupid on an airplane,
like its just like in my mind, like why couldn't
that just happen one time while I'm just one good time?

Speaker 6 (29:46):
So, Eddie, some shenanigans with the NHL Draft lottery last night?

Speaker 5 (29:50):
What went on?

Speaker 10 (29:51):
Well, I'll just say this, about two weeks ago and
we saw that the what the odds were gonna be
for the for the draft lottery? Yet Amaheim number one
eighteen point five percent, the Columbus Blue Jackets whatever to
thirteen point five percent, and then they have the Chicago
Blackhawks at eleven point five. And so there's this kid,
Connor Bodart. Everyone's claiming he's like the next Sydney Crosby,

(30:13):
that type of a player, and I'm like, there's no
way the NHL is gonna let that guy go to
a place like Anaheim or no disrespect, Columbus. Those are
not big markets, those are not marquee teams. But the
third team, the Chicago Blackhawks, that's where he's gonna end up.
Well and lo and behold, that's that's where he ended up.

Speaker 1 (30:35):
So what were the odds of Chicago getting the number
one overall pick eleven point five percent.

Speaker 2 (30:40):
As compared to Columbus and the others.

Speaker 10 (30:43):
The Anaheim was at eighteen point five, Columbus thirteen point five.

Speaker 2 (30:46):
Wow, Okay, I mean, I mean they are one of
the original six, right.

Speaker 10 (30:51):
They certainly are.

Speaker 2 (30:52):
They certainly are, and.

Speaker 5 (30:53):
They could use the help.

Speaker 2 (30:54):
They they can't use the they can.

Speaker 5 (30:56):
It's been a bad stretch in that market.

Speaker 10 (30:59):
And in the NHL they have I haven't watched the
NBA Draft lottery in a while. Do they still do
the ping pong balls or the cards or whatever they
still doing pong. Okay, So the NHL they put on
a little TV show for this and they unveil the cards, right,
and they have all the gms sitting in a room
with a camera on them, but they have the ping
pong balls. They have that in another room. And then

(31:21):
they released that like on YouTube later to kind of
prove that this is all on the up and up.
I'm like, why not just do that to begin with,
to show everybody instead of having it off, you know,
off camera in another room.

Speaker 2 (31:34):
But so again, it's a good theory. I like it.
It's a progressive theory. Yeah.

Speaker 10 (31:40):
Oh wow.

Speaker 6 (31:41):

can we get them? Can we get them? Can we
get them?

Speaker 2 (35:27):
Hey?

Speaker 1 (35:27):
By the way, last night walking my dog, I've got
like an eighty pound boxer, this small dog comes running
up and for summery, I mean it was probably maybe
eight pounds and this this guy didn't have his dog
in the leash, and which I'm like, all right, you know,
just kind of irresponsible, not really sure what he was thinking.
And he wasn't overly apologetic about it, like he wanted
his dog to come like make sure it was cool

(35:49):
with mine. I'm like, this probably won't end well for
your dog. So I was trying to like explain, like,
oh no, she's not the most friendly dog and all
this stuff, and like literally he gave me a buddy.
At some point I was like, well, why don't you
put your dog on a leash next time?

Speaker 2 (36:03):
Pal?

Speaker 1 (36:04):
All right, like we kind of went the buddy pale
a second, but for a second I was like, you
