(01:15):
the reports out of the NFL when it comes to
the schedule release. The debut for the NFL in twenty
twenty three will in fact be the Kansas City Chiefs
hosting the Detroit Lions, so that was unveiled earlier today.
And we also have our second Christmas game that was
just announced a short time ago. It'll be Raiders Chiefs

(01:37):
and that game will also be featured on Nickelodeon. So
if you're wondering what you're going to be doing on Christmas, Brady,
you and the girls will be messled up next to
us fireplace.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Bdo disrespect for the Raiders.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
I mean a storied franchise that they're gonna throw on Nickelodeon.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
Come on, burto Wells.

Speaker 4 (01:58):
Becuse Josh mcdowon is the So then all they'll be
six and what ten by then, so you play on
the coach by that time.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
I'm just saying, though, maby forget who the coaches.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
It's the Raiders. I mean, do we have the autumn wind?

Speaker 4 (02:15):
Yeah, come on, the autumn wind. The autumn wind was
slimed on Christmas morning. Come on, give us some autumn
win here. As the Raiders are now now in fairness,
they are going to be also featured on CBS. But
I gotta be honest with you. I romos calling that game.
I'd rather have Mark Summers do the color comedy on

(02:37):
Nickelodeon to be truthful with you. Yeah, I mean, buruh.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
I'm more interested to see how you feel about this.
You're a residence Raiders fan. Is this gonna make Christmas
a good thing or a bad thing?

Speaker 4 (02:47):
Well, the Raiders are gonna suck because Josh McDonnell's the coach.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
So okay, so.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Let's let's say let's okay, that's that's your opinion.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
Let's say they're not.

Speaker 4 (02:55):
These are facts, baby, he's in his records as the
coach is horrible.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
Okay again, Hey, we don't know what the future holds, Burdos.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Let's let let's let's go with that theory.

Speaker 5 (03:05):
Though.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
Let's say they're not having a good season, but they
beat the Chiefs, which could happen. Yeah, they've actually been
kind of.

Speaker 6 (03:13):
Competitive on Christmas.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
On Christmas, I mean you're not. You're telling me that's
not a great gift from Santa Claus.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
Come on, I'll take it. Jimmy g on Christmas. I
mean listened last time Jimmy played the Chiefs.

Speaker 5 (03:27):
Who's the kid character YA was talking about earlier in
the show, Blippy? I think he should call the game, Libb,
I think Blippy should call the game.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
I'll tell you right now, if Blippy calls that game,
I'll quit this show.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
Here's what Here's what's disappointing about this is I really
thought Berto would be excited to be a part of
the segment and talk about, you know, a Christmas holiday
being able to watch the Raiders, Like, are you excited
for any part of this season?

Speaker 5 (03:52):
Burdo?

Speaker 4 (03:53):
Uh uh no? Let me tell you, all right, Can
I tell you why Burdo is not excited about the
Raiders on Christmas?

Speaker 2 (04:00):
It makes me sad.

Speaker 4 (04:01):
Here's why, because the night before is to Molly Knight,
and he's going to get butchered. He's going to blow
through at least a half bottle. These are facts?

Speaker 6 (04:12):
Am I telling lie here? Those are facts?

Speaker 4 (04:15):
Yeah? And so I.

Speaker 5 (04:17):
Mean, why is Jonahs telling you about Tomalley?

Speaker 4 (04:19):
Because Berto and I are, uh, you know, Christmas Baby,
Christmas Eve. We do, that's right, Christmas Baby, but we
do in Oxico.

Speaker 5 (04:28):
But don't understand how the button wasn't hit on that
one right there? Knocks? I don't. I don't know. You
just get away with stuff with Berto.

Speaker 4 (04:36):
There certain that certain certain things like you.

Speaker 5 (04:41):
On Black Fridays though you get whoa Black Friday? I
mean Bertomy, But oh my gosh, Jonah says he he's
sea walks on on those Fridays. Does he see walk
on Black Friday?

Speaker 4 (04:58):
What does Verto do is that? It's what does Berto do?

Speaker 5 (05:02):
Is that the v walk?

Speaker 2 (05:04):
I mean, he said.

Speaker 5 (05:08):
For the essay walks A yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
You know what does what does the walk look like?

Speaker 5 (05:15):
What does.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
What does the gringo walk sound like? Berto?

Speaker 5 (05:24):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
I had no impression for him.

Speaker 5 (05:29):
I was curious.

Speaker 4 (05:30):
Yeah, let's do dance all right. By the way, the
the other reported schedule that's already out there, we have
the full Packers schedule. This according to Matt Schneidman, who
covers the Green Bay Packers.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (05:52):
He says that the Jordan Love era will start in Chicago,
So they're going to get the Bears week one there
also finished with the Bear at home.

Speaker 6 (06:01):
Okay, but check this out.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
Pause, think about why the NFL would do that. All Right,
you're moving on from one quarterback who owned the Bears,
and then you immediately get to see whether or not
Shre and Love can continue that trend.

Speaker 4 (06:16):
And I don't care what the spread is, hammer the
Packers in that spot.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
I'll just hammer the Bears then.

Speaker 4 (06:22):
Yeah, but it's more fun to just bury the Bears
because they're so uptight about Aaron Rodgers dominating them. So
it just it feels like that's possibly going to go
in that direction. Also, what do you guys think of this?
The Packers are getting five primetime games as a stands
right now, They're going to get a Thursday night game
on al Michaels and Amazon coming up in week four,

(06:43):
Then they're at the Raiders on Monday Night Football. Then
they're going to get the Chiefs on Sunday Night later
in the year, the Giants on Monday Night later in
the year, and then the Vikings second to last week
on Sunday Night Football. So, as it stands right now.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
If they're just going to flex out you think.

Speaker 4 (06:59):
So, let's yeah, I totally that too. I said, this
is looking like a flex situation, especially New Year's Eve
against the Vikings, feels like that could go that do it.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
Green Bay's got one of the best fan bases nationally,
you know when they travel wherever they go like they've got.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
A very strong following.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
But I don't think that's going to be the case
if they struggle, and you've got a really competitive NFC
North in Minnesota went thirteen games last year with the
poor defense.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
You know Detroit's up there too. Now is the betting favorite.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
I think Chicago got better this offseason. I just I
think you could go through some growing pains too with
Jordan Love. So it's I think they'll get flex out
of it. I bet two of those later games.

Speaker 4 (07:40):
The other game on Christmas. This was announced yesterday that
it's going to be the Giants at the Eagles. So
we know two of the games on Christmas, We've got
Raiders Chiefs on Nickelodeon and then we've got Giants at Eagles.
So I'm just curious what that third game on Christmas
Day is going to be. I'm curious what direction the
NFL go.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
The interesting thing about the Christmas Day conversation, and we
skipped over this yesterdays we probably got caught up in
some other things, is so ESPN, ABC, right, who also
owned the rights to the NBA, which they'll be producing
a game that day, and they're gonna be producing.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
A NFL game, an NFL game.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
I look at that and think to myself, it's gonna
be a stark contrast in viewership because I don't think
you're gonna get people who because do they have the
early game on Christmas Day?

Speaker 4 (08:33):
It depends on if it's Yeah, I think so, because
they do one on ABC as well too. I think
they do a couple of games on Christmas Day. ESPN does,
but not mistaken NBA.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
So whether it's one or two, I think the interesting
thing is they're going to be competing against themselves, right,
aren't they broadcasting the ESPN or ABC Christmas Day basketball game?

Speaker 4 (08:55):
Yeah? But I think I don't think they do all
of them. I think TNT gets an right.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
Right er right, but but but the point is is
tn T is not in the NFL, ESPN, ABC is,
and so you're gonna see a start contrast in the
ratings where depending on how the game shape out, Like
if they're if they have an early game, people are
gonna tune in for that NFL game. Yeah, and then
if they're gonna lead into one of the basketball games,

(09:19):
which is what you oftentimes try to do to kind
of carry that audience in to create a bigger rating.
I think you can get a lot of people change
the channel and you're gonna you're gonna see a significant
a significant drop off, and it's it's gonna look bad.
I mean, it's it's one of those things where it's
gonna kind of reveal I think the difference in the
NFL and the NBA.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
It's kind of like the secession. Right. If anyone watches
that series, I, oh.

Speaker 6 (09:44):
Really, I'm watching the two ohkt.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
It Well, uh, you're cut up. Let so you saw
the season finale.

Speaker 7 (09:51):
Wait, that was the finale?

Speaker 5 (09:53):
This week?

Speaker 1 (09:54):
Wait this week the series finale, the series finale.

Speaker 6 (09:58):
No, that wasn't the series finale.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
I'm not saying series finale, the season finale.

Speaker 7 (10:03):
Well, this is the last season that I don't think
it's the.

Speaker 1 (10:06):
Well anyway, okay, Well, the point I'm trying to get
maybe maybe it was the last episode that I saw you.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
Guys don't know, you should watch the series. It's great.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
A lot of people will probably hit you up because
they've watched it.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
But the stock price drop, you.

Speaker 1 (10:19):
Know what I'm talking about, Like, that's what you're gonna
see in the rating drop between NFL and NBA where
you're like, oh, that was dad right, Like it kind
of a kind of a would like apply here. You're
gonna see a dramatic decrease in viewership from that, and
it's it's kind of an odd deal. I think for ESPN, ABC,
they try to promote both because it'll be a big day,
but it's not gonna be as big as it could
be if they had multiple NFL games.

Speaker 4 (10:40):
I find it hard to believe though they would they
would put an NFL game opposite one on ABC, one
on ESPN, do NFL on NBA, like they would stagger
that it feels like and who knows, maybe maybe they
get the early they put the NBA game on early.
Maybe Chiefs Raiders is the early game on Nickelodeon, and
then later at night ESPN runs that game and then

(11:02):
we get Joe Buck and Troy Aikman late at night.

Speaker 5 (11:05):
I'm just trying to understand what is the logic behind Nickelodeon.
Like I could see a simo cast. I could see
the simo cast like where they were trying to make
it fun for the kids, like you had slime falling
on like the players and stuff like that. Like I
could understand simo casting it. But if you're saying they're

(11:26):
putting the game solely, no, it's.

Speaker 4 (11:29):
Gonna be on CBS as well too, You're gonna have
options you as.

Speaker 5 (11:33):
Long as it's a simo cast, I think. You know,
to me, I feel like you could have Nickelodeon on,
cause I mean, chances are it's like if you have
kids that are like Romper room kids, like where they're
in their playroom, in their playspace, and you got on
like you know, you know, they don't even have Cartoon
Network anymore. I don't even think that exists anymore. I

(11:55):
think that they close down. So if you have on
a kid channel and that kid channel happens to be Nickelodeon,
and you're just leaving it on that channel, you're still
feeding this younger generation of kids, boys and girls, this
this idea of liking football and in a less football

(12:17):
like centric manner, like it's not, it's not focused in
so it's more to me, you're opening up your your
gates and you're you're trying to market to a different
you know, to your next your next generation of of
football fans, pass athlete.

Speaker 1 (12:33):
And by the way, just to get back to the
TV conversation, so Fox is doing the fourth thirty game.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
Right, did you? Did you announce that?

Speaker 3 (12:39):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (12:40):
So that's for sure the four thirty and then others
the one in the A fifteen and so the one
will either be a CBS game, and then the eight
to fifteen will either be ESPN or NBC, so they
will potentially, in talking about ESPN, they would be placing
those you know, basketball games earlier in the day, which
to me, you're gonna have a really hard time competing

(13:01):
with the likes of what the NFL has drummed up,
and which is what I'm kind of trying to portray
is if it does end up being an ESPN, you know,
night game, you're gonna see this this low viewership and
then I'm a dramatic jump to that NFL game once
people start tuning in for it, as opposed to you
know what the rest of the day is going to
look for.

Speaker 4 (13:19):
The NBA is screwed, like they have no chance on Christmas.
There's no chance.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
It's just interesting because there's no other network that's involved
in both and ESPN ABC obviously is, so it's it's
kind of a conflict for them in some ways right
as far as what it's going to.

Speaker 4 (13:35):
Look like now, speaking of ratings, if and again I'm
not trying to shame anybody here or trying to hate
on anybody here. I want to preface this by just
throwing out possibilities. If say your CBS and you get
the numbers after Christmas Day and you see that there's
significantly more people that are watching the Nickelodeon game over

(13:56):
the one that's featuring Tony Romo on the broadcast, no
bells and whistles like people getting slimed at the fifty
yard line, you might have yourself a little bit of
a problem. I think the market may have spoken on
on Tony Romo and how we feel about him just
feels like, you know, there's there's a lot out there.
So if you were looking to get Tony Romo but
with a bunch of little gadgets to go along with it,

(14:18):
Raiders chiefs on Christmas Day, a game that Berto may
or may not be watching based on based on his
representation of the Raiders earlier in this segment.

Speaker 5 (14:27):
So he's gonna be back too busy walking.

Speaker 6 (14:33):
We're gonna what you mean?

Speaker 5 (14:36):
And then you just jumped on it so quickly. But
when that man said Tomali tomaly uh Eve you you was?
You was all in on him. That's facts facts, that's facts, homie.

Speaker 4 (14:49):
Yeah, Berdo and I just celebrated Dia delas Madrea yesterday.

Speaker 5 (14:58):
Here we go out, Yeah, there we go.

Speaker 4 (15:01):
All right, that's how we do.

Speaker 5 (15:02):
There you go.

Speaker 4 (15:03):
It is two pros and a cup of Joe here
on Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 5 (15:07):
The JKS Show. Are we on the JKS Show? Q?

Speaker 2 (15:12):
What what are you doing here?

Speaker 5 (15:14):
I feel like I'm in the twilight zone.

Speaker 4 (15:15):
Yeah, we're gonna put you up on a little bit
of game.

Speaker 5 (15:19):
No, no, don't do that. That's passive aggressive. It will
be ten dollars.

Speaker 4 (15:22):
Why is that ten dollars to ten dollars? Uh, it's
by the way, it's yeah.

Speaker 5 (15:32):
Even though Berto and Lee ain't even on the JKS Show.
So how does that even work? You didn't bring them
to that show? That how does that work?

Speaker 4 (15:38):
Because Lee's with Todd and Berto has a life, so
they're not here on Saturdays.

Speaker 5 (15:43):
So Lee doesn't have a life because Lee's with Todd.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
No, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on better, Hey,
Birto or Lee? Did Jonas even ask?

Speaker 6 (15:51):
That's a negative?

Speaker 7 (15:55):
Me and Todd would show up?

Speaker 5 (15:57):
Now that is very, very interesting though.

Speaker 2 (16:01):
You would not.

Speaker 4 (16:02):
First of all, Todd's not awake by that.

Speaker 6 (16:04):
That's true. Todd is not all.

Speaker 4 (16:05):
And Lee's probably got an h oo A meeting because
there's a flood at his place. So that's your fault.

Speaker 5 (16:11):
Lee. Wait, simply talk your way out of them not
being on your show.

Speaker 4 (16:15):
Jonas, Yeah, would not show up for that.

Speaker 2 (16:21):
Wait, Lee, are you? Are you the new Hoa Constrictor?

Speaker 4 (16:24):
Come on?

Speaker 8 (16:25):
I am pretty much doing most everything on the h
Come on.

Speaker 7 (16:31):
We had a break in the other day.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
That was fun.

Speaker 7 (16:34):
We've had flooding. We had a gas leak this week.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
Dude, this is come full circle. I'm so proud of you.

Speaker 7 (16:40):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
Yeah, just say it like I was in for two years.
We talked about that for a while. You're in the mix.
It's great.

Speaker 5 (16:46):
Man.

Speaker 2 (16:47):
Get Var. We didn't get LeVar on an ho A board.

Speaker 5 (16:49):
What the same guy that's trying to get rid of
hiccups with with a paper towel and drinking water like your.

Speaker 7 (16:57):
Now, I'm saving save the money with those paper towels.

Speaker 5 (17:02):
Let's see what solutions he comes up for for I
don't understand what is not doubt that?

Speaker 4 (17:07):
What is the being on the h a board? Do
you get like a cut? Is it like do they
wave half your fees?

Speaker 5 (17:14):
Get the flex's?

Speaker 4 (17:16):
Well, you just get the title.

Speaker 8 (17:19):
The girl wanted me to do it so that we
could like bend the rules and like do some construction
in the in our in our in our condo that
might be bending the rules.

Speaker 2 (17:30):
You'd like to be in a position where you can
help shape policy.

Speaker 1 (17:33):
That's correct, you make advantageous towards you is a better.

Speaker 2 (17:36):
Way of putting.

Speaker 5 (17:36):
That's I just hit you out with the slang term
or what what you just you just hit you with
the gringo term. I just hit you with slang term.
Like y'all like the.

Speaker 9 (17:46):
Flex, Yeah, but flexing flexing is more like walk like hey,
by the way, you see the patch on my jacket constricter.

Speaker 5 (17:57):
Of you gotta have well, you gotta have the policy
and play used to be able to do it though.
The flex is putting a policy in place and saying
you can't do this, or you can't do that, or
this is how it supposed to look.

Speaker 1 (18:08):
Well, that's the thing is you'd like not to actually
have people realize there's policies in place until they until
you're gone, you know, like you'd like them to not
realize there's certain things in place until after you leave,
and you're like, wait a second, who did this?

Speaker 2 (18:23):
And then you're gone, and so you can't be blamed.
Now it's the next guy's problem. Zero entries part of
the h A, Well, yeah, you shouldn't be. You definitely
should be.

Speaker 7 (18:31):
There should be Yeah, worres parts they like they want
you to knark on people.

Speaker 8 (18:35):
I'm just not about like let them. I don't care
if somebody breaks the rules, I don't care.

Speaker 4 (18:38):
You have a few of all people like somebody if
somebody sifted through the coolers in your backyard. They go,
hold on a second, should we find this person? No,
this guy's blasting Margueritaville at all hours of the day.

Speaker 7 (18:51):
That's true.

Speaker 2 (18:52):
Quick question, ly do you have alcohol served at every HOA?

Speaker 8 (18:55):
Meaning, well, now it's zoom, it's all zoom. But I'm
definitely drinking during the meeting, that's for sure.

Speaker 5 (19:02):
Do you do syber zoom and drinking? Why is it
bartender for cyber cyber meeting?

Speaker 7 (19:11):
It's California, Brady. We we do everything on zoom.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
I mean they've realized it's over, right, it's all over.

Speaker 5 (19:18):
It is over.

Speaker 4 (19:19):
Oh man, it is I love is well, yeah, of
course I'm drinking. It's an a joy meeting.

Speaker 2 (19:24):
Why wouldn't that be?

Speaker 4 (19:25):
So that's that's what you want, implementing and getting policy done.
Is the guy who's gotta got a bottle of gin?
Next to them? Is they're arguing over whether or not
you can stay in the pool past eight pm? That's fun,
all right? So there it is. Uh So that's a
that'll wrap up our coverage of the Christmas Day slate
for the NFL, at least what we know so far.

(19:46):
Raiders Chiefs and Eagles Giants and and Raiders Chiefs is
on Nickelodeon. So there's that. Two pros and a cup
of Joe. Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn Jonas
knocks of the air. All right, it's coming up next.
Could somebody be on their way out of the NFL,
maybe one of the all time greats at their position.
We'll tell you who that is. Here on Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (20:06):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 4 (20:20):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe Here Fox Sports Radio,
LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you coming up
later on this hour. We'll call it about twenty minutes
from now. We are going to have a Nether edition
of You In or You Out as we close up
shop here on a Thursday morning. By the way, we
talked about bo Jackson, who claims to have hiccups for
going on ten months.

Speaker 2 (20:41):
Now.

Speaker 4 (20:41):
We're talking about some of the remedies. Lee's got this
remedy where you drink. You put a paper towel over
a cup and drink water out of it.

Speaker 2 (20:51):
Which makes no sense, but he swears it.

Speaker 1 (20:55):
Just pour a glass of water in your shoe after
you ran about three miles and drink that.

Speaker 2 (21:00):
Maybe that'll that'll do something well.

Speaker 4 (21:01):
People are setting in these other remedies that they've got.
Like somebody says a scoop of peanut butter, like, doesn't
that create hiccups?

Speaker 2 (21:08):
Like that feels like why would that create hiccups?

Speaker 4 (21:10):
I don't know, Like it's really dry and it kind
of clogs up back.

Speaker 5 (21:13):
Right, Doesn't that choke you out? I mean.

Speaker 2 (21:17):
Much too much?

Speaker 5 (21:18):
Too much peanut butter is going to choke you out?

Speaker 4 (21:21):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (21:22):
I feel like it makes you sound like, uh, Hooty
and the Blowfish.

Speaker 4 (21:25):
You know it could.

Speaker 2 (21:29):
Someone who Dolphins made me a cry.

Speaker 5 (21:34):
Dolphins made me cry lyrics, isn't it?

Speaker 4 (21:38):
That band stinks? The talented guy South Carolina guy, I
love Darius Rucker. That band is dreadful, disheveled, Jonas Fish.
That's not be ridiculous here? Would would you rather high

(22:02):
five somebody or get electrocute?

Speaker 1 (22:04):
Darius Rutger has been awesome throughout every part of his
musical career.

Speaker 4 (22:11):
Yeah, he's been a great career. I'm just saying that
portion of his career it was not.

Speaker 2 (22:15):
That's just your opinion, and it's an awful opinion.

Speaker 4 (22:18):
Another guy says that you hold your breath spoon of sugar,
or in desperate times, you gag yourself or force yourself
to puke. That seems a bit drastic. I'll be honest
with you.

Speaker 1 (22:28):
That seems so you guys want Bo Jackson to force
him self refute a guy who's probably one of the
greatest athletes. Specimens are humanity's ever seen? We want him
to subject himself to that?

Speaker 2 (22:42):
I don't think so.

Speaker 1 (22:43):
I think this is what this is one for modern
science and technology.

Speaker 2 (22:47):
They need to figure this out. Yeah right.

Speaker 4 (22:49):
It just it comes to to be that when kickups
pop up and people are dealing with that stuff and
they got problems like you just got to handle it
all natural, You don't, you don't need anything artificial? Yea
nothing art I'm with, Come on, man, just you know, yeah, nothing.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
But by the way, Bo knows natural?

Speaker 5 (23:07):
Yeah? Does he know natural?

Speaker 2 (23:09):
Sure?

Speaker 6 (23:10):
Artificial?

Speaker 5 (23:11):
Am I supposed to be thinking artificial and natural?

Speaker 2 (23:14):
And is that?

Speaker 5 (23:15):
Is that the segue that you guys got going on?
Because I'm gonna tell you right now. When it's artificial,
sometimes you get some injuries like thirty two percent more
non contact knee injuries. In fact, American grass eat company Pennington, well,
they're on a mission of band turf fields. They want
to replace them with real natural grass with hashtag flip

(23:36):
the turf movement. Make sure you go to Pennington dot
com slash flip flip the Turf now to learn more
and sign the petition for teams to hashtag flip the
turf to real grass.

Speaker 4 (23:49):
So I'm talking about broadcast professionals here, by the way,
at developing a situation here in southern California. We've got
a place.

Speaker 5 (23:57):
You should eat natural grass to get rid of, you know,
chronic hiccups. Yeah, maybe that's what you should do.

Speaker 4 (24:06):
It could be. Uh, there's a there's It was just
a police chase that just ended out here in Burbank,
not far from the studios, and uh, apparently these suspects
are still on the.

Speaker 5 (24:16):
Loose and they can't find them.

Speaker 4 (24:17):
So the building, the car was smoking, and they exited
the car while it was still moving, and they're all
were they.

Speaker 5 (24:24):
Smoking or was the car smoking?

Speaker 4 (24:27):
Probably both.

Speaker 7 (24:27):
They're on north of Money Posta Street.

Speaker 2 (24:29):
Yeah, I'm a little butterfly. How Lee's gonna get roped
into this?

Speaker 4 (24:33):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (24:34):
Next thing, you know, like Lee, due to some unfortunate circumstance,
is getting arrested.

Speaker 4 (24:41):
Yeah, Lee, how close is that to your plate?

Speaker 7 (24:43):
Money Bosa in Griffith. That's uh, and that's not far.

Speaker 4 (24:46):
It's not far from what are we talking about?

Speaker 6 (24:48):
Like how many minutes?

Speaker 4 (24:48):
How many miles?

Speaker 7 (24:50):
Within five minutes with probably within five miles.

Speaker 4 (24:53):
All right there? It is next d to a meeting.

Speaker 1 (24:56):
You got those You're screwed, Yeah, you're gonnat caught up
in this somehow, dude.

Speaker 8 (25:00):
I caught the guy who broke into our garage and
I'm trying apparently he's been doing it all around the neighborhood.

Speaker 7 (25:06):
I got his I got a picture of him, I
got his license plate. Still nothing from.

Speaker 6 (25:09):
The Uh.

Speaker 2 (25:11):
You just identified Yes, correct, I identified him. That's a
big difference because I'm I don't.

Speaker 1 (25:15):
I don't picture you as being that that good samaritan
or that you know, like making a citizen's arrest orything
like that.

Speaker 5 (25:21):
Hey buddy, what are you doing? What are you saying?

Speaker 7 (25:24):
I can't do that?

Speaker 4 (25:24):
Get him to hold on a second. So some guy
broke into your garage. Yes, I didn't know USC's campus
was that close to the garage. It's interesting there were
petty thieves or just walking around stealing stuff.

Speaker 6 (25:35):
Interesting.

Speaker 4 (25:36):
I had no idea. Yeah, you know, apparently that goes
on at us. See, you didn't know that guys like
to take things. It's like to steal stuff. You know what,
if it's not aunt Becky, it's the NFL draft. Is
that a bike? Is that a Vikings jersey with a
one on it?

Speaker 5 (25:51):
I'll take that.

Speaker 2 (25:52):
Jeez.

Speaker 1 (25:55):
Well, here's the thing, is what are you talking about about?

Speaker 2 (26:02):
I just thought it wasn't Okay.

Speaker 4 (26:04):
Listen, I've just just pointed out, you know, not every detail.

Speaker 2 (26:08):
Yeah, okay, all right.

Speaker 4 (26:10):
So can we talk about Aaron Donald? Because people were
focused on one ad who left in a wheelchair after
getting hit in the face last night during an NBA game.
So now we transitioned from Anthony Davis to Aaron Donald,
who talked about the potential for retirement and what his
future with the LA Rams could look like. So let's
take a listen to number ninety nine of your LA Rams.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
After this last season and jury, did you contemplate retiring
at all?

Speaker 5 (26:37):
Not really, you know, honestly, you never want to, you know, in.

Speaker 10 (26:40):
Your career the way how it was last year, So
it never really crossed my mind. So I was, you know,
just trying to do everything I can to get myself
healthy to be here to then I made a commitment
to this organization and do everything I can to do
my part. Obviously it's different than what we've seen in
the past few years, but a lot of young guys
will have to step up and have to be a
used part to with us, you know, half success.

Speaker 4 (27:01):
So there it is Aaron Donald who says didn't want
to go out like that last year. Is he meaning
that if they would have been good last year, he
would have been ready to walk away. Because I think
it's only a matter of time, within a year or so,
that he's gone. I just think it's over, ready to
move on.

Speaker 2 (27:16):
He's got nothing to prove.

Speaker 1 (27:17):
Man, He's a first Ball Hall of Famer and he's
been maybe the most dominant in my lifetime defensive player.
Now look, I know, LT you got other players you
can throw in the mix. I'm just saying that sustained
period of success he's had at his position. I don't
think I've seen anything in my lifetime like it, at

(27:38):
least that I can recall. I mean, you're talking about
what is he a seven time All Pro? Yeah, he's
a bunch of defensive Player of the Year or at
least been in up like top three I feel like
almost every single year, with the exception of when he's
gotten hurt.

Speaker 4 (27:56):
He's fantastic. Seven time All Pro, obviously got the Super.

Speaker 2 (28:00):
Yeah, He's been in a Bowl every single year of
his career.

Speaker 4 (28:03):
The Defensive Player of the Year three times. Yeah, it's
it's pretty fantastic.

Speaker 1 (28:08):
It was Defensive Rookie of the Year, Defensive Player of
the Year, he was runner up for Defensive Player of
the Year. He's i mean literally been top three out
outside of that a couple other times, it's just top five.
Like I think, every single season, with the exception of
his rookie season and last year, which he still made
a Pro Bowl, but again only played in eleven games.

Speaker 5 (28:29):
I definitely think that's what he meant, like, didn't want
to go out that way, like leave the game.

Speaker 2 (28:36):
End up being defensive player there this year, and then
say right.

Speaker 5 (28:39):
I'm up as possible. I mean, I've seen a couple
of workouts they posted of him this offseason. He's a
he's not messing around.

Speaker 2 (28:53):
Let me say this aboutim two.

Speaker 1 (28:54):
He's done so much for positions outside of the quarterback position.
Contractually with the mount he's gonna pay I believe he's
the highest paid defensive player at the moment, but the
way he's even gone after money to be able to
push that forward for other defensive players, that's huge. Like

(29:15):
his legacy on the field is proven and all that,
but now it's the business side of it, and he's
done exactly what you should do when you have leverage
and you are that good, which he is. And some
people might feel like, well, he's taking advantage of the team,
but the truth of the matter is when you sign
a big deal like he has and you get inked
up and you set the bar again, you're helping everyone

(29:37):
who comes behind you, because trust me, no owner, no
team wants to see guys who are as good as
he is, where you're like an all time great be
able to sit there and say, hey, I want to
be compensated like it too, because then they know the
next guy that comes along he wants to try to
reset that bar.

Speaker 2 (29:53):
Weset that market.

Speaker 1 (29:54):
They want guys to take team deals, team friendly deals,
and it's not in the best interest of future players.
So that's the other thing is, like he said, obviously
the impact he's out on the field, but even from
a business perspective and the way he structure contracts. He's
played a big, big role in changing I think you
know the financial you know wherewithal for so many other

(30:16):
players as well.

Speaker 4 (30:17):
If he plays obviously this year, coming up with the
contract added on to what he's already earned, who will
have made in his career just under one hundred and
sixty million dollars.

Speaker 5 (30:25):
Good for it? Yeah, good for hell? Not bad, blessed,
not bad at all?

Speaker 4 (30:30):
Pa, Baby, that's right.

Speaker 5 (30:32):
Pittsburgh. Yeah, don't just say Pa for one.

Speaker 4 (30:36):
Two ugh Carson Street Yeah, ben Hills, Yeah, Uve pet Hills, Frankstown, Yeah,
going Frinkstown Road.

Speaker 5 (30:43):

Speaker 2 (30:50):

Speaker 2 (33:32):
Hit there out.

Speaker 4 (33:34):
All right, lead the lab.

Speaker 7 (33:35):
What do we got let's start here. A happy birthday
to mister Cam Newton. He turns thirty four today. Are
you guys enter out on him getting another chance here
in the NFL?

Speaker 5 (33:44):
And and come on, he's too good, not too you know.

Speaker 1 (33:48):
And again there's a lot of dynamics that play a
role in that as far as the opportunity, but in
hopefully gets another shot.

Speaker 4 (33:57):
Love Cam Newton. Now do you think when you come back,
he's going to get actually a realistic shot to be
a starter or it's going to be Cam, You're going
to be a backup?

Speaker 6 (34:05):
Take it or lead.

Speaker 1 (34:06):
No, that's the problem is I think he knows that
there's not really an opportunity out there for him. I
mean again, I would think that if you look at
the Washington Commandos, he would be you know, better suited
to be the starter for them. Maybe you could say
that too about Atlanta. But if those teams don't want
to make that decision, then they're probably bringing him in saying, hey,
you got a backup and so there's an injury or

(34:27):
until we feel like this this young quarterback isn't the answer,
whether that's Des been ridden in Atlanta or Sam Howe.
So I just you know, again, my view of it's
very different from the teams because I think both those
would be better.

Speaker 5 (34:40):
Off with cam.

Speaker 8 (34:44):
Guys, we have a sick New World festival that is
a System of a Down, Corn, Deftones and Incubus playing
in Las Vegas.

Speaker 6 (34:52):
You guys enter out on this and.

Speaker 4 (34:55):
I think the only band I haven't seen of that
group live is coorn So System of a Down, Incubus, Deaftones,
I've seen.

Speaker 5 (35:03):
A bond, But have you seen them together?

Speaker 4 (35:06):
No, but they're not always together.

Speaker 7 (35:07):
I've seen Deaftones and Incubists together.

Speaker 5 (35:09):
This isn't them all together.

Speaker 4 (35:12):
Yeah, Well they play and they're not playing all at
the same time.

Speaker 5 (35:15):
It's I mean, they're not on the stage at the
same time, but it's the same concert, right.

Speaker 4 (35:19):
Come on, man, if you've seen one, you've seen you're fine.

Speaker 5 (35:24):
Aren't they all coming on to the stage at some
point for this show?

Speaker 2 (35:27):
Yes?

Speaker 5 (35:28):
Jonas, Why are you trying to confuse the conversation.

Speaker 4 (35:31):
I'm not trying to confuse it.

Speaker 5 (35:32):
I'm just telling they're not coming on at the same time.
I mean, nobody said they're coming on at the same
exact time. But it's the same concert, right, I.

Speaker 4 (35:39):
Mean, listen, if I'm in, if you want to stay
around for that entire thing, I'm going. Are you going
to this?

Speaker 6 (35:43):
LeVar?

Speaker 5 (35:43):
Yeah, I'm gonna go. Let's see if I could get backstage.
I want I want to. You know, I've introduced cut
Charlotte onto stage once before, have you really? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (35:52):
That band stinks too? The Sun Good Charlotte? What an
awful band?

Speaker 5 (35:58):
I introduced jay Z on stage before.

Speaker 4 (36:01):
He's good.

Speaker 2 (36:03):
How that sound like? What that look like?

Speaker 5 (36:05):
Oh? Man? I crushed it? Man?

Speaker 4 (36:07):
Did you sound different doing that? And good Charlotte?

Speaker 3 (36:10):
Like?

Speaker 2 (36:10):
What was I didn't introduce?

Speaker 5 (36:11):
I did not, And it was the same venue too,
by the way, when I did it, it was in DC.

Speaker 2 (36:16):
Is that RFK?

Speaker 4 (36:17):
Matter of fact, Good Charlotte played at RFK.

Speaker 5 (36:20):
They're from d C.

Speaker 4 (36:23):
I mean, how many people were there, Let's be honest,
A lot, all right for you? And then they left
after you made your introduction.

Speaker 6 (36:31):
That's how about that?

Speaker 5 (36:34):
That that group stinks.

Speaker 2 (36:37):
That's a shirt.

Speaker 5 (36:39):
That's another shirt, that's your that's your jam.

Speaker 1 (36:44):
Lee?

Speaker 4 (36:45):
What else we got?

Speaker 8 (36:46):
That band stinks? Whether you're in or out on this
I know we're all fans of Wendy's. Here are you
guys in or out on their French toast sticks? This
is actually courtesy of Burdo here to turn me onto this.

Speaker 2 (36:59):
So good.

Speaker 1 (37:00):
I ate way too many during a little commercial shoot
we did for it.

Speaker 6 (37:04):
They are joking, Brady, are you being serious?

Speaker 2 (37:07):
Yeah, I'm dead serious. So we do commercials. They have
like a spit bucket where you're supposed to spit the
food out. I kept telling them. I was like, well,
I want it to look realistic. I don't want to
like fake like them eating.

Speaker 4 (37:19):
Wait, is that really they have a spit bucket for commercial.

Speaker 1 (37:22):
Yeah, because you do like twenty five thirty takes, so
I mean you literally, it's like most people don't eat
all of it.

Speaker 2 (37:28):
I told you that. I learned that lesson with the s.
We had like twenty takes and I drank like twenty
protein shakes.

Speaker 5 (37:36):
It was.

Speaker 2 (37:37):
It's a mistake.

Speaker 4 (37:37):
I'm like, wow, I had no idea.

Speaker 6 (37:40):
That's interesting. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (37:41):
Do you get any free stuff from Wendy ship it
over to bird? Oh, come on, let's make this.

Speaker 5 (37:45):
Yeah, next time I do. Got you covered all the
toes sticks. I'm in on the toest.
