Speaker 1 (01:36):
Right? Come on?
Speaker 2 (01:38):
I got to Miami Heat excited. Yeah about damn time,
South Meloria they pull one together.
Speaker 1 (01:44):
Stop stopped history. Yeah, it was a daunting task.
Speaker 4 (01:48):
Although now I'm just concerned for Joe Miszula, you know,
I mean, he wasn't a good coach. Jonas wanted to
fire him. That he was a good coach. It was
almost a historic comeback, and now they lose a game
seven at home, and now it's probably back to Jonas
thinking he should be fired again.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
I listen.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
All I did was point out that there's some thought
that he could be out if they got swept, and
there was a real thought.
Speaker 4 (02:08):
I was not the only is that thought gone now?
Speaker 2 (02:11):
I think that thought was gone after they brought him
back and they tied it up three apiece, But it.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
Was a shoot around last night.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
That thought was there, And ultimately that's not really the story.
The story is no, it is the Miami Heat getting
it done. Just everybody breaking out the violin. Well, I
mean it was like LaVar, have you heard anybody else
talk about Joe Missoula could be in trouble if the
Celtics got swept.
Speaker 4 (02:38):
But doesn't that seem like just a bad take if
literally two games after that, when they started to come back,
that was never even a thought or consideration. And then
I think what you saw last night was just an
example of I mean, they were unlucky. If Tatum doesn't
get hurt in the first twenty seconds, thirty seconds, that's
probably a different ballgame.
Speaker 1 (02:59):
At least.
Speaker 4 (03:00):
It was like that took all the wind out of
the sales of Boston, all the moment of everything else,
and you knew he was just wasn't gonna be able
to move and play the exact same way.
Speaker 1 (03:09):
He's winning d up. I'll say this, I won't say
it was a bad take at three to OHO. It
was not a bad take at three to Erho because
most all these coaches that got fired losing in the playoffs,
I won't say three to zero hit them heading towards
a straight sweep. It was a bad take Jonas. But
I will say it's interesting that at at that at
(03:31):
the point in time that they did tie up the series,
that everybody had to change their approach as to how
they were talking about the Celtics head coach.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
I mean, it just is what it is. That's the
NBA playoffs. It's a roller coaster feeling from game to game.
One team's this, one team's that this, Like it just
felt like going and you got a hashtag that by
the way, this league, it felt like going into last night.
If there was going to be a team that was
going to blow an opportunity at history, it would be
the Celtics, and would be against a team like the Heat,
(04:02):
who apparently just don't give a rip about what happened
in Game six and their heart getting ripped out because
they got in there. They got on a roll after
the Tatum injury and that game wasn't close.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
Well, apparently the Celtics didn't care either. I mean, your
boy Jalen Brown, Dang, there had what a triple double
with turnovers being one of the categories of the triple double.
I mean, but do you have like eight or nine
turnovers in the game like that? I mean, they shot poorly.
If I guess, if you're going to go out, go
(04:32):
out the way that you play your style of ball.
But that just that's a mind blower to me that
you would come out in the final game of the series,
you're at home and you can't find the rim, like
you can't find the bottom of the net, like I don't.
That's just very perplexing. It was a very it was
(04:53):
a very disheartening Game seven like that to me, for
all the build up of it. I guess you could
look at Miami and say, if you're a Miami fan,
you could say, look at the grit and the intestinal
fort two that they came out with to play that game.
But in reality, I would have liked for it to
(05:15):
have been a much more competitive Game seven. It was
just not It just did not seem competitive. It made
you wonder, how did it get to a Game seven?
How did they pull three games in a row. I
know Tatum hurt his ankle and he heard it early,
but you still have other players during the course of
the series, during the course of the playoffs that have
(05:35):
stepped up and have done things. Marcus spart has stepped up.
Jalen Brown is an All NBA or he needed to
step up. You know, guys needed to step up, and
they did it. They didn't step up, and it did
seem like very much of a competitive game.
Speaker 4 (05:50):
For Game seven, it's fairly simple. When you go nine
for forty.
Speaker 1 (05:54):
Two from three, is that bad? It's atrocious the shoot around?
They lost the shoot around, I mean.
Speaker 4 (06:00):
But that's what the NBA has become is more often
than not, you look at who shoots better at three,
especially the amount of three as usually are taken, and
that tells you the story, and especially if you start
to hit early. And it wasn't like the heat were
necessarily hot early. They just hit a few more. I
think the Celtics were zero for eleven and then it
was a Horford hit the first one. They're like one
(06:20):
for twelve, and when you're watching that you're like, well,
they're gonna keep shooting because that's what they do. And
eventually you'd have to think the odds are in their
favor to start shooting better. But they really hadn't been
great the past two games, and every time they lost
it was a product of just not shooting the three ball.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
Well seven last game two from three.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
Yeah, that's horrible, man.
Speaker 4 (06:42):
And go back through their losses, like look for the
first three games, like they just when they don't shoot, well,
it's a wrap they don't have the ability to. I
don't know if it's just have an inside presence, find
ways of getting to the rack and just getting a
few buckets to like keep them amendumber, keep them in games.
But it I mean at game seven at home, I mean,
if there's no better or more familiar confines, and it
(07:03):
didn't feel it feel like they could really put up
the type of you know, mass, I don't know you
thought they were going to.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
If you guys got forty two opportunities at just a
wide open three you think you get it nine shots?
Speaker 1 (07:16):
Yes, yeah, I don't know, really wide open.
Speaker 4 (07:21):
I'm not saying like an even at a game like
jumps like shoot around, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
To shoot around. I don't know. Oh yeah, it's from
NBA three. I don't know. Forty two times hit more than.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
Nine a twenty three feet six inches. You can bang
that out, LaVar from the corner.
Speaker 4 (07:35):
You ever seen Hoosiers? Yeah, I'm like Jimmy Chitwood in
that thing.
Speaker 1 (07:39):
I mean, I believe you the same. I'm just saying, yeah,
missus Jayson, he's.
Speaker 4 (07:43):
Been working for a while. Man Chopper Quinn Tommy back
in sixth grade, I like it. Remember I jump threw
up a shot, hit that thing and he goes, hey, Son,
he goes, that's a jump shot. I go, what do
you mean? He's like, what you just did is a
jump shot. Because when you're young, you learned like a
set shot. You don't really know how to elevate and
then let that thing go at the peak of your release.
(08:04):
And I remember I did it once and it messed
me up. I was messed up for like a good
six months because then I was trying to figure out, well, Chopper,
when do I use the set shot? When do I
use a jump shot? He's like, Son, that's something you
got to figure out.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
I was like, oh, damn profound that.
Speaker 4 (08:19):
Then I'm trying to figure this whole thing out, and
then finally I found it just coming around screens.
Speaker 1 (08:24):
Just what I could see you be a hooper? What
I could see that you got a hooper's body. Yeah,
I would have been a face though. I would like
that's the type of dude. I was like, Look, I.
Speaker 4 (08:35):
Would have never. I would never let you had a chance. Look,
I wasn brady going baseline, running around and run into
the whole thing.
Speaker 1 (08:41):
I would have got you to put that right on,
right on your face. It's a movie target, right on
that moving target. There's no post. Look at this, Look
at this pretty mother like them in his face. And
I would have officiated the game. You guys were They
would have kicked me out, but it would have been okay.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
Yeah, but then I would have opened up a burner
account and defended myself on Twitter.
Speaker 1 (09:06):
You know that's a great point. That's a great point.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
Oh yeah, the Eric Lewis Lewis, Yes, it's great.
Speaker 4 (09:15):
But the confirmed that is, that's not like a rumor
like it's confirmed.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
It Well, email somebody who used the account said it
was his brother. I don't know if they found the
email account attached to it, but somebody said that it
was his brother responding and then deleted the account right afterwards.
It's him. I don't know how how anybody believes that
it's not, but yeah, that's the investigator night.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
No, he was not.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
And there was some speculation that the two officials, Tony
Brothers and Scott Foster. The Heat were zero to ten
this year in dealing with those two officials, so there
was some thought that maybe they were in a rough
way when it came to the Celtics, but as Brady
pointed out, Jason Tatum got hurt, the Celtics were never
able to recover. It felt like they were never in
that game. And then Eric Spolstra, the coach of the
(10:00):
Miami Heat on their way to another NBA Finals, he
spoke after the game about this Heat team and just
sort of their mindset as they approached last night in Boston.
Speaker 5 (10:12):
We don't care what the rest of the world is saying.
We don't care who's criticizing who. You got to line
up in between these four lines and let's figure this out.
And I think that's the nature of this team that
I think, you know, a lot of people respect what
happened last year. You know, obviously was on our mind
and it drove us this year. And that's what you
always hope for competition, that it can drive you to
(10:34):
a higher level. And I think that's what you saw
in this series this year, to be able to have
to overcome a lot of stuff.
Speaker 1 (10:42):
Cannot am I the only one that came away from
Ernie doing his interview with Bam and Coach Spochstra wondering
what the hell was the video that they watched. Bam
was like, yeah, we watched his inspiration rational video that
got is going. And Ernie was like, well, so what
(11:03):
was the video about? He's like, da, da da, don't
worry about that, this, that and the other. And then
Spolstra he stops the interview with Bam because Bam didn't
answer the question asked Spostra the same exact question. Spolstra
grabs him by his shoulders, like with both hands and
says the video isn't important and then starts the answer
(11:25):
in a different way. I wonder what the video was like?
Was it was it Bucky Larson, you know, because Bucky
couldn't get right. Bucky couldn't get right, And they said
it was a movie of motivation and motivated them to
be able to finish and get it done. You know,
Bucky Larson is one of those inspirational movies where you know,
(11:45):
he figured out how to finishing and get it done,
and I mean he was really good at it.
Speaker 5 (11:51):
You know.
Speaker 4 (11:51):
I did not think we're gonna mention Bucky Larson.
Speaker 1 (11:54):
I just started thinking, what type of movie was it
that they watched where both player and coach danced around,
just like it's as simple we watch remember the Titans,
We watched Hoosiers, Like, I mean, what was it? What
was the movie.
Speaker 4 (12:11):
I've told you before a game? We watched the Bronx Tail,
the scene when they walk into the bar and.
Speaker 1 (12:17):
The Biker game.
Speaker 4 (12:18):
Now you can't leave, Now you can't leave. Now you
can't leave, And I remember thinking like this is pretty dope.
This is a badass before we're got to ask whoop
the next day. But that but but before the game,
it felt great.
Speaker 1 (12:33):
Man. Before it's like, oh man, now you can't you
can't leave Wesse.
Speaker 4 (12:38):
Now use can't leave.
Speaker 1 (12:40):
They beat that ass too. I got a theory and
knocked the bikes over. I think that they watched the
movie The Town, and I think they did so because
Joe Missoula said not long ago that he watches that
movie about four times a week, and I think they
were probably yeah, that's what he said. He said he
watches The Town probably about four times a week. And
I think they want to detrol Joe Missoulain the Celtics.
(13:03):
They didn't want to go pop. I mean, that's a
nice that's a nice that's a nice pool, and I
think eventually it'll come out. That's a nice pool. But
they did not want to say what the movie was,
which I thought was like peculiar, Like maybe that's like
whoa Like why you don't want to say what the
movie was? But maybe that's what it was.
Speaker 4 (13:21):
Maybe they got some Santapio's. You know, they sit down,
they watch the Town, how you're doing a little little
little Boston.
Speaker 2 (13:26):
And there off Santapio's. Is that is that a place
in Boston?
Speaker 4 (13:30):
People in Boston?
Speaker 1 (13:31):
Though Okay, maybe it was at the part South.
Speaker 4 (13:35):
Though regardless of the outcome last night, I don't feel
like either of these teams have a shot versus Denver.
Speaker 1 (13:45):
Yeah, I think this is the better matchup. I hate
to say it, because you have two very gritty and
very very physical teams that are about to play and Bam,
I don't think we'll back down to to the Joeker obviously,
Butler is not going to back down. So that's going
to be a cool matchup, depending on who's who's guarding him.
(14:07):
But you know, when you think of Jamal Murray, which
it may be, what's my guy, Gordon, Gordon may be
the one that is tasked with with Gardon Butler.
Speaker 2 (14:18):
You think heat Nuggets is a better matchup?
Speaker 1 (14:20):
Yeah, I do.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
I think Celtics Snuggers well.
Speaker 1 (14:22):
Here's okay. While I would love to agree with you,
they're just wildly inconsistent. They're just they're just so inconsistent
that it's just like I just don't think that they
would have been able to deal with Denver. I think
it would have been a sweet that would have been
a sweet matchup. But this one, I think that they're
(14:45):
really going to bang, Like this is going to be.
It might not be the sexiest of matchups, but I
think this is the right one.
Speaker 4 (14:52):
You know, is such a like he's just a different
player than like I feel like any anything else type
of player in the NBA right now, with his skill
set for as big as he is and how he
plays He's just a tough matchup and the way they
facilitate their offense. But I'm curious, Jonas, because usually you're
up on these sorts of things, you know, usually you
(15:13):
get an idea as far as like Game one NBA Finals,
there's got to be a line out as far as
whose favor who's not. I feel like if the Celtics
were favored by what was it last night, seven and
a half.
Speaker 1 (15:25):
Eight and a half, It went down to seven, right
down to seven.
Speaker 4 (15:28):
Okay, you wouldn't you have to think that Denver is
going to be a favored by at least that with
the rest the fact that they've they've largely been a
better team the entirety of the season. Even if you
think it's a good matchup, I would think the opening
line would be somewhere around seven and a half, eight.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
Would or not eight and a half. So the Denver
Nuggets are eight and a half point favorites. It's in Denver.
And also, by the way, dude, all that yeah, and
look the heat. They plan to travel to Denver right afterwards,
so they I think a lot of people looked into
that and said, oh my god, they're already guaranteeing the win.
They traveled, they packed twice. They're going straight to Denver
(16:03):
after the game last night, So what are they supposed
to do? Go back to Miami and then fly to
Denver Like that was the plan. That really would have
pissed me off though, if they would have lost that
game last night and they would have had a pack
twice because I hate packing, that would have pissed me off. Yeah,
not at all, And I'm not good at it, No,
I'm not. You got your Brady's got a system. He
won't share the info with me. He just keeps everything
(16:25):
a secret. He got that military packing staff. Yes, ro
they don't never look like they have a whole bunch
of bags.
Speaker 4 (16:31):
Now you get everything into one bag? Yeah, wow, that's
what you travel light man?
Speaker 2 (16:35):
How do you do it?
Speaker 1 (16:37):
How you do it?
Speaker 4 (16:38):
You got As Chopper goes back to the jump shot story,
I'm telling you this is such crap that.
Speaker 1 (16:44):
Yeah, but something tells me he's not.
Speaker 2 (16:46):
He's going to pass it along to you, and then
I'm just gonna get caught in the middle of the travel.
Speaker 4 (16:50):
He gives you a beer and then he starts to
explain it, and then he passes along another beer, and
then he's like, not even through the first part of
how you go about packing, and then then there's a third
beer in your hand, and for you, that slights out
my friend, like you are you are making it to
wherever that story was going because you got three beers
in you And then the span of about thirty minutes.
Speaker 2 (17:08):
Yeah, but you guys, you guys are onto that bud
Light stuff like I'm into like I pas and things
like that.
Speaker 1 (17:12):
I'm not really did you see the new bud Light?
Speaker 5 (17:14):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (17:15):
Did you see the new bud Light A model?
Speaker 3 (17:18):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (17:18):
Yes, yes, I did see that. By the way, making
America great again? Yeah, definitely, there is all that. All right,
So it is two pros and a cup of Joe
Here on Fox Sports Radio. It's Lebar Arrington, Brady Quinn,
Jonas NOx with you. We're gonna have the usuals coming
(17:39):
up later on. We've got another edition of In case
you missed it, We've got some would you rather on
a Tuesday, We've got you in or you outed to
all yours a three hour extrapaganza here from the ti
raq dot Com studios. But we do have ourselves a
little bit of an issue at quarterback for one team
in the NFL. And now we have an idea why
(17:59):
somebody is unhappy about the situation. We'll get into that
for you. That's next here on Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 3 (18:05):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 1 (18:19):
That's the key, Jonas, He them, one man, you couldn't
even tell I was singing over that. No. I nailed
that one. That's how good your voice nailed it. Thank you.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
Hold the applause, telling you a C D C karaoke.
That's your move. You can only get one song and
though you'll blow your voice out, pull.
Speaker 1 (18:50):
The microphone up. Lee. Yeah, I brought the ribs in today.
Here we go, Q. I brought the ribs. Yeah, yeah,
you did. Tell the world. Damn time, man, tell the world,
Damn time tell the world.
Speaker 5 (19:07):
Lee.
Speaker 6 (19:08):
I had plenty of barbecue yesterday that blew all of
it out of the water.
Speaker 1 (19:12):
Bam, those are the best ribs I've ever had. Bam.
There you go the fat level. How about it? Charge?
How about it? Barbecue.
Speaker 4 (19:22):
Why was the fat level the first thing you started
off with?
Speaker 1 (19:24):
Because that was Leroy talking though as alter Ego was talking.
Speaker 4 (19:30):
I'm just saying, why was fat level the first thing
you had to bring up?
Speaker 2 (19:34):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (19:34):
It was a perfect amount.
Speaker 6 (19:36):
I was gonna say, it's just the perfect ratio of
fat meat.
Speaker 1 (19:41):
Yeah, all that good stuff. See Berto, Berto don't want
to Burdo don't want to try. He don't want to
put it in his mouth because he is cooking with
Berto and you know he he might have to deal
with some some harsh realities right now. See yeah, See
he's scared. I mean, it's too scared.
Speaker 2 (19:58):
It's forty three be forty three years old again, breakfast
three in the morning.
Speaker 1 (20:03):
You can't eat ribs for breakfast. I gotta I gotta
try to go to sleep. Okay, Well, all I'll say
is I've been ridiculed for lunch. I've been I've been
talked too bad. Every time I make some ribs, and
y'all say, and y'all and y'all say, you bringing in,
you're bringing the food. So I brought it in. Lee,
thank you, thank you for for jumping on them. I
(20:23):
heating them up for you guys. Eddie, if you'd like
to have at part take please partake. Yeah, I I
you know I have more in the refrigerator to heat
up if you guys need be. But I just want
to make sure that the world new I don't just
talk trash about what I do. I really do this.
Speaker 2 (20:41):
Hey, Berta, you notice that the only person that got
to have any of LaVar's ribs with Leroy.
Speaker 1 (20:47):
I mean, we're.
Speaker 2 (20:47):
Gonna we're gonna take this on a Tuesday morning. This
is acceptable, like this sort of thank you.
Speaker 4 (20:52):
I mean in defense of LeVar. You don't eat, so
I don't know that you count in that mix.
Speaker 2 (20:57):
Yeah, because I'm gonna eat barbecue at three twenty nine.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
In the morning.
Speaker 4 (21:00):
Okay, So now you're blaming on the time of day
that he brings this.
Speaker 1 (21:04):
But every time every time I come in and say
I made something great, way you bring.
Speaker 4 (21:15):
To make happy?
Speaker 1 (21:16):
Man?
Speaker 4 (21:16):
You can't.
Speaker 1 (21:17):
Berto was right there where you think I got to
talk like that I need to have breakfast.
Speaker 2 (21:23):
Why is he coming after our kinds.
Speaker 1 (21:25):
That I need to have breakfast. I'm forty three.
Speaker 2 (21:28):
Racers trying to get this.
Speaker 1 (21:31):
I had to be all sensitive. Now that's all right,
he's staying away.
Speaker 4 (21:36):
If there's any reason though I lead clears out of room.
I mean, I think that that probably lends you some insight.
Speaker 2 (21:42):
Oh, by the way, the reason why I said yeah
right to Eddie is because Lee's already, like said, he's
going to go back for more, like he might wipe
out that whole fridge.
Speaker 1 (21:49):
I'm excited that LeVar says there's more in the fridge. Yes,
I'm gonna there are more. Need Burtos right here. I'll
take a look at him.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
I'll be the judge of whether or not their quality ribs.
Speaker 1 (21:58):
Or I'll take a look at him, see if they
passed the eyeball test.
Speaker 2 (22:03):
Here it is two pros and a cup of Joe
here on Fox Sports Radio. By the way, we have
a story coming up in a little over fifteen minutes
from now that's going to make you think twice about
whether or not you want to attend a sporting event.
So that'll be yours again fifteen minutes from now from
the tyrack dot Com studios. The hell's going on with
the Raiders quarterback situation?
Speaker 1 (22:22):
Man? Like that messy.
Speaker 2 (22:24):
The more the more we get these details about Jimmy
Garoppolo having a surgery, the news conference was delayed, and
the provisions in the contract that were a basically, if
you can't pass the physical, you may not ever play
a game for us here in Las Vegas.
Speaker 1 (22:39):
It just makes you wonder, so.
Speaker 2 (22:40):
Why'd they turn their backs on Derek car Agan?
Speaker 1 (22:42):
Correct? Really today, don't technically really have a quarterback? You do?
What do you get? Jared Stidham? Okay, so that's what
you're going.
Speaker 2 (22:50):
With and Jay Schrader, I believe are the two starters
for the Raiders. Now, all right, what the f man
is going on with Jimmy Garoppolo's and uh and the
and the situation there which, by the way, the Tom
Brady speculation. Uh, some of the sports books offshore have
put Tom Brady atop the list is the starting quarterback
(23:12):
Week one for the Raiders. So for a guy who's
trying to vie to be an owner, now he's been
thrown into the mix here and now maybe this does
make some sense as to why DeVante Adams was a
little pissy about the way things were being handled over
the past several days and weeks.
Speaker 4 (23:26):
So there's so many layers to this, like it depends
on what angle you want to you want to take
on all of it. Why didn't Garoppolo get surgery sooner?
Speaker 1 (23:37):
I'm with you on that one, unless we didn't know
exactly when the toe injury took place or the severity
of it.
Speaker 4 (23:46):
Of is it so or is it sounded like it
was it was more.
Speaker 1 (23:49):
Of midfoot midfoot? All right? Well, I don't know. I
almost feel like maybe it's because it got to the
point of where like something's it's not healing or it's
not getting better through through rehab and I probably need
to get a surgical procedure. That's the only thing I
could come up with as to why would you wait
(24:10):
so long? Wow?
Speaker 4 (24:12):
I guess he did this before though with San Francisco, Right,
he waited to get the searcher in the off season then,
and that sparked all of the I don't know, I
guess the back and forth and the press conferences that
we saw before last season, and.
Speaker 2 (24:25):
Now did they give him I'm trying to figure out
did they just offer him a deal and then look
at him physically afterwards?
Speaker 4 (24:36):
Because a lot of times what happens when free agency
starts is especially during the quote legal tampering period, is
you're able to talk, you're not actually able to have
the guy come in there and take a full physical
yet or until it's within his schedule. And obviously most
people are like, Hey, yeah, he's okay, he's got a
(24:58):
couple couple of bubs here and there, but we'll sort
that out through the physical. You know, let's let's get
this thing hammered out. And then you come to find out, oh, hey,
he might need some surgery this offseason. He's been rehabbiting,
it's not getting any better. You know, that stuff happens. Usually,
it doesn't happen when you've got a team that needs
(25:18):
a quarterback and this is the guy you're expecting to
be your quarterback that you're signing in free agency. But
those sorts of conversations and scenarios do play out. I
just I wonder if there was, you know, any remorse,
if you will, over the over how it was communicated,
whatever was wrong with Jimmy g And before all the
(25:39):
t's were crossed and the eyes were dotted, they put
in some language that protects themselves. But now it leaves
the Raiders in a position where I don't know what
they think is going to happen. Unless you want to
buy into the conspiracy theory that Tom Brady wants to
play for Vegas and you know he's willing to give
up the thirty seven and a half million per year
(26:01):
he'll eventually make in broadcasting and find a way of
getting every single owner to agree that he can invest
into the Raiders as a minority owner but also participating
in playing games, which it seems like all of that's
really an uphill battle, and it's hard to think that
that's the route this thing would go, as opposed to
(26:23):
maybe he's got some sort of agreement in principle and
you know he's able to later on. But again it
lends you to think that then Mark Davis could be
getting Tom Brady for the cheap, and I don't know
that that precedent wants to be set in the NFL.
So the whole thing when it involves Tom Brady and
actually playing, becomes rather messy, and it almost looks like
(26:47):
quite possibly the greatest troll job ever. Like I don't
know what happened New England, but if he actually was
trying to come back and once again be in the
same quarterback room as Jimmy G I don't know, maybe
because they were both hoping that they'd be that, like
I said last week, but you know the wingman together,
you know they could be single and go out and
do their thing. Now they're like, yeah, Vegas is the
perfect place. That's more the ploy behind it.
Speaker 1 (27:08):
I didn't put that together. Iceman and Iceman and who
they would crash?
Speaker 2 (27:13):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (27:14):
Who was what Iceman though? Goose and Goosen and guy right,
and then there was Iceman and who else I don't know,
but yeah, it would be those two.
Speaker 4 (27:25):
I thought Burdo would be on this for Top Gun.
Speaker 1 (27:28):
No Birdo's Birdos movie.
Speaker 2 (27:30):
By the way, I saw a Top Gun the new one, Maverick.
What an atrocious movie. Holy, what a bad movie. That's
so it's so cornball, cheesy, forced lines, like everybody like
they've got to reenact the scenes on the beach. Like
it's just the whole thing is so late.
Speaker 1 (27:49):
I mean, the fact that he was really flying the
the jets though, it was pretty cool. Who Tom Cruise was?
Oh yeah, was he really up there? Yeah, it was
really flying joints, he broke the sound barrier and all
that stuff. By the way, Iceman's wingman was slighter slider, Slider.
Speaker 4 (28:09):
Talk about a guy who just gets completely lost.
Speaker 1 (28:13):
Well, he's got a bad name.
Speaker 4 (28:15):
Yeah, it's just slider.
Speaker 2 (28:17):
Hey, everybody's got cool names. We're gonna name me after
an appetite. I don't know, man, slider is kind of
gangster to me, man, is it?
Speaker 1 (28:23):
Yeah? Yeah? You got you like about it? You got Well,
sometimes you gotta be able to slide, man, that's true.
Like you gotta be able to slide. Like that's a
smooth move. Slat you know what I mean? Like I
understand slider name of someone Slider. I mean I would
nickname somebody slider if if it made sense, but they
(28:43):
would literally have to be a smooth ass dude, like
like that dude be slatting. Yeah, he's a he's like
chronic slider, Okay. Or if you're a deep yeah there
you go. Yeah, yeah, I mean, be a DM slider,
so you earned the nickname. I don't think they had
d ms the slide in back then. And maybe emails
(29:06):
he was an email slidder. You know, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (29:09):
You've got some updates for us.
Speaker 1 (29:11):
What's happening there? Yeah, I mean what's going on over there?
Speaker 2 (29:16):
Lee joined these ribs, that's all.
Speaker 1 (29:18):
Yeah, the ribs.
Speaker 2 (29:20):
The Ribs got them all funny got them all fuzzy
in the morning. You're not going to hit the button
Berto what you know, hit the bird because you've been
calling him Leroy the whole morning. You've been calling him Leroy.
Speaker 1 (29:32):
You said he's on one, okay, just because he likes
my ribs, just because my ribs are possibly on par
with your brothers. You know, you want to you want
to have.
Speaker 4 (29:43):
Right now?
Speaker 1 (29:43):
Ye that, Yeah, that's what we're gonna just because just
because you know, me and Tyrone do this thing on
the grill, you know, you know it is what it is.
What's my brother Adam who does the ribs.
Speaker 2 (29:55):
But I think just for just for you, assuming that
it was Tyrone in this situation, I remember, know, I mean,
I don't know how we're this is going to be allowed.
Speaker 1 (30:03):
I just felt like, if you have the name Tyrone,
you gotta be able to cook rissrated, I mean, and
and your kids have to be like over six five
six five and light skin.
Speaker 2 (30:16):
You know, try six eight just say over six five, yeah, definitely.
Speaker 1 (30:26):
And and the car that you're drive in can actually
fit them in the back seat comfortably while you're in
the front seat comfortably, which, by the way, the missus
is just as tall as the rest of y'all.
Speaker 2 (30:36):
And well, yeah, going on, and by the way, not
one lie was told right now.
Speaker 1 (30:45):
Hey man. When they pulled off, but I saw the
car was like, damn. Cars used to literally be boats
on the on on on the road, all those old caddies.
I mean literally, we're boats and you had room.
Speaker 2 (31:06):
The first car I ever had was a seventy nine
Civil and it was like you couldn't park anywhere. You
had to wait and just assume that if there was
two spots open, you were gonna get one of those.
But it was a real pain in the ass. Nowadays
it's much easier.
Speaker 1 (31:21):
You know, you didn't hear of auto fatalities from the
structure of the car. Back then. It was more so
going through the windshield or something like that. Because let
me tell you something, to structure them type cars, you
could you could run, hey br br you can walk away.
Speaker 2 (31:41):
I got t boned by a civic driver's side and
her car was annihilated and mine had.
Speaker 1 (31:47):
Like a pretty good yeah, it had a like let
me pop that back out real quick, like are you okay?
I got a call nine one one for you. I'm fine?
Speaker 2 (31:57):
What about you right, bumpers on the other side of
the way.
Speaker 1 (32:00):
Yeah, no whiplash, no dub. You just absorbed them. You
absorbed them. Car wrecks. Man, it's crazy. H That was
a big ass car though it was it was a
boat on wheels. It was a big car. Anyway, I
don't even know how we got there. Yeah, but well
listen to me. The point is the situation called leroy
well yeah, I mean and sliders racist. Yeah, well, and
(32:23):
who knows Tom Brady. You know they was reporting he
was sliding, you know what I mean, definitely yeah, and
I know it was I know it was vehemently denied.
But I'm just saying, usually when you got to deny
that stuff, something happened.
Speaker 2 (32:38):
Although if she went and Tom Brady, I mean, kudos
jereff a rounding at her game.
Speaker 4 (32:42):
You know, oh wow, so you're giving her the credit.
Speaker 1 (32:46):
But then you know the rest of the family has
to now start dating quarterbacks because that is the trend,
you know, once one go.
Speaker 4 (32:54):
That's what I'm saying. So Jimmy, she lines up, He's.
Speaker 1 (32:56):
Like, okay, yeah, which one am I going to get?
Speaker 4 (32:58):
Let's do this?
Speaker 1 (32:59):
Which one's up for me? Yeah? I'm really gonna do this.
I'm really going to do this. They're going to have
to leave the music industry. I mean, Kim's already transitioning
to comedians, so yeah, I don't know. Yeah, but it
was kind of like the category like Kim and Courtney
went with the same category of type of dude. You know,
I don't know. Well, I'm gonna stay away from it
(33:20):
because my money ain't long enough to fight no legal
actions from them, so oh yeah.
Speaker 2 (33:24):
I mean it's it's definitely a gamble. And speaking of it,
it's Draftking sports Book is an official sports better partner

coming up here shortly. But for all the latest from
around the world. The sports make some noise for the
(33:45):
one and only Eddie Garcia.
Speaker 1 (33:46):
Yeah yeah, Eddie, thank you.
Speaker 7 (33:48):
Jonas appreciate that, Maddie. What's going on, hey, Eddie? Unlike Roberto,
I could probably eat some ribs. Yeah good, jump on them,
right to bed and.
Speaker 1 (33:56):
Fall right asleep. But That's not a problem for me. Yeah,
jump right on them. Burdo is just being soured, that's all,
you know. Yeah, he knows that them Ribs is banger
competition because Bertle's the only cook of the Yeah, yeah,
cook him with Berto until La showed up with them.
Get dang Ribs and knocked the building down, you know
what I mean.
Speaker 7 (34:14):
Yeah, I'm sure the Ribs are going to be better
than the NBA playoff game that we saw last night.
Game seven in the Eastern Commence Finals a pretty big
disappointment other than Miami Heat fans, of course, who saw
their team cruise to a one to ZHO three eighty
four win in Boston over the Celtics. Miami hit fourteen
three pointers, Jimmy Butler twenty eight points Caleb Martin twenty
(34:35):
six points lead the way. Boston was nine for forty
two behind the three point line. Those eighty two points,
they scored the fewest points scored in the game this
entire season. They picked a bad time for that. Jason
Tatum twisted his ankle in the first quarter, finished the
fourteen points. He was five to thirteen from the field
for Miami with that win. After taking a three zero
series lead. They now the record is now one hundred
(34:57):
and fifty one to zero for teams that take a
three zero series lead. In the NBA Playoffs, Miami the
first playing team to advance the NBA Finals, the second eight.
Speaker 1 (35:04):
Seed to do it.
Speaker 7 (35:05):
They'll face the Nuggets in Denver starting on Thursday. NHL
Stanley Cup Playoffs Game six, the Western Conference Finals, also disappointing.
Golden Knights rolled to a six to nothing win over
the Stars in Dallas. Thangas, jumping out to a three
nothing lead, never looked back. William Carlson two goals, Aiden
Hill stopped all twenty three shots he saw on the shoutout.
Vegas wins the series four two. They're making their second
trip ever to the Stanley Cup Final. They'll host the
(35:27):
Florida Panthers starting on Saturday. Now back to Brady Quinn,
the war Arrington and Jones Knocks Thetirack dot Com. Fox

It, and for that we turned it over to our
executive producer Lee app.
Speaker 4 (37:17):
More, who.
Speaker 6 (37:20):
Morning fellas Morning Morning, some auto sports news for you.
And in case you missed it, of course, Ryan Blaney
winning the Coca Cola six hundred, Morning Brady. And in
case you missed it over the weekend the Indy five hundred,
where Joseph Neugarten had won, you might have missed a
crash that sent a tire heading over the track fence,
(37:41):
narrowly missing the crowd, and heading into the parking lot
where it hit a car of a fan named Robin Matthews.
Her car name Snowball, crushed her car pretty good well.
Incomes Indianapolis Motor Speedway President Doug Bowles. He invited her
down to the brickyard where she kissed the bricks, and
uh offered her a ride home, not himself personally, but
got her right home. Yeah, so, uh some good news,
(38:02):
bad news for miss Robin Matthews.
Speaker 2 (38:04):
How's that happen in this day and age. They don't
have like a protective barrier or like netting or anything
like that. They can guard the cars in the parking lot.
I don't understand how that's even still happening in twenty
twenty three.
Speaker 1 (38:17):
Lee, you're the race car guy. Well yet for the sport.
Speaker 6 (38:20):
Yeah, it wasn't too uh turn two it was you know,
there is a science to it.
Speaker 1 (38:25):
It was pretty darn.
Speaker 6 (38:26):
Close, but I think it is accounted for that angle,
or at least it missed the crowd, I mean most importantly.
Speaker 1 (38:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (38:34):
Wow, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (38:36):
It's like that at boat races too. You know, you
go to them like regattas and stuff like that. You
could get tore out the frame if one of them
boats lose control.
Speaker 2 (38:46):
The spectators are that close and the regatta Yeah really absolutely.
Speaker 6 (38:51):
How about rally sport racing where it's on the dirt tracks.
Speaker 2 (38:54):
Oh yeah, that's on the side of the red that's
a little little dicey. What about the idiots to watch
the Tour de France. Yeah, just sit up there in
the mouth.
Speaker 1 (39:04):
Put their sign out there in the street, way too far,
you know.
Speaker 2 (39:07):
Rooting for a bunch of PD freaks, a bunch of
gas heads who are cruise.
Speaker 1 (39:11):
A ten speed. That's not nice. Listen, telling truce here,
what else we got, lad keeping the theme?
Speaker 2 (39:18):
Can he?
Speaker 6 (39:18):
Pickett's vehicle was stolen over the weekend. He was actually
at a at a car dealership filming a commercial. Meanwhile,
his twenty twenty three Genesis was stolen out of the
parking lot with the playbook for the Steelers inside, so
fans were nervous for a little bit. Only took thirty
minutes for cops to find the guy because the guy
who stole his car left his original car in the
(39:38):
parking lot, so they ran his plates, caught him within
thirty minutes.
Speaker 1 (39:41):
Left his brilliant absolutely brilliant.
Speaker 4 (39:46):
What's the point the playbook concern? What was an iPad?
Or it was like actually like a playbook, the old
school playbook.
Speaker 2 (39:53):
Yeah I need pages?
Speaker 1 (39:54):
A great question?
Speaker 4 (39:55):
Yeah, yeah, what's happened in Pittsburgh?
Speaker 3 (39:58):
