So we talked about this earlier in the show. The
big news was a deep dive done by The Athletic
(01:54):
Matt Schneidman of The Athletic talking about Aaron Rodgers and
his departure from Green Bay, his deteriorating relationship with Brian Gudakunz,
the general manager. Rogers spoke with The Athletic last week.
There was a part of it was a story that
came out in which Rogers called the Green Bay Packers
to see about getting Brian Goodakuns fired. When asked about that,
(02:18):
Rogers deferred to his agent, which tells me that that's
probably the case. That report was also out there via
Charles Robinson months ago, courtesy of Yahoo. And so there's
some other stuff in here where Rogers is talking about,
you know, his you know, like his being upset with
the organization and drafting Jordan Love when he felt like
(02:39):
they could have used some other help elsewhere. He also
talked about the DeVante Adams move. They ended up trading
DeVante Adams. The quote from Rogers in this was they
offered DeVante Adams less money than Christian Kirk, which was
eighteen million dollars a year. DeVante Adams was offended by that,
and so Rogers knew that although DeVante Adams and Rogers
(03:01):
had a great relationship, that he probably wasn't for long.
Just the way the negotiations were going, he was going
to eventually be elsewhere, and so it wasn't that much
of a surprise. The other interesting tidbit that came out
of this was there was some discussions about Rogers' commitment
last year. That was one of the reports that came
out that the Packers had some issues with it, and
(03:22):
so when Rogers wasn't there for voluntary OTAs when they
had young wide receivers to work with, that kind of
bothered the Green Bay Packers, and so Rogers pointed out
in this article via the athletic quote, when I'm in,
I'm all in, and you want to ride with off
season workouts. I won MVP without doing off season workouts?
(03:43):
Was my commitment any less than I'd say not at all.
The way that I come back to work, not just
physically in good shape, but mentally refresh is the best
thing for me to have the season I wanted to
have during those in Green Bay. I think that's just
a cop out written to try and find something to
sparage me about that honesty. When you know what the
off season workouts are really about, it's completely ridiculous. There
(04:06):
also was some discussion about him saying that the Green
Bay Packers complained about that, but yet they commended him
for his leadership during a difficult time last year. So
a lot of he said, he said, when it comes
to Aaron Rodgers, what I find funny about this whole
thing is that this article, and it's a deep dive
with quotes from Rogers recent quotes nowhere to be found
(04:30):
on ESPN. Can't find it anywhere. And it's funny because
last I checked, Adam Schefter works for ESPN, Diana Rassini
works for ESPN, and I seem to recall Aaron Rodgers,
letting them know they're not a part of my inner circle.
They don't know anything about me. Quote lose my number
was the viral video that went out and the viral
(04:53):
quote from Aaron Rodgers. And yet here he is talking
about everything that went down, a lot of comments about
the Devonte Adams situation, the trade, why it happened, miscommunication, accusations,
and nowhere to be found on ESPN. You find that
a little strange that ESPN wouldn't want to report on
(05:13):
any of this stuff either.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
Well, clearly they they don't want to find themselves in
a situation with the a rod you know, but listen,
that seems to be proper protocol for franchises. When things
seem to be going the wrong direction. You start to
put out little things like what Aaron Rodgers is talking about.
(05:38):
That's always been how how franchises have done things and
it's it's very it's very petty. It's it's to me,
it's it's very it's like juvenile. It's not, it's not,
it really is. It's just it's like, if things are
(06:00):
going wrong, then say it, rather than try to do
things where you're passively aggressive and how you're addressing what's
going on, because in the end, everybody's going to sit
there and sift through it anyway regardless. So instead of
being passive aggressive, like, oh, Aaron Rodgers commitment level, I
(06:22):
don't know, she's not here for offseason workouts. We just
we're not happy about that. We don't know if he's
all the way in okay. So that's your feeble minded
attempt to plant seeds not only in the community and
in the media so that it's for public consumption, but
(06:43):
also to the team, to the members of that football team.
And I don't know, I have no idea why front
office people do that chitanery. That's from a man Chad knock,
Chad Duke's Chad knocks, because it is it is not.
(07:08):
It is so easily comprehendible that it's bs.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
It's pretty transparent.
Speaker 3 (07:15):
So then now that makes you that paints a picture
of you that makes Aaron Rodgers even more sympathetic. To
the onlookers, to his teammates, to anyone who's paying attention.
It's like, oh, Aaron's right. When you do stuff like that,
people are like, yep, he's right. Like they're morons. They
(07:36):
don't they don't get it, Like the guy did just
get an MVP and he did things the same exact way,
and now all of a sudden you're saying that you're
questioning his commitment. You know.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
It's when remember Brian Guda Kunz talked after the decision
was made they were going to move on, and his
point was, well, listen, you know, we were hoping to
have conversations with Aaron himself, but unfortunately those didn't happen,
and there's all this and just I remember we talked
about it on the show and it was like, so,
let me get this straight. Greatest player in the history
(08:09):
of the franchise couldn't get a hold of him at all,
Like there was there was no way to have a conversation.
And I'm not saying that Rogers isn't you know, didn't
make things difficult. Maybe he was feeling like I either
want to retire. I want to go play somewhere else
because I just I don't want to be around these
people any longer. But Rogers pointed out, when they tried
to get together for this, you know, when he came
(08:30):
out of his darkness retreat, he heard the rumors about
them potentially wanting to move on, and Rogers pointed out,
he said, quote, did Brian text me more than I
texted him? Yeah? But did I ghost him? No? I
texted him back. There was back and forth that we
had and so much of So this story you want
to go with is me not responding back to you.
You're going to stand on this hill of austerity and
(08:52):
say that, arguably in the conversation of the best player
in your franchise history. You're going to say I couldn't
get a hold of him, and that's why we had
to move on. He said, come on, just tell the truth.
You wanted to move on. You didn't like the fact
that we didn't communicate all the time. Listen, I talk
to people that I like end quote.
Speaker 3 (09:09):
So I don't like you, Yes, And.
Speaker 1 (09:12):
It just felt like there was no recovering from what happened. Now,
even if they had won a Super Bowl after they
drafted Jordan Love and Rogers had won the two MVPs,
and they had won a super.
Speaker 3 (09:25):
Bowl, and I would have had to have kept winning
the super Bowl or an MVP.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
They would have been gone yeah, or he's gone yeah.
So it's just funny how but I can almost guarantee
you this, if the Packers have a response to this report,
I almost can assure you it'll come from ESPN.
Speaker 3 (09:43):
Yeah, I get where you're going. I can totally understand
where you're going with that. And with that being said,
at this point, who gives a damn yeah? You know?
I mean, really, you're going to get an opportunity to
move on from Aaron Rodgers and take control back over
your organization. You don't have you don't have a power
(10:06):
struggle anymore. Believe you, Me and I don't see that
in the near near future changing. So with that being said,
Aaron Rodgers is on to a different a different place,
in a different situation as well. He doesn't have to
worry about being looked at the way that he was
(10:28):
being looked at in Green Bay. He doesn't have to
worry and wonder about what his speech is going to
be when he steps to the podium for his his
his interviews, his media days to be able to defend himself.
Go figure like, can you imagine living I know I've
(10:48):
been through it. Could you imagine waking up every day
knowing that you have to put your thoughts together to
combat multiple brains that are trying to undermine you and
devalue you. But it's not like it's not about football anymore.
You're really thinking about other things that you have to
(11:11):
contend with when you're in the situation that Aaron Rodgers
was in in Green Bay. So now he's in a
comfortable environment for himself and an environment where he feels
probably very, very appreciated, And so both sides are where
(11:33):
they seemingly want to be, and both sides have an
opportunity to show the sports world, the media world, what
their capabilities are. And that's what makes it very to me.
That's what makes this entertaining. Not the relationship. It's a
foregone conclusion that the relationship was a fractured relationship.
Speaker 1 (11:54):
It's to your point, when it comes to the distractions
and everything that he was dealing with. This is probably
going to be the most free he's played in years.
If you think about it, because he does strike me
as somebody when there's a lot going on in his head.
I mean, for Christ's sake, the guy had to go
live in a hobbit hole for four days to try
(12:14):
and clear his mind. So when there's a lot of
stuff going on up there, maybe it's hard for him
to focus and keep track of everything and keep his
emotions in check. Still, he won a couple of MVPs,
and still he's pointing out, when I've got to battle
all of this stuff behind the scenes, it's hard for
me to play. That's why hasn't he seemed like just
a completely different person since he's gotten to the Jets.
(12:37):
He's going to Taylor Swift concerts. He's out there talking
about how great the organization is, how it's already better
than where he was the communication rather than it was
in Green Bay. Like, it does feel like he's not
having to battle all of that stuff behind the scenes.
He could he might even play better than he did
those two MVP seasons, if that if that's even more
(12:58):
he might.
Speaker 3 (12:58):
Not because historically we always saw him play his best
when he had a chip on his shoulder, and his
chip might be the fact that now he's wanted where
in a place where he should have been adored and
mired and revered that he didn't feel that. So that
might be his boulder on his rock on the shoulder.
It's possible, but it seems as though that's the way
(13:21):
he motivates himself. I think we'll find out if happy
makes him play better. If is he truly happy in
New York? Does that correlate to him playing better football.
I think it's all intriguing. I think it's all entertaining.
It's it's again, the NFL is the best reality TV
(13:44):
show going in the history of reality TV, because you
have so many major stars, and you have so many
major storylines, and things can go so many different directions
and so many timelines and time frames because you just
don't know what's happening next.
Speaker 1 (14:04):
No, you think the NFL, I mean, they've already shown
that they've got the ability to change things on the fly. They'll,
you know, reschedule a game, they'll you know, flex a
Thursday game like they've all And I know that there's
TV contracts and these schedules and and how these schedules
are put together are done well in advance. I think
the NFL should give themselves wiggle room on a couple
(14:27):
of games each year with the NFL schedule team by team.
And I say that because wouldn't you love to see
Rogers against the Packers this year? I mean, if you're
the NFL and you've got the flexibility to do everything
from change the kickoff rule when you have Roger Goodell
convince owners behind the scenes to move games around to
(14:49):
flex stuff out. If you could play a Wednesday game
during COVID, how the hell do you not give yourself
the ability to set up some of these juicier matchups
like Rogers against Bay Derek Carr taking on the Raiders,
Like I just feel like there's opportunities here. If it's
the best.
Speaker 3 (15:05):
Reality garoppolo against the Niners, I would love to see
all those guys.
Speaker 1 (15:09):
I mean, if we're talking reality shows, let's do this
thing all the way and let's build.
Speaker 3 (15:13):
In some of the massage tables are.
Speaker 1 (15:17):
Everything everything we can possibly do, you know, like, just
let's let's figure out how we can make that happen.
If you're the NFL, I'm with you there, that would
be so much fun. Deshaun Watson, by the way, I
did look this up Deshaun Watson is a two and
a half point favorite against Massage Tables as we head
into this uptime season. So uh, it is Two Pros
(15:41):
a Cup of Joe Here on Fox Sports Radio. It's
LeVar Arrington, Jonas Knox with you here. All right, So
coming up next, we have got some good news for
a team with a major quarterback question in the NFL,
and we'll tell you who that is next.
Speaker 4 (15:56):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Jobs with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 1 (16:10):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio,
LeVar Arrington, Jonas Knox with you here. So we are
going to get into this story in the NFL, which
is good news for a team who's got a major
question mark at quarterback. But first it's time for the
progressive play of the day. The pitch the four Tests.
Speaker 3 (16:29):
A crop up their ball a fair ball.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
The Marlins walk up the pie trays they do in
four tests.
Speaker 1 (16:36):
Fight around first, the Duris scores.
Speaker 5 (16:40):
The Marlins walk off the pie trays in the bottom
of the ninth inning.
Speaker 3 (16:44):
They played a pair off one of the best in
baseball and Josh hayner Man.
Speaker 1 (16:49):
They're excited in South Florida. They got the Marlins, they
got the heat, they got the go Cats, the Panthers.
Everybody's rolling in South Florida. That is your Progressive Play
the Day, courtesy Marlin's Radio. Progressive is making things even easier.
They will help you bull do your home and conr
insurance together so you could save on both. Learn Moore
Progressive dot com or one eight hundred Progressive. We've got
(17:10):
last call for some picks on a major sporting event
here coming up in about ten minutes from now. But
LeVar Arrington, some major questions are taking place in San
Francisco with the forty nine ers, who I don't know
if they have a healthy quarterback. I think it's Sam Darnold,
but who the hell knows at this point. They got
Trey Lance, they got Brock Purty. Their general manager, John Lynch,
spoke with Sirius XM about the recovery of One Rock
(17:34):
Party as we get ready for the training camp coming
up in a couple of weeks there in a couple
of months for the forty nine ers with OTAs going on,
Let's take a listen to the forty nine ers GM.
Speaker 6 (17:45):
You know, there are certain markers that you hit these
twelve weeks out and that was meant it was time
to throw. He did so and responded really well, he's
just had one session thus far, but you know, we're
incredibly encouraged by that. And brox of worker. If you
give him a task, he's going to do everything in
his power, you know. So these are just timelines, and
(18:06):
timelines are just that, they're guidelines. But you know, he's
when I say tracking, well, it's just he's hitting all
his markers and it doesn't surprise us because he's putting
in the work. And as for best case scenario, we're
just going to kind of take it as it comes.
But I mean, the hope is he's ready for training camp.
The hope is he's ready for the regular season.
Speaker 1 (18:26):
So that was forty nine Ers GM. John Lynch talking
about the recovery of Brockfordy. Obviously some optimistic feelings there.
He also mentioned that he is still the leader in
the clubhouse when it comes to the quarterback competition in
San Francisco, and I don't know whether to give him
credit for finding Brockfordy a starting quarterback with the last
pick of the draft, or do they deserve to be
(18:48):
ripped because they traded away three first round picks for
a guy like Trey Lance who has gotten the job
taken from him by the guy who's taken last in
the draft. Not really sure what to do with that.
Speaker 3 (18:57):
I mean, you gave away to those picks thinking that
Trey Lance would be the guy, and Trey Lance will
get an opportunity to be the guy. He has every
every bit of an opportunity to make good on where
he was drafted. Now, with that being said, that should
(19:19):
serve as a healthy motivator and knowing that, you know,
mister Irrelevant came in, wasn't he mister Irrelevant?
Speaker 1 (19:29):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (19:30):
Yeah, I mean he comes in and has the type
of showing that he had. You know, that should give
you not only motivation, but it should give you confidence
that if this guy can figure it out and play
as well as he did, I should be able to
play figure it out and play as well, if not
better than what he did, because I know what my
(19:50):
capabilities are in comparison to his, which led to me
being drafted at a different place than what he was.
So if I'm Trey Lance, I don't shy away from
this challenge. I dig in, I dig in, I dig deep.
I want to prove. I remember when I went to Washington,
(20:10):
and it's funny because John Thompson had recruited me for basketball.
John didn't like me when I first came. Well he's
not here anymore. But rest easy, you know what I
mean to the old super super og like original original og.
Speaker 1 (20:26):
Listen Georgetown.
Speaker 3 (20:27):
When I came to Washington, I did a weekly I
didn't do a weekly show with them I first, but
Doc Walker and the coach did a radio show and
they covered the Washington football team that I played for,
and Coach Thompson did not like me, like he did
(20:49):
not speak highly of me early on. And I could
just recall listening to the show and listen to how
he talked about me, and I'd be like, I'm gonna
win him over. I'm gonna win him over, and I'm
going to prove to Coach Thompson that I'm that guy.
And I accepted the challenge. I didn't. I didn't become
(21:11):
a victim. I didn't sit there and be upset at
Coach Thompson like you don't know me, you don't have
no reason to be mad at me, or had no
problem with me. Da da dae. Like it was like,
I'm going to show him. I'm going to prove to
him that if you think that these guys should be playing,
or think that you know, maybe maybe you know, I'm
not what the hype may be, I'm gonna show you.
(21:34):
And not only did I show him by by year
or two, but I ended up doing a show segment
on their show that next year. So I was going
on there every Monday on their show and actually built
an amazing rapport with Coach and with Doc who Doc
(21:57):
is still a very close friend of mine to this day.
So that was to me a challenge. And Trey Lance
should be looking at this as he has a challenge
because right now you know where everybody's radar is Jonas
on brock Purdy. So you have the biggest and best
(22:18):
opportunity to do exactly what brock Purdy did. Just take
the scene by storm, like oh, you'll say, ah, well,
they gave up so many draft picks for him, Oh
they expected this from him, because that's why he's the
top draft pick for them. Make it. So that's what
they're saying. Don't make it the other like, oh my gosh,
(22:41):
when's brock Purdy coming back? When's Purdy coming back? Like,
don't let it be that. Don't sink, don't sink into
the circumstances that are currently in front of you. That
says that it's all about Brock Purdy getting healthy and
Trey Lance being a stopcap go figure until he gets back. Nah, bruh,
go take your job. Yeah, and the flex on them
(23:01):
and flex on them.
Speaker 1 (23:02):
Look, and if you just go based on the ceiling
and the talent and ability, Trey Lance should have all
the advantages. And yet here we are and you've got
the organization who's got more faith in Brock Purty and
what he's able to do, which I mean, if what
did we get? Trey Lance got what two three games
worth of experience and then the one game that he
(23:24):
started and finished this past year was the Monsoon game
at Chicago in Week one and nobody played well in
that game. I mean, like in those conditions that was
unheard of at that time at Soldier Field, nobody played
well there. And so the idea that that's what you're
basing the opinion on Trey Lance, and then he gets
hurt the following game and Jimmy Garoppolo steps up. It's like,
(23:47):
it's the most fascinating quarterback situation in the NFL in
my mind. And it's so eerily similar in some ways
to what the Patriots dealt with with Tom Brady and
Drew Bledsoe, because there was a financial commitment they had
made to Drew Bledsoe the year before, They'd given him
like one hundred million dollars he was their starting quarterback,
(24:09):
and Belichick just identified, I got something here in this
guy that was taken way down in the draft, and
once he got an opportunity to play via injury, Brady
never let the job go. And you look at all
these years later, you look at San Francisco, They've got
this big financial and draft capital commitment to Trey Lance.
He goes down with an injury, and here's this guy,
(24:32):
last pick of the draft who comes in and Trey
Lance may never get that job back. It's just wild
to think how this entire thing is has gone.
Speaker 3 (24:42):
For Trey Lance doesn't get to blame it on his engine,
you know, And that's to me, if you allow that
to happen, or if it happens and you put your
best foot forward, then you can live with it. He
gets an opportunity to be able to live with it.
Even if he can't live with it. You're going to
(25:02):
have to live with it because you're going to get
the first snaps, You're getting the ball. You're going to
be the starter for week one. I think, I hope, yeah,
I believe.
Speaker 1 (25:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (25:14):
So if it does not work out, you have no
one else to look at or to point at but yourself.
And that's all you can ask for in a professional
sport is being able to say the success was based
upon my performance, my preparation, and nothing else like. That's it. Yeah,
(25:37):
and he gets it.
Speaker 1 (25:38):
It's pretty It's going to be fun to see how
this whole thing plays out. Training camp is going to
be a fun watch when it comes to the forty
nine ers who, by the way, or a teams that
are projected to be a legit Super Bowl contender based
on all the insiders and experts and odds and all
that fun stuff. So two pros and a cup of
Joe here, Fox Sports Radio Savari Arrington and Jonas Knox
with you here, all right, So coming up, we've got
(26:00):
last call. We're going to call our shots on a
major sporting event in coming up here in the next
several days. So that'll be yours here on FSR. But
for all the latest from around the world of sports,
a shot caller himself, the one, the only, Edmund Garcia.
Speaker 7 (26:15):
By the way, happy birthday, Jonas it was yesterday. Well,
happy birthday from yesterday.
Speaker 1 (26:21):
I appreciate yesterday. I mean it'll it'll count towards next year.
Oh wow, Yeah, I only count birthdays when the cake arrives.
So how is that cake?
Speaker 2 (26:29):
By the way, that's pretty good.
Speaker 1 (26:31):
Yeah, brought in some cake, lebar, did you really some
chocolate cake?
Speaker 3 (26:35):
Well, I'm on day two of my my nine.
Speaker 1 (26:39):
Day fast, so are you doing your cleanse?
Speaker 3 (26:41):
So first too, yeah, the nine day cleanse. I'm fasting
right now. So I didn't eat anything yesterday and I'm
on day two of not eating anything, so thank goodness,
I didn't see any cake.
Speaker 1 (26:53):
And so and then you do the cleanse for how long?
Was it like? Five days?
Speaker 3 (26:56):
So I'll cleanse for right, I'll clean for cleanse for
f and then I'll go to two more days on
the back end with no food.
Speaker 1 (27:03):
You're going to weigh one hundred and seven pounds, thanks
to see you. Like I've heard, those are brutal and
you got to be careful because you might end up
throwing away a pair of socks if you don't get
to the restroom in time.
Speaker 3 (27:15):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (27:16):
It's probably wow. I'm saying, man, I've heard stories. Gotta
be careful. You know, I don't think.
Speaker 3 (27:22):
I've done it. I've done it. I've done it a
few times. Well, but thank you.
Speaker 7 (27:26):
Good luck with that.
Speaker 3 (27:27):
Thanks thanks Van.
Speaker 7 (27:28):
We got the NBA Finals coming up tonight, Game one,
eight to thirty Eastern. They'll tip it off in Denver
with the Nuggets host and the Heat. Denver the number
one seed in the West looking for their first ever
NBA title, Miami the eighth seed in the East. I'm
looking to become the first eight seed to win an
NBA championship. One injury note, Tyler Hero still out from Miami,
was thought maybe he can come back at some point
in the series. He's been out since Game one of
(27:48):
the playoffs with a broken hand. News from the NBA
and Monty Williams getting paid, the former Suns head coach
reportedly agreeing on a six year, seventy eight point five
million dollar deal with the Troit Pistons to be their
next head coach. That would be the largest coaching deal
in NBA history. Now back to LaVar Arrington and Jonas
Knox atyrack dot com, Fox Sports Radio Studios.
Speaker 1 (28:08):
Thanks Eddie. Two pros and a cup of Joe here
on Fox Sports Radio, brought to you by DraftKings Sportsbook
and official sports betting partner of the NBA. Download the
DraftKings Sportsbook app today and use code two pros for
a special offer when you sign up. That's Code two
Pros only at DraftKings Sportsbook. All right, LeVar Arrington, Last call.
It is last call for picks on the NBA Finals,
(28:32):
which are tipping off later on tonight. You've got the
Miami Heat, the true what an underdog story. The Miami
Heat are a team who was the one seed last
year and had a disappointing year and then got into
the postseason. They are now on their way to Denver
to take on the Nuggets. The Denver Nuggets are an
eight and a half point favorite courtesy of our friends
at DraftKings. In this game coming up later on tonight,
(28:54):
Who do you like in the game tonight, what about
for the series? How we feel an NBA final tipping
off later on?
Speaker 3 (29:02):
Yeah, well I'll say this, and looking at the matchups,
it's hard to go against Denver in this series. But
I would have said the same thing about Miami in
the Celtics series. It would have been hard to go
(29:24):
against the Celtics in that series. And it's just like
fighting a South Paul like you just sometimes it's just
hard to figure them out, you know, it's hard to
figure out the style where the punches may be coming from.
And I think that that's Miami. You know, they've done
an excellent job of being able to maximize who they are.
(29:48):
And so you know, if I'm looking at it from
a critical perspective, my critical eye say is to go
with Denver, and I am going to go with Denver
for them to get their first World championship. But I
don't I would not be surprised if the Miami Heat
(30:11):
after letting it get away from them against the Lakers
and in the in the asterisk or the bubble, the
bubble championship year. I just I thought that they made
it there because they were in the bubble.
Speaker 1 (30:27):
The captain EO Cup.
Speaker 3 (30:29):
Yeah, I thought they made it. I mean I thought
they made it there because they were in the bubble
and they wouldn't have made it there if this wasn't
a COVID, a COVID way of playing a COVID year
of the NBA. Now, lo and behold, they're back and
that's not easy. So they really are good. So so Jonas,
I'm i'm, I wouldn't be surprised if Miami was able
(30:52):
to pull it out.
Speaker 1 (30:52):
So they have exact results. You can bet on DraftKings, like,
how do you think the series is going to go?
So if Denver wins, how many games do you think it'll.
Speaker 3 (31:00):
Be I'll probably say probably and six.
Speaker 1 (31:08):
Okay, that pays out plus four hundred, So one hundred
dollars wins you four hundred. That's a four to one
if Denver wins in six. What about for the Heat?
Speaker 3 (31:17):
If the Heat win, I think it'll be in six
as well.
Speaker 1 (31:20):
Okay, plus seven fifty. So you throw down one hundred
or in my case, you throw down ten dollars and
you'll win back seventy five dollars if you like the
Miami Heat. Now I'm gonna go off the board. I
think the Nuggets win in three, but again, there's no
way to win. Well listen, but I mean, I think
it's going to be such a wipeout the first three
games that the NBA is going to be like, you know,
(31:41):
we don't need to do this anymore. Jimmy Butler's already
distracted on his Himmy Buckets brand. That we've got to
We've got to move on to something more relevant, like
the draft or something like that. You know. That's that's
the way I think this is going to go. But hey,
it'll be fun. Hopefully we'll get some good games at least,
because I think there was a lot of people that
felt like, man, once lose the name brands and the NBA,
(32:02):
is there going to be the same interest. If we
just get some good basketball, you could probably build some
new stars, and I think it'd be a fun watch
for everybody.
Speaker 3 (32:09):
So it's definitely not a battle of the market, now,
that's for sure.
Speaker 1 (32:13):
No, it's not. It definitely is not. It is two
pros and a cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington,

If they're in at please or if they're.
Speaker 1 (33:59):
Out all right, he's the lap executive producer. What the
hell do we got? Guys?
Speaker 8 (34:02):
Congratulations are in order for Alpa, she know, eighty three
years old expecting a new baby with his twenty nine
year old girlfriend. Yeah, you, guys, ent are out on
having a child at eighty.
Speaker 3 (34:13):
Three years old, all the way out? Yeah, no, thanks,
all the way out.
Speaker 1 (34:19):
I'd like to have a hip by eighty two or
eighty three. And this guy's having a kid and she's
twenty nine, that is correct.
Speaker 3 (34:28):
I'm all the way out on him being with a
twenty nine year old too.
Speaker 1 (34:31):
So he's eighty two and she's twenty nine, So we're
looking at fifty three years difference. So when he had
his sixtieth birth when he had his sixtieth birthday party,
she had her seventh. What the af man I made?
Speaker 3 (34:52):
I'm out.
Speaker 1 (34:53):
I don't get it, not.
Speaker 3 (34:55):
To mention you know, your kid is going to barely
get to know their parents, right, Like, I'm out, I'm out,
I mean, all right, wouldn't be me?
Speaker 1 (35:04):
Yeah, okay, what else we got? Lee?
Speaker 3 (35:08):
Some people think al Pacino's demand for that though. You
say that to some people in some circles, they actually
might be all in on that. But and like probably
Lee is sitting there like, oh well, I'll probably change
my mind. Good Lee, go ahead.
Speaker 1 (35:20):
What about de Niro? DeNiro just had he's gonna have
another kid, correct, although I believe his uh his wife
is older.
Speaker 3 (35:28):
Are you serious?
Speaker 1 (35:29):
Yeah? DeNiro's having another kid? Oh yeah, okay, so that's
what I heard.
Speaker 3 (35:34):
I don't see how they're still functioning at that high
of a level. But God bless them, you know, for them.
Speaker 1 (35:40):
Hey, some engines last a little longer than others, you know,
I mean, I've seen.
Speaker 3 (35:45):
Dudes in the shower that that are their age and
a little older. Man, I tell you what that snail
trail is for real?
Speaker 1 (35:51):
Man looks like a circus peanut.
Speaker 3 (35:55):
And I know that might sound horrible like LaVar. You
saw somebody? Yeah, got caught up. I got caught up.
Speaker 1 (36:01):
What you do? Try to tie your shoes?
Speaker 3 (36:08):
I got caught in that shower by myself in Iowa.
Never would have thought it, it happened. I was the
only one in the shower by myself. Everybody do the
joke except me.
Speaker 8 (36:22):
What else we got, Lee, Guys, we have a two
hour documentary TLC Forever on Lifetime in A and E Networks. Guys,
in or out on a TLC documentary?
Speaker 3 (36:33):
You've already seen a TLC documentaries.
Speaker 1 (36:37):
Yeah, I thought I thought you were talking of the
documentary on the network TLC. I didn't know you were
talking about the band. And now that I think about it,
of course Lee would be talking about the band. Of course,
got TLC the station, crazy, sexy, cool? Yeah, the TLC story.
Speaker 8 (36:53):
I guess there was a former documentary on the.
Speaker 1 (36:55):
All right, so let me ask you this TLC or
in vogue TLC and.
Speaker 3 (37:02):
I would much rather see a docu series on in
Vogue because they seem way more intriguing. I mean they
were women, yeah, you know, like you know TLC was
like a girl band, you know in Vogue was.
Speaker 1 (37:18):
Like women like giving him something then he can. I
feel like TLC, though, did have a little bit of
an edge when one of their members burned down Andre
Rison's house.
Speaker 3 (37:30):
Yeah, but that was childish, so that went back the
girl band. It's very loudish. Do I heard of nobody
from in Vogue burning down Nobody's crib man?
Speaker 1 (37:41):
Why'd you get break out? She burned my house down?
Speaker 3 (37:46):
Like tang Like that's a bit extreme.
Speaker 1 (37:49):
S what else we got? Guys?
Speaker 8 (37:54):
If you're out on that TLC documentary, we also have
a production in the works for a Barry Bonds documentary
on HBO.
Speaker 1 (38:00):
Guys in on that now. I did hear Ben Maler
say that Barry Bonds would be involved. He signed off
on this, So the speculation it could be a little
bit of a puff piece.
Speaker 3 (38:10):
Like so like how people said the Last Dance was
a puff.
Speaker 1 (38:13):
Piece, which it was.
Speaker 3 (38:14):
I don't care. He's the greatest, yeah, and you know what,
as far as Barry Bonds is, he's the greatest. You know,
I don't care.
Speaker 1 (38:21):
Hey, Barry Bond should just throw a curveball on the
whole thing. And if he did take peds, I mean,
just show all the apparel he used. I mean, I
want to see the syringes. I want to see all
of it. I want to know how big your head
got at its peak and how much it's shrunk. Since
I want to know all of it. Like, give us,
give us everything. They're not gonna put They're not going
to put you in the Hall of Fame, and they're
(38:42):
gonna keep jerking you around like this. I come clean
and let's start to make a real story out of
this whole thing. But I don't care, gas or not.
Whatever he was on best I've ever seen.
Speaker 3 (38:55):
He is a beast. Yeap, Barry Bonds was a beast.
Speaker 1 (38:58):
What else we got to be?
Speaker 8 (39:00):
The French Open is underway and Roger Freederer has offered
his voice to the navigation app ways in English, French
and German.
Speaker 1 (39:07):
You guys enter out on the app ways.

Speaker 1 (39:13):

the most accurate in the world.
Speaker 3 (39:17):
I would be in on Roger Federer.
Speaker 1 (39:21):
A Man, it's a pleasant voice.
Speaker 3 (39:23):
I'd be in on Jonas too.
Speaker 1 (39:24):
