was the point of that? Him just just wanted to
sound like.

Speaker 4 (01:19):
At the end of his uh of his intro song. Right,
oh yeah, yeah, the end of the show something like that.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
I don't even know what it's supposed to be. But nonetheless,
I do know what this is supposed to be. Supposed
to be Two pros and a cup of Joe here

we can just get that out of the way right
at the top.

Speaker 4 (01:42):
If you want to keep asking, that means you don't
listen to the show, because we've given you explanation.

Speaker 5 (01:48):
You've had enough explanation.

Speaker 4 (01:50):
So if you're continuing to ask, that just means that
you're an ass that's not listening to our show.

Speaker 5 (01:55):
That's all. So don't ask. There, you go right between you.

Speaker 4 (01:59):

our show and oh, yeah, where's Brady? If you're asking
where Brady is, we told you yesterday and go to

Tire ract dot com the way tire buying should be.
So another layer in the Stefan Diggs drama with the
Buffalo Bills, which is fascinating.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
And I'm telling you this right now. If it turned out.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
That all this is is Stefan Diggs and the Bills
butted heads over you know his influence in play calling,
I'm gonna be outraged. I need some sort of a scandal.
I want somebody sleeping with somebody's girlfriend. I want somebody
doing peds behind their back. I want a gambling scandal.

(03:22):
Like with with all the conversations that are being had
with the Buffalo Bills, this has got to be something
juicy for us to have this much conversation about what
Stefan Diggs's problem is. Now, the very latest is Stefan
Diggs was back at mini camp on Wednesday. He took
part in individual drills. He dapped up with Josh Allen.

(03:42):
They did their usual handshake deal there at Bill's Mini caamp.
He was seen speaking with teammates. He talked to the
brand new wide receivers coach there, all of that you
know he would and he was there in attendance at
Bill's Mini caamp now Sean McDermott, the Bill's head coach.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
He spoke about the situation. Let's take a listen.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Let me be clear.

Speaker 6 (04:04):
Steph did everything that we that he was asked to do.
He was here Monday and executed his physical on time.
Steph reported yesterday Tuesday and reported from meetings, at which
time we had a good conversation, great communication, and we
got to a point yesterday where I just we just

(04:25):
felt like we all needed a break and some space,
and so I gave Steph permission to get some space
and and and uh and head out and uh and
then picked up those conversations after practice. So let me
make it clear, it was. It was not Steph leading unexcused.
He was excused by me. And so those conversations have

(04:49):
got us to a to what I think and believe
is a great spot.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
So there was the bills on the translation of that, uh,
probably not a great spot or good enough for now.

Speaker 4 (05:02):
I'll say this anytime that you feel like you have
to explain a situation through like that, there's a situation
and at football, in the culture of football, and I
do believe this is still true. It still remains true

(05:22):
even though the times have changed. If anything, you are
always going to be You're always going to be at
the facility, Jonas like always, So no matter what it
is that you have going on, if you're sick, if

(05:46):
you're having a bad day, no matter what it is,
you're you're going.

Speaker 5 (05:51):
To be.

Speaker 4 (05:53):
At at the facility. And so to me, I just
you know, there's something wrong. There's something wrong, And he
tried to make sure he chose his words the right way,
and I don't know, I just think that that's an
acknowledgment that there's something there's something going on, because you

(06:14):
don't excuse a guy from practice unless it's a personal
situation at home.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
You know, it's odd about it too, He says, you know,
I just felt like at that point we all needed
a break.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
We needed some space.

Speaker 5 (06:26):
Bru. That means they were fight like that like it like,
like we need some space.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
The last time you were all together was January twenty second,
you had five months off.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
What do you need? What do you mean?

Speaker 1 (06:37):
You just got back together and you need more space?
Like I thought, this is like the make of.

Speaker 4 (06:42):
Those words, But aren't those words. There's there's two things
that happen in a relationship that make you say that.
One I don't want to be with you anymore.

Speaker 5 (06:52):
Right. That's in a marriage. That's in that's in.

Speaker 4 (06:54):
A a dating relationship. The moment somebody in the relationship
says we need some space.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
I just need time, like we're done exactly.

Speaker 4 (07:09):
We're done, Like it's done. The relationship is fractured, whatever
it is, we're done.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
I need time to open up a bumble account is
what I need?

Speaker 5 (07:17):
Works right? Right?

Speaker 4 (07:20):
So there there's just there's an issue here, and I
think it's interesting because you always have to like employ
mechanisms that keep the confusion down and take try to
take the spotlight off of it. But it's there's clearly
a spotlight on it. There's clearly an issue. I don't

(07:41):
know what the issue is, but it sounds like it
gets heated enough. Maybe it could be the fact that
he does have a new receivers coach. Maybe it could
be the fact that he you know, I don't know,
but there's a clashing taking place, and clearly McDermott is
a part of it. Like he said it, like we
like we needed our space, Like it came to a

(08:03):
point where we needed our space.

Speaker 5 (08:04):
So what is that? What does that conflict look like?
What do you need?

Speaker 4 (08:09):
What happened where you had a build up so so
much where you sent him home? Like you sent him home,
You didn't say go to the player's lounge and we'll
catch you up later. Like he's like, it just got
to the point where we couldn't get this resolved. Like
we're not getting this resolved right now. So until we

(08:30):
get a resolved, just go. Something isn't right. Something is
There's something very very confrontationally not right going on between
and now I would now be confident to say it's
going on between McDermott has a an involvement in it.
There's an involvement in it with McDermott. That's clear now.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
And I also think that the other part of this
it's strange is they cut mini camp short. So they
were supposed to get together later on today and they decided,
after everything that went on, yeah, we'll just send everybody home.
We'll come back for training camp. So you need to
tell me that you left on bad terms in January

(09:14):
after the playoff game, assuming you didn't work anything out,
because there was still a talking to that had to
be had. When you showed up in June at mandatory
mini camps, you have the talk, things get so heated,
you agree to part ways for a little while. He
comes back and partakes in individual drills, and then you
just go ahead and cut camp short the very next day.

Speaker 4 (09:36):
I just like, oh, something popped off. Oh like it
had to have something popped off.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
And the fact that it lasted as long as it did,
because like to the relationship analogy. If you know you
guys are in a fight, and say you're having a
fight with your better half, and all of a sudden
you get together and you have a conversation, and somewhere
along the lines of that conversation you decide, you know
what we need more time, Like there's no like this idea,

(10:04):
and then and then you're not going to see each
other for what six weeks because training camp is what
middle of July something like that. It just it feels
like there's this is less than ideal for a team
who's got to be feeling like the pressure's on and
the windows closing, entering a critical year and one of
your best players and it's not about a contract because

(10:24):
he signed one before last offseason, and one of your
best players is leaving for a few months, coming back
for a short time, unhappy again, leaving and then coming back,
and then you call it early and you cancel the
rest of mini camp and then you're just going to
show back up in five six weeks, Like what are
you hoping for? Maybe he cools off by then? What

(10:45):
was different between now in the previous five months? Like
it just doesn't add all.

Speaker 4 (10:49):
All I know is is if the situation was so
intense that you canceled the rest of mini camp and
just say, you know, let's just let this whole thing
cool down. Maybe there's multiple people that's involved in it
that are on the team, Like if you if you

(11:09):
pay attention, you said that the report said that they
were on the field, they did their whole handshaking, all
this old other stuff, you know, Josh Allen and Stefan Diggs.

Speaker 5 (11:22):
But that was before he was sent home.

Speaker 3 (11:26):
Well, this was yesterday when he came back.

Speaker 5 (11:28):
So he came back, all right, So that's okay, So
so clear me up here.

Speaker 1 (11:32):
So he was sent home on I believe it was Tuesday. Okay,
showed up, They had a conversation, things got a little
bit heated. Apparently they decided to go their separate ways.
They sent him home on Tuesday. Then you know, Sean.

Speaker 5 (11:44):
Came back today. Yeah, se me yesterday.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
Sean McDermott talked on Tuesday about being very concerned about
the situation. Right, Josh Allen had his back, von Miller
had his back. Then he showed back up. They had
positive conversations. Apparently Sean mc dermott said that, look, we
excused him. He did everything right. He made it nice
in the media like we just heard. And then he

(12:09):
went out there, took part in individual drills, was seen
dapping up, Josh Allen talking to otherwards.

Speaker 5 (12:15):
That was yesterday.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
That was yeah, yesterday, and then even after all that,
if everything's good.

Speaker 3 (12:21):
They still cut camp early.

Speaker 4 (12:24):
All right, but but but Stefan Dick's practiced yesterday.

Speaker 3 (12:27):
Yeah, individual drills.

Speaker 4 (12:28):
Okay, well, then that changes the whole conversation. And I
know we're up on a break, but he just did
individual It doesn't matter if he just did individual, he drills.

Speaker 5 (12:37):
He was there.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
You don't think it's a little odd that Sean McDermott
still felt the need to speak about the situation, clear
things up and make sure everybody knows.

Speaker 3 (12:46):
And then on top of that, what.

Speaker 4 (12:48):
He's doing, what he's doing is he's he's he's making
sure he doesn't lose that that locker room. So again,
this whatever this is that took place with Stephan Diggs. Again,
it involved more than Stepan Diggs. It also involved McDermott.

(13:08):
Josh Allen said he wish he could, he could, he's
going to he needs to do better and what it
is that that can make this better in his press conference,
So this, I mean, that's your two best players right there.

Speaker 1 (13:21):
Was Do you believe that part of the reason why
he called off camp early after apparently everything went well
and he was excused and all that, Like Sean McDermott's
trying to say, do you believe that they called off
camp early because Sean McDermott wanted to show that, hey,
I got your players backs. I feel like I'm losing
grips on all this stuff. And you know, here's a

(13:42):
little make good. We'll we'll kill the last and give
you an early break. You can go home early and
come back for training camp. Like, if that was the approach,
if he felt the need to do that, they're in
a pretty tough spot.

Speaker 4 (13:53):
It was intense. Yeah, that's what And that's what I'm saying.
This is an intense situation emotionally, this is an emotional
intense situation for that team. And that's why, like when
you say we need space, like that's like almost like safe.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
Words after five months.

Speaker 5 (14:12):
Yeah, that's like safe words.

Speaker 4 (14:14):
Man, That's not That's not a good way of depicting something,
if you ask me and my my estimation of it.
And him being back yesterday, him him only participating in
in individual drills doesn't say much about the situation. Him
being there says more about the situation. But what's telling
is is that they canceled the rest of practice. He

(14:36):
was throwing, he was he was extending an olive branch
is what it sounds like, unless unless he had that
plant all along, and then now we look like morons
or schmucks making this this this such a strong assessment.
I just I'm stuck on the we need space even
though he came back, because you know, sometimes in relationships,

(14:57):
you say we need space, and you come back, and
you come back too soon and the issues aren't fixed,
but you nonetheless you still decided to come back. And
we all know what happens when you say you needed
space because of how things are going, and you come
back and those issues haven't really fully been resolved. It

(15:20):
kind of flares up on you at the at the
wrong time, or it definitely flares up again. So it'll
be interesting to see if whatever the issue was was
actually rectified and they've really moved on, or this turns
into something else that flares back up later on.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
I mean, I hope Bengal fans are happy, all right
that their blood is on your hands. I hope you're
happy with what you did to Stefan Diggs and this
entire team. You beat their ass so bad in that
playoff game that they completely fell apart. Like I said yesterday,
they took their hope and their hype all in one game,
like took it all.

Speaker 3 (15:58):
They just took it all.

Speaker 1 (15:59):
They've in the same sense five months away, get together
for what fifteen twenty minutes and realize, yeah, that's not
enough time.

Speaker 3 (16:06):
Go home for the rest of the day.

Speaker 1 (16:07):
Then we'll call camp early when you come back to
partake in individual drills. Like It's just it's not a
great spot for the Buffalo Bills.

Speaker 4 (16:15):
But I didn't see this, so this could all be
being taken horribly out of context. But if the reports
are accurate to what maybe the interpretation is out of context,
it doesn't sound good. If there's a different context, it
could make this a little bit better. But as I

(16:38):
as I see it without being there and seeing it
and being able to put it in like proper context
of seeing it with my own two eyes, I would
say the prognosis is not a good one.

Speaker 1 (16:51):
I'll say that you know what happened to the good
old days when the Bills fans and the Bills are
just known for playing the Patriots and throwing bildos on
the field.

Speaker 3 (16:59):
Like what happened to the old days?

Speaker 4 (17:00):
You know, having catch up and mustard their bodies while
they're in there watching.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
Going through tables, all that stuff like those are the
good old days and now it's all been ruined by
the damp begles just just destroying teams. It is Two
Pros and a Cup of Joe here on Fox Sports Radio.

until nine am Eastern time, six o'clock Pacific. But we've
got ourselves a few players in the NFL that find

and we'll tell you who they are next.

Speaker 2 (17:49):

A good stuff here.

Speaker 5 (18:06):
Oh man, don't don't be messing with my man.

Speaker 3 (18:09):
This is straight from Iowa, Charlie and the crop circles.

Speaker 5 (18:14):
There you go.

Speaker 3 (18:17):
Ya big time Sam. This is a in Iowa band
correct or?

Speaker 4 (18:23):
No?

Speaker 3 (18:23):
Yeah, yeah, the Gap Band Iowa.

Speaker 5 (18:25):
They're from Iowa.

Speaker 3 (18:26):
Really no, they're not bulling smoke apprecial. It's just lie,
just another lie for no reason, That's all it is.

Speaker 5 (18:35):
But you know it was Charlie Wilson. No, Charlie Band.

Speaker 3 (18:41):
Who the hell's the Gap Band? Isn't that a department series?

Speaker 5 (18:45):
Oh my gosh, why did you Why did you say Charlie?

Speaker 3 (18:50):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (18:51):
I just that's the most weirdest random name to pull out,
and it's the name of the lead singer of the
of the Gap Band.

Speaker 3 (18:59):
Well, because I'm a musical savant and.

Speaker 5 (19:01):
So weird, it just came to me, you know.

Speaker 1 (19:03):
That's how it was. What are the what else is
the Gap Band? And what other big time songs they recognize?

Speaker 3 (19:09):
The song burn Rubber Party Train Outstanding? Yeah, definitely not yeah.

Speaker 5 (19:15):
Boom outstanding? Girl? You not exciting? You make me one
a show like y'all know that's all?

Speaker 3 (19:28):
No, No, definitely don't.

Speaker 4 (19:31):
I could say it's not uh well nothing, Yeah, this
is probably out of your range of just you know,
casual listening.

Speaker 3 (19:40):
What what's that supposed to be? Johnson?

Speaker 1 (19:43):
Well, uh, it is two pros and a cup of Joe.
Here on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Jonas Knox with
you so. Coming up in less than twenty minutes from
now here from the tiraq dot com studios, We've got
another layer to a potential scandal in the NFL. We'll
give you the details on that again a little less
than twenty minutes from now here on FSR SO, LaVar Arrington.

(20:05):
We've been talking about this, the devaluing of the running
back position. They are not in a good spot. It
feels like the book has been written on what teams
feel about the running back position. It's the hot button issue.
It's the hot topic of the NFL right now. You've
got a bunch of other players Saquon Barkley, Josh Jacobs,

(20:26):
Dalvin Cook, Najie Harris, Christian McCaffrey, Austin Eckler. All of
these guys have popped up this offseason with something to
say about it or a contract issue in relation to
it well. The latest to speak up about it was
Jonathan Taylor of the Colts. He's entering the final year
of his rookie deal. They don't have a long term
contract done yet, and here was his thoughts about where

(20:48):
the position stands in the eyes of the NFL.

Speaker 5 (20:51):
Dad.

Speaker 7 (20:51):
It sucks because a lot of positions, a lot of
positions do a lot for their team, but specifically speaking
for the running back position, I can just first hand
we do do a lot. And you just want you
just want to be treated fairly. You just want to be,
you know, appreciated for what you bring to the team.
It's never about yourself, It's about the team. I mean,
you see why guys they request trades. They want you know,

(21:13):
they just want to feel value by not only their coaches,
their teammates, but the organization as well. And you just hope,
you know, from the track record here, you hope that
the things are are being evaluated the right way. It's
all about the wins. You want to make sure at
the end of the day, you guys are winning games.
You want to win championships. So you just hope that
you know, the organization sees that value and everything that

(21:34):
you're trying to provide not only to the team but
also to the community.

Speaker 1 (21:38):
Everything he said sounds like it's one hundred percent spot on,
saying with Naji Harris yesterday talking about it. Yet it
doesn't really feel like it's going to do a damn
bit of difference. Just kind of feels like this is
where it works, like this is where they're at, Like
this is it's just it's how teams view the position,
and it feels like this is just evolving, not solving,

(21:58):
like this is where the games headed and that position
is in a tough spot. I just I don't know
what the solution could possibly be.

Speaker 5 (22:09):
All Right, So there's a little bit.

Speaker 4 (22:14):
What Jonathan Taylor is saying in theory is correct, but
as the as the position devalues, look at it this way,
all right, Offensive linemen, not very many of them get
paid a ton of money. It's it's usually an elite

(22:34):
lineman that gets paid a nice sum of money. Receivers
they get paid a good a good amount, but it's
you know, it's usually just the most elite receiver that
gets like a crazy contract. I think what you're seeing
is is that teams enfranchises have to figure out how

(22:57):
and I could be wrong on this.

Speaker 5 (22:59):
I could be way off on this. I would love
to hear.

Speaker 4 (23:03):
Q's response to this, because he may he would probably disagree,
But I don't want to assume anything.

Speaker 5 (23:10):
But you got to.

Speaker 4 (23:11):
Pay these quarterbacks all this money, and it doesn't seem
like there's any slowing down in terms of what these
quarterbacks are demanding. As we're moving deeper and deeper into
the years of the National Football League operating, you have
a salary cap that you have to operate under, and

(23:35):
knowing that you have to make these numbers work with
all of your employees that go on to the football field,
you got to start figuring out where you can take
money from. It's almost like, maybe this is too strong,
but it's almost like robing Peter to pay Paul. They
got to find that money within their salary cap. And

(23:56):
even though the cap goes up like it gets higher,
you still have to figure out how you're going to
pay these these quarterbacks. I mean, if you think about it,
the Baltimore Ravens did not come up with the type
of contract that Lamar Jackson wanted. He wanted, Uh, we'll
just start calling it the Massage Watson Age. Yeah, and

(24:16):
and so where we're at in that that that age,
I just think that they're gonna there's gonna be position
groups that that aren't or there's just going to be
players in general that aren't going to get paid as
much as they like, as much as they think, and
and it's going to reset the market. It's going to
reset the market for those positions, and then you're going

(24:40):
to start having the conversations of what is the value
of the position. I'll say this, I don't know that
it's necessarily true that these guys aren't like, aren't being
valued or respected on their you know, respective teams. I
just think that the price tag that that is connected
to what that next level of making more money at

(25:03):
the position not seemingly being well feasible for these teams
to pay it. I just think it's a bigger issue,
and that issue is having enough money to pay everybody
on that team, specifically the quarterback. I just think that

(25:24):
you're starting to see, if we can't buck the trend
of slowing down what's taking place at the quarterbacks position,
you're going to start with the position groupings that you
feel like you can do the most saving and get
the most bargaining off of what it is, because we
all know the best thing in football is you get

(25:44):
a guy, you develop a guy, and you get another
guy and you develop that guy, and hopefully you're developing
that guy to the point of where you don't have
to pay the other guy as much as the guy
that's behind them. If I can put in a guy
that can get it done for less money, you're going
to get rid of the guy that is making more money. Yeah,

(26:06):
that's just that's always been a part of the NFL.
It was like that when I played. You always know
your backup is there to take your job, and if
he can do a better job than you for less money,
then you're on the clock.

Speaker 1 (26:22):
So what you're saying is because the quarterback is making
so much, it comes at the cost of the wide
or the running back, where as opposed to anywhere else
on the field. It's like because the quarterback contract has
gone up. Man an offensive tackle, especially on a blind side,
there's a lot of value in that, a wide receiver

(26:43):
a lot of value in that, a tight end a
lot of value in that, and the running back is
viewed is not part of that inner circle.

Speaker 4 (26:49):
Well, elite, you got to look at it from the
elite perspective, because we're not talking about everyone right, like,
there are other I'm sure there are other positions that
aren't making maybe all the money that they should. But
when you get into talking about the elite player, see,
we're having a conversation where we're saying the position itself

(27:11):
is being devalued, and I think sometimes we run the
risk and make the mistake of not understanding it's not
devaluing the position, Jonas. It's just basically saying we can
get value from players that cost far less. We can
get them out of the draft, we can get them

(27:31):
out of free agency. There's the position. The position grouping
has not been devalued. There's still a value to having
a running back. It's just when you get into the
elite running backs that are franchise caliber guys. Now when
you're talking about saying, Okay, well you're a franchise caliber

(27:52):
guys Saquan or Jonathan Taylor or you know the guy
Josh John Josh, what Jacob excuse me? And Vegas when
you had those type of guys, now you're basically saying, yeah,
I think you guys are elite, but we could probably

(28:14):
get somebody who can do exactly what you do and
play pay them less money.

Speaker 1 (28:19):
So would you say that Saquon Barkley is a more
impactful player than Deontay Johnson of the Steelers Because Deontay
Johnson of the Steelers is set to make a little
over sixty million dollars this year and Saquon Barkley is
fighting to get the Giants up to fourteen a year.

Speaker 3 (28:40):
That's wild.

Speaker 5 (28:42):
Yeah, I mean, uh.

Speaker 3 (28:45):
That's right.

Speaker 1 (28:46):
I don't you know, it's just straight, It's it's I
just that's why I said, I don't know, like what
what do you do? Like, I mean, what's the like
where we at? And I know there's obviously stuff in
you know, dead cap hit and other things from you
know that if you go into the weeds on this stuff.
But just there is a premium put at other positions

(29:11):
that's there.

Speaker 4 (29:11):
There is at right back, because I mean, Deonta's a receiver,
they feel like he's a premier receiver for them. Is
that even a top contract for that position?

Speaker 5 (29:25):
Right right?

Speaker 4 (29:28):
I mean, that's not what Jamar Chase is going to get,
or what what Justin Jefferson is going to command or
some of these other guys. I'm talking elites of elites,
and at the receiver's position, if you can get a
guy that's an elite guy, you're going to find a
way to pay him. You're going to find a way
to pay them. Because the importance of being able to

(29:51):
catch the ball, make big catches, score touchdowns, be a playmaker.
That's what's driving television revenue. That's what's driving revenue, period
is the quarterback and the receivers.

Speaker 1 (30:03):
And so that the Deontay Johnson number, that's so that's
the cap hit number. So that's where that's what he
costs against the cap. And you've got i mean great
running backs who are like listen, Josh Jacobs is getting
you know, ten million on the franchise tag if he signs.
It's same with Sakwan Barkley. It just feels like Austin
Eckler is one of the like you look at his.

Speaker 5 (30:23):
Deal, he was a man and he was fighting for
his money.

Speaker 1 (30:26):
Because he was making like six million dollars a year
Like that was like the whole situation is just you know,
and then you've got guys like obviously Tyreek Hills getting
thirty million a year. Okay, like Tyreek Hill's on another
level than than some of these guys. But you know,
Christian Kirk is getting eighteen million, Tyler Lockett's getting seventeen too,
Mike Evans is getting sixteen to five. Hunter renfro is

(30:49):
set to get sixteen and change. Like it just where
where these guys are viewed in the total value of
the league is what. I don't want to say. It's
sad because listen, ten million dollars for its franchise tak.

Speaker 5 (31:02):
I'm about to say that, And that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (31:04):
You're not not being valued because you're getting a lot
of money. You're getting value. You're just not getting the
value that you believe you should be getting. And it
doesn't it doesn't match what the market is doing. Like
the market is always improving in football, the position markets,

(31:26):
the payments, they always go up. That's just how it
always has been. Yeah, and that's just not necessary. It
doesn't seem to be the case with running backs now.
It's just you basically need to be happy with what
you're getting so to be interesting to see, Like I
was like thinking to myself, They're like, yeah, Saquon is
being leaked out by the giants that you know Saquon

(31:49):
is basically like being greedy or something to that effect.
And you know, Saquon may be willing to sit out
the entire season. I don't know that's out the season
does I'm like, in my mind, what does that do
to improve your career?

Speaker 5 (32:06):
What does that do to improve your career?

Speaker 4 (32:08):
Because if you sit out, I mean, you're not if
you were going to get the value that you thought
you were going to get, don't you think you would
have got it instead of being you know, on the
tag he was on a non.

Speaker 5 (32:22):
Exclusive tag, right, yeah.

Speaker 4 (32:24):
Yeah, So I just don't know what the end game
was saying, yeah, I'm going to sit out with somebody's
going to get injured. That doesn't mean that they're going
to come back and now you can leverage a team
for the contract that you were looking for because someone
got injured.

Speaker 5 (32:39):
I just don't know how.

Speaker 4 (32:40):
I just don't know how that improves the you know,
the players, their you know their circumstances. So I just
think it's a complicated scenario for for elites at the
running backs position.

Speaker 3 (32:51):
Yeah, it's a tough spot to be in.

Speaker 1 (32:53):

Speaker 3 (34:45):
Morning Jonas the morning leavar you miss this.

Speaker 9 (34:48):
We've talked a lot about the NFL cracking down on
players betting on games, including included a suspension of four
Detroit Lions Isaiah Rodgers from the Colts, But according to
a reporting sources, as the NFL continues to investigate, there's
one NFL player who is reportedly lost over eight million

(35:11):
dollars through gambling, just one rat.

Speaker 3 (35:14):
That's what I'm talking about about.

Speaker 4 (35:17):
That's gambling. That's that's what you call gambling. When you're
losing that much, you're definitely gambling.

Speaker 1 (35:22):
It's about time these gambling stories in the NFL had
some balls to them.

Speaker 3 (35:26):
About time eight million. Come on, now, if we can
just throw.

Speaker 1 (35:29):
In a couple of guys, you know, you know, faking
a knee injury so they didn't have to make a
tackle because they had the over on rushing yards from
the guy they were trying to tackle. Like, listen, we
need some of that in these stories. Come on, let's
make a scandal of scandal here.

Speaker 3 (35:44):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 5 (35:45):
You guys know that Ninja's now making a wood fire grew?

Speaker 3 (35:49):
Are they really?

Speaker 5 (35:51):
That's weird.

Speaker 3 (35:51):
I didn't know that.

Speaker 4 (35:53):
Why, it's just the case you missed it. I just
thought i'd slip that in there.

Speaker 3 (35:56):
By the way, aren't they the don't they do? Like
the blender? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (36:00):
Yeah, interesting, it's.

Speaker 3 (36:02):
Kind of a jump you go from blender to wood
fired grill.

Speaker 5 (36:05):
Yeah, right, a little different.

Speaker 1 (36:07):
It's like Colgate. Colgate comes out and says we're making cars.
Now it's excuse you.

Speaker 4 (36:13):
I'm a tragger guy myself and personally, I wonder how
many grills would you be able to purchase with that
amount of money? Eight mealsion dollars? That would be Uh,
that'd be a lot of grills, A lot of grills. Yeah,
and a lot of meats to go with that grill.
Eight million?

Speaker 5 (36:31):
Yeah? What else? Blee?

Speaker 3 (36:33):
Some NBA quick hitters.

Speaker 9 (36:34):
In case you missed this, the Washington Wizards and Bradley
Bill are working together to find a trade partner.

Speaker 1 (36:38):
Neat that'll keep ESPN running for at least a couple
of weeks.

Speaker 4 (36:44):
It's time for him to have a real opportunity to win.
Bradley Bill is a really really good dude, gives back
to his community, plays well. It's been a great uh,
been a great basketball player for the city, great representative
of the city. I was there when I was there
doing media when he got drafted and actually did one
of his first interviews when he came to DC.

Speaker 5 (37:05):
So shouts out the Bradley Bill. Good luck to you.

Speaker 3 (37:08):
Just signed a two hundred and fifty million dollars contract.

Speaker 5 (37:10):
You're in for him?

Speaker 3 (37:12):
Jesus?

Speaker 5 (37:13):
All right?

Speaker 3 (37:13):
What else we got?

Speaker 5 (37:14):
Lee?

Speaker 3 (37:14):
Did you guys see this or did you miss it?

Speaker 9 (37:17):
Jamal Murray when he was walking off the court after
winning the finals, walk blown right past Russell Wilson. Sierra
doesn't look like, you know, he necessarily did it on purpose,
but he definitely kind of looked.

Speaker 4 (37:28):
It didn't look like he necessarily did it on purpose.
But with that being said, you knew that they were
sitting there during the game, so while you were walking out,
maybe maybe he just was socially awkward and was like just,
you know, kind of shook up by the fame of
Sierra and russ.

Speaker 3 (37:48):
Man everywhere everywhere Russell Wilson goes.

Speaker 5 (37:52):
It's weird. Yeah, he definitely got clown.
