Let's start off this show by well asking the guys,
the superheroes themselves, the Dynamic duo, that are the ones
that well, they don't catch balls anymore. They catch crime
and offenders of the law, and they make sure our
streets are safe to walk on. It's Pan team mate
(02:02):
and stretch Armstrong. Hey man, how are you feeling today? Man,
how's everything going?
Speaker 4 (02:08):
If we're feeling good? I was expecting that we don't
catch balls anymore. I was expecting Paul.
Speaker 1 (02:13):
Pause. We're not new to the show. Pause.
Speaker 4 (02:17):
But outside and I see clear skies and palm trees. Baby,

Speaker 5 (02:29):
You know, baby, girls down in Pennsylvania doing a thing
playing basketball. My son is at a seven or seven

young fella. So, uh, you know things is about to
get juicy.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
Okay, So how was your uh and and litten? I
appreciate the shout out on the cart and show man.

Speaker 4 (03:00):

out of ten, brother, Bamn, Hey man, I appreciate it, man.
Speaker 5 (03:08):
You know, it's a new it's a new lane for me,
and you know, I feel that the more that I
do it, you know with, the more comfortable I get.
And I'm just grateful for the opportunity, man, to be
able to still have a voice and you know, to
remain relevant.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
Man.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
So so I.
Speaker 5 (03:24):

Speaker 1 (03:35):

Speaker 3 (03:36):
I mean that's all about progression, and you know what
we can always say it started with up on game baby.
Speaker 1 (03:42):
Yeah sir, yes, sir. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (03:44):
So all right, let's jump. I mean, and you know,
I could give some propers to panteen head man, but
you know what, we know he ain't new to it.
Speaker 1 (03:52):
He's been true to it for a while. You know.
It just you know, it just got to be certain
people that that you know, ain't there and get in
there and do what he do and make the sure better. Anyway,
let's talk about some things that are going on in
the NBA.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
There was a three man trade, three team trade.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
It was more than three men. It was a three
team trade. It happened Boston, Memphis and Washington. The Celtics
received Porzingis. I know a lot of people liked him.
Some people are still high on him. The Grizzlies received
Marcus Smart. The Wizards got Gallinari. They got uh yeah, okay,
(04:30):
you said it, little Gallinari, all right, Musa Mussolini, Mouscala,
They got Tyus Jones, and they got you know, they
got picks. People got picks. The Celtics at twenty twenty
three number twenty five pick and the twenty twenty four
first round pick. The Grizzlies, Uh, not so much. The
(04:53):
Wizards they got a twenty twenty three second round pick,
and uh, you know it was it was like kind
of like an interesting trade. What was your guys's opinions
on on this this three team trade that took place.
Speaker 4 (05:09):
I felt like Memphis came out big winners. Marcus Smart
being the type of player he is being in the
league as long as he's been in it, the games
that he's played in the leadership that he's gonna bring
to Memphis, and it seems like that's what they're lacking,
and so you can get somebody like Marcus Smart, it
(05:31):
looks like they're gonna lose Dylan Brooks. He doesn't have
the size of Dylan Brooks, but he's probably a better
defensive player. He's a better offensive player. Memphis won this trade,
this three team trade. If you ask me to Porzingis went,
he was with the Knicks, he was good, he was
actually really good. And then he goes to Dallas to
play with Luca and it's like, damn, Porzenkis is what
(05:53):
would happen? He leaves Luca and he gets back to
being the Porzingi said he was with the Knicks, really
good with with the Wizards, and so if he can
be that guy, Boston is gonna be trouble for dudes,
because what do they do with Horford? They got him
Horford and Robert Williams. How does that play out? But
(06:15):
they need Porzingis to be the Knicks and the Wizards
Porzingis and not the Dallas Mavericks Porzingis. And so the
Wizards are rebuilding. You know, you're not gonna say too much.
Tids Jones goes to the Wizards. They're they're they're rebuilding.
They ship Chris Paul to Golden State for Jordan Pools
to Jordan Poole.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
He can take all the shots he wants to take.
Speaker 4 (06:38):
Now with Washington, man, they rebuilding, you're gonna be the
those you guy, But if you ask me to win
or it is it's not even closest to Memphis Grizzlies man.
Speaker 5 (06:47):
Piece of my god, Tim hardaway Man for educating me
on on how the NBA, uh you know, three team
trade works and all those things. But but when Chris
Paul was you know, traded to to Washington and then
he went to Golden State, it's been brought to me
that you know, Chris Paul would never even put put
(07:09):
on the Golden State uniform because they just really wanted
to unload the contract of Jordan Poole going to the Wizards,
and it's strictly business. And if you look at Chris
Paul's game, he doesn't even fit into what Golden State
wants to do because they wanted to just get the
ball off the break and run up and down the
court on transition, and Chris Paul is not that style
(07:32):
of player. So Mike Dunleavy just basically just unloaded the
contract for Jordan Poole because we said when when when
When Golden State lost in the playoffs, somebody had to
go between Draymond and Jordan Poole. So that was an
easy way for Mike Dunlevy in the Golden State Warriors
to get rid of.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
So d Jordan Poole. Jordan Poole got knocked out of
Golden State. He really did. I mean you got the state.
Speaker 4 (08:03):
I mean you could sit here honestly say that every
since this thing happened that the team of poor hasn't
been Yeah, it hasn't been the same.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
And I'm saying to myself.
Speaker 5 (08:16):
You know, Chris Paul is no longer starting point guard
in his league, and you look at the whole Memphis
situation with Boston getting Poorzingis, I don't think Boston got
better because you lose mister Hustle, You lose the two
time a defensive MVP of the league. You lose, You
lose the heart and soul and the glue to the
Boston Celtics. You get Poorzingis, but you lose your leader basically. So,
(08:41):
now Chris paula is in a mentorship stage in his career,
going into his nineteenth NBA season, and what places are
better for him to be and Memphis while John is
out for the twenty five games.
Speaker 3 (08:54):
With with.
Speaker 5 (08:56):
With the Marcus Smart it makes all the sense in
the world. But he has to be willing to put
his ego to the side and go and go to
Memphis and start those twenty five games. And when John
comes back, he's going to be coming off the bench. Now,
he ain't gonna come off the bench. Who Paul, No,
you said John? When John comes back? I think lineup.
Speaker 1 (09:18):
No.
Speaker 4 (09:19):
What I'm saying is, no, Chris paul is going to
have to put his secrets to the side when John
comes back, and Chris Paul is going to have to
come off the bench. Marcus is already going to be
inserted as a starter. Can you imagine Chris Paul Steph
Curry on the court at.
Speaker 1 (09:35):
The same time. If he's it's not it's not going
to happen. Can you imagine that?
Speaker 4 (09:41):
But the thing is d Draymont opted out of his option.
There is no guarantee that he's going to resign with
the Lakes. There is no guarantee that he's coming back everybody.
It's a guarantee everybody. That's why they got rid of
Jordan Poole because they want to bring He's a he's
(10:02):
a free agent. I know that he opted out of there.
He made a choice. What other He didn't have to
go back to Gold. We know he does not have to.
But I guarantee he what other team. Man, He's in
the south of France with Lebron right now, and what
that means, I'm guaranteed.
Speaker 5 (10:21):
He ain't in perform. There's no guarantee. You, hey, listen,
I know that they I know Draymond. He does everything.
He has a motive to everything.
Speaker 1 (10:29):
That he's doing. All I'm saying is this is.
Speaker 4 (10:32):
Not an opting out of a thirty million dollars a
year contract for no reason.
Speaker 1 (10:37):
Oh yeah, he played, the Warriors would pay him.
Speaker 4 (10:41):
To me, the best two fits for Draymond is number
one Golden State Warriors. The second best fit quality is
kept is a Sacramento Kings.
Speaker 1 (10:51):
Outside.
Speaker 4 (10:52):
Outside of that, you're guaranteeing that he's gonna sign ball.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
Yeah, because they you're the Warriors. He's a free trade
Jordan Poole, you trade Jordan, we want you back. Anybody
can offer him any amount of money.
Speaker 4 (11:08):
Draymont and I know his legacy is set, But if
he's not on the team with shooters, does he have
the same value, Does he have the same impact that
he has with the Warriors. I'm not so sure that
Greatmont dreamy they does not return to the Golden State Warriors.
Speaker 1 (11:26):
The Warriors basically have a team full of guards.
Speaker 4 (11:30):
If he doesn't return to the Warriors, they're not as
good I'm gonna say that, which they're not as good
without him.
Speaker 5 (11:36):
They are automatically like the fourth and fifth, fourth and
fifth best team in the West.
Speaker 4 (11:40):
They that with them, They that with them, So they
behind the Nuggets, they gonna be behind the Grizzlies. They
gonna be behind Phoenix, the Lakers, Phoenix, Pho, behind the Clippers.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
So they behind them with them, were without.
Speaker 4 (12:01):
So they they middle of the pack with Draymond, they
middle of the pack without Draymon.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
All right, well, okay, well we'll have to wait and
see how that all plays out, because I'll tell you what,

Speaker 1 (14:38):
All right, man, So you know I teased it, I
talked about it.
Speaker 3 (14:44):
I'm really curious to hear what you guys think about
this Dallas Cowboys football team, DAK Prescott, what their capabilities are,
because for me, I continue to feel as though we
may have seen as well as they can do as
(15:05):
a group. Now, I think it's an interesting move to
remove Kellen Moore and to Mike McCarthy place himself in
the play calling position. Obviously, we see how well Andy
Reid has done calling plays, and look, whether people want
to say it was Eric by Enemy or if it
(15:25):
was Andy Reid, I think most people would would agree
that Andy Reid is drawing up a lot of those plays,
most of those plays, and are calling them. I wonder
if that's going to be the same type of results
that come from Mike McCarthy taking over the play calling. Well,
no matter what my opinion is out on it, right now,
here's what Dak Prescott's opinion was an oppressor that.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
He just did. That took place on what was the
name of that radio station? Let me pull it up
here it is on.
Speaker 5 (15:57):
What was it?
Speaker 3 (15:58):
Ninety six point seven the ticket in Dallas. Here's what
Dak had to say, one thousand percent. It feels different.
You're able to take now two twelve win seasons over
into this one and build. And first time in my
career I can staffelt like consecutive seasons are building where
going back to twenty one we've been able to build.
Speaker 7 (16:16):
We built that year and then now we can build again.
And I think that's the best real chance that you
have of making is you've got to go give a NOTx.
You've got to see what it feels like in us.
Having that now you feel a lot more comfortable. You're
excited about the details, the changes that we've had on
the offense and just the team, and I'm looking forward
to it with a lot of excitement.
Speaker 3 (16:31):
It sounds like he took a direct shot at Kellen
More for one. You guys, tell me if I'm wrong,
but it also sounds to me it sounds accurate. But
it also sounds like this is a make or break
year for not only Dallas, but maybe for Dak Prescott.
Speaker 1 (16:47):
What say you guys?
Speaker 4 (16:50):
Listen, the Cowboys have a ton of talent on both
sides of the ball. I don't know how you build
when your officeer coordinates is no longer your officsive coordinator
that has been there for so long and Keller Moore.
So it's not as if you're picking up where you
left off. The head coach is going to add some
(17:14):
plays that he likes. McCarty's gonna add plays that he
likes that you guys didn't run last year. The verbiage
will be somewhat different. So what are you adding? The
Cowboys will be a good team. And I just so
happened to watch the Carton Show when mister Burrows was
on there and this discussion came up, and I agree
(17:37):
with them. They're gonna win. They just not gonna win
a championship like theyn't win. They have a ton of talent.
They should win. But because you had two twelve win
seasons does not mean automatically that, oh, now we're ready
to contend for a championship. It's office coordinator Mike McCarthy.
(18:03):
To me, it seemed like he wanted Kellen Moore gone.
He got a little power, he flexed his power. I
want him out, and now it's on you to get
this team over the hunt because you quote unquote didn't
like for play calling. You guys that run the ball
enough things of that nature. But the Cowboys are going
(18:24):
to be a good team. They just won't be the
best team.
Speaker 5 (18:29):
At the end of the day, all the blame is
gonna be placed on Dak. He has to understand that
and realize that it's a heavy price of being scrutinized
playing in Dallas when you are the quarterback of this franchise.
He has to understand that now that Kellen Moore is
gone and Mike McCarthy is going to be calling plays,
(18:53):
the single most thing he needs to be worried about
is performing. Because he's not performing in completing passes and
throwing touchdowns, then it is gonna be a make or
break season for him.
Speaker 1 (19:04):
I believe he's going to be.
Speaker 5 (19:06):
The Cowboys is gonna have some tough decisions to make
because look at all these contracts they got coming up.
Trayvon Diggs, Michael Parsons, Dak Prescott, everybody cannot get paid
on this football team. So the Dallas Cowboys is gonna
have to make some decisions moving forward if Dak Prescott
does not continue to ascend and get better as a quarterback.
(19:27):
And I don't believe they will win twelve games this year.
They went to Philadelphia last year and stole the game
on the road and they swept the Giants. I don't
believe that's gonna happen this year for the Dallas Cowboys.
I just think that they are they are basically plateauing
for where they're at now. I don't think they're gonna
(19:48):
be any better than they will last year. And they
need more offense, No more Zeke. You got Michael Gallup,
Ceedee Lamb, and Tony Pollock. They need need more offense
if they want to continue to compete in this division
because we all know that the Philadelphia Eagles are the
best team in the conference, not even the division. So
(20:10):
they're gonna have to find some offense from somewhere. And
the only person that can take this offense to another
level is Dak Prescott.
Speaker 1 (20:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (20:21):
I think what both of you guys are saying makes
a whole lot of sense. I find it to be
really accurate. I was taking the the angle of one.
This is a a bullseye on Dak Prescott, but it's
also I think it's a bigger target on Mike McCarthy.
Speaker 4 (20:41):
Any Wade LeVar, the Cowboys and Dak always gonna have
a bulls eye just because of what what Mike McCarthy did.
Everybody knows what's going what went on behind the scenes.
He basically ran Kelling Moore out of there and flex
his power and one, so he gonna have that bulls
eye regardless, at least he should.
Speaker 1 (20:59):
I think so.
Speaker 3 (21:00):
I mean I think that that honestly, TJ. I think
he got rid of Kellen Moore because that by him
another another year.
Speaker 1 (21:08):
That's what I think. And you know what, be wrong.
Speaker 4 (21:10):
I don't think so, because the Cowboys have done solid
with McCarthy. But think about this. When Mike McCarthy got hired,
we all know he didn't want Kelling Moore. He was
forced to keep Kelling Moore on conditions of getting a
job because he had no options. And then when you
get options, I want killing Moore, go.
Speaker 1 (21:27):
First thing out, first business he got you. Yeah, how
they do it?
Speaker 3 (21:33):
So now here's another angle that I was also thinking
about as well. How many years. How how long have
we seen this, this Philadelphia Eagles team be a dominant team?
How many seasons?
Speaker 1 (21:46):
Oh? Just past season? Just one, this past season. This
is one season. I'm not I'm not all the way
sold that I am. Well, I'm not.
Speaker 5 (21:56):
I am not always sold. I think that Jalen Hurst
is going to continue to get better.
Speaker 1 (22:03):
Me too. Listen, Wow, I really do.
Speaker 3 (22:06):
I will agree with the fact that they look like
the team that is the sole team of NFC. Yeah,
but they have one air of dominance. Look at the nag.
You got to start somewhere, TJ. This is where I'm going.
This is where I'm going. You do have to start somewhere.
So they have now laid down one season where they
showed that they can be a dominant team. They got
(22:26):
to come back and do it again. And here's another
thing that I will say, and well, let's talk whole
the entire NFC. Name me one team, Name me one
team outside of what we prognosticate or assume is going
to take place with the Eagles. I assume the Eagles
(22:47):
will be a dominant team. I assume the Eagles will
will I don't assume that. How can you say, San Francisco.
Speaker 1 (22:54):
Well, you assumed that last year you said that I
was wrong that.
Speaker 3 (23:00):
The Saints with win the NFC South, and you said
that with the Super Bowl, and I said the Baltimore
Bravens and the wrong. So I can assume what I
want to think, but make it my point, which, by
the way, tj Onance is off white Jordan's based in
all of it.
Speaker 1 (23:18):
Just assume.
Speaker 4 (23:18):
Yeah, y'all, Hey, hey, Plexico LeVar, you know he gonna
got his shoe game all the way up, all the
shoes on social media, and I'm like, LeVar, can I
get the shoes that you owe me?
Speaker 1 (23:31):
Bet that? Yeah that you just had to hop it.
You got people in the street calling them paying team man,
can I get my shoes? Speaking of speaking up, so
I give you your shoes when I feel like it.
Speaking on how I wont tho shoes.
Speaker 4 (23:47):
I believe that same team, the Detroit Lions, they gonna
surprise the people this year way they do last year.
Speaker 1 (23:53):
It'sh last and I told you that. Okay, So y'all
are proving my point.
Speaker 3 (23:57):
Though, there's a whole lot of assumptions that can go
the wrong way if you don't have a whole lot
of non debatable evidence that's tied in connected to what's
going on. So yes, I do expect Philly to be
the dominant team in the NFC, one hundred percent.
Speaker 1 (24:12):
I do.
Speaker 3 (24:13):
But that doesn't mean that they've established their track record
of this is just what it's going to be with
the Eagles. They still got to have another season that way,
of course, they got us another team. You can't say
San Francisco because Sam Francisco's quarterback situation that is too.
Speaker 1 (24:29):
Much up in the air.
Speaker 4 (24:30):
That is very true, but their quarterback situation is always
up in the air because you know Garoppolo is gonna
miss games.
Speaker 1 (24:37):
Trey Lance went in correct.
Speaker 3 (24:39):
Yeah, I mean yeah, But coming into this year, do
you think Trey Lance is going to be the guy?
Can Party be the guy that he.
Speaker 1 (24:46):
Was before he went? And if he not the guy,
can he be the guy once he gets back in? Guy?
Speaker 4 (24:53):
Sam Donald gonna be the guy? If Party ain't be
the guy, I'm I believe he can't.
Speaker 1 (25:00):
I believe.
Speaker 5 (25:00):
Asking the question is if if Brock Purty isn't the
guy and Sam Donald, Liz, what do the San Francisco
forty nine ers do with Trey Lance?
Speaker 1 (25:11):
Nothing? He's gotta go. He's gotta go. He's gotta go.
Why does he have to go? But he has to?
Speaker 4 (25:19):
What are you gonna get for him that's worth sending
him away? He has no value on the market exactly.
So you keep them because of what you invest in
with in and just hope that it clicks.
Speaker 5 (25:31):
I don't I don't know the rules particularly clear on
this situation. But can he continue to be on a
practice squad?
Speaker 4 (25:40):
I don't even care if they put him on a
practice while somebody I believe will claiming it's up and
nobody sign.
Speaker 1 (25:46):
The quarterback's position is.
Speaker 3 (25:48):
If you're in the National Football League and we're having
this conversation about your team right now, there's a chance
that it could go.
Speaker 1 (25:54):
It's a fifty to fifty. It's win.
Speaker 4 (25:58):
They win games because defensively they are so strong. The
quarterback just got to be competent. Okay, you could say
that about Dallas. You could say, you know, man, that
cob boy defense don't compare to the forty nine defense.
Speaker 5 (26:14):
We don't know how good the San Francisco forty nine
defense gonna be this.
Speaker 4 (26:18):
Year because head coaching takes they they got the same
players and they added Javon Hargrave.
Speaker 1 (26:24):
They you know no better than that I do.
Speaker 5 (26:27):
I do.
Speaker 4 (26:28):
But you have the same players for coach. That's what
one hundred that's what I think, one hundred percent.
Speaker 1 (26:34):
Right.
Speaker 4 (26:36):
You're right, that's day one. But did he not say?
But did we not say this? Roberts took the job
with New York. How was the forty nine ers gonna be? Demko'
rans came in. They didn't skip a beat. The miko'
ryans leez he's the head coach of the Texas. Steve
Wook's come in. I will say they skip a beat.
I will say this to your point.
Speaker 5 (26:56):
I believe that Micka ROMs was a better defense coordinator
than Robinson law Hm.
Speaker 1 (27:00):
They they played better defense. So you.
Speaker 3 (27:04):
But here's what I'm gonna say. Here's what I'm gonna say.
We named Niners. There's question marks. You name outside of Philly.
Name a team that there isn't question marks surrounding that team.
Dalvin Cook puts a question mark, a major in my opinion,
a major question mark on Minnesota.
Speaker 4 (27:18):
And what Minnesota doing. Man, they I don't know what
they doing down in the Great Lakes.
Speaker 3 (27:25):
Okay, So we say Detroit Detroit had a good year,
but Detroit didn't even make the playoffs. Detroit barely beat
five hundred as a record. I'm not making them a
super Bowl contender, even know everybody is putting them in
the super Bowl by default. Look at that division and
then you know who else? I like they quality are
gonna be pretty good. And I don't know if they're
going under the radar or not. Is the New Orleans
(27:46):
Saints defensively they are very very strong.
Speaker 4 (27:50):
Well, we say the same thing every year about the
New Orleans Saints. No, we don't think think devs and
they don't even win the damn division. Dude, Sean Payton
left one year. Sean Payton left one year. They came
down Yere, they had no quarterback. Now with Derek car there,
(28:10):
they are going to be better. They are better at
the quarterback position.
Speaker 5 (28:15):
I don't want to say obviously, is the new quarterback?
Then Cam Jordan says that New Orleans Saints were going
back to the super Bowl.
Speaker 1 (28:23):
That's what he said. That's what he said.
Speaker 3 (28:25):
And I said on two Pros and a Cup of
Joe during the week that I would zip Cord across
the entire field from from end zone to end zone
at the Super Bowl during halftime if they were there
in it.
Speaker 4 (28:37):
Hey, hey, Bob, definitely afraid of Hepe ball minimum. The
New Orleans Saints at least has to win the NFC
South Division. They should win it, but they It's a
two team race basically between between Tampa and the New
Orleans Saints. Hell and Tampa in the basement. No, who
(29:00):
you gonna put up? The Carolina Panthers. Yeah, oh no,
Alanta Falcons. May. I'm telling y'all. Hey, I'm telling y'all
bright Carolina is going to surprise us, But Anthony richards
is going to surprise us more.
Speaker 1 (29:17):
I'm watching what I'm telling you. Listen, He's the best
quarterback in this draft. I guarantee you do you want
to make a bet on this? I guarantee make a
bet on this.
Speaker 4 (29:26):
I guarantee you that Anthony Richardson will be the best
quarterback in this draft.
Speaker 1 (29:31):
So are you? You don't mean just Ricky Year, you
mean Long, I ain't mean rookie year. I'm talking about career.
Speaker 4 (29:38):
So in three years, make sure make sure y'all say
this clip three years, we're still gonna be please play.
Richard is back Anthony Richardson is the best quarterback in
this draft.
Speaker 1 (29:51):
Rookie year play year back.
Speaker 4 (29:54):
Play this back and then next season, Sam doing me
a favor, play this back, and then next season. Play
the clip Aplex talking about Trevor Lawrence after this season.
Played the clip of Plexico talking about Trevor Lawrence after
this season for your boy, Thank you.
Speaker 1 (30:08):
Bryce is gonna get Rookie of the Year. He's gonna
ball out.
Speaker 3 (30:11):
I have no no doubt about Bryce Young is call
out this year, and I think they're in better position.
Speaker 1 (30:17):
To got a horse behind him. His name is Jonathan.
Tell you he does all. You gotta horse, you gotta
behind you who they don't want to sign? We all
I want to play? Ya want to sign?
Speaker 3 (30:31):
Hey, you got to get y'all didn't hit the pause
on that one. You got like we ain't new to
the show.
Speaker 1 (30:36):
Man.
Speaker 3 (30:37):
You gotta hit pause, man, Like man, you can't hold up, man,
you can't. You can't just jump out there like that
plex like in.
Speaker 1 (30:45):
The league, like y'all ain't bring his name up, say
that that that man got a tremendously amazing horse behind him. Pause. Man.
Speaker 3 (30:56):
In fact, that's so much of a pause. We gotta
go to then update. Look at the it's conversation. Man, Hey,
let's do some trick with my man's blowing CROs code
and lost it right now? Man, he got a horse
behind him. Hey, I love what you got going on,
my guy.
Speaker 8 (31:12):
The three of you didn't skip your coffee this morning,
this show didn't started a rupt head.
Speaker 1 (31:19):
God, how you feel if somebody said you had a
horse behind you? You don't feel about that?
Speaker 8 (31:25):
I would hope that, you know.
Speaker 1 (31:28):
Just exactly if something like that was the case. Yeah, yeah,
I feel I wouldn't leave it there, just leave it.
Speaker 8 (31:41):
There out, I would run for the rail.
Speaker 1 (31:43):
Yes, you know WHOA pause to you? I love pause
to you. All right, let's get let's get let's get
an update before we go into I know.
Speaker 8 (31:56):
How about we segue for to the Cincinnati reds Uh
the feel good in sports right now because on Friday
night they won their twelfth throw. They came back to
beat Atlanta eleven to ten, their longest wedding streak in
sixty six years. In Cincinnati's twenty one year old rookie
sensation Ellie Della cruz here Gooey became the youngest player
(32:18):
in fifty one years and the majors to hit for
the cycle. The San Francisco Giants have won eleven of twelve.
Michael Conforto had four rbi in their eight five victory
over the Arizona Diamondbacks. Today's Major League Baseball action starts
half an hour from now in London. It'll be the
Chicago Cubs taking on the Saint Louis Cardinals again in London. Finally,
(32:40):
we have an NFL note for the three of you.
The Kansas City Star reporting that a Missouri prosecutor has
dismissed a misdemeanor assault charge against Las Vegas Raiders receiver
DeVante Adams for shoving a member of the Arrowhead Stadium
video production crew during a game against the Chiefs last season.
The crew member did file a civil lawsuit against Adams
(33:03):
that is still pending.
Speaker 1 (33:04):
Felons back to you, Thank you, sir. All right, we're
gonna take a quick break. We're gonna come back.
Speaker 3 (33:11):
There was an article that was published twenty twenty four
NBA mock Draft, the uncertainty with next year's class. I
know it was on ESPN, but it was kind of
interesting to see where Brownie James was discussed on being
on that. I'm curious as to what my guys feel
(33:33):
about that. All right, now, we're gonna take a quick
break and we'll be right back. And you're listening up
on Game. That's Panteen Man, that's Stretch Armstrong. I'm just
the guy that drives to get away car when they've
done handling that that take care of our streets and
clean them up business.
Speaker 1 (33:50):
All right, We'll be right back Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 3 (33:54):
I do have some Nikes on my feet, NOAs, and
you also have Plexico Burrs and my man t J.
Speaker 1 (34:00):
Huschman Zada.
Speaker 5 (34:01):
Here.
Speaker 1 (34:01):
I'm LeVar Arrington. This is up on Game.
Speaker 3 (34:04):
We're lying from the Tirack dot com studio. We got
a lot coming up in hour two, but not a
whole lot of time to get to it. But before
we get to endo hour one, I had to throw
this out at you guys. There was an article written
and released on the projection of the twenty twenty four
NBA Draft. They said that the projections were pretty There
(34:27):
was some pretty good accurate picks that took place in
this year's draft. But for next year, which I found
to be very interesting is they have well Brownnie James
going to the Atlanta Hawks at number seventeen via the
Sacramento Kings. Now I'm just curious, I hear a chuckle.
(34:52):
What what's y'all's take on seventeenth pick projection.
Speaker 4 (34:58):
I mean, obviously he's gonna have to play well this
freshman season at USC. If he doesn't play well, this
is all a moot point. If he plays well, it
will be interesting to see if that does take place.
Speaker 1 (35:11):
But you never know. Their dirge is so much.
Speaker 4 (35:14):
Man, it's a big jump from high school to college,
from college to the professional level. He has the bloodlines,
he has all the resources in the world, so it
wouldn't surprise me. But man, when when you go from
high school to college, it's not gonna be easy. But
I believe he'll be able to make the jump. Now,
(35:34):
how successful he is and how much he produces that
remains to be seen, but it wouldn't surprise me. The
majority of the time when they put these lists out,
and especially in basketball, it kind of falls how they
say it's gonna fall.
Speaker 5 (35:50):
I mean, the guys basically a shoe in. He'll make
it to the NBA. It really doesn't matter at this
point how he performs in college. Somebody's gonna give give
him opportunities because.
Speaker 3 (36:01):
His first round maybe not first round, but his dad,
his father's Lebron James his daddy or Lebron, but you
know his daddy, he is the pappy.
Speaker 1 (36:12):
He beat a baby pappy. He is a pappy.
Speaker 5 (36:15):
So regardless, he's gonna get an opportunity just because of
who his father is. And I don't think he's going to,
you know, reach that level of superstart him in college
and go to the NBA and dominate. I think he's
a good basketball player. I would like to think that
(36:38):
his basketball acumen in IQ is relatively high, just based
off of his father, and he'll just you know, going
to college, he'll probably average fifteen to sixteen points a
game and that'll be enough to push him to the
next dove. Because when I was looking at the NBA
draft the other day, you had some guys that were
(36:59):
averaging twelve thirteen points a game, and these guys were
the top four and five picks going into the NBA.
So I look forward to seeing him take that leap
from high school to college and officially to the NBA.
Not based off of him so more so his talent,
(37:20):
but more of who his father is, and that's just
something that he's going to have to live with.
Speaker 3 (37:25):
Let me ask you, guys, this is it like when
you talk about nepotism being a real thing. I've seen
it with coaches, like you know, guy that's coaching has
has gotten the opportunity because they're a sibling there, they're
a son, there, a nephew, whatever it may be.
Speaker 1 (37:46):
I don't know that I've ever really.
Speaker 3 (37:47):
Seen where a guy is put in a projection of
being such a high pick or being in his from
now right.
Speaker 1 (37:59):
So I'm just saying, have.
Speaker 3 (38:01):
You ever heard it like the only like I can
think of a few where it's like, okay, the Mannings,
but you can't say the Mannings when you're actually.
Speaker 1 (38:08):
Really good, when you just can't come Outron is good
when you came out and just told me this. I've
never heard anything like that.
Speaker 4 (38:17):
And that's what that guy from in high school Korean
projected to be the seventeenth pick in the NBA three
or four years from now.
Speaker 1 (38:27):
I've never even heard of it in any such thing.
They haven't said the three It ain't three or four
years from now. It's next year's draft. Next year, Oh yeah,
next year raft. It's a year away. Would it be
next year's draft the time he's going to declare they
clear to come out.
Speaker 4 (38:42):
He will start this recardless of what kind of song
he has, he's declined to go to the NBA.
Speaker 1 (38:47):
He's going to declare to come to.
Speaker 4 (38:48):
I mean, what I'm saying is, it's not three years out,
it's one year out. They've been saying this last year.
If he going to be the first pick, if.
Speaker 5 (38:59):
He just ten points, three rebounds, and six assists, he's
declined to go to the.
Speaker 1 (39:04):
NBA coming up. If he averaged seven points, he coming
out let alone? Ten ten points in college is a
freshman ain't bad? Would you ever see that in the NFL?
Speaker 3 (39:16):
No?
Speaker 4 (39:17):
No, no, hell, Look it's a different game. It's a
man's game in the NFL. Man, you try that, that's
really sad.
Speaker 1 (39:28):
Just think about what you just said. Think about what
you just said.
Speaker 4 (39:32):
Forget the physically, forget the football part, forget the physicality
of what's gonna come. That locker room will eat a
kid up. And you and we all know that, Yeah,
that locker room will eat a kid up. In the NFL.
You try to come in there at nineteen, man, he'd
be out of there about twenty.
Speaker 3 (39:51):
I mean, does that exist in the in the league,
in the NBA, I mean, is that a possibility.
Speaker 4 (39:57):
It's a different game. The NBA is a different it's
a different game. He's the majority of the teams. Now,
you heard what they say, you donnas Haslam. That's a rarity.
You don't have vets on the team. It's a bunch
of young guys nineteen to twenty five. That's what the
NBA is now.
Speaker 3 (40:14):
Yeah, that's fair, that's fair. Well, it'll be interesting to see.
I thought that was a pretty interesting projection. It was
curious to see what you guys thought about. You don't
get it too, I mean, why wouldn't you? Why wouldn't you?
Speaker 1 (40:25):
I mean it's bloodlines, right, Uh, this is two pros
and a couple of joke. I'm going to walk in.
Why not that gives he? That gives hey, Now, if
he has a bad year, he don't need the money.
He may stay. Who knows.
Speaker 4 (40:37):
It ain't like he needs the money. It's about the
overall development of your career. You never know a TJ.
Speaker 1 (40:43):
That just gives us all hope. Man, you know what
I mean.
Speaker 3 (40:46):
We all got kids, so we want blood lines too.
This is up on Game hour two. It's coming at
you Fox Sports Radio. We'll be right back
