How the hell we feel in here? Lebar Arrington, what's
going on?
Speaker 4 (01:34):
I mean, you can't feel any better on a day
like today, That's all.
Speaker 5 (01:38):
I'll say, Well, why is that?
Speaker 1 (01:39):
Is there something special going on today?
Speaker 4 (01:41):
I mean I think I think you know why that is.
I think you understand why that is. And I think
everyone out there that's listening is a part of understanding
why that.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
Is.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
Because it's a football Friday.
Speaker 6 (02:02):
Yeah, all right, Football Friday.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
Okay, it's a football Friday here on Fox Sports Radio.
Just a three hour extravaganza filled with football talk. And
of course, when you're talking football, you've got a lead
with Victor webbergnano security guard potentially assaulting Britney spears that
(02:34):
was the big story.
Speaker 5 (02:36):
What a the four fingerstate to the face.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
It's done a slap can I It's like every time
you feel like the NBA has got a real opportunity,
they got something, They've really started to pick up some momentum.
You got this Damian Lillard trade, and then this pops off.
Speaker 5 (02:57):
Just go with slap Britney in the face under.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
And look, we're not laughing at the fact that a
woman may have gotten slapped by a security guard. The
part that there's so many layers to the whole story
that are weird to me. So they're outside a restaurant
in Las Vegas. Obviously the Summer League is going on
there Catch restaurant in Las Vegas. I thought there was
only one in LA but apparently there's multien.
Speaker 5 (03:22):
No, there's there's I mean the original was in New York,
I believe.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
Oh really yeah, huh, well, I mean a point being.
Speaker 5 (03:31):
There at high profile place.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
That's what I heard, And so you know it's not
a place I would ever be seen at. Could you
imagine if I pulled up in my Sandford and Sun
truck at Catch restaurant?
Speaker 1 (03:40):
What do you think that was?
Speaker 4 (03:41):
That jump would be kind of funny if you was,
especially if you was vat laye, which you would probably
need the valet it, so that would be interesting.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
The ballet would go, oh no, no, no, no.
Speaker 5 (03:52):
No, are you on the list? Sir?
Speaker 1 (03:54):
Excuse me, sir? Are you also a vala? But yeah,
so you want me to prk this?
Speaker 2 (04:05):
So the So apparently she recognized Victor Webernana.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
Advertiser tonight, sir, sir, dumpsters are out back.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
So apparently Britney Spears recognizes Victor Webbanyama.
Speaker 4 (04:21):
I mean he's yeah, and go figure. I'm sure everybody
was recognized.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
Yeah, It's not like she probably thought that was a
horse jockey. She just kind of thought, okay, this is
a celebrity.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
I know he is. Well.
Speaker 2 (04:35):
I don't know if they got that far. But the
point is, I think the words right out of my mouth.
But the point is I was like the same thing.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
Matter up.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
The point is she sees Victor Webman Yama. He's with
his security guards, and he walks up to him and
apparently is talking in a British accent and is saying,
excuse me, sir, excuse me sir, which I don't understand,
what's with the British accent.
Speaker 1 (05:12):
I don't get it.
Speaker 2 (05:13):
And apparently she went to put her hand on his
shoulder and one of the security guards struck her. Now
there's conflicting reports. Somebody from Wembin Yama's camp says that
he apparently hit her hand in her hand hit her
own face. There's a eyewitness who talked to TMZ who said, no,
he clearly struck her, knocked her glasses off. She then
(05:37):
was heard screaming this is America in.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
A British accent. Maybe still, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
I don't know if she was method acting and kept
with the British accent the whole time.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
But the point is, right when the NBA.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
Feels like they've got the next big thing, something weird happens,
and it reminds me of the last time the NBA
had the next big thing. It was Zion On Williamson
and Zion Wimson was in Vegas for the Summer League
and an earthquake hit.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
Las Vegas that night.
Speaker 2 (06:06):
So it just feels like, and I'm not making that
a little legitimate earthquake, it just feels like the NBA
can't get out of its own way sometimes just pure chaos.
There a catch restaurant.
Speaker 5 (06:17):
I mean, it sounds like.
Speaker 4 (06:19):
A very very curious story for the simple fact that
wimbin Yanna has been.
Speaker 5 (06:27):
Tall his entire life.
Speaker 4 (06:29):
He has been climbing the ladder to get to where
he is for a very long time.
Speaker 5 (06:37):
And then now he's a draft.
Speaker 4 (06:39):
Pick and he's out to eat and and and low
behold the one name of one of the few names
that would ever be on a list right, a short
list of people that might be seeking attention. It's connected
(07:00):
to Victor Wimbanyana having a a trying to enjoy a
peaceful meal while he's, oh, by the way, getting getting
acclimated to being an NBA player in the summer league. Yeah,
just it just when you when I when I saw
the story, I just immediately thought to myself, it could
(07:24):
only be Britney Spears, and it could only be a
couple other names that would be on a list of
Mariah Mills like that.
Speaker 1 (07:32):
That's true.
Speaker 4 (07:34):
I'm just saying there could only be a few people
that would want to seek the attention of approaching the
number one overall draft pick and then doing the shenanigans
that led to her wanting to call or calling the
cops to to assist her.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
U now and in a British accent, no, less, you know,
because you got it. That's that's a key element to
the story. A British accent.
Speaker 4 (07:59):
I mean, if I'm if I'm the law enforcement, I
show up, and I show up just so I can
get Victor Winbinyan's autograph or or a little selfie photo
or something like that. And then I look at Britney
Spears and I say, miss, miss Spears, we're gonna have
to escort you off of the property. He's he you
can't have this, this young man feeling like this is
(08:23):
the way it's going to be here in America. That's
just not the way we do things around here.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
And so do you still have the outfit from the
toxic video?
Speaker 4 (08:32):
And if you do, burn it because nobody wants to
see you in it today. So let's just be let's
just be real here. There's just a couple of people
that I know you sat there and you said, oh,
we're not laughing. I heard getting mashed in the head
and doing this. But I'm just being honest. I don't
(08:52):
condone a woman being being assaulted, being being handled aggressively.
Speaker 5 (08:59):
I don't.
Speaker 4 (08:59):
I don't look at that as being tolerable at all.
If there's one moment where you see a story and
you say that ass ain't happened that way, it's this one.
Speaker 2 (09:12):
Yeah, it's this one. It's very weird, man. It's just
this is the this is par for the course, NBA
fodder like this, like the like, this is typical drama,
got nothing to do with basketball, and the NBA finds
themselves wrapped.
Speaker 5 (09:28):
Up in it.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
It's like the Zion Mariah Mills.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
It's like all the other stuff that goes on, just
the passive aggressive social media post. Jah Morant using a
gun lighter to try and scare people and then continuing.
Speaker 5 (09:41):
So you're still going to maintain that it's a gun lighter.
Speaker 1 (09:44):
Well, I mean he did light some candles. I mean
we did. We did see uh you know, have evidence
of that. There was a video that made it.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
Now the gun in the in the video, I'm not
quite sure, you know. And I don't want to be
reckless here and say that was like a hand cannon it.
I mean, it could have been a gun lighter.
Speaker 5 (09:59):
You know.
Speaker 2 (09:59):
I'm gonna trust Joah Moran. He's been so honest and
forthcoming with everything so far. So you know, I'm gonna
go ahead and trust him for you know, the way
he's handled everything.
Speaker 4 (10:07):
Again, I venture out to say, why, like, why would
anybody lean on that if he pulled that out in
an airport and started doing what he was doing for
for his uh you know, for the social media, for
the Graham.
Speaker 5 (10:25):
For the talk. It ends poorly, Okay, so what are
we even talking about here?
Speaker 2 (10:31):
Look Aldon Smith yield bomb at Lax as a joke
and they did not take that as a joke like
they They made sure to let him know, yeah, that's
that's not funny, and he was arrested for it.
Speaker 1 (10:42):
So yeah, it's just a.
Speaker 2 (10:46):
Wild, wild you know case of the NBA and Britney
spears and British accents.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
Maybe she did.
Speaker 2 (10:54):
Do you think she thought that Victor Webinamo was British
and maybe that's why she did the British accent.
Speaker 5 (10:59):
That might be what it is because he is from overseas.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
Yeah, but I mean, you know, France England feels like
a big difference.
Speaker 4 (11:06):
I mean, but it might not be a big difference,
you know what I mean. Like, she's traveled the world
so whoever says she did it in a British accent
instead of a French French accent or French, I mean,
French is a different language. I mean you're speaking a
different language. But nonetheless, Britney Spears is a world traveled person,
(11:27):
like she has been around the globe performing, so in
that moment, she wanted to sound like she was French
so she could relate to him. But with English involved
in trying to sound French.
Speaker 2 (11:43):
Yeah, it makes all the sense in the world. By
the way, mean you keep talking, you keep talking about
Victor Webbanyama. Yeah, I feel like with you discussing it,
you're kind of leaving out you know something that you
d a gem. You dropped on the show a couple
of weeks ago, and we talked about Victor Webanyama. What
about I think there was like a song you know
that you you did with his last name. If I'm
(12:05):
not mistaken, some sort of.
Speaker 4 (12:09):
Me your mom no, no, no, no, she could cool
huma whom my.
Speaker 7 (12:20):
Meum, she could cool, wimmy, wimmy.
Speaker 1 (12:33):
Oh man, how about wemby huh?
Speaker 2 (12:37):
By the way, racist, this is a that that's a
fair point. I didn't do it I want to be there,
but you mad, you know you tell like a big, big,
big opening weekend for Victor Webbin Yama some would call
the human wind puppet who all of a sudden finds
(12:59):
him so elf the center of attention, and maybe.
Speaker 4 (13:03):
Uh or Britney Spears finds herself the center of attention
with something associated with Victor. That's true, Go figure, It's
just unbelievable.
Speaker 5 (13:17):
Go figure, man.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
Uh It is two pros and a cup of Joe
here on Fox Sports.
Speaker 5 (13:23):
Me.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
So we're gonna have the usuals coming up later on.
We got another edition of vcase you missed it. We've
also got some over unders who've got you any you out.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
Plus, because it is a football Friday, we've got a
very special appearance from Von Miller, super Bowl Champion, super
Bowl MVP, future Hall of Famer. He's gonna stop by
later on. It's all yours, a three hour fun fest
on a Friday here on Fox Sports Radio. But you
talk about going to town, not only did they go
(13:55):
to the body, but he went to the head and
he didn't stop after or the knockout was completed. A
former star player berries an entire franchise.
Speaker 1 (14:07):
You'll hear it next here on Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 3 (14:09):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 7 (14:26):
Give me a sun if you're seven.
Speaker 5 (14:31):
Ford, it's mine.
Speaker 2 (14:33):
They did it is Two Pros and a Cup of Joe.
Fox Sports Radio. He's LeVar Arrington, I'm Jonas Knox with
you here. Coming up in uh we'll call it about
twenty minutes from now here from the tire rack dot
Com Studios.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
A legend is back.
Speaker 2 (14:52):
A lot of people have been speculating whether or not
this legend in the NFL would make his return.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
We've got good news for he's back.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
We'll give you the details on that coming up a
little over twenty minutes from now here on FSR. SO
LaVar we were talking about this over the past couple
of weeks, just sort of, you know, the case for
players who deserve to be in some Hall of fames.
You know, it's been like some guys who have been screwed,
some guys who have been you look at and go,
how are they not in the Hall of Fame. And
(15:21):
there's been several examples that we've brought up. We've talked about,
you know, running backs that deserve to be in the
Hall of Fame that aren't in the Hall of Fame,
just sort of what the future of that position is
going to be like as far as being in the
Hall of Fame. You've you know, been pounding the table
for Fred Taylor to be in the Hall of Fame.
Another guy that you brought up in the course of
the conversation was Corey Dillon.
Speaker 1 (15:42):
And Corey Dillon, I mean the numbers are there.
Speaker 2 (15:45):
He's got over eleven thousand yards, he's you know, he's
got a touchdowns, he's high up on the list, like
all all the stats that you.
Speaker 1 (15:53):
Would need you would look at. He's got a Super
Bowl of New England.
Speaker 2 (15:56):
But he's not in the Pro Football Hall of Fame
and he's not even in the Bengals Ring of Honor.
And so Corey Dillon decided he wanted to share his
thoughts on the you know, the slight not being in
the Bengals Ring of Honor, which is voted on by
(16:17):
mostly by season ticket holders, and so he was reached
out to by Paul Dayner Junior does a great job
covering the Bengals for the Athletic and just wanted.
Speaker 1 (16:28):
To know, Hey, what do you think of everything that's
gone on? So here are some uh.
Speaker 2 (16:35):
By the way, So here's here's some of the excerpts
from Corey Dillon. And hope everybody in Cincinnati is listening
to this. Said, if you're a season ticket holder, he's
got some words for you. Quote. I don't pull no punches.
I'm not ducking anybody. I don't have no friends. I'm
not trying to protect, so I can speak freely about
(16:55):
whatever I need to speak freely about. It's damn near criminal.
What the bank ring of honor voters are pulling off?
To be honest with you, did I not play for them?
I don't know, bro. I'm curious about that because it
looks like they are glossing over me for what reason?
Because I left. That's not a good enough reason. You
are telling me there's five other guys better than me
(17:16):
at my position, and trust me, this is not a
shot at other players.
Speaker 1 (17:20):
So he goes on.
Speaker 2 (17:22):
He then says, when they asked, you know about the
numbers and sort of what what he thinks of you know,
his numbers in comparison to some other guys and all
the other stuff that's out there. Corey Dillon goes on
to say, you know the efery that's going on, we
can shoot this straight. That's the only way I like it.
I don't need no sympathy, bleeping vote. I don't want
(17:43):
that bleep, not at all. This is just straight man
demand conversation. Bleep, here's the facts. Where why are people
glossing over the facts? Chad Johnson was popular, that's bs bro.
There's a thousand mferors more popular than me, and football
are their stats like my No, I never played this
game for a popularity vote. Never have I played the
(18:04):
game to win and win and win again. I don't
know how this came off about, Oh we like him more?
Speaker 1 (18:11):
Who gives a bleep?
Speaker 2 (18:12):
Go out there and win games, to be honest, to
keep it real, I'm the most decorated Bengal period outside
of Anthony Munnos much respect. That's one of my idols.
He put in the work, So did Ken Riley and
Ken Anderson. Other than that, I should have been the
next dude in. And then when he's asked about just
sort of the season ticket holders and the Bengals not
(18:34):
you know, putting him in and not taking precedent and
taking the reins over this. Corey Dillon goes on to say,
whose fault is that? Not mine? I'm trying to keep
it as simple as possible. There's no bleeping excuse for
what they are doing. Should Chad Johnson be in the
Ring of honor? Of course he should. He's the best
at wide receiver, f and Wright. I'm not trying to
(18:54):
put player versus player. That's not where I'm going. I'm
going the whole structure of how they are putting people.
It's bleeped up. I tell you what, man, I don't
like my career being in the hands of any bleeping buddy.
To be honest with you, who are they to say
I'm not worthy of That's where I'm at with this stuff.
If you've been in the trenches and you know what
a sacrifice it is, playing hurt, playing when you didn't
(19:16):
want to, you didn't know you think that bleep was
easy going out there every week with a nine man
eight man box and suiting up and saying, bleep it
it's time to go. Who wants that? Who would suit
up for that. That's where I'm coming from. And then
he goes on to basically say that the Bengals organization
was pretty smart for putting this on the fans and
(19:38):
just for you know, letting the season ticket holders take
the blame for why he's not in the Hall of
Fame and them not taking the reins themselves and making
sure that he gets in the Ring of Honor there
in Cincinnati. So pretty brutally honest comments from one Corey
Dillon on the handling of the Cincinnati.
Speaker 5 (19:56):
It wasn't that bad though, That wasn't that wasn't well,
I'm that bad.
Speaker 4 (20:00):
A lot of it, Okay, Yeah, Well, if you know,
if you know Big Corey Dillon, you know that he
he talks his talk. So that's just a part of
his lingo. The profanity, I mean, but the content, the
message itself within those words, it's not bad. It's there's
(20:20):
he he didn't tell any lies. Now I'll say this,
he was a four time pro bowler, but I don't
I don't see anywhere where he was ever a an
All Pro. And I just you know, the stats. The
stats are the stats. So then now it becomes the
lifelong debate of Pro Bowls, All pros versus stats. You
(20:43):
have guys that statistically rank right there with other players
that are considered to be the best to ever do
it in the league, first ballot Hall of Famers, and
then you have guys that that are comparable to them,
that didn't have the the accolades in terms of being
an All Pro or or even being a Pro bowler,
(21:06):
and they're they're they're not even being considered. I'll give
you a great example right off the top of my head.
I think of Carlos If you look at Carlos Dansby
played linebacker in the National Football League, and you take
his career stats and you compare them to ray Lewis's
career stats, they're very very very comparable, very comparable stats.
(21:30):
So what what makes Ray Lewis the first ballot Hall
of Famer and considered the greatest linebacker one of them
of all time versus someone like a Carlos Dansby who
doesn't come with all of the fan fare and and
didn't get all of the accolades in terms of Pro
Bowls and All Pros, And they're not they're not even
(21:54):
being considered for for the Hall of Fame.
Speaker 2 (21:56):
You can do the same with Zach Thomas to Brian
er Lacker, and that show couldn't figure out why it
took so long for Zach Thomas to get in. Sure,
to Corey Dillon's point, I mean, there is a popularity
element to all this which maybe you know shouldn't be
included in some of the thought process behind this.
Speaker 4 (22:15):
It's just hard. It's hard to remove that element from it.
It just I mean, if you look at what the
voters are dealing with and how many people they're they're
looking at and considering. That's why I was so surprised
that I eventually got like, I was like, it's been forever.
(22:37):
I probably won't ever go into the College Football Hall
of Fame. It's just too many people. And I feel
like the further out you get, the less people are
going to pay attention to what you did. And and
I feel like that's what you know, that happened to
Harry Carson, that happened to Art Monk, it happened. It
has happened two players quite a bit where you look
(23:00):
at their body of work and you're sitting there and
you're saying to yourself, how are they not in? And
if they're not in by now are they ever going
to get in? And so to me, you know, no
one's ever. It's human human era that is involved in
all of this. So maybe it's not going to always
(23:24):
be done exactly the way people want it to be done.
But there are a few layups you would say that,
you know, they should probably be strongly considered to get
the bid and for what it's worth all things given
some of the things missing. Corey Dillon is one of
(23:46):
those guys that belongs. He at least belongs in the conversation.
And there should be a more assertive effort in terms
of how you're looking at guys' bodies of work versus
but their accomplishment accolades are I think there is an
element there that is missing that should be a little
(24:07):
bit more prevalent in looking at who gets the call.
Speaker 2 (24:11):
So the exact quote on the season ticket holders making
the decisions as opposed to people within the organization from
Corey Dillon quote, and that's garbage, that's garbage. This should
be solely predicated on the authorities of the Bengals, the owner,
the president, whatever. There should be a special committee. This
isn't a popularity contest. This is football. You're going to
(24:33):
put in somebody who is more popular than somebody who's
got stats. Bengals are smart, I give it to them.
We will put it in the hands of the season
ticket holders so they don't have to take the backlash
over who the voters are picking. That's bs. That bleep
should come straight from the team. Half these season ticket
holder people never seen half of us play. And then
when Paul Danner Junior asked him, Corey, what do you
(24:54):
want me to do with all this? Do you want
your voice out there? He said, Man, you can quote
me word for effing word print it because nobody gets
this bleep. I wanted exactly what I told you. No spins,
no nothing, God bless Corey Dillon. Couldn't this been like
it wasn't Paul Daanner Junior recording the interview like this
would have been a great rand that.
Speaker 1 (25:15):
We could use.
Speaker 5 (25:16):
Yeah, that sound good.
Speaker 2 (25:17):
Now let me ask you this because there could be,
you know, an argument for the Bengals. And I'm not
saying that the Bengals have an argument here, but I'm
saying if you wanted to make one for the Bengals,
it could be the fact that Corey Dillon's last game
with the team, he threw his shoulder pads into the stands.
Speaker 5 (25:31):
So you know, maybe people having hard feelings.
Speaker 4 (25:35):
Man, maybe no doubt about it. People, I'm not listen.
I'm not in the in the Washington Ring of Fame.
I got more Pro Bowls than than some of the
guys in that Washington Ring of Fame.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
Oh man.
Speaker 5 (25:49):
So I mean.
Speaker 3 (25:52):
It.
Speaker 4 (25:53):
My whole thing is, My whole thing is if you
do you do, If you don't, you don't. If you
had a career that's undeniable, then you ain't got to
worry about that. To the other side of it, right,
if you had a career and I mean he has
a Super Bowl, I mean he did win a Super
Bowl with with UH with New England. I just I
(26:14):
look at Corey Dillon's situation and and even some of
the other guys that we have named, and.
Speaker 5 (26:21):
It's just.
Speaker 4 (26:23):
Sometimes it's hard to justify it on the other side
of it.
Speaker 5 (26:29):
And and and meaning.
Speaker 4 (26:32):
If if you had did more, if you had dominated more,
you wouldn't have to worry about it. I mean, I'm
just being honest, like if you want to put like
like for me, when I made that the comparison, like
you make the comparisons like, all right, statistically speaking, guys
are comparable. But what separates the stats from the player,
(26:55):
And I'm going to say it's the impact. It's it's
what what what you see? And you can possibly call
that a popularity contest, But for what it's worth, you've
never seen anyone outside of Michael Singletary emphatically impact the
game the way that Ray Lewis impacted the game. If
(27:16):
you look at Adrian Peterson, you will see very few
running backs that have ever played the game have impacted
the game emphatically the way that Adrian Peterson impacted the game.
Barry Sanders, same thing. Now I'll say this. You look
at someone like Emmitt Smith, you might say Emmitt Smith
(27:39):
was the benefactor of a dope ass quarterback and a
crazy dope offensive line.
Speaker 5 (27:44):
Yep, but he broke the rushing record. He broke records.
Speaker 4 (27:52):
So to me, when you have undeniable accolades, well you
can't be denied.
Speaker 2 (27:59):
Well, it's also the argument, right, like, like, what's the
you know, the play when you think of Frank Frank
Gore's great moments in the NFL, what's the one play
that stands out. You can't really think of one, but
he's got sixteen thousand yards. Yeah, I mean at some
point like yeah, it's compiling, but damn man, especially at
that position, to play as long as he did.
Speaker 4 (28:19):
You should there should be certain circumstances where reward is
there for those who did what they did in the game.
And it doesn't have to be based upon if they
were a Pro Bowl or if they were a Hall
of Famer. How does that or or even statistically speaking.
Speaker 2 (28:35):
So how does it land with you? Because I think
the problem with Corey Dillon just as we just keep
it with the Bengals. You know, he buried the organization
and said I'd rather be flipping burgers and play here.
Speaker 1 (28:47):
At one point.
Speaker 2 (28:47):
Something along those lines, you know, went on another rant
like that he threw his shoulder pad pads into the stands.
When you're there and you're ripping the organization and you
don't want to play there because you're not happy, and
he wasn't the only I mean, look, you do the
show with t J.
Speaker 1 (29:01):
Huschman Zada. I'm sure he's told stories about how dysfunctional
it was. Carson Palmer felt the same way.
Speaker 5 (29:07):
I mean, look, no further than my career. Yes, that's
the same thing.
Speaker 2 (29:10):
So when you when he is complaining as much as
he is about the organization and then years later starts
complaining about not being in their ring of honor, like
it feels like he's kind of going against himself because
in real time he didn't want any part of it,
and now in retrospect, now he wants all the credit
(29:31):
for his time there.
Speaker 1 (29:31):
And I get his argument.
Speaker 4 (29:33):
But and that's always I mean, when when things go
that way, that's that's there's going to be a legitimacy
to what it is that you're saying. And and for
good or for bad, for better or for worse, when
things go wrong between an organization and a player, that
stuff isn't that it doesn't get let go. No, I
(29:56):
still don't bang with Dan Snyder. Dan Snyder still doesn't
don't bang with me to day, not yesterday, not the
day before, to day, Me and me and me and
Dan don't bang. So that stuff is long lasting. I
was surprised I got into which was voted by by
(30:19):
the fans. It was voted by the fans. I don't
I don't take the fan vote. I don't take the
fans lightly.
Speaker 5 (30:26):
I don't.
Speaker 4 (30:26):
I don't take that aspect of it lightly because again,
you could say, theoretically, what would we be without the fans,
But we saw the COVID year. We know what we
would be without the fans, and it would not be
the same exact thing. It would be not it would
not be the same exact feeling. It just wouldn't be
the same if the fans weren't a part of it.
So the fans make the game go. The media make
(30:48):
the game go. That's why fans and media are included
in every single thing.
Speaker 5 (30:54):
You know.
Speaker 4 (30:54):
Once Corey Dillon retired, you know who still continued to
be a part of of football in the media. And
that goes for all of us. So you gotta know
how to play the game. I mean, some of this
is political. Some of this isn't just about being like
just straight up like I'm gonna just call it how
(31:14):
I see it, and it's gonna be how I feel
and this that and the other, and if.
Speaker 5 (31:18):
You don't like it, ef it I should be it.
Speaker 4 (31:20):
Like those people are the ones that can help you
get in Yeah, and you know, so it is what
it is. We all have our choices that we make
and we all have our paths that we're going to take.
And maybe if Corey could have had some of those
things that took place that may have made him look
a certain type of way to Cincinnati, to the decision makers,
(31:43):
to the fan base, maybe maybe things are maybe he's
looked at differently. But with the same thing being said,
he doesn't play the way that he plays if he
isn't the person that he is, you know, same thing
with you look at Marshawn Lynch, like it's the same
type of thing, like you love the way he played,
but sometimes that stuff gets him in a little bit
of trouble, and it's like, does that little bit of
(32:06):
trouble have an impact and a bearing on his view,
his vantage or his opportunity to be a Hall of Famer,
And you would have to say, yes, it does, you know.
And that's just the reality of it.
Speaker 2 (32:20):
It's two pros and a cup of Joe here on

Good morning everybody, Good morning Jonas, Good morning LeVar, guys.
In case you missed it, Lots of headlines coming out
of Michael Rubins white party at the fourth Lap, I
hit the effect on the racist Michael Rubin. Of course,
the CEO of Fanatics held a white party. I don't
(34:33):
know why it's a white party. Well I do know
why it's a white party.
Speaker 1 (34:36):
We know you wouldn't be We know you wouldn't be there.
Speaker 5 (34:38):
Last Oh he'd be at that one. No, he wouldn't.
Speaker 6 (34:46):
Michael Rubins all white party on the fourth of July.
Of course, star studded uh guest list there and of course,
rumors are are heating up that Tom Brady and Kim
Kardashian were reportedly super flirty at the party, adding to
the room that this might be the all time.
Speaker 1 (35:03):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (35:03):
Yes, Tom's back, Yes, let's do it. We were wondering
if he was going to be back. He's back, man,
I don't want to see the NFL.
Speaker 5 (35:10):
I don't want to see that.
Speaker 1 (35:10):
You don't want to see that.
Speaker 4 (35:12):
No, because Tom Brady is like all American. Like he's
like an all American guy. Man, Like, what are you
getting at?
Speaker 1 (35:20):
He doesn't meet the criteria for Kim Kardashian.
Speaker 5 (35:23):
She doesn't meet the criteria for Tom Brady.
Speaker 2 (35:25):
Are you trying to say that she doesn't shop at
that aisle? Is that what you're trying to say?
Speaker 4 (35:30):
I mean no, I mean she had her chance, She's
already had all all the way all American and Reggie Butch,
you screwed it up with Reggie. I don't think that
you should get an opportunity to get Tom.
Speaker 1 (35:43):
As Maybe Tom.
Speaker 6 (35:46):
Maybe Tom's trying to make up for those FTX losses.
Speaker 1 (35:49):
Oh geeze, like we got to.
Speaker 5 (35:51):
He's a gold digger now, Oh?
Speaker 6 (35:53):
I mean am what he usually does? Hit above the
belt or you know, above his weight class.
Speaker 2 (35:59):
That him and is so, Him and Giselle reportedly lost
forty eight million dollars combined on that FTX crash, the
Crypto crash.
Speaker 4 (36:08):
Geez, even if all I know is forty eight million,
I don't. I don't want to hear that there's a
couple out there that's Kim Kardashian then Tom Brady.
Speaker 5 (36:17):
I just don't. I don't.
Speaker 4 (36:18):
I don't want to see it. I'm just not interested
in that. I'm not I'm not into.
Speaker 1 (36:23):
That, you know what, I'm into it?
Speaker 5 (36:26):
Yeah, I'm sure you.
Speaker 2 (36:27):
I think I think that would show a lot of
range by both individuals.
Speaker 4 (36:33):
You know, well, you know, right, you go from Brazilian
supermodel to uh what, oh my bad bit business media mogul.
Speaker 2 (36:44):
Well, I'm just saying, if you know, if you know
Kim Kardashian's resume, what the old Roddy Piper quote. Just
when they think they got the answers, I changed the questions.
Speaker 5 (36:53):
You know.
Speaker 2 (36:54):
It's like, right when you think you know Kim Kardashian,
she changes the question on you and goes off speed
out of nowhere.
Speaker 5 (37:00):
I mean people are allowed to have passed.
Speaker 4 (37:04):
I get that, but god, Lee, she had I mean
they that the whole family has like just mode plowed
through you know people, And I guess because their dating
is out there and they're high profile people, but they
have plowed through some men just saying Tom, don't don't
like get out, like, don't don't.
Speaker 5 (37:23):
Go oh man, we don't want to lose you. Tom.
Speaker 1 (37:26):
Have some fun, you know. Okay, what else we got?
Speaker 3 (37:29):
Lee?
Speaker 6 (37:30):
In case you miss an update on the story we've
talked before in the show Chief super Fan UH Chief's
aholic Xavier Bubadar has evaded authorities for months after allegedly
taking part in a bank robbery before a Chiefs game.
Speaker 1 (37:43):
He's still on the loose. He's still he's still evading authorities.
That he's still on the loose.
Speaker 5 (37:47):
His bondsman, Michael Lloyd.
Speaker 1 (37:50):
That's a good spot to hide.
Speaker 6 (37:51):
It works out for some people. Is now his bondsman,
Michael Lloyd is now asking for h He's offering a
twenty five thousand dollars reward for any information that leads
to his arrest.
Speaker 2 (38:02):
So this guy dressed up in Chiefs gear, had a
whole ensemble. He's been at games in this in the
same outfit, not just.
Speaker 6 (38:08):
Chiefs gear, a whole wolf outfit is iconic wolf outfit.
Speaker 2 (38:12):
I mean, how many how many Chiefs Wolves are lying
around out there that that it's don't you at some
point reward him for evading police for this long?
Speaker 5 (38:20):
Like, hey, you know what, tip that's a super fan?
Speaker 1 (38:22):
Yeah, like, hey, you tip your cap. The fact that
he's folded.
Speaker 5 (38:26):
Off on him. I can't snitch on the super fan
that's the wolf.
Speaker 2 (38:31):
But you know what he's gonna do, just to really
throw everybody off, He'll start showing up to Raiders games
and pretend to be a Raiders fan. Because there's no
way in hell anybody would do that if they're a
diehard Chiefs fan.
Speaker 5 (38:42):
That is very true.
Speaker 4 (38:43):
That's gonna be his move unless you robbed a bank.
Speaker 1 (38:49):
Oh man, there you go.
Speaker 3 (38:51):
