All right, Jeff, how's your birthday?
Speaker 2 (01:54):
Man?
Speaker 1 (01:54):
How is your your around the golf? How how'd your
birthday go?
Speaker 3 (01:58):
It was? It was good man, run of golf i've
ever played. And you know, I've always said if I
play a little bit more, you know you'd be better
at it. So I wish I played more. But it
was a good day. Man. Wasn't that hot. It was
like in a low nineties, so it wasn't terribly bad.
And uh I played some good golf. It was fun.
It's it is. Are you golfer? By the way you golf?
Not a golfer? Okay? So I wish I was able
(02:22):
to golf more. But you know, twice a month from
like April to August is probably about what I do
ten maybe ten twelve rounds a year. And uh, it's
I learned after shooting a good round for me yesterday,
I shot ninety three. It's the best I've ever shot.
Is that it's much more exhausting to play good golf
than bad golf, Like you have to try harder when
(02:46):
you shoot well, you're like, oh, okay, I got to
think about the shot I'm gonna take because I want
a better score. You shoot one o three. It's just
not it's not it's not as much work, not as
much work. So it was it was good. Got some
some sushi last night and you know what, been early,
so I wake up and do some radio with you.
It was it was good birthday. Love it, love it
all right.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
So look, we're broadcasting live from tyrat dot com studios.
Tyraq dot com will help you get there an unmatched selection,
fast free shipping, free road hazard protection, and over ten
thousand recommended installers ti rac dot com. The way tire
buying should be the reason why I waited to do that.
That read yes is well for a person. Your tires
(03:28):
are your your bottoms. You know your your shoes and
stuff like that, and you want to check the traads
on your shoes and this, that and the other. Well,
you know, we do odd hours of the night to
do this radio and deliver this this amazing content on
a East Coast morning drive time.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
So it's three am here.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
Well this morning, Jeff, I was so focused in on
the show and things that I needed to do that
I actually forget to bring shoes. So you just you're
just in the studio right now, but I have no shoes.
Speaker 3 (04:08):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
It's one of the most interesting things that I can
say in recent memory that I've never had a situation
where I was faced with having to get out of
my car.
Speaker 3 (04:25):
What did you realize you're going to have the shoes?
Speaker 1 (04:27):
What I pulled into the parking lot, was about to
get out of a car. So I'm talking to Lee,
and Lee's like, is that isn't that illegal? So that
it sparked a debate of can you drive barefoot? Absolutely well,
apparently I'm not alone and think of this. Apparently it's
(04:49):
considered a widespread urban legend that many believe it is
illegal to drive barefoot. I guess people were probably told
this when they were learning how to drive. So I
had to look it up in every all fifty states.
It is legal in all fifty states.
Speaker 3 (05:03):
Of course it's legal. Who thought that?
Speaker 1 (05:06):
I mean immediately said to me, wasn't that illegal?
Speaker 3 (05:11):
Do you wear? Do you wear foot flops or or
sandals at any point in your life?
Speaker 4 (05:15):
I wear them all the time and drive with them on. Yeah,
and I probably consider that more dangerous than driving with
regular shoes or even barefoot.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
It's more dangers to drive with footballs than barefoot.
Speaker 4 (05:26):
Yeah, that's what I would think.
Speaker 1 (05:27):
I always drive, I literally one hundred percent of the
time drive barefoot. I take I take my shoes off,
or I don't put them on at all to drive.
So so say I went to the grocery, I drive
to the grocery barefoot. I'll put my shoes on, I'll
go into the grocery, I'll come out. I'll take my
(05:48):
shoes off immediately before I start driving.
Speaker 4 (05:50):
Now, if you had showed up to the grocery store
without shoes on, you wouldn't go into the grocer.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
I would not. I would not, I wouldn't.
Speaker 4 (05:56):
That's probably illegal.
Speaker 3 (05:57):
I mean, one of people think that urban luxury because
women in the drive that have wear heels and stuff
they take them off to that's that's a good point.
That a good point there. Who thought this was illegal?
There's people that I would imagine living in the countryside.
They get on vehicles.
Speaker 1 (06:12):
Immediately asked me if it was a legal So I
did look the laws up, and it is illegal to drive,
say a motorcycle or off road vehicles without footwear of.
Speaker 3 (06:20):
Oh my god, I'm sure. I'm sure a lot of
people in the country are going to be are gonna
be sighted for the far.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
Yeah, look at that bear biker's going down the highway, Adventer.
Speaker 3 (06:35):
What other urban myths do you believe it that aren't true?
I gotta know, you know what your motor runing.
Speaker 1 (06:44):
My way for to be bearfooted?
Speaker 3 (06:55):
Now?
Speaker 2 (06:55):
So far?
Speaker 3 (06:56):
Like do you work out? But I know people some
people will work I mean I don't. I don't.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
I know every once in a while, if I'm doing
something with legs, which is very rare, I might take
my shoes off.
Speaker 3 (07:10):
I might take them off. I think I told the
story before. Willie Cologne were playing the NFL for a
long time. A good buddy of mine, you know, in
the in the media realm as well. He he used
to lift barefoot and it was the best. It was
like Willie was late in his career. He was still
kicking him out on the football field that we worked
out together in Arizona. He would show up in a
(07:32):
rental car that was often a luxury sports car. He'd
be shirtless, no shoes on, walk in the gym like
just rock out. There's incredible workout with no shoes on
his feet. Like it was better for his feet to
work out without shoes.
Speaker 1 (07:46):
They say, you balance your body out if you you
walk around. Yeah, they say on barefoot.
Speaker 3 (07:51):
And he would. But he would he put throw chalk
on the ground and wipe and like step his foot
in it to make sure he got like good and
good uh some good trippitch like yeah right, you know,
dead lifts or squats or something barefoot and they just
get right back in the car and bounce. I was
jealous of no shoes. I'm like will he's living the life, man.
He's just like coming to work out, rocking it out,
(08:15):
getting his best workout impossible, and then going home.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
You know, speaking of your birthday round of golf and
Willie Cologne lifting bearfoot, you know, Ben Roethlisberger I remember
going golfing with Ben Roethlisberger, and he golfs bearfoot. He's
a barefoot golfer.
Speaker 3 (08:33):
I don't actually feel kind of nice. I have big feet.
I have size eighteen shoes. That's a big food. I
I been walking bear My feet hurt for my shoes.
Sometimes walking barefoot for a little bit definitely makes them
feel better. All right, what toe is it?
Speaker 1 (08:48):
Because my pinky toe is the reason why I hate
wearing shoes more often than not. It's the way the
pinky toe fits into the shoe. I really don't like
the way it feels. And sometimes my heel like the
way the shoe rubs on your the back of your
your heel, I don't I don't like it.
Speaker 3 (09:07):
What shoes do you typically wear? What brand? Uh? I'm
a Nike dude.
Speaker 1 (09:10):
I mean I was under armor for quite a time,
but you know the Nike, like all I wear is
Jordan's anymore. It's like the most comfortable ship I've worn.
Speaker 3 (09:18):
Okay, So Jordan's are that They're very comfortable. So I'm
glad you mentioned that, because that's that's certainly true. But buddy,
you gotta you gotta accept it and go new balance
they got, they got the wide shoes. Man, your your
your your your, your toe's unsolicited. I'm not sponsored by
New Balance, even those New Balances. Listening. Hey man, you
know where to find me, dude, New Balance the way
(09:38):
to go, buddy. They had they had got those wide shoes.
Have you ever tried the Hookahs? They don't make my
size that is again those I've heard those are really
good too, but you know my size, New Balance does,
and they have wider shoes just great for my feet.
Speaker 4 (09:55):
From my feet, a New Balance like the official dad shoe.
Speaker 3 (09:59):
Like well, the Air.
Speaker 1 (10:02):
Monarchs, that's right, yeah, the ones old spy spicy, Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (10:09):
He's funny, man. The Air Monarchs are the ones. And
there's the white New Balances. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (10:14):
Like the they're so big. What there's such a big
it's such a big bulky shoe.
Speaker 3 (10:22):
Yeah, man, but you have your your feet feel great
in him. I don't wear those. I mind a little
more fashionable. New Bounce has stepped their game up recently,
like with the when they added some some Kawhi. They
added Kawhi to the roster and they've been kind of
stepping up their game again to make their shoes look
a little more presentable. I do not wear like the
plane dad the white dad shoes. But yeah, those are
(10:43):
I saw a photo for Father's Day. It was like
air monarchs. But crocs, those are probably.
Speaker 1 (10:48):
I thought that's what Lee was going to jump in
and say, we'll get a pair of crocs. No, no crocs,
get a pair of crocs.
Speaker 4 (10:56):
Yeah, I've been converted this year, Jeff to Uh to crocs.
I was gifted. Never bought a pair of my own,
but uh.
Speaker 3 (11:03):
I'll never wear crocs in my life. Fox are very
big in the elementary school age and grew right now.
I've worn them.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
But I would never buy a pair of crocs, like
you never catch me dead, oh outfit, Like I'd never
be out casually with crocs. Like I came in there
here to work one time with crocs on. They were
my daughter's crocs. They were halfway on my foot when
I came in. I just used them to get into
the building. Basically, So you have an issue with the shoe,
(11:31):
thg man, Well I don't. I got a crazy shoe
game too. I just uh in the morning coming here,
there's like there's the idea of what's the best, what's
the most convenient, shoe to put on because nobody sees
you anyway. I mean, it's it's coop, you know, is
Lee is Eddie. Eddie doesn't see my feet. How many
(11:52):
times have you seen my feet, Eddie? Like, honestly, you
wouldn't even know I was barefoot if I didn't tell you, right.
Speaker 3 (11:58):
Uh, the only time I've seen your feet is when
you put I'm up on the.
Speaker 1 (12:02):
And okay, so how many days a week do you
see me when I'm in here? How many times do
I put my feet up with no shoes on?
Speaker 3 (12:08):
Maybe? Once? Once?
Speaker 1 (12:11):
I would say every time. Every time I put my
feet up, I have nothing on them.
Speaker 4 (12:16):
I was shocked to see you with sneakers yesterday. There
you go, and you're rocking the pjs today.
Speaker 3 (12:20):
There you go.
Speaker 4 (12:21):
Which I'm not mad at all.
Speaker 1 (12:22):
Right, So, so here's the thing though, when when I
come in and I had sneakers, like, were they on?
Speaker 4 (12:31):
I can't recall I saw walking out yesterday.
Speaker 1 (12:35):
Okay, I was leaving the show. But if you would
have saw me with my feet up during the show,
they're off. My shoes are off the entire show.
Speaker 3 (12:43):
Look, guys, I'm not wearing shoes either. There you go.
Thank you now, So just let's be fair. Okay, we're
all wearing shoes right now. Bam.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
If you're wearing shoes right now, I appreciate your your
your work because you're doing something where you're working, I
would assume unless you're having like tiny uh late night
games and you're keeping your shoes on wow while having
your moment, and you never wear socks, correct, And I
never wear socks, even with shoes, even with shoes, I
(13:11):
wear socks. Yeah, I never wear socks. That's that Caribbean
in me though. I just I don't wear socks.
Speaker 3 (13:17):
Your shoes are stinky.
Speaker 1 (13:19):
No, I don't wear them enough. I don't wear I
don't wear them. That my rotation is. I make sure
my rotation is strong, man. And if if for some reason,
I fall in love with a pair that I'm gonna
wear more than like one time consecutively, you know, I
got I got secrets as to how you desensitize your
your shoe, Like you take that that that sweaty foot
(13:40):
smell away and they still smell new. There's like little secrets,
little tricks to the trade man.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
You know. Man, I'm Buddy Irock. Either my sandals every
day or my new Balanced nine forty version fours. That's it.
I'm a simple guy. I'm not.
Speaker 1 (13:55):
I'm not on that shinning sharp level of shoe game.
But my shoe game is pretty strong.
Speaker 3 (14:01):
Man.
Speaker 1 (14:01):
I generally shouts out to my man Dustin, who keeps
keeps my He's my plug. It's like every shoe out
I see, like, oh, I don't know, I don't know.
It's a lot like I have. I have so many shoes.
I have shoes like I have over one hundred pair
of shoes and storage on the East Coast that I
never even brought here, Like I just I have shoes
(14:22):
for days.
Speaker 3 (14:24):
Yeah, yeah, that's not I have one pair of nice
Jordan's that Orton gave me Dan the Jordan Force that
organ came out with. Yeah, ten years ago or so.
They just don't really fit, that was it. Now they're
too narrow on my foot. Oh.
Speaker 1 (14:43):
I mean, as you get older, you do begin to
sacrifice the idea of looks versus comfort.
Speaker 3 (14:49):
I mean, I will say that.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
And speaking of looks and comfort, well, DeAndre Hopkins, he
may be a little bit uncomfortable, but will it lead
to him being comfortable? Packers expectations we'll get to all
those things and coming up on Two Pros and a
Cup of Joe. We're live from the tyrack dot Com Studios.
That's Jeff Schwartz. I'm LeVar Arrington. Yeah, we talked beer
(15:11):
feet in the first segment, but I just had to
get that off my chest. I've never done this before,
So now I'm sitting with my feet on disinfefectant wipes
for for a moment, just to kind of clean off
the nastiness of walking in from the parking lot. And
while you digest that, we're gonna take a quick break.
(15:31):
So it's two Pros, a couple of Joe's. Fox Sports
Radio will be right back.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio II.
Speaker 1 (15:49):
I reminisce I reminisce uh I reminisce I, reminisce I
remini this. Uh when they reminisce over you, my guys,
that's this is really there original though?
Speaker 3 (16:01):
What is this? Chris? What who does this?
Speaker 5 (16:04):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (16:04):
This would be uh liquid Crystal Project, Jay Rowls tribute
to Troy All nice.
Speaker 1 (16:09):
Oh so this is this is based off of Trouble
t Roy. Yeah, simple, yeah, okay, nice? Nice, All right,

went to break about DeAndre Hopkins and the idea possibly
taking less money.
Speaker 3 (16:49):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (16:49):
The Buffalo Bills have reportedly shown interest and and and
basically said they would love to have DeAndre Hopkins be
a part of the team. Now, the first thing that
I thought about immediately upon seeing this article was one,
you know, things still aren't at ease or at rest settled.
(17:12):
Put put the bed with UH, with Diggs, with Stephan Diggs,
and and so you start to think to yourself, well,
you got DeAndre Hopkins out there, you still got to pay.
Stephan Diggs is money and he's obviously, you know, going
to be a part of this season. But is this
(17:33):
kind of like like almost like a little slight dig
at at Stephan, like, man, get your you know, tighten up,
like get yourself together, because you could talk all this this,
you know whatever you're talking right now, and act the
way you want to act.
Speaker 3 (17:47):
But this show does keep going on, and if.
Speaker 1 (17:49):
We could get somebody like DeAndre Hopkins in here, like
you know, we mess around and keep moving and and
end up deactivating your your old musty, crusty, rusty don't
want to play ass you know. Now, I'm just saying
that might be how they think. But what I mean
is there Do you think that there's anything to that.
Speaker 3 (18:07):
No, I think that you when you have the ability
to add a player like Hopkins to your offense, you
do it. Okay. I don't think there's anything to do with
dig I mean maybe it does. Maybe there is something
to the idea that, hey, you know, things aren't going
as well with Diggs they have been in the past.
We need to, you know, have some some you know,
(18:29):
backup plan if Diggs is unhappy. But look, v I
don't have a problem with wide receivers that are that
they kind of it must sure Digs, it would be
considered a diva, but wide receivers that sort of that's
generally what we've labeled them.
Speaker 1 (18:44):
I mean, that's that is what I have said that
in shows and past like, that's that's what we generally
labeled receivers their divas.
Speaker 3 (18:51):
Right, But here's why I don't. It doesn't bother me
as much because their position much like corner who tends
to be a diva as well. If we you know,
there's a lone lonely lonely they're they're there. It's a
very individual, individual, individualistic position. Right, you're by yourself. You're
on an island. Now, of course you need the quarterback
(19:13):
to throw you the ball, but you're by yourself, like
you have to win your route one on one. It's
an offensive lineman. You know, I'm one of five, right,
I can't be good if if if not, everyone else
is good with me. Right, you know, your quarterback you
have to have your offensive line block for you, your
your your your wide receivers run the right routes. You're
tied end being the right place running back to his job.
(19:34):
So I understand wide receivers are very much selfish, self
sel selfish, Like I totally get it. So when it's
not surprising to me that a wide receiver digs, anyone
else feels us a way about not getting the ball,
about not you know, not being able to play well
and be in a big game, because again it's it's
not really up to him, it's up to the quarterback.
(19:54):
The quarterback's got to get the ball right. The quarterback
has to has to do the things necessary to make
sure he succeeds in a big game. And so I understand,
I'm totally understanding of the idea that he might feel
this way at any time about being a Buffalo, right,
but that doesn't change why you would get to other Hopkins.
You can never have players on a foot play. You
(20:19):
have good football players areas in any position. And the Bills,
their goal obviously is to win the AFC and be
in the Super Bowl. They've gone backwards by the way
years ago Anti Championship Game, and then it was a
division around loss to the Chiefs, that was a close
division around loss, and then eventually, obviously we saw what
happened last year. So adding a good player like Hopkins,
(20:39):
no matter of the situation, with any wide receiver, is
good for everyone. It's good for everybody, and I am
curious if they do this again. For Hopkins, we talked
about this. It disappointed his career. Are you chasing you know,
team glory, you're chasing the super Bowl? You're chasing money
because you have the money you've put He's played, like
(21:01):
I think, this is eleventh year of the NFL, spent
a lot of time in the NFL. You know, are
you gonna chase wins, chase team glory or chase money.
If you're chasing money, then you should I don't choose
the team to chase you the most money. If you
chasing the wins, Buffalo, Kansas City, there's a lot of
options if you want to uh to to to try
(21:22):
to win a super Bowl, because right now that's you
should be doing. In my opinion.
Speaker 1 (21:25):
Yeah, see, I tend to think that Buffalo making that
available to the media. I do think that it's direct
towards towards Diggs because I I, while I agree with
everything that you're saying, I still think that it's very
curious that the beef that we saw or the the
(21:47):
just uttered just discontent or upset feeling that we saw
Diggs have after the playoff game and the way he
stormed out, would would still be lingering all the way
till now and make its way again to the surface
where the media gets a hold of it and are
talking about it. I think that's just that's very that's
(22:11):
when have you ever heard of that?
Speaker 3 (22:13):
Okay? So what is he What was he upset about?
Speaker 1 (22:18):
In the All I'll say is, while I don't know
exactly why he you know, not from his mouth, the
words from his mouth, I can assume that in the
biggest game of the year, so he was targeted I
believe ten times and in that loss in their playoff game,
but he only had three catches. So not knowing what
(22:41):
all of those those ten targets look like or or
how he was being used in the passing game, I
would assume that there was a frustration in terms of
how the game was being called for and putting him
in position to have the proper success. Yeah, that's that's
what I mean. That's really to me, and the fact
(23:02):
that they lost. But you get over losses, right, So
I'm not sitting there thinking to myself, Stefan Diggs is
showing back up to the facility and he's still upset
and bothered by them. Losing that game. I mean, they're
probably all bothered by the fact that they lost the game.
But it's a new season, it's a new year.
Speaker 3 (23:20):
You move on.
Speaker 1 (23:21):
So for him to still be upset, to me, it
says to me, something needed to happen, like the play calling,
the play sheet, the way he's being used, something needed
to happen. He was upset, you know, this is the
way the game was called. Like whatever it may be,
I'm out of here. He gets back, and this is
(23:41):
just me putting like just just kind of deductive reasoning
or trying to put the pieces together. It's the same
exact coach, it's the same exact calls, it's the same
exact way of going about business. I felt like that's
why Josh Allen got involved and said to the media like,
I could have handled this better. I could have I
could have done more. To me, that says he could
(24:03):
do more to get the ball to steph on and
keeping him happy. That was how I interpreted what was
being said, because ultimately, if you played in this game,
and you played at a high level, even if you
played in college, you know that your top receivers are
always disgruntled after games because they didn't get enough balls.
(24:26):
They are always upset because they didn't get enough balls.
Always you get to the league, it's the same exact thing.
They're always upset that they didn't get enough balls. So
when you start to look at why a quarterback would
start to get involved and try to like kind of
put things together and make sense of it, that says
to me, he felt like he could have talked to Stephan,
(24:48):
he could have put Steph on and maybe got his
input a little bit more, whatever it may have been
that led to more success. I felt like that's what
he was trying to say. Not I needed to get
involved in between them arguing with one another and break
it up, and this that I didn't. I didn't feel
that was the scenario. I felt like, hell, like he
(25:09):
caught the ball three times. This is our best receiver,
you know.
Speaker 3 (25:14):
To me, it feels like there's something else happening here, right,
because that was a long time ago. Now that was January,
and if Diggs is still upset about that one game,
then something else happened, right, Whether it was a disagreement
with his quarterback, whether it was to your point you've
(25:34):
just mentioned, right, a disagreement with the play call or
not liking the plays that are being called, something else
happened to because look, we all have games that we
we didn't like that we were hit, right, we all
have games that just it goes well for us. But
in six months later, you're kind of over it, right,
You're kind of over LaVar, like it's time to move on.
Speaker 1 (25:53):
I'm over it after that week, like I'm gonna let
it drive me correct.
Speaker 3 (25:57):
I'm gonna let it, but I'm over it something. So
if he is still upset about about Buffalo, about his
season last year, something else happened.
Speaker 1 (26:06):
I just feel like there's if I'm going into a season, Jeff,
and everything is the same and nothing has changed. And
my last game was three catches and I got I
got targeted ten times. But I don't know, like he
knows exactly how those those targets felt and how they looked.
My whole thing is, if I gotta gear up to
(26:27):
have an entire season like this, if this is the
where you just sat there said it, I said it myself.
Speaker 3 (26:32):
They may hit their ceiling.
Speaker 1 (26:34):
They may have gotten to to the top of where
they're going to go, and and this might be it.
So if I'm going into the season, and I'm your
your marquee receiver, I'm your number one receiver, and this
is the way.
Speaker 3 (26:46):
I've been used.
Speaker 1 (26:47):
I gotta I gotta basically deal with going through an
entire season this way.
Speaker 3 (26:52):
I gotta.
Speaker 1 (26:52):
I gotta handle it weekend, week out. This is how
I'm going to be used. And to me, I think
that that's where the frustration and to build up for
Stefan Diggs maybe is that that's something is this hasn't changed,
Like y'all haven't changed anything, Like I'm.
Speaker 3 (27:10):
Upset y'all haven't changed it.
Speaker 1 (27:11):
Well, but here's the thing though, Look I'm trying to
like live through his you know.
Speaker 3 (27:18):
But but the thing is too what at some point
as a player, you have to accept your surroundings right
and you have to Ken Dorsey is not going anywhere
after like he's not. So be angry about the play caller,
the play calling that the time is done for that,
(27:39):
Like the time now is get ready for the season
and do the best you can to play your best
in this current season. And so being upset about what
happened last year, LaVar is not good for your health,
is not good for your team's health. It's not good
for you know, preparing for this upcoming season. Like, so
buddy it again, we're projecting a little bit here is
(28:01):
we don't want to, but like you gotta get over it. Man,
you eat over it. It's time. It's time to be
over it because you're nothing's going to change. Your your
OC is gonna be the same, your play cards, you know,
your your your your your wide receiver, coach, your quarterback.
So if he's still upset about the situation of Buffalo,
(28:22):
either you accept it and you're able to play your
best ball this season how your team win, or you
you ask for a trader and trade you. But you
can ask for a trade all you want. But to me,
Hopkins addition to Hopkins is more about just strengthening your
room than it is, you know, trying to to basically Ouse.
Speaker 1 (28:40):
It's about ousting him though I don't think it's about Ouse.
Don't think I think it's more so about like just
to subtle, keep keep things in perspective, my guy, we're
paying you for for you and this this train will
continue to run stop after stop. We will continue to Yeah,
it's just to go.
Speaker 3 (29:00):
And they're different and too, it's worth one like they're
different players, right, Higgs obviously is a is a speed shirt,
takes a top off. You know. Hopkins is a player that's.
Speaker 1 (29:10):
He runs his routes, got strong hands, he'll he'll get
to hell get the fifty to fifty ball. He is
a different type of player, but nonetheless he has been
considered a one for pretty much his entire career. Stefan
Diggs is a one pretty much his entire career. Right,
So if you're talking about two ones, that's two super predators,
really if you're really thinking about it. So if I'm
(29:32):
trying to bring in historically this is a one, Wow,
I'm I'm also looking on the other side of this,
and there's the drama playing out between your current one.
I just I just I don't know if it was
because of just continuing to hear that there's drama still
(29:52):
with steph on Diggs. Still, I mean, that's that's that's
I mean, that's extraordinarily long for you to have hard
feelings towards something that we saw take place during the playoffs.
So there has to be an issue there, Like you said,
there has to be something there, something more or whatever
it may be. You know, keep in mind he had
(30:15):
I mean his his numbers are relatively the same. If anything,
I think he did actually a little bit. He had
more targets or more catches, whatever it was this past season.
But for some strange reason, I don't think that they
felt like their offense was as productive as it was
since losing their first offensive coordinator.
Speaker 3 (30:32):
Yeah, losing day Ball. It certainly was not the same
level of execution last season that it was the previous year,
especially if season got longer. When they were you know,
the more time they had without Brian Dabble, you saw
Josh Allen return a little bit to that yolo football
that you know, it's not always what he has done
best in his career, but in the red zone struggle
(30:54):
as well, which I think is another kind of symptom
of not having the offense coordinator that did so well.
Then Daple did excellent with Jones, right, So there definitely
was something towards missing him, And I'm actually, this is
what I'm curious about this year heading into this year,
is like, look what adjustments are made offensively? And you
could be right, LeVar, this is uh Stefon Diggs lashing
(31:14):
out about the offense coordinator and not and not really
interesting it is. And I think also to look the Bills,
as we mentioned, have gone backwards, right they were, they
were in the empty change of game three three three
seasons ago against the Chiefs. They lost that game. The
next year they lost on the road in the Division around.
(31:35):
Obviously we know the famous game where the Chiefs came
back in one and overtime. And then last year they
got blown up by the Bengals at home, by the way,
at home got blown up by the Bengals in the
Division around in the snow, a game that you would
expect yourself to win at home. It's while you work
all season to host that game. So there could be
some animosity still with with with with that, with that,
(31:56):
and I get, I get if you're a player, those
things can bother you. However, it's the season starts in
you know, you go to camp and what's today July twelfth,
two weeks everyone reports in two weeks. You have to
eat over it. You have to find a way to
move past because you're gonna have a It's football is
very difficult, you know, and it's even worse when you
when you don't like being there. Right, if you're a player,
(32:20):
you got to commit yourself that you're there for the
right reasons. You're there to help your team win, because again,
if not, man, it's it's it's bad mentally in a
bad place. When the season starts, it doesn't go well.
So I hope for his sake that this is really nothing.
And you know, they're just adding Hopkins because it's a
smart play, because he's a good he's good football player.
Speaker 1 (32:39):
It'll be interesting to see how he reacts if Hopkins
did decide to go to the Bills and see what
their success level would be and how they're being used
once once the season starts with the DeAndre Hopkins and
seemingly will unsettle Stephan Diggs. We'll get back to that
at some point, but we want to take a quick break.
We'll be back, and you know we're gonna put you

Is it hard to diet at your age.
Speaker 2 (34:41):
Uh SEEZ be honest, this is you.
Speaker 3 (34:44):
I'll be real.
Speaker 5 (34:45):
There are times when I will say that, man, that's hard.
Speaker 3 (34:48):
It's hard.
Speaker 5 (34:49):
Man, like twenty twenty two, got a lot of money,
all them.
Speaker 3 (34:54):
It feels like all the money in the world.
Speaker 2 (34:55):
Man, it is hard.
Speaker 3 (34:57):
But I'm at that.
Speaker 5 (34:58):
Point now where because of certain things putting back, like
the wisdom around me much of like I want to
say older because they and I'm just putting people around me, wisdom,
put me on games, certain things and just.
Speaker 3 (35:12):
Go from there.
Speaker 2 (35:12):
There.
Speaker 1 (35:13):
That's I mean, that's as real as it gets, if
you ask me. I struggled with Waight early on in
my career, saying like as soon as I got soon
as I got money, and it's weird because I was
a fast food guy. I wasn't even like I was
going to like really really nice restaurants and just eating
too much. I was getting Popeyes chicken and fish filet
(35:35):
sandwiches like on on the regular.
Speaker 3 (35:39):
Wrong, nothing wrong with those selections. He can tell you
about Popeyes. So when I I'm fat, I love food. Okay,
that's not care. It's good for you. But again, like
when you get the money, like you start hiring people
to help you be skinnier, Like that's your job down right,
Your party is your job. You need to hire people
to help you out. So I in Los Angeles and
(36:02):
family is not a big fried food family, right, So
I thought, like KFC, which was near the house, There
was no Popeyes in Los Angeles. There might be now
I don't know, but there wasn't when I was a kid.
Now you know, no churches obviously in Los Angeles. I
thought KFC was like Fried Chicken. And then I went
(36:22):
to the South where I live now, and I realized that, yeah,
Popeyes thousand times better, churches thousand times better. There's a
place here that we that we had that was a
one hundred year own family restaurant. That was that did
Fried Chicken. I missed out as a youth because all
I thought Fried Chicken was was that big bucket of KFC,
which is like not even remotely closed anything you can
(36:45):
get at Popeyes. I love Pope's Place.
Speaker 1 (36:47):
Though KFC holds its place, It does hold its place,
but it isn't like I don't know that like Krispy KFC.
Speaker 3 (36:57):
Like look see look the fat boy.
Speaker 1 (36:59):
We are in an and I have lost weight so
I can't use fat boy talk.
Speaker 3 (37:03):
Anymore like you're always I'm getting drunk. This is like
it's on the inside your soul. Yes, okay, see this is.
Speaker 1 (37:11):
Why man, I bang which you're tough right here, man,
because you are so right. The inner fat boy and
me wants to come out right now and say it's crispy, spicy,
KFC chicken, the special recipe whatever.
Speaker 3 (37:24):
And I had a little bit of pepper, and then
you can see it on the on the batter.
Speaker 1 (37:29):
That has always held a special place in my heart
and and in my memory.
Speaker 3 (37:33):
And I just want make sure people knew that look
once once a fat souls you're you're always with Jonas
and Brady. They don't understand these things. I understand you.
Speaker 2 (37:44):
I get it.
Speaker 3 (37:45):
I am and that person at all times. I have
to be like, you know what, like you know what,
only a half slice of cake last night, not a
full slice of cake. You're so right.
Speaker 1 (37:54):
I had I had a chocolate chip cookie as a
snack last night. You know, I just I got to
feed the bee every once in a while to keep
them down in.
Speaker 3 (38:02):
There, you know what I mean? Yeah, exactly, I'm with you,
But this is a real thing.
Speaker 1 (38:05):
This is a real thing, like every once in a while,
like I'm not like, I don't know, Like historically, I
have cravings, you know, I have cravings, like whether it
be ice cream, whether it be like a pastry of
some sort. Like, I have cravings, and that's what really
gets me, you know. But I also love French fries.
(38:25):
I put French fries on everything, all my sandwiches, on
my salad.
Speaker 3 (38:30):
If you don't like French fries, you have a problem.
You have a problem. We can't we cannot be friends.
You are not good for my my. If you don't
like French fries, you're not good for my health. Favorite
favorite fast food French fry. Oh I oh, I don't know.
I like rallys. I like rallys, I like theirs. I
(38:53):
am a I am a fan of just a play
straight McDonald's French fry or Jack in the Box Curly fry. Guys.
Speaker 1 (39:01):
I could go for Chick fil a fries, the waffle waffles,
the waffles my daughter chi five guys. Anyways, our two's
coming up next. I'm gonna go take a back peal.
Speaker 2 (39:13):
