What is today? The return of the BQ News. No, No,
that would have been nice.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
Do you know how many days there are until the
NFL NFL season kicks off?

Speaker 1 (01:44):
Fifty three?

Speaker 3 (01:45):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (01:46):
Close, close, fifty two and a half.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Under under that fifty forty fifty that's right, it's fifty
days starts season. Should we start off? I play a
little bit of trivia too, ye?

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Do we have any game show music here?

Speaker 4 (02:06):
Iowa, Sam, come on afro baby.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Oh that's a good one, right there, Sam.

Speaker 4 (02:15):
Okay, alright, alright, alright to see Sam Simmy going on
right now?

Speaker 3 (02:21):
All right, okay, Chiefs are the Super Bowl famous and there,
and they're trying to become the first repeat super Bowl
champs since. What team the New England Patriots that is
right at the next one, the next one, the next one?

Speaker 4 (02:40):
All right, the Cleveland Browns. Sorry, Ben addressed, Jonas?

Speaker 3 (02:45):
All right, Kansas City is looking to become the third
team ever to reach four Super Bowls in a five
year span. Can you guys name the other two teams?

Speaker 4 (02:59):
Come on, Jonah, four super Bowls in a five years?
No England Patriots again and the Buffalo Bills.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
Look at my man. Levar's on fire. He is on fire.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
Come on, Jonas, your speed Upah, speed up? You do
have any more? Brady, please give it to me Johnson on.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
Okay, it's kind of interesting. Over the past three seasons,
all right, this team has led the NFL outright in
scoring defense and scoring offense without a title to show
for it. What team is this.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
That's the good one right there? The Buffalo Bills.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
That you guys are on fire? Okay, final one, final
one for a little trivia with fifty days till they
start of the NFL season, The last seventeen quarterbacks to
lose their Super Bowl debut have not made it back
to the Super Bowl. Dang, we know the most recent. Okay,

(04:15):
but can you name any of the other sixteen quarterbacks
who are part of that who.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Made it to their first Super Bowl and didn't make
it to another?

Speaker 3 (04:25):
Correct?

Speaker 1 (04:26):
I mean, let's start yet, Dan Marino, that works, Rex Grossman.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
Dan Marino is actually not a part of this list
last seventeen. There's actually been there's actually been more that
have happened of late, if you will, But Marino would
have what would accounted you?

Speaker 1 (04:45):
Okay, all right, Rex Grossman.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
Rex Grossman's on the list.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
Chris Chandler.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
Chris Chandler is on that list. Rich rich Gannon is
also on that list.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
Okay. Neil O'Donnell.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
Neil O'Donnell is also on that list. By the way, Hey,
by the way, it's actually when you look through it,
it's it's actually kind of like, oh, there's no I'm
saying there's a lot of guys who like kind of late. Uh.
Trent Dilfer is not.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
Well because he won. He wouldn't qualify because he won
that Super.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
Bowl is tearing up the nineties, by the way, which.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
Is Jimmy Garoppolo.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
Jimmy Garoppolo's on the list. Can you think of one
even more recent than that? Hurts well, it hurts, Yes,
he's the most recent. But maybe someone else to is
Joe Burrow. Joe Burrow.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
That's right, well, I mean that remains to be seen.
Hasn't been back, but very optimistic on those since Cincinnati Bengals.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
All right, I'll throw some other names that you guys.
Jared Goff, Matt Ryan, cam Newton, Colin Kaepernick, Matt Hasselback,
Dona Jake, the Looney Carry, Colinst McNair, wow, Drew Bledsoe's
in that mix. And lastly he rounds it out. Jalen
Hurts actually makes it eighteen if you can't make it back.

(06:12):
But Stan Humphries in nineteen, oh yeah, Stan Humphreys.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
The Superchargers, remember that team, I think Eric they had
to beat Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh. They beat Pittsburgh. I still remember that.
It was in three Rivers Stadium. There was a throw
to the end zone and it was batted down by
a linebacker for the Chargers who I can't remember his name,
but I still remember that game because my nephew is
a diehard Steeler fan and he burst into tears and

(06:39):
that can help. But laugh, I couldn't outfan that was alone.
The Bears already eliminated. What do I care?

Speaker 4 (06:47):
So are you trying to tell me a lot of
people were emotional that guy?

Speaker 1 (06:51):
I understand that.

Speaker 3 (06:52):
Brady.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
You try to tell me that things aren't optimistic for
Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles they enter the well.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
I was wondering where we were getting at on this. Yeah,
I'm not saying that things aren't optimistic. They have a
great roster. Jalen Hurts has continually gotten better. However, however,
history stands against them at lease in the short term.
It is hard to get back after getting to a
super Bowl and losing. That is just seventeen examples. Yet,

(07:21):
as you guys have pointed out, some of those guys
are still playing. So we'll see between Jimmy Garoppolo, Joe Burrow,
Jalen Hurts. But there's also a fair of Jared Goff's
part of that list. But there's a fair amount who aren't.

Speaker 4 (07:33):
And that was it, you know, I think there's some
Obviously there's real validity to the idea of having that
that opportunity and that opportunity fleeing. I mean, you think
about it, think about a guy like the quarterback in

(07:54):
in Buffalo. Why is he slipping my name right, Josh Allen?
I mean, did he get it close to a Super
Bowl as he's going to get and he didn't even
play in one, you know. So it's kind of like
I would say the NFC is favorable for for Jalen
Hurts just by process of elimination and how amazingly talented

(08:20):
their their roster is. I mean, it's it's it's almost
scary looking at how good that team is on paper,
and and that would be my reasoning. I don't know
that there's going to be very much resistance against the
Eagles in the NFC. Now, can they win it in

(08:41):
the Super Bowl? I mean maybe that that has yet
that remains to be seen. There could be a team
that is a dark horse that that kind of finds
its way to the top, that that generally always happens.
But I would say that right now, the odds are
favorable for Aen Hurts to continue to have thriving seasons.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
So, as Brady mentioned, it's been twenty years since we've
had a repeat champion, and so Kansas City and the run,
the Patrick Mahomes and them Ron is incredible. Like his
start to his NFL career as a starter is as
impressive as any that we've ever seen, maybe in sports,
not just the NFL, but maybe in sports. When you
consider they're you know, sixty four and eighteen as a team,

(09:27):
and he's obviously missed a couple of those games because
of injury, but sixty four and eighteen as a team.
Since he took over a starter, they've been to the
to the three Super Bowls, they've won two of them.
So when they get eliminated in the playoffs, it's either
in the AFC Championship game in overtime or it's in
a Super Bowl. Like all they know is AFC title
games and beyond. But if the odds are stacked against

(09:50):
them to be a repeat champion and it's been twenty years,
if not them, who Cincinnati? You think so? Because I
would say Cincinnati and probably philadelph Yeah, would be the
two that I would go with.

Speaker 4 (10:01):
Yes, Cincinnati. I mean, if I'm saying out out of
the a f C, like, if they're not winning it.
They're not making it to Natty Cincinnati. I would have
never thought i'd be here Cincinnati. I never thought i'd
be here, man, But that'd be like saying Cleveland, honestly,
Like damn.

Speaker 3 (10:19):
I mean, I'm just saying he's got a talented roster
they've had, They've had a talented roster.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
Yeah, but it feels different this year, most relaxed quarterback
in the league to Cleveland has oh jeez, just saying is.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
He not wrong? Wrong?

Speaker 1 (10:34):
Is he not tal Watson? Tal Watson? That is a
that is a not free quarterback. Zero knots, no tightness,
no nothing, all that, all kinds of knots.

Speaker 3 (10:48):
Knots or nuts not anyway, back on.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
Track, stretch him out, make sure it's nice and supple.

Speaker 3 (11:05):
That was what. I don't even know if we have
sound for this, But did you guys see the clip
of Patrick Mahomes talking to Jalen Hurts before the Super
Bowl last year?

Speaker 1 (11:13):
Yeah? It now the sound is a little bit choppy.
Lee is it Air Bowl? Do you think? Or yeah,
we'll go with it all right. This is from the
Netflix show Quarterback, which is getting rave reviews as opposed
to Hard Knocks. Uh So, here we go. This is
Patrick Mahomes talking with Jalen Hurts and already making plans
and preparing to be appearing in the Super Bowl.

Speaker 2 (11:33):
But I got a CREB like six minutes from our hotel,
so my fans will stay there. No, just like AIRBM.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
Beat it three months ago.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
I'm like, I'm less up on the price.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
So three months in advance.

Speaker 3 (11:45):
Could you imagine Jalen Hurts, This dude's telling you three
months ago into the season he always just rented a
place prepared to play in the Super Bowl. And mind you,
he's got to go through the AFC, Like it's not
I mean, this is no disrespect to the Eagles and
the path that went through in the NFC, but it's easier.
It's not as good teams in the NFC. And this

(12:07):
dude has already booked out his family's home for the
Super Bowl. Like I think, I think it's hilarious, but
it also is one of those like this dude's on
a different level. It's Alex he's on a different level.
Flex Like, that's their expectation, by the way, that's always known.
I mean, if they don't make it to a super Bowl,
he's lost in a Super Bowl and he's lost in
overtime of an AFC title game, Right, that's crazy.

Speaker 1 (12:31):
And there's nobody on that level in the NFL or
anywhere close.

Speaker 3 (12:37):
Like, I mean, he's won two m vps in that time.

Speaker 4 (12:39):
Yeah, I mean, is it I went against him last
this past season. I won't do that this year. I mean,
is it a foregone conclusion that we should be looking
at it as KFC and everybody else? He had the
city fried Chicken?

Speaker 3 (13:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (13:00):
I thought it was Kansas something else city in between.

Speaker 3 (13:04):
Yeah, that's also good.

Speaker 4 (13:06):
The day, by the way, I just I just reworked
the initials the act one.

Speaker 3 (13:11):
Someone made a comment about Peter Peter sad Out a
tweet like, remember when you eat chicken, you're taking away
one of the family members. As someone replied back, that's
why I get the whole bucket.

Speaker 1 (13:27):
That's why I get the whole bucket of can just
take out the family?

Speaker 3 (13:32):
Was like, that's kind of good.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
That's a good as well play. Would you take, okay,
Kansas City or the field.

Speaker 4 (13:39):
I'm taking Kansas City, man, Kansas City, Damn Kansas City.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
Because I'm torn between the dominance of Kansas City and history.
Because that's twenty years of evidence that we've seen. It's
really difficult to repeat. But when have you seen a
quarterback like this?

Speaker 3 (13:56):
And by the way, this is the best offensive line
Patrick Holmes has had in his career. In Casey, they
got Orlando Brown. They were pretty solid last year, but
they're only better now. I mean they should be and
they've only continued to build on this roster. They should
be even better than what they were last year.

Speaker 1 (14:18):
But they also they lost Orlando Brown to Cincinnati. That's yeah, Cincinnati.

Speaker 3 (14:24):
That was the guy they brought up, John Taylor, John Taylor, sorry,
other tackle. You know. They brought in Smith to Donovan
Smith Smith and then and they've been drafted behind them. Yeah,
they got Janya Morris in the in the third round,
get out of Oklahoma's a good player. So like they
have depth. Finally, they have starters who are as good

(14:47):
as they've been. Rashid rice Kid they took the second
round out of s m U. He's a he's a
he's a burner. He kind of fits right within their
like scheme and fit for what they like to do.
Have just a bunch of guys who are all extremely capable,
Like I kind of look at them, and I just
go like, yeah, they're there are again. They draft well,

(15:08):
they develop well, They've got the best quarterback in the league.
I'm sure they're plus money to make it. Why wouldn't
you take them?

Speaker 1 (15:17):
Yeah, I mean it's as it stands right now, they're
six to one. You know, in most places you look.
So if you're if you're looking to bet on the
Kansas City Chiefs, lay down one hundred bucks or my case,
lay down ten bucks, you'll win sixty. Like that's where
the Kansas City Chiefs are as far as winning a
Super Bowl.

Speaker 3 (15:33):
I mean, I'm not even gonna say it. What stands
in their way? But there's only one thing. There's only
one thing that stands in their ways. I'm gonna say it.
I'm not going to do it.

Speaker 1 (15:40):
Nope, Joe Burrow.

Speaker 3 (15:42):
No, that's not a person. Oh it's it's it's the Boogeyman.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
Oh but the Oh yeah, he's been banged up a
little bit.

Speaker 3 (15:52):
Yeah, that's the only thing. I mean, seriously, like, if
they're healthy, why would you think anyone can really beat them?
I mean, even as good as Cincinnati has been against them,
you still give Kansas City the edge? Would you not
yes today, because I also think the AFC West. I mean, look,
the Broncos have to have to prove themselves with Sean Payton.

(16:13):
The Chargers have been competitive, They've never taken that next step.
I don't think the Raiders are going to be, you know,
competing with the Chiefs.

Speaker 1 (16:19):
They could be awful the duly really And.

Speaker 3 (16:22):
So then you look at the AFC North. You got
Baltimore now with Lamar who's got his contract, is happy
they drafted A Flowers. He's an added weapon to go
along with Odell. The Browns. I mean, now you've got
Watson in the second year of a of the offense,
and all reports right now, all reports are like they're
gonna be much improved. And you'd think that Pittsburgh is

(16:44):
still gonna be Pittsburgh because Mike Tomlins one of the
best coaches in NFL history. I just think it's like
a harder path for Cincinnati to be even able to
get that number one seed. So then you know that
everything's gonna go and flow through Kansas City once again.
Even for the Bills. The AFC East has gotten tougher.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
And I wonder if that was part of the thinking
why they scheduled k C Cincinnati so late in the
year on New Year's Eve, because they were like, listen,
this could probably determine home field advantage in the AFC,
like this, and you know, you put it all on
the line that late in the season. At least we're good.
I just hope Burrow's healthy. I hope Patrick Mahomes is
healthy and we get that rematch, and I hope we
get that match up every single year for the next decade.

(17:23):
I think that's the best in football. I'm not mad
at it. Yeah, it's fun.

Speaker 3 (17:26):
I'd thought that the Bills and versus either one of
those teams like that is that is such a fun
I mean, the AFC is such a fun time right
now for quarterbacks.

Speaker 4 (17:35):
I'd be happy if the Bills come into the season
and are good. Yeah, I'd be happy if I saw that,
because I'm not I'm not certain.

Speaker 1 (17:44):
I'm not certain.

Speaker 4 (17:45):
I just I just feel like there's something that isn't
right there, and and Stefan Diggs has made it apparently
clear that something isn't all the way right there.

Speaker 1 (17:54):
Yeah, I don't know. It's two pros and a cup
of Joe here on Fox Sports Radio. He's lebar Arrington.
That guy's Brady. I'm Jonas Knox. You can again listen
to us as always on the iHeartRadio app. So we
are gonna have the usuals coming up later on, We've
got another edition of In case you missed it. We've
also got our midweek Awards Standout. The old p Petros
Papadakas is gonna stop by. Maybe maybe not, Maybe we'll
get the return of the BQ News. Who knows. You

(18:16):
got to stick around to find out. But coming up next,
we do have ourselves a plan. Somebody's got a plan
apparently to fix a major issue in the NFL, and
we'll tell you what that is right here on FSR.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 4 (18:44):
Sam Come on, Sam, Do with Sam Afro Man Do
with Sam's can Boogie.

Speaker 1 (18:52):
That's that crop circle shuffle. Come on, Ia, Sam, I.

Speaker 3 (18:59):
Was Sam how doing this morning? Brother? I'm with it.

Speaker 1 (19:07):
I'm hip to it.

Speaker 3 (19:07):
You're hip to it.

Speaker 4 (19:08):
Yeah, You're you're feeling funky, and your could be the
time of day, could just be feeling funky.

Speaker 3 (19:15):
Hey, can I tell you something. I had a dream
last night. Oh, the Iowa Hawk guys were like a
ten win football team.

Speaker 5 (19:22):
Oh, it's going to be a dreams become reality, my friend.

Speaker 1 (19:25):
Hey, you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (19:26):
They've got one of the easiest schedules.

Speaker 5 (19:28):
And oh they also have a quarterback and a great defense.

Speaker 3 (19:30):
Huh, Well, they've got a great defense. They do have
a quarterbackers experience.

Speaker 5 (19:34):
Yes, with much better players.

Speaker 3 (19:37):
Well the what well where.

Speaker 1 (19:39):
He came from?

Speaker 5 (19:41):
Came from Michigan, right, I think they have better offensive players.
I had a dream, No, Michigan did.

Speaker 3 (19:48):
Okay that I delivered a pass.

Speaker 4 (19:50):
It's a teeter and you, Billy Bob, Billy Bob, you
threw the best block that anyone could ever have thrown
for me. And I'd just like to tell you I
like that. I appreciate it, and that was a good dream.

Speaker 3 (20:03):
Just somebody's got to block somebody.

Speaker 1 (20:04):
Hey, is Iowa plan on scoring double digit points at
any time this year?

Speaker 3 (20:08):
And this year they will? Okay, they've actually had a
good backfield. Well, their line should be better than jailed
now they better bet.

Speaker 4 (20:16):
Iowa's brand of football is actually seemingly like watching it
when I've watched them play is actually they're they're I mean,
I know they don't score a lot of points, but
they're they're good.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
Their offensive coordinator called control. Their offensive coordinator is the
son of the head coach, and he has a stipulation
in his contract that if he doesn't improve the offense,
he's not going to get paid his full deal.

Speaker 3 (20:42):
And you know what's really misleading about that, and he's
going to live up to that is they actually improved
as the season went on last year. Like it wasn't
It wasn't like quite that bad the entire time, like
we kind of watched them early on. No, I'm just saying, like.

Speaker 5 (20:59):
The average seven Tina game and take us a defensive touchdowns,
it's more like fifteen.

Speaker 3 (21:03):
Seventeen point seven their defense. If you want to be
exact year samum up on the stats. I can look
at the college football stats.

Speaker 5 (21:09):
Start, So take out those defensive touchdowns in tops.

Speaker 3 (21:15):
Ohio State that was like a big momentum shifter. But
I'm saying early in the season that was like the
whole knock they got after they lost to Ohio State,
though they kind of picked it up a little bit defensively.
You was three straight weeks of scoring over twenty four
more points. Oh my goodness, that's a lot for Iowa.
I should know.

Speaker 1 (21:32):
Fireworks. Wow. Okay, So why is Sam the most negative
person about Iowa?

Speaker 3 (21:37):
You know what it is? That's Iowa football fans. Yeah,
they're so pessimistic, but then for some reason they have
high expectations, like, well, we should have win these games
a year. I'm like, wait a second, the.

Speaker 4 (21:49):
Most pessimistic optimistic people, It doesn't make any sense.

Speaker 5 (21:54):
Eight wins the hard way?

Speaker 3 (21:55):
Yeah, how many wins they get last year?

Speaker 5 (21:58):
Eight wins?

Speaker 4 (21:58):
Hey, you know, who's the most important player on their offense?
Then they're running back and then they're punter.

Speaker 1 (22:07):
Sean Green still there, No, I wish no, I mean
think about that. They run that football.

Speaker 5 (22:13):
I feel guilty. You guys have been talking Iowa football
for more than ninety seconds.

Speaker 3 (22:16):
That's true. Caleb Johnson's the kid who's had a really
good freshman run. He should he should be sold.

Speaker 1 (22:21):
So Iowa opens up the season with Utah State. That's right, Yeah,
it's at it's at the Silo Dome.

Speaker 3 (22:27):
I have a kid that plays at Utah. Guys, bet
the under.

Speaker 1 (22:31):
I'm going to say, do you know what the total
is on that game?

Speaker 3 (22:33):
Thirty four? No?

Speaker 1 (22:35):
Actually no? All right, do you want to try?

Speaker 3 (22:37):
No?

Speaker 1 (22:38):
Twenty one forty three and a half.

Speaker 3 (22:40):
Oh, that's probably because of Utah State. They're expecting I
Wow to score more.

Speaker 1 (22:44):
But right they're gonna they're gonna empty everything. They got
every trick play in the book. They're gonna try and
chill everybody. This is what we're working with this year,
and then it's just going to be all downhill from there.
So but Sam will be alone.

Speaker 3 (22:56):
Do what you want to do. They play that offense,
allows gelling together. They played kind of a conservative.

Speaker 1 (23:02):
You did the same thing Iowa.

Speaker 4 (23:05):
It's like you want to go in and say what
you want to say, but then you rethink it and
it's like, I don't want it to come out that way,
but I do want to give them their props.

Speaker 3 (23:15):
Is I like Iowa's team.

Speaker 1 (23:17):
I like them. I like them this year. I just
there's just that that.

Speaker 5 (23:23):
Game in Happy Valley, big game, like game CBS.

Speaker 3 (23:26):
That's the white out. That's the one baby. I think
it's actually NBC, isn't it is?

Speaker 4 (23:32):
It NBC.

Speaker 3 (23:33):
Probably that would be so Iowa Sam to make a
big proclamation like that that turns out to be an
as well.

Speaker 1 (23:39):
Just put it on telemoondo, you know you, says CBS.

Speaker 3 (23:44):
But I thought NBC has the primetime games for those.

Speaker 1 (23:47):
Well, NBC has the Penn State Michigan State game that
got moved to Ford Field. There was that one, and
then I don't remember Iowa.

Speaker 3 (23:57):
Penn State is for sure the white out though, so
maybe this.

Speaker 5 (24:00):
Yes, maybe, Well Big ten football has not been on
CBS in a long time.

Speaker 1 (24:03):
That's why I think it stood out to me. That's true.

Speaker 3 (24:12):
I mean.

Speaker 1 (24:14):
Fox me personally a big fan of Big newon Kickoff
what they do on me too, you know, growing up
and people are different. CBS is SEC right, yeah?

Speaker 3 (24:26):
The final year?

Speaker 4 (24:27):
Yeah, yeah, Cause I mean that song that used to
come on, Like I'm telling you, when I was growing up,
I was like, one day I'm going to be on
TV and that song is going to be playing and
they're going to show like they'd always play that song
coming in and going out, and they would show the
best players and I was like that that that Like I.

Speaker 1 (24:48):
Would go work out, like I'd be watching football. I
go work out.

Speaker 3 (24:52):
Instrumental version of CBS's College Football.

Speaker 4 (24:55):
I wasn't listening to it when I worked out. It
would get me so amped up to like want to
do it that I go where I get up and
leave watching football and go work out. I would believe
that was like the rocky soundtrack. Man, bro, you know
the song I'm talking about?

Speaker 3 (25:11):
Right? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (25:12):
No, no, no, yes, hey man, hey man, this one
right here? Still make the hairs on my next stand up.

Speaker 3 (25:23):
Man, here's the thing, LeVar, it's now big ten. That's
what that music. That's what you'll hear from CD.

Speaker 4 (25:28):
Hey man, Now Brady steps away?

Speaker 1 (25:35):
What an.

Speaker 3 (25:39):
Ass? Sam? Sam's elite is elite, you know.

Speaker 1 (25:44):
But here's the thing about this song. If I was
ever working out and they played this song, I would
leave and find a gym that played Big newon Kickoffs song.
But again again doesn't have that music though, Yeah, of
course he does. Why would he have Big newon kickoff music?

Speaker 3 (25:57):
You know he's got a competitor. We had the competitor
in America. Yeah, what.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
I mean, we did have a great time with a face.

Speaker 4 (26:14):
You guys don't have as good a time as I did.
I time I got, I got ripped after I left job. Man,
it was LeVar Allen's all overplay, including on my lap
that day.

Speaker 1 (26:27):
I spilled.

Speaker 4 (26:28):
I spilled the Long Island on my lap. Didn't even care,
just got up started dancing.

Speaker 1 (26:33):
It was good.

Speaker 4 (26:34):
Damn damn went in there, gay the whole gate, a
whole hundred thousand A wee are before I left loose.

Speaker 1 (26:43):
Yeah, yeah, come on. I was fried. I was fed.
They were like.

Speaker 4 (26:52):
I was like, all right, we're gonna win this one
like we were. We were handling Ohio State handling them.
I was like, all right, let me go back to
my tail gate. I'm at my tail game. I'm like, oh,
I start hearing people. Oh goddamn, Like what what happened?
Like they're coming back.

Speaker 3 (27:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (27:12):
I was like, Mama, no, do you have two touchdowns?
Had a strip.

Speaker 3 (27:19):
Destroying us? Yeah. It was just it was literally like
in one game what most people hope to have their career.
She's a college football player.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
Thanks.

Speaker 3 (27:30):
He just had to show out that.

Speaker 1 (27:31):
He just happened to show up and show out. So
there you go.

Speaker 4 (27:35):
My son plays in Beaver Stadium this year for for
the Blue Hens. I'm so pumped up for this. Man,
you gonna be there.

Speaker 1 (27:44):
I'm going I don't know about wire to wire.

Speaker 4 (27:47):
I told him, man, I said, listen man, Nick Singleton
and k tron Isllen. I'm just telling you right now, bro, like,
don't be having if they put track track, tire traad
some time, iraq tack, tired, tread on your chest and
on your head and on your jersey, I'm walking out,
Like I'm just letting you know. I'm walking out. I'm

(28:09):
not staying. I'm going to go on their sideline and
in my home. And I'm telling you if they run
up your run up and down your chest, I'm walking out.

Speaker 1 (28:20):
You know how nervous he's gonna be for that game.

Speaker 3 (28:22):
I mean that's I mean, I'll be psyched.

Speaker 4 (28:25):
First off, he's a basketball player. Historically, he's never played football.
He switched sports. He switched sports two years ago, supposed
to be switching sports. Are you taking a shot of
basketball a basketball player? Well, he's a basketball player. I
mean that's what he was. He's like the most winning,
best basketball player in western Pennsylvania history.

Speaker 1 (28:44):
You know they're getting technicals now if they flop, is
that right? Game is changing? Well, he's not a flopper.
He's a thumper, and and and so he switched. He
went to Lakawana for two years, made it in the
trenches and Lackajuana shots out of the that's the trenches.

Speaker 4 (28:57):
Yeah, if you can. Whoa you know? Te uh dang?
Why am i uh jake what? He just got alone? No,
he just got drafted by the forty nine ers, O
our safety. Why am I blanking on his name?

Speaker 3 (29:12):
No?

Speaker 4 (29:12):
Not not brisker tea teak, we call it. I'm used
to calling him tigue. But anyway, uh, anyway, he came
from Lackawana. A lot of players came from Brian McKinney
came from law program. Yeah, I mean they be putting
them out, coach, Duda shots out coach. But he's never
played like, there's nothing he's ever done Brown, Jay, there

(29:34):
you go, Jay here. He's never played in front of
like eight thousand people. He's never been like, not basketball,
not not anything. He's never played in front of more
than eight eight about eight thousand?

Speaker 1 (29:50):
How about that? How about that?

Speaker 3 (29:53):
Hold on? Bro Brown looks like he could be your child?

Speaker 1 (29:58):
You think so?

Speaker 3 (30:00):
Hell yeah, i'mna send this picture of the group chat.

Speaker 1 (30:03):
Kind of funny, but I kind of I love.

Speaker 4 (30:05):
So I'm just saying, hey, I'll take him, I'll take
looks he looks just like you.

Speaker 1 (30:14):
That's interesting, though, I mean what you sent here? Oh
he does, he does.

Speaker 3 (30:21):
I don't want to send this to Scott Shapiro that
early in the morning. Yeah, I mean the one I've
got from the forty nine ers.

Speaker 1 (30:26):
Dude, he looks he could be your son.

Speaker 3 (30:30):
He's got like your neck.

Speaker 1 (30:31):
He kind of does, bro, he kind of does.

Speaker 3 (30:34):
That is a little LeVar Arian said. I never even.

Speaker 4 (30:39):
Maybe that's why I like him so much. Something you
want to tell because none of my kids look like that.
Something you want to tell him. I mean, I beat
a baby, beat a babby of that baby.

Speaker 1 (30:50):
I've been taking ball.

Speaker 3 (30:52):
I'm eleven two o two. That dude was yoke.

Speaker 1 (30:55):
He can ball, he is.

Speaker 4 (30:57):
He is a soul snatcher, as I call it.

Speaker 3 (31:01):
Don't they seem like facial stresses.

Speaker 4 (31:04):
I just wouldn't even not thought about that. But you're right, Yeah,
you're right. I'm gonna have to call it. Hey, Hey,
a t I'm gonna have to call you after the show.
My gee, you call Cafe two tens. There's something you
let me didn't tell me.

Speaker 1 (31:17):
I've never met his mom. I am old, I am
old enough.

Speaker 3 (31:22):
I think I met his dad.

Speaker 1 (31:23):
So geez that that would explain his game. He's got
a lot of games. Yes, you know, el'se got a
lot of game.

Speaker 6 (34:25):
Good morning, everybody, Good morning, Jonas, good morning, LeVar, good morning, Brady,
good to see you all.

Speaker 5 (34:31):
Good morning, sim Uh.

Speaker 6 (34:33):
Guys in case you missed it, the Madden ratings have
been uhla.

Speaker 5 (34:39):
Trickling out.

Speaker 6 (34:40):
The Madden ratings have been and amongst the ninety nine club, Hey,
Brady is justin Jefferson of course in the ninety nine
club and Aaron Donald.

Speaker 5 (34:49):
Aaron Donald has been now in the ninety nine.

Speaker 6 (34:52):
Club forever, forever, pretty much pretty much forever, actually surpassing
what was Peyton Manning's record.

Speaker 3 (35:00):
He is now.

Speaker 5 (35:02):
Back in the ninety nine club for a record breaking
seventh time.

Speaker 3 (35:05):
Oh, I'm going to be back.

Speaker 6 (35:06):
Well, only his rookie year was he ranked ninety two,
and then ever since he's been in the ninety nine club.

Speaker 3 (35:11):
Yeah, and that's that's Madden's fault for not saying his greatness.

Speaker 1 (35:15):
That's true.

Speaker 3 (35:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (35:16):
What do you guys? What do you think of the
guys that are upset about their rankings by Chris Jones.
They say he's going to keep writing them until they
move him up. Like even Josh Jacobs is upset that
Davante Adams ranking went down from last year or from
the year before when he had a really good year
last year. Who hits a video game? Who cares?

Speaker 3 (35:35):
I never played video games, so I don't really I
never cared, never looked at it, the college stuff, the
NFL stuff. I mean, it's just it was never something
I was like, oh, man, like I really want to
be good at this video game.

Speaker 4 (35:48):
I enjoyed college football in college. I ain't gonna lie.

Speaker 1 (35:52):
Oh.

Speaker 3 (35:52):
That's the thing is like I could see players playing
it getting too wrapped up into it. I don't know.
That's just not me.

Speaker 1 (35:58):
So what what player in the NFL would you guys
say have perfect rankings if ninety nine is considered as
close to perfectness, I mean, Mahomes, Mahomes, Seanld not Mahomes,
assuming they're gonna announce that this week, that's when they're
doing all this. That's my assumption. Mahomes, Donald Chelsea.

Speaker 3 (36:19):
Jefferson, Kelsey is Tyreek Hill ninety nine.

Speaker 1 (36:23):
He is nuts.

Speaker 3 (36:25):
I think that's the kind of stuff from like, come on, dude.

Speaker 1 (36:27):
I think he dropped points because he slapped some guy at.

Speaker 4 (36:29):
A marina two hundred, two hundred dollars worth of points.

Speaker 3 (36:35):
I'll give you what.

Speaker 1 (36:36):
I give you two hundred dollars for your headache. What
about what about like.

Speaker 3 (36:43):
Trent Williams should be a ninety nine. That's a good one.

Speaker 1 (36:46):
Quentin Nelson or Nelson did he have a down year and.

Speaker 3 (36:51):
Well last year everyone in Indiana down here.

Speaker 4 (36:53):
Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 3 (36:55):
Besides, probably that is true.

Speaker 1 (36:59):
I'm trying to think o'burrow is more than Justin Tucker's
in ninety nine. It should be at his position he's
in the hell yeah huh. I'm trying to think who
else would be.

Speaker 3 (37:09):
The problem is with this conversations justis who cares?

Speaker 1 (37:12):
Yeah, it's a great that's what else?

Speaker 3 (37:15):
Lee? What out you got?

Speaker 5 (37:16):
Guys?

Speaker 6 (37:16):
The the Browns are going for a white out this season,
the first time in seven with towels.

Speaker 3 (37:27):
Two.

Speaker 6 (37:27):
For the first time in over seven decades, the Browns
will be wearing non orange helmets. They'll have white helmets
with an orange stripe down the middle to match their
all white uniforms, and they're all white towels.

Speaker 1 (37:38):
Do you guys see the US by the way, By
the way, helmets are sweet.

Speaker 3 (37:41):
They're sweet. Their uniforms are awesome. I think they looked
a good look.

Speaker 6 (37:45):
Bengals are calling Shenanigan saying they're they're by dealing their
look from their all whites state they wore last year, so.

Speaker 1 (37:52):
They were the same colors though they're both orange and white.
For the Browns will have a lot of options. They
don't have a lot of They really don't, they really don't.

Speaker 4 (38:00):
Yeah, shouts out to the Bengals, though there's white are
probably the best.

Speaker 1 (38:05):
Yeah, they're all whites as fired too. Yeah, those are great. Yeah,
I mean the Browns have a lot of work to
work with their.

Speaker 3 (38:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (38:13):
What else we got is Netflix has announced that they
will pick up a second season of Quarterback all right, ready,
already already picked it up.

Speaker 1 (38:22):
It's been a success. Nice Marcus Mariota, Kirk Cousins and
Patrick Mahomes. Who do you think the quarterbacks are going
to be that they picked this next year?

Speaker 3 (38:31):
I mean they'd be taping them this year, right, Yeah,
I mean hopefully Rogers. That'd be fun. That'd be interesting.

Speaker 4 (38:38):
It's my quarterback, Joe Burrow maybe would be great.

Speaker 3 (38:43):
Josh would be fun.

Speaker 4 (38:44):
Ye, Garoppolo, Garoppolo would be fun, and that would be
an intriguing one.

Speaker 3 (38:51):
Yeah. You gotta throw it like a rookie too, right,
I mean it's got to be even you know, Bryce
Young Wilson shrouds someone and someone I would.

Speaker 1 (39:00):
Say Will Levis.

Speaker 3 (39:01):
We don't know if you see a play though.

Speaker 1 (39:03):
That might might make it even better as long as it.

Speaker 5 (39:09):
But she's already picking up deals with Burger.

Speaker 3 (39:11):
She's not your type, that's true.

Speaker 1 (39:12):
I was gonna say that your willhouse.

Speaker 4 (39:14):
Lee Sports, stick to what you know, Lee, shop in
your own Ailey spand your horizons.

Speaker 1 (39:20):
Damnang, get enough super What are you she gotting a
sponsorship from Burger here?

Speaker 3 (39:28):

Speaker 1 (39:29):
