in over ten thousand recommended installers tire rack dot The
way tire buying should be so Trey Lance got the
start for the Niners yesterday and who rocky downs didn't
go all that well. The touchdown he did throw, as
Eddie Garcia mentioned it earlier, it was a bad throw.
It was nearly intercepted, then landed in the arms of

(01:20):
a of a forty nine er and it ended up
being a touchdown pass. But it's it's just it's kind
of wild to think he's now in a spot after
they gave up all of that to compete with Sam Donald,
who looked okay for the backup job in San Francisco.

Speaker 5 (01:36):
Just the whole thing's crazy.

Speaker 4 (01:38):
And I don't think Trey Lance probably comes out of
that game yesterday and feels, you know, totally confident that
he's going to be the number two guy moving forward.
So there's the there's the latest on you got that one.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
I mean, look, I've said this and we'll continue to
say this. He just needs more time with development, you know.
And and you know, when Sam Donald goes in there,
things seemed to run rather smooth, and in part because
he's played a lot, right, he's been now with two
different organizations, he's he's been in multiple systems.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
He can adapt and he's.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
Doing his best just to kind of survive and provide
an opportunity to h to maybe be the guy this
year at when brock Purty's not there or if he
gets hurt, and and so I think we know what
he is bringing to the table. I've said I said
this last week, Leavar and you were gone. I think
if Darnald gets a shot an opportunity, I have to
go play well in that system. It's hard for quarterbacks
not to typically play well in that system. For Tray,

(02:29):
it's stuff though, because he just hasn't played a ton
of football, and he was never drafted for what he
had done and what he showcased. He was always drafted
based on his potential, and unfortunately, because of the injury
last last season and the way things have kind of
shaken out for him so far in his career, he
just hasn't had the opportunity to really get the type of,

(02:52):
you know, real playing experience that I think he needs
to be where San Francisco wants him to be as
an organization, to be with the fans want him to be,
and to honestly be where I think the media.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Thinks he should be.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
I keep going back to the fact that he only
started one year of college football.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
That was what four years ago now.

Speaker 5 (03:11):
Makes sense.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
It's it's tough to think that a guy is going
to be able to come in and be the type
of player he ultimately needs to be when he's miss
time due to injury or he hasn't been playing, you know,
due to whatever the circumstances were, like you know Covid
for example, back in twenty twenty when he was in college,
and then even once he got drafted into the league,
there's there's still been some you know, varying issues as

(03:33):
to whether or not he's ready. I just I think
he was always going to be viewed as a project,
and anyone who didn't see that, you know, probably was
you know, being wishful about, you know, what they thought
he could be. You know, I don't know who the
comps were for him and all that. I hate when
that comes around during draft time. I think it's the

(03:54):
stupidest thing in the world because everyone's unique in their
own way and they've had their own path to get
to that point. But a lot of people want to
take a big quarterback who's got a live arm, his
athletic and they say he's the next Josh Allen. You
hear that all the time, Like we try to make
quarterbacks in every draft class into He's Patrick Mahomes, He's

(04:16):
Joe Burrow, He's Josh he they're their own people like
those guys. I'm not saying it's disrespectful to Josh Allen,
Joe Burrow, and Patrick Mahomes. It just doesn't make sense
to compare to them. And so for Trey Lance, you know,
he's he's just a guy who needs more game reps.
And you know, whether it's preseason or once he gets
into the regular season, I'm not sure he's going to

(04:38):
be where they need him to be to ultimately say
like this is going to be a team that's gonna
be able to compete for a conference title. And I
think that's where they feel like they were at with
this roster.

Speaker 5 (04:48):
Dad Man walkin.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
That's why when you made the point we were talking
with Albert Breer, and Brady's thought was, and you've said
this before, that Aaron Rodgers was Plan A. That Aaron
Rodgers was Plan A, and that Trey Lance ended up
being Planned B. It makes sense when you think, all right,
he's a raw talent. But they were in win now mode,
So why would you draft somebody who's a project if
you're in win now mode? And it just feels like

(05:12):
rock Perty got there, Trey Lance had his opportunity to start.
It was a monsoon, It was a rough go for everybody.
Then he gets to Game two last year, suffers the injury,
and that's a wrap.

Speaker 5 (05:25):
Neither one of them played well enough to be looked
at as the starter, and that's what's damning. Like they
may be started, like they may be competing for a
starting position. I guess there were some reports that maybe
Purty isn't as far along as they would like, or
maybe he's having a little bit of trouble or something

(05:47):
to that effect.

Speaker 4 (05:48):
The report was that he struggled in joint practices with
the Raiders this week.

Speaker 5 (05:54):
That means whatever that means, I don't know, but I
will say this works to brock Perty's advantage as to
what the lasting memory of what he was able to
do and what didn't happen when he went out injured.
And and that was based off of off a Garoppolo.

(06:17):
You know, you you came in and took over for Garoppolo.
You didn't come in and take over for Trey Lance.
Trey Lance has has still not established that he's the guy,
and I don't know. And listen, it's preseason, so it's
hard to say you're going to cast a strong judgment

(06:40):
on on a player in the preseason just because of
how vanilla they played during the game. Like we heard CJ.
Stroud come out and say, listen, I've been doing a
lot of great things in practice. You know, one one
interception doesn't change you know, doesn't ruin everything, like kind of,
I mean, he kind of said it did ruin everything.
But but the point is is that I don't know

(07:00):
that we should be judging him so so hard or
so harshly in the preseason. But with that being said,
he's in a position. Trey Lance is in a position
where the preseason and any other snap, every snap Tray
Lance gets, you have to assume has some type of

(07:20):
value connected to it. He's gotta he's got to show
his value, whether it's in practice, whether it's in the games.
He has to show that value because he hasn't established
himself as the undisputed quarterback of this team. And that's
that's a tough that's a tough road the whole, especially
when you got a guy of the quality of of

(07:43):
of a of what's Darnald behind him? You know you
have Donald that you know he like, Like you said, Q,
under this offensive scheme, you take a lot of pressure
off of a quarterback in these situations because that's how
Shanahan knows how to run the ball. He knows how
to get the ball to the different players, and he

(08:04):
knows how to find a rhythm offensively. You know that
that is suitable to and conduce it to success for
your quarterback. So now the question is why can't Trey
Lance have that same amount of success, And it's probably
because of the lack of experience and the lack of
development up to this point, over to the time that
he's been a pro.

Speaker 4 (08:25):
So when they were so bullish on brock Purty coming
back from the injury, and they'd been consistent throughout the
whole offseason, you know, Brock will be back.

Speaker 5 (08:32):
He'll be our starter. Brock's going to be back, He'll
be our starter.

Speaker 4 (08:35):
Do you think part of that was that they've probably
seen although they haven't seen enough in games, but they've
probably seen Lance in practice and have thought, yeah, that's
not it.

Speaker 5 (08:46):
Brock, Party's our guy.

Speaker 4 (08:47):
And maybe that's all that they're going on, And it
just makes me wonder if that's the case, and they
already have a thought about what he is as a quarterback,
and it's not brock party that there's a real chance
that Trey Lance will never start another game for the
forty nine ers and they traded away three first round
picks for him.

Speaker 5 (09:07):
It's kind of wild man.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
And they're going to survive it and still be a
Super Bowl contender, that's how good the roster is. It's
just crazy to think about how how everything changed for
Trey Lance over the past year.

Speaker 5 (09:18):
I would say, what does that look like for the future?
Like is he trade bait? Is he cut? Like? What?
How does that even? How does that look? What does
that look like? And then how does that like for
what it's worth? How do you grade John Lynch on
making this pick? Like you still have to grade him

(09:39):
on using a top draft pick on a quarterback in
that quarterback did not work. I mean, some gms lose
their jobs, coaches lose their jobs over stuff like this.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
Yeah, but if you have the guy you also drafted
behind him, I mean it's kind of like people forget
about that, right, I.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
Mean if brock Purty ends up being the guy.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
Now if if Purdy ends up not being a guy,
or they know, find themselves at a ceiling, which I mean,
here's the reality. You know, they were incredibly successful over
the time that Jimmy Garoppolo was healthy and a starter
in San Francisco. Can I throw this question out there?

Speaker 5 (10:15):
Absolutely, if Jimmy.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
Garoppolo never gets hurt and he has the type of
success that he had when healthy in San Francisco, is
he not still the starting quarterback? So last year what
we find is, you know, Jimmy Garoppolo gets hurt, brock
Purty comes in, he does a great job, a great job,
has a nice run of success. They're basically banking on

(10:40):
brock Purty for the at least foreseeable future when he
comes back, and if he's back on hundred percent healthy,
being a cheaper version of what they had in Jimmy Garoppolo. Like,
is anything brock Purty does significantly better than what Jimmy
Garoppolo does?

Speaker 4 (10:54):
No.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
I mean, if you looked at them just T shirt
shorts throwing the football, you would say they're.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
Kind of similar in some ways.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
Like I would say brock Purty might be a little
better for pushing the football down the field Vertically, I
would say Garoppolo probably spits the ball out faster. He's
got a lightning quick release and has a better feel
for just what he's.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
Seeing out there so far.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
So maybe you could do a little bit more with
Jimmy Garoppolo as as compared to brock Purty at this
point in Brock's career, not saying he won't in the future,
but at this point, but the difference is like then,
when you look at Trey Lance, he's the guy that
goes out there that probably has a bigger arm right,
probably has more athletic when if he wants to run
and then get outside the pocket do some things like

(11:37):
he's the guy you look and go, wow, who is
that guy? It's just he's not where obviously he needs
to be from a mental standpoint and experience standpoint in
the league.

Speaker 2 (11:48):
But I just I kind of find it.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
Interesting, like when you look at San Francisco and how
we've gotten to this point, you know they move on
from Jimmy Garoppolo because he's a more expensive option as
compared to brock Purty. That that was really what Kyle
Shanahan was alluding to when he talked about it last
week and saying that, like, hey, this is a guy
that we just won't going to agree to a contract with,
right right. He kind of quickly wrote it off because

(12:11):
if we have a guy we feel the same about
and he's cheaper, it's the NFL. We picked that guy
every day of the week. So that's the position that
I think San Francisco is in now. But it's kind
of I'm kind of curious to see how things go
moving forward. Like they moved on from Jimmy Garoppolo because
they felt like they hit a ceiling. I guess my
question is when brock Perty comes back, did they get

(12:34):
to a point where they feel like they hit a
ceiling with him? Because he's got he's got a similar
skill set and attributes like Garoppolo has. He's not a
guy that we look at like Josh Allen. If if
we did, he would have been drafted in the first round.
But that's not the case. You guys gonna get where
I'm going for.

Speaker 4 (12:52):
Yeah, well, it's the same thing that the Rams did.
The Rams quote unquote upgraded to Matt Stafford because yeah,
Matt Stafford does have a better m than Jared Goff,
and they felt like they had reached the ceiling. They
got to a super Bowl but weren't able to win it,
So there was I can I can see why there
was some clear differences there, But to your point, there's
no real clear advantage that brock Perty has And it's

(13:14):
just the whole situation. And again, Kyle Shannon, they're just
going to contell to.

Speaker 5 (13:18):
Jimmy Garoppolo in the scenario, right, Jimmy Garoppolo versus Brock
Party in the scenario because of maybe his health concerns
or whatever. So like you said, like you saw something
in Party that was similar to Garoppolo, So it's like
we're going to take We're going to take Party. But
then now you don't have Trey Lance showing that he's

(13:43):
any different even the health knock.

Speaker 4 (13:45):
Like if you were to say, all the difference between
Brock Party as we've talked about and Jimmy Garoppolo is
what you can't really point to health because brock Purty
got injured too.

Speaker 5 (13:52):
I would just say winning it would be if if
you're going to say what is the differentiator, it would
be when they want to want to Yeah, the side
of Garoppolo.

Speaker 4 (14:04):
Brock Purty was undefeated and starts other than the Philly
game right in the NFC title game.

Speaker 5 (14:09):
It's it's a larger body of work for Garoppolo though,
and and listen for what it's worth to have the
type of success that that brock party had. That is
not a given. Like sure, they didn't have a lot
of film on him, they might not have been aware
of him, but there was a comfort level between the
coaching staff, brock Purty and that that team.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
Well, and let's let's go through the teams they beat.
They played Miami, was that what Tua back?

Speaker 5 (14:38):
I don't think so that was Week.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
Twelve of last season.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
They beat them pretty good, and I believe.

Speaker 5 (14:46):
It wouldn't have been the same one anyway though about
week twelve we didn't have the same uh, the same tour.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
Yeah, and then they go and play Tampa, which I
mean Tampa won the division last year with a losing
record like that was just we kind of knew they
were going to be overly competitive, even though it was
Tom and everything else. I mean again at home, they
go to Seattle, that's a good win there versus the Seahawks,
Right for the season they had. They then host the

(15:14):
Washington Commandos, which again not a very competitive football team.
Last year, they go to Las Vegas, win a tight
one there versus the Raiders, and then they beat Arizona
in Week.

Speaker 5 (15:28):
Seventeen, Week seventeen Arizona, so yeah.

Speaker 4 (15:32):
Yeah bye week Yeah TOA did play in that game,
So that was a game two it came back for.

Speaker 5 (15:38):
That's not the most impressive resume of teams for him
to say.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
And that's all I'm pointing out is like, you know,
I've tried to temper San Francisco forty nine ers fans
only because you're kind of saying yourself like, let's just
hold off for a second, you know, let's let the
young man play more. Let's see how things go. We've
seen a lot of quarterbacks play really really well in
the system, and all race to see is at some
point if San Francisco gets to a point where they feel.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
Like they've they've hit a ceiling with him. You know, again,
Trey Lance, that draft pick, it's a different prospect.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
That's a guy they took because of the upside, the talent,
all the you know, the physical attributes. They didn't take
Brock Purdy in the first round, Like this isn't like
me saying this, this is obvious. I'm putting something out
that when you look at how this thing could play
out down the road, if they end up eventually saying like,
well we kind of hit our ceiling here with Brock Purdy.

(16:32):
What's because he doesn't have the things that they saw
on Trey Lance to want to take him at that
number three overall spot.

Speaker 5 (16:38):
You'd have to assume he doesn't have very much rumway either,
you know, because of where he was drafted. If he
shows that he can't get it done, or if that
ceiling looks like that's it's close in sight, you can't
assume that he's going to get a lot of time
to be able to prove one way or the other
that that's what it's going to be. Like you get
to an opportunity, right.

Speaker 1 (16:58):
I mean it's a what seventh round pick, It's not
that big of an investment into him.

Speaker 5 (17:02):
Yeah, that's pretty incredible.

Speaker 4 (17:03):
Two pros and a cup of Joe lou On Fox
Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you.
All right, So coming up next here, we're going to
talk about a play in the NFL that apparently should
not have counted. A big play this weekend in the
NFL that should not have counted, and that's yours right
here on FSR.

Speaker 3 (17:21):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio.

Speaker 4 (17:34):
App Two Pros and a Cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here coming
up in about twenty minutes from now, we are going
to have another edition of You In or You Out
as we close up shop here on a Monday morning
for you right here on FSR. But we've been talking
about a very busy weekend in the NFL. On the field,
preseason action everywhere. You had the Baltimore Ravens continuing their

(17:57):
success twenty four straight wins in season action for Baltimore
as they took care of Philly. A lot of storylines,
a lot of debuts, a lot of curiosity to see
how everybody looks a year removed from the twenty twenty
two season, and so one of those guys was justin
fields of the Chicago Bears. Everyone wanted to see a
you know, he's got you know, some weapons around him,
He's got DJ Moore, he's got all this other fun

(18:20):
stuff to work with now. And his first touchdown pass
of the game was a screen pass to DJ Moore.

Speaker 5 (18:25):
He took it to the house.

Speaker 4 (18:26):
First touches a Bear resulted in a touchdown, and then look,
everybody seemed to be happy about the following touchdown, which
involved a play to Khalil Herbert. This courtesy of the
Bears television network.

Speaker 5 (18:40):
So Herbert, he.

Speaker 6 (18:41):
Got it forty focking midfield first down in Lord of
the forty Angles, thirty twenty sideline lip get, stays on
his feet, plunges into the end zone for the touchdown, touchdown.

Speaker 5 (18:54):
Bears fifty six yards on a duppa.

Speaker 4 (18:58):
All right, Bears radio, not TV, whatever, But point is whatever,
win some games. Point is I mean, everybody seemed to
be happy about that performance, except for somebody just had
to be the kill joy.

Speaker 5 (19:11):
Brady had to point out something, didn't you.

Speaker 1 (19:14):
I'm just saying that play when it counted in the
regular season, when they're actually paying attention to ineligible Lineman downfield.

Speaker 5 (19:21):
So yikes, I mean you.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
Tell me, go back watch the clip. They were like
four or five yards downfield. How they missed that in
the preseason is shocking considering usually they try to throw
more flags when possible, but in this case, maybe there
was some hometown cooking there in Chicago.

Speaker 4 (19:40):
I mean, look, they wanted to make everybody feel good
about Justin Field's debut the DJ Moore past. Like, I
don't know how you walk away from that game and go, oh, man,
like I've seen what I wanted to see out of
Justin Fields. It was just two catch and run touchdowns.
He didn't really play all that much and that was it.
So it just seems like there's more to be seen
out of him and just what this offense is really

(20:02):
going to look like. Because early on Tennessee was marching
right down the field on the defense, that's for sure.

Speaker 1 (20:08):
So oh, it wasn't with the starters either, which is
a bit concerning. I guess if you're a you know,
a fan of the Bears, that's all I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (20:16):
Yeah, I mean I'm not, but I know that that
that would dub Bears. There's a lot of fans of
the bears out there. Bears.

Speaker 1 (20:25):
Bears are good. You know.

Speaker 5 (20:27):
I saw some big ass bears outside my house. Big
ass there they rolled there. It's a it's a group
of them. I didn't know that there was a group
of them. By the way, there was just one.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
Smokey's got a lot of friends.

Speaker 5 (20:39):
Man, hey, look here, man, they was. They was out
that bad boy. They tore up the trash cans and
then just went to sleep right in the middle of
the of the of the of the street.

Speaker 1 (20:49):
They're eating good, huh, eat real good.

Speaker 5 (20:52):
Yeah, they eat real good where we at, I'm telling you,
I know, especially but I cooked so much this past weekend.
I did some shots out to my people's at Trigger.
You know, they're supports of the show, supporters of the show. Yeah,
I did some some cooking for some content for trade.
There's meat out there for him, I'll tell you that.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
Where do you draw the line with the bears? Like
are you okay with him?

Speaker 1 (21:16):
Like sorting through the trash eating, eating the food out
of the trash. Like is it when they take a
dump in your front yard where you're like, okay, you
know they did, I was okay with you eating, just
not taking an away game of my hend.

Speaker 5 (21:26):
They took a dump right in front of the entry
of my driveway, so I couldn't I couldn't ignore it.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
How big is it?

Speaker 5 (21:33):
It's been huge, It's it is horrible looking. It's really big.
It's a really, really really big pile and it is
really really gross.

Speaker 1 (21:45):
Did you move it?

Speaker 5 (21:48):
I am guilty. I did not touch that, man. I
drove over it and try it not. Yes, I did.
I didn't drive over it with my with my tires.
I drove over top of it, as in like it
straddled in between my tires. I didn't touch it. I
just drove over it. I just figured that we have street,

(22:10):
we have a street cleaner, and I'm like in my mind,
I'm like, the street cleaner is gonna come and they're
going to clean this this off like they're going to
And they did not.

Speaker 1 (22:21):
It's on your driveway though it's not on the street.

Speaker 5 (22:23):
It was on the street. It wasn't on the driveway.
It was like right at the yes, it was.

Speaker 1 (22:29):
Was it the size of like a football helmet?

Speaker 5 (22:32):
It was big, bro like like if my memory serves
me correctly, part of it was like you know, turts,
and the rest of it was like mush, but like
both parts were equally Yeah, yeah, that's that's the problem.
They both parts were equally really really large.

Speaker 4 (22:54):
You can't chase a coyote with a glass of milk,
Like that's just not the way to go. And so
I think that's what led to the issues that you
had there in your driveway.

Speaker 5 (23:03):
Is that what it is?

Speaker 2 (23:04):
Sounds like just get a little bear.

Speaker 5 (23:07):
Yeah, common I have heard though.

Speaker 2 (23:14):
Related to that.

Speaker 5 (23:15):
Yeah, like now it all makes sense.

Speaker 2 (23:17):
That's why you both have all black underwear.

Speaker 5 (23:19):
There you go. They did have black guy. They wore
black beers. Yeah, yeah, you won't see them by a
pair of white BBDs. I think. I think no white jeans,
no nothing. I think the one that rolls by itself
is a black beer. I think the two that role
as a group or brown waiting for that. I mean
you know that they're they're in the black brown community.

(23:41):
You know, that's what I mean, that's what they are.
I'm sorry, you know.

Speaker 2 (23:46):
Bround bears are like much bigger.

Speaker 5 (23:49):
They were and they are much bigger. Yes, the black
bear looks like like a dog.

Speaker 1 (23:53):
And you got like bears pray or something.

Speaker 5 (23:55):
No, we all got to do nothing, man, we're on
a we're on a mountain, like there are there are friends.
We're in their tear tour until they're not. Well, that's
very true. You know, it's crazy. So when I came
home last night, I made I made a quick little
run out outside. When I got back, my censor light
was on. It was on, like where because my my,

(24:18):
my garages are on on the back end of my house.
So I got to drive into the driveway, make a turn,
and then make another turn. And there's a blind spot.
There's a blind that's a long ass driveway. There's a
blind spot when you make that last turn to go
pull into the garages. But we don't pull into the garage.
We just park in front of the front door. How

(24:39):
many garages you got it's too Let's see, it's not
bad at all. Right, two garage doors, that's not. That's not.
I mean one is a really really big garage, like
you fit two cars and it's not. Damn, that's not.

Speaker 1 (24:53):
So you're saying three car garage but only two doors.

Speaker 5 (24:56):
What we're saying you can fit three cars in that
that garage. Yeah, that's not. I mean that's a.

Speaker 2 (25:01):
Three car garage. That's if you're selling your house. That's
how you describe it.

Speaker 5 (25:05):
Three yeah, two doors, Well but it is two doors,
but it's just one.

Speaker 1 (25:10):
But you were you were trying to not like be like, oh,
it's a three car garage.

Speaker 5 (25:13):
Yeah it is. It holds three. The point of the
story was, that's wrong with that. I find myself being
a tad bit nervous, Like I've already come face to
face with him, like once twice, twice I came face
to face with him, and the one time I was out,
I'm at my door in my car and I didn't

(25:35):
see him because he was laying down apparently, and then
he stood back up once once he hurt me, and
then he started messing with the trash again, like he's
like this dude then woke me up, let me get
back into this trash. I was like, hey, get out here.

Speaker 4 (25:50):
Well he knows you don't finish your food anymore, so
there's gonna be fine.

Speaker 5 (25:54):
Yeah. Well they so it's interesting. They take the whole
entire bag out of the trash can. They knocked the
trash can down. Then they take the bag and they
go somewhere where they want to go, and then they
sit like they'll sit like you'll see trash bags randomly
on the street, and we got it like as neighbors,

(26:14):
we got like people be trying to figure out is
that your trash bag or is that my trash bag. Oh,
that's a black trash bag. That's your trash bag. Like
that's a white trash bag, that's my trash bag. Like
you know, we know our trash bag colors. Thank you.
What does color matter in the track because you can
identify whose home it's coming from. You know what color
are yours? White and black? I like to mix them.

(26:41):
I try not to discriminate on what color bag I
put into my trash Every once in a while, I
switch up. Well, you know what, stupid? What is wrong
with you? I'm talking about trash bags and beers.

Speaker 4 (27:00):
I think I might know why the bears are attracted. Yeah,
why because you use Irish spring. Fresh cent of Irish
spring and those sensational Irish spring sets are just the
reset you need to own the day Irish spring. When

Speaker 5 (27:14):
They got to have some serious bellies to be doing
the stuff they be doing with them. Trashes by the
way bears. Oh, their their digestice system has got to
be their their bellied lining has got to be like
irons play.

Speaker 1 (27:26):
You didn't touch it, like you didn't pick it up.

Speaker 4 (27:28):
No, I heard that if you eat bear it's sweet
because of all the blueberries they eat.

Speaker 5 (27:34):
It's like, I mean, who do you hear that from?
Eat beer?

Speaker 1 (27:38):
Is that you heard? I mean, what what Davy Crockett
told you that?

Speaker 5 (27:40):
Would you hear that from?

Speaker 4 (27:41):
I got sources? Don't worry about it, all right, you
know big bear guy here?

Speaker 5 (27:45):
All right?

Speaker 4 (27:46):
All right, so we've got another edition of you, and
you're out coming up here shortly. But for all the
latest from around the world of sports. He's our sweet berries.
Damn he's Edmond Garcia.

Speaker 1 (27:57):
Oh damn, I saw that one coming so far away.

Speaker 5 (28:05):
You're a grizzly bear. Oh man, yeah, yeah, Why is
that Eddie?

Speaker 1 (28:10):
Yeah? Why is that Eddie?

Speaker 5 (28:13):
Are you grizzly Eddie? Oh?

Speaker 7 (28:14):
No?

Speaker 5 (28:15):
Oh no, Jonas maybe Jonas you the big Beer. Yeah,
that's definitely Trump, big Bear, the Big Beer. We got
some news from the NFL.

Speaker 8 (28:25):
Also, Grande Bear. Come you say bear Espel? Okay, I
don't think Jonas is Actually.

Speaker 4 (28:37):
That's one of my ten words, and I know it's Vanish.
That's the only one that's clean that I could say.

Speaker 5 (28:42):
On the air. Uh mucho grande. Also, yeah, that that
I now that that cereal Cereal. No, I didn't know that.
Definitely not. We're going it in the breakdown. Okay, all right.

Speaker 9 (29:02):
News from the NFL where Annamplis Colts All Pro running
back Jonathan Taylor, who's at odds with the team over
his contract situation, will reportedly return to training camp this
week after missing all team activities so far. We had
a couple of preseason games. On Sunday, Saints beat the
Chiefs twenty six to twenty four. New New Orleans quarterback
Derek Carr was six of eight passing seventy yards of touchdown,
no interceptions. Kent City quarterback Patrick Mahomes one series, two

(29:24):
for two passing fifteen yards, no touchdowns, no interceptions. Raiders
roll over the forty nine Ers thirty four to seven.
No Jimmy Garoppolo at quarterback for Vegas against his old team.
No Brock Party for San Francisco. Tree Lance did play
in this win the first half ten of fifteen, passing
one hundred and twelve yards with a touchdown, no interceptions,
the back to LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox, Tire
Rack dot Com, Fox Sports Radio Studios.

Speaker 4 (29:45):
Thanks Eddy, two pros and a cup of Joe, And
now it is time for the progressive play of the day.

Speaker 2 (29:50):
This will be a thirty one yarder. Takes his steps
to the left seven six from thirty.

Speaker 5 (29:58):
One yards out. The kick is up and welcome to
the NFL.

Speaker 6 (30:04):
Blake Groupie Saints whip it twenty six to twenty four.

Speaker 4 (30:11):
There you go, Saints Radio Network on the call. That
is your progressive play of the day. Progressive is making
things even easier. They'll help youve onto your home and
car insurance together you can save on both. Learn more
Progressive dot Com or one eight hundred Progressive. So he
this guy Blake Groupie is in Notre damer right, Yeah,
So he sent a tweet out or an X out

(30:32):
afterwards Groupie. Oh yeah, group I don't know why they
call him groupie on the call. Well, whatever will be
a I'll leave that alone. But the point is he
sent on Twitter one get questioned walking into the field,
pregame for not having credentials. Step two hit a game winner,
step three, get stopped by security thinking I was a

(30:53):
fan when trying to walk out, the player exits, stay humble, thankful,
great team win.

Speaker 5 (30:58):
How's that happen? Well, you're nuts than humble by saying, oh.

Speaker 1 (31:01):
That is not the first time I told Joe. When
we were walking across for our spring game, we had
a specialist, same thing, like security guards. This was in college.

Speaker 2 (31:12):
They grabbed him like, hey, kid, get out.

Speaker 1 (31:13):
From under it. I mean, and obviously it's like all
players walking over, but they thought some random kids snuck
in with the rest of the team, and they literally
grabbed him, put hands on him, and pulled him out.

Speaker 5 (31:24):
The fact that he won the game a guy stopped
on his way out is kind of that's that's bad,
you know.

Speaker 1 (31:29):
It's like, I mean, they're not obviously focused on the game,
and especially like specialists, like they don't know.

Speaker 5 (31:34):
Those guys just got to get more jacked. I would
never have that problem. I'd just be walking around like, look,
I'm the kicker. I'm the kicker. You might as well
just keep.

Speaker 2 (31:44):
Your uniform on and walk out, you know, I just
don't even take it off.

Speaker 1 (31:48):
Way, Why don't you shower at the in the locker room.
It's like, well, I want people to know I'm actually.

Speaker 5 (31:52):
On the team, so I get a big gold chain kicker.
That's how it's done, big old rope, big gold plated
dip kicker with diamonds in it.

Speaker 1 (32:05):
So you think when people see you, they're gonna be like, oh,
of course that guy's the kicker. He's got a big
gold change.

Speaker 5 (32:10):
There you go, bam.

Speaker 4 (32:11):
By the way, I thought will Lutz was pretty hill man.
I thought Will LUTs was pretty entrenched there. He's had
had a good career with New Orleans and apparently was trying.

Speaker 1 (32:19):
To get younger and cheaper man battling it out.

Speaker 5 (32:22):
Younger and cheaper. It's two pros and a company. Oh here,
some would say it is younger and poor expensive.

Speaker 2 (32:28):
Yeah, oh no, you spent too much time, n.

Speaker 5 (32:33):
I just watched people's lifestyles. It's not the lifestyle.

Speaker 2 (32:37):
See a lot of that down there, though.

Speaker 5 (32:38):
Yes, you do, yes, and and and let me tell
you something. Where do they find their talent? I mean,
because they all seem to be like hitting like very
good sir, okay, very good sir, okay.

Speaker 1 (32:56):
Down in certain areas you you really just need to
have and this is really important yes, you just need
to have two working eyes and then you'll be able
to figure it out.

Speaker 5 (33:03):
Yeah. Yeah, working eyes, two working outs.

Speaker 1 (33:07):
Eyes that aren't blind or you're not near sighted or
far sighted. Just having twenty twenty vision really helps. Oh okay,
Jonas kind of tested this if he's been down on this.

Speaker 5 (33:16):
I thought there was something connected to having working eyes
open and not closed.

Speaker 2 (33:20):
Yeah, well yeah that'd be open.

Speaker 5 (33:22):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (33:22):
Yeah, that's party too.

Speaker 5 (33:24):
Okay, good place at that part.

Speaker 1 (33:26):
It doesn't matter if you have eyes, if they're if
they're not open.

Speaker 2 (33:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (33:28):
Oh, and they gotta be working. It's a good place
to be. Well, there you go.

Speaker 4 (33:32):

inducted the Hall of Fame, and then they fast forward
back to his place in Scottsdale and he's doing beer
bogs and smoking weed. It's like, okay, yeah, we're good,
