Speaker 4 (01:45):
Remember every time I was actually awake orang show, I
actually thought about calling in or even uh you know,
going through the comrecks to come onto the show. Now,
I was like, I thought better of it. I didn't
want to disrupt you guys. No, you need that time away.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
You earned it.

Speaker 4 (02:02):
I was there though I was here. I just you know,
I'll let you go sort of.

Speaker 5 (02:08):
You were you were adventuring out and you were going
different places.

Speaker 4 (02:11):
I was, I was down your way. I was down
your way. Yeah, for a few days, it was pretty cool. Yeah, man,
Fort Lauderdale. I ended up in Coral Gables, had a
nice little little little deal there and saw practice. I
didn't even realize Jason Taylor was coaching Miami.

Speaker 5 (02:27):
I didn't.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
I didn't realize that.

Speaker 6 (02:28):
But he got into coaching at It's interesting actually, right
because one of his sons obviously is playing at l
s U. Right, but he had he had originally started
coaching Saint Thomas Aquinas, Right.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
I think that's where it was.

Speaker 6 (02:41):
Was like whoa those dudes like all like everyone played
everyone was you know, like when you have a Hall
of Famer or your staff, you're like, okay.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
That's where the Bosas went, right, Yeah, yeah, they'd be
bawling out down there.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Man, that's there.

Speaker 4 (02:55):
They're they're like one of I don't know if there's
still under Armours one of under Armours MA main schools,
but it was Under Armour's main school for for a while.

Speaker 6 (03:05):
See this all the time that like Dade and Broward
County basically where you were at, they have more Division
one scholarships just those two counties of Florida than like
seven states combined.

Speaker 5 (03:20):
It is ridiculous how much talent is down there.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
It was it was pretty cool being on the practice field.
I ain't gonna lie. And then the linebackers came up
to me after the practice. I was like, I said,
what's that for y'all walking up to me? Forty said,
we gotta we gotta meet one of the goats. I said, man, y'all,
don't take your asses somewhere.

Speaker 5 (03:39):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
I appreciate it. Yeah, you ain't looked on the wall lately.
You see who's on y'all's wall? Just say hi to me?

Speaker 1 (03:49):
All right?

Speaker 4 (03:50):
It was cool though. Man, they look pretty good too.
You know Chrystal Ball, He's he's an interesting dude. I
got a little bit of time with him. He's a
pretty cool character. You know, he speaks and you know,
parables and phrases and stuff like that. You know, he's
like real creative in his thoughts. So he's pretty cool.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
Dude. Man, how long is his leash there? Is he
going to be there?

Speaker 5 (04:11):
While?

Speaker 1 (04:11):
Man, he loves Miami. Yeah, I mean he's got a
lot of roots down there, and he came from you know,
he came from there.

Speaker 6 (04:18):
I mean, the problem is they they moved to him
and then there's really to me that I think there's
a decently long leash.

Speaker 5 (04:27):
But last year was was a little bit disappointing. You know.

Speaker 6 (04:31):
I think everyone's hoping for this jump where you get
Miami competitive with the Clemsons, the Florida States of the
ACC and.

Speaker 5 (04:40):
And and we'll see, we'll see how fast they can
get up to that point.

Speaker 6 (04:42):
But I think he's got a little longer leash than
most realize.

Speaker 4 (04:47):
Yes, it's going to take a little bit longer than
next year. Yeah, it'll take a little bit longer than
next year. But they are hitting in the right direction.
I mean they are, you know, they are getting super
competitive and and and they're race for talent we'll call it.
Is that what it should be called these days? Like
arms race?

Speaker 6 (05:06):
Well, yeah, they're big.

Speaker 5 (05:09):
Let's just call it.

Speaker 6 (05:10):
The engine that was helping some of that maybe maybe
under a little bit.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
Of scrutiny right now, Oh, what's his name again, I'm.

Speaker 6 (05:17):
Not gonna say names. Okay, there's a company called life Wallet.
I'll leave it at that. Go look up what's happening
with life wallet right now?

Speaker 1 (05:25):
Thanks?

Speaker 2 (05:26):
Yeah, that could be troublesome. Here's what's not troublesome. When
you won twenty four straight preseason games.

Speaker 4 (05:31):
Okay, okay, harball, okay, okay, it was Baltimore race k Hardy.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
John Harbaugh is now forty four and twelve in the
preseason in his career. That's a seven eighty six winning percentage,
and the Baltimore Ravens clearly care about this a lot.
I don't know how you just accidentally win twenty four
straight preseason games as they took care of Philly, which,
by the way, I mean there were a couple of
guys that mentioned Philly plus five and a half. I

(05:58):
believe last week tried to tell everybody little financial.

Speaker 5 (06:01):
You weren't one of them. I don't know why your
co signing this.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
What are you talking about?

Speaker 6 (06:05):
I'm saying exactly what I said. Then is I made
the statement and you kind of like came around to it.
Now your co signed like yells your right.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
Well, hones.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
Second, I'm almost positive I was leading you to water there.
I wanted I wanted you to get there and say, yeah,
we got here together.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
No sense, that's unfair, No, sir, Yeah.

Speaker 6 (06:22):
This is Have you ever noticed that LeVar like Jonas
loves piggybacks, like he would love to be like, hey,
can I think a piggyback ride? Like okay, Jonah Sale,
jump on, here we go, Like he loves that, especially
in gambling.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
Hold on.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
I presented my argument for Nick Sirianni. It's got a
little bit of a red ass. Nick Sirianni, I would
love nothing more than to break this streak, and they're
going to try and be as competitive as possible. I
think there's going to be a discussion about it. He
strikes me as that type of guy. He's the same
guy who yelled at the Cowboys sidelines if you that's
game last year. A competitive guy. And so my presentation

(06:58):
led to a joint pick on the air.

Speaker 5 (07:03):
Oh yeah, we didn't say Baltimore was going to lose.
It was just saying, like the.

Speaker 6 (07:07):
Both rosters are pretty deep, Like that's what you're looking
for in preseason when you see these like first string
to third string rosters where you're like, man, it's like
competitive rosters, like dudes are dying to try to make
that We like as just Jonas is saying he went
through whatever he said, which was you know, who knows
Philly's got Philly had a very competitive, like second third,

(07:28):
fourth string quarterback situation, so you know, all those dudes
are gonna come in and try to be dealing, which
Tanne Murkey I thought did a pretty good job. And
then but the rest of the roster is going to
match up well. So it was a very competitive game.
Baltimore kept their streak easy money though, with Philly covering,
which obviously the best part is when that stuff goes
down on social media, all these Baltimore Ravens SAIDs.

Speaker 5 (07:48):
Look, oh, no way, bro, you're just hating all the Ravens. Man,
you don't believe. I'm like, all right, watch watch what happens.
We've seen this story before.

Speaker 4 (07:58):
The Ravens. The Carter looked pretty good first play. Yeah,
I blew it up.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
It seems it seems like he's going to make an
impact in the NFL.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
He's a boy.

Speaker 5 (08:07):
We were like, wait, what was the big concern before that?

Speaker 1 (08:10):
His his character issues? I feel.

Speaker 4 (08:15):
Then then he put that character on that that offensive
lineman and showed a little bit of that that character
getting off of them, and then a little bit of
character getting to the quarterback, and you showed a whole
lot of character.

Speaker 5 (08:27):
Yeah about talk about red ass.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Yeah yeah, so labar Puffy.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
One of the things that happens when you leave us
sometimes we make questionable decisions, like make picks against the
spread on every single preseason game over the weekend. Maybe
not the greatest idea in the world. I mean it
sped by. I mean if it literally flew by.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
So it did take.

Speaker 6 (08:47):
Terrible segments it took. So it was one of the
worst segments we've ever done.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
Lee, would you say that's the worst one of the
worst segments we've ever done.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
I would disagree.

Speaker 7 (08:56):
I would disagree say it was one of the greatest segments.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
Yeah, wow, nobody's got the balls to bet on preseason
I was.

Speaker 4 (09:02):
I wasn't even hair. Yeah, it was the greatest segment
of all time.

Speaker 7 (09:06):
Definitely made the most money or lost most money.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
So Lee, we have the results because there are fourteen
games over the weekend that we picked preseason games against
the spread. We just mentioned Philly plus five and a half.

Speaker 1 (09:17):
I'm excited to hear about this.

Speaker 4 (09:18):
All right, So did you get that You got that right?
You're saying, yeah, of course, and Q you got it right? Yeah, Okay,
So I guess we'll go to the official scorecards for this.

Speaker 1 (09:29):
That is correct.

Speaker 7 (09:29):
You got that right, and you both got you both
agreed on four No excuse me, you guys agreed on
nine of the fourteen games. Yeah, and you guys went
four and five on that, So you got that Philly
would cover.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
You also got the upsets.

Speaker 7 (09:45):
Of Detroit over the Giants, Yeah, Buffalo over Indy, and
the Chargers beating the Rams.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
And then what was the overall records for us?

Speaker 7 (09:52):
So for the overall record for you guys head to head, Jonas,
you went four and one against Brady and what did
Brady get? Brady went what in for ye?

Speaker 5 (10:01):
Man, it's the flip.

Speaker 1 (10:03):
I'm telling you.

Speaker 5 (10:04):
You know what I did, LeVar.

Speaker 6 (10:05):
There were so many home underdogs, and I'm like, I
don't understand all these home teams are getting like they're
getting four and a half five points. It was ridiculous,
and that strategy did not prove to be right. In fact,
the Carolina Panthers thank you for showing up just to
be there at the game, because outside of that, you
did nothing.

Speaker 5 (10:24):
The entire time.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
Yeah, I'd imagine they're not pretty pleased with the offensive
lines performance in that game because Bryce.

Speaker 4 (10:31):
Was getting touched up for sir, oh boy, I mean
man lifting me off the ground.

Speaker 6 (10:36):
The Jets, literally, I think they're their facilities in Florham Park,
New Jersey.

Speaker 5 (10:40):
They moved their team meetings to.

Speaker 6 (10:42):
The spot there in the pocket where any of the
Carolina Panthers quarterbacks were via Bryce Young, Matt Corrall, whoever
you want to talk about. They literally picked up moved
their entire defensive meeting room right there, right there at
where the quarterbacks drop back.

Speaker 4 (10:57):
Yeah, Frank Steve Smith as funny as hell call the
games though, because he's still in fight mode. Steve's still
in fight mode, man, So you can tell by the
way you be talking. Yeah, I don't know if he's upset,
but he just seems like he's still mad, like, you know,
call him the game, ready to throw down, you know,

(11:19):
down with I don't know, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (11:22):
He gets feisty, like I know in the NFL Network
pregame shows, he'll get feisty.

Speaker 5 (11:27):
A little bit.

Speaker 4 (11:28):
He'll have back like would you ever be okay disagreeing
with him in person? Like I feel like, like, man,
like I really got to be ready to throw down
with with Steve if I disagree with him. Yeah, like Steve,
like I don't want to fight you because of it. Like,
I mean, I don't agree with Hey, Steve, I don't

(11:49):
fully agree with what you're saying, not not all of it,
maybe not even I mean, I don't know how much
of it. I can't say I agree with any of it, Steve.
But it's not. It's not because I got a problem
with you, my guys, just I just don't agree with that.

Speaker 2 (12:03):
I respect your opinion, sir, your opinion. Bar Yeah, I'm
all right.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
The topic gate that series to be.

Speaker 6 (12:13):
What do you have to say? What are you trying
to say? If there's any disagreement whatsoever? Like you're in
the booth and he's just he's just ready to get out.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
Oh he won't get you man. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (12:20):
Yeah, I think that the guy did a great job
of just saying, well, Steve, what do you think Steve
told his story? Okay, let's let's move off. Whether it's
right or wrong, it did better man. Steve was But
you know, I guess the reason why I thought about
him immediately was because.

Speaker 1 (12:39):
He's, like, you know, quarterback, the quarterback can't get his.

Speaker 4 (12:42):
Feet set, this, that and the other, and I mean,
he was giving some really really good critic you know,
critiques of what was taking place. I mean they were
they were collapsing and blowing the pocket up.

Speaker 1 (12:53):
I mean they were blowing it up.

Speaker 5 (12:55):
Is up.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
Yeah, they were blowing it up. Man.

Speaker 4 (12:57):
It was kind of it was it was if you
if you're a defender, it's cool to watch because I
not only saw them blowing up, blowing up the pocket.
But one thing that you'll start to see now more
and more when you watch defensive players is their technique.
The technique these days across the board is so like

(13:18):
everybody's using it. It's like you never saw every single
person using technique.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
It's like this guy's a bull rusher.

Speaker 4 (13:28):
You know he's going to get into that that gap
and he's just gonna own that gap. And you know
he's pretty strong hands and stuff like that. But you
see everybody. People are swiping, they're they're they're they're grabbing
you know, pressure points, they're they're forcing elbows, they're they're
breaking breaking wrists. It's like it's while watching defensive linemen

(13:49):
and watching them operate these days, it's pretty cool.

Speaker 1 (13:52):
It's pretty cool, like to watch the detail of it.

Speaker 2 (13:55):
Yeah, well, this it worked pretty well against the Carolina
certainly did so. Not a pleasant debut for Bryce Young
as they get shut out by the Jets, for whatever
that's worth. But it is Two Pros and a Cup
of Joe Here on the Sports Radio. It's LaVar Arrington,
Brady Coin, Jonas Knocks with you. We are going to
have the usuals coming up later on. We got another
edition of In case you missed it, We've got an
FSR IR you in or you out to close up

(14:17):
shop here an hour three a three hour wor extravaganza
again all the way up until nine am Eastern time,
six o'clock Pacific. But apparently somebody is set to return
to the NFL.

Speaker 1 (14:29):
We'll tell you who that is next.

Speaker 3 (14:31):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 2 (14:45):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Brady coinn Jonas Knox with you Here coming
up a little over twenty minutes from now, one of
the most anticipated sporting events that's been talked about in
many circles for weeks and weeks apparently has been canceled.
We'll tell you what that is.

Speaker 5 (15:03):
New.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
It involves coming up here a little over twenty minutes
from now on Fox Sports Radio. So Jonathan Taylor reportedly
is set to return to the Indianapolis Colts this week.
He's been rehabbing his ankle injury at a different facility
out of the state. Clearly still at odds with the
organization and his owner talking about how he could die

(15:24):
and Jonathan Taylor could be out of the league and
nobody would care. That probably didn't sit well. And so
now Jonathan Taylor rehabing but is set to come back
this week. That according to Shane Stike, and he doesn't
know the the exact date that he will be back,
but the Colts head coach says, you can expect Jonathan
Taylor back here in the next next few days. So
some good news there for the Indianapolis Colts and Anthony Richardson.

Speaker 5 (15:45):
I mean, what else can he do with this?

Speaker 1 (15:48):
Nothing? Yeah, I mean what else is there?

Speaker 2 (15:53):
Do you think he walks back in the facility And
I don't want to say that he feels dumb. What
do you think He walks back in and goes, well,
this is kind of a wasted time because it didn't
what did it accomplish?

Speaker 5 (16:06):
I mean, well, he has been rehabbing an ankle injury.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
Yeah, in his back, of course, his neck in his back.
But we could settle this out of court for a
jawbreaker in five dollars, you know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (16:21):
Friday Friday got uh, you know what, I'll say this
that that RPO will look a whole lot better with
him and in the backfield with with Richardson.

Speaker 1 (16:35):
You just got to play your way.

Speaker 4 (16:37):
And we talked about this last week or well the
week I was on that, not last week, but we
talked about this when all of that, those those conversations
were ensuing. Is that you just got to at this point,
you got to put your head down. You got to
put your work boots on, You got to put your
hard hat on and get your lunch pale and go
to work and and whatever it's going to be from

(16:58):
there is what it's going to be from there. Uh,
you stood your ground. You probably did not get the
results that you were hoping to get. Most likely you
didn't because we wouldn't be definitively yeah, whether we would
be talking about it if he did, or we would be,
but we would be talking about how he got what
he wanted. And now the question becomes it's just going

(17:22):
to continue to be a lingering question. It's not a
question of Jonathan Taylor. It's a question of the position.
That's going to be the lingering conversation here, whether whether
Jonathan Taylor lives up to being able to come back
to the table and say he wants more money or not,
sa Kwon, any of the other guys, any other running

(17:42):
back that you want to bring up. The bottom line
is is that this is not a conversation about Jonathan Taylor.
This is a conversation about what is the future of
that position and the value of it moving forward.

Speaker 5 (17:55):
I think if you.

Speaker 6 (17:56):
Are a running back it comes out of college, you
should be getting advice from a financial advisor, someone that
says to you, based on where you are drafted, here's
what you can expect. You are not going to get
a contract extension. It's very very rare. Those days are
days of the past, and you're probably going to have

(18:18):
a four year deal if you're lucky enough to be
drafted in the first round or be a four year
deal with a fifth year option, and most likely the
team's going to control, Like, if you do everything you're
supposed to do and you exceed their expectations, then they're
probably just going to franchise to tag you for another
couple of years. That's just that's the reality that I

(18:41):
would be preparing, like my clients, for my former players
for generally just giving them advice running backs that are
coming out of college into the NFL, because I think
that's the model of how NFL teams look at it.
They just don't prioritize the running back position the way
they used to, and they'd rather spend that money on

(19:04):
other areas on the offensive side of the ball, whether
it be the offensive line, you know, a third wide receiver,
a second tight end, a little more money to the quarterback.
I mean, that's how they're at You only have so
much of that pie under the salary cap to divvy up,
and they're just not willing to take the risk to

(19:27):
give more money to a running back position that has
as high of an injury rate as anyone else, as
short of a lifespan as it compared to any other position.

Speaker 5 (19:38):
So that's where we're at.

Speaker 6 (19:39):
I mean, I think you've I mean, nothing's going to
change unless there is some dynamic within not even the CBA.
This isn't like a collective bargaining agreement issue. I know
they talked about, you know, running back, starting their own
union or going to their like what can the union do?
This is like economics. This is how this works, you know,
loss of supply and demand. And I wonder if Jonathan

(20:03):
Taylor was motivated by the fact that Kenyan Drake immediately
signed right veteran running back who's very capable Kareem Hunt
then left the Saints to go up to Indianapolis to
get data. Contract didn't work out, And I wonder how
much of it not working out was the Colts then
playing hardball, because they talked to Jonathan Taylor and they said, hey, Bud,
what do you want to do. Do you want to

(20:24):
come back and play for us or do you want
to get you know, chipped off, traded somewhere else? Want
to keep taking on these fines that you're accruing because
if you want to come back, we won't sign cream
Hunt and we'll wipe away the fines. But we're not
giving you an extension. I would imagine the conversation went
something like that, and now Jonathan Taylor is heading back
to camp.

Speaker 2 (20:44):
It's kind of wild that if you do your job
at an important position, at a high level, you're just
not going to be rewarded long term for it. It's
not true. Wait, that's not true. But what's the where's
the contract extension?

Speaker 5 (20:59):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (21:00):
Well, the idea of it is you might not get
rewarded or awarded the long term contract that you're seeking.
I'm certain that they would have done a long term
contract with Jonathan Taylor.

Speaker 1 (21:13):
I don't even think they're open to it.

Speaker 4 (21:15):
Well, if you're not getting anywhere near the numbers that
that work for the player, then why would you even
offer anything?

Speaker 1 (21:22):
Why would you offer the floor is the franchise tag? Right?

Speaker 5 (21:26):
Well, it's kind of like Jonas used to stay back
in the day, LeVar.

Speaker 6 (21:29):
You know, it's like when when he was originally dating
you know, if you use that sort of theory that
you're throwing out there, like he wasn't going to take
the Mastros, but he'd say, well heyn go to Red Lobster. Yeah,
you know, it's not like the contract that he's looking
for in this case, it was not the restaurant the
woman was looking for, but Jonas was providing an offer.

Speaker 4 (21:52):
And they do still have the same type of dishes,
just not as different higher quality.

Speaker 2 (21:59):
I had gift cards and it was happy hour big
If now I may drive them past the mastros and say,
who knows, nobody wants to feel like maybe maybe maybe
we'll get some pretzel brand.

Speaker 4 (22:12):
They don't want to and that's what they're feeling like.
So it's a great it's a great analogy because these
running backs are feeling like cheap dates, and and why
would you want to feel like a cheap date when
you know the person that's taking you on a date
has deep pockets.

Speaker 5 (22:27):
I think I know the solution for this.

Speaker 6 (22:30):
We need Jonas Knox to get into the NFL as
a general manager or.

Speaker 5 (22:36):
He knows exactly how to handle cheap.

Speaker 4 (22:38):
You know, he's either going to pay the hell out
of the players if he were to become a GM
and control the purse strings, so to speak, or he
would be the worst, Like what do you mean this much?

Speaker 1 (22:55):
That's all you're going to get, That's all you're going
to offer?

Speaker 5 (22:57):
Like what's that dude? George just creeping in the corner.
Are you observing product?

Speaker 2 (23:01):
Are you making reference to my Sanford and Sun truck?
It's almost twenty years old talking about.

Speaker 4 (23:06):
I'm not going to I'm not going to say anything
about your your You do pull up in that bad
boy every day to say type of way too? Yeah,
that is that? That really is Fox. I even got
to wash out the red Fox. Hey, Rid, I know
you went home, but you still got one talking about

(23:29):
I'm coming home. And that's one Jonasox. That's who you
want running your football team. Although I'll bet I'd be
a lot happier than Chris Ballard is having to work
with Jim Mersy. He's got to be miserable having to
deal with jim Irsay in Indianapolis and trying to become
the new Jerry Is. He starting to try to like
really assert himself to be like the most vocal owner

(23:52):
in the NFL.

Speaker 5 (23:53):
Can I tell you when this started?

Speaker 6 (23:56):
Do you remember when he was like the most vocal
against Dan Little Danny was He was so outspoken and
then like people kind of were like, yeah, man, Jimmersy
speaking for the people, Like I think Washington fans started
to like Jim Irsay, maybe he got a few more
downloads or clicks as far as his band and some
of the songs they were.

Speaker 1 (24:14):
Singing next to the tree leads.

Speaker 6 (24:17):
Now Jimmersay is just all over the place, man, just
putting it out there.

Speaker 1 (24:21):
Yeah, I mean I would go to his concert concert.

Speaker 2 (24:27):
Why doesn't he have when they have the Combine in Indianapolis,
Why doesn't he just throw up shop, you know, a
little pop up concert right in front of Saint Elmo's
or whatever that thing?

Speaker 1 (24:35):
That would be a hell.

Speaker 6 (24:36):
I think if you if you see that there, there's
like dueling buses, right because everyone always talks about the
Cowboys bus. You know, if you see another bus roll
up and it happens to be Jim Irsays and you've
got dueling buses there at the Combine, that's when you know.

Speaker 2 (24:51):
Yeah, Labar and I were talking about yachts before the show.
I'd rather have a sweet ass bus than a yacht.
Something take you around the country, easier to take care of.
You can get to places I don't.

Speaker 4 (25:05):
I don't want to feel like I have to decide
between things that I would like to do. But I'll
say this, my time in Miami it was was amazing
and part of it was spent on a nice boat
that was could be considered long enough to be a yacht.

Speaker 1 (25:27):
I've heard about it.

Speaker 6 (25:28):
There's a lot more YACHTI of boating down there, isn't there.
I mean, like California obviously is on the water. I
just don't feel like people in California go in the
boat like that's I mean, people would make the case
like Miami, the four lott that's like the yachting capital
of the United States.

Speaker 2 (25:41):
Well, like the problem with boating in California is that
tents and sleeping bags not really floating, so.

Speaker 1 (25:47):
You gotta be careful cold. I'm just flooded. That's a fact.
I don't make the rules here.

Speaker 6 (25:54):
There's not like a bunch of inflatable you know, pool
animals and things that people aren't.

Speaker 2 (26:00):
Oh, I don't believe so now definitely, Oh they have
pool animals all right, Yeah, and not real life pool
though not not not the for fake ones, not the
blow up dips, not not anything like that, not from
toys r us not just a real monster.

Speaker 4 (26:21):
Yeah, but shots out. I'm gonna give him his props.
Man shouts out to John Beson. Man, he's a fellow. Yeah,
beast is a dope dude, man, and he wasn't even
there to go on to the to the to his
his beautiful uh, his beautiful yacht. I mean that yacht
is Can you play for the Bears?

Speaker 1 (26:38):
You know?

Speaker 4 (26:39):
Beson had a great he had a very very fine
uh pro career, obviously a U linebacker, and we always
have the the continued discussion shots out to my my dog,
Nick Menace.

Speaker 2 (26:52):
Three three time pro bowler for Beson and and all
pro as well too.

Speaker 4 (26:56):
I didn't realize that we had a we had a
really we have a really great time debating the real linebacker.

Speaker 2 (27:04):
You also, he'd never played for the Bears. Can we
take that out of the podcast?

Speaker 1 (27:07):
All right?

Speaker 4 (27:08):
Man?

Speaker 1 (27:08):
All right?

Speaker 5 (27:09):
Beast to play for Carolina and who else?

Speaker 1 (27:10):
I thought he played for the Bears, for the Giants.

Speaker 4 (27:13):
The Giants, and I think it was when they won
the Super Bowl too, right, I want to say.

Speaker 1 (27:17):
It was with Carolina. Oh yeah, this man, No, the
second Super Bowl. It wasn't right after that.

Speaker 5 (27:23):
Wait, Lee, can you just fix that in the podcast? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (27:26):
Nice, I knew he came out right after I did,
like right after I left.

Speaker 1 (27:30):
I knew he was with the Giants.

Speaker 4 (27:31):
But anyway, uh, dope, boat, I mean, and it made
it got me rethinking because you know, you guys know
I want to boat. That's like kind of my thing,
Like that's what I want as my like.

Speaker 1 (27:44):
So if our.

Speaker 4 (27:45):
Show ever like really really like goes crazy and because
of you guys, we make a whole lot of money.
While I'm sitting here like you know, you know coach
telling you guys, just give me a boat for one
of my birthday.

Speaker 2 (27:57):
You know, I know a guy in the NFL who
just made six billion dollars. He may be looking to
upgrade and he might be ready to part ways with
the one he's got.

Speaker 5 (28:05):
WoT.

Speaker 4 (28:07):
I wouldn't be able to afford the upkeep of that
moving hotel, of that little Daniel, I wouldn't. I gotta
you know, you got to live within your means.

Speaker 1 (28:16):
You have to.

Speaker 4 (28:17):
You have to look at your bank account, you have
to look at yourself, and you have to say self,
can I have a sustainable lifestyle?

Speaker 1 (28:25):
Yeah? With this.

Speaker 4 (28:27):
Massive mass of amazingness on water and I would not
be able to do it. I could rent a room,
I could I could probably purchase a room.

Speaker 2 (28:36):
I mean, you know, it sounds almost as good as
Panini Sports Trading Cards.

Speaker 1 (28:40):
I'll tell you that right. Wow, that does sound pretty good.

Speaker 2 (28:42):

why I'm mixed up and crossed the streams with John Beeson.

(29:03):
I was thinking of DJ Williams.

Speaker 5 (29:07):
He's down in South Florida.

Speaker 4 (29:08):
He's down there too. I was supposed to kick it
with him too, but he was he was on he
was on daddy duty.

Speaker 1 (29:13):
So shouts out to DJ too.

Speaker 2 (29:16):
Jas Man.

Speaker 5 (29:17):
That's one of the funniest dude.

Speaker 4 (29:18):
He's a funny dude. He can tell a story. Boy,
is that yeah? You can tell a story.

bring you in case you missed it.

Speaker 2 (32:10):
After that, we turned it over to our executive producer, Lea.

Speaker 7 (32:14):
Lap Good more than everybody. Good morning, Jonas, Good morning LeVar,
Good morning Brady. Happy Monday, everybody, guys in Casey missed this,
I was a little disappointed.

Speaker 1 (32:27):
It feels good, all right, guys, Casey missed this.

Speaker 7 (32:29):
After the show on Friday, I was a little disappointed
because it's some news came out, Hey, hey, Brady, courtesy
of Elon Musk that the fight will between him and
Mark Zuckerberg was on. It was going to be held
in Rome at the Coliseum.

Speaker 1 (32:44):
It was.

Speaker 7 (32:44):
He said he had talked to the Prime Minister of Italy,
the Minister of Culture.

Speaker 1 (32:48):
Fight was on.

Speaker 7 (32:50):
Well, come Sunday. A little cold water sprinkled all on
top of it. Mark Zuckerberg comes out and leaves this
uh this post on social media, saying I think we
could all agree Elon isn't serious and it's time to
move on. I offered a real date, Dana White offered
to make this a legitimate competition for charity. Elon won't
confirm a date and then says he needs surgery and
now asks to do a practice around in my backyard instead.

(33:12):
If Elon ever gets serious about a real date and
an official event, he knows how to reach a Mark
wants to.

Speaker 1 (33:17):
Meet his ass.

Speaker 5 (33:18):
Yeah he does.

Speaker 1 (33:19):
God was he.

Speaker 6 (33:21):
Showing up at tournaments and try to win, like jiu
jitsu tournament?

Speaker 1 (33:24):
Yeah, he was pretty good.

Speaker 4 (33:25):
I'm not going to lie. This makes me a Mark
Zuckerberg fan.

Speaker 1 (33:30):
Really.

Speaker 4 (33:31):
I mean I'm I'm all in on being a fan
of them. I mean, any dude that's calling for the
whoop ass like that, I'm all in all this up. No, No,
you guys aren't tell me. Is there something I don't
know about you?

Speaker 5 (33:43):
I don't see the social network. He basically just took
two of the dudes ideas.

Speaker 4 (33:46):
Oh yeah, I mean that's that's the American deal, you know,
take somebody else's dream and make it yours.

Speaker 1 (33:52):
You know, that's just how.

Speaker 2 (33:54):
It works to America. Nerd on nerd crime, you know,
I mean, yeah, acceptable. You know, I could give you
other examples.

Speaker 4 (34:01):
Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah, way more
heinous acts too.

Speaker 2 (34:07):
I had no interest in seeing this fight, couldn't care
lest I would have loved this scene. The problem is
the Paul brothers have have given the illusion that, oh,
if you're just famous, you can hop in there and fight.
They have an athletic background, They actually can fight a
little bit. These guys probably can't. But everyone thinks they
can get in there and square off.

Speaker 1 (34:25):
But they both can't.

Speaker 4 (34:27):
Put it like this, I don't look at either one
of them as real fighters. So so it's a good matchup,
but the fact that Mark wants to whoop his ass
so bad I want I want to see it. I
want to see that fight. Would it be like Smithers
on on Smithers Smithers who was Smithers boss, mister Burns?

(34:49):
Would it be be mister Burns all hunched over like yeah, person,
somebody who would or what they really thump? I would
really want to see that.

Speaker 2 (35:00):
And by the way, would this be it in a
certain weight class or woul they would just throw out
the weight classes because he Elon significantly bigger, right is he?

Speaker 5 (35:08):
I mean, I know he might be heavier. I don't
know if he's bigger. Is he?

Speaker 7 (35:11):
Yeah, he's he's almost half a foot taller than.

Speaker 1 (35:14):
Oh really what I'll take man tall? Yeah?

Speaker 7 (35:18):
Well, I think's like six to two in mark.

Speaker 5 (35:20):
Is he really?

Speaker 4 (35:21):
What?

Speaker 5 (35:23):
No way he was? I would have thought Zuckerberg was
a little taller.

Speaker 1 (35:27):
Uhh wow.

Speaker 2 (35:29):
Apparently you shrink when you burn and burn bridges and
screw people over, Like, apparently that's the what's happening here?

Speaker 1 (35:36):
Eddie you got it.

Speaker 2 (35:37):
Eddie's got the Eddie's got the tail, the tape on Soccerberg.

Speaker 6 (35:41):
Don't actually, I'm sorry, although I Elon has got definitely
got the heighten and the way to advantage.

Speaker 1 (35:46):
But did you say they're fighting at the Colisseum.

Speaker 4 (35:49):
They were trying to if they were like not the
l A Coliseum.

Speaker 1 (35:55):
They're still holding events at that place?

Speaker 5 (35:57):
Am I unaware of that? They?

Speaker 7 (36:00):
According to Elon, they had gotten the approval from the
Minister of Culture.

Speaker 5 (36:04):
By the way, how like, I mean out of touch
of you with reality?

Speaker 6 (36:08):
If you've got that, like, that's what you're doing in
your free time.

Speaker 2 (36:11):
By the way, who's on the undercard? Fauchi vers RFK? Like,
what are we looking at here? What does their locker
rooms look like? Can they sour after they're done? Where's
the catering? Did they got luxury boxes?

Speaker 1 (36:33):
Yet? This doesn't make any sense? What else we got? Guys?

Speaker 7 (36:40):
We're all dog lovers here. So this story is a
little tough.

Speaker 4 (36:42):
Uh.

Speaker 7 (36:43):
David Montgomery might be in some hot water him and
his girlfriend. Court documents revealed that their pitfull Lola, had
attacked their neighbor and their little small dog, which resulted
in stitches and two leg fractures. His girlfriend has pleaded
not guilty to a misdemeter account of harboring a vicious dog.
She has since posted on social media a tribute to

(37:03):
this dog, Lola, who has apparently passed away since So, yeah,
dog news there for you guys.

Speaker 1 (37:08):
Well, they're going after a dead dog, they're going after
a laugh check.

Speaker 5 (37:15):
Where do you find this stuff?

Speaker 1 (37:16):
Lee? Dead dog got met That that's Lee side ghost.

Speaker 5 (37:21):
It sounds like it'd be a TMZ article.

Speaker 1 (37:28):
This is great. Hey, Lee's doing copious research for this segment.

Speaker 2 (37:32):
But by the way, do you think do you think
if David Montgomery wasn't an NFL player, they would be
coming after him after his dog already died?

Speaker 1 (37:40):
Yes, really yes.

Speaker 4 (37:42):
But it wouldn't be on in the news, it wouldn't
be on TMZ. But the fact that you know the
reasoning and what can happen from it, it's like, how
much does that attack cost? That's that's basically what the
story is saying. How much is that attack going to costing?
You know, because it's not going to cost a girl,
it's gonna cost him.

Speaker 1 (38:02):
Pit Bulls get a bad rap man, of course they do.
You hear the name, you immediately.

Speaker 2 (38:06):
Think what I went to a danger a dog pound
one time, and they have their own area. They can't
be with the other dogs. You gotta leave pit bulls
in their own area. Oh yeah, you don't want to
go over there. That's where the pippulls.

Speaker 4 (38:18):
And you know what's crazy, it's Chihuahuas are the most
volatile dogs of them all, man. I mean they will
try to give you that work.

Speaker 1 (38:26):
Yeah. Man, I'm afraid of something. I'm afraid of her.

Speaker 4 (38:29):
Yeah, I'm afraid of chihuahuas man, and all you chihuahua
owners out there, Bro, I'm just telling you.

Speaker 1 (38:36):
Mingus was his name. Mingus and bubble Hit were their names.

Speaker 4 (38:41):
Yeah, because he had a bubble on it. It was
two little, two little little chihuahuas when I was growing up,
and Mingus was a menace. I mean, Mingus used to
get He used to get people the business brouh. Soon
as the door open, Herry Comesingus in Bubblehead.
