one o'clock in Dublin, Ireland right now where we're just at.

(01:16):
It's that time difference.

Speaker 5 (01:19):
You loved it.

Speaker 4 (01:20):
It's just it's weird because you don't know, you don't
realize start times to games are late until it's not
until the next day that they're being shown, right Like, ay, so.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Well, I was gonna say, like it was eight hours
obviously for your folks on the West Coast. But what
was odd was just like you kind of had to
communicate with folks back in the States. Like you'd wake
up and you'd get all the stuff they'd texted you
or emailed you the night before, and then you'd respond,
and then you wouldn't hear from them until the end

(01:54):
of your day where they'd get back to you with
those responses and then you'd respond and then you can
you wouldn't communicate again till the following morning.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
So there's like.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
Two windows of communication with all of civilization in America
while we were over there.

Speaker 4 (02:09):
It's like I texted my wife like early on the
first show. I sent her a picture and she's like, hey,
it's three point thirty in the morning, what are you doing?
And I didn't even because you walk into a bar
at eleven am and people are raging. I mean they're
having drinks, they're you know, tealing was there. They were

(02:29):
handing out you know, whiskey and everything else that came
along with it, and it was just the norm, like
everyone just just hanging out and let's have a drink,
and you just forget. You lose concept of time and
place and what everything is like back home. So it's
it's been a little bit of an adjustment there. But okay,

(02:50):
Notre Dame Navy. Notre Dame did show up. Sam Hartman
showed up big time, the thirty seven year old transfer
from Wake.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Come on. Is that no?

Speaker 4 (03:01):
But he looked fantastic and he is climbing the Heisman
odds boards. He is now number three behind Caleb Williams
who's at plus four p fifty who looked great as
well too, and Jade Daniels at LSU and now you've
got Sam Harvin. They're sitting there.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
I think Zachariah Branch might have stole the show there.
At Southern Cow. My god, that kid looks like the
making of like a Reggie Bush. Now he's at a
wide receiver for them, and he's a true freshman. But
I'm just watching that kid in that game. I have
not seen a kid that looks like Reggie Bush until
Zachariah Branch.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Wow, that's the first kid I've ever seen that.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
I said, that's gonna be a problem for everyone, Like,
he looks like he's just playing at a faster speed
than everyone else that's out there. But no, look, Sam
Harton was exactly what Notre Dame was hoping. He would
be that that steady, calm hand that can handle everything
at the line of scrimmage. Navy at times tried to

(04:00):
utilize an all out blitz blitz zero.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
He checked, he.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Knew where to go with the football, he knew what
he knew in the two minute drive, march right down
the field before the end of the first half. It
was all the things that you had hoped for. And
one of the reasons why I think he skyrocketed up
for the Heisman odds is for starters, he's the quarterback
of Notre Dame. That's gonna help you. But more importantly

(04:24):
is where this team is at. This team now has
been building towards a national title contender. They've been in
the playoffs a couple of times in recent years, but
everyone's kind of question based on the performance whether or
not they're able to compete with the big dogs. The
difference has been quarterback, and they've got one now that's
able to truly utilize the wide receivers on the outside,

(04:46):
like I'm telling you they've got They've got the guys,
you know, Jayden Thomas, Deon Colesey are big bodied targets
and they can do some of the football after it.
You know, Jaden Greathhouse, Rico Flores, Chris Tyree, other guys
who are mixing into have speed, the ability to make
people miss.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Like.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
They've got a nice assortment of weapons at wide receiver
that we really haven't had the ability to tap into
with the quarterbacks that have been there. And so it
opens things up in a big way because you've got
this huge offensive line that wants to mal people with
a two hundred and twenty five pounds back that's got

(05:26):
bad intentions and by the way, it's a stable of backs.
Jadeerium Price showed out first, Carrie got a touchdown run
and you're doing down the list. Jeremiah Love's got a
ton of speed out of the backfield. He got some
burn time too, So it's a dangerous combination. The only
thing coming out of the game that you're really curious
about is the defense, because Navy's such a unique attack.

(05:47):
You're not going to see if they have a pass
rush or the ability to cover down And I don't
know that they're going to see if they have the
ability to do that until they play Ohio State, which
is Week four of college football. So that game, though,
I think, you know, was one that, look, they should
have won, they should have covered. Navy's in a really
bad spot right now as a program. But it just

(06:10):
it's certified all the things that you had hoped for
out of Sam Hartman and any questions you might have
in regards to Jared Parker as an offensive play caller.
You know, coming into this.

Speaker 4 (06:20):
One, a lot of those early matchups in college football,
and you could see it at the Notre Dame Navy
game just when they lined up at kickoff, like, oh, yeah,
one team's just significantly better, bigger, it looked stronger, Yeah,
they look different athletes.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
And that's the difference of like when we travel around
the country for big New kickoff and we see like
the Michigans, the Ohio States last year, Bama Texas, like
all these different schools Oklahoma, you get a sense because
you see like the big boys and that. And that's
to me what makes the biggest difference is when you
it's two things. It's when you have the big boys
up front on both sides of the ball, and then

(06:55):
you have depth, like you're looking at dude who aren't
starting here, going, oh, that guy's going to be good.
He's gonna have a shot at the NFL. So it's
it's those two sides of the ball up front, and
then it's the speed and then you know size and
length on the perimeter, a like wide receiver in dB.
And and I'll just this isn't hyperbole. This isn't me,

(07:16):
you know, blowing one game out of proportion, because I've
got a measured approach to Navy. Navy's really struggled by
the way in opening games of the season and in
particular playing in Ireland. But this is the best as
far as team speed, size, athleticism that Notre Dame has
had since I can remember. Wow, I mean as far

(07:37):
as all those things. And it's a credit to Marcus Freeman.
It's a credit to the boys there, the development, the
weight room and all that, but recruiting specifically the young
dudes coming up like they've got some studs.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
They really do.

Speaker 4 (07:49):
And like when you're calling that West Virginia penn State game,
like this sound like West Virginia is just a nothing program.
It's a Division one program. And it's gonna be obvious
how much bigger and faster and stronger Penn State is
than West Virginia.

Speaker 6 (08:04):
Yeah, but it's a it's a great matchup because of
the familiarity factor. You know West Virginia. You know they
they borderline Pennsylvania and and it's it's called the backyard
brawl for a reason with them versus pitt They they
fight hard, they're they're they're always going to come in

(08:26):
with a tooth chipping mentality, like they they try to
play at a at a level, at a high level
that's competitive. And you know that they've always been respected
West Virginia w VU football is a very well respected program.
And even if they're not you know, high up or
tops you know, and and what it. You know, ranking wise,

(08:50):
they they always seem to have a ton of talent
on their team, and that's you know, there's always cause
for concern because that's the type of team that's good
in to win an opening game, and so you can't
take a game like this lightly, which makes it a
really really cool matchup for Penn State coming right out

(09:11):
of the gate. But I mean people are lathered up
and they are ready to go for this Penn State season. Man,
I'll tell you this might be the most pressure packed
season and probably maybe coach Franklin's entire tenure there. This
is like this is a big one, This is a

(09:31):
big year. So they he got to get one of them.
He got to clip at least O State or Michigan
this year. You got to clip one of them.

Speaker 1 (09:40):
And the tough thing is like Michigan's bill. To me,
if like you were checking all the boxes for you know,
a team that should win the national championship, you'd have.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
To say it's Michigan.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
With everything they have coming back, their soft non conference schedule,
you know, the toughest road test is going to be
Penn State at Penn State. But they get Ohio State
coming to their house. I mean, starting returning quarterback who's
a stud offensive line studs, backfield studs, experience a wide receiver,
not E eleven. On defense, I mean, it's it sets

(10:10):
up for them to make a national championship run. And
I don't even think they're favored right now to winning
the Big Ten, which is a bit surprising. Like everyone's
kind of just giving Ohio State the benefit of the doubt.
But I would say next to Michigan, a lot of
people should talk more Penn State because of all the
star players. Like I know, people are like, well, hey,

(10:32):
you got Mia Williams and Tradevon Henderson. Like well, yeah,
but you got like Singleton and Kate tron Allen too,
Like you got two beast backs of Penn State. And
let's look at the offensive line, like you're not going
to find a better offensive lineman than yeah, Like your
left tackles are going to be one of the best
in the country. By the way, there's no indecision about
who your starting quarterback is. Ohio State's still trying to

(10:55):
figure that out. Defensively too, I mean, when you start
matching up Ohio State.

Speaker 6 (10:58):
Pens statively going to be it's it's it's a rap.
Our secondary, we got one of the best secondaries in
the country. Our linebacking corps one of the best linebacking
corps in the country. Our defensive front one of the
best defensive fronts in the country. Like we're we're tops
at every level. Our secondary is sick, no flies, z
one lock down. You like it's and and I'm like

(11:21):
excited about it. Like it's been a while since I've
been really excited about, you know, going into a season
with our team. But this is this is one of
those years where you say, this could be a special year.
You got theo at at tight end, big, the big Canadian,
I mean, amazing, you know we got And then when
you talk about Drew, Drew Aller is to me and

(11:45):
I continue to say it, he is the first bona
fide franchise quarterback that we've had since Carry Collins. And
we've had some really good quarterbacks. Darryl Clark was good,
Mike Robinson, you know obviously Trace mcsword, you Cliff.

Speaker 5 (12:00):
And all those guys we've had.

Speaker 6 (12:02):
We've had some good quarterbacks in our past.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
Let me let me.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
Kind of not not to clarify, but let me like
say the other way of how I'd say what you
said is he's a guy that I look at and
I say, that's.

Speaker 2 (12:14):
A first round drafted quarterback.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
Yeah, like you guys haven't had that no since Carry Collins. Yes,
and you look at him and you're saying, like you no,
he's He's gonna be a guy we talk about here
in two years ago. Yeah, that guy's gonna be being
a top ten pick.

Speaker 5 (12:29):
Listen.

Speaker 6 (12:29):
I always say this, and I love using the terminology
franchise guy because I always say, if you look at
college football, look at where the franchise quarterbacks go to school,
no matter what the era may be. If if the
franchise guys are going to Notre Dame, Notre Dame's going
to win. If the franchise guys are going to Florida State,

(12:50):
Florida State is going to win. If they're going to USC,
USC is going to win. Like wherever you Texas. If
you see a franchise quarterback, a franchise caliber quarter back
out of high school go to a college, chances are,
especially if they get it two three classes in a row,
chances are that team is going to win.

Speaker 4 (13:08):
The fact that Franklin was able to pull him out
of Ohio, where Michigan and Ohio State were both after him.

Speaker 5 (13:14):
That's gotta be Drew Aller.

Speaker 3 (13:16):
Man.

Speaker 6 (13:17):
I'm gonna tell you, Drew Aller, you know how the
QB making his bold predictions about like guys like you
made his prediction about Caleb and all those got Liz Hometeller.

Speaker 4 (13:27):
Are you calling your shot right now?

Speaker 5 (13:28):
Drew Aler?

Speaker 4 (13:29):
Heisman Trophy?

Speaker 5 (13:30):
He's that good? Drew Aller is that good? He's that good?

Speaker 6 (13:35):
And I haven't I haven't been able to say that
confidently and feel no type of.

Speaker 5 (13:42):
To one on Draft Kings.

Speaker 6 (13:44):
Not it's not I don't know that it's a it's
not a bad It wouldn't be a bad pick.

Speaker 4 (13:48):
Because I know Trey Lance is the overwhelming favorite. But
it seems like Trey Lance or not. Why am I
saying Caleb Williams?

Speaker 5 (13:55):
What did I say?

Speaker 2 (13:56):
Jesus?

Speaker 4 (13:57):
But it seems like the people that vote want to
do whatever they can to make sure there's not a
back to back winner.

Speaker 5 (14:05):
They kind of they kind of you know, slam towards Yeah, because.

Speaker 1 (14:10):
Again, and we'll see if Caleb can do it. I
think he's got a great shot with the talent they've got.
But the only thing I worry about for Drew Aller
is with two of those backs in the backfield, it's like,
you know, they're gonna they're gonna share some.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
Of the love too.

Speaker 5 (14:25):
Oh, you know, absolutely.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
That's that's the hardest part is like with Caleb because
of how bad their defense was last year and him
scrambling around making plays and all.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
That, like it was all him.

Speaker 1 (14:37):
Like when you watch them, you're like, Okay, he's like
willing their team to win.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
I think they're gonna have so much more.

Speaker 5 (14:43):
Balance because they are balance.

Speaker 1 (14:45):
Like that might like that might take away from the
appreciation of how good he'll be.

Speaker 6 (14:49):
I think it's going to pay. I think that's going
to pay dividends for him though. I think that balance
and the big ten is going to make the difference
because he's going to make plays. Sure, he might not
have like you like what you're saying, He might not
have the statistical Yeah, he might not have the statistical showing,
but he's going to have to have some really really

(15:10):
big moments for this team to to live up to
an expectation of where you would look at Drew Aller
and be like, man, he's the man.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
So he's six ' five too. I'm telling you he's
big bed yeah, good looking. He's big Ben, but he's
he's more more refined.

Speaker 6 (15:28):
And he is cool as a cucumber man. You meet
the dude, just the cool dude you wouldn't even.

Speaker 5 (15:34):
Know like he's like that.

Speaker 6 (15:35):
He's the type of dude you'd be happy if your
daughter's dating them. That's the type of dude he is. Like,
he has that type of way about him. So I'm
really excited about it. I got some time. I got
a little bit of time with him at Avalon, the
Avalon event we did where I went a couple of
weeks back, and tell you what, man, he's a super
impressive dude, very humble dude, easy to talk to, has

(15:56):
has great feedback, you know, is present, you know, doesn't
have like that kind of standoffish or arrogance about him
where you're like, man, dude's kind of like self absorbed
or something like that. Like you just you you walk
away from him, like that's a guy that guys are
going to follow. You're going to leve him in the
locker room and he's going to come up big. He's

(16:19):
going to play big for you. And I'm I'm I'm
pretty excited about him.

Speaker 2 (16:23):
Man.

Speaker 4 (16:23):
We I mean, listen, Brady, what you're in Minnesota on
Thursday Thursday and then at Ts Colorado on Saturday's going
to be.

Speaker 5 (16:34):
A big show.

Speaker 6 (16:34):
You know, you do? It is big show on TV.
He does, Hey, he does. He's the man, big time.

Speaker 2 (16:39):
He is just trying to figure out how hot it's
going to be.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
Man, these early games, you get down the South, it's
like over one hundred degrees. You're baking, like sweating profusely.
People look at you like you're just a freaking.

Speaker 4 (16:52):
What was the game last year where Lioner was just
sweating his ass off? It was an early game?

Speaker 5 (16:59):
God was it?

Speaker 2 (17:00):
It was?

Speaker 1 (17:00):
It might have been TCU, or could have been Oklahoma,
Oklahoma one of the games it was.

Speaker 2 (17:04):
Oh no, it was Austin. It was when we were
in Texas, Texas.

Speaker 6 (17:07):
Nothing Michigan. I'm sorry, I know you're talking about the heat.
Oh that nothing nothing. Bes watching ya was in.

Speaker 5 (17:18):
That jug had me rolled it. I was like, look
at how cold they are.

Speaker 2 (17:22):
That's where, like, you know, we have an amazing wardrobe department.
But that was when we need to we need to
like brief people.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
They need to come out to these games with us,
so they're like, oh, you need those types of Long
John's because like the long John's they'll send, or like
some California stuff.

Speaker 2 (17:39):
You know. It's like it's like just an extra little
fin layer.

Speaker 1 (17:42):
Yeah you need, like I need, yeah, long job, jathrow draw.
That's right, That's right. That might look but I'll at
least be warm sitting there look bad.

Speaker 6 (17:55):
Where you get un buttoned back the.

Speaker 5 (18:02):
Real one.

Speaker 4 (18:03):
Ah. It is Two Pros and a Cup of Joe
here on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas
Knox with you. Alright, So coming up next, somebody actually
ended up coming out on the right side of a
negotiation in the NFL, and we'll explain who that is.
That's right here on FSR.

Speaker 3 (18:22):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 6 (18:38):
Oh yeah, smooth man, this a dog pound.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
Can add a little more bass to your voice with this.
You know that late night.

Speaker 1 (18:57):
Jams with Jonas knocks and you won't hear.

Speaker 5 (19:02):
This and Nate Nate, No, not a lot of this.
It does. Let's playhouse, yeah.

Speaker 1 (19:09):
Sam, Sam trying to like read the room played some
terrible like he played Cranberries and didn't play Zombie, I.

Speaker 4 (19:17):
Know, like no dropkick Murphy's no, just they were the
hits and he.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
Just which they did play Zombie in the stadiums. That
hit hard.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
That was awesome.

Speaker 4 (19:29):
It's one of the great walkout songs in the UFC.
This guy, his nickname is the Korean Zombie. What and
that's his nickname was the Korean Zombie. He comes out
to Zombie and the place is electric. He also got
knocked out. He also got knocked out this weekend.

Speaker 2 (19:46):
But how does that song go? By the way, like
the chorus, you know it goes, But how's the rest? Mbie?

Speaker 4 (20:07):
Now by the way, I don't I don't believe the
Korean Zombie was the the m M A Fighter that
Brady had a run in in Ireland.

Speaker 1 (20:16):
That guy was an m M A fighter, Like, we
we confirmed that. So that so you missed this part
of the story which I'll.

Speaker 5 (20:23):
Go into a run in.

Speaker 1 (20:25):
Huh yeah, So so we we had a run in
with a guy who was I'll just put it this way.

Speaker 2 (20:31):
He was coked out of his mind.

Speaker 1 (20:33):
Okay, and he talked and like for anyone who knows
like a fighter, whether it's a boxer or a UFC fighter,
they tend to really be like humble dudes who aren't.

Speaker 5 (20:43):
Really I don't want that pressure.

Speaker 1 (20:45):
They don't want that well one, I mean, they could
get a lot of trouble for fight because their weapons exactly.

Speaker 2 (20:51):
That's a film.

Speaker 1 (20:52):
Yeah, So this dude was all coked out and he
was first off, like, you can't it's hard to understand
some of the folks over there because they talk so fast.
And at that point in time, like the crew we
were with, we were all pretty inebriated, and so it
was just like, hey man, we're not sure what you're saying,
but let's just like buy, buy you a drink, by

(21:13):
your shot.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
Let's just settle this down. So we end up doing that.

Speaker 1 (21:17):
But the guy's talking like, oh no, no, no, no, you know,
I'm team McGregor a you guys team Diaz, blah.

Speaker 2 (21:23):
Blah blah blah.

Speaker 1 (21:23):
And we're like, okay, we're not really sure what you
mean by that what you're saying, but cool. So fast
forward to the next night, and this guy randomly finds
his way into the green room of Shane Gillis, who's
a comedian, and he's sitting there with their boys, and
I'm sitting there with them, and we're like we kind
of stand up, like all right, what's he coming in

(21:44):
here to do?

Speaker 2 (21:44):
He's trying to throw down or what.

Speaker 1 (21:46):
Well, then he's like coming in all friendly, like he
apparently he had come him off of whatever high he
was on.

Speaker 2 (21:52):
And he's like asking if his brother can come up
on all this stuff.

Speaker 1 (21:55):
So we started having some drinks and whatnot, and we
end up going out to a couple of bars, and
he was getting kind of belligerent, and it was to
the point where like we're talking to his brother, like
what's with your brother, man?

Speaker 2 (22:05):
And he's like, yeah, I don't know, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (22:08):
And so we finally the first bar we walk up to,
he's trying to talk us out of going to this bar,
and I guess.

Speaker 2 (22:13):
It's because he's got a bad reputation there.

Speaker 1 (22:16):
And so I go inside and I'm shy at Shane's
inside and one of the other comedians had stayed back, Aaron,
and I guess the bouncer was like, no, dude, you
can't come in here, you know that, And he tried his.

Speaker 2 (22:27):
Mouth he started of mouth off to him. I guess this.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
This older bouncer like just flat foot and stood there,
punched him square in the face, busted up his nose,
face everything. He's the dude's gushing blood, falls back like
down like into the street almost and like kind of
runs off and then he's like trying to like fight
him from like fifty feet away, like talking to him.

Speaker 2 (22:50):
And then so that was the end of it. You've
never seen the guy since. But so after all of that,
we're like, yeah, that dude didn't fight in the UFC. Dude,
We're not sure what he like, what he was claiming,
what he did, but he just wanted to be a
part of the crew.

Speaker 4 (23:02):
Team Tim mcgega, your team, Diaz, My face.

Speaker 6 (23:07):
Hurts hitting bat now Yeah brokenne so yeah harder.

Speaker 2 (23:13):
I looked like.

Speaker 4 (23:15):
Ski Yeah, skiing a little bit harder.

Speaker 5 (23:19):
Yeah. Well, he punched him in his mouth, Oh broke.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
It was like by the way, it was like a
rock him, sock him doll, you know, like it was
like a square just like and it just knocked the
dude flat out, gushing everywhere.

Speaker 5 (23:31):
That was so funny.

Speaker 4 (23:32):
Yeah, well he didn't have as good of a weekend
as Josh Jacobs did though, I'll tell you that. Oh
and we've been talking about that on this show for
a what what what's gonna happen with Josh Jacobs and
and the Raiders here on two pros and a cup
of Joe And apparently Josh Jacobs is going to get
himself a little bit of a bump. Not the bump,
not the bump that the guy who was getting knocked out, Yeah,
got the hell out in Dublin was getting previous to

(23:54):
the all not that Brady and Crew. But Josh Jacobs
gets a one year deal worth up to twelve million dollars.
He is back, He's in Las Vegas is back. Yeah,
he's excited to be back for the Las Vegas Raiders.
So did he change his jersey numbers? So what is
he rocket number eight now instead of twenty eight? Is
that the is that the move? There was some some

(24:16):
stuff out there about that be.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
Like a taller player to weear eight.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
Man, it's not a very flattering number if you're not tall,
like if you're like a smaller squatty guy.

Speaker 2 (24:23):
It kind of makes you look kind of big.

Speaker 4 (24:25):
Yeah, but by that I thought that was wasn't that
Carlson the Kickers number? Maybe did he switch numbers that?
Who cares? The point is Josh Jacobs is back. He's
he's the Raiders running back again for twelve million dollars
and a lot of money. Hey, it opens him back up,
maybe gets tagged next year, and he's got the possibility
of making you know, more money next year. But not

(24:49):
not the most ideal situation. I'm sure he wanted a
long term deal, but twelve million dollars considering the market,
not a bad thing for Josh Jacobs either.

Speaker 1 (24:56):
No, I mean, look, the reality is I thought both
Saquon and Josh Jacobs did as good as they could
have in the scenario. And for Josh Jacobs, you know,
kudos to him for utilizing the leverag he has. You know,
some fans may not like it, but until you sit
out preseason training camp and kind of show them what
life's like without you and really threatened going into the

(25:18):
regular season without you.

Speaker 2 (25:19):
There's nothing else you can do.

Speaker 1 (25:21):
And so at least in this case, you got a
little bit more money to come back and play and
hopefully you know, there'll be more for him on the
other side after another really good season. But look, you
feel for running backs and you know Mark Ingram was
on the Fox broadcast last night talking about it. There's
not really much the running back running backs can do.
I mean, it's not like the GMS and these franchise

(25:43):
are going to come to like, oh, you know what,
we feel bad if you're going.

Speaker 2 (25:45):
To pay you more. That doesn't happen in the NFL.

Speaker 1 (25:49):
And so it's going to take a push somehow from
the Union, which I would imagine they've got too many
other things they're preoccupy with the focus on that, and
so it really then has to come from the players
and has to come from a creative thought process from
other players or quarterbacks to someone who's willing to be
able to, I mean, say what you want. But like

(26:09):
Aaron Rodgers took less in his deal this year, that
did open up space for Dalvin Cook and what he
was able to sign.

Speaker 2 (26:17):
So it's I said it before, no different than the
New York Giants and Daniel Jones.

Speaker 1 (26:21):
If they want to pay Sakuon more, thought Daniel Jones
a step up and take less. But there's not too
many players who are going to say like, yeah, I
just signed my big deal.

Speaker 2 (26:30):
I'm not taking less to get to some other guy.

Speaker 5 (26:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (26:34):
Well, listen, good for the Raiders, and I feel like
they're graduating past a mediocre team and who's had a
mediocre off season to a team that's now graduated towards
Maybe there's being a little bit of hope there in
Las Vegas for those Raiders. Speaking of graduating, graduate hotels
or college game Day headquarters the perfect place for a
watch party, enjoy game day. Graduate Hotels thirty three locations,

(26:58):
then say thirty percent with the code two pros. That's
two pros at Graduatehotels dot com. That's the number, two pros,
two pros at Graduatehotels dot com. All right, two pros
and a cup of Joe. Here on Fox Sports Radio
and right now, it is time for the Progressive Play

Hand Lotions Soft hand lotion, what's wrong with that? Baby bottom?

Speaker 5 (28:01):
Soft?

Speaker 4 (28:01):
My hands were dry. I was on a plane for
ten hours. Yeah, I just don't even like the way
you open the container though. It's like so soft hand.

Speaker 2 (28:10):
It's feminine. Just call what it is.

Speaker 6 (28:12):
It's soft hand, you know, a soft hand way of
going about putting your lotion on your hands. Because I
worked that work with my hands.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
It bothered me.

Speaker 1 (28:22):
Was Jonas would not like people would buy us around
or buy us Againess Jonas would not partake in it,
which is like kind of especially.

Speaker 4 (28:33):
I drink a guiness that Joe Mont.

Speaker 2 (28:36):
Another guy was nice enough to buy us around to
you didn't even touch that.

Speaker 4 (28:40):
But that guy had the hat on all right, So
let me let me know because this, okay, the guy
who bought us the round of drinks Lee and I
saw him later that night at a bar, at a
pub or whatever they call him, at a pub in Dublin,
and he said, I believe I bought you guys a beer,

(29:01):
And I said that's right, and I recognized him from
a Yeah.

Speaker 5 (29:05):
So I did.

Speaker 4 (29:06):
I bought him a beer and he said, I think
I might have made Brady mad earlier today. And I
was like, why is that? And he said that he
asked you. He goes, hey, was your knee really down?
And I think it was again into USC or something.

Speaker 1 (29:21):
Oh no, no, no, I wasn't mad about it.

Speaker 2 (29:23):
We were on live radio and.

Speaker 1 (29:25):
And people think because like nowadays, everyone thinks everything's a podcast.
So he like he walked up started talking to me,
and I was like trying to put my my headset
on and I was just like yeah.

Speaker 2 (29:36):
I was like, I'm I'm I'm on We're on live air.
You think it was I was like, dude, what do
you understand about this?

Speaker 5 (29:43):
Like, I'm live.

Speaker 1 (29:46):
We're like like right now people can maybe hear you,
and I no one wants that, like so anyway, yeah,
definitely wasn't mad at him, but it was like not
the time to have a conversation when we're back on
live radio.

Speaker 4 (30:00):
I mean, but he was good after it, so you know,
he was you know, but.

Speaker 1 (30:03):
We're on live right, But again, you end up having
to pay for a drink that you never really received
because you didn't drink the one you buy you.

Speaker 5 (30:10):
That's kind of wild.

Speaker 4 (30:12):
You know, I'm more of a giver and undertaker. Whoak
talking about drinks? Damn, hey, I split the g.

Speaker 5 (30:24):
Yeah I did.

Speaker 4 (30:24):
You didn't the Lord Mayor of Dublin. I gave us
that Guinness. I knew what his name was, the last
name of everyone's tracking at all, Jonas. Yeah, but we
did see him a couple of times. But yeah, listen,
it was a good time for all. But here's what
else is a good time for all? What else is
a good time? The fact that coming up next year

(30:45):

it's just hard hardcourt.

Speaker 4 (34:17):
Yeah, Lee's on like an hour sleep and he's going
to the lake right after the show.

Speaker 2 (34:21):
Well, be carefully, you know, detox, Lee, not what you
were planning on doing.

Speaker 10 (34:26):
I know I made it all the way through no
problems in Dublin, but like now, my body knows the
party's over.

Speaker 4 (34:32):
And Friday LeVar line up line of the trip was Friday,
We're waiting for the cab to go to the show
in the morning, and we're just kind of talking, Hey,
what'd you do last night? And Lee just says, got
into that whiskey when I got back to the room,
like this old school alcoholics term. Just got into that

(34:53):
whiskey a little bit when I got back to the road,
just got it banged up.

Speaker 11 (34:57):
They gifted us some nice whiskey bottles. Nobody else wanted
to take it, okay, so you took them I couldn't.

Speaker 5 (35:04):
Fit them all in the bag.

Speaker 2 (35:08):
It is really good whiskey.

Speaker 4 (35:09):
It is tealing, tealing.

Speaker 5 (35:11):
Maybe it's smooth, all right? Nice? What else we got?

Speaker 3 (35:15):
Uh?

Speaker 5 (35:16):
Happy birthdays out to Jack Black?

Speaker 2 (35:17):
And I mean, is that what this is turned into?

Speaker 5 (35:23):
Jack Black?

Speaker 2 (35:24):
Like? This is are you in or are you out?
Is it not?

Speaker 5 (35:26):
It is are you in?

Speaker 2 (35:27):
The rout? We're giving an option to be in or out.
You just say, Hey, it's so and so's birthday.

Speaker 5 (35:32):
Are you out on?

Speaker 1 (35:33):
I'm in on both, but I've been on everyone's birthday.
We get a rate on someone's birthday.

Speaker 6 (35:40):
I'm just saying I'm in on Shania Twain for certain,
But Jack Black has made me laugh and not Joe Lee.

Speaker 5 (35:49):
I'm just saying lack of like Twains.

Speaker 4 (35:55):
Jack Blacks and shallow Howe Right, yes, yeah, what are
you trying to say? I just feel like that you're
getting it. I feel like that movie probably couldn't be made.

Speaker 2 (36:04):
Not now what was the movie he was in? Was it?
I forget the name of it? With Tomas Son? No, no, no,
he plays like his brother Orange County, Orange County.

Speaker 1 (36:14):
What you got to be drug testing? That's that's one
of his better roles. He's try to score some check
it out. I've never seen this try to score some.

Speaker 2 (36:23):
Clean urine from his brother.

Speaker 5 (36:25):
For his You got a poor rass, that's right, a
poor rattet.

Speaker 2 (36:36):
That's a good one.

Speaker 5 (36:37):
What else, Lee, I don't know.

Speaker 6 (36:39):
I've lost bow ties. You guys in around on bow ties.
I'm out because I have a Pinocchio hit. I have
the type of hit where you could put my eyes
on my forehead and it would look exactly the same
if you flip my hit around. What is just like
one of those hits that you could put my mouth

(37:01):
and nose and flip it like the opposite direction, put
my eyes on the and put my hair on my
where my chin would be, and and my top of
my head would look like.

Speaker 5 (37:12):
My chin if you flip my head around.

Speaker 4 (37:14):
You mean mister potato head or Pinocchio.

Speaker 6 (37:15):
It's the same thing. Potato head Pinocchio. It's like it's
kind of different. I mean it was an egg.

Speaker 2 (37:23):
What was a crower? Dang?

Speaker 6 (37:26):
If you like, that's Pinocchio, Yeah, Poco potato head. Oh yeah,
that was the one that.

Speaker 5 (37:36):
Sat on the wall.

Speaker 2 (37:38):
That's Humpty dumpty.

Speaker 5 (37:39):
Yeah, I meant humpty dumpty it's five fifty four. That's
all good. Bad. I'm bad for taking down the long nose.

Speaker 2 (37:47):
How bad?

Speaker 5 (37:48):
I meant to go to the to the potatoes and
the eggs.

Speaker 6 (37:52):
Yeah, we actually have to humpty dumpty. Yeah that's great,
a humpty dumpty head. I'm out on bow ties because
my head is too big and I don't have enough
of a neck, so to wear a bow tie would
would be like not flattering for me. Yeah, they're not
gothic enough. I'm out as well.

Speaker 2 (38:10):
Oh jeez, it'll sell the hot Maryland.

Speaker 4 (38:15):
Yeah, there's no Marilyn Manson bow ties.

Speaker 5 (38:17):
Yeah, I'm not what else we gotate?

Speaker 10 (38:20):
I found some barbecue chicken pizza in my fridge. You
guys in there barbecue chicken.

Speaker 5 (38:24):
It's way too long since I like barbecue chicken. That
like all chicken chicken.
