I just don't feel like it's the best walking song
to a show. Like minor Bangers. Every I roll up

Bank with you man, your song stink again.

Speaker 5 (01:26):
I would literally I think I I'd rather have someone

You were going to say, DS, No, you know, I'm
I'm so juiced up off of coffee right now, guys, Like,
I don't know if y'all can tell that. Like I've
been like talking a little faster because I have a
slow draw, But I've been talking a little faster. I've
been trying to put and you appreciate this cube?

Speaker 4 (02:33):
Is this a life read? No?

Speaker 5 (02:35):
But I've been trying to put together that's next.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Together my game board man, and see you know that's
an interesting process to put together a game board.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Game boards.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Yeah, oh yeah, it's it's interesting.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
So I've been doing that the last three days and
last night got real because I really like to be
a perfectionist about doing things, you know.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
So yeah, now, why why are you coffee?

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Why are you putting together your game boards? Is there
something going on this weekend?

Speaker 3 (03:11):
I'm calling I'm calling the PSU w VU game Damn right. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:14):
We were giving PSU a lot of love last Yeah.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
Nice.

Speaker 5 (03:17):
Yeah, we'll continue to Man, I'm excited. I thought I
can't wait for this.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
I thought the Stick City feature was going to run
on your show, But apparently it's running on the on
a what the Tailgate show on the Big Big ten network,
So it's not going to even though they're you know,
Fox related affiliated. But I was hoping it would be
on y'all show man. But yeah, it is what it is.

(03:43):
But I'm excited to see.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
It, you know.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
Yeah, but I feel like stick City was represented on
that show when you gave that woman from Iowa the.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
Stick City stiff.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
Yeah, the stick City Stiffy what they call it. That's
what we will call that forever. It will be affectionately
known as could get.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
For something else.

Speaker 5 (04:06):
That sounds like a guy who's gonna get uh get
the cops called on him.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
Exposure.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
That's a very it's a very nerve wracking moment too.
By the way, I don't know.

Speaker 5 (04:17):
French coat just constantly flashing people, That's what it sounds like.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
And then you're just you'll just change it to stiff city,
you know, just cut out the middle man.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Stick city, stiffy, you know, stick stiffy, Siffy City.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
See, you can brand this thing a lot of different ways.

Speaker 4 (04:35):
Man, there's there's three ones. You just have to look
for it, you know.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
Damn.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
Now from from from all of that to this story
in the NFL, which I don't know, I feel like
this probably happens a little bit more than people want
to discuss. But apparently Aaron Rodgers and Jihad Ward of
the New York Giants not a lot of love loss there.
This was featured on Hard Knocks, which is probably why
this story turned into anything whatsoever. But Aaron Rodgers was

(05:06):
upset about what he perceived to be a late push
in a preseason game against the Giants and jahod Ward.
And jahod Ward was upset because he felt like the
New York Jets were laughing at one of his teammates
in the huddle because one of his teammates got cracked
by Randall Cobb and ended up going into concussion protocol.

(05:26):
So apparently the Giant Sideline and jehad Ward they were
all upset about it. Rogers was asked about it yesterday
saying I think he's making bleep up, etc. Etc. So
that whole back and forth played out. Jahad Ward pointed
out that Rogers is their guy. They're going to showcase him,
he's the star, so on and so forth, which led

(05:47):
to Rogers discussing the fact that, yeah, they've probably got
a target on their back. There's some jealousy going on
in New York, which is kind of interesting considering this
team's finished last in their division six of the last
seven years. And yes, they do have a target on
their back, which is which is kind of wild to
think about because normally that that's that's left for Super Bowl

(06:08):
champions and everybody else, and apparently that's where the Jets
are at at this point.

Speaker 5 (06:12):
Hey, Sam, do you want to you want to partake
at this conversation. We're having a great text conversation right now.
About Uh, just the people involved in all this. I
think he's a little scared.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
Yeah, we're just you guys. You guys are the host here.
Just take it away. What happened? Well, no problem? Is
it the name of the Giants player?

Speaker 3 (06:29):
Dude? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (06:30):
Yeah, he's a little upset and a little concerned about
the Uh who would name your kid that? First off,
he was born in nineteen ninety four, so it was
before a terrible event.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
What's wrong with the name jahad Ward? Which are that?
I get it?

Speaker 3 (06:47):
It's just.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
Yep, I mean it's j I h jahad Ward. Don't
understand what Sam? What do you? What were you getting
out there? What are you talking about? What?

Speaker 4 (07:00):
I mean?

Speaker 5 (07:00):
It's it's a valid question, like do you I mean,
it seems like there could be some controversy.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
There, Sam, what do you? What's the problem here? Nothing?

Speaker 3 (07:10):
Nothing?

Speaker 4 (07:12):
He's so mad at me right now.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
Some things are best left off. Who I listened?

Speaker 4 (07:18):
Are you gonna have to dumb yourself? That is that
you're afraid of?

Speaker 6 (07:20):
Sam?

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Not yet?

Speaker 4 (07:21):
All right?

Speaker 2 (07:21):
You know what, there's a lot of people listening who
are probably thinking the same thing, like, hey, you know,
make sure you pronounce a jihad Ward and not you
don't you really emphasize at the end, No double's there,
no double. Yeah, you gotta be gotta be careful.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
I mean, everybody knew what you were. What's being insinuated?

Speaker 2 (07:41):
No I don't. I don't know what's being insinuated right now.

Speaker 5 (07:43):
Oh, come on, Sam, we're gonna be adults here.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
Listen. I love word and nameplay, and so I'll just leave.

Speaker 3 (07:50):
It at that.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
So oh okay, I mean, what are you getting so
up tired about?

Speaker 7 (07:55):
Yeah, dude, it's the old term what's in a name?
It's just not my business to question that.

Speaker 4 (08:02):
It's all right, at least probably gonna tell EU someone's
birthday today.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
Let's go birthdays.

Speaker 5 (08:09):
In all honesty, I found Sam's question much more entertaining
as to like, why are you gonna.

Speaker 3 (08:15):
Name your kid? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (08:17):
I mean, but in all seriousness, I find it more
entertaining than I actually did.

Speaker 4 (08:20):
The subject well said it best.

Speaker 5 (08:23):
The only reason this is a topic of conversation is
because it was on hard knocks, Like trash talk happens
all the time. Come back from Aaron Rodgers. I literally
had mark Ingram. We were talking about that Yesterday's like yeah,
He's like I said that to a player, Like, it's
not the first time someone's been like, oh, I don't
know you.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
To some guy last year.

Speaker 5 (08:42):
It's just to me, I'm like, the season can't get
here soon enough. Hard Knocks has gone so over the top,
leading so hard on Rogers. They've gotten away from what
makes that show great, and unfortunately it's it was by
the direction of the Jets, because because look, what makes
it great is survival. Like you, you love seeing the

(09:07):
guys who are on the cut line, their stories behind them,
who they were, guys who are obscure, and the pressure
and the intensity of whether or not they can make
the team. And the Jets don't want to do that.
They didn't want to it's inhumane to, you know, put
players and say is it You kind of sign up
for it and you get drafted in the NFL, Like,
you know what, no one's ever said to me it

(09:29):
was inhumane. While we watched you sit in the draft
room for five hours to be drafted. No one's ever
mentioned that once in a while, it was inhumane. You
were like a gerbil in, like a little glass jar.
As you went to be drafted. Everyone's watching with you.
It's like, okay, but that was what made Hard Knocks
great was the drama behind that, like the human element

(09:51):
of just complete you know, collapse when it didn't work out,
when the player gets cut and that's extream goes bye bye,
or the dream of making the scene and the jubulation
that comes from that. Now they're just kind of leaned
on like content like hey, who's the biggest star?

Speaker 3 (10:09):
All right?

Speaker 2 (10:11):
And and viral clips.

Speaker 5 (10:14):
It's like whatever we could do to go viral and
may try to get people to watch.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
I swear to god, I didn't watch one second of
Hard Knocks after the first episode, not once, like, and
had no interest whatsoever. So the only thing I know
about Hard Knocks is what goes viral like this or
what people talk about afterwards. That's why when they were
having such a hard time finding teams to even want
to be a part of this, that they had to
groove it in a way that the Jets would be

(10:38):
it would deem acceptable, it's arable, it's over, just like like,
let's move on. They had a great run.

Speaker 4 (10:44):
Let's change the name, go from hard Knocks to Jonas Knocks.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
Yes, yes, oh.

Speaker 1 (10:52):
He's from Philly by the way, who Sam so your
insinuation is actually one thousand percent accurate.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
Who's from Philly? Is okay?

Speaker 3 (11:04):
War Jay Ward? Yeah yeah, and it's accurate.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
What what what what? The insinuation it was is actually
it's it's accurate. I don't I don't know about Philly
and you know about Philly culture. You know, that's the
I don't know what.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
You're talking about.

Speaker 3 (11:22):
I'll move on. I'll move on from it.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
I mean, just I feel like this.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
Is a very very strong faith and in Philadelphia.

Speaker 3 (11:31):
Yeah, so there you go.

Speaker 2 (11:33):
Yeah, I mean, listen, I don't know what we did.

Speaker 3 (11:36):
If y'all were questioning why.

Speaker 4 (11:37):
Why could we get a Rocky drop there?

Speaker 3 (11:39):
Sam?

Speaker 4 (11:39):
You don't have any Rocky in there? And we're talking
about philip Philadelphia.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
Yeah yeah, I just I don't want to contribute.

Speaker 3 (11:45):
I don't know. I don't know.

Speaker 8 (11:47):
I don't know what we did wrong. He was I
can't win on this subject, all right. It was just stupid.
I was thinking about and I texted Brady.

Speaker 3 (12:00):
Whytext meant to.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
Sam?

Speaker 3 (12:05):
Why you ain't text me?

Speaker 2 (12:06):
Huh yeah, I didn't get that. Just stop it, Sam.

Speaker 3 (12:11):
Here's you know, my middle name is Rashot.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
Sam. Here's here's what you're gonna learn about this show.

Speaker 1 (12:17):
Here's oh, it plays into a very very seamlessly believe
you me.

Speaker 3 (12:25):
Look up what my name represents.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
Here's what you're gonna find out about this show. Anything
on the text chain is probably gonna get brought up
on the A.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
All right, so a s H A d any.

Speaker 7 (12:37):
Listen, my last name is Kinsley, and in German it
just means the guy who follows the horse set of
circus and cleans up the poop, so you know different things.

Speaker 3 (12:45):
My name means bearer of truth and it's Islamic, so just.

Speaker 4 (12:49):
I've got Arabic.

Speaker 3 (12:50):
Yeah, says good, good judgment. There you go, bearer of truth.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
I mean again, I don't know what's wrong with jihad Ward.
Why we're siding with Aaron.

Speaker 1 (13:00):
There's nothing wrong with jahij Ho was was was fighting
for his his teammates, prize teammates.

Speaker 3 (13:07):
Yeah, that's all.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
And and and a Rott was feeling a little frisky
in the moment, that's all. That was feeling a little frisky, like, hey,
cut that bs out, young pup, be pushing on me.

Speaker 3 (13:19):
I don't be running into me like that. I'm one
of the goats out here.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
But less touching on Me Lesson learned Sam.

Speaker 3 (13:26):
The New York Jets, Baby anything.

Speaker 2 (13:28):
On a text, James probably gonna end up on the
air on this show.

Speaker 3 (13:31):
I mean to Brady, Brady going, whoa.

Speaker 2 (13:36):
Damn secret?

Speaker 5 (13:39):
I just found it more entertaining than talking about Aaron Rodgers.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
I basically threw out a bag of crap and somehow
we made a meal out of it.

Speaker 7 (13:49):
So it's all good producers coming out right now, So.

Speaker 4 (13:57):
All off for a second.

Speaker 5 (13:58):
You all don't fight it interesting though, when you like
hear a kid's first name, you're like, what in the
hell were their parents thinking?

Speaker 2 (14:05):
Yeah, you're never there's.

Speaker 1 (14:07):
A I mean, there's a few names out there that
are super easy to go there, you know.

Speaker 4 (14:14):
I mean there's some interesting ones where you're like, all right,
there are that mean.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
But I will continue to bring this up. What's in
the name? That's this phrase I always go back to,
like it's in the name. Case in point, Brady's dad
and my brother their name is Tyrone.

Speaker 1 (14:30):
I think that is amazing, And you got to yourself like,
I mean that's like a cultural name.

Speaker 3 (14:40):
It's a culturally driven name, like culture. I think it's black.

Speaker 9 (14:47):
It actually, I would Cooper from County shop in Northern Ireland.
Chapel with a U N not an eer.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
Y'all say Chopper, y'all say Chopple Tyrone nickname Choppa. If
you saw Chopper in real life after you heard Tyrone
Chopper Quinn, you might get it off of Quinn. But
I'm just telling you right now, I don't think so.
You might think he's from Jamaica. Man, I'm just being
honest with you.

Speaker 3 (15:22):
Man, I mean, I'm.

Speaker 4 (15:23):
Just telling you. The original origin is from Northern Ireland.

Speaker 3 (15:26):
Love it.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
I told you we're all micked.

Speaker 3 (15:28):
We're all connected some way somehow. Believe that.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
I told you. Guys are theory on why they My
parents named him Tyrone?

Speaker 10 (15:36):
Right?

Speaker 3 (15:36):
Why did they name him Tyrone?

Speaker 2 (15:38):
My dad's middle Milkman. No, my dad's middle name, my.

Speaker 3 (15:43):
Dad my dad nothing like you, Jonas.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
No, my dad's middle name is Willis. And so we
thought maybe it was some revenge like I had to
wear that my entire life. Here you go, how's Tyrone?

Speaker 3 (15:54):
Serv Hey? Was it Tyrone? The dads are on Fame? Well?
Why look up the original Fame cast? Bro? You ever
watch Fame. I'm gonna leave forever.

Speaker 4 (16:08):
All right, LaVar If I give you this name, Lavell.

Speaker 5 (16:12):
Okay, all right, yeah, give me the orders of that one.
How would you describe who this? What that guy looks like?

Speaker 11 (16:19):
Black so Lavell Edwards, Lavell Edwards, the running back right, No,
the coach, the legendary coach, the.

Speaker 3 (16:30):
Coach whether they're running back named Lavelle Edwards. I'll look
at capital is the v capital last?

Speaker 2 (16:40):
Lee's probably got in law.

Speaker 3 (16:41):
Name, got it? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (16:48):
No, good you No, I was just waiting for Jonahs
to Like every time Jonahs gets this chiming with somebody,
they just fly to the radar.

Speaker 4 (16:55):
Just you let it sit there?

Speaker 2 (16:56):
What do you mean?

Speaker 4 (16:57):
Sit there in silence?

Speaker 2 (16:58):
I can't talk about Lee's in laws name Lavelle. There's
nothing wrong with that, It's okay. I just yeah, I
think we've I think I always say im A steered
us into a ditch, and it's it's the top off
of a can of worms.

Speaker 4 (17:11):
Here.

Speaker 5 (17:11):
That a great conversation, great conversation. D Brown, Hey LeVar,
check your text. Tell me tell me this looks like
the name you're just thinking of.

Speaker 2 (17:26):
No, no, yeah, no, that's that's a little different.

Speaker 1 (17:33):
YEA be thinking about but not bang witting because we
both got a capital L and a capital V in
our first day.

Speaker 3 (17:43):
That's out.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
That'll go ahead, and our coverage would be Jets and
Giants preseason game.

Speaker 3 (17:52):
To wash LeVar means to wash, so that's Spanish in
the aar.

Speaker 1 (17:56):
To watch to wash, oh wash LeVar lo love r.

Speaker 3 (18:04):
They're just watching herrectly. Stay in your lane. Yeah, I
will thank you, all right, but hey, do the same sound.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
I mean, if you loved h if you love this
football conversation, you're gonna love Saturday. Because football fans, be
sure to tune into Fox Sports Radio every Saturday and
Sunday morning three hours before kickoff or Countdown to Kickoff,
presented by bet MGM. They'll have you covered right before
kickoff all on Saturday and Sunday games all the way
through Super Bowl Sunday, and you can listen to Countdown

(18:33):
to Kickoff weekend mornings right here on Fox Sports Radio
and on the iHeartRadio app. All right, so coming up
next here, a team has made a decision. All right,
So one team's made a decision, but there's another that
we're waiting for as we get set for a big
time matchup in Week one of the NFL season. We'll
tell you what that is next.

Speaker 12 (18:54):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar ering to
and and Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three
am Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio,
LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you. Coming up
in twenty minutes from now, We'll have another edition of
over Unders. That's a Friday tradition and it is yours
here again, coming up about twenty minutes from now from
the tiraq dot Com studios. The Cleveland Browns have made

(19:29):
a decision. And the Cleveland Browns have made this decision
while their Week one opponent, the Cincinnati Bengals, are awaiting
to make their decision. So the Cleveland Brown's decision at
quarterback was that Deshaun Watson, favorite of this show, is
now a team captain there in Cleveland and his head coach.

Speaker 3 (19:50):
Kyle Watson is his captain now is right? Good for him?

Speaker 2 (19:55):
So Kevin Stefanski talked about the decision for the Brown's
to vote massage. What I mean Deshaun Watson a team captain.
Let's listen to Stefanski.

Speaker 4 (20:07):
I've said it before.

Speaker 13 (20:09):
Leadership comes in all different styles, and it comes in
different shapes and sizes, and you vote for captains and
it is really important. We also have a leadership committee
and we have players represented from every position there, so
you don't need that, see to determine that you're a leader. Now,
having said that, these players voted for those guys, and

(20:30):
you know Deshaun in particular because you asked the question.
But DeShawn, that's very, very natural for him to lead,
and I think he's comfortable leading from out in front.
I think he's comfortable from leading and letting his teammates
get credit. And that's just something that he's always done
his whole life. And just the way he's integrated himself
into this football team is impressive to watch.

Speaker 2 (20:50):
So congratulations.

Speaker 3 (20:52):
If you chuck, you should I shouldn't be laughing.

Speaker 1 (20:55):
But if you think about the whole stuff he went
through and you apply it like he likes the lead
from the front, you know, I mean, he's a he's
a great leader. You know. It's kind of like it
kind of sounds weird. It sounds weird listened to it.

Speaker 5 (21:14):
You know, do you know when he became captain? Do
you just know when they signed to a two undred
and thirty million fully.

Speaker 3 (21:20):
Years you think the contract?

Speaker 4 (21:24):
Yeah, that was that was what it kind of is. Okay,
this guy's gonna be captain.

Speaker 2 (21:28):
I mean the fact that Stefanski's gotta sit there for
fifty seconds or whatever it is and explain the reasoning
behind him being a captain. And I ought to tell
you that nobody's ever going to look at the Shan
Watson the same ever again after what happened, you know,
I mean.

Speaker 1 (21:44):
You don't think you guys don't think honestly, like we
make light of it, but you guys don't think that.
It's like it's kind of gone by now like you.
I mean, I know, he'll get heckled because that's that's
just what fans do.

Speaker 3 (21:57):
Fans are It'll always follow.

Speaker 1 (21:58):
Him, Yeah, but what what will fall on him?

Speaker 4 (22:03):
Fall on him? It will follow him.

Speaker 3 (22:06):
Oh, it'll always follow him.

Speaker 2 (22:07):
Yeah, yeah, I mean if it was a one time thing,
I get it. Like a lot of people don't bring
up Robert Kraft or at least as much.

Speaker 1 (22:16):
As it's coming. A lot of different shapes. I started
thinking about massage massage therapist Jodas.

Speaker 2 (22:23):
We're talking like sixty to one hundred different therapists here.
That's a lot.

Speaker 3 (22:28):
It's a lot of leaders.

Speaker 2 (22:29):
That's a fetish.

Speaker 1 (22:30):
That is a lot of leaders, a lot of leaders
that like to If he would have said if coach
TFASKI would have said, yeah, Deshaun likes to lead from
all directions, like from the front too. But if he
would have said from the back, I might have failed
the hell out. I might have not been able to
finish the segment. I might have fell out. I'm just
saying somebody would have had to.

Speaker 2 (22:50):
Come get You're a professional, that would happen.

Speaker 1 (22:53):
I'm just saying he likes to leave from the front
and from the back I would have been I would
have been done.

Speaker 3 (22:59):
I would have.

Speaker 2 (23:00):
It's just just yeah, I just don't think this is
ever going to escape him. And and when he's when
Stefanski started, well, you know, he likes it when other
people get credit and all that, like, I just what's
wrong with you? What's the matter with you?

Speaker 3 (23:20):
He does.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
That's why that's why he likes the variety, because he
likes for other people.

Speaker 2 (23:26):
To get there, so I mean that is uh, that's
where we're at with the with the Cleveland Browns. And yeah,
had he not been named team captain, I think that
also would have been a bigger story here because what.

Speaker 1 (23:41):
All seriousness, all seriousness fellas like, do you guys think
he's going to have a dope season?

Speaker 3 (23:46):
Do you think that the Browns? I do I have
a dope season.

Speaker 5 (23:50):
I think he'll be much better than what we saw
in the six game span last year. And and look,
I know the Browns are hoping and they think he
will be much better than that. You know, when I
talked to people there, there was hey, he's a top
five quarterback, Like they kind of say that pretty quick,
and I think back, I'm like, well, when were we

(24:11):
calling him that, like the four and twelve year because
he had good stats that year?

Speaker 4 (24:15):
Like that is that when we were determining that I mean.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
Obviously crazy in a horrible season, but yes, yes, everybody right.

Speaker 4 (24:23):
But the problem is for Deshaun Watson, we use that.

Speaker 5 (24:27):
We're like, man, he had crazy stats, but just on
a bad team. There's been other guys who had statistically
good years, but we're also on bad teams. And they
got shocked up as all they're just getting like garbage
time yards and and you know stats and all that.
Like it's kind of weird when we pick and choose,
like when we want to defend quarterbacks or when we

(24:47):
want to like castrate them on air, Like it's just
it's weird to me.

Speaker 4 (24:52):
Now, I'm just I'm.

Speaker 5 (24:52):
Being serious, Like there's times when we are able to say, well,
that guy, like he had a great year despite things
around him, and then the other guy's like, oh, that
was just because he was playing in garbage time?

Speaker 2 (25:04):
Are they a playoff team?

Speaker 3 (25:06):
The talented they finished it.

Speaker 4 (25:08):
That's one of the most talented rosters.

Speaker 1 (25:11):
But they've been talented for a while, right, I mean
they've been building.

Speaker 4 (25:15):
To this, like getting Watson at the quarterback spot.

Speaker 5 (25:19):
Now with the pieces they've got, they're like talented and
the like and have depth now, So yeah.

Speaker 3 (25:25):
I would say than what they were with Odell and
and Juice.

Speaker 1 (25:32):
See, I don't think they're as talented as they were
in that moment in time where two.

Speaker 5 (25:37):
Players, though, Like when you look at their roster as
a whole, like they're really deep, they're really talented, Like
they've got one of the best offensive lines, like that's
you know, wide receiver.

Speaker 4 (25:47):
Maybe not, I mean Odell didn't play for him much.

Speaker 5 (25:49):
No, it's hard and it's hard to really factor that
in because it was like an injured Odell.

Speaker 4 (25:54):
Jarvis was a beast yep, So with.

Speaker 1 (25:57):
The expectation of what they thought Odell was going to
ring too sure of the talent, just like what we're
thinking right now for the Raven the.

Speaker 2 (26:07):
Most underrated running back in the league.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
The incredible they had too. Now that it's only Nick
Chubb now, but.

Speaker 5 (26:16):
Still like just I think when you look at the
roster a top the bottom, it's one of the most talented,
and they've got a two year window where they're trying
to go win this thing. And that's why they went
yeat Watson. I think that's how they would look at it.
That's how they kind of talk about it. Obviously, if
he turns out to the quarterback they hope and think
he is, he'll be there longer. But in the next

(26:37):
two years, if this doesn't work, I mean, you're gonna
see people scrambling there in.

Speaker 1 (26:42):
Cleveland, which is a bigger which which you think it
would be a bigger surprise they win the North or
they lose they come in last last, that'd be a
bigger surprise.

Speaker 3 (26:53):
To me, it'd be last.

Speaker 4 (26:54):
To them it be it'd be last.

Speaker 2 (26:58):
I would say them winning is a bigger surprise.

Speaker 3 (27:00):
Gets way bigger surprised for them to win the more.

Speaker 2 (27:03):
If everybody's as optimistic about I mean, look, Cincinnati we
assume is going to be good, Baltimore we assume is
going to be good. If everybody's as optimistic about Pittsburgh
like LeVar, And because I almost said Levell, to be
honest with you.

Speaker 1 (27:18):
You kind of like said my name very differently, like
it was like an issue, like you had beef with mere.

Speaker 2 (27:23):
Like LeVar. If if everybody, if everybody's is optimistic about Pittsburgh,
like LeVar and Albert Breer, now I got a complex
about it. There's no other place for the Browns to go.
And so yeah, and I just I wonder, I mean,
are they compete, So they're competing for a wildcard spot

(27:44):
with teams like you know, the Chargers, the Dolphins, like
they're looking it looks like they're going to be one
of these.

Speaker 1 (27:51):
You're saying, competing for a wildcard spot. And I find
it to be interesting that Q you think that it
would it's more likely that they would on top.

Speaker 3 (28:01):
I just a wild card spot.

Speaker 1 (28:04):
They got to try to figure out how they don't
finish last in the North.

Speaker 3 (28:08):
Like, I think it's going to be a battle.

Speaker 1 (28:10):
For third and fourth in the North, and it could
very possibly be Pittsburgh in Cleveland that are fighting for
those last two spots. Who's going to finish not least Now,
I think that the Steelers. I know you're from Ohio,
I'm from Pittsburgh, So this could become like a territorial
type of conversation. I think that Pittsburgh has more of

(28:33):
an opportunity to challenge for second. I don't know that
they're good enough right now to win the North. I
think Baltimore has led us down way too many times
for me to feel crazy confident. But yet and still
I feel like you got to say it's between Baltimore
and Cincy who comes out of the North.

Speaker 5 (28:56):
Yeah, if we're basing that on what's happened in recently, sure, Sure,
I'm just telling you what people in Cleveland think, Like
I'm telling you what people within the organization.

Speaker 3 (29:06):
I'll talk to.

Speaker 4 (29:07):
They they feel like basically this.

Speaker 5 (29:10):
Roster is in a spot similar to twenty twenty when
they went eleven and five. They went into Pittsburgh. Whooped
up on Pittsburgh the playoff like.

Speaker 3 (29:18):
That, don't do they say it's territory.

Speaker 5 (29:23):
I'm just telling you what, baby, Okay, Yeah, well we
crushed y'all that year and beat y'all.

Speaker 3 (29:29):
How about that? Right?

Speaker 12 (29:30):
Right?

Speaker 5 (29:31):
But they feel like they're that's where they're at. They
feel like they now have a quarterback that can get
them over the top and their rosters in a spot
where they can make a run.

Speaker 1 (29:42):
They can't do that sort of thing. So it's it's
going to be exciting. I'll tell you that. The noise,
I mean an exciting division.

Speaker 5 (29:49):
It should be the it should be the toughest in
the AFC this year, next next to probably i'd say
the AFC East like those two.

Speaker 1 (29:57):
More from from the penthouse to the to the ghetto. Well,
i mean, look, Denver is interesting. We'll see what they are.

Speaker 5 (30:04):
We know what Kansas City is, and we'll see if
the Chargers can kind of get over the hump and
be that. But the writers are the ones kind of
you know, drag it behind that say.

Speaker 1 (30:13):
They pulled them down, they pulled a property value down.
They're like, what's that househunt right there on the corner,
So knockdown on.

Speaker 6 (30:21):

the Fifth Amendment.

Speaker 2 (30:25):

Speaker 3 (30:29):

Speaker 1 (30:31):
Hey, hey, Dashawn, do you think that it's legit that
you should be a captive for the Cleveland Browns?

Speaker 6 (30:39):
On the advice and my lawyer, I as certain my
rights under the Fifth.

Speaker 2 (30:42):
Amendment, DeShawn any any issue whatsoever with the name jahad
Ward on.

Speaker 2 (33:04):
I have been loaded. You know you a lion low
life game. It's over under all right to lead the lap.
Let's quickly, how do we do? Last week for Notre
Dame and Navy?

Speaker 15 (33:16):
First and foremost, Notre Dame Navy was an interesting one.
You guys pretty much killed it on the On the game,
Jonas called you and Brady were correct that Sam Hartman
would be over on the touchdown passes at one and
a half.

Speaker 2 (33:28):
I believe he had four.

Speaker 15 (33:29):
Audric esteam a eighty five and a half runs.

Speaker 2 (33:34):
Yes, Steam mass steam.

Speaker 4 (33:36):
May why not?

Speaker 15 (33:39):
Yeah, Leslie, Steam mass steam it It always gets me
eighty five and a half was his over under he
hit ninety five, hit the over on that Navy Russian yards.
We were all correct that they would hit the under
on that one. And then Jonas separated himself from you,
Brady with the win of under on points. Notre Dame
did their job forty two to three, but the point

(34:00):
total was forty nine to two.

Speaker 2 (34:02):
Money Notre Dame and the under tried telling everybody almost
got boot out of buskers because God forbid, I say
it's going to hit the under.

Speaker 5 (34:09):
Because no one likes playing the under unless it's big
ten West football.

Speaker 2 (34:12):
I don't either, just trying.

Speaker 3 (34:14):
To get them give them that game.

Speaker 2 (34:15):
No, huh, what what happened? As far as our pict yesterday,
we did a special technition as well too quickly.

Speaker 15 (34:22):
Jonas, you correctly predicted the under on Utah beating Florida.
You also correctly preicted the over on number of players
that would throw a pass for Utah.

Speaker 2 (34:32):
There's three of them.

Speaker 15 (34:33):
Weather delays lightning and dust storm delayed Arizona State by
close to two hours in that game.

Speaker 2 (34:39):
I didn't get any SEC teams that would win.

Speaker 15 (34:42):
Brady and LaVar, you guys hit the unders on that
one and LaVar you hit the under a number of
members of Big New Kickoff that would break a sweat during.

Speaker 3 (34:49):
The nobody broke a sweat.

Speaker 2 (34:52):
Didn't look like everyone was calm.

Speaker 1 (34:54):
And I'm telling you, but like I asked, would you
tail on TV that we're sweating?

Speaker 5 (35:01):
See that's all credit that people on the side then,
because there are some people sweat.

Speaker 2 (35:06):
So who won last night?

Speaker 3 (35:08):
That would be you?

Speaker 2 (35:08):
Jonah talked how many did Jonahs get? Jonas had three,
LeVar you had two.

Speaker 15 (35:13):
Brady just went all right.

Speaker 4 (35:16):
I mean, Lee, here's the thing.

Speaker 5 (35:18):
We need to make sure that we allowed there to
be enough time to celebrate Jonas and his win in
this suggestion of over Like, I don't know that we
can celebrate it enough right now, because Jonas really wanted
to make sure that we recap not only the one
from last week last Friday, but also last nights, Like he.

Speaker 4 (35:39):
Felt like it was really, really really important to do that. So, Sam,
is it possible to give him a round of applause?
I mean, does it possible give a round applause?

Speaker 3 (35:48):
Sama?

Speaker 4 (35:49):
Is that?

Speaker 3 (35:49):
I mean?

Speaker 2 (35:49):
I appreciated?

Speaker 4 (35:50):
Is there a trophy if we can present Jonas as
well as.

Speaker 2 (35:53):
No applause needed. I mean, let's just move it for.

Speaker 4 (35:56):
The trophy we can give you as well.

Speaker 2 (35:57):
I'm a humble guys, Let's just move it forward.

Speaker 4 (36:00):
Is that what you want to do? We want to
play over unders now? Is that even though you wasted
basically the entire segment.

Speaker 3 (36:05):
Yeah, that's right.

Speaker 2 (36:06):
That's rapid fire.

Speaker 15 (36:09):
Number of leads for Colorado versus tc U and a
half under.

Speaker 3 (36:16):
I'm gonna take the over. I don't know.

Speaker 5 (36:21):
Actually, uh sor Sanders can play. Dude, he's gonna he's
gonna keep them in games. He's I'm telling you, he's good.

Speaker 4 (36:29):
He get slinging around. I'm gonna take I'll take the over.
I want to see.

Speaker 2 (36:36):
All right, what's the next one?

Speaker 4 (36:37):
Lee?

Speaker 2 (36:37):
Guys?

Speaker 15 (36:38):
Time to Stanford at Hawaii and.

Speaker 4 (36:48):
No, no, I'm just hey, guys, I'm just glad Jonas.
We got to congratulated Jonas.

Speaker 2 (36:51):
I mean, since we're here, is that audience, I mean,
I appreciate it. Yeah, listen, I want to make my
friends my family.

Speaker 3 (37:01):
We don't need to bring Jonas in. Oh my god,
