Where are you doing?
Speaker 3 (01:38):
Jonas just a thousand oaks? I got nothing going on?
Speaker 4 (01:43):
Nothing you don't like leaving though you're more of a
homebody anyway.
Speaker 3 (01:46):
I am definitely am, which is weird. I didn't think
I would be like that when I was younger, and
then the older I get, I'm like, you know, what
if I can just hang out at home, hang out
with my kid, I'm good.
Speaker 4 (01:57):
He's originally put California out.
Speaker 6 (01:59):
There are thousands o.
Speaker 3 (02:01):
Thank you contours are on joining us. Sam, You're an idiot.
Speaker 7 (02:08):
We were talking at the break just about how wonderful
your Overrunners.
Speaker 5 (02:12):
Wind was.
Speaker 3 (02:15):
Just listen. I mean I thought that was impressive. Two
weeks in a row in less than two weeks. Actually,
one last Friday and then one last time in.
Speaker 4 (02:23):
One week would be the better way of describing it.
Speaker 3 (02:25):
That's one. I mean, whatever, whatever the better way is,
that's the way I did it. I know, that's for sure.
Speaker 4 (02:32):
I'm just glad we got all our picks in this week's.
Speaker 3 (02:36):
I do think that that was an importment. We can
do them now if you want, you know.
Speaker 4 (02:41):
I mean, maybe we should pay up the teas at
some point.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
Right, yeah, I mean I think we should absolutely pay
off that tea. But hey, it is a football Friday. Yeah,
come on, all.
Speaker 8 (02:57):
Right, yeah, all right, version, come on, yeah.
Speaker 5 (03:14):
We do. It's a football Friday. Let's go.
Speaker 9 (03:16):
Come on now, come on Friday. Throw it Friday, Come
on football.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
And the fact that we did football Friday throughout the
entire offseason just shows that we were really ahead of
our time, because now everybody's going to be doing football Fridays,
and it's like, dude, where were you in March? We
were doing this all the way back then. We were
talking about the Masters and we did football Friday. You know,
So there's there's all that fun stuff to go along
(03:55):
with it. If I had, let me just ask you this.
So deonce and has his debut this weekend against TCU,
what happens if Colorado goes.
Speaker 5 (04:07):
Out there and gets thrott away.
Speaker 3 (04:09):
He just gets their afts swamped. Then what is the
conversation and what is the spin from Deon Sanders about
the Colorado program?
Speaker 7 (04:20):
I don't know, only because he's been pretty adamant, and
especially this week. He didn't just say they're gonna win.
They're gonna dominate was the words that he used. And
it's interesting, like this week will be a much better
indication of it if they can dominate.
Speaker 5 (04:39):
Right.
Speaker 7 (04:40):
TCU was a team that played in the National Championship
last year. Granted you know different quarterback now, although the
quarterback they're starting for people who don't know this, he
actually was the starter last season got hurt, so Max Duggan,
who took over for him, ended up having this Cinderella
year and became a Heisman runner up. So it's kind
(05:01):
of it's kind of crazy when you think about that.
They lost Quentin Johnson to the NFL, Darius Davis to
the NFL, amongst other players too.
Speaker 4 (05:09):
But TCU is reloaded.
Speaker 7 (05:12):
I mean they took Jojo Earl, Trey Sanders, Brockmeyer, the
tackle out of Alabama. I mean three BAMA players go
from Tuscaloosa to Fort Worth. I mean, when does that
ever happen. They've got a number of talented receivers they
brought in that are super super fast, so they're set
up to win. It's just it's whether or not Chandler
(05:34):
Morris can recreate when Max Duggan provided at quarterback, which
was just at times hard and soul. But they are
they're they should be deeper. They they should be the
better team. They're a three touchdown almost favorite. But as
I said before, man Chanor Sanders gives them a chance
(05:54):
to win.
Speaker 4 (05:56):
He's super super talented.
Speaker 7 (05:58):
He's he's accurate, he can move around and create plays.
He's got a big enough arm, he's you know, he's
smart with the football, like he's gonna give them a shot.
Travis Hunter's a playmaker. They've got some other speed, talented
guys in the outside. And football is a game. I'm
moment him, especially at the college level, you know, and
if Colorado finds a way of jumping out early, look out,
(06:19):
they like they can continue to ride that wave and look, if.
Speaker 4 (06:22):
It doesn't work out, so be it.
Speaker 7 (06:24):
They'd be taking on a team next week in Nebraska
at home that's closer to what they are, which is
a team that has eighty some new players from a
year ago. Nebraska's got like sixty four I think new
players from a year ago. So that's that's more of
a level playing though, I think as far as evaluation,
but I don't know.
Speaker 4 (06:43):
Man, I'm not betting against Prime, I know that much.
Speaker 9 (06:46):
I'm gonna tell you what I was thinking, and only
because I love Prime like and I love him as
my teammate. I don't just love him as a fan.
I mean I loved them growing up as a fan,
but I had the pleasure and the honor to with
Prime in Washington and coach with him for many many
years in the under Armor All American Game. So we
(07:09):
formed a bond on different levels at different times in
our lives. I was thinking about it because at some
point in time, you know when somebody's your teammate and
you've had moments where there were critical moments like I
was struggling, I was out of shape my rookie year,
and Prime was the one who took me under his
(07:30):
wing and was staying with me after practices and forcing
me to do extra conditioning and different things, and was
talking me through practices because I was getting almost like
small panic attacks, like anxiety type deals where I couldn't
breathe and all kinds of stuff. And anyway, he was
(07:50):
there for me and he protected me in that moment.
And it's like you start to look at the landscape
and how this can kind of unfold, And I started
thinking to myself, Man, it started with me thinking. The
concern part was when Hen't wasn't able to go to
the media day because he had to go get the procedure. Now,
(08:11):
there's two major things that I'll say I felt like
have been at play. One is the tremendous amount of
content that that prime and branding prime has been doing
on social media. So he lets you into his life.
He gives you so many quotes, he gives you so
(08:32):
much content, He takes you behind the scenes, he shows
you what's going on. And I start like, I'm like, yeah,
I love this. He's bringing attention to Colorado. They sold
out the spring game, they're selling out tickets for regular
season games. And then I was like, but his health
(08:52):
is also a very, very big part of what is
going on and what you're seeing. And I started thinking
to myself, if he loses, and he loses early, there's
going to be the contingency of people that say, we
knew they were going to struggle, we knew they were
going to lose, Like, you know, fine ball?
Speaker 5 (09:10):
Is that how you say a fine bam? I want
to say a fine bomb. Yeah.
Speaker 9 (09:13):
He's like, basically like, they'll be a non story by
week three, you know, And that's how college football works.
And you know he's right. If a team is losing
by and they're losing in week three gets comes around,
you're paying attention to who's winning, not to who's losing.
But then it starts to come to me. The people
will start to attack the fact that Prime may not
(09:36):
be physically healthy enough to lead this team. It's like
you're limping into like and not to like sound like
pun intended or not intended, but your team is limping
into the season. Your your team is limping through the
first part of season. It's like what looks like a
(09:57):
great story in personance and making it through and and
you know, just the idea of being tough as hell
like Prime is tough as hell. He ain't got no
toes on a few missing toes and he's still out
here coaching and he's coming out.
Speaker 4 (10:15):
Of almost his health.
Speaker 9 (10:20):
If it doesn't work, I think I think people will
attack Prime for over selling himself. I think they will
attack Prime and say that that that his health is
is a problem or or something that that now you're
looking at and and it's not a story.
Speaker 4 (10:39):
Of I don't care what people say.
Speaker 5 (10:42):
Well, I think it'll be reported that way.
Speaker 7 (10:44):
I think it would be reported just like, hey, look,
this is a team in transition. We like four wins
is dramatic improvement from one win last year. But I
think it's gonna be more interesting what he says because
he's been so emboldened to say not just winning, but
dominating and everything that he said at this point.
Speaker 5 (11:06):
He'll hold the line, PRIMI hold the line, you know
what I mean?
Speaker 7 (11:10):
Like, what what I think he's done that's really fascinating
is he has made all these drastic changes. If you
look at the logo, it doesn't say Colorado on a
sweatshirts time, and so in making it about himself in
different ways, it's actually taken some of the focus and
(11:30):
pressure off the players, which is kind of interesting, Like
if you look at it in that light, you know
it's it's taken away the pressure, the attention, everything else
that allows the players just to focus, right, Like he takes.
Speaker 9 (11:43):
All this and that was all. And I like that point.
I like that point, but I don't know that it
will be perceived that well that way if they're if
they're getting their ass to see it.
Speaker 7 (11:57):
It's not whether it's perceived. It doesn't matter if it's
perceived or not. It's a separate conversation, Like you're talking
about one thing. I'm talking about He's He's done something
that I think is unique with the way he's constructed
as roster.
Speaker 4 (12:09):
No one, no one else but Deon Sanders could do this, true.
Speaker 7 (12:12):
I mean, any of the coach that tried to do this,
people within the people within the actual universe would be like,
what the hell are we doing? There's no way. But
he's the only one that could essentially say like, hey,
you need to change these academic standards. O I'm gonna
come here, boom done. I'm gonna turn over this roster.
So so get ready. These are the resources that I
need in order to bring in the players that I know, right,
(12:35):
Dylan Edwards a running back, he's known since he's four
years old. You know, There's there's so many different things
that he was able to do that only he could
do because he is that big of a person and
that big of a brand, And I just I think
it's kind of fascinating to like, whatever happens on the
field happens, he's he knows he's gonna have to answer
for it because he's been in that position as a
(12:55):
player now as a coach.
Speaker 4 (12:57):
So it's just the whole thing's pretty interesting.
Speaker 3 (12:59):
I think it's a two prong battle, and he's already
won the first part there we're talking about him. When's
the last time we talked about Colorado like this? I
mean other than but but he's there on the map
again because of him. I mean, you saw the spring game.
You see, like we talked about what next week is
going to look like when they open up the home
opener against Nebraska, Big newon kickoffs going to Colorado for
(13:22):
a reason because of him. So he won that battle.
The wins on the field, if we ever get there,
you're going to take time. I mean, to Brady's point,
they won one game last year, he's talking about them
beating TCU. They're almost twenty one point underdogs on the
road here to open up the season. I think the
fact that they're even on the map and he's sort
(13:43):
of thrown himself out in front of the of the
bus saying I'll be the face of all this and
take all the heat. I think they've already won that
portion of it.
Speaker 5 (13:52):
I don't know.
Speaker 9 (13:54):
I understand where you guys are coming from, and I
get it, but I do think that there's a debate
there on the perce of it. I mean, you're going
to sell recruits, You're going to sell hope on perception,
and if you if you're losing, then that that persona
that perception that what what prime represents, what he's saying,
what he's preaching now that's going to be attacked by
(14:16):
the media, and does that impact his ability to be
able to continue to sell that dream or or not.
And I think that that's a major part for any coach,
is being able to sail where you're going to go.
Speaker 7 (14:31):
I don't know, Like again, I think it's all over
the board what you're trying to say, because like there's
recruiting elements. There's the perception of the media. Look, clearly
there's people who are hiding in the media that are
waiting for this not to work. What there are like
there's going to be people out here or waiting for that.
Then you've got, you know, that faction of people who
I think are curious if it will work right because
(14:51):
they're probably thinking like, well, day, if you can do this,
then like imagine the roster turnover that another school could
do if they really they wanted to write And so
there's always different thoughts to all of it. But as
far as like, you know, if things don't work, how
he'll be perceived, Like, at the end of the day,
it doesn't really matter because I feel like when if
(15:12):
you're a parent, you're a player, and you're choosing Colorado.
Most of these players that chose to go play for
Prime want to go play for Prime, like they want
that experience. They want to go play for a Hall
of fame or one of the greatest athletes you've ever seen,
Like what he.
Speaker 5 (15:26):
Doesn't want that after losing?
Speaker 9 (15:28):
Or would you want to try to play for a
national title or go to a place where you feel
like you're in contention to win a national title.
Speaker 5 (15:35):
But that's choosing.
Speaker 4 (15:37):
If prime, sure, that's you.
Speaker 7 (15:39):
If prime is the main reason and driver, right, why
you want to go Like if you're a dB, if
you're you know, whoever it is, why receive like you
want to be coached by it?
Speaker 4 (15:47):
You want to say like that was my guy.
Speaker 7 (15:49):
That's going to trump all of that, Like because you're
in your mind going to think, well, yeah, maybe we
eventually build to that at the end of my time there.
But to me, it's it's all about Dion, Like that's
the whole point of all this conversation.
Speaker 9 (16:02):
Is he's made that could also could become an after
doing I think what you're saying and is what makes
the point of how it could be?
Speaker 7 (16:09):
The undoing happens if he leaves, Like if he jumps,
if this works and he leaves, that's when there's undoing
because then it's like, well, if you made it all
about yourself, what foundation did you really create there? That's
the only thing I'm curious is if it is successful
and he does jump to either another school or if
(16:29):
it was the NFL, then it's like, well the now
what like where where does that leave?
Speaker 4 (16:34):
See you?
Speaker 3 (16:34):
Yeah, it's going to be interesting to see where they're
at at the end of his first year and at
the end of your first year. Discover credit cards automatically
double all the cash back you've earned. That's right, everything
you've earned doubled. Seriously, c terms and check it out

from the tire Rack dot Com Studios. We do have

of the big college Football weekend Extravaganza. We've got a
change involving multiple teams, and we'll tell you what it
is that's next.
Speaker 2 (17:10):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 3 (17:25):
All Right, well, bad music on a Friday morning, Two
Pros and a Cup of Joe Here Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you coming up
later on this hour. We'll call it a little over
twenty minutes from now. We are going to have another
edition of You In or You Out. It'll be yours
here from the tairak dot com studios. We did have
(17:47):
some news that was made official a short time ago
in the world of college football. The ACC has voted.
Presidents and chancellors met this morning and they vote to
add three new schools, Stanford, Cal and SMU. That according
to ESPN and others. So that'll make eighteen members, with
(18:12):
seventeen of which we'll play football full time in the league.
That according to again Pete Thamil of ESPN. So that
news official. There were some rumblings about that last night.
But the ACC is adding three more schools. So right
when you think we are done with comeback with conference
realignment and all the other crab I'm so sick of this.
Can we just figure out what the conferences are and
(18:33):
can we move on with our lives. I'm tired of this.
Every other day, somebody's moving somewhere. Meanwhile, Oregon State, the
Beaves get no respect left.
Speaker 4 (18:42):
To Washington State.
Speaker 7 (18:43):
Yeah, Washington State's the other one, and it's sad. They're
probably going to get absorbed into the Mountain West. There's
talk of I think I saw someone was like, yeah,
there might be a partnership between the PAC twelve and
Mount West, Like, what's the partnership? What does the PAC
twelve bring to the table? I have two teams left.
I mean, it's like, I hate to make light of
(19:03):
all this. Again, We've talked about all this at length
for a few weeks now. This was pretty well known
around different circles. SMU is taking nothing. They are joining
the ACC and taking zero dollars. They're not greaty, come on,
and you have to question, Okay, well, what's the what's
(19:24):
their prerogative? Well, one, they have plenty of cash obviously
situated right there in Dallas. SMU is flush with cash,
and they want to be a part of whatever autonomous
for power, for whatever movement continues to happen. They don't
want to be left behind as a group of five team.
So they are willing to say we're going to invest
(19:45):
for the next nine years from our alumni base. We
have that sort of support, whatever it is, to help
cover the cost of moving up and being in the
ACC and being a part of this change in the
college landscape. Now, Stanford, from what I've heard, is taking
a quarter pro REDDA share, So a fourth of what
(20:08):
the other a SEC teams will get and that runs
for nine years.
Speaker 4 (20:12):
Now.
Speaker 7 (20:12):
The interesting thing about that is, you know, you have
to wonder do they have the same alumni support for
all their sports, specifically football and and you know the
other major revenue generating sports amongst Olympics as well. But
you know, they're taking much less over the course of
the next nine years to be a part of that,
and given where they're located, their travel is going to
(20:34):
be greatly impacted, you know, having to go all the
way across the country all the time to be in
that conference. So it's it's really it's gonna be fascinating
to see how those schools and teams and players are
impacted by the travel. You know, Stanford Cal joining together
all right, that helps Alusia can play each other and
you don't have to travel for that one. And you
(20:56):
hope a CEC opponents will come out and be able
to you know, stay and play both of you maybe
for a series of time. But it's that's the one
thing when you look at this sort of movement people
were complained about the Big Ten. Look, the travels not
that bad, you know where you're talking about going all
the way from San Francisco or San Jose, wherever you're
(21:18):
flying from all the way to Miami.
Speaker 4 (21:21):
There's just some long, long flights.
Speaker 7 (21:23):
That's where the majority of the AC is situated, all
on the East coast, and that adds the extra two
to three hours to those flights.
Speaker 4 (21:30):
That becomes that much more wearing. I think on the
student athletes, I.
Speaker 5 (21:34):
Think it's a weak ass conference.
Speaker 9 (21:37):
And I think that it's I think it's cool that
you have an addition like Stanford to come to it,
But even Stanford isn't a to me, you're you're not
going that's not a flagship program. That's that's not not
any current program if you ask me.
Speaker 3 (21:55):
So, I don't know.
Speaker 9 (21:57):
I think that obviously there's strengthened and and you're you're
continuing the weekend the pack.
Speaker 5 (22:04):
But it's like the ACC. The ACC used to be a.
Speaker 9 (22:10):
Conference where you were like, man, they got some they
got some teams in the A C C and and
to me, they've all since left, like you don't have
any real tammy.
Speaker 5 (22:22):
The Navy's in the ACC. We saw what Navy just.
Speaker 4 (22:26):
That they they they're not they're the AA C A
A C A A C all right, two different conferences.
Speaker 5 (22:34):
You're right, you're right. The silence, that's right, My bad there.
But the idea of of the A c C to me,
I just I think it's weak.
Speaker 9 (22:45):
I think it's a week conference, and I think teams
are going to have to figure out, I guess, what's
what's best for them in terms of moving forward. But
I just don't see I don't see the benefit in it.
I don't see the benefit in it outside I mean,
obviously the benefit the.
Speaker 7 (23:04):
Benefit for the conference is ESPN had put within its
agreements like if they got a certain amount of teams
or more teams, that would pay the conference more so.
Speaker 4 (23:17):
And what's interesting about this is you know that was
a one way deal.
Speaker 7 (23:21):
And so I don't think ESPN necessarily minds if they're
collecting all these different brands. But I mean, to your point,
look the ACC outside of Clemson, if we're just talking
about football, who's had the recent run of success. Florida
State's hoping to join that party again this year, you
really can't point to a lot, right, I mean, predominantly
it's been a basketball conference that doesn't drive as much,
(23:45):
you know, but look, if Miami can come back flat
you get if you get some of those teams coming
back in a big way, the perception will change over time.
But to your point, like, I don't know that Stanford,
Cow and SMU is really moving the needle a ton
of as far as the national landscape of how the
ACC is perceived.
Speaker 3 (24:06):
It just it's unfortunate that this news came out, you know,
on the morning of when Stanford's about to get their
ass fed to them by Hawaii and then North Carolina.
North Carolina is going to lose to South Carolina and
Charlotte for the Battle of the Carolinas. That's unfortunate because
you'd like to, you know, all the pomp and circumstance
that comes with these big announcements, and those two teams
are going to get beat up on this weekend. That's sad,
(24:28):
sad for everybody.
Speaker 4 (24:29):
Why don't you make that part of your over unders.
You know, we can go ahead do that with the
Stanford or.
Speaker 3 (24:33):
Wife, because I don't want to gloat because then it
feels like I'm bragging. It feels like I'm celebrating myself
too much. And you know me, I'm a humble guy.
I don't want any of that to be me.
Speaker 4 (24:42):
Yes, that's right. We didn't waste that the final hour
of this.
Speaker 3 (24:47):
I mean, maybe I'll bring it up on the Jonas
Knox Show coming up tomorrow two pm Eastern time.
Speaker 9 (24:51):
Let me ask you guys a question. Do you think
that the ACC can place well, I guess Clemson Clemson
with my do you think outside of Clemson do you
think any of these teams can get placed in the playoffs?
Speaker 4 (25:07):
And Florida State, Yeah, Florida State is the other team
that has a shot this year.
Speaker 5 (25:12):
You think Florida State can do.
Speaker 3 (25:13):
It because they're ranked high enough that they can. That's
a possibility. But Florida State Clemson and then after that
probably not.
Speaker 4 (25:20):
That's a question.
Speaker 9 (25:20):
And again, Miami is they're really doing well with getting
recruits and I know that they're they're building and Chris
of All is doing you no strong job there.
Speaker 5 (25:31):
But I just I'm just curious. Again, I just don't
I don't know, man. I just think the A C
C is just and when I say sucks, maybe that's
a little too strong.
Speaker 4 (25:42):
It's all right, we already we already cut it out.
They already got the drop. That's all. That's all it's
gonna hear.
Speaker 9 (25:47):
Well, I'll say this, in comparison to the SEC and
the Big Ten, everybody else sucks.
Speaker 5 (25:53):
Everybody else sucks, Like I don't care about any other.
Speaker 3 (25:57):
At this point, even Miami and Mario.
Speaker 5 (26:00):
I mean, if they come outside of the conference and play,
I'm cool with it.
Speaker 4 (26:05):
It's Madrio.
Speaker 9 (26:06):
Oh my gosh, all right, there you go. This is
a pretty good pool. I ain't gonna lie to you.
I really like that game.
Speaker 5 (26:14):
You know that? And Donkey Kong.
Speaker 4 (26:17):
Yeah, anyway, sweet, it's awesome.
Speaker 9 (26:23):
The original though. Yeah, oh man, I mean, are y'all
checking for the checking for the a CC What do
you mean? Are you guys checking for it? Like like,
oh my gosh, this game is on this this is like.
Speaker 4 (26:40):
I mean, I'm falling.
Speaker 7 (26:42):
I'm falling Clemson because I'm actually I'll put it.
Speaker 4 (26:45):
This one twofold. I'm falling Florida and falling Clemson.
Speaker 9 (26:48):
One.
Speaker 4 (26:48):
Florida State. It has got a huge matchup Sunday for
se els U two.
Speaker 7 (26:53):
There are some like I know, a bunch of Florida
State guys, and so they are really peacocking around right now.
I mean they are just letting those feathers out at
just trying to Peacock and I'm like, dude, the season
hasn't even begun.
Speaker 4 (27:05):
Can we just see what your team's capable of? Like
they've done a good job of they got.
Speaker 7 (27:10):
Some transfers, Jordan Travis' is has continued to get better.
They're really big at wide receiver, like Keon Coleman's a
Michigan State transfer.
Speaker 4 (27:19):
He's like six ' four. Johnny Wilson.
Speaker 7 (27:21):
Their receivers like six seven, Like they got the Jahem Bell,
the kid from South Carolina, the Cocks, He's he's a
big body target. Like they are physically really really impressive.
Trey Benson the running backs of stud but I just
got to see him do it. Like That's my whole
thing with Florida State right now, is I get it,
Like you look the part and last year was great,
(27:42):
but like now this year, you've got a difficult schedule,
you know, based on how it slates out, and if
they are going to be a part of it, you
know they they have the chance to prove it now.
Speaker 3 (27:52):
M Well, they listen you want to.
Speaker 5 (27:54):
I'm not a buyer. I think Clemson.
Speaker 9 (27:58):
I'm curious to see if Clempson can kind of get
back to being a dominant program. I don't know that
that Eric is it could be.
Speaker 7 (28:07):
You know what's big They got Gara Riley, Lincoln's brother
as their offensive coordinator this year.
Speaker 4 (28:12):
They just hired him in there. He's going to be
huge for Kate club Nick.
Speaker 5 (28:16):
I think.
Speaker 4 (28:16):
I think that's gonna be the difference.
Speaker 7 (28:17):
Like when you think about their one of success, you know,
like Trevor Lawrence and some of the I mean TODs
Boyd really started it early and then it you know,
transitioned to Massage Watson, then Trevor Lawrence and now you
got Kay club Nick, who's very, very capable. But they
kind of missed that in recent years, that offensive element
that that or they just haven't been quite as special.
Speaker 4 (28:39):
And I think they will. I think Gary Riley will
get the most out of Club Nick and we'll ship
in those guys.
Speaker 3 (28:44):
Yeah, well, I listen. And then also, don't forget about DJ.
Speaker 4 (28:51):
Yeah he's out an olden state.
Speaker 3 (28:53):
Yeah, I know, I'm just saying. He was also part
of that lineage of Clemson quarterbacks. Didn't work out all
that well for him, but there was a lot of
hype around him. A lot of people out here in
southern California were singing his praises, including petros and it
didn't work out all that well. But yeah, oh yeah,
big fan of DJ, big fan. We're a big fan
of DK. And that's DraftKings because DraftKings Sportsbook is an

Two pros in a cup of show what even enough?
If they're in?
Speaker 5 (33:12):
Please?
Speaker 3 (33:14):
If they're out, all right? Lead to lab What do
we got guys?
Speaker 6 (33:17):
It's a tradition for us signs referencing our show on
Big Noon Kickoff. I know I'll be looking for it.
I know you guys will be looking for it. Are
you guys enter out on those signs? Do you think
there'll be one this week?
Speaker 5 (33:29):
I do? Joe.
Speaker 4 (33:30):
Let me first ask this, Jonas, do you know someone
at Minneapolis?
Speaker 9 (33:35):
No?
Speaker 7 (33:35):
This guy kept saying, hey, can I take a photo
with you? For Jonas and I'm like sure, and then
he was. Then he goes and this is the best.
Speaker 4 (33:43):
This is like where I always like lack of people
in general, just like your thought process.
Speaker 7 (33:49):
We just get done. During our our pregame show, He's like, hey,
can I get you guys do a group shot with me?
And I'm like, yeah, buddy, you know we're gonna do
a group shot for you. Meanwhile, like everyone's up scattered,
like just trying to get back in to watch not
only our game but like Utah Florida to make sure
we're up on everything. But like this one singular guy
(34:11):
out of everyone else who wants a photo, we're gonna
do a group shot for him. Yeah, that sounds like
a jerk to say that, but honestly, like I'm like,
it's kind of a jerked ass.
Speaker 3 (34:21):
It seems you know, it seems reasonable.
Speaker 5 (34:28):
Now.
Speaker 3 (34:28):
I've never I've never been to Minneapolis, never been one
time in my life.
Speaker 4 (34:31):
So this guy's claims he knows you.
Speaker 5 (34:34):
I'm in on the signs. I think there will be
a sign, at least one.
Speaker 3 (34:38):
I think there's gonna be one.
Speaker 5 (34:39):
You know what, though, we don't do the one.
Speaker 4 (34:40):
About me pac Man, Like, what will the sign be?
That's the problem.
Speaker 5 (34:46):
That is the problem. It's a good one, you know what.
Speaker 4 (34:49):
I'm glad we dropped one about me or you know
pac Man thing that was going on for far too long. Yeah,
we kind of needed something else.
Speaker 3 (34:57):
Yeah, I hear you.
Speaker 5 (34:59):
But do we have something else? I don't think we
have a signature or something.
Speaker 3 (35:02):
Else, like what like, how about a hay Lee Hayley
It's one of those one. Yeah, then you would know
it came from this show. So yeah, I'm gonna go.
Speaker 5 (35:11):
I think there is going to be a siding Todd Todd,
which that would be weird.
Speaker 4 (35:16):
That would be great. Get to involved, or like, hey,
hey Lee, have another I guess.
Speaker 3 (35:22):
Hey Lee, big Lee Bowski. What else? Fellas?
Speaker 6 (35:30):
We have an eleven thirty pm Eastern time kickoff for
Stanford at Hawaii. Are you guys in or out on that?
Do you think it goes past like two thirty am
Eastern time?
Speaker 3 (35:39):
Well, I think it's I think it's eleven pm Eastern
I thought, I said, well, who knows? Who knows? Though
in the way this stuff, I think it's I think
it's I believe it's going to go past two thirty.
Speaker 4 (35:51):
Don't think so, No, that'd be a three hour game, right,
it will definitely go past that.
Speaker 5 (35:56):
Yeah you think so?
Speaker 4 (35:58):
Does it? Does it start at eleven or eleven thirty?
Speaker 3 (36:00):
Eleven to eleven Eastern?
Speaker 5 (36:02):
I don't think it'll go past two thirty.
Speaker 1 (36:03):
I do.
Speaker 4 (36:05):
I don't think it will.
Speaker 7 (36:05):
I mean the games have been a little bit shorter
now with the running clock outside of two minutes gone
game first downs, I think they're getting like six seven
less plays a game.
Speaker 3 (36:14):
On average, which is kind of nice. So it's kind
of nice to well, it doesn't.
Speaker 7 (36:18):
It doesn't save as much time as you think. It
only saves like a minute off TV time. But I'll
say it goes under that.
Speaker 4 (36:25):
But I don't know. Stanford was talking like they're gonna
sling it around a bunch.
Speaker 3 (36:31):
Guys.
Speaker 6 (36:32):
Only have one matchup of two top twenty five teams,
that being LSU at Florida State. Do you guys think
any other top twenty five team is gonna lose this week?
Speaker 3 (36:41):
Yeah? North Carolina's going to get their ass beat by
South Carolina. Yeah.
Speaker 7 (36:45):
Yeah, I don't know about their ass beat, but that
is an interesting matchup to see.
Speaker 3 (36:50):
I mean, hey, check your watch, it's cock thirty. South
Carolina's winning that game.
Speaker 5 (36:55):
Whoa, Why did.
Speaker 4 (36:57):
Sam think that's so funny? Sam? I thought that was hilarious.
Speaker 3 (37:03):
I shouldn't say that. I just didn't see that coming,
that's all. Just don't say that, guys, because it doesn't
make any sense.
Speaker 4 (37:08):
It doesn't make seriously, does that make eddy sense?
Speaker 3 (37:10):
Just trying to go off the beer thirty thing and
I like it. I like it?
Speaker 9 (37:14):
Come?
Speaker 4 (37:15):
Does that make any sense?
Speaker 3 (37:16):
J Justice Beamer ball Baby, it's back.
Speaker 4 (37:19):
He doesn't want to say it again. He's worried about
you doubling him.
Speaker 3 (37:21):
Sal what johnys Cock thirty?
Speaker 5 (37:25):
Oh my god? That could me?
Speaker 3 (37:27):
I don't know, just felt right?
Speaker 5 (37:32):
Question? How do it?
Speaker 3 (37:33):
How many other top twenty five teams are gonna lose?
Do you believe there's gonna be another one? I believe
there is.
Speaker 4 (37:38):
I don't think so. Do you another one besides who
who already lost?
Speaker 6 (37:44):
Well, somebody in LSU and Florida State's gonna.
Speaker 4 (37:46):
Lose, yeah, gotcha?
Speaker 7 (37:47):
Okavar Do you think somebody's gonna lose?
Speaker 5 (37:51):
Yeah, somebody's gonna leave someone, But.
Speaker 3 (37:54):
I don't guys.
Speaker 6 (37:54):
Do you think Iowa could even come close to forcing
an over in that Utah State at Iowa Game of
forty three and a half.
Speaker 3 (38:00):
You know, I'm I'm out on that. No chance of Iowa.
Speaker 4 (38:04):
We didn't even know if Kate mcnim is gonna start, right,
and that was all the butt.
Speaker 3 (38:10):
Oh.
Speaker 7 (38:10):
By the way, you know what's cool about the Big Ten.
They're giving injury updates. It's pretty nice they actually know
from a gambling perspective.
Speaker 4 (38:18):
Jones.
Speaker 3 (38:18):
By the way, these feel like uh like over like
over unders up.
Speaker 5 (38:21):
That's a great weekend.
Speaker 3 (38:23):
It's like we just did over hunders
