come damn right.

The way tire buying should be So a little bit
of bad news in the NFL, actually a lot of
bad news in the NFL for the Dallas Cowboys. Trayvon
Diggs torn acl at practice yesterday and he is out

(00:54):
for the season. This is a guy who just got
a monster contract in the off season during training camp,
as a matter of fact, and now the Dallas Cowboys
are going to be out one of their better players
on defense, a defense it's number one in the NFL
and a team that looked like they were near the
top of the league as far as talent goes and
as far as legitimate Super Bowl contenders. But Trayvon digs
out for the season. That sucks.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
It's a tremendous blow. Man. Yeah, I mean he's a
playmaker for them. You know, he's he does so many things.
You know, if you heard Michael Parsons and you know
some of the other people they talk about how much
of a vocal leader he is. He's more than just
a player that that is a good player on the field.
I mean, he's someone that that is like the glue

(01:37):
to that defense. So that's interesting to see how they
will respond to that loss, because if there's one position
outside I would say maybe a pass rusher. If you
lose a cover corner that is that is a significant

(01:58):
blow to a defense. So we'll see what Quinn is
able to do in terms of his adjustment and adapting
to life without him out there. But that's definitely comes
as like the way they started off the season, you know,
q I'd say, man, that definitely comes as a big
blow to what what looked to be a team in

(02:19):
a defense that was going to be one of the
more dominant, you know, most dominant possibly in in the league.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
I know, it's it's it's crazy too, how you know,
you see a player sign a big deal, you feel
great about him, and and look they brought in Stefan
Gilmour to help out Trayvon Diggs on the other side.
I mean, you were stacking your defense up to be
locked down, especially with the pass rush they have. So
the tough thing is, you know they they actually traded

(02:47):
for Noah igbogahy uh. He came out of Auburn, who's
a first round pick to Miami. Never really worked out ability.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Noah knows Monogamy what what's his name?

Speaker 4 (02:58):
Ibogay?

Speaker 1 (03:00):
I thought I hurt Monogamy.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
So you've got him, You've got Jordan Lewis, You've got
Eric Scott who is a six round pick out of
out of Southern miss And so they've got depth there
to to potentially replace him. It's just it's tough, man,
I mean, whoever, you know, it's hard to replace that
on the field leadership you touched on and then also
just the playmaking ability, you know, his style of play

(03:24):
and his ability to be able to get turnovers and
make plays in the football.

Speaker 4 (03:28):
You know, those are the things you can't you can't
get you know, get back.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
And just it always seems odd to me, Jonas, like
you you see a guy sign of contract that he
gets hurt. I mean seriously, like burrough sides his contract
calf injury, and we don't know how long, how much
longer he'll be impacted by that, you know, digs a
c L.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
It's so when that stuff.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
Happens, another one three, Like I think it was three
weeks later he tore his a cl He's never been
the same. Like, I'm happy for him that he Dak Prescott.
You know, he he's you know, signed the franchise tag,
had that gruesome injury, got hurt last year. Three signed
his big deal. Like, I'm happy that he got paid.
I just I wanted to see Dallas at Dak Prescott.

(04:07):
I got him before before he signed the franchise franchise tag,
and then he busted.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
They gave the heavy, they gave him the big one
after he got heard after.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Yeah, I just I wanted to see Dallas move beyond it. No,
I did. I did say that. You guys just didn't listen.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
We heard was heard.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
I did say that. It was very clear about that.

Speaker 4 (04:32):
I was.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
But he did get paid on the air, there was.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
But I just I wanted to see Dallas at full
strength with like a legit like Dan Quinn, with that defense,
full strength Michael Parsons and and I wanted to see
them against the best teams in the league. And I
wanted to see if this was really the year for
the Dallas Cowboys. Two weeks in in practice, not not
in a game. In practice, he just tears his a

(05:07):
c l like, this is not a turf issue. It's not.
It's just terrible lockhout.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
Do you know it's not a turf issue? Was it
on grass? Do we know?

Speaker 4 (05:15):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
I'm assuming it was.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
Uh, who is your super Bowl picture on us?

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Who's the Cowboys?

Speaker 4 (05:22):
I mean, wasn't the Tours too? They got there. I'd
have him winning it at the bengalship.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
That's fine, since he'll be fine.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
You know, one of the biggest things a pass rusher needs,
it's time. And you know what gives a pass rusher
time coverage. So I wonder does this impact like my
baby was, He's on a an m v P, not
just defense, He's on an MVP campaign right now. I

(05:56):
just hope that it doesn't impact.

Speaker 4 (05:58):
Are you saying he's gonna fall off?

Speaker 1 (06:00):
No, but I'm not going to say that it won't
impact his his production?

Speaker 2 (06:04):
Can we clip everything we send that out? LeVar Arrington says,
Michael Parsons is a product of the system. Can we
just roll with that and run that on social media?
It's just product of the.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
So system, man with his arm on a I didn't
let it out. I didn't let it out. I really
could have got dumb and I really could have let
it flyat but we're all in remote places, so you know,
I ain't know. Yeah, thank you, thank you, thank you, Sammy,
he's got his arm onto what sound.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Yeah, we could all be uh yeah, we could all
get in trouble here.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
Yeah. I don't want us to get in trouble.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
Yeah, but yeah, I mean that that is a good point, though.
I wonder it's just gonna be Is Mike going to
take a hit now, because now it's gonna free up
more time for this?

Speaker 1 (06:51):
Suggest Micah, Right, like there, I mean a diga zooey,
it'd be getting it in too. You know there there
there are guys that let's roll with you. You have
rear four. You must have had a popper to last night. Hey,
so listen, man there, could you stop?

Speaker 2 (07:12):
I didn't say anything, fine, I.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
Just again when when you like, think about when we
watched Miami play and how quickly Tua was getting the
ball out.

Speaker 4 (07:25):
If you have a defensive scheme that has.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
To make that quarterback hold that ball because if he
takes that risk or feels like it's taking a risk,
if there's a shadow of a doubt in releasing that
ball so quickly because of how tight the coverage is
and how good it looks.

Speaker 4 (07:45):
That.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
As a former pass rusher and somebody who teaches pass rushing,
that's one of the things that you have to understand
and you have to reverence about why team is so
important because that one moment. A lot of my biggest
plays that I've ever made was off of a pump fake.
And it wasn't a pump fake because they were faking.
It was a pump because Champ Bailey was covering them

(08:08):
or somebody that was one of my you know, cover
guys in college Dave David Macklin was a tremendous cover corner. Macklin, Yeah,
d mac and it and it allowed. Yes, No, it's
all right. I mean they should have been playing that
every time he made a play, you know, because he

(08:28):
definitely was returning. But that gives you the confidence as
a pass rusher to to work your ish, you know
what I mean. Like if you don't feel like you
have the proper coverage in the back on the back
end of your defense, it feels like you're rushed, Like
if I don't get there, something bad's gonna happen. But

(08:48):
if that ball comes out quickly, you just really don't
have a real opportunity to operate. And and so you
got to take into consideration that losing someone like Ravon Diggs,
who is so good at man coverage, that's going to
have an impact on his defense.

Speaker 2 (09:07):
And going against Philadelphia where you're dealing with a J.
Brown and DeVonta Smith and and that whole offense and
the division that's a problem. That's a little bit of
an issue there as well too. So that's a bummer
for the for the Dallas Cowboys.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
And don't sleep on Washington's receiving corps too. With with Terry, Yeah, yeah,
Harry got somebody who's calling the plays.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
I mean, one of the more underrated players in the league.

Speaker 1 (09:40):
Terry might be he might be undercovered. He don't know
that he's underrated, but he's he's undercovered, you know what
I mean. But that happens when you're on a team
that doesn't win. You just don't get the coverage. But
he's definitely the real deal, and he's been the real deal.
You know. He's a big time player, big time, big
time receivers. So you you have receivers in that division

(10:02):
for certain, So yeah, you go.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
So the Dallas Cowboys not in a good spot after
the Trayvon Diggs injury, but the Dallas Cowboys, I mean,
they look to keep it rolling again this weekend. Dallas
coming up this weekend two and zero on the year,
one of the better teams in the NFL. Just a
slight twelve and a half point favorite at Arizona, so
they should be okay with no Trayvon Digs at the Cardinals.

(10:26):
So little little twelve and a half points spread for
you there. So who knows, maybe that'll be part of
our picks against the spread. We're gonna spread them. I'm
being told by the way that we have imaging for
that now. So this is like a professional segment. We've
got imaging and we are going to fire that off
later on this hour. So who's excited for that? Huh?
Come on, who's excited for that?

Speaker 4 (10:47):
To spread them?

Speaker 2 (10:48):
Yeah, we've got imaging too. It's like, you know, the
imaging like between the BQ News and what was the
other one? We did Headliner Alive, which is basically the
same thing with just a piece missing out of it.
So I think we're gonna actually like add a little
creativity to this. We have some fun later on. So
there's all that good stuff for you here. But it

(11:08):
is two pros and a cup of Joe on Fox
Sports Radio. LeVar Arrington, Brady, Quinn, Jonas Knox with you

Speaker 1 (13:15):
It is Too Pro I'm bad, guys, that that was
my bad. I read the wrong version. Everyone it was me. Also,
everyone knows that was my bed set us.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
Up philosophy on this show.

Speaker 1 (13:29):
I mean, that's kind of like the point. That's kind
of like the point I made though last break, Like
if if the coverage isn't good, man, the sack isn't
isn't inevitable? Man? Great, it's not innin't it? You know
you got to be on the same page. I was
on the wrong page, so bad. I bet Wait if.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
It makes you feel any better, I spilled coffee everywhere
during the break, So.

Speaker 4 (13:48):
That's did you It's a mess?

Speaker 1 (13:51):
Yeah, just but he's got soft hands, you know, come on,
man that loation travels and so did them soft ass hands.

Speaker 4 (13:58):
Looking.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
I'm looking at it right now. I'll be using it
here momentarily his hands.

Speaker 1 (14:03):
Look look at him, Look at them his hands. But
you know that should be the name of a lotion brand.
Look at those hands. Yeah, there it is. Somebody's going
to do that. If you do it, just just give
me a shout out. You know, I don't need no
royalties or anything. Just give me a shout out.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
The good thing is is that if you drink black coffee,
you don't worry about being sticky?

Speaker 4 (14:26):
Is that truly.

Speaker 2 (14:32):
The joke that keeps on giving?

Speaker 4 (14:36):
To drink black coffee? Don't you leave?

Speaker 2 (14:39):
I do you're like it black?

Speaker 4 (14:41):
Don't I do like that? Question?

Speaker 1 (14:45):
He said, I do? He was all in. He was
excited to answer. Look, let's ask him again, Mike, you
eat it a Lee? You like black coffee?

Speaker 4 (14:55):
I do?

Speaker 2 (14:56):
I do like black coffee?

Speaker 4 (14:57):
Do you prefer black all the time?

Speaker 6 (15:00):
Sometimes I like cream?

Speaker 4 (15:05):
Coming?

Speaker 2 (15:06):
It is two pros and a cup of joe here on.

Speaker 4 (15:09):
He y'all out there.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
If you got a black cup of coffee for Lee,
make sure you deliver it to him. In South Carolina,
we're they're live in South Carolina.

Speaker 4 (15:18):
Make sure you deliver that black coffee to lead. It
is two.

Speaker 2 (15:24):
Pros and a cup of Joe. Here on Fox Sports Radio,
it's LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas knocks with you. So
coming up, as mentioned a little over twenty minutes from now,
I mean it's officially official. We've got imaging for it
and everything. It's picks against the spread. We are going
to spread them here on FSR. So that'll be yours
coming up again a little over twenty minutes from now
from the tiraq dot com studios. But it is a

(15:46):
monster weekend in the world of college football. Like thus
far this season, this is the best lineup of games,
Brady Quinn locked and loaded. We got top twenty five
matchups galore. We mentioned Iowa and Penn State, obviously, we've
got there's Oregon State and Washington State. You've got Ole,
Miss Alabama, you got oh and the main event of

(16:07):
it all Ohio State and Notre Dame, which, by the way,
Albert Breer and Brady Quinn didn't deserve promotional fees for
the promos they cut on each other yesterday getting people
excited for the game. I'm fired up to see Ohio
State going to South Bend three point favorites against Notre Dame.
Good weekend A call.

Speaker 3 (16:26):
Yeah, he was texting me a little bit yesterday after
the fact, cause I'll just pull back the curtain, all right. Well, Eric,
so Albert reached out, I want to say, like a
week ago, He's like, hey, can you help me get tickets? Which,
so just so people understand, like this matchup Ohio State

(16:48):
and Notre Dame and then USC and Notre Dame and
then Notre Dame and Clemson, Like anyone who's in their
right mind would have asked six months ago, like that's
how big of a matchup it is?

Speaker 4 (17:00):
It's going to be.

Speaker 3 (17:01):
I mean maybe you'd say Notre Dame USC isn't quite
as big of a deal because it happens every year
or at least every other in South Bend. But like
Ohio State Notre Dame, this doesn't happen every year. It
was a home and home. This is the second of
the home and home series, and who knows when they'll
be able to play again, so it's a huge deal.

(17:21):
And he reached out like a week ago. I'm like, no, bro, Like,
first off, I love Albert, but there's other people who've reached.

Speaker 4 (17:29):
Out in that time that are a lot.

Speaker 3 (17:31):
I'm a lot closer to that, Like I would probably
be higher than the peck order than Albert.

Speaker 4 (17:36):
And so I was like, I'll.

Speaker 3 (17:39):
Try to help you in whatever way I can, I said,
but it's a little late. I was like, it sounds
like a typical Ohio State alum. And he got a
little he got a little flustered by that, and so
then I set him a picture of a T shirt
that's circulating. It's a green T shirt as old Notre
Dame fans will be wearing green this weekend, and it
says Dahmer went to Ohio State, which is technically true,

(18:05):
which he did not.

Speaker 4 (18:08):
It's not very well received.

Speaker 3 (18:10):
And so he sends me back a shirt that says
Catholics versus draft picks. And then I sent him back,
you know, some dad and research, because as LeVar knows,
I like to do this, and I said, that's funny.
Notre Dame actually has those drafted players in the NFL history.
So I go, actually House States third behind USC and

(18:30):
so he's like, oh, oh well, well I meant first
round picks. I said, Okay, that's fair. I was like,
you're talking to one though, so I said, you can
go ahead, go ahead and play this however you want.
So you've had a nice little find Saturday. That's the fun.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
Hey, I'm not kidding. Get me a Domer went to
Ohio State shirt and I'll wear it on my anniversary.
Like I'm like, event, come on, bring give me and
can I get a medium please?

Speaker 4 (19:03):
Why can't you buy it?

Speaker 2 (19:04):
Well, I'll give you money.

Speaker 4 (19:05):
If you've gotten now that I just sent you the link,
you can go.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
Yeah, all right, there is a let's take a look
at this.

Speaker 4 (19:11):
I mean, that's that's gonna be.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
This is fantastic, But but isn't isn't this also it.

Speaker 1 (19:19):
I get it and weird, right, but isn't this And
I know people are gonna it's gonna be a little
out of pocket for some people.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
It's like the Catholics Versus Convicts game t shirts from.

Speaker 1 (19:32):
A little bit easier though to digest. I mean, the
whole Damer part is kind of you know, it's a
little out there.

Speaker 2 (19:39):
But but this this stuff, though, this is what makes
college football have an edge when it comes to the
live feel and an event portion of it the pageantry
over the NFL. It's this is great. You wouldn't get
this in in corporate NFL structure. In college football people people.

Speaker 1 (19:58):
In the league. You know, it's like you go, you
go as somebody like that in the league. Man, people
get way but hurting and then you gotta have marches
and protests and you know what do you mean and
people's labs and stuff. It's just it's just way too
politically driven man, too too motivated by that. I mean
college you can sit down and dirty with it sometimes, like.

Speaker 3 (20:21):
People and a lot of people out there don't know
this right, Like I have a foundation we work with
over five hundred student veterans at the third Gold State University.
But a lot of people don't know that, and so
like they'll they'll think I've like hatred for I don't.
I don't hate a house state at all. It's one
of the places I looked at and almost went to.
It's funny how like you get these extreme emotions that

(20:42):
are tied to your college affiliations and the teams you
root for, and it's it's it's crazy. It's like tribal
the way people will react when you start talking trash
back and forth. And I don't know if it's just
a matter of what you're touching on Jonas, like the pageantry,
the tradition, the history, but it does seem to like
there's just more creativity and fun around it. It's not

(21:05):
in this corporate box where when you go to an
NFL game, you're seeing this product and if you're not
seeing this product, you're watching fans fight in the stands
while they get hammered or one guy like holds his
beer like that's right. Essentially what you get at an
at an NFL game great product on the field, and
then whatever else you see kind of happening in the stands.

Speaker 2 (21:24):
There's also like have you guys seen behind you when
you're on location a Big Noon kickoff? Some signs that
you're like, oh man, is that really gonna make TV?
Like like there's some of the some of the creativity
people come up with these college campuses and put on
signs that are they are seen live on TV. Are
hilarious and do people behind the scenes at Big Noon

(21:47):
say we don't want to show that or they just
recognize that's part of the atmosphere, this is what we do.

Speaker 3 (21:53):
They try to take them down if they're too explicit, but.

Speaker 4 (21:58):
Some like I'll put it this way. So last week's show,
where does It Starts, there's a woman who's like directly
behind her set, like I don't know how she would
get on TV based on where she was positioned.

Speaker 3 (22:12):
She had a big pink sign and it had a
black marker and it said C s U.

Speaker 4 (22:20):
And I'm not gonna say.

Speaker 3 (22:21):
The first one, but the first word, but it said
Blank Suckers University and it just had a it just
had a big, a big old egg plant on there.
And she's holding this up and she's laughing and I
see her and she looks at me and she points

(22:43):
at me, and I'm like, that's pretty funny, Like it's
not gonna get on TV, but it's really funny. And
I tapped mark Ingram and I pointed over there and
she holds it up for him and she's like laughing,
and I'm like, it's just you can't make this stuff up, man,
I mean it's so yeah.

Speaker 2 (23:07):
I mean, like there is there. I wonder if that's
going to be a hot sellar that Notre Dame shirt
this week. I wonder how like how many people are
going to show up with that, that's going to really
make the round.

Speaker 3 (23:23):
That's like an old time I think. I think you
got to purchase that one just to put up somewhere.
As if an Ohio State alum walked in the immediate
like oh, like, there's really no.

Speaker 4 (23:32):
Rebuttal to that.

Speaker 2 (23:34):
And also I feel like the rebuttal from Breer in
Ohio State saying Catholics versus draft picks, you're stealing the
Miami Notre Dame shirt from years ago, like you're stealing
the ideas well.

Speaker 3 (23:46):
Again Ohio State extremely unriginal. But also it's not even true.
It's like, well, tend me Notre name has had more
draft picks. Do you want to say first round picks?
You want to tweak it a little bit? I mean,
how do you want to play this game?

Speaker 1 (23:57):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (23:57):
So that's it's fun. Man, this is great.

Speaker 4 (24:01):
Get drafted? Don't you?

Speaker 2 (24:02):
LeVar?

Speaker 4 (24:03):
Have you?

Speaker 2 (24:04):
What's was there anything at Penn State? You guys got
anything going on at the white out? What can you do?
Because I was too nice? There's gonna probably be some
gambling signs there for those degenerate gamblers in Iowa at
state college this weekend, there's gonna be like a big,
a giant silo. They turned into a slot machine or
something like that. Like, what are you expecting there in
State College for the white out?

Speaker 1 (24:24):
What do you mean right? No, I'm expecting right.

Speaker 2 (24:28):
I mean atmosphere? Yeah, trash talk?

Speaker 1 (24:31):
What do you do?

Speaker 2 (24:32):
Like, how are you going after the farm boys from
Iowa City?

Speaker 1 (24:35):
Like, how's this gonna It's not going to be trash
talk this group of Penn State football players. I was
telling Coach Franklin. I talked to Coach Franklin weekly. You
could check that out. By the way, if you go
to Happy Value United?

Speaker 2 (24:47):
What up Happy Value United?

Speaker 4 (24:49):
What up Half Value United?

Speaker 1 (24:51):
On demand?

Speaker 4 (24:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (24:53):
I have a weekly discussion with him, and we talked
about the identity and the person of this team, and
he asked me what I thought about the team, and
I told him I think it's like it's a it's
a bunch of d bags that love one another. And
I was like, that's what you want your team to be.

(25:14):
You want a bunch of dudes that are like to
the outside world, to their opponents, to everyone else, they're
like bullies. They're like they're nasty, Like these dudes are
nasty and you see them and they just have a
very very intimidating look, intimidating way about them, like they
give zero fs outside of one another, but they're very close.

(25:38):
They're very close to one another. Like I've not been
around very many large groups of locker rooms where everybody
is very close to everybody, Like it's not it's not
pocket driven, Like you got a pocket of friends over here,
you got a pocket of friends over there. You got
this click, you got that click, Like these dudes really

(26:01):
genuinely care and love about love each other. And I've
been around them quite a bit this this year, so
I've had an opportunity to get to know them as people,
and I've gotten an opportunity to get to know the
locker room.

Speaker 4 (26:15):
So we're talking about the white out. What are we talking?

Speaker 1 (26:18):
But that's what I'm saying. He said, what what do
I expect from them? The point I'm getting to is,
I think they're going to bully the hell out of
out of Iowa. They're going to bully them. I don't
I don't think it's going to be about talking trash
or us talking trash. We just we're going to bully them.

Speaker 2 (26:34):
You told you told their head coach that they're d
bags who love each other. Yeah, and he so wouldn't
he wouldn't it be better to say they're a holes
who love each other. Like I'd rather be an a
hole than a d bag person.

Speaker 1 (26:45):
The same their bag Like, No, I think. I think
when people call you that and and you whooping their
ass when they're calling you that, it's it's a tough insinuation.
It's not like anything else. I don't know what else
you would connect it to.

Speaker 2 (27:01):
Well, like d bag feels like something you would call
an ivy league, or like Stanford, like Stanford, somebody from state.

Speaker 1 (27:07):
We get good grades here, thanks. I mean we're not
quite Notre Dame, but we do get good grades. We
got a very very high graduation percentage. You know for our.

Speaker 4 (27:17):
Irad we're doing college games.

Speaker 3 (27:19):
Do you want me to give you like a two
minute quick runout of all the top twenty five matchups?

Speaker 2 (27:23):
I mean, you want to do that? Do you want
to do it? After we talk Deddy Garcia and find
out the latest in sports? You want to we.

Speaker 4 (27:29):
Can do quick get some imaging behind that, Sam like
just something.

Speaker 1 (27:34):
Whatever?

Speaker 5 (27:35):
Come on, man, be sure to catch live editions of

you by Discover. At the end of your first year,
Discover credit cards automatically double all the cash back you've earned.
That's right, everything you've earned doubled. Seriously see terms and
check it out for yourself at discover dot com. Forward
slash Match so we've got our picks against the spread
in the NFL coming up here shortly, but right now
we turn it over to a full blown expert, Brady
Quinn on college football.

Speaker 3 (28:51):
Yes, all right, and it starts off in the ACC
with uh what almost could be considered a top twenty
five matchup, Clemson sitting at number twenty six peop pull
just outside taking on Florida State at home. You know,
if you would have went back before the season, looked
this line, Clemson was getting close to six seven points
they're now actually getting to at home. Maybe a little

(29:12):
bit of an overreaction to Clemson losing the duke to
start the season. Kind of some improperable stuff happened in
that matchup. But one thing is for certain. Florida State
has the playmakers on the outside, Kean Coleman, Johnny Wilson,
a wide receivers Jaheem Bell.

Speaker 4 (29:26):
These are big body.

Speaker 3 (29:27):
Targets Clemson is not gonna be able to match up with.
And mind you, Florida State can run the football Jordan
Travis the quarterbacks are part of that. So this one,
this line looks a little fishy to me. With Clemson
only getting two points, I think it should be more
than that. Clemson's lacked the dynamic playmakers on the outside.
Now for the past couple of seasons, I would go
ahead and lay the two points of Florida State here

(29:48):
on the road.

Speaker 4 (29:49):
The next big matchup taking.

Speaker 3 (29:50):
A is in the SEC ole Miss taken on Alabama
in Tuscaloosa. A lot of conversation over the course of
the week about the Alabama quarterback situation. Jalen Milroe has
been announced as a starter. He will be the starter
moving forward, and that's the best thing for the Tide.
He's a dynamic runner, still working in the passing game.
That being said, they'll have a much better game plan

(30:12):
than what we saw last week versus USF which essentially
chocked up to a tryout for Tyler Buckner and ty
Simpson to see what they're capable of.

Speaker 4 (30:20):
That was a dumpster fire.

Speaker 3 (30:22):
Bama moves on and they're gonna move on laying six
and a half here, go ahead, lay the points.

Speaker 4 (30:27):
They're not losing two in Brian Denny.

Speaker 3 (30:29):
This year, ole Miss has Jackson Dart and their starting quarterback.

Speaker 4 (30:34):
He's a dual threat player.

Speaker 3 (30:35):
Led them in rushing last week, and really it's more
about just stopping the run.

Speaker 4 (30:39):
For ole Miss.

Speaker 3 (30:39):
If you can do that, force them to have to
put the ball in the air. There'll be some turnovers
for Alabama. So this one is you lay the six
and a half points. Don't worry about it. I know
Bama hasn't looked great. They'll be fine in this one.
Next up on Fox, we've got Ucla travel to Salt
Lake to take on Utah.

Speaker 4 (30:56):
This line wasn't four and a half points.

Speaker 3 (30:58):
It's now risen to Uta giving six, and in part
because the speculation that Cam Rise and the starting quarterback,
will return for this matchup.

Speaker 4 (31:06):
He's been practicing, he's been full go.

Speaker 3 (31:09):
There hasn't been contact, but it appears he will be
a go for this one. That's a good thing for
a Utah team that's three and zero, ranked eleventh in
the country, playing extremely well on defense, really one of
the best rush defenses in the country, and they're taking
on a team that runs about as anyone as well
as anyone does in UCLA. So if Utah can stop
this rushing attack in Ucla and put all of the

(31:30):
game on the true freshman, the five star recruit Dante More,
I think they've got a great shot.

Speaker 4 (31:36):
So I'd lay the six points here.

Speaker 3 (31:37):
With the Utah point at home, tough place to play
at altitude.

Speaker 4 (31:40):
Utah is the back to back Pack twelve champion.

Speaker 3 (31:44):
Next up on ABC at three thirty pm Eastern time,
we've got Oregon hosting the Colorado Buffaloes. Oregon's laying twenty
one points. He Organ's been dominant so far this year.
They haven't played anyone though, but Bo Knicks is picking
up right where he left off last season. They've got
a stable of unacks that could tote the rock and
a bunch of playmakers on the outside. The difference here

(32:04):
for Colorados They're not gonna have Travis Hunter, their two
way player at cornerback and wide receiver. He will be
out for this one. That being said, Shador Sanders and
Colorado can keep this close. They've got playmakers and Jimmy
Horn Junior Xavier Weave on the outside. We saw Michael
Harrison two step up, but they'll play a little more
three wide receivers, one tight end now with the absence
of Travis Hunter either way, twenty one points a bit

(32:27):
too much. I do think Colorado covers, but I think
Oregon gets the win. Let's move on now to some
big prime time matchups. We've got Ohio State heading to
South Bend and take on Notre Dame. Notre Dame giving
three points. Ohio State has been a little bit shaky
this season on offense. Kyle McCord at quarterback has been
less than impressive at times, and I think the battle

(32:48):
really comes down to just that, the experience of Sam
Hartman taking on the inexperience of Kyle McCord.

Speaker 4 (32:53):
Not really sure what to expect.

Speaker 3 (32:54):
Remember this Notre Dame team held Ohio State to the
lowest point total total in their house last year with
Marvin Harrison Junior with a metic book and with a
guy named Jackson Smith and Jigba and then CJ.

Speaker 4 (33:05):
Stroud at quarterback.

Speaker 3 (33:06):
So you'd have to think the defense can step up
and with Sam Hartman they'll be able to lay a
number on Ohio State. You don't need the three points,
bet the money line. Notre Dame wins this one outright. Finally,
Iowa taken on Penn State and Happy Valley. You know
we've talked about the historical matchup. Iowa was one of
the last two Penn State before that one in the
last six it's a streaky one. Penn State's got all

(33:28):
the horses. They'll take care of business versus Iowa. Although
it's fourteen and a half points that Penn State's giving
Iowa in this case, I don't like the hook. I
think Penn State wins by a couple of touchdowns in
a lower scoring affair, also due to weather. So go
ahead take the under. That's probably the best bet. But
I'd also take Iowa in the fourteen and a half.
If this number was at fourteen, would feel a little

(33:49):
bit different, but I would say it's pretty safe bet.
It should be a low scoring game all things considered.
In this one and one more Oregon State Washington State,
the Beavers strive up the Pullman to take on possibly
the best quarterback. No one's talking about cam Ward. He's
been phenomenal this year. But that Oregon State defense is stingy.
It's one of the best in the Pac twelve. Dj
Ui angl La Lay has looked reborn playing for Jonathan

(34:11):
Smith and the Beavers.

Speaker 4 (34:12):
Oregon State's just a more complete team here.

Speaker 3 (34:14):
They're actually giving three points on the road, and Pullman,
you lay those three points of Oregon State.

Speaker 4 (34:20):
I think they take care of business and that's it.

Speaker 2 (34:23):
That's what I'm talking about right there, That's what I'm
talking about right there. That was a master class, a
master class in college football.

Speaker 3 (34:31):
Com I would have told you about my conversation with
h James Franklin, but I haven't not a chance to
sit down.

Speaker 2 (34:36):
And talk to Yance oh Man.

Speaker 3 (34:38):
So I'm talking hoping to Yeah, he's coming up on
Big Man in a few weeks, is it?

Speaker 1 (34:43):
Yeah, hell Y yeah, yeah, you be here for Ohio State,
right or Michigan.

Speaker 3 (34:48):
Michigan State will be in Ohio State for Penn State though, right, yeah,
right right.

Speaker 2 (34:54):

Speaker 2 (37:28):
All right, well, let's go.

Speaker 4 (37:30):
All right, we'll go quickly here.

Speaker 6 (37:32):
Well, quick recap last week Just to let you know,
LeVar keeps separating himself from the pack.

Speaker 4 (37:36):
LeVar, you went four and one last week exhibition.

Speaker 6 (37:39):
Nice Brady and Jonas, you guys both went to and three.
So right now in the standings, LeVar has a commanding
lead seven to seven and three on the season. Brady
and Jonas, you guys are both four and six. So
we'll get right to uh exhibition week three here a
matchup between two oh and two teams, that being the
Chargers at the Vikings. Vikings are one point favorites at home. Brady,
what are you.

Speaker 4 (37:58):
Thinking, Oh Man, what's the line again?

Speaker 6 (38:05):
Viking's minus one.

Speaker 4 (38:08):
I will I'll go ahead and lay the one with Minnesota.

Speaker 2 (38:12):
Give me the bolts.

Speaker 4 (38:13):
I'm gonna bolt up. I got faith and brand this Ede.

Speaker 1 (38:17):
You're with Eddie, Yeah, I'm bolting up to Yeah, bolt this, guys.

Speaker 6 (38:23):
We got Falcons at the Lions lines are three point
favorites at home.

Speaker 4 (38:29):
But you thinking, Brady, I'm gonna lay the points with
the Lions.

Speaker 1 (38:33):
Yeah, take that.

Speaker 2 (38:35):
I'll take Detroit as well too. Atlanta shouldn't have won
that game last week, and by the way, Arthur Smith
did his Arthur Smith did his best best to try
and lose that game as well too, So I'll take Detroit.

Speaker 6 (38:47):
Yeah, guys, we have in the late window a pair
of double digit spreads here. Chiefs are twelve and a
half point favorites at home versus the Bears.

Speaker 1 (38:54):
What are you thinking, Brady, away.

Speaker 4 (38:56):
In the points.

Speaker 1 (38:59):
Yeah, I'm gonna points on this one.

Speaker 2 (39:01):
It's been a quiet week in Chicago. I'll take the Bears.

Speaker 1 (39:03):
I think they're focused.

Speaker 4 (39:05):
I think the Chiefs might just go in there and
raid the Bears.

Speaker 2 (39:09):
Ah fig going to FBI. The ass are damn.

Speaker 4 (39:17):
Guys.

Speaker 6 (39:17):
We also have Cowboys at minus twelve and a half,
but they're at Arizona. Cowboys minus twelve and a half
at Arizona.

Speaker 1 (39:23):
What are you guys thinking?

Speaker 3 (39:24):
Arizona's big competitive man, I don't know about that. That's
a big number. I'm gonna lay the point. I'm gonna
lay the points. I'm gonna lay the points.

Speaker 2 (39:33):
Yeah, I'll take Dallas.

Speaker 6 (39:35):
And lastly, you guys, Sunday night football, Steelers at the Raiders.
Raiders or two and a half point favorites at home?

Speaker 2 (39:41):
No, Lers, Steelers Stiller, Yeah, take the Steelers, all right.

Speaker 4 (39:47):
Tell me how it goes, Fellas.

Speaker 1 (39:48):
That's week three with that explosive offense they've got going
on there.

Speaker 2 (39:51):

Speaker 4 (39:59):
