from college football that scheduled early on in the season

I mean, in defense of the Denver Broncos, their defense
was pretty banged up. They were missing some pieces in
the secondary, so maybe that played a role. But I mean,
Miami was even without Waddle. Remember Jalen Wattle was out
due to concussion, so you literally didn't even have their
full strength. And it's just I've been saying it for

weeks now. The offensive creativity. I mean, there's two shovel
passes that Mike McDaniel had kind of put in, and
the different things that he does pre snap and where
he puts guys in different spots.

It's so far and beyond the other teams.

If I asked you right now, who are the two
best teams in the NFL, I would say San Francisco
and Miami. They're both three and zero. They've both been
pretty pretty darn good, and they come from the same
coaching tree. Obviously, Mike McDaniel had coached under Kyle Shanahanon's
San Francisco, and it's just like, I feel, it's really

easy to see which offensives excel, which coaches have creativity,
and it can put defenses in a bind. And you
can say, well, they have Tyreek Hill, or they have
Deebo Samuel, they have Christy. Okay, that's part of it,
but I'll say this much brock Party's played really well
and Tua Tago by Lowe has played fantastic this year.
Do we ever have we ever talked about them as

a top five QB. No, Like, we don't look at
either of those two and say, well, they're Josh Allen,
or they're Patrick Mahomes, or they're even Joe Burrow or
Lamar Jackson or we never talked about them like that.
So it's kind of crazy to me that you look
at the two best teams right now three games in,

and I know Philly and Tampa are both undefeated.

is it felt as as one of the bigger games
that like I've been at and been a part of,
which was pretty neat to see. And obviously the campus

is the most unbelievable, like three nothing game I've been

a part of, where it just felt wild, like the
fourth downs and a couple of the calls that didn't
go Notre Dame's way, or a couple of plays that
Notre Dame made to stop Ohio State when they got
down on the goal line, Like it was a wild atmosphere.
And then there's the ending, which you know, it's one
thing when you get beat and you just flat out

get beat, like the team makes a play, they do something,
and they do something where where you're just like, yeah,
they were the better team that day.

Ohio State was not the better team that day.

There was multiple opportunities for Notre Dame to win that game,
whether a games only interception, obviously that the final you
know a couple of plays where you didn't have eleven
men on the field. I mean, you were that close
to stopping them on the final play with ten guys,
not even a defensive lineman on the side of on
that side of the line of scrimmage, Imagine if you

just had another body there, they're probably not getting in.
And so look, give give credit to Ohio State Coyle
McCord in particularly, who kind of helped drive them back down,
made a couple of big throws on that drive.

and ultimately that that ended up being well, neither team

a way to win that game. And that's what it

takes in the college football season, especially on the road
when you got to play a tough opponent. But look,

was pretty banged up. They were missing some pieces in

weeks now. The offensive creativity. I mean, there's two shovel
passes that Mike McDaniel had kind of put in, and
the different things that he does pre snap and where
he puts guys in different spots.

If I asked you right now, who are the two
best teams in the NFL, I would say San Francisco
and Miami. They're both three and zero. They've both been
pretty pretty darn good, and they come from the same
coaching tree. Obviously, Mike McDaniel had coached under Kyle Shanahanon's
San Francisco, and it's just like, I feel, it's really

easy to see which offensives excel, which coaches have creativity,
and it can put defenses in a bind. And you
can say, well, they have Tyreek Hill, or they have
Deebo Samuel, they have Christy. Okay, that's part of it,
but I'll say this much brock Party's played really well
and Tua Tago by Lowe has played fantastic this year.
Do we ever have we ever talked about them as

a top five QB. No, Like, we don't look at
either of those two and say, well, they're Josh Allen,
or they're Patrick Mahomes, or they're even Joe Burrow or
Lamar Jackson or we never talked about them like that.
So it's kind of crazy to me that you look
at the two best teams right now three games in,

and I know Philly and Tampa are both undefeated.

is the most unbelievable, like three nothing game I've been

fourth downs and a couple of the calls that didn't
go Notre Dame's way, or a couple of plays that
Notre Dame made to stop Ohio State when they got
down on the goal line, Like it was a wild atmosphere.
And then there's the ending, which you know, it's one
thing when you get beat and you just flat out

get beat, like the team makes a play, they do something,
and they do something where where you're just like, yeah,
they were the better team that day.

Ohio State was not the better team that day.

There was multiple opportunities for Notre Dame to win that game,
whether a games only interception, obviously that the final you
know a couple of plays where you didn't have eleven
men on the field. I mean, you were that close
to stopping them on the final play with ten guys,
not even a defensive lineman on the side of on
that side of the line of scrimmage, Imagine if you

just had another body there, they're probably not getting in.
And so look, give give credit to Ohio State Coyle
McCord in particularly, who kind of helped drive them back down,
made a couple of big throws on that drive.

was like all this the comments that he made, like

show is going to be on campus and they're like,
what did he think he was going to say? He

Like it's some of this is made for TV too,
but you have to be understanding of that. So it's
just for that to be how you handle a post
game after a big win. That's what's surprising.

narrative which I can't understand. Ohio State has been at
top of the Big Ten for a really really long
they haven't though they haven't for the last actual two years. Yeah,

so you can't act like it's us against the world

the event was Friday evening and it was awesome. And

next several weeks where the next one is going to be.
I believe the next one is in Minneapolis. If you're

anywhere near Minneapolis and you can get out to it.
It's awesome, good time, good people, everybody involved. The people
the Graduate in Columbia, South Carolina could not ask for
a better staff, best hotel experience I've ever had in
my life. Not just saying that, because if we have
a relationship with them, that's the truth. And they're very
friendly and they'll offer you a drink or a cocktail

and just kind of hey, you know, you want to
hang out, and the left over to yeah, at least
not want to turn that stuff down.

No, and uh he he proceeded to put on uh
what amounted to I believe, like a twelve.

froze that was the choice at the tailgate event for
Graduate Hotels. I mean, he really put on an impressive showing.

My guy Ryan at the Graduate made a good cocktail.
I always just trusted Ryan with a with the nice mullet,
just asked him, Hey, Bud, what you got for me today?

him a ride and everything, can he drink white Russians

So so Columbia got a taste of the big Lebowski.

But we walk in there and I just ordered, like,
you know, four of those like giant fifty ounce waters

And so Lee's making fun of me, calling me a

And so we walk into the to the mini mart
and I'm like on FaceTime with my wife and Lee
walks into the shot and I point the phone to him,
and the look on her face was just shock and
disarray at what the hell happened to Lee. She looked
like she had seen a ghost who who was also

on drugs. She had no idea what was happening. She goes,
what's going on there? And I said, uh, just trying
to get lead back back to the hotel.

Here's here's the thing you gotta know about Jonas too,
is Jonas is an instigator. Every time we walk into
a place, and as we're leaving a place, he's like,
too bad, you're too much of a wo's to get
another shot real quick?

USC take the same approach?

Do they take the same approach this year or or
first off, the break's been knocked off and you just
approach it as another game. The only questions you have
about SC at this point in time is how soft
they're schedule has been. I think their combined opponents, their
records three and fourteen, they're like one in twelve versus
FBS teams. So the only question you have is, like

you've seen some of the improvements from Southern cal. We
know how good Cayleb Williams is, we know how good
their offense is, and Lincoln Riley Collen plays. It's really
become about their defense. And they haven't played anybody, I
mean anybody. That's no disrespect to Stanford. They're in a
transition here with with Troy Taylor, but they haven't played anybody,

and this offense for CU will test their defense to
a degree like this is one of the first tests
or maybe the first test SE's got all year.
