(01:25):
you're an actor.

Speaker 4 (01:26):
What does that mean, just saying the multi talented?

Speaker 2 (01:30):
Yeah, an actor now too, that's just impressive.

Speaker 5 (01:34):
I wasn't acting in that scene.

Speaker 6 (01:36):
Oh yeah, Tyreek, Yeah it was real. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
Now, uh lady, you want to uh how long? How
far do we want to take this joke? I mean,
we take it as long as we want.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
Well, I mean, so the show tell the story.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Or now, yeah, LeVar, you wanted to all the story?

Speaker 5 (02:01):
What do you mean tell the story? What do you mean?

Speaker 4 (02:06):
Was a point?

Speaker 5 (02:08):
There's been a time where you know, I had an afro,
I processed it, put some curl activator in there. Hell yeah,
it looked wet. It looked wet, but it was dry.
And well I did a did a movie that was
out in California, out in LA and you know, there

(02:32):
was there was homies in it, there were essays in it.
There Vato's, you know, there were there were police officers. Yeah,
that's I mean in the film as well.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Referring to the movie Colors for our national audience, here
the movie Colors where they drop.

Speaker 6 (02:57):
What about me, pac Man. Drop is is from metter
with you hag men, wasn't.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
With you men?

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Maria Cancheta Alonso. I believes the actress there who comes
out of the room.

Speaker 5 (03:11):
That's correct, correct.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Sean Penn has a nauseous feeling anot in.

Speaker 5 (03:15):
His Stumpach's correct. He just walked in and saw me
laying on the bit.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
He saw Lvar taking batting a young LeVar, Yeah, a.

Speaker 5 (03:23):
Young you know comfortable. I was comfortable and I made myself.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
At home, broke orio.

Speaker 5 (03:31):
You know, rolling with the homies.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Sean Penn and LeVar. I mean sharing is caring and
that was the situation that was happening in that scene.

Speaker 5 (03:41):
And I didn't know there was sharing going on. I
just was, you know, I was hanging at the crib.
That was my role and I did it.

Speaker 6 (03:49):
Yeah, you were hanging there.

Speaker 4 (03:50):
Now Lee got paid for it, you stupid lie. Stupid Lee.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Do you want to do you want to spill the
beans on?

Speaker 4 (03:58):
Uh?

Speaker 7 (03:59):
Yeah, well Sam here has been wondering why we love
this drop so much. Of course I had to explain
to him that that, uh, we love we love playing
this drop because LaVar was in this movie with with
Sean penn And so Sam has been asking me all
about the details of why of this scene and Levar's
time in Hollywood, and uh so I didn't realize that

(04:21):
this joke was going on way too long.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
So Lee Lee probably was drunk and forgot to tell Sam.
And it was a joke the whole time. So Sam
really thought that LeVar was uh.

Speaker 6 (04:34):
Yeah, well we were just started watching the scene right now,
and I'm like, that's not LeVar.

Speaker 4 (04:43):
This is not.

Speaker 6 (04:45):
I was told the guys.

Speaker 7 (04:46):
I was like, if it comes up, just go with it,
because I've gone coming down this rabbit this whole time.

Speaker 8 (04:52):
So how long hasn't been Sam since you thought LeVar
was doing that?

Speaker 6 (04:57):
Like, probably about a month you were That's a long ass, Yeah, I.

Speaker 7 (05:01):
Mean he just kept on asking me questions. He's like, so,
how many movies is LeVar done? This is a why
haven't I heard about this before?

Speaker 4 (05:09):
Yeah? I don't know.

Speaker 5 (05:10):
You know, Colors is from nineteen eighty eight.

Speaker 6 (05:13):
I'm like, yeah, Sean penn I was young.

Speaker 5 (05:16):
I would have I would have been ten years old.

Speaker 6 (05:19):
Why does Sean Pennley he looks like he's like in
his twenties. Yeah, it's an old movie. Oh wow, So
I was thanks for lying in my face for a month,
but all of you.

Speaker 9 (05:28):
Lee got hammered and forgot to remind Sam that he
was joking in a drunken mess.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
And so Sam's thinking this whole time that.

Speaker 9 (05:36):
LeVar and Maria Kuncheta Alongso were you see athletes? Since
pro athletes all the time in movies and TV shows.
So I just figured, yeah, like LeVar, this is figured.
It came out the late nineties or early two thousands,
and LeVar had little small role in a film.

Speaker 4 (05:51):
No God, I love you Sam.

Speaker 6 (05:54):
When someone tells me something and they're serious, I believe them.
I just take them at their word. Okay, I get
in troubled.

Speaker 5 (06:00):
I did a sitcom. I did a sitcom palette with
Jennifer Love Youwett and Tom Brady. It just never know
you ever got picked up?

Speaker 4 (06:09):
Wait? How long? Hold on? Hold on? I have questions
about this. How long ago was that?

Speaker 5 (06:15):
I don't know, it's been a while.

Speaker 6 (06:16):
We need to find this.

Speaker 5 (06:17):
No, no, no, I guess that's the fact that it's
been Like I was, it's been like a long while,
like twenty yearly two thousands.

Speaker 4 (06:26):
Yeah, that was prime.

Speaker 5 (06:27):
Jennifer's not twenty years, maybe like eighteen.

Speaker 4 (06:33):
She said.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
She said she's had added a couple of additions to
the house there.

Speaker 8 (06:38):
And no, that was back then. That was that was real,
that was there. That was the work that's been done
since then isn't helping.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
But oh man.

Speaker 5 (06:48):
Prime Jennifer Love. I was a fan. I was a
fan of I'm sure you were. I say she was
very nice. She was very nice first to me. Yeah,
she's nice.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
Hands the.

Speaker 5 (07:03):
Hammers, hammer hammers, all.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
Right, hammering.

Speaker 6 (07:10):
No, we refused to now as we.

Speaker 8 (07:14):
See it in stream? Was a stream or was it?
I know you did last summer or whatever it was? Yeah,
there was I know you did last summer.

Speaker 6 (07:21):
What scene are you talking about?

Speaker 8 (07:23):
When it's like raining and she's like yelling, She's like,
I forget what she says because I wasn't focused on
the words.

Speaker 5 (07:30):
It just went blank. Call. It just didn't hear anything.

Speaker 4 (07:33):
I just moved very fixated on something.

Speaker 5 (07:36):
Yeah, I got you.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
She got blonde hair, now she had some she lightened
her hair up a little bit.

Speaker 5 (07:42):
I mean, you're kind of creepy.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
I'm creepy for that. Right after this.

Speaker 5 (07:49):
Kind of you just went, you just went real. Uh,
Detective mode right now.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
You took Maria Kenchetah a lonzo horseback riding in a movie.

Speaker 5 (07:59):
But I'm that is very true, you know what. I
take it back.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
You're right, damn.

Speaker 5 (08:06):
I definitely took her out on the trail.

Speaker 6 (08:09):
I ran into Jennifer love You at once.

Speaker 7 (08:11):
I was at the video store, my first job, and
a Beautif video store.

Speaker 5 (08:15):
Was that it was cooled.

Speaker 4 (08:18):
You didn't run into her if you're working there.

Speaker 7 (08:20):
Oh, well, she she walked in. I knew she was
a customer, but I had never met her before. Hot
blonde walks in.

Speaker 5 (08:27):
You hold on, hold on, stop yourself in front of her.

Speaker 4 (08:31):
How did you know she was a customer?

Speaker 6 (08:33):
Uh, the the word gets around, you know, you know.

Speaker 4 (08:36):
Like you looked her up at the database at Blockbuster.

Speaker 7 (08:38):
Well yeah, the older customers were like, well, yeah, Jennifer
love You, it's a regular here. And oh her boyfriend
would come in all the time and use her name,
so I would always be seeing her name, Jennifer love You.

Speaker 8 (08:47):
You want a douchebag? He use her name for Blockbuster?
Basically like this dude could pay for some own Blockbuster.

Speaker 5 (08:56):
Yeah, basically he's kind of o G to me always.
That's had a ged up to me that she needed.

Speaker 4 (09:07):
For it.

Speaker 6 (09:07):
Always had late fees, had a car.

Speaker 5 (09:10):
You had to use a card, didn't You had to
have a Blockbuster card.

Speaker 7 (09:13):
Well it wasn't. It wasn't Blockbuster, it was lake Side Video.
But yes, you had to have that kind of information video.

Speaker 5 (09:19):
Lake Side video, side video. I'm just called stay married
to Blockbuster. That would just say Blockbuster.

Speaker 6 (09:26):
And so you know, hot blood.

Speaker 5 (09:27):
Did you have to have a car at Lakeside?

Speaker 4 (09:29):
Yeah, oh yeah, said.

Speaker 6 (09:31):
I would always wave the late fees. I wasn't, and
she would and she would come in.

Speaker 7 (09:36):
She came in one time with a with a Playboy
T shirt on with the new editions, and I.

Speaker 4 (09:43):
Wait, was she in Playboy?

Speaker 6 (09:44):
I think she might have been.

Speaker 4 (09:46):
Okay, what really, I'm distracted?

Speaker 5 (09:48):
So then what's fingers?

Speaker 7 (09:52):
He jumped across the counter to help this uh young
lady find some videos.

Speaker 6 (09:56):
I was talking her for like three to four minutes.

Speaker 5 (09:58):
This young lady then I know, exactly checked her out.

Speaker 7 (10:02):
I didn't realize because she had just dyed her hair blonde.
And then she I asked for the last name for
the account, and of course h E W I T T.
And I was like, oh no, I've just been talking
to Jennifer love hew At for the last four minutes.
Didn't even realize.

Speaker 4 (10:14):
I'm not saying any playboy.

Speaker 6 (10:15):
She might not have been, but she was definitely rocking
the playboy's shirt.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
That's all right though, there's uh, we got options here.

Speaker 5 (10:22):
You saw that, You saw the B and the Y,
didn't you.

Speaker 4 (10:27):
Damn?

Speaker 2 (10:31):
Yeah that was way don't you. That was way before
Bryce Young he not. Yeah, that was well ahead of
its time, all right, So there is uh, just a
look around, Lee, don't go anywhere because you got to.

Speaker 6 (10:44):
You got some explaining to do here. More lies to
direct me.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
I can't believe Sam, you actually thought that was true.

Speaker 8 (10:52):
Yes, maybe she was all right December two thousand and eight, Okay.

Speaker 6 (10:59):
Yeah, that would add up. Yeah, the power Alley.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
So Lee, can you explain why the NFL And then
keep in mind the NFL in the same week that
for whatever reason, Taylor Swift has taken the league by storm,
which Brady laid out perfectly and is good, the bad,
the ugly this week. But it's disgusting what is happening
with this Taylor Swift stuff. The NFL doesn't need it.

(11:24):
Apparently they're taking this thing a step further. So we've
had the Nickelodeon game before, but the London game featuring
you know, the Calvin Ridley Bowl featuring the Jags and
the Falcons.

Speaker 6 (11:36):
We've got what going on again.

Speaker 7 (11:38):
We've got the Toy Story Fun Day Football, which is
a simultaneous league cast animated game taking place in andyes
room if you know Toy Story, Yeah, using the NFL's
next gen stats and tracking data to simultaneously play the game.
So it's going to be all the players all animated
like Pixar characters, basically acting out a game in real

(12:00):
time in Andy's room as basically toys.

Speaker 8 (12:03):
By the way, this has nothing to do with the
Taylor Swift stuff. This is like two completely different subjects.

Speaker 2 (12:09):
It's two things the NFL don't need, doesn't need at all.

Speaker 8 (12:12):
Right, I don't know that they need or don't need this.
I just think it's kind of interesting. Like I'm definitely
gonna like look at and see what this what this
looks like.

Speaker 4 (12:21):
I mean, I'm curious only because have you guys watched
like last night.

Speaker 8 (12:25):
For example, Amazon has like an alternate feed where they
incorporate like different features to the broadcast, so you could
see like the speed of a player, or they highlight
certain players.

Speaker 4 (12:36):
Have you watched that feed yet no refuse to okay?

Speaker 8 (12:39):
It to me is the most fascinating thing that anyone's
done in regards to the NFL and TV to date. Like,
I think that is the future of game viewing. It
is incredible. You could, I mean it like measures the
speed of a player in real time, like they can
they could do some different things like trace their out

(13:00):
and where they're going on a pass play for example,
they highlight like put up a little halo around that player.
It's the closest thing to combining. Remember the whole idea
of the skycam and how like everyone was like, oh,
you know, maybe we should go with that view all
the time because there's fog. I think it was in
New England where they had to go with the skycam
because literally the sideline camera was too high. It couldn't

(13:23):
get like a good a good you know, like vision
on the field.

Speaker 4 (13:27):
Well that kind of went away.

Speaker 8 (13:28):
This is the first thing that Amazon's done that I
think is kind of fascinating to see if it can
actually become like something that you will see regularly on Fox,
on CBS, on NBC, so I don't know. I'm curious
to see what this looks like. But they're doing some
really cool innovations with how the NFL game is presented.
And I'm not saying that it's necessarily needed or warranted,

(13:52):
but eventually, like you might grow to like it, like
you might think that's actually like the way I'd rather
view this game.

Speaker 6 (13:58):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
Give me a been on eleven and car accidents every
single Sunday, that's all I know.

Speaker 4 (14:04):
That's not happening anymore.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
I don't need the bells and whistles. I don't need
this crap toys.

Speaker 4 (14:08):
We're not getting the car accidents, so I.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
Just the Taylor Swift stuff, Nickelodeon games, toy story, like
there's an aisle for that, and it's not the NFL
move along.

Speaker 8 (14:21):
The difference between the Taylor Swift crowd and the Nickelodeon
or toy story is you're trying to take young people
and then grow them to love the sport or like
the sport and the circ capacity the Taylor Swift things
like all right, I mean she's moved through some dudes
through the years, Like.

Speaker 4 (14:36):
How long is this gonna last? I'm just saying.

Speaker 8 (14:38):
Mark Cuban's already saying, like, hey, break up with him.
I've got plenty of single guys and the Mavericks, right,
he's he's cat calling her to come date one of
the MAVs.

Speaker 4 (14:46):
I just how long is this gonna last? For right,
it's a.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
Mask, a habitual renter that she just like she.

Speaker 8 (14:53):
She's gonna break up at some point, write a song
about him, then she moves on.

Speaker 4 (14:58):
That's isn't that what's happened in the past? Am I
wrong in assuming that?

Speaker 6 (15:02):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (15:03):
Yeah, I know she has moved through, uh, moved through
a few fellows.

Speaker 4 (15:08):
And she usually writes a song about him.

Speaker 2 (15:10):
Yeah, So listen, it'll be interesting to see how.

Speaker 4 (15:14):
This that he wants no part of the swift conversation.

Speaker 5 (15:19):
I already went along with the whole colors thing at
the beginning of a second. I'm just listening to you guys. Okay,
it's good, all right, it's good stuff. I was being entertained.
I turned to a listener.

Speaker 4 (15:30):
You know it is.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
It is two pros and a cup of Joe Here
on Fox Sports Radio. It's LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn Jonas
knocks with you. All right, So coming up next here
from the Tirak dot com Studios. Episode one of a
feature that we dropped last week went well, went really well,
so well that we're bringing you episode two and it's

(15:54):
coming up next.

Speaker 10 (15:56):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio,
LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here coming
up but in a little over twenty minutes from now,
from the tire Rack dot Com Studios. We are going
to spread them picks against the Spread, a Friday tradition
during the NFL season here, so we will have those
for you again coming up here a little over twenty

(16:30):
minutes from now. So last week we launched the debut
of a segment we don't have a name for yet,
trying to put together some bells and whistles and get
everything dialed in for one. Braden Quinn as he looks
around the top twenty five of college football.

Speaker 3 (16:46):
Now you've got four.

Speaker 2 (16:47):
Games you want to take a look at this weekend
there BQ.

Speaker 8 (16:50):
Yeah, four games where we've got two teams in the
top twenty five. Squaring off actually starts off tonight, but
I'll let you kind of get into it first.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
Okay, So so we are still developing a segment title
for it.

Speaker 6 (17:03):
I'm calling it Quinn's Wins.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
But you know that, Yeah, I mean, there's there's that.
It's kind of a play on the T shirt we
saw in Dublin where the woman had the shirt that
said I would sin for Quinn. You know, kind of
a rhyme on the last name that was out there. Yeah,
that was flowing around. It's fun shirt, fun shirt.

Speaker 4 (17:22):
There was a lot of shirts back in the days,
a lot of shirts.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
I don't know why she grabbed it for my bag,
but she did. You said sin with Quinn, I would
sin for.

Speaker 4 (17:29):
Coming, I would send for Quinn.

Speaker 5 (17:31):
Yeah. Oh wow.

Speaker 2 (17:34):
The problem is my last name, Knox runs with too
many things that are a.

Speaker 4 (17:39):
Little bit abound.

Speaker 5 (17:40):
Yeah, now that I can go with a shirt.

Speaker 2 (17:42):
There, so if people want to get creative there, But nonetheless,
we will come up with the name at some point.
But forget the name and forget all that other.

Speaker 5 (17:50):
Fronts I mean, you could do a shirt in the
box with knocks, you know.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
Yeah, that's just not really, that's not in the box.

Speaker 5 (18:00):
Yeah yeah, I'm just saying it rhymes.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
Yeah, it's true. It definitely is true. Right all right,
but right right now, without further ado, take it away, BQ.

Speaker 8 (18:15):
All right, we're gonna kick off our four game action
here tonight on FS one eight pm Eastern time. Utah
is headed to core Vallas to take on Oregon State.
Utah the number ten team the country, despite the fact
that Cam Rise and the starting quarterback, has yet to
start a game this season. Nate Johnson did a great
job last week in Utah's win over UCLA, but it

(18:36):
was more importantly the ground. I should say that the
ground attack, running game, and then the rush defense was
stout versus UCLA. They're gonna have to be up for
the task again. This is a more complete Oregon State team,
granted coming off of loss last week in Pullman, Washington,
but dj Uyungo La has been transformed a bit Fenwick.
The running backs were the best in the Pac twelve,

(18:56):
and Oregon State's defense is as good as it gets.
The line initially started at three points. It's crept up
now to four and a half. I think there was
speculation that maybe Cam Rising would be back for this one.
Some of those some of those doubts are starting to
creep back in, like he might not be there. And
I'll remind you this is a Utah team. They're four
to oh, top ten in the country, dead last in
the Pack twelve, and throwing the football. They need their

(19:18):
quarterback back. I'm not so short happens. That being said, though,
I'll take the four and a half points. You don't
bet against Kyle Winningham the way he's coached up this
team this year.

Speaker 4 (19:28):
All right.

Speaker 8 (19:29):
Next on Saturday, we've got a matchup between Kansas, who's
four to no.

Speaker 4 (19:33):
Number twenty four in the country. They're head to Auston
to take on the Longhorns.

Speaker 8 (19:37):
We're also four to oher sitting at number three obviously
after their big win versus Alabama a couple of weeks ago.
This is an interesting matchup. This Texas team is different.
They're poised to win the Big twelve. They're pois to
go to the College Football Playoff and finally break through
and answer that question if Texas is back. The problem
is this Kansas team is feisty. Jayde Daniels at quarterback

(19:58):
is a true playmaker. Antelight Pold and Miss coaching staff
have been creative and if you're recalled, the last time
Kansas came to Austin, it was a fifty seven to
fifty six shootout. I want to say in overtime, Kansas shocked.
Everyone shocked. Texas won the game. That's not the case here.
Though this line is sixteen and a half points. It's
going to be different in the trenches because Texas is

(20:21):
a more physical team. Their defense has been extremely stingy.
I think Texas walks away with this one. You lay
the sixteen and a half points. Next up LSU taking
on Old Miss in Oxford. LSU number thirteen in the
country after the loss earlier this season and Old to
Florida State and Old Miss number twenty coming off a

(20:43):
loss that most.

Speaker 4 (20:44):
Recently against Alabama last week.

Speaker 8 (20:46):
It's really going to come down to you if LSU
can replicate what they saw from Alabama last week stopping
the rushing attack.

Speaker 4 (20:53):
Quinn Shawn Jenkins for.

Speaker 8 (20:54):
Old Miss putting this game on Jackson Dart's shoulders. I
don't know that they have the same explosiveness in the
passing they've had in years past. I think LSU is
starting to find itself. Jane Daniels four touchdowns just a
week ago. Logan Diggs has come out the running back
spot for them too. He's kind of emerged as the
go to guy. And defensively, Els two hasn't been perfect,

(21:14):
but I think they can match up well enough versus
Old Miss.

Speaker 4 (21:17):
LSU.

Speaker 8 (21:18):
Is given two and a half on the road, you
lay those two and a half points. And finally, my
Notre Dame Fighting Iris coming off a disappointing loss last
week to Ohio State, they had to raw it to
take on Duke number seventeen, Duke who's four and oh
right now, A lot of people remember their big win
over Clempson the start of the season. This Duke team
can absolutely get after it. One of the best defensive

(21:38):
teams in the country that could run the football, and
that includes their quarterback Rodley Leonard. But for Notre Dame,
I think you saw the potential of how good they
can be. This is a good defense as a team
that can run the football, and really, to me, I
think there's mismatches on the outside too.

Speaker 4 (21:52):
In the passing game.

Speaker 8 (21:53):
With Sam Hartman is gonna be able to utilize freshman
wide receivers Jaden Greathhouse and Rico flores So under the
name fight and I so given five and a half
on the road, but you lay those five and a half.
The undefeated season for Duke comes to an end, right,
And there's your little four game preview.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
How about that little bounce back for the fighting Irish.

Speaker 8 (22:13):
I' might have been a little more worried had they
won that game. Maybe that's one of those hangover games.
But given the atmosphere it's going to be, you know,
game day will be there. They are going to be
extremely fired up. I think it's a pissed off team,
to be honest with you, like, this is a Notre
Dame team that's pretty fired up about and disappointed and
how last week transpired.

Speaker 2 (22:33):
Now we're going to talk with Albert Breer coming up
next hour, and I know, you know, obviously him being
in Ohio state blow hard and you being a Notre
Dame alum, that's going to go sideways probably at some point,
as we got the preview going the couple of weeks
leading to the game, Here's.

Speaker 4 (22:47):
What I don't want him to lie about.

Speaker 8 (22:48):
And I'm sure, he will is he was texting me
because he was at a bar and he's a dude.

Speaker 4 (22:52):
It's look sixty to forty horse. Yeah, I got in
the stadium and.

Speaker 8 (22:57):
I'm looking around him like, yeah, at best.

Speaker 4 (22:59):
It's eighty twenty.

Speaker 8 (23:00):
And so if he comes on here and says anything
other and I hopefully if our listeners are still there
by the time he comes on, you will literally hear
like you're gonna.

Speaker 4 (23:09):
Hear a lie.

Speaker 8 (23:09):
You will hear a lie told on national radio. Because
there was not that many Ohio State fans. It was
definitely loud at times because of the Notre Dame fan
base there. So I can't wait for this lie to
transpire at some point later on the show.

Speaker 2 (23:23):
I could see Ohio State fans dominating a stadium just
about anywhere except for Notre Dame, Michigan, Penn State. And
is there anyone else that Ohio State wouldn't travel and
outdo the home fan base like those three feel like.

Speaker 4 (23:42):
Those of the Iowa City maybe Iowa City on this
cons Yeah, it maybe be hard to tell because they're
both red.

Speaker 6 (23:52):
Yeah that's true.

Speaker 5 (23:52):
Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 6 (23:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (23:54):
Georgia.

Speaker 2 (23:56):
Oh yeah, yeah, there's Dree and Alabama. Yeah, upon further review, you, yeah,
there's there's at least a few teams yeah a Bams stop. Yeah,
but now who gave it to you the worst throughout
the course of the week or after the game? Was
there any any a hole back home who was like
rubbing it in after that game went down, Brady Quinn?

Speaker 4 (24:17):
No one really rubbing it in.

Speaker 8 (24:18):
I mean, people seem to be perplexed about like my
take on Ryan Day, and they're like, how.

Speaker 3 (24:23):
Could well are you so critical of right Day?

Speaker 8 (24:25):
I'm like, I mean, is me calling his reaction bizarre? Critical?
Like is everyone in this world that flipping soft? We're like,
you can't look at how a coach reacted in that
moment and look at it and go that was odd,
Like that was bizarre. Because I'll be honest with you,
I'm probably like many other people. I didn't hear what

(24:47):
lou Holtz had said nor and then once I went
back and watched it, I go, that's offensive. Like if
you really go back through all the losses that Ryan
Day has lost in his tenure at a highest date,
only one time, only one time? All right, have they
been out rushed and haven't been able to stop the

(25:08):
opponent running the football have they won?

Speaker 4 (25:10):
That was Clemson. That's the only time other than that.
If they haven't won the ground attack.

Speaker 8 (25:15):
All right, and they you know, if they haven't rushed
for more yards and their defense and stopped like they've
lost those games versus Bama and you know, Georgia or whoever, Michigan,
whoeveryone's thrown in the conversation. They've lost those games. And
by the way, that doesn't that doesn't just stop with
Bryan Day. Like the Iowa Purdue losses that Urban Meyer faced,
they lost the rushing attack of both those games. And

(25:37):
so it's like everyone attributes running the football to like
physicality and toughness, and him saying that, like, oh, Notre
Dame is going to probably run the football for more, which,
by the way, they did, they out rushed Ohio State.
The reality was though they didn't make the players the
other place that they needed to in the critical moments,
so they lost the game. But him saying that wasn't

(25:58):
not true and I didn't I did. I didn't look
as like a slight to Ryan Day. He was just like, hey,
I think this Notre Dame is kind of team's built
like these teams have been in the past.

Speaker 4 (26:05):
That's what I think is gonna happen.

Speaker 8 (26:07):
So anyway, the reaction that I got from that was like, oh,
it's being critical. I was like, I mean, yeah, I
guess it's critical in the sense of, like if you're
a head coach after a game where you've got your
quarterback who has a tremendous drive down the stretch, your
players played their tails off in a physical bat to
win it, and you don't talk about them first off

(26:28):
of that win, Like moments after the win occurs like, yeah,
that struck me as a bit odd, Like is that
taking a shot? I don't know, but you could have
said whatever you want about Lou Holtz at your press
conference after the game. I don't know that that was
like the moment that I think as a player, i'd
want to be like if I'm calm a cord, like, dude,
I had third down throws in conversions, fourth down conversions, Like,
I'd want to hear my coach how excited he is

(26:50):
about with the step that I took as his quarterback.

Speaker 4 (26:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (26:53):
He came up very sensitive too, obviously, hearing the criticism
and hearing the words. And I was the same thing.
When I was watching it on the plane, I was like,
what is he talking about? What did lou Holds says?
I thought it was just something from months ago. And
then lou Holtz was asked about it this week and
just doubled down, Yeah, I'm sorry.

Speaker 4 (27:11):
Nothing he said. Wasn't it wasn't wasn't.

Speaker 2 (27:15):
It's great, man. I love this coach on coach crime. Man.
I think it's fantastic. It's great for the sport, it's
fun to do.

Speaker 8 (27:22):
Nobody there's there's some people are like, oh, if you
criticize you know, Ryan Daale, you're an idiot. And I'm like, well,
it's a lot of other idiotic things people do in
public sometimes, you know.

Speaker 4 (27:32):
And I don't.

Speaker 8 (27:33):
I don't know that that was necessarily, you know, idiotic anyway.

Speaker 5 (27:36):
So I don't think it. I don't think it was
a criticism. I think you gave your opinion. You know.

Speaker 8 (27:41):
I think as a player, like the defense, their defense
defense played great.

Speaker 4 (27:46):
Would you kind of be like, why is coach not
talking about us? Like you'm saying, I don't know.

Speaker 8 (27:53):
Another thing is like the Games on NBC and that
was like on Friday on ESPN, and so like I
think there's a disconnect to and him thinking like everyone
saw this. It's like, well, dude, no one knows what
you're talking about what lou Holtz said.

Speaker 5 (28:06):
I don't think too many people care outside of that situation.
I just it's an opinion, like it is what it is,
like moving on, Like who cares? Like you thought it
was bizarre, Like it doesn't matter, Like it is what
it is. Like you're allowed. You're entitled to feel that way.
Ryan Day is entitled to feel like he was slighted,

(28:27):
you know, lou Holtz is entitled to give his information.
I mean it's it's you know, their coaches, we're analysts,
their fans out there. Everybody's going to think what they're
going to think, how they're going to think it. Like,
I just get I find it weird when people condemn
others for having opinions, like they're going to come at

(28:48):
you for having an opinion about thinking it's bizarre, Like
it is what it is. I'm sure somebody thinks there's
something bizarre about the opinion that they have about something,
you know, and it is what it is.

Speaker 2 (29:00):

Time for picks against the spread?

Speaker 2 (31:54):
All right, guys, how would do last weekly?

Speaker 4 (31:56):
Guys?

Speaker 6 (31:57):
Want to look at last week? All right, well, let's uh.

Speaker 7 (31:59):
I think we're got to trend going, but I'll go
a little bit one by one here. You guys all
correctly predicted that Detroit would get it done against the Falcons.
You guys all correctly predicted that the Steelers would upset
the Raiders on Sunday Night Football. No, you all were
incorrect by laying the points with Dallas Cardinals, of course upset.

Speaker 2 (32:17):
Dallas on that one though.

Speaker 6 (32:19):
Brady and LeVar, you guys correctly predict.

Speaker 7 (32:21):
You guys correctly laid the points on the Chiefs to
get it done versus the Bears. That was a twelve
and a half point spread, and Jonas and LeVar, you
guys correctly took the Chargers to upset the Vikings.

Speaker 4 (32:31):
So LaVar is up one.

Speaker 7 (32:33):
LeVar went yeah, up one. On this week he went
four and one. Brady three or two? That is correct?

Speaker 3 (32:40):
Afar.

Speaker 2 (32:40):
Why are you so good at this?

Speaker 6 (32:41):
Man?

Speaker 5 (32:44):
Because I don't care?

Speaker 4 (32:47):
Hey, there is something to that.

Speaker 10 (32:49):
Man.

Speaker 8 (32:49):
When you don't care and you're out there just rolling
the dice, sometimes those things get hot.

Speaker 4 (32:52):
You know what I'm saying. You got to have the bar.
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (32:56):
Yeah, Man, I don't base it in the fact. I
based it in just how I feel about it. I
feel this vibe. I go with it, that's all. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (33:05):
I don't care, all right?

Speaker 2 (33:11):
So Lee, about what do we.

Speaker 6 (33:13):
Got this week?

Speaker 3 (33:14):
First game this week Falcons at Jaguars.

Speaker 6 (33:17):
That's the toy story. Funday game in London Falcons at Jags.
Technically at Jags. Jags are minus three. What do you
think of Brady?

Speaker 8 (33:27):
I'm gonna uh It's a tough one because you know,
the Jags offensive line hasn't played well. I think that's
one of the reasons why they've struggled a bit offensively.
But if the Falcons aren't cret of getting pressure, God,
Calvin Ridley versus old team, I think I'm gonna lay
the three points here, even though the Jacks have not

(33:47):
been great in London.

Speaker 6 (33:50):
True, what are you think of Jonas? I'm gonna take
the Jaguars.

Speaker 2 (33:53):
I mean, listen, and I do like the fact that
Lee you chose the Calvin Ridley Bowl for one of
our picks against the spread.

Speaker 6 (34:00):
Like that warms my heart. You know, he's the people's
wide reliever. So I'm gonna go with the Jags here.
Very welcome in What are you think of LaVar?

Speaker 5 (34:09):
Yeah, I think the Falcons are going to.

Speaker 2 (34:11):
Win nice outright or just taking.

Speaker 5 (34:14):
The three outright?

Speaker 4 (34:15):
They out wow money line.

Speaker 3 (34:20):
Next one up, Fellas Dolphins and Bills.

Speaker 6 (34:23):
Bills two and a half point favorites at home.

Speaker 4 (34:25):
Brady, I'm laying the points of the Bills. Man.

Speaker 2 (34:31):
It goes against my better judgment because I love Miami,
but I'm gonna take the Bills here. I think they
figure out a way, It's gonna be a tight game
like it was every game last year, even without two
in the playoff game.

Speaker 6 (34:45):
But I'll take the Bills here.

Speaker 5 (34:47):
LaVar taking Miami.

Speaker 8 (34:51):
Oh, he's hedging us that way. It's gonna make for
a big week though. Damn it's fading.

Speaker 6 (34:57):
I mean, I feel like, all right, I like it.

Speaker 3 (35:00):
Next one up, Ravens and Browns.

Speaker 6 (35:02):
All right, Brown's three point favorites at home.

Speaker 8 (35:06):
Oh, Brown's land the points. That defense is nasty.

Speaker 2 (35:11):
I'll take the Baltimore Ravens. Yeah, taking the Ravens. Not
buying any shot ty, yeah, big time. You know me,
I'm not not buying any of this crap. You know
you gotta Deshaun Watson's got a banged up shoulder, all
of that stuff going on with it, and forget about
the injuries to Baltimore. Let's just focus on the reality
that is Lamar Jackson six and three, I believe in

(35:34):
his career against the Cleveland Browns. I think that continues.
I'm gonna pull a LeVar here. I think Baltimore wins
this game.

Speaker 5 (35:40):
Outright on a second, that I'm taking Baltimore to win out.

Speaker 4 (35:46):
Wow, I'm on an island.

Speaker 8 (35:47):
Hereland gets the world.

Speaker 4 (35:51):
Ohio gets the world.

Speaker 5 (35:53):
We established that the other show day leg It.

Speaker 3 (35:58):
Next one up Cardinals at forty nine ers NFC West.

Speaker 7 (36:01):
I think this is the largest spread we've seen this season.
Niners are fourteen point favorites at home versus the Cards.

Speaker 8 (36:10):
I feel like I'm tempted to do the classic overreaction
where you see them beat Dallas and you're like, oh man,
But the funny thing is this, these divisional matchups has
always been close.

Speaker 4 (36:21):
I'm and Josh Dobbs.

Speaker 8 (36:24):
Has been awesome for them, Like he really has been
a great story. The defense is playing lights out, but
I think I'm gonna lay the fourteen points here.

Speaker 6 (36:33):
Well, that's a lot of damn points.

Speaker 8 (36:37):
Man, It's so many points for a divisional game since
Santa Clara. So you know, all like the techie people
have their phones out, probably like on some social media
app instead.

Speaker 4 (36:48):
Of watching the game.

Speaker 2 (36:49):
Oh it's daytime, so I don't know that they like
the sun. So I don't even know if it's going
to be a full stadium. I'm gonna take Arizona in point.
I'm gonna take Arizona get in the fourteen. I just
that's a lot of damn points for a team that
plays really hard.

Speaker 7 (37:04):
Give me a backdoor cover. That's what I need, all right,
fellas Land the game, Last one up? I got you,
LeVar with laying the points on from stan Fred Last
one Chief said Jets Sunday Night Football Chiefs favored on
the road minus nine at the Jets.

Speaker 4 (37:21):
I'm I'm gonna lay the points. I don't feel great
about it. I actually think the uh.

Speaker 8 (37:24):
The Jets defense and their ground attack may like keep
this one close, but I'll lay the points.

Speaker 2 (37:30):
I'm gonna take the Jets getting nine points at home.
I'm team Zach Wilson. Now did you think of.

Speaker 5 (37:37):
Yeah, I think I'm gonna take I'm gonna take the
Jets too. Not the win, but yeah, they won't beat
them by more than that.

Speaker 2 (37:44):
Yeah, there it is.

Speaker 4 (37:45):
I see you far.

Speaker 2 (37:46):
You're really get into this spreading them here.

Speaker 5 (37:51):
I might go undefeated on this one, like I might.
I might get Oh he's right, I feel pretty coty it.

Speaker 4 (37:56):
Yeah,
