Give this you're listening to Fox Sports Radio. Yeah, what
you know about it? Far?
Speaker 3 (00:41):
Oh? Why it gott be me?
Speaker 4 (00:43):
May you?
Speaker 2 (00:44):
Brady? What you know about it?
Speaker 5 (00:48):
I don't really know what he's referring to. I don't know,
but it's a cool beat.
Speaker 3 (00:52):
I like it.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
Yeah, definitely. What's the name of the song? By the way,
for anybody listening that you know, wants to look this up?
Not in the ocean. It seems like it'd be a problem.
Maybe something went wrong.
Speaker 5 (01:06):
I mean, technically, isn't that where the space shuttles usually
land when they come back?
Speaker 3 (01:11):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (01:11):
Yeah, really is that the point of the song?
Speaker 3 (01:14):
Sam?
Speaker 6 (01:15):
I think yeah, it's like they it's like a successful mission.
You plunge in the ocean in your capsule you get out.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
Oh yeah, they hit the parachutes right and then they
launch out of that. Who knows, Tom Hanks, Wow.
Speaker 5 (01:27):
That's your interpretation or you know that's what the song means.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
I don't know. That's what I think. That's pretty that's
pretty deep.
Speaker 5 (01:32):
If that's what it is, man, I like it.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
It actually is if you think about it. You know,
because space the ocean, we are all one, you know,
we are one? Yeah, damn right, Well we cleared that up.
It is two pros and a couple of other here one.
I don't know. I have no idea. But furthermore, in
(01:56):
the words of a good man I heard once say,
who cares? We transition over smoothly here on two pros
and a cup of Joe, which, by the way, is
done here live from the ti raq dot com studios.

(02:18):
We've been looking forward to this for months now, ever
since Sean Payton shot his mouth off about Nathaniel Hackett
and the poor job he did in Denver. Everybody's been
counting down the days to Week five. What is Week
five going to look like? Because that's when the Jets
go to Mile High to take on the Denver Broncos,
the revenge game for Nathaniel Hackett. The problem is Aaron
(02:41):
Rodgers is injured and he's not going to be a
part of it, and he was one of the most
vocal standing up for his coach, Nathaniel Hackett. But there
still is some players there in New York who have
spoken about sticking up and playing well for Nathaniel Hackett
and doing it for their guy. And so Nathaniel Hackett,
the offensive coordinator the Jets, was asked about it, but
(03:02):
is trying to downplay the matchup as we get ready
for Sunday's game.
Speaker 7 (03:06):
Let's put it this way, everyone, this game is about
those guys out on that field. This game is not
about me. It's about me helping them during the week. Well,
I just want the guys to go out there and
play a great game. That's all we're looking for. And
what has happened is in the past we all move forward.
Coaches definitely just focus on trying to get the guys
in the best positions, and that's what we're doing right now.
I haven't really watched their offense. I work primarily with
(03:28):
the offense. I know there's some people in that organization
that I really care about a lot, and you know
that's part of it. I just I just want to
go get a win.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
So are we buying that from Nathaniel Hackett or does
he have something special design and carved up so that
he can take advantage of that vomit bucket of the
Broncos defense that they've rolled out the past couple of weeks.
How's this going to be?
Speaker 5 (03:53):
I mean, I think they're going to be aggressive, you know.
I think if they feel like they can score will
they're not going to limit themselves. You already heard Robert
Saalaz say earlier this week Breeze hallis no longer on
a pitch count. I could have found that interesting that
a head coach would say that, only because like, why
do you need to put a lot of information out there,
especially if you're essentially saying to everyone, Hey, we're gonna
(04:15):
use this guy a lot. You know, he's gonna get
a ton of touches. But I look at it and
think that you'd be hard pressed to not think behind
closed doors, there is not some a lot of players
fired up to try to prove Sean Payton wrong. I mean,
even the Mike McDaniel Miami Dolphins, you know, putting up
seventy on them, I kind of felt like was a
(04:38):
little bit of a subtle message. And I feel like
the Jets not in the same situation offensively, but I'm
sure if they get the opportunity to keep their foot
hammering down on the accelerator, they will, and they will
make sure that they make a statement too, and the
way they play and not gonna you know, sit out
there and use the words what their pads talk.
Speaker 3 (05:02):
We thought the Coats looked pretty pretty good last night, right,
or excuse me, the Bears. We thought the Bears looked
pretty good last night. Yeah, I mean the Broncos pulled
out a victory against the Bears. I mean, is there
a chance that maybe the Dolphins caught them, you know,
(05:24):
off guard, so to speak. Maybe maybe the Washington Commanders
who lost to the Bears last night, who actually beat
the Broncos, maybe maybe they just weren't where they needed
to be at that moment in time with Sean Payton.
I mean, is there the possibility that Denver could be
(05:47):
better than what we you know, what they have shown
so far. No, you don't think so.
Speaker 2 (05:54):
No, they lost to the Raiders, they lost to the
Commanders at home. Both those teams stink, and they should
have lost.
Speaker 3 (06:01):
To the Bears. They didn't lose to the Oh they
did lose to the Commanders, Yeah, yeah, they did.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
They should have lost to the Bears too. I think
Denver's bad, and I think Sean Payton knows that no
defense is atrocious.
Speaker 5 (06:15):
I mean, it doesn't help with you just for outright
release Randy Gregory, who you signed to a five year,
seventy million dollar deal.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
I don't know. I think I think we can make
it about you know, former coaches going back and playing
playing against the team that they coached before. But I
think I think it'll be a competitive game. I do.
I think it'll be a competitive game. It'll be competitive.
(06:48):
No one says it's not gonna be competitive. I'm just saying, like,
as far as how you know the the storylines play
into this, you'd have to think, and I'm sure you've
been a part of the staffs or coaches were like
something was said and they handle it well publicly, but
behind closed doors they're like, no, no, no, no, no, this is
how things are going to go. I mean Denver is
(07:08):
given to and a half points at home. I mean
it's not like this game isn't predicted to be close.
It's just more about how things are going to go up.
They get a little loose, you know, I mean, can't
we couldn't we run it? The same for for Denver,
Like Aaron Rodgers came out and was like, you know,
keep my coach's name out your mouth. I mean, he
(07:30):
could just be could just really turn into a gang
war then, you know the Broncos, the Bees versus versus
the people's snatching chains, you know, snatching chains.
Speaker 2 (07:40):
Man, I forgot that was pretty great. But that was
Crabtree and it was oh man, snatching chains off somebody's neck.
That was great. Man. Did you guys ever find yourself
at a like you don't think that? Robert Sala comes to
(08:02):
Nathaniel Hacket at some point says, hey, if you got
something you want to throw in there, you got full
full reins, like full, you know, go ahead and do it.
We're giving you a free pass, do what you need
to do if you want to get your licks in
if you've got something there, Like what if they is
there the potential they run up the score, Like if
they're up by ten points with under two minutes left,
(08:23):
you know, does he just go deep? You know, if
Denver's got there.
Speaker 5 (08:26):
There's there's no four minute offense. There's just I think
they try to go score and they try to you know,
prove their point a little bit for sure, or even
like a fake kneal and like you know throw that
would be the outside or something like that.
Speaker 2 (08:38):
That would be awesome, just the old Dan Marino fake
the kneel down and then just you know, fire one
up to Garrett Wilson.
Speaker 3 (08:45):
So you guys think that the Jets are the better team. Oh,
I'm not saying that. I mean the Broncos are given
it two and a half. They're obviously slated as at
least the team that's predicted to win. I'm just saying,
this isn't This isn't a I think you're missed the point, LeVar. Yeah,
this isn't a who's winning or losing.
Speaker 5 (09:02):
We're just talking about whether or not the opportunity presents
itself for Nathaniel Hackett to get back against Sean Payne
at some point in this game.
Speaker 3 (09:08):
But wouldn't that be winning the game?
Speaker 5 (09:11):
Yeah, ultimately you'd like to, but you're also like if
their offense puts up like four hund and fifty total yards, like,
let's say they do what the Bears did last night, right,
they put up a ton of yards in points, but
you end up losing. Like, I mean, obviously, there's only
so much Nathaniel Hackett can't control.
Speaker 3 (09:30):
You'd love to win.
Speaker 5 (09:31):
He'd love that for that to be the thing, but
there's other ways he can probably get his little his
point across.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
Because all those guys with the Jets that were speaking
yesterday about Nathaniel Hackett, they love him, Like everything you
hear from everybody is, man, he's a great guy, and.
Speaker 5 (09:46):
All the players he coaches love him.
Speaker 2 (09:48):
And so I just I wonder if there is And
I know you don't want to make that more important
than quote unquote the win, but I just I can't
imagine that Robert Sala and them aren't looking at this going. Man,
if we get an opportunity, we're going to stick it
to Sean Payton, Like if we get a chance. And
I just wonder if you guys were on a spot
like that, if a coach would ever pull you aside
(10:09):
and said, hey, we know what's going on here. We'll
give you an opportunity to get one in. Like we
want to win the game, but if there's an opportunity,
we're absolutely going to take advantage of it. And also,
what's the handshaking to look? Like, how's that going to
go down? And does Aaron Rodgers travel to this game?
Did they send him out to this game to be
on the sideline to be part of it. I mean,
(10:31):
there's a lot going on here.
Speaker 5 (10:33):
You know what I was sticking to based on hard
knocks at the end of the season. Do you remember
when Robert Salatt talks about how WOD coaches come up
to him and say, hey, your team plays really hard.
Speaker 3 (10:42):
What his response is?
Speaker 2 (10:43):
What did he say? Again, Well, I.
Speaker 5 (10:46):
Can't say it on air. He basically said, yeah, f
f that or f you you know like that that's
what he's sticking his head. He's like, he doesn't say,
that's the coach, that's what he's thinking. Yeah, I'd be
curious of Sean Payin, like whether he was aware of it.
Speaker 3 (10:59):
Or didn't, but and then throws that day at him
at the end of the game really hard.
Speaker 5 (11:05):
I'm saying that at the beginning of the game, if
he just comes out and makes that comment to him,
you guys play.
Speaker 3 (11:10):
Very physical brand of football. Yeah, but take this.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
Al because I also I also don't think Sean Payton
strike He doesn't strike me as someone who's so contrite
that he wouldn't still take a dig in this spot
if he got an opportunity to. Because if it gets contentious,
and say Denver wins this game, he's gonna the handshake afterwards.
I could see him saying something even though, look, if
(11:35):
Sean Payton and Robert Sala got.
Speaker 3 (11:39):
Would destroy him physically.
Speaker 2 (11:43):
You think that's a ten eight. You think he gets
past one round between those guys.
Speaker 3 (11:47):
No, no, yeah, no, I don't think so. Man sala
is pretty jacked.
Speaker 5 (11:52):
He might be up there for like top coach to
win in the Royal Rumble, I mean like Dan Campbell
ye saw lah. Yeah, Then after that, I'm not sure
I have.
Speaker 3 (12:03):
To I think there's a tremendous fall off after that.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
Yeah, who would be the final four? Like, what what
do we think of here? I mean Sean McDermott was.
Speaker 5 (12:11):
Mike Tom would be in the mix. Mike Tom would be.
Speaker 3 (12:13):
In the mix.
Speaker 2 (12:13):
Sean McDermott was a wrestler.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
Sean mcdermould be in the mix.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
Yeah, Ryan's good will definitely.
Speaker 3 (12:21):
Be in the mix. Definitely would be in there. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (12:25):
Nick Sirianni strikes me as somebody who would have brast. Yeah,
but he would bring he'd brings who else.
Speaker 3 (12:36):
Yeah, they'd be Mike Daniels sleep in the corner, finger
thumb in his mouth like knocked out.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
Damn.
Speaker 3 (12:46):
Some of these dudes would be knocked out quick body
slam supplex fool Nelson.
Speaker 2 (12:53):
Sam, who's your who's your dark horse? Uh? I just said,
and I just said, Sean McVay. He looks like he
lifts knocked out.
Speaker 3 (13:01):
Okay, well I did say it's not very big, Sam.
Speaker 2 (13:05):
Sean McVay.
Speaker 3 (13:06):
Yeah, little dude, I know, but he question that.
Speaker 6 (13:08):
He looks he looks like he bench presses. That's all
I'm saying. Six foot, I have no idea five sevens
all right, then he'll get he's got leverage on you.
Speaker 2 (13:20):
Then he's five to ten.
Speaker 3 (13:22):
I didn't know what was off.
Speaker 5 (13:23):
Yeah, that's what I thought people.
Speaker 2 (13:25):
Always look bigger on TV. LaVar's got in good shape,
LaVar's got Sean McVay at the Breeders.
Speaker 3 (13:30):
Cup next like Tom cruise out joint.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
And listen. Now, it's gonna be a fun one, man,
It's gonna be a it's gonna be a full one.
What's wrong, Andy Reid?
Speaker 3 (13:42):
Andy Reid? Come on, man, Andy be struggling to make
it to the fifty to shake hands?
Speaker 2 (13:48):
Damn?
Speaker 5 (13:49):
Wow, messed up?

joe here on Fox Sports Radio. It's Lebar Arrington, Brady Quinn,
Jonas knocks with you. By the way, I will give
Sam credit for this. I thought we were going to
be inundated with music from the Darkness, which, oh it's coming.
Oh my god. I have one song I'm gonna play later. Okay,
Lee and Sam are going to see the Darkness? Who are?
(15:47):
They're an awful band. Shut your mouth. But it's heard
one song of their it's a perfect name for Lee
to goo see. That's for sure we'll be entering the darkness.
Speaker 5 (16:00):
I did not Wow, I didn't know we were in
that direction.
Speaker 6 (16:03):
The Darkness Sam. They only have one song. No, they
have a lot of incredible songs.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
They are a fantastic I believe in the thing called
love or something that was their big like original hit
from their first record.
Speaker 5 (16:14):
How does that song go?
Speaker 2 (16:16):
Come on?
Speaker 6 (16:16):
Sam sing just a little bit of my heart? Yeah,
it's a great song. But they have other really good songs.
Speaker 2 (16:24):
Thank you?
Speaker 3 (16:24):
How does the chorus go? Though?
Speaker 6 (16:26):
I believe there you go?
Speaker 2 (16:32):
I did any false settle there? I can play that
one later. That was impressive. We'll play some, believe me think.
Oh man, Lee, You're gonna be at the bar the
entire time. Absolutely.
Speaker 9 (16:45):
Sam sent me like six songs yesterday and I didn't
recognize a single.
Speaker 3 (16:50):
One of them.
Speaker 2 (16:52):
No, I know because they Yeah, they had that big
one hit hold on.
Speaker 5 (16:56):
So it's really Sam's a big fan of the band,
not so much.
Speaker 3 (16:58):
Le Well. I am.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (17:01):
I've been a fan of this band since I was
a sophomore in high school. I said, Lee, do you
want to go with me to this group? I have
never seen him before, and yeah, we're going. Tickets weren't
too bad, So it's gonna be at the Wilter excited
to Lee is going to have a great time.
Speaker 3 (17:15):
A social support Lee's got to replace you know who.
He wants to go seeds. He's gotta find a new
niche you know that is.
Speaker 9 (17:28):
Yeah, I'm gonna show Sam the Metro. He's never gone
on the La Metro before.
Speaker 2 (17:33):
We can't wait to get shived. Yeah, it's it's such
an unnecessary form of transportation, Lee, like you just you
love adding an element to something.
Speaker 6 (17:42):
That drop us off. Kind of close, doesn't it Lee?
You looked up the route?
Speaker 2 (17:45):
Yes? And yes I do like a little element of danger.
Have you seen who rides the Metro? I see on
the news who rides the met Metro.
Speaker 3 (17:54):
And hobos d Yes?
Speaker 5 (17:56):
Have you ever, actually, by the way, like looked up
any directions that Lee's a part of. Because Lee is
not very good navigating.
Speaker 3 (18:04):
I don't know, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (18:05):
Why say this. They got us around Dublin just.
Speaker 5 (18:09):
Fine, No, no that's not true.
Speaker 9 (18:12):
That's I found all the speakeasies. I just go, I
just keep going downstairs.
Speaker 2 (18:19):
Well, no them, Yeah, that's what Lee does nosies. Okay,
Lebar I'm glad you brought that up because Lee, because
I thought it was a one time thing in Ireland.
He did it in South Carolina where we were walking
down the main street and Lee's like, you, my scent
is taking me here. Like he literally Lis lifts his
nose in the air and he smells for what the
(18:40):
hotspot is? Am I lying?
Speaker 4 (18:41):
Lee?
Speaker 2 (18:42):
No? Yeah, that's that's really what he does. Yeah, Like,
my scent is bringing me to here. Remember remember Brady,
we walked down some alley and it looked like it
was a brothel in Dublin. And Lee's like, I'm feeling
I'm sensing this, and you and I are looking at
each other like, Lee, you've never been here. You have
no idea where we're going. And that's their own moonshine
(19:05):
here I.
Speaker 3 (19:05):
Can I don't.
Speaker 5 (19:06):
I don't recall any of this. I just remember Lee
being all for with directions. His sense of smell may
be fine, but he was not good with directions.
Speaker 2 (19:13):
Yeah, well listen, Uh, just just find if you can
find your way out of that concert. League You're doing good.
Just get away from that crummy band as soon as
they're played at some bowling alley.
Speaker 5 (19:24):
Sam wilbre Time, how does it go?
Speaker 2 (19:26):
No? No, once was enough? Sam, We forget. People are
gonna turn off the radio.
Speaker 4 (19:31):
Here's the problem is.
Speaker 5 (19:31):
You can't you can't say you love a band if
you're like embarrassed even sing the lyrics.
Speaker 2 (19:36):
I sang it earlier. Wasn't that good enough? Yeah? Come
on one more time though, it was really good. Thank you,
Come on, Sam, and that'll do it. And before you
do turn off the radio, we must let you know
about Graduate Hotels because Graduate Hotels your college game day
(19:57):
headquarters with more than thirty hotels and all your favorite
college town on the book of stay this season and
save up to thirty percent with the code two pros
agraduate hotels dot com. That's two Prosagraduatehotels dot com. So
this is something that Brady Quinn started doing a couple
of weeks ago. He started handing out some winners in
college football. It's a little thing we'd like to call
Quinn's wins and it's back.
Speaker 5 (20:20):
Come on, that's right. And we started off in college
station as the number eleven Alabama Crimson Tide head to
College says take on the Aggies. Now, this line earlier
in the week was Bama giving Texas a and M
two and a half. It's now down to one point.
That might concern some people, but not me. I'm laying
(20:41):
the point with Bama hare because all right, don't look now,
Bama's ripped off a couple double digit wins reversus a
couple SEC opponents the past couple of weeks. They found
their rhythm within the offense, running the football Jalen Neuro
their quarterback as that Will McClellan and Roydale Williams in
(21:02):
the backfield, and the Bama defense has been lights out
since they're lost to Texas. They've only given up on
average two hundred and seventy yards total yards per game
and three total touchdowns. Now and M's missing the starting quarterback,
Connor Wigman. But Max Johnson, Yes, that's the son of
Brad Johnson, the Super Bowl winning quarterback.
Speaker 3 (21:23):
He's played well in his spot duty.
Speaker 5 (21:24):
In his absence, five touchdowns, won only one interception. And look,
I think the time their biggest key is they're going
to have to slow down the dynamic playmaker that is
wide receiver for Evan Stewart for text and m who's
got a TD catch at each of the last two games,
a sixth in the conference and receiving yards. The matchup
will ultimately be won and lost on the line of
scrimmage for Texas AM's defensive front that's very talented, very
(21:48):
good versus the rushing attack of Bama. But I think
Bama goes in, they figure this thing out, they get
another win in a tough environment. So lay the point
with and also the unders the best play. Next up,
the Wildcats head to Athens, Georgia, to take on the Bulldogs.
Kentucky coming off their big win over Florida and now
(22:11):
vaults them into the top twenty five and number twenty.
George is still the number one team in the country
and this game is sitting on a spread of fourteen
and a half points. That's a lot and especially considering
this is not your same Georgia defense we saw the
past two years.
Speaker 3 (22:27):
All Right.
Speaker 5 (22:27):
They're giving up two hundred and nineteen yards on the
ground and two touchdowns to Auburn last week, and they're
second to last and the SEC with sacks only eight
on the year. They're not getting as much pressure, they're
not stopping opponents quite as much. And if you watch
college football, you'll know the name Ray Davis, the running
back for Kentucky. You had a huge game last week,
two hundred and eighty yards on the ground, three touchdowns.
(22:50):
He's leading the sec and yards from scrimmage and then
Devin Lear, the transferred quarterback for Kentucky. He has turned
the football over a little bit this season, but he
gives them the ability to that's the field vertically. So
this is a game where we've seen George and some
close contests. I think this is another one. Kentucky keeps
it within the fourteen and a half points, you take
those points. Next up, Notre Dame heads to Louisville, that
(23:13):
top twenty five matchup between these two teams to take
on an undefeated Louisville team that's really been highlighted by
their rushing attack.
Speaker 3 (23:21):
Jordanette running running back for them, has been a.
Speaker 5 (23:24):
Phenomenal this year. Jack Plumber, the transfer quarterback that came
from Purdue with Jeff Brohm down to Louisville, has been
doing a good job this season eleven touchdowns, six interceptions.
But this is gonna be a tough matchup for the
Notre Dame fighting Iris. This is back to back weeks now,
after Ohio State last week beating Duke on the road,
now going on the road again in primetime to beat Louisville,
(23:47):
and I think Louisville's up for the task. So this
is gonna be a close one. Notre Dame wins, but
you take the six and a half points here in Louisville,
and then finally the Red River shootout, We've got Oklahoma
and Tech. There are the Dallas Fairgrounds. This line's changed
a little bit this week. Texas was giving six points.
This line's now down to five. In a lot of books,
(24:09):
and look, this has been going to be billed as
two high powered offensive attacks with Quinn Viewers for Texas
Dylan Gabriel for Oklahoma. But the truth of the matter
is these are the top two defense in the Big
Twelve right now. So it's going to be more of
a battle in the trenches in my opinion, and it's
really gonna come down to this, can Oklahoma's defense stop
Jonathan Brooks for Texas, who is quietly putting together one
(24:32):
of the best seasons in the Big Twelve. He leads
the conference in rushing yards five rushing touchdowns this season
as well, and UT is averaging forty yards or more
on the ground when they faced against a stiffer competition,
He's been able to average that more so than Oklahoma.
So I think it actually comes down to the running game.
If Texas can still remain balanced in the rushing attack,
(24:55):
ewers will make enough big plays to examer Worthy and
ad Mitchell and I think Texas covers the number here.
So you lay the five points here with Texas.
Speaker 2 (25:06):
Bingo, Bengo. Now, what did you have we been? Have
we kept track of your results over the past couple
of weeks?
Speaker 5 (25:16):
No, unless Lee has, But I've I go back and
look through it and come up with the tally.
Speaker 2 (25:21):
For you if you had to guess on the right
side of things.
Speaker 5 (25:26):
Yeah, yeah, no, I mean some of these are very
similar to another job, because I have to pick a
bunch for another job. So that has been over five
hunderd this year.
Speaker 2 (25:36):
And by the way, that Notre Dame covering against Duke
never in doubt last week, Never do that, never in dow.
Speaker 5 (25:42):
This won't be tough. I'll tell you much this much.
Jeff bram As a coach. I respect a ton from
talking with him. You know, former quarterback. But Jahar John Jordan,
their running back. He's leading the ACC in Russia. He's
he's gonna be a tough out. Notre Name struggle to
stop the rushing attack last week with with Duke and
Riley Leonard their quarterback as part of it, and they
(26:04):
run a lot of trick plays, Like I'm telling you,
Louis at some point will try a flee flicker Like
that's just Jeff Bram. He always he always has a
flee flicker, some sort of gadget a trick play in
his back pocket that he breaks out for big moments.
Speaker 3 (26:16):
So it's gonna be a tough for you last weekend.
For me, I was watching it, I was like, I
wonder if Q is as stressed.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
It was awesome. That was a great game, great finished.
Speaker 3 (26:27):
It was a great game, good environment.
Speaker 5 (26:29):
It wasn't stressful, and I don't I don't stress over
any of this stuff. I obviously pull for those guys.
You know you're root for him, But the uh looked
at Sam Hardman made a very heady play, you know,
taking off running the wide receiver.
Speaker 3 (26:42):
Group's been banged up.
Speaker 5 (26:43):
They should be healthier for this week's matchup. But uh,
you know, estimate breaking through. You know everyone's plan was
to kick a field goal and he's like, nope, I'm
calling game right now.
Speaker 3 (26:54):
I'm gonna I'm gonna take this thing into the end zone.
Speaker 2 (26:57):
Yeah, Marcus Freeman looked pretty relieved at the end of
that thing. That's a pretty impressive bounce back win, too,
especially coming off heartbreak the week before, and then Penn
State's on a buye this week. There's a bunch of
teams that are on buys this week. What was What
did you do in college on the bye week? Like,
do you guys just throw a rager kager on the
Saturday that you're not playing a game, or you just
(27:18):
get together watch College Football Day? What's that?
Speaker 3 (27:21):
What do you do? Man? Well? I only had two
two two times that were matter because freshman year I
ain't really do anything. Sophomore and junior year, we used
to go to I had a whole lot of teammates
from Virginia, so this is like homecoming time of the year.
(27:42):
So we would go to like Virginia I want to
say Virginia Union, something like that. Virginia Union or Virginia
State is a HBCU. We used to go to their
their homecomings Rgia. Yeah, and we get like one room
and it'd be like six seven of us. Damn. So
imagine that sleep that sleep set up.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
Would you get like a cooler of beers? Would you
go like rolling rock cans just so you could fit
more in the cooler. You go bottles.
Speaker 3 (28:13):
What do we think? What you get? We weren't drinking.
We weren't drinking. We got some good, good home some
some southern home cooking. You know got you know what
became my favorite was this strawberry. It was like a
strawberry type of like sponge cake or something like that.
(28:35):
It was kind of maybe strawberry pound cake. Maybe it
was shortcake. It wasn't strawberry shortcake. It's like a pound
a pound cake, but it was strawberry. It was freaking amazing.
Whatever it was. That was kind of when I got
introduced to it. But yeah, it's like fried chicken, man
(28:55):
fried chicken. When we went down.
Speaker 2 (28:56):
You don't have one cocktail.
Speaker 3 (28:58):
I don't recall drinking, to be honest.
Speaker 2 (29:01):
Like using somebody's fake ID. You go to a liquor store,
buy some mad Dog twenty twenty porte, all right, or.
Speaker 5 (29:08):
Bye week is probably a little more what you're thinking of,
they're Jonas. Early on I didn't. I would just go
back home. But I remember my twenty first birthday fell
on the bye week my junior year, and so we
went out had a good time, like most people go
and celebrate their twenty first birthday, I had way too
(29:29):
many shots. Did not end well for me. I think
I was playing dude, where's my car? Like the next day,
so like trying to figure out like where someone had
left it at one point. But it was I mean, honestly,
like the problem with that was there was an incident
that ensued from us all being out at that bar.
I was not a parter or aware of it, but
(29:51):
that was the end of our fun going out that year,
so it was house parties from that moving forward.
Speaker 2 (29:58):
Well, yeah, you're one of those what Lee, Lee, you
got any comments on his behavior? I want to know
what happened? Yeah, I think.
Speaker 5 (30:09):
I think a couple of guys on our team and
like got into it with some local guys there and
it ended up being like they almost something that the
local guys then tried to like jump them when the
boar had closed, I guess, and uh, that didn't work.
Speaker 3 (30:26):
Out for the for the local guys there.
Speaker 5 (30:27):
But bottom line is like word got back, you know,
a couple of guys were punished and then the entire
team was told like we could not go out damn.
So Basically we just had to resort to house parties.
Speaker 2 (30:40):
Listen, don't don't step to Jess Samarga. That's what happens,
you know, get correct.
Speaker 5 (30:44):
Yeah, you can go name names. It definitely wasn't Jeff.
Speaker 2 (30:47):
So just trying to figure this out, all right. So
there it is two pro We were just.
Speaker 3 (30:54):
We were trying to talk to girls. That was what
we did on our bot. We tried to talk to girls. Yeah,
I was looking for like a Kas Delta's, you know,
Sigmas or not Sigmas, Zeta's Zeta's Yeah, no, not Sigmas, Paul,
(31:16):
you know, Kappa Sweethearts, stuff like that. We were we
was on the yard man, you know, but nobody knew
who we were. Don't know that? Yeah, yeah, I know,
y'all don't. It's cultural. Well, we don't have a Greek
system that are damn y'all don't. No, that's part of
the like one of the biggest differences.
Speaker 5 (31:35):
So a lot of the like eighty percent of the
student population stays in the dorms, so there's a lot
more what they call dorm pride. So kind of where
you like, where you stayed is like where you're was, like,
was there like your hood, was your.
Speaker 3 (31:46):
Frat or your right. Oh yeah, yeah, it's interesting. Enjoy
me some sores. Shouts out to all.
Speaker 2 (31:56):
Of y'all the South projects.
Speaker 3 (31:57):
Man, I'm married one, I'm married Delta. Yeah, did you
I do it? I'll do it, damn right.
Speaker 2 (32:06):

FI five lines not those kind of lines, five picks,
five spreads. Time for picks against the spread?
Speaker 2 (33:55):
All right, Lee, film damn away from Lee. Let's look
back on last week? How the hell do we do?
Speaker 4 (34:04):
Yeah?
Speaker 9 (34:04):
Quick recap of last week. It was a close one
again with the Starting with London. We had Falcons at Jags.
Both Jonas and Brady laid the three points with the Jaguars.
Speaker 2 (34:13):
Good job by that one. They won twenty three to seven. Yeah,
easy money.
Speaker 9 (34:18):
We had Dolphins, had Bills again Jonas and Brady, Brady,
you guys laid the points Bills two and a half.
Speaker 2 (34:25):
They won forty eight to twenty. Yeah, moving up money.
Moving on Ravens and Browns.
Speaker 9 (34:30):
Jonas and LeVar correctly predicted the Browns would uh no,
I'm sorry, correctly took Baltimore in that one.
Speaker 2 (34:37):
Of course, they won twenty eight to three.
Speaker 5 (34:38):
Can I plead the case though, the fact that Deshaun
Watson decided not to play Saturday? Try that swung the
line like six points. Not that it would have mattered,
but it probably would have changed my pic.
Speaker 2 (34:51):
Okay, So what is that?
Speaker 3 (34:52):
So?
Speaker 8 (34:53):
Lee?
Speaker 2 (34:53):
How are we counting that?
Speaker 3 (34:54):
Then?
Speaker 2 (34:54):
Is there an asterisk there or what's going on?
Speaker 8 (34:56):
No? There is not.
Speaker 9 (34:58):
It's pretty harshly. It's a major injury. I mean, Brady
just said it. If you could have swung the points,
it was still twenty eight to three.
Speaker 5 (35:05):
But yeah, but I feel but I also would have
changed my bet.
Speaker 2 (35:08):
Lee, but man at least harsh, Yes, damn keeping it close.
Speaker 3 (35:14):
To stay strong, Lee, Yeah, old crab, don't stay strong guys.
Speaker 9 (35:22):
For Cardinals at Niners, Jonas won the back door cover
for Arizona, but the Niners they took care of that
fourteen point spread.
Speaker 2 (35:28):
They won thirty five to six. So why should that
Why should I be docked a point there? When zach
Ertz can't catch the ball?
Speaker 5 (35:35):
Well, I would also say in Hollywood.
Speaker 3 (35:37):
Brown have an opportunity.
Speaker 5 (35:38):
Yeah, both those guys, it was really two miscatches.
Speaker 2 (35:41):
So I think that also Lee, uh could put an
asterisk next to that as well too.
Speaker 9 (35:45):
I think we'll just cross out Week four. But to
lay it all out there, Jonas and LeVar, you guys
took the Jets. They covered right there. Chief Chiefs won
the game twenty three to twenty, but the Jets covered.
So in the end, Jonas, you actually won this week
and we four four to one. LeVar and Brady, you
guys tied three two. Right now, the total is LeVar
(36:05):
fourteen and six, Jonas eleven and nine, Brady ten and ten.
Speaker 3 (36:09):
Yeah, I'll play LeVar.
Speaker 2 (36:11):
You're fourteen and six.
Speaker 5 (36:12):
You're fourteen and six.
Speaker 2 (36:13):
It really good, man, that's professional gambler status. Yeah, right there,
all right?
Speaker 5 (36:20):
You know, LeVar, why do you think you're so good
at this?
Speaker 3 (36:24):
Cous Man, It's just a feeling man. Yeah, he's gotta
go feeling.
Speaker 5 (36:28):
I see what you said.
Speaker 2 (36:29):
I thought it was gonna say what he said last week.
Speaker 5 (36:31):
Yeah, what I don't care, don't go, I don't care.
Speaker 2 (36:35):
Messed up man. All right, Well let's say we'll run
out of times.
Speaker 4 (36:39):
All right.
Speaker 2 (36:39):
Week five, we're starting in London.
Speaker 4 (36:41):
Jaguars and Bills.
Speaker 2 (36:43):
Bills are five five and a half point favorites.
Speaker 5 (36:46):
Jags, I'll lay the five and a half here.
Speaker 3 (36:49):
I'm gonna lay them as well.
Speaker 4 (36:52):
Moving on next one up, Panthers and Lions.
Speaker 2 (36:56):
Lions ten point favorites at home.
Speaker 5 (37:00):
I'm gonna lay the points. It's a big number of
I'm belay the points they get. Jameis Williams back to
by the way.
Speaker 2 (37:05):
Yeah, I'm gonna u.
Speaker 3 (37:07):
I'm gonna take I'm gonna take Carolina.
Speaker 2 (37:09):
I mean in honor of Jamison Williams coming back from
a gambling suspension, which, by the way, the NFL quietly,
you know, reducing those suspensions because they realized it was
a bit too much. I'm gonna go ahead and I'm
gonna take the Lions here. Carolina does not look good
and I think Detroit gets it done in a big way.
Speaker 4 (37:28):
Next one up, Saints, said Patriots.
Speaker 9 (37:30):
It has been a pick them, but right now on DraftKings,
Patriots are one point favorite at home versus the Saints.
Speaker 2 (37:37):
It's a weird one.
Speaker 5 (37:38):
Hard did not look healthy last week.
Speaker 3 (37:39):
He didn't look good.
Speaker 5 (37:42):
It's tough ever picking against Bill Belichick. But I don't know, man,
the Saints are the better team. I'll take the point
of the Saints.
Speaker 2 (37:51):
Kind of a weird line though, though right like it
feels yeah, it feels a little odd, yeah, And because
of that, I'm taking the Patriots. Something's up.
Speaker 3 (38:02):
Saints are gonna win.
Speaker 2 (38:04):
Damn like it, guys.
Speaker 4 (38:07):
Next one up, Chiefs and Vikings.
Speaker 2 (38:09):
Chiefs are three and a half point favorites on the
road at Minnesota. I'm gonna take Minnesota. I don't know why.
I just got a weird feeling. I'm gonna take Minnesota.
Speaker 3 (38:20):
In this game.
Speaker 5 (38:23):
I'm gonna lay the three and a half in Kansas City.
Take a lot of favorites.
Speaker 3 (38:28):
I don't like that. Yeah, I'm gonna lay the points
on the case.
Speaker 2 (38:33):
And as we always do, we end with Sunday Night football.
Speaker 4 (38:36):
Cowboys and forty nine Ers.
Speaker 2 (38:38):
Niners are three and a half point favorites at home. Cowboys,
baby and a half Cowboys. Yeha, getna giddy up my
way to a five and oh week is what I'm
gonna do. Cowboys are getting that done.
Speaker 3 (38:52):
Yee.
Speaker 2 (38:53):
On the money line too, on the money last win
that outright, and that's your picks against the games. Don't
even need the point, thanks Lee, Yeah you got it, Brady,
I give you that.
Speaker 3 (39:06):
High five, Jonas and Q high five. Yeah yeah.
Speaker 8 (39:12):
