(01:37):
we point this out because we were a little bit
delayed in pointing this out the first time around, that
today is in fact a football Friday. Come on Football Friday,
come to ready, come on your field of house.
Speaker 5 (01:53):
Yeah, come on.
Speaker 6 (01:56):
Friday, Frady, just a mini model udio.
Speaker 4 (02:16):
Sound we got we gotta do it. Friday night, is right?
Speaker 3 (02:27):
Any distripped the shirt off?
Speaker 5 (02:28):
Football Friday?
Speaker 3 (02:32):
Come on chestless damn right, Football Friday here on Fox
Sports Radio. And we are already one game in the
books between the Bears and the Commanders.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
Lebar Arrington's Watching Command.
Speaker 4 (02:46):
And Washington Commanders had a home game. It was amazing
they won on Prime.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
Oh no no, Instead they got their ass whipped a
r f K stadium for everybody to watch.
Speaker 5 (02:56):
What a disaster, so committed to the r f K.
Speaker 3 (02:59):
That's great, And now they find themselves losers, not losers
of three in a row. So that's three straight losses
for Washington. Now the Bears get a little bit of
extra rest. Now, would you say that maybe I'm reading
too much into this, but would you say that this
is proof that the team has not quit on Matt
Eberflues with the fact that with everything going on on
(03:21):
a short week, they came out and looked like that
is that proof that they have not quit on Matt Eberflues.
Speaker 7 (03:27):
It's a great point because there's a lot of people
who follow the league that always say it's interesting when
teams feel like they're in desperation mode how they respond.
And I don't know if reports are true or if
you can read into it, but you did get the
sentence that if something didn't change quick, they were going
to have to make a change. And it looked last
(03:48):
night was a glowing example of a team that is
still fighting, still playing and still winning.
Speaker 5 (03:54):
You know, you got the first win, but still trying
to win some football games.
Speaker 7 (03:57):
So I'm not sure if that change is moving forward,
But man, that was huge, I think obviously for Matt Eberflus.
Speaker 4 (04:05):
I mean, they definitely did not look like a team
that quit on their season. They were excited, you know,
there was a lot of exuberance taking place out there
on the field. They seemed like they were having fun
competing and they beat a team that was like they're
a fringe team, Like are they on the fringe of
(04:28):
being a really competitive team or are they on the
fringe of being kind of what they have been, like
a mid mid tier type of team. So give them credit.
I mean, they went into a hostile environment. The environment
seemed really nice, that the buy in, you know, the
(04:48):
fans seemed to be there, like it looked like a
very nice, well attended event. So for for the Bears
to go on the road and be a to show
what they showed. They looked physical, They looked like they
were calling the right plays, they were dialing up the
(05:09):
right plays, I really would would say that, you know,
the QB really looked I mean he looked like he
was comfortable, you know, justin fields. Looked like he was
comfortable delivering the balls, taking chances, throwing the ball, and
he was confident running the ball and they were able
(05:29):
to run the ball as well as a team collectively.
It was that was a complete win. They played well
on defense, they they had balance on offense. It was
a it was a complete win. They made big plays,
they had explosive plays. They didn't give up too many
at what maybe one or two explosive plays I think
(05:50):
they gave up. They didn't give up too much on defense.
So it was a great It was a great effort.
It was a great outing. It did not have me
feeling as though this was a team that was going
to tank, you know, like that had been discussed, like
is Chicago a team that's going to tank? You know,
it didn't look like they packed in the season in
(06:11):
that game.
Speaker 3 (06:11):
I mean, the best part about this for the Bears
is there's probably some Bears fans out there very negative
who are like, oh, way to go now, you blew
our chance to get Caleb Williams. No, no, no, no no.
You still got the Carolina Panthers draft pick. And they
look like a bag of turds at times, and it
doesn't look like they're going to do anything this season.
So you've still got Carolina's pick that you look at
(06:33):
and go if this continues to go south for them.
At least you know that that's always something you could
fall back on. But I didn't want to say this though, LaVar,
because you brought something up talking about just the energy
and the building. It did look like everybody showed up
to watch their team play. You know, the Bears always
travel well. So it's time for the first ever edition
of was it a sellout at RFK Stadium last night?
(06:59):
All right, so let's go go ahead, let's play the
let's get ready. We've got a bunch of imaging here.
Really put a lot of time and effort into this,
So here we go, the first ever edition of was
it a sellout at RFK Stadium last night? LeVar Arrington?
You played there many a year's So, LeVar Arrington, here
are your options?
Speaker 4 (07:20):
Yes, sounds like a dope film music, LeVar, And I
don't know how you will lose points if you continue
to interrupt before the actual question is asked.
Speaker 5 (07:30):
So, LeVar, good good?
Speaker 3 (07:32):
Was it a sellout at RFK Stadium last night? Your
options are yes, no, or don't care.
Speaker 4 (07:44):
My answer is no. Okay, there was no one at
RFK last night?
Speaker 3 (07:49):
A right, wow, Brady, you were next.
Speaker 7 (07:53):
I thought he was going a different direction. No, No,
it was not a sellout. Is my guest, Johns.
Speaker 3 (07:59):
Let's see who has won the debut edition of Was
it a sellout at RFK Stadium last night? You both
have won the debut edition? And was it a sellout
at RFK Stadium last night? That's right? Just ninety four
percent capacity according to reports, So about four thousand people
(08:24):
no showed the game last night, but nonetheless sixty three
thousand plus for a Thursday night there, and they could
not help themselves but to make and make it apparent
and let everybody know that Dan Snyder is no longer
there and there's a new energy in the building there.
Speaker 4 (08:38):
It looked like a lot of people in FedExField for
certain Yeah. Yeah, it looked like it was we not RFK, right,
not RFK, FedExField, landover Maryland, landover Merlin, Merlin, Merlin landover all.
Speaker 5 (08:55):
Right.
Speaker 3 (08:56):
So, as we venture of the teams that we've talked
about and the issues that they've had as the Pittsburgh Steelers,
and I was not aware that of all the things
and all the criticism of Matt Canada and the Steelers offense,
that it was going to be Sparrowdidas of CBS, who
was going to be the one to light a fire
underneath Matt Canada because apparently during the game, during the broadcast,
(09:20):
Sparrowdidas and Adam Archletta, who were working the game, they
pointed out that Matt Canada told them when they sat
with him on Saturday that the team wasn't quite built
to come back from big leads. Well, Matt Canada heard
about that and called it an unbelievable misinterpretation of a conversation.
(09:41):
He just went on to defend himself and said it
was obviously taken wrong. I certainly, at no point was
this conversation meant in that regard. I certainly believed that
he knew that, But there was some sort of a
misunderstanding there that Matt Canada was not happy with. I
did not have on my list going into we five,
Matt Canada versus Sparrodidas in a war of words over
(10:04):
who said what in a pregame meeting. Why is he
even responding to this? Who cares?
Speaker 5 (10:11):
I feel enough pressure?
Speaker 7 (10:13):
Here's all I'll put this, and you have to kind
of handle it delicately because this has always been the
concern from a broadcast standpoint of production meetings when you
meet with coaches, and I guess as an analyst, it's
been my concern because coaches typically in players will not
tell you what they'll tell you when you're.
Speaker 5 (10:33):
Not in that room.
Speaker 7 (10:34):
And yet TV networks have these production meetings because a
lot of the people behind.
Speaker 5 (10:39):
The scenes want access. They want to hear the coach,
they want.
Speaker 7 (10:41):
To hear the player, and and you know, they don't
realize that like this is not really the stuff that's
that's the truth of what they think or feel.
Speaker 5 (10:49):
It's kind of usually what's put out there now.
Speaker 7 (10:52):
Sometimes coaches get comfortable in that environment. Even players, well,
they'll say some things that they think they're putting their
trust in the broadcast booth to not let that go
on to air. They're just trying to be frank and
honest with maybe how they feel. And sometimes coaches players
get caught in that way, like saying something where they think, like,
(11:14):
these guys got their back, they're gonna be cool, They're
not going to say anything in this case. You know, obviously,
when it gets mentioned like that and it came from
a play by play, not the analyst, usually you know,
there's like a degree of I don't know kind of
trust that's broken, if that makes sense. So I've always
(11:35):
been very, I guess, hesitant to ask like too many
certain questions in fear of a coach a player doing
this to themselves because I your analysis is different than
your play by play. It's different from a lot of
other people who are a part of the actual crew
in most cases, like your play by play doesn't have experience,
(11:57):
you know, on the other side of the table, being
a player, being a coach right and being in that spot.
So it's just it's tough for me because I can
see how this happened, and I can understand his frustration
because he was probably having a candid, like honest moment
with them, thinking that they weren't going to say this
on TV yet it maybe had leaked out. But I mean,
(12:21):
the truth of the matter is I mean, you know,
if you were to say, like, their team, the way
they're playing right now, the way their offense is as
built to come back in games, like, it's probably fair
to say, well, no, it's not a doesn't have anything
to do with their talent or their personnel. I mean,
it probably has more to do with him than anything else.
At least in regards to their play calling.
Speaker 4 (12:41):
If I'm a coach, that especially a coach that's in
the position that Canada is in right now, for one,
I'm going into every meeting understanding where I'm at. Like,
first of all, you got to be realistic with yourself
on where you are currently. And then if if the
people who are interviewing you are looking at it from
(13:04):
a very literal standpoint, like we know that Matt Canada
is being blamed for, you know, the ills of this
team right now. Matt Canada has to be aware of that.
So if he says something along the lines of we're
not built to come back from from what do you say,
(13:24):
large deficits.
Speaker 5 (13:25):
Or whatever, some of those lines, yeah, they're not.
Speaker 4 (13:27):
He basically is saying we don't have an explosive offense
that can score coast to coast from anywhere on the field.
If I'm if I'm a if I'm an analyst on
on that game, I'm looking at that as and I
would probably ask him and follow up with him in
terms of is that like, are you saying, is that
(13:50):
why you're not calling certain plays? Is that why you're
not you know, perceivably opening up your playbook and being
more aggressive, like is that why there's not more explosive plays,
Like are you trying to say it's not on you,
it's on the personnel. And if it's not on you
and it's on the personnel, then that's on the person
that's choosing the personnel.
Speaker 5 (14:12):
Right.
Speaker 4 (14:12):
So it's like you're kind of you're you're taking a
statement and you're opening that up for interpretation, which in
some cases you gotta I agree with you. You don't
want to valolate that that that interview, you know, forum
and the sanctity of it, like the safeness of it.
You don't want to you don't want to violate that
(14:34):
make the coaches feel and the players feel like, oh,
this is the group. You can't talk to them. You
don't want to do that. But at the same time,
it's like, are you asking for help?
Speaker 5 (14:45):
Right?
Speaker 4 (14:45):
Do you want us to come out and say, well,
it's not on Matt Canada, it's on the personnel. This
team isn't built to be able to do this in
the game, you know, and not to me. That's where
it could get a little dicey for me, is like,
be clear on what it is that you mean, then
don't come back after the fact, if it's used during
the course of the game and you're upset about words
(15:08):
that you gave that we're being used and I didn't
hear that. I didn't hear the call, So I don't
know how to put it in context. But I will
say they could have, you know, they could have felt
like they were doing him a favor, you know, by
saying putting it out there, a different narrative other than
get rid of Matt Canada because he doesn't know how
to call an offense that has success.
Speaker 3 (15:30):
The fact that he's responding to this or even discussing
it at all. What was said during a broadcast of
a game that he was calling plays for, Like, doesn't
this just showcase what you said at the top le
of ar He's feeling the heat, you feeling that pressure.
Like the fact that he's even got to talk about this.
It just feels like we're getting to the point to
where the conversation so loud. I mean, something's got to
(15:55):
be done.
Speaker 5 (15:55):
You got to do something at some point down this road.
Speaker 4 (15:58):
The outcry and the like the anger, the disappointment surrounding
the offense, and the city really rallying behind the narrative
of it's our OC. The media, it's the OC. Everyone
is saying it. There's one problem that is not being addressed.
(16:21):
It's the OC. Now is it a pride thing? And
you just continue on because your pride says, this is
our guy, this is who we hired, this is what
we're going to stick with. Maybe that's why they're in
a situation they're in right now, you know, But do
you make a move based off of all that pressure?
It's mounting pressure, and I know Matt Canada is feeling it,
(16:44):
and as cool and as collected as as Mike Tomlin is,
I'm certain he's feeling it as well. So I mean,
do you ignore it? He's certainly in that moment Matt
Canada didn't ignore it and ignore it at all.
Speaker 3 (17:01):
Well, I wouldn't ignore the fact that this is two
pros and a cup of Joe. Here on Sports Radio,
it is LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you.
So coming up next, though, we have got several matchups
in the NFL this weekend, some that are more important,
some that matter more than others, and we'll tell you
why that is. That's coming up next here on FSR.
Speaker 8 (17:21):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 5 (17:39):
How does that song go?
Speaker 3 (17:41):
Come on? Sam singing just.
Speaker 2 (17:43):
A little bit of my heart?
Speaker 5 (17:46):
I believe there you go.
Speaker 3 (17:52):
I did enough false settle there. Oh my god, Sam,
really this is I told them if the darkness opens
up with this song, every everybody.
Speaker 5 (18:16):
Let it go, Let it go, Jonas turn it out?
Speaker 4 (18:21):
Yeah, yeah, all right, you got it, you got it,
got it got Okay.
Speaker 5 (18:31):
We had to let that one breathe right there.
Speaker 3 (18:33):
No, we didn't.
Speaker 7 (18:34):
This song, it's an interesting song. Gee, I feel like
there's a lot of people make it out, you know
to this stuff.
Speaker 3 (18:43):
Yeah, it does seem like one of those songs.
Speaker 2 (18:46):
Yeah, Leo rock out, let's go.
Speaker 3 (18:52):
Leo will be making out with a bottle of Jim
Beam on this song.
Speaker 5 (18:56):
Sam, are you gonna be wearing eyelighter two while you're there?
It's not how this work?
Speaker 3 (19:00):
No Guyler? Yeah did that guy wear guyliner?
Speaker 9 (19:05):
No?
Speaker 10 (19:05):
He just wore like a leotard kind of thing. Oh yeah,
that's the British.
Speaker 5 (19:10):
Yeah, come on, yeah, so he's for sure gonna have eyeliner.
Speaker 3 (19:12):
Of possibly, they're British, they get away with it.
Speaker 7 (19:16):
That's why I remember we went to a concert uh
in Columbus, ironically enough, because I'm hearing in Columbus right
now that uh there was an opening act for Teddy Swims,
which is one of my wife's favorite artists, and I
could like we had we had really good seats for it,
and I was like, man, is that dude, we're an
eyeliner And we weren't really sure, and we ended up
(19:39):
leaving the concerts like a bitterly because we want to
get back obviously, you know, it's a burden to watch
four kids. And we we happen to see the two
guys who opened for him walking out still had the
eyeliner on, like still had the whole get up everything else.
I was like, oh okay. Like I was like, all right,
is that like something you do for the stage and
you like like wipe it all off and you like
go out and like you know, be yourself, be normal.
Speaker 5 (20:01):
I was like, or like do you just keep wearing that?
Like is that?
Speaker 7 (20:03):
Like is it part of is that who you are
or is like part of the stage presence.
Speaker 5 (20:07):
I wasn't really sure, but yeah, they still they're still
were wearing it.
Speaker 3 (20:10):
It is weird, uh what when people will pick certain
outfits to bring out on stage, Like why can't you
just like why does everything have to be the big preason?
Speaker 5 (20:19):
Dam Well?
Speaker 7 (20:20):
I just I mean, look, you you performed in a band,
and my question is always like is that like a
different alter ego or is that just who you are?
Speaker 5 (20:28):
And then that just exists off stage as well.
Speaker 3 (20:32):
I don't know. It just it's like the radio show,
like you just turn it on when the light goes on,
and then afterwards you just kind of you know me,
I just like to relax, just chill, you know, very
very uh just quiet. But there's some people who are
method actors and they're the same character on stage off stage.
It's like Ozzy Osbourne. Ozzy Osbourne snorted a row of
(20:52):
fire ants. Okay, like that is a true story story.
He's partying with Motley Crue and they were all trying
out do each other and he got down on a
knee and snorted up a row of fire ants while
they were on tour.
Speaker 5 (21:05):
Beast that is a he's a beast.
Speaker 10 (21:08):
You think the guys and kiss are the They're not
in makeup, they're they're just normal guys that they're just persona.
Speaker 5 (21:14):
Yeah, yeah, that's that's what I'm pointing out.
Speaker 7 (21:17):
But like it always like strikes me as like, oh no,
like these this is who they are, Like they're not
changing once to get off stage.
Speaker 5 (21:22):
Like I was like, is the band you're going to
see tonight?
Speaker 7 (21:25):
Like is that how they operate outside of when they're
on stage.
Speaker 10 (21:28):
They're not wearing their get ups on stage off you know,
in their normal time. You don't know because I follow
them on social media, they're they're they just dressed sort
of like, uh, I don't know, vintage seventies.
Speaker 3 (21:38):
I'd say that's their sound. I don't know.
Speaker 5 (21:41):
Yeah, what's their sound? Again?
Speaker 3 (21:45):
That ship has sailed? You didn't have another one? I
played it back for you guys, Like.
Speaker 5 (21:51):
Why can't I see Lee's face?
Speaker 4 (21:53):
Like Lee has one arm on the bar while he's
got his drink in the other hand, like you, he
look on his face, but his back to the bar,
Like he's not facing the bar. He's got his back
to the bar and he's looking down the bar like
where the patrons are like, why can I see a
(22:13):
vivid picture of Lee being at the.
Speaker 3 (22:15):
Bar that way up when we were in Ireland. He
walks up to the bartender who just is like some
like a paid helper, probably never bartender before. And Lee
just walks up to the guy at that event that
we were at and he just goes, uh, a G
and T. It's like hy and T goes oh, gin
(22:39):
and Tonic. The guy has no idea what a G
and T is. Lee.
Speaker 7 (22:45):
The guy called him a ce you next Tuesday, which
is pretty common over there.
Speaker 3 (22:51):
Yeah, it is. It definitely is. All right, So it
is two pros and a cup of Joe here on
Fox Sports Radio. So it's a big week in the NFL,
obviously week five coming up, and we decided, all right,
which game and LaVar threw this out, which game of
you guys looking forward to the most? All right, we
can't pick the same one. We've got to pick different games.
So let's go ahead and let's fire it off. Lead
(23:14):
to labby. You pick who goes first here, and we'll
start previewing some phenomenal action in the NFL this weekend. Jonas,
let's go with you on this.
Speaker 2 (23:25):
One, Bengals at Cardinals.
Speaker 3 (23:28):
Oh yeah, baby. When your quarterback for Cincinnati is already
saying it's a must win game against a one win
team on the road and we're at week five of
the season, it feels like they are panicking big time
in Cincinnati. I think it's already a wrap. I think
they're done. But I am fascinated to see how Cincinnati
(23:48):
comes out in this game against an Arizona team, as
we've documented here on this show, is much better than
anybody thought they were going to be at this point
in the season. Bengals Cardinal, I am fascinated to see
how that plays out this weekend.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
Next one up, let's go with Cowboys and forty nine Ers.
Speaker 11 (24:07):
I believe this is Brady, Yes it is.
Speaker 5 (24:10):
Yes it is. This is a big one.
Speaker 7 (24:12):
I think in regards to one Dallas proving LeVar wrong
that the other team he thinks they're going to be
or doesn't think they're going to be. But this goes
back to the last year the forty nine Ers knocked
out the Dallas Cowboys in the playoffs. I think for
Dak for Mike McCarthy, for all involved, if they want
(24:33):
to be considered one of the best. They've got to
beat one of the best, and it's San fran It's Philly.
That's those the top two in the NFC. This is
a huge one. They got to do it on the
road in Santa Clara. Brock Perty's been outstanding. I mean,
you really can't say enough about how he's been able
to play. He's undefeated when he's at least healthy, he
at least put it that way in a game. And
(24:55):
the way he's played within the offense of the system
this year has been phenomenal.
Speaker 5 (25:00):
Continue to grow and progress from where it was.
Speaker 7 (25:01):
Christian McCaffrey has been playing like an MVP candidate. Micah
Parsons on the other side, has been playing like the
defensive player of the year.
Speaker 5 (25:09):
I can't wait for this matchup.
Speaker 7 (25:11):
This is like an old school rivalry too that I
used to grow up in that I'm glad to see
this game highlighted on Sunday night in Santa Clara.
Speaker 5 (25:21):
Should be a fun run.
Speaker 2 (25:22):
And for LaVar's pick, we've got Ravens at Steelers.
Speaker 4 (25:26):
Yeah, Steelers, I mean, come on, They're going into Pittsburgh.
This is one of those games where you throw out records.
Speaker 5 (25:34):
Baltimore three and one.
Speaker 4 (25:35):
Pittsburgh got five hundred at two and two records out
the door, rankings out the door. This is one of
those games where you know that there's bad blood. They
they desperately want to be able to be.
Speaker 5 (25:54):
Able to say they beat one another. That's this game.
Speaker 4 (25:57):
That's Baltimore the Ravens, and it's the Steelers. It has
so much historical value to it in terms of just
the types of players who have played in these matchups.
It's it's going to be a great game to watch,
more entertaining, and obviously I'm a lifelong Steelers fan, so
I'm excited to see this one see how it plays out.
Speaker 3 (26:19):
Now, does TJ Houshmanzada, who you do up on game with,
does he feel a certain way about Baltimore? He did
spend what he spend one season.
Speaker 5 (26:26):
There's say he did play there.
Speaker 3 (26:28):
Yeah, so does he Does he consider himself a raven
a bangle or is it just we hate Pittsburgh.
Speaker 5 (26:34):
No matter what?
Speaker 3 (26:35):
Yeah, yeah he can't.
Speaker 4 (26:38):
You know, he's the one who started the whole Terrible
towt like, like the whole rivalry based off of like
disrespecting the terrible towel. You remember he polished his shoes
off with the terrible towel after you beat after they
won the game.
Speaker 3 (26:51):
But Eddie Garcia just went double bird over that. Come on,
it's just a towel. He's trying to have some fun,
trying to get the fans pissed off, Eddie, that piss
you off when t J houshim, Zada did that very much.
Speaker 4 (27:03):
So he sat down too, like he got comfortable and
dusted them.
Speaker 5 (27:09):
But you know, just just run.
Speaker 12 (27:11):
I have thrown something at him.
Speaker 5 (27:14):
I'm sure people did.
Speaker 3 (27:15):
And mister shampoo man that's what we call him on
up on Team Man. Yeah, pantea him too.
Speaker 5 (27:21):
Yeah, I'm excited. That's that's gonna be it.
Speaker 4 (27:24):
That's gonna be a thumb, you know, like there's a
lot of Pittsburgh a thou Yeah.
Speaker 3 (27:30):
Full participant now all of a sudden impressed that.
Speaker 7 (27:33):
Well, it's it's a bow and Bruce though, it's gonna
be dealing with some pain and you know, that's I'd
be curious to see how mobile he is, like that's
that's one of the best parts of his game.
Speaker 3 (27:43):
Yeah, So it's a lot to look forward to in
the NFL this weekend. So there are just a handful
of the games we're looking forward to coming up in
a big weekend in the NFL Week five already here
coming up on Sunday. It is flying, man, I know
it's crazy. Two pros and a cup of Joe Here

edition of UNI you out to close up shop here
on a football Friday. But for all the latest from
around the world of sports, we turn it back over
to the man himself, Eddie Garcia.
Speaker 12 (28:12):
And I told LeVar I was upset because I heard
TJ on up on game and I'm like, God, that
guy does a good job, and he actually sounds like
a nice guy. I didn't really want to hate him,
but still kind of pissed me off when I think
about it.
Speaker 3 (28:28):
Anyway, he is a nice guy. HEJ is a really
nice guy. He's a Is he a picky eater? Is
that what I've heard, LeVar?
Speaker 4 (28:36):
It's worse than pickie. He just he's never tried if
it's not like basic, he's never tried it, never tried coffee,
never tried guacamole, avocado.
Speaker 3 (28:48):
He's never had an avocado.
Speaker 4 (28:50):
No, really, he's got a long list of nevers.
Speaker 3 (28:54):
What was he Jehovah's witness like that?
Speaker 5 (28:58):
No, he's not.
Speaker 10 (29:00):
He's never had coffee, Eddie. Isn't there something you've like,
You've never had something that was just pretty out there?
Speaker 5 (29:05):
Tommy?
Speaker 12 (29:06):
Right, I have had one cup of coffee in my life.
Speaker 10 (29:09):
Something else you mentioned on a show recently. You're like,
I've never had this when I was blown way.
Speaker 3 (29:13):
I don't think you didn't get your first cavity, Eddie
until like a week ago or something like that.
Speaker 12 (29:17):
Right, No, in my forties, I think when I finally got.
Speaker 3 (29:22):
My tough this gravity something like that.
Speaker 5 (29:23):
What about broken toes?
Speaker 3 (29:26):
That's one.
Speaker 12 (29:27):
Yeah, my first ever broken bone was a couple a
couple of years ago.
Speaker 5 (29:31):
How about that big toe?
Speaker 12 (29:33):
Week five in the NFL got underway Thursday Night Football,
the Bear snapping a franchise record fourteen game losing skid
when a forty to twenty win on the road against
the Commanders justin fields two hundred and eighty two yards
passing two hundred and thirty of those yards went to
wide receiver Dj Moore. Four touchdown pass for fields no interceptions,
Three of those TV passes went to more as well. Chicago,
(29:54):
jumping out to a seventeen nothing lead, led twenty seven
three at the half and went on to get their
first win of the year. Now one and four Commander's
fall to two and three. More news involving the Bears,
and unfortunately it involves their legendary linebacker Dick buck Is
passing away at the age of eighty, perhaps the greatest
middle linebacker in NFL history. Two time Defensive Player of
(30:14):
the Year, five time All Pro, member of the NFL's
one hundred Anniversary team, and was also a member of
the Pro and College Football Halls of Fame. Born in Chicago,
went to the University of Illinois and played his entire
career as a Bear. Bill's linebacker Von Miller making the
trip to London with Buffalo, could make the debut and
play his first game since last year after suffering a
(30:35):
knee injury as the All take on the Jaguars in London.
Steelers quarterback Kenn Pickett, you were talking about full participant
in practice with that bone bruise and his knee on
track to play against the Ravens. Sunday Raiders quarterback Jimmy
Garoppolo remains in the concussion protocol, but he did practice
Thursday and could play Monday against the Packers. And in baseball,
New York Mets GM Billy Epper resigned as Major League
Baseball is investigating him apparently placing players on the injured
(30:58):
list with fake injuries. It's something that is done in baseball,
but maybe he took it to the extreme. He was
hired in twenty twenty one by the New York Mets.
Now back to Brady Quinn, the bar Arytona, Jonas Knocks
and Syrack dot Com, Fox Sports Radio Studios.

Speaker 5 (34:02):
What happened?
Speaker 3 (34:04):
Just I don't know.
Speaker 15 (34:05):
He's making me save everything, save everything three times over
and now the computer's frozen.
Speaker 14 (34:10):
And present my fault or is it bad equipment? It's
kind of your fault now, it's kind of the other things,
the state of the art.
Speaker 3 (34:16):
What are you talking about?
Speaker 5 (34:18):
Isn't necessary to save it three times?
Speaker 2 (34:20):
Well?
Speaker 11 (34:20):
I had saved it and then Sam song story cutting
it in or out?
Speaker 3 (34:24):
I mean, listen, let's talk about it.
Speaker 5 (34:26):
We're already here.
Speaker 15 (34:28):
Sam thought I was Sam thought I was doing a
bad job, so he said he would do a better job.
Turns out he was doing the worst job. It made
me redo the job that I had already done.
Speaker 5 (34:39):
Classic Sam, classic Sam move.
Speaker 3 (34:41):
Oh wow, that's a classic Sam bang bang?
Speaker 5 (34:45):
Right Sam? Why they paling on you like this?
Speaker 3 (34:49):
It's convoluted back here at least just far.
Speaker 15 (34:53):
I have my system and Sam ruined it, and I'm
upset about it. The computer we uses is always overwhelmed.
It's just it'll just poop out.
Speaker 4 (35:01):
On you, Sam, I'm out. That's first, I'm out.
Speaker 10 (35:07):
He's out on that high. A good way to say. Great,
great segment.
Speaker 11 (35:10):
There, guys. We have three college football games today.
Speaker 15 (35:15):
We got Ivy League, we got Big twelve, we got
Big ten, we got Cornell at Harvard, Kansas State and
Oklahoma State, Nebraska, Illinois.
Speaker 2 (35:22):
What do you guys in all of them?
Speaker 8 (35:25):
In?
Speaker 5 (35:25):
It's football. It's a football Friday, pretty thickly damn right.
Speaker 11 (35:29):
In fact, yeah, there's even more football. There's Canadian Football
Week eighteen.
Speaker 15 (35:34):
Edmonton Elks versus the Toronto Argonauts, Winnipeg Blue Blombers, the
BC Lions.
Speaker 5 (35:40):
What you say it again? Can we can we talk
about a rule that I didn't know existed.
Speaker 3 (35:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (35:48):
I saw a clip where they threw a swing pass
out to the running back in space and he then
caught it, ran a couple of steps, dropped.
Speaker 5 (35:57):
The ball to kick it.
Speaker 7 (35:59):
Basically it gently over the I don't I think it
was the actual yard markers like the line of scrimmage,
and then he recovered it himself, which gives them another
set of downs.
Speaker 5 (36:10):
What there was some crazy rule I saw on social media.
Speaker 7 (36:14):
I don't know if this is legit or not sounds like,
but I need to debunk this or prove this to
be right. But there's some unique rule where like if
they catch the ball, punt the ball in space, I
don't know if it's over the line to gain for
a first down, which would make sense because you automatically
would I mean, I think it's over the line of scrimmage.
Speaker 3 (36:34):
Jeez, if you punt it.
Speaker 7 (36:35):
Over, then like recover yourself, you get a new set
of downs.
Speaker 5 (36:39):
Whoever thought that rule should be put in jail?
Speaker 3 (36:43):
Yeah, I would agree, Well.
Speaker 4 (36:45):
Like what are you sitting like? You sat around to
think about that? You got to throw the ball if
he takes a step and punch the ball and it
lands beyond the line of whatever.
Speaker 7 (36:57):
No, you no, it's it's not that complicated. Imagine you're
playing linebacker. They used to throw out a swing pass.
When he catches it, instead of him looking to make
a move and make you miss, he literally, because he's
likes the ball, maybe two three yards of the line
of scrimmage, gently taps the ball his foot over the
line of scrimmage.
Speaker 5 (37:13):
Then it goes and recovers it.
Speaker 3 (37:15):
I don't get it. It's very weird, that's very it's
almost like they were trying too.
Speaker 4 (37:20):
Hard to be different to agree on this one.
Speaker 3 (37:23):
Also, I'm out, what's the name of that team? The
Edmonton Elks they were called something else previous, right, and
that they maybe got in trouble.
Speaker 5 (37:32):
And Ontario Elks.
Speaker 3 (37:33):
The Edmonton Elks they used to be called the I
don't even know if you can say it, but anyways,
look that up.
Speaker 5 (37:41):
Okay.
Speaker 7 (37:42):
Apparently, by the way, the game you should be on
is the Big Ten Game, which is I believe on
f S one tonight.
Speaker 5 (37:48):
Right yeah? Wait, wait up?
Speaker 11 (37:49):
Nebraska at Illinois on one.
Speaker 5 (37:52):
Man Big ten, baby, Yeah, they both stank.
Speaker 15 (37:55):
But we have the Pphchampionship in Vegas.
Speaker 11 (38:01):
You guys down for the EPA Championship.
Speaker 3 (38:03):
You know what that is?
Speaker 5 (38:03):
You're down with what what? Pickleball?
Speaker 15 (38:06):
That's right, baby, professional pickleball is the professional pickleball.
Speaker 5 (38:11):
It's so ridiculous.
Speaker 3 (38:12):
And that's in Vegas. It's in Vegas. Yeah, where is
it at the Orleans.
Speaker 11 (38:16):
It is at the Darling Darling Tennis Center.
Speaker 2 (38:19):
Oh boy, there there's a camp.
Speaker 3 (38:21):
Miss what's that next to a truck stop somewhere?
Speaker 5 (38:25):
I'm out, I got football to watch the day.
Speaker 4 (38:26):
Yeah, Washington Bullyvard totally. I'm out every day on pickleball.
Speaker 15 (38:31):

Speaker 14 (38:45):

Speaker 11 (38:48):
I'm one of those guys a lot to have mine
zeroed out.
Speaker 5 (38:50):
Yeah, that's not going to happen.
Speaker 3 (38:53):
Like, why is that a day? Who makes those rules?
Speaker 11 (38:55):
Well, you know you've got to have a data consolidate.
Speaker 4 (38:58):
Well, I consolidate, you gotta search, you gotta search box,
just search what you need. Yeah, I'm hyping the email
address they come up whatever, talk about.
Speaker 5 (39:11):
Purely for the fact of like, I don't know who
makes these rules, but I'm not following them.
Speaker 3 (39:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (39:15):
Yeah, we're not following those rules. We're not zeroing out
to zero in our mail. Yeah, got to keep our mail.
Speaker 11 (39:25):
You guys ent are out on this Golden Bachelor.
Speaker 5 (39:27):
Stuff out kind of creepy.
Speaker 3 (39:30):
I'm out out, what is it? I don't want to
I don't.
Speaker 4 (39:33):
Want to know that that my nana or anybody was
in on that life. Yeah, Like I believe in old love,
but y'all just y'all do that somewhere else.
Speaker 3 (39:43):
Like cocoon, basically like the old older people get that
old people, don't you in it?
Speaker 5 (39:49):
There we go, Yeah, you're gonna watch.
Speaker 2 (39:51):
Damn
