Already here all right, flying by?

Speaker 2 (01:39):
So exciting? Yeah it is.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Yeah, listen, this is the good stuff. This is what
we're all excited?

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Is this the good stuff?

Speaker 4 (01:47):
Well?

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Yeah, listen, we're going to get the defending Super Bowl
champions on national TV they or excuse me, on Prime
video to national chaps, the defending super Bowl champions, super
Bowl chaps. Yeah, Kansas City Chiefs, they're going to be
hosting the Denver bronc they are.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
And what's funny though our rundown doesn't have that matchup,
we have a different matchup on the rundown.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Yeah, I just I.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
Mean it's funny, but yeah, that's pretty cool. Well, I'm
not mad at it.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
The Kansas City Chiefs are an eleven point favorite as
it stands right now, hosting those Denver Broncos, which I
don't know if anybody had that in the cards when
it came to what Denver could look like this year
with Sean Payton. But this is an eleven point favorite
in terms of Kansas City and it, at least on paper,
appears to be potentially another wipeout in front of a

(02:46):
huge audience.

Speaker 5 (02:48):
So do you guys know the last team that had
this sort of winning streak versus divisional opponent?

Speaker 4 (02:56):
I'm asking, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
The Niners in the Rams. They they've beaten the god who?
And then who is the other team? We just talked
about him earlier this year the Patriots Niners had beaten
the Rams like ten straight times.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
Patriots about saying what had surpassed this one?

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Uh? Patriots and Jets is the closest I think they
just got to fifteen and Kansas City's beaten Denver fifteen straight.

Speaker 4 (03:22):
Tok So that's not really answering the question.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
Yeah, well, I mean I didn't have it off the
top of my head. I was trying to check on
the right down.

Speaker 4 (03:28):
I don't either.

Speaker 5 (03:29):
I just I figured maybe we'd have some stat or
with Lee would know, or someone would know.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Yeah, Sam knows. Yeah, I mean who cares? Oh, oh,
Coop knows.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
Coop knows?

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Go ahead tell them Coop.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
Miami Dolphins over the Buffalo Bills twenty game win streak
from nineteen seventy to nineteen eighty.

Speaker 6 (03:44):
Oh wow, well done, Cup, and Cooper.

Speaker 4 (03:49):
Would know that unless you just saw it somewhere.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Was that I didn't have my head? Why would you
know that? Coop? How would you know?

Speaker 7 (03:56):
That?

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Was that part of a stat? On Ben Show? I
googled it? Were quick?

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Okay, Well listen, now that's quick, google it too, because
you can't.

Speaker 4 (04:03):
So quick, Coop? Could you teach Lee to google that fast?

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Oh wow? Well I'm sitting in Lee's seat right now.
Lee was helping me.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
Okay, so you're basically saying type as fast as you.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
Or what you had to go get some paper towels.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
I'm just saying, I'm I'm finishing up some post production, so.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
It's just, you know, thanksfully.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
It could be that Lee's searches other things pop up
as he goes to type a.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
Letter, like it just Coop so much faster. I don't
get it. Coop was quick.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
Well, I could have jumped in and acted like I
was like this all knowing dude. You know he came
in quick. I'll tell you that. I could have threw
it out there, but I don't want to take that.
You got it, Coop, you got it. It was really good.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
Yelled it from the kitchen. Oh okay, yeah, yelled.

Speaker 6 (04:50):
From I got he was helping me, which is a possibility.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
There could be a uh what do they call it?
A vagrant uh walk in the uh walk in the area.
At this time of night, it is potential out here.
How do you lose to a team in the division
fifteen straight times?

Speaker 2 (05:09):
How's that happen?

Speaker 1 (05:11):
It feels like, well, divisional game, you're familiar? Fifteen straight times?
The Denver broncos Of loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
The last time they beat him was twenty fifteen and
week two when Peyton Manning was there.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
That was their Super Bowl year.

Speaker 5 (05:26):
If I had to bet, how many head coaches have
the Broncos had between now and then.

Speaker 4 (05:33):
See that was how many?

Speaker 2 (05:35):
You know?

Speaker 5 (05:35):
Yeah, well Kubiak then obviously he stepped down retired. Maybe
he saw the running was on the wall, didn't want
to deal with whatever was coming next. But think about
how many head coaches they've had, changes their general manager,
and like, that's going to start to give you the.

Speaker 4 (05:52):
Tea leaves as to how this happens.

Speaker 5 (05:54):
Because divisional opponents, for the most part, they're built to
kind of beat each other, built your roster to beat
to win your division. If you can win your division,
you get a home playoff game. If you win the conference,
you get home playoff you know, road the entire way.
But that's how it has to start, is you have
to win your division first. And usually when you've got

(06:15):
a roster that has different coaches coaching it, different general
managers selecting players to fit different schemes and what they
think is good or you know whatever, that usually impacts
their ability to consistently compete within a vision. So I
would I would look at it and say, okay, you know,
Sean Payton this year. Hack it before that, Fangio before

(06:36):
that was Fangio after Kobiak Advance, Joseph Vance, Joseph was there,
who's now by the way back as their defensive coordinator.

Speaker 4 (06:45):
Ye, that's not going well.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
A little uncomfortable.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
Yeah, he's trying to sabotage his second time around the
first time around?

Speaker 4 (06:58):
Is that your conspiracy?

Speaker 1 (06:59):
I'm not ready to.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
I got to work on that a little bit.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
I need to add a little bit more depth to
that conspiracy theory. But that could be a possibility. So yeah,
the world famous porn star Johnny Depth. But I just
fifteen Johnny d for sure, like fifteen straight times at
some at some point, you think you'd get one during
that course of time. There's there's a lot going on there.

(07:25):
And this wasn't always just the Patrick Mahomes era. Alex
Smith was there, Like, this wasn't just because well they've
got Mahomes that got an all time great. It just
I feel like at some point you would get them
once and these.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
Guys do realize though it does set the stage for
a massive victory like Kansas City wins, nobody cares, doesn't matter,
like you expected them to win eleven point point spread,
like nobody cares. But if the Broncos win, then the
Broncos have a feel good story, they break the stream.

(08:01):
Maybe they're getting things back together. I mean, can you
accidentally I know you can lose games in the league.
I know you can have like kind of like. I
don't I would not even call this a trap game
for Kansas City. I don't know what I would label
it as if they were to lose to Denver tonight.

(08:21):
But if they were to lose to Denver, how do
we categorize this win for Denver? That's the question I
was like, because they have nothing to lose, everybody expects
them to lose and big yeah right, So okay, so
if they win, how do we talk Is there any
way that they can win where we come out of

(08:42):
the game talking about them as okay, they're back on track,
or there's the Sean Payton and the you know, the
Denver Broncos we've been looking for, like, what what is
the narrative coming out of this game?

Speaker 4 (08:56):
Well?

Speaker 5 (08:57):
I think if their defense was good that would be helpful,
Like seeing their defense shut down Kansas City and Patrick Mahomes,
that'd be a step in the right direction. I mean,
I don't care what they do this week, right, if
they win, great, If they don't the following it's a fluke,
or you just say, ah, it's a short week. You know,
anything can happen, Like that's what you chock it up to,

(09:19):
Like it's not gonna take one win for them to
convince people.

Speaker 4 (09:22):
It's gonna take multiple.

Speaker 5 (09:23):
Or even the fact that, look, they play each other
two out of the next three weeks, So if somehow
Denver swept Kansas City, then I think it would change
the narrative. Then I think you get people who go,
maybe this thing in Denver is starting to turn around,
you know, maybe they're starting to figure this thing out.

Speaker 4 (09:40):
They're able to beat the Chiefs twice in two of
three weeks.

Speaker 1 (09:42):
Well, I mean, Patrick Mahomes is, you know, being very kind.
He spoke about the matchup against the Denver Broncos in
preparation for Thursday's game, which, by the way, Travis Kelsey
is listed as questionable with that ankle injury. But Patrick
Mahomes did give a little bit of love and respect
back to a divisional opponent as they get ready for
this game later on tonight.

Speaker 8 (10:04):
When you play a team like the Broncos. Same with
any division opponent. There's just another level of intensity. So
I'm not worried about necessarily a streak or anything like that.
I'm worried about winning against a division opponent. And I
know just as much as I think everyone this locker
room knows that. It's kind of it doesn't matter what
the records are. It's gonna be a close game. It's
gonna be a hard fought battle. Both teams don't give
everything they have, and so that's just the history of

(10:25):
the matchup. And so that's that's the thing with me.
It's not about the street. It's about going out there
to find a way to win against a division opponent,
a tough battle.

Speaker 1 (10:33):
Now do you think he also knows that the Miami
Dolphins put up seventy against this defense a couple of
weeks ago. You think that also came up in conversations,
because I would imagine there's probably you know, a.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
Little anything you can do, I could do better.

Speaker 1 (10:46):
I'm saying Tyreek Hill lit him up, and maybe he's
looking like, Okay, well, if he can, if he can.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
Pull no cats, let's let me see if we can
we can make this happen.

Speaker 3 (10:56):
I mean, do you really think they going to try
to put seventy five up on them seventy two break? No,
they'll be respectful, they'll shut it down. Yeah, they'll shut
it down. They got bigger goals.

Speaker 1 (11:05):
They're not trying to put up seventy against the Denver Broncos.
But and and it would be hard to do again.
I just can't imagine in.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
Disrespect that that there will be when you see that
Chelsea's not going to play. Maybe he plays, but what
if they don't play? Would you be surprised or shocked
if they if they're like, you know what, Travis, take
this game off like we don't we don't need Yeah,
we don't need to week.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
I mean, take the rest. He's gonna have a friend.

Speaker 3 (11:34):
I mean I might, I might treat this like a
preseason game if I'm I might try to use this
as an extra bye week if I'm the Chiefs.

Speaker 4 (11:43):
Wow, that's just straight disrespect.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
Yeah it is.

Speaker 1 (11:46):
Now he is gonna Travis Kelsey is going to have
a friend. Uh hey, you get a rest this week.
You get the rest this week. You everyone gets the
rest this week?

Speaker 2 (11:57):
Why not your your girl? Uh? T Swift is going
to be in attendance for this there.

Speaker 5 (12:03):
Yeah, my theory is coming true. Hey, everyone gets a
bite at the Apple.

Speaker 2 (12:09):
Yeah, Amazon primes, Amazon gets it.

Speaker 4 (12:12):
Yeah, and then we'll eventually get it to who's left out? CBS?

Speaker 2 (12:16):
Yeah, CBS hasn't gotten it yet.

Speaker 5 (12:19):
But CBS. I think that next week's game. Is that
a CBS game versus Chargers?

Speaker 2 (12:23):
Probably? I think so.

Speaker 5 (12:24):
Yeah, I'm telling you there, everyone gets a bite at
the Apple.

Speaker 2 (12:29):
Let me where's the game at? Is it in Denver,
Kansas City? All right?

Speaker 5 (12:36):
By the way, supposed to be windy and maybe potentially rainy.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
Do you guys think Sierra will be there?

Speaker 3 (12:42):
And if for some strange reason they happen to show Sierra,
do you think that Sierra.

Speaker 4 (12:48):
Or ciarrap this Sierra? Kind of? It was like Sierra's.

Speaker 3 (12:53):
Spelled Ciara, you could you could, you could say it,
it's spelled that way, but it's Sierra. So if they
showed her like a dance off heavy sing off, dance off,
wave off, fan off, like popularity off, something off.

Speaker 4 (13:16):
A competition, didn't like bring it on and all that, right?
Who am I thinking that?

Speaker 3 (13:20):
That was a Wade's wife? Who's Wade's wife? Dwayne? She
was bring it on.

Speaker 4 (13:28):
I'm just trying to say, can you kind of see it?

Speaker 3 (13:30):
I mean, but Sierra can flipp and dance, she can dance,
and she knows how to get in and out of
bags at the White House yard, you know what I mean,
She'll kick her heels off. She' want shed afraid to
kick her heels off to catch the pass from her
man and getting them drills real real good. Yeah, maybe
maybe there's a skills challenge on the field between Sierra

(13:53):
and Taylor Swift at one of the breaks. I mean,
that would be more interesting to me than the game.
I actually, I actually would be more interested in that
than the game. Like let's see who's faster, or let's
see who could get through these these bags, you know,
let's see who could catch the ball.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
Yeah, but I feel like in a dance of Taylor Swift,
doesn't you know that's a lot of.

Speaker 3 (14:15):
Her weight class. I mean, let's figure out how to
make it fair. They would need to make it fair.
I mean, come on, like, spin on the bat, go
around the bat like ten times before you go do it,
you know what I mean? Yeah, come on, yeah, right, yeah, yeah,
that could do it, right. I mean yeah, I would
be all in on that. I'm just telling y'all, I'm

(14:36):
more of a.

Speaker 2 (14:36):
Football guy and not my thing. I'm a football guy too,
but if they going.

Speaker 3 (14:41):
That would have been the wrong choice of words at
that point. If they're going to force, if they're going
to force this upon us, I just want to if
that happens, I just want to see. I want a
still shot of al Michaels and the look on his
face that jump would be.

Speaker 2 (14:56):
Just just good thinking to him. He might be enjoying it, though.

Speaker 1 (14:59):
I went from I went from Sunday Night Football to
the this, and and just the fact that he could
not contain himself from making a comment about it. Some
disparaging remark about either her or Taylor Swift would be fantastic.
But nonetheless, the fact that that's even a storyline going
into this game means that Denver's probably gonna get their
ass whoops later on tonight, and then everybody's going to

(15:22):
get to see, well, you know, the awful Broncos on
a standalone stage.

Speaker 5 (15:27):
Can I give you my assessment of this betting line?
Like this is how I actually look at bets like
this when there's huge lines and divisional matchups, which I
just the game's gonna be close, and you think that
both they both were last year, so we thought they
were disaster last year. Like their defense is bad this year,
We're not calling this team a disaster because their offense

(15:48):
isn't that bad.

Speaker 4 (15:49):
So when you have a big line like this, I
look at it and.

Speaker 5 (15:52):
I just say, all right, I'm going to lay the
eleven points because if I took the eleven points and
Denver end up getting blown out, I would feel like
a worse idiot than if I lay the eleven points
and then Denver keeps it close. So I'm literally already
planning on how I'm gonna feel after I lose this

(16:13):
bet and which way I'm gonna feel worse.

Speaker 4 (16:16):
So that's all I'm playing it.

Speaker 5 (16:17):
I'm gonna lay the eleven points because I won't feel
quite as dumb when the Denver Broncos.

Speaker 4 (16:22):
Keep this close.

Speaker 1 (16:22):
That's a really negative handicap, I'll be honest with you,
isn't it.

Speaker 5 (16:26):
But like that's like, that's how I look at betting,
Like I'm one of those people who if you're gonna bet,
I get more.

Speaker 4 (16:32):
I feel worse from losing than I do from the
high of winning.

Speaker 1 (16:37):
I'm so used to it that I just it just
kind of rolls off my back at this point, Oh
I lost again.

Speaker 3 (16:42):
Or that it's sure you lose a lot, and plus
it losing does hurt more than winning, and the fact
more times, and the fact.

Speaker 4 (16:49):
That the Broncos notice loses a lot, the fact that.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
The fact the Broncos are getting eleven points, like if
they go up, say fourteen to three, now they're up
twenty two, and at that point, then I start going
to the well and I start in game betting.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
Live betting, if you will, because I got to make
that money. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (17:08):
So that's why I don't even I just consider, Okay,
it's a loss. They're already down twenty plus points. Let
me go in here and see what I can do. Oh,
look at this, six minutes left in the second quarter.
There's a point total on the Chiefs. Will they score
over twelve and a half points this half? There's things
like that. You can get in there on get craft
challenge yourself. Yeah, because when you lose a lot, you

(17:28):
have to look for options to try and figure it out.

Speaker 2 (17:30):
Solution, how to figure out how to be a winner? Yep, Okay,
that's how it is.

Speaker 3 (17:34):
So are you a winner if you get one bet
to hit even if you've lost like ten before. Yeah,
you're still a winner. Yeah, because you're judged off of
your last win for your last last result.

Speaker 4 (17:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (17:45):
See bang which look a look at Kurt Warner.

Speaker 1 (17:47):
He went to three Super Bowls only one one though,
really yeah, well only one, but you know what, Hall
of Famer and a great movie that Bradley three, that
Brady highly recommends.

Speaker 3 (18:00):
Kind of watched it, Yeah, I kind of watched it. Yeah,
I didn't finish it, but I did kind of. I
kind of watched it. Well, I didn't finish it. I
was on a plane and never said I could find
another movie that I wanted to watch.

Speaker 2 (18:15):
I was like, I'll give it a go.

Speaker 3 (18:17):
And and then once they were square dance, and once
they got out of the square dancing part, I don't
even think I made it to him playing football in
the movie.

Speaker 2 (18:24):
I kind of went to sleep. Yeah, yeah, I took
him nap, probably better for it.

Speaker 3 (18:29):
I'm gonna watch it though it's still it's still on,
like the man, It's like it's on there, it's on,
you know. I'm gonna watch it. I'm gonna stream it.
I'm probably gonna miss that. Shots out the Kurt Warner Man. Kurt,
it's a good dude, man.

Speaker 2 (18:40):
You shirt you ever meet him? No, he's a good dude. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
Kurt's good people man.

Speaker 1 (18:48):

Speaker 4 (19:46):
Is so stupid?

Speaker 3 (19:49):
Uh hey, that's a wake you up jam right there though.
It's a Sierra song by the way, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (20:01):
This is Sierra song I got I couldn't name one
of her songs. Well that's Missy Elliott right there. But
as it was that fat scoop? Is that fat mass scoop?

Speaker 3 (20:13):
What's what's the DJ on the on the who is
it sound fat fat mass scoop?

Speaker 1 (20:20):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (20:20):
There you go, shouts out of fat mass scoop rep
And why what a fat man scoop and scoop? See
there she is fat ass scoop. Hold on, now, hold on,
don't be careful on that.

Speaker 4 (20:36):
What do you mean? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (20:37):
Yeah, yo, it is two pros? You mean two pros
and a cup of Joe. Here on Fox Sports Radio
by the way, coming up in about twenty minutes from
now from the tire rack dot Com studios, we're talking
about maybe the most brilliant way to get ready for
a football game that you'll ever hear.

Speaker 3 (20:55):
Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. We will have that discussion. Yeah, or
Taylor Swift sing you a pregame song? They are your
pre game playlist.

Speaker 1 (21:05):
By the way you team Sierra or a team Swift,
it's Sierra and it ain't even close.

Speaker 2 (21:11):
If I mean that was forced to choose. I'm going
with the success because if you aren't, you might have cataracts.
I'm going with the success.

Speaker 4 (21:20):
Bruh.

Speaker 2 (21:21):
Success is beautiful to me.

Speaker 3 (21:23):
Okay, Oh, I love to say both highly successful. They
are both highly successful, but one is much more successful.

Speaker 4 (21:30):
Than the other.

Speaker 3 (21:31):
Yeah, if I go that direction, I'm going to sugar
Mama direction. You know what I mean, just saying. I'm
just saying I need some new sneakers. You might end
up in a song though, or at least two or three.
I mean, as long as it's like positive, it won't be.

Speaker 2 (21:50):
It's not the way she rolls. He's a worrier, he's
a warrior like something like that to that effect. You know,
as long as the song is like something like.

Speaker 3 (22:00):
He's strong and he and he's down there to get
the frixing on, it won't be anything.

Speaker 2 (22:05):
My man's got back. He's not the way she rolls.

Speaker 1 (22:08):
No, Nope, sorry, there is some uh just speaking for me, well,
I mean, you know, you know he's going to be
rolling out Gardner Minshew, he'll be rolling out. He's going
to be taking over the reins for Anthony Richardson. It's
been an now it's four weeks. Richardson will be out
minimum he goes on the IR. That story broke yesterday

(22:30):
shortly after we went off the air. Potentially it could
be eight weeks and listen, Brady Quinn Gardner minshew, could
we be lining himself up for a payday at the
end of the season, like maybe getting a real opportunity somewhere.

Speaker 4 (22:43):
I mean a payday, that's one thing. Just an opportunity,
you know, maybe an opportunity.

Speaker 5 (22:48):
I think the hard thing about a guy like Gardner Minchin,
this is really the hard thing for like any quarterback
that comes into the NFL, for the most part, is
once you get labeled, you get labeled, and it's really
hard to overcome that. Like the thing for Gino that
worked for him was he came in as a rookie,
was kind of inconsistent. You could see the talent, but

(23:10):
just wasn't consistent enough. And then it's like he kind
of just sat behind for what four years or whatever
it was, as a backup, and then he re emerged
as a guy who gets a chance to start and
blows it out of the water. So the hard thing
is is like, not only will it take over this
time span like unbelievable play from Gardner, but it will

(23:32):
take even more than that, because even with Gino Smith
in the year he had last year, which was phenomenal,
he basically signed a one year deal. It was a
three year extension, but kind of a one year deal.
And what's the one thing everyone said coming into this
season about the Seahawks, Well, can Gino do it again?
So that's the hardest thing about playing quarterback in the NFL,

(23:53):
to be quite honest, is you get label with something
as if you hit adversity early and it's really really
hard to get that stank off you if that's the
case early on. And that's the thing with Gardner. Look
at his stats. He's actually played pretty damn well. However,
he's been on some bad teams. He's lost a lot
of games as a starter. So what people are like, oh,

(24:14):
I can't win games, or oh he turns it. It's like, no,
he's actually pretty good. You just got to give him
a chance.

Speaker 2 (24:20):
Have you ever not been able to get the stink
off of you? And if not, how long did it
stank before it dissipated.

Speaker 4 (24:27):
I've never been sprayed by a skunk. I heard.

Speaker 5 (24:30):
That's like pretty much it. I'll put it this way, though,
I do feel like, you know, when like one of
your kids pukes. We had this happen like a couple
of weeks ago.

Speaker 9 (24:40):
That smell, it's like you almost have to throw out
whatever it is puked on, which so hardby puke or
big big kid puke, no, big kid pike.

Speaker 2 (24:51):
Yeah, that's the worst. Those are the worst. Those are
the worst. Weird, that's that sank though. That's a bad
stink and you.

Speaker 4 (25:02):
Can't get it out of your nose though it sticks
with you.

Speaker 3 (25:04):
Well and it's hard to look at and you got
to clean it up, and there's just so many there's
so many things wrong with a big kid puke. Honestly,
it's bad. Yeah, you're on your way, Jonas, You're on
your way. No, you'll experience it already. I already told you.
We get to that point. I mean, adoption is a
real possibility.

Speaker 2 (25:22):
Is it just like fire them off?

Speaker 1 (25:24):
Like listen, you know whatever, It's like a badge of honor,
like a package deal. If he throws he throws up
in my car. I'll give you the truck and the
kid for like thirty five bucks, like easy, right there.

Speaker 4 (25:34):
And I mean that was how fast you how fast?

Speaker 2 (25:38):
Well you lose man, I would lose it immediately. But yes,
if I could get thirty five bucks from my truck
right across.

Speaker 1 (25:50):
Now, the other bit of news that came, well, I
don't know if it's news, but there's been some speculation.
We talked about it when Justin Jefferson went on the
IR in Minnesota that could this potentially open up the
possibility of the Vikings looking at selling off some pieces
because their season is presumably done and Kirk Cousins is there.

(26:13):
He's got a no trade clause, but this is the
final year of his deal. And Kirk Cousins was asked
yesterday by the media about this situation, and it went
a little something like this, Kirk, is there.

Speaker 5 (26:25):
Any scenario where you would wave your no trade clause
before the trade deadline?

Speaker 10 (26:28):
You know, I'm just very focused on the Bears and
going one to oh this week and anything else is
just not worth my time or energy or attention.

Speaker 2 (26:37):
Thanks Kirk.

Speaker 3 (26:38):
So with that being said, yes, I can exercise that,
and I will if I need to. Okay, this is
the question I got though, It's like you don't even
need to ask that question though you have the clause
for a reason.

Speaker 1 (26:50):
But would it makes sense for anybody in the NFL
to trade for Kirk Cousins at this point?

Speaker 2 (26:58):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (27:00):
Season, Yes, Okay, because it feels like it makes more
sense for Minnesota to do it if they're going.

Speaker 2 (27:05):
To go in that direction. I mean, would you do it?
Would you do it? Let me ask you and you
can chime in on this. Would you do it if
you're New England? No?

Speaker 4 (27:15):
Probably not. Rather, with the draft, some of these teams, Yeah,
the draft class is so good, but.

Speaker 3 (27:21):
Do you think do you think you're going to get someone?
They're not going to get the top top pick. You
think they could get the top top I don't think
they're going to get it. They're in the conversation they're
not going to get it. Yeah, I don't think they're gonna.

Speaker 4 (27:30):
Who right now would be the top five teams drafting.

Speaker 2 (27:34):
The Bears would have one in two. I know that, okay,
because they got.

Speaker 5 (27:39):
They would have one and two from Carolina and then yeah,
and then you're looking at a.

Speaker 4 (27:46):
Bunch of one loss teams after that, right, So.

Speaker 2 (27:48):
Yeah, so let me get I've got the draft order
coming up here, efforting at this. Let's let's put that,
let's put it so let me play.

Speaker 4 (27:56):
Let me put it out this way. Though, Jonas is
playing from.

Speaker 5 (27:59):
The perspective of is there a trade partner that would
be one to trade and make that deal. I also
think there's a fair conversation we have, like would Kirk Cousins.

Speaker 2 (28:10):
Right, of course that's the best part of it obviously, But.

Speaker 5 (28:13):
But but the difference is, like you got everyone got
a window into his personal life with the quarterback series,
and one thing I took away from that is like,
he is a family man.

Speaker 4 (28:23):
He really loves being dad, he loves being there with him.

Speaker 5 (28:27):
I look at it and just say, I don't know
that he want to uproot his family to go somewhere
else for a little more than half a season. That
mind you, if they need a quarterback, they're probably not
in the playoff hunt. So very similar to Minnesota, which
I guess as a win win team, you might say
they still haven't played any divisional games, like they could

(28:48):
still climb back out of this. Why would you leave
to go somewhere that's unfamiliar, a new offense, new pieces
around you. Does that really give you the best chance
of success? Is that going to make you happy if
you go there? So those are all the questions.

Speaker 3 (29:02):
If they're trying to trade you, would you be happy
where you're at knowing that they don't want you.

Speaker 5 (29:07):
I don't think it's that because I think they knew
they didn't extend them before the season.

Speaker 4 (29:11):
So it is what it is.

Speaker 5 (29:13):
Right like he, I think he knows he can get
out of there a few once after the season, is
a free agent.

Speaker 1 (29:17):
Here's the draft order right now. Bears have one and two,
Denver's three, the Vikings are four, and the Patriots are five.
Oh well, could be Patriots with the Giants and the
Cardinals right behind.

Speaker 2 (29:31):
I just don't know that makes sense. Then that makes
a little bit.

Speaker 4 (29:33):
And then look at it. Look at it from this perspective, Jonas,
What are those teams in the division? Divisional play?

Speaker 5 (29:41):
Because again I don't want to make too big of
a deal about it, but like we've had losing teams
win their division.

Speaker 1 (29:47):
Did Tampa Bay stunk last year? Tampa Bay was Tampa
Bay was below five hundred last year. Weren't they, I think,
and they won the division.

Speaker 5 (29:55):
Yeah, But I'm not trying to make it that the
NASC North stinks or anything like that. Detroit's clearly the
top of that division right now. But you know, Minnesota
could find their way into some wins where all of
a sudden it turns around looks a little different.

Speaker 4 (30:09):
They haven't played, so I don't know.

Speaker 5 (30:12):
I just I think from the Kirk Cousins perspective, from
another team out there perspective, I don't know. I don't
see it happening because I also don't know that he'd
want to go there and wave the no trade clause
unless they agreed to an extension. And so he knows
he's going with his family for the next three years
or so, and he's making north of forty five million

(30:32):
a year.

Speaker 2 (30:34):
That and that probably would be what jacks it up.

Speaker 3 (30:38):
That would that would and when I mean jacket up,
not take it higher, mess it up, That's what I
mean that that that's certainly that element of it would
mess it up. Because if a team isn't willing or
ready to do that, then why would they do it?
And then you got to think about who with the
who with that what team would that be? Now, I
think there's a couple of teams that could use him.

(31:00):
I think, I mean, if I threw out I mean the.

Speaker 2 (31:03):
Jet, the Jets is the most obvious and then the
most talked about. But I don't know that.

Speaker 4 (31:07):
But you're not.

Speaker 1 (31:07):
That's not long term, right, That's that can't be a
long term It's basically a mercenary trade.

Speaker 3 (31:14):
What's crazy is is if they didn't do the extension
with Daniel Jones, I mean New York, the other New
York team would most likely make sense.

Speaker 2 (31:24):
I mean, Kirk Cousins probably doing.

Speaker 3 (31:26):
Much better job getting the ball to those receivers than
what he is Daniel Jones is. Right now, I would assume,
I mean, there's a couple more teams out there. I
would think that, honestly speaking, maybe Pittsburgh might feel the
same way.

Speaker 4 (31:43):
There.

Speaker 3 (31:44):
I mean, there are a few teams out there where
you could look at it and say, you know what,
we could buy ourselves a little bit of time and
and and give this other quarterback a little bit more
time or bring him in at bring bring Kirk Cutt.

Speaker 2 (31:58):
I don't I don't know, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (31:59):
It's it's a lot of variables to try to work
through for it to make sense wherever it would happen.

Speaker 1 (32:04):
I mean, it would never happen because I don't think
he would go back. But I think Washington's a playoff
team with Kirk Cousins.

Speaker 2 (32:10):
I really do.

Speaker 3 (32:11):
That's a good call. That's a good one. But I
don't know that's a good one. Hard to believe that
that would happen. That's a good one. I mean, it's
a new ownership group. Yeah, maybe he doesn't have horror
Phil it's new coaching staff. Maybe why have horror feelings
towards them?

Speaker 1 (32:23):
Yeah, Sometimes you gotta graduate past those hard feelings. Speaking

mooarding Brady, Guys, casey missed it.

Speaker 2 (34:30):
There's a forecast of seventy fou wow.

Speaker 10 (34:37):
Well, guys, yeah, case you miss it, Hayley, Hey Brady,
there is a seventy percent chance of showers this weekend
for USC versus Notre Dame game, and in preparation for that,
USC coaches have been spraying the punt returners with hoses
as the field.

Speaker 2 (34:55):
Putts videos of s.

Speaker 4 (35:00):
Did you well, I mean LeVar tell them that this
is nothing.

Speaker 3 (35:03):
Yeah, that that isn't nothing, and they'll soak soak balls
and and uh put the balls right on into water buckets,
like make sure them balls is nice and wet. And
moist and ready to be in the quarterback's hands. Yeah yeah,
so that's there's nothing new. But did you guys see
what the USC players did to that that uh, that returner.
They tried to throw him on the ball. Did you

(35:26):
see that?

Speaker 2 (35:26):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah I didn't. I mean it
makes sense, it makes sense. I've never really seen that, like,
get the hell away from the ball. They all they
all picked him up though, picked him up and was
going to throw him.

Speaker 6 (35:39):
On the ball.

Speaker 2 (35:40):
That's interesting to have that happen. So this is the norm.

Speaker 1 (35:43):
You bring out a garden hose and spray everybody down
while they're fielding punts.

Speaker 2 (35:47):
I mean, was it a water hose? I mean, here's
why it strong, strong nozzle.

Speaker 1 (35:51):
Here's why it doesn't make sense, because if you've seen
USC's defense, you know clearly they're not going to be
receiving any punts. Okay, So I feel like you're kind
of wasting your time there.

Speaker 2 (36:02):
He did not play defense last week.

Speaker 1 (36:04):
Because Notre Dame was going to go up and down
that field at will, the perfect get right game for
the fighting Irish. But I'm a Notre Dame guy, so
maybe I'm biased to that. Are you thinking about that
Brady that there.

Speaker 4 (36:17):
I don't know if you're a Notre Dame guy, I'm
not sure what you are.

Speaker 1 (36:21):
I thought he was a gang cop. We're talking about
tire rack dot com. That's in South Bend, Notre Dame.

Speaker 2 (36:26):
That is very that's true.

Speaker 4 (36:28):
That's true. It is the South Bend. Actually, you've been
there too, haven't.

Speaker 3 (36:31):
You don't worry about where I've been, all right, I
Q has been there. Yeah, there's a few people that
know Brady and South have been that. Damn right, dude, I.

Speaker 4 (36:40):
Need I need to get you guys out there because
I need you guys to do the test track.

Speaker 2 (36:43):
I'm not doing it. And do you get to drive that?

Speaker 4 (36:46):
I felt?

Speaker 2 (36:46):
Do you get to drive it? You got to drive it? Oh? Yeah,
I want to.

Speaker 4 (36:49):
I'll put it this way.

Speaker 5 (36:50):
It was like, I don't think I got above like
sixty sixty five because you have to turn so much,
like you're constantly kind of like spinning out and all that.

Speaker 4 (36:59):
But that turned my stomach in a heart beat.

Speaker 5 (37:02):
And that car is not very big, so I felt
like a little like not claustrophobic, but you just I
don't know.

Speaker 4 (37:09):
It was not a good feeling. The first lap round
with the drive.

Speaker 3 (37:11):
I mean, but was it a good accelerating car, like strong,
oh car?

Speaker 2 (37:16):
Oh yeah, I want to do Yeah, it is it?

Speaker 3 (37:21):
Is it?

Speaker 2 (37:22):
Is it a manual or is it? Is it automatic?

Speaker 4 (37:26):
I think you actually have paddles so you can like, wow.

Speaker 2 (37:29):
You can paddle it.

Speaker 4 (37:29):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (37:31):
Yeah, I want to do it. Let's make it.

Speaker 5 (37:33):
They're they're like the souped up like the souped up No,
they're like the soup up supers like.

Speaker 2 (37:40):
The cars yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you know're
the ones that like race.

Speaker 3 (37:44):
I know exactly what you're talking about, like the Baja
Classic type deals or whatever.

Speaker 4 (37:48):
Yeah, I think I think it's I honestly can't remember.

Speaker 6 (37:50):
I know what you're talking about them. Listen, I want
to do it me. You're doing it, and you're going
to be my passenger. John will just will watch. That's
always watch.

Speaker 2 (38:01):

Speaker 4 (38:02):
Sit in the corner.

Speaker 3 (38:03):
I want you to have an ice while you're sitting
in the passage, sitting and monitor everything. I want you
to have a Milwaukee's Best and I want to see
if you spill a drip.

Speaker 1 (38:12):
Yeah, I just want to you know, maybe maybe I'll
have some riise and roll Bakery while I'm there? Huh
you think about that?

Speaker 4 (38:17):
Brady?

Speaker 2 (38:17):
How's that for South Bend?

Speaker 5 (38:19):
I think you're google searching now places that I've either
sent you stuff or by the way, there.

Speaker 4 (38:25):
That's cinnamon donut they've got. It's the great. It's the
best donut.

Speaker 2 (38:28):

Speaker 4 (38:38):
Man? Is U they don you know how to do it?

Speaker 1 (38:42):
Is there an autograph picture of Cooper cup inside?

Speaker 2 (38:45):
Or no? I mean it's amish?

Speaker 4 (38:47):
Okay, figure alright? What else?

Speaker 10 (38:50):
Let's get out of here, guys. In case you missed it,
Tom Brady, uh work on the street? Is it splitting
from his longtime trainer Alex Guerrero? Is TV twelve facilities
across the count shutting down, where it is that they
will now be rebranded as TB RX and run by
Guerrero tb RX.

Speaker 4 (39:07):
So what is TB by Guerrero?

Speaker 2 (39:09):
Yeah?

Speaker 10 (39:09):
Tom Brady has sold off most of his shares of
the business. The facilities are closing, and it's rumored that
Alex Guero will remain and rebranded TBRX.

Speaker 4 (39:18):
Ah Okay, interesting. Yeah, that's a pretty prescription, right r X.
