(01:29):
com the way tire buying should be. Well, who's convinced
that the Cowboys are back?

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Are they back? The d is back? I know that
was your Super Bowl preview that that was an interesting game.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
I'll just I'll say this, let's hope that's not the
Super Bowl because that was not a very good football game.
There was just something lacking. I don't know what it was.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
I don't know if it's excitement, yeah, offense.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
That's kind of you know, a real home field advantage
for the Chargers. Maybe there was that. I don't know,
there was just something that was missing. But I came
away from that game going, I don't know what you
make of it. I don't know what you do with that.
I mean, it's, you know, the Chargers loop, but I don't.
I don't even really knock or dock the Chargers. I
just look at the Chargers and I go, they feel

(02:21):
like they should be better, Like they feel like they
should be able to do more.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Chargers are going to charger and that's kind of what
they do. You know, great roster franchise quarterback. They just
can't seem to figure it out.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Yeah, and the Cowboys, LaVar's Cowboys are back, another back
in the win column.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
And uh, you know, starting the defense, the defense had
a bounce back game. That's That's what I'll keep it
to Ceedee Lamb had a big game. Yeah, you know
that did played well? Come on, Dak played well. Dak
did play well?

Speaker 2 (02:52):
He did. They'll bounce back. They did.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
I wouldn't say, Oh, I just I don't think offensively
they bounced back.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
I just don't.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
I mean, I don't think that there was enough offensive
output consistency for me to think that their offense is
any different than I've already been thinking. But Dak did
throw the ball well, I mean and c he kind
of did everything. He led them in rushing. That's what
you want. It's not what Dak Prescott I don't want.

(03:25):
But I don't want my quarterback leading that. Maybe Lamar
Jackson that's about it. No, but you got to give
him credit.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
Like you when we asked you what your reservations were
about Dallas, Yes, you said one person.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
Well, I said line and and there and the one
person you're thinking of. Yeah, So Dak Prescott, I'm still
on that boat. Okay, I'm still I'm still on.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
That Okay, So let me ask you, what would it take?
What kind of stat line would it take for you
to say, you know what, I'm a Dak guy all
of a sudden, right, I've got that dat.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
It's not it's not really the stat line, per se Dak. Yeah, yeah,
it's it's not really the stat line. I just I
just think my reservations with Dak Prescott is that I
don't see I don't see him being anything different than
what he is. And that's not I don't feel like

(04:16):
that's me throwing shade at Dak Prescott. I just think
that that's my observation of him as a player, like,
what what you see is what you get. Like, if
you're hoping to get more out of what you see
in Dak Prescott, I think it's a reach.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
And you see I don't think that's more. Well.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
I think that you have to have more from your
quarterback if you're going to be a super Bowl contender,
if you want to be a team that can win
during the regular season, have a chance to win a
game or so in the playoffs, then you're you know
what you have, You're already there.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
I mean, last night he gave you more, Like, can
you admit is he just not do it consistently enough
for you?

Speaker 3 (05:02):
I think it's not consistent. It's not consistent enough. I
don't think it's consistent, and I just don't Again, I
can see and we could go in years past and
say we can see games where we saw brilliance from
Dak Prescott. I mean, I think that's why he's such
a big conversation to begin with, is because you've seen

(05:23):
glimpses of what Dak can can do when he's playing
out a super high level. I mean there's instances, but
I don't feel confident that that's something that he does
on a consistent basis. I mean, I thought he played
well last night, but I think the defense gave his
playing well an opportunity for them to win. I don't

(05:44):
think it was he so lights out and they're so
lights out as an offense last evening that they would
have won the game if the defense hadn't played as well.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
As they did.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
Now, granted, they did go up against a very good
defense last night as well, so give the Chargers credit
for playing, you know, some strong, solid defense as well,
giving their team the opportunity to win the game as well.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
So it was too good defenses.

Speaker 3 (06:09):
So I mean, I'm not I'm not attacking him. I'm
just saying that's just how I feel about him.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
Well, let's listen to the guy who is being attacked
by lebar Arrington one Dak Prescott post game post Hostyle?

Speaker 2 (06:21):
Yeah, what wait?

Speaker 1 (06:22):
What is it just hostile? You start calling him a
Delta Prescott? What are we doing?

Speaker 2 (06:28):
God? Oh my goodness, what are we doing here? Why
are the friendly sky is apparently not so friendly? But
lot three levels?

Speaker 1 (06:39):
But here was number four talking with the media post game.
Would you using your legs today?

Speaker 4 (06:47):
Is that just how the game unfolded or is that
part of the plane going in.

Speaker 5 (06:50):
I'd say that's how the game unfolded. Uh, a little
bit of maybe a conscious effort by myself, just just
coming off of last week, realizing that maybe that's something
I could use, we could use in this sense. And
and then obviously, I mean those guys had some great,
great coverage at the beginning to play, and Mike's Mike
always is preaching about the two point three, and guys

(07:11):
did a great job of coming open after it's staying alive,
offensive line keeping uh, keeping their bodies on someone, giving
me a chance to get out in different lanes, and
so uh kind of how it played. But I think
it's something that can benefit us.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
So there was that Dak press Yet you know that
sounds like who's that?

Speaker 2 (07:27):
Like the way Dak talks, like more of the way
he talks and answers stuff to people. He kind of
sounds like Mike Tomlin. He kind of has that like
that just the commanding way of where he talks, the cadence.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
Maybe not the cadence, yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
Not exactly the voice, but it's like the cadence of
how he says it. Yeah, I can get that.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
No, I could. I could see it because there's like
you gotta.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
Play him next to each other so you can hear it.
That is the way they say stuff.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
There's no real trail on with his answers.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
Yeah, they just keep going one to.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
The next, to the next to the next.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
Boom boom, boom to boom.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
Some would say spitting bars, you know, some would say
that Dak Prescott kind of.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
It's more just a comparison, but it's a high praise. Well,
I just I find them both at our taming, like
do we have a Mike Tomlin dropped? We have any
like anything? We want them to be fat and sassy
and spoiled. It is our job you play.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Would you use your legs today?

Speaker 2 (08:31):
Is that just how the game unfolded or is that
part of the plane going in.

Speaker 5 (08:34):
I'd say that's how the game unfolded. Uh, A little
bit of maybe a conscious effort by myself, just just
coming off of last week, realizing that maybe that's something
I could use.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
Maybe a younger, more relaxed Mike Tomlin.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
From him, But like I think if he gets older
and coaches like he would handle the press probably very
similar to his mic.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
I think that's a great point.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
I don't see it.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
You do, You don't, You don't even hear it.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
No, LeVar doesn't want a cop. He thinks it's like
a copy. It's like this is just a you know,
commarab what it is you're doing.

Speaker 1 (09:10):
I'm not doing anything.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
You're going to stop reading into this, fuddy. Just have
some fun. It's a Tuesday morning. Yeah, come on, fun,
love fun. I don't love Tuesdays, but I love fun.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
Let me know, all right, the touchdown run for Dak Prescott? Okay,
but nice?

Speaker 2 (09:29):
Nice? What was it read? He read it?

Speaker 1 (09:31):
It was almost a fun hand off. It was almost
a fumble. So whose fault is that on Brady? That
that the ball was almost fumbled? Did Dak, like did
Tony Pollard not get the right read or what happened
there because that ball was nearly.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
It's it's usually on the quarterback because it doesn't matter
what the running back does. The running back's position to
be able to get the football. It's the quarterback's job
to be able to read and then pull that thing
and be decisive with whatever you do. So it usually
falls on the quarterback in this case because the running
back at some point has to like want to take it.

(10:07):
He has to like, okay, I have to go, you know,
like there's always so much where you can when you
go through the mesh point where you could wait. So
usually it's on the quarterback as far as the read
and being decisive with that read.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
But that and adjusted almost fumbled picked it up. And
this is a guy who's running like that after spending
eleven hours sedated getting a leg tattoo. I think that's
one of the more impressive feeds of all sedated. Yeah,
they put they do sedation for tats. Yeah, they put
them out for a lot to be sedated. I didn't
want to deal with the pain.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
Somewhere where did you read?

Speaker 1 (10:48):
That's, in fact fact.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
A new thing. He admitted to it being sedated.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
Yeah, he was sedated for like eleven hours while they
were doing his full leg tattoo, and Jerry Jones found
out about it and was a little bit disturbed by it.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
Yeah. I think being sedated for any long period of
time is healthy.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
Yeah, it's like eleven hell hours. Yeah, but he needed
to get it done. It's impressive artwork. I mean it's
the entire leg and then.

Speaker 2 (11:19):
He had to finish that thing up.

Speaker 3 (11:20):
Yeah, so you could cover it up with your socks
and stuff.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
Right, you know, yeah, you with your jordash. You know,
you gotta be able to cover that whole thing up.
So it may as well be sedate if you want
to get all the fine work done. But yeah, that's
eleven twelve hour sedation to get a leg tattoo. But
I mean, look, some of the conversation with tattoo artists
are a little bit awkward anyways, so I'd probably want
to be sedated. Also, I don't want to talk to
those guys. Just get get the work done and let

(11:48):
me get out of here. So don't blame him. But yeah, I.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
Believe it's ortega Ink that does this. They're they're pretty
hot on the market.

Speaker 2 (11:56):
Aren't there.

Speaker 1 (11:56):
Are they the only ones to do sedation?

Speaker 3 (11:58):
No, I don't think they're the only one, but I
think they're the ones that are doing the high profile,
you know, the high profile artwork.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
Yeah, there's also a guy, mister Cartoon I think it is,
is that the State cartoon. He's one of the more
famous uh tattoo artists out there. So when Brady Quinn
gets that, you know that big Notre Dame number ten,
shamrock on his shoulder.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
Not doing it.

Speaker 3 (12:22):
Come on, not doing it. I'm getting messages. He does
actually sound like Mike tom with my.

Speaker 2 (12:29):
It's it's like, yeah, you're getting too tied up into
the like the sound, it's like his cadence, he said.
Jonah said, he sounds like a younger, more laid back version.
I don't feel like I could feel like when he
gets older, if he coached, he'd sound like Mike Tomalin. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (12:48):
I don't have it, but I guess I'll have to
give it some more thought and some more time.

Speaker 1 (12:52):
I guess that's all right. I mean, listen, you know,
we I feel like we're really identifying comps because a
lot of people want to do physical comps or player.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
Yeah, we what sedation compstance? What we want? We want
that when you get knocked out for eleven hours, we
want to see, like who does remind who's a reminder
of like weekend at Bernie's, Like who would be the
closest comp for that?

Speaker 1 (13:12):
Oh, I mean going out for eleven twelve hours? Yeah,
that's I mean, I mean maybe he needs to do
it before every game. Damn, damn.

Speaker 3 (13:24):
I mean his legs, you know, he's gaining reviews from
from our show today. I mean, maybe he needs to
get that eleven hour sedation before every game.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
What's so long as you guys have been sedated for
a surgery?

Speaker 2 (13:39):
Okay, well, I don't know. I guess this is an
ignorant question. Maybe it's not as being like when you're
like an anesthesiaologist comes in and puts you out. Is
that the same as being sedated? I feel like that's
a deeper level because you're asleep, like you might not
wake up. Sedation there's like you're looking like the Twilight Zone, right.

Speaker 3 (14:00):
Oh yeah, it's more like going to sit in a
dentist's office chair, you know.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
Okay, so you I told you guys this, like I
don't like MRIs, and so I got sedated one time
to go in an MRI, and I was just like
it was that was a different experience than like surgery
where you're going in and they're like all right, and
you should be getting sleepy and three two and.

Speaker 1 (14:23):
Then you're out, you know, and that's it.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
Well yeah, then you wake up, You're like, what happened?
But isn't that that's wouldn't I be considered fully sedated?
I don't know. I don't know any of this, but yeah,
that's my only question. Yeah, when I woke up from
what I thought was sedation versus whatever the anesthesiologist does,
I was like, all right now, I feel like drugged.

Speaker 1 (14:47):
Up all for a leg tattoo. But you know what
showed that bad boy off on Monday night football, staring
right into the eyes of all the haters out there,
all the haters that don't want to give him any
credit that he's trying to You're this team to a
super Bowl, and he did it right there on a big.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
All the haters. And there are different levels of sedation.
There is a sedation scale in.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
The in the world's largest Gazebe stadium. Yeah it was
eleven hours. It's a long ass time.

Speaker 2 (15:15):
No, I know that.

Speaker 3 (15:16):
But I'm saying like five levels of sedation. Minimum sedation
a drug indue state during which patients respond normally and
verbally commands and respiratory and cardiovascular function is unaffected. That's minimum.
That's probably what he got is a minimum sedation. Then
there's moderate sedation you're conscious, Then there's deep sedation, and

(15:41):
then there's general anesthesia.

Speaker 2 (15:43):
Yeah that's surgery.

Speaker 1 (15:44):
Okay, if you got to wait in the d MB line.
Can you get sedated? Just kind of set that thing
out and then as soon as you're never going, and
then you're never going.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
Edible, let me give you some advice and LeVar can
pitching on this, all right, Jonas, Waiting in the DMV
line is nothing like the school pickup line, all right,
that is way worse. You'd much rather be in your
DMV line. As an example, So as you continue to
grow these experiences of life, start using the kids pick
up line, because that's the worst you have to go

(16:15):
to once your sons going to school.

Speaker 1 (16:18):
Well, I believe it because there's a there's a middle
school right around the corner from my house, and school
gets out and I think three o'clock and by two
twenty the cars are lined up.

Speaker 3 (16:30):
It's so funny that you say that, And it's so
funny that you would say that, because when I pick
my daughter up, I go an hour or so early,
so I really first in.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
Line, just so I don't have to wait, just so
I don't have to wait. And given to the people
who go and wait for an hour, it's the same
amount of time to spend it.

Speaker 3 (16:48):
You're that's what I was about to say, that's the
funny thing about it is you're going to wait the hour.
I'd rather wait the hour being in front, knowing that
when we get started, I don't have to wait the
hour on the back end, other than wait the hour
before I get there and sit on the back end
of the line and I have to wait like forty
minutes forty five minutes.

Speaker 1 (17:07):
Plus to where my kid is at that time. There's
more room for limousines, so like, but when you pull up,
like it's easier probably to get a spot there, I suppose.

Speaker 2 (17:14):
Well on first first stuff, like, what are you trying
to say, LeVar drives a limousine. Yeah, it picks like
he's a limousine driver.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
Now he picks up his kid. No, he's got to drive.
What you're saying, he's sitting in the back.

Speaker 3 (17:26):
Nobody does anymore. My god, that's that's like that's early
two thousands.

Speaker 1 (17:32):
Yeah, well you see my truck. That's about when I
stopped shopping for cars.

Speaker 3 (17:36):
So that's not a limo. That's the Sanford and Son.
Yeah special great great versions.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
Got some yard rakes and yeah, trash bags in the back, lawnmower,
have yard racing back why not just you know, address
it up.

Speaker 3 (17:51):
I t make it look like you'd be hired landscape.
It would have been an easy comeback for what you
just asked you. But I'm gonna leave that one.

Speaker 1 (17:59):
Yeah, I think I know where you were going.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
Okay, you just constantly trying to put off these landscaping vibes.

Speaker 3 (18:06):
Well Jonas really really and well yeah nothing, nope.

Speaker 2 (18:13):
Well not know.

Speaker 3 (18:15):
Finally for you, if I do, you know when I
take twenty three and meter though that that BIRDO always.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
Used to say, you black dog. I know. I mean,
I'm just saying you work it out.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
Berto would a bit of your ear right now will
make it.

Speaker 2 (18:27):
A joke, Yes, he would.

Speaker 3 (18:29):
I'm glad you're pulling it together too, because that's exactly
where I was hitting.

Speaker 2 (18:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:35):
Well listen, where we're headed is to a break, because
it'll break two pros and a cup of Joe. Here
on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Joe to
Snoch with you. So we are gonna have the usuals
coming up later on. We do have another edition of
In case you missed it, We've got would you rather
an hour two we close up shop with you?

Speaker 2 (18:50):
Any of you out.

Speaker 1 (18:51):
It's all yours. It's a three hour extravaganza here on
FSR from the tire Rack dot Com Studios. But coming
up next, we do have an update. One of the
bright young stars in the NFL is done. We'll give
you the details on that. That's here on FSR.

Speaker 6 (19:09):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 2 (19:23):
I want to be somedated.

Speaker 1 (19:25):
Just an idiot.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
He's so stupid.

Speaker 1 (19:28):
Sale you gotta seat.

Speaker 3 (19:32):
This song is in like every good eighties movie, right,
like every fun movie?

Speaker 2 (19:38):
Right?

Speaker 1 (19:39):
Is the Ramones? Is that what this babandness is? I
think it is? Yeah, Well, if it's not, screw them.
It is Two Pros and a Cup of Joe here
on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox
with you coming up here less than twenty minutes from
now from the tire Rack dot Com Studios. Apparently, the

(20:00):
buzz surrounding a big event coming up is a little
bit astronomical, a little bit out of control and maybe
this show is largely responsible for it. So we will
explain why that's coming up here less than twenty minutes
from now on Fox Sports Radio. So, Jim Rsay, the
Colts owner, he had some bad news for everybody out there.

(20:22):
Anthony Richardson, who's dealing with the shoulder injury. Jim Irsay
told ESPN Stephen Holder on Monday, quote, the most likelihood
is that he's probably going to be gone for the year.
It's not definite, but he probably misses the year. And
we're going to have to contend with that factor because
they are looking at the surgery to get done and

(20:42):
that could shut down Anthony Richardson for the season and
we just roll this whole thing back next year. So
not great, not ideal for a guy who showed promise
but again couldn't be finished. What one game and every
other game that he was a part of there was
some sort of an injury or something popped up. And
so with this shoulder edge of or injury, we're gonna

(21:04):
see Gardner Minshew for the long term and maybe for
the rest of the season for the Indianapolis Colts.

Speaker 2 (21:09):
So is that the answer?

Speaker 3 (21:10):
Do you guys feel, first of all, first of all,
speedy recovery and hope, hope, you know everything works out
for uh for Richardson. Do you guys see Anthony's situation, Like,
how do you guys interpret that? Are they just playing
it cautious or is it a more serious injury that
let's start there, Like I got to interpret it.

Speaker 2 (21:33):
Well, Look, I think they're being cautious with an injury
that they they don't want something else to be more
serious than this. I mean, as much as this is
concerning to you, there's still an element of, you know,
I think that need to be cautious. He's a rookie quarterback.
He's a top or five pick. I mean, he's got
a lot of time left ahead of him, and he's

(21:55):
a tremendous talent. He's proven it a short time span.
He could be a difference maker. So I think all
those things give them cause for patience with him. I
think the more concerning part is, you know, part of
playing quarterback is being able to preserve your right to
play the next down, you know, and this is one

(22:18):
of those things that's a bit controversial because there's guys
who will get rid of the football instead of hanging
on to it. And trying to make something more happen,
and in doing so, it might look like they're giving
up on a play, which some people hate, you know,
but it still gives them a chance to come out
the next series and be able to you know, throw

(22:38):
a touchdown pass or bring the team back. There's other
guys who want to make it feel like every single
play is their last opportunity to ever play. They came
of football and they're going to try to extend it
and make something happen. And those guys are fun to watch.
It's entertaining. You love them because they never want to
give up, but they also sometimes can hurt themselves in
not realizing when to give up and move on to

(22:59):
the play. And so Anthony Richson comes in the NFL.
He has his string of injuries just through his first
three starts before he asked him his time, and he
only had a one year sample size in college. And
so I think the things we knew about him coming
out from Florida was he was a tremendous talent, strong arm,

(23:19):
great athlete, and we saw when he got in the
NFL like, hey, all those things are true, but does
he know how to protect himself? Does he know how
to play the game where he can be here playing
for us for the next decade. Like that's a it's
a legit question that I think. It's one thing that's
really hard to evaluate when you only see a quarterback

(23:42):
play for one year and start for one year. And
that's what Anthony Richardson was, And I think there's other
quarterbacks you could probably throw into that conversation. But that's
the more concerning thing moving forward is is his is
his style of play ultimately going to keep him from,
you know, equating to the player that he's capable of being, Like,
can they teach him to protect himself and his manners

(24:04):
or style of play?

Speaker 3 (24:06):
And then my second question to you guys would be,
do you guys feel like because the Colts have have
been they have been competitive, they got Jonathan Taylor back,
but they lose with Gardner Minshew as as the starter.
Can they can they still win with Gardner Minshew?

Speaker 1 (24:27):
Yeah? I'm curious to see what Minshew looks like with
this long of a of a path to or this
long of a I guess.

Speaker 2 (24:37):
He doesn't feel rushed.

Speaker 1 (24:38):
Yeah, and to where it's not just spot start here
a game here, two quarters here, this, and this. He's
got an actual runway to where he can play. I'm
curious to see how that looks because he hasn't really
gotten that chance. And even when he did get to
play early on in Jacksonville was because you know, they
signed Nick Foles to that big deal. He got hurt
first game of the year against Kansas City, and then

(24:59):
Gardner Minshew just got thrown in there. And he's played.
I mean, if you look get his numbers, like we've
talked about, he's played well. I mean Sunday wasn't great.
He didn't look great at Jacksonville. But I'm wondering how
this looks long term.

Speaker 2 (25:11):
The tough thing for him is like, if that's their
game plan moving forward, right, Like that's how they think
they're gonna go try to win this thing. I don't
think it's gonna work out. Well, you're gonna ask him
to throw fifty five times a game? Well, yeah, and
look we can act like, oh it's twenty one to
six at halftime. It's halftime, you're only down two scores.

(25:33):
You don't need to completely abandon the run game. Zach
Moss and Jonathan Taylor. That's plenty of time to get
back into it. So if that's their game plan moving forward, like, yeah,
that's a problem. Now if you want to flip the
script and if you're saying, hey, we want to run
the ball fifty five times, we're gonnaly go to throw
fifteen times. That's a little better for me when you

(25:55):
got Jonathan Taylor and Zach Moss in the backfield with
that offensive line. So I think it all depends on,
you know, what position they put him in moving forward.
The Colts defense played well, it's just you know, Minshew
threw three picks and put him in short fields and
you know, Jaguars were able to capitalize, and it's just
that's the tough part is I think Minshew can play

(26:16):
well for them, it's just they can't put him in
a tough spot. I feel like they did that this
past Sunday.

Speaker 1 (26:22):
Yeah, so we will get to see this whole thing
play out and then you know, we'll get confirmation as
to whether or not Anthony richards And is going to
be done for the year. Trevor Lawrence, by the way,
in that game, he banged up his knee. He's day
to day. They've obviously got a short week, so They've
got Thursday against New Orleans Saints coming up, so we
get to see whether or not Trevor Lawrence will be
a part of that one. So all sorts of stuff

(26:43):
happening as far as the NFL quarterback carousel and injuries go.
Justin Fields has got the dislocated thumb, so it looks
like he's going to at least miss this game against
the Raiders coming up. So Tyson Bajant from Shepherd State
or wherever the hell it's from Division three, Division two?
Who knows?

Speaker 6 (27:03):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (27:05):
Today? Man, it's pretty good, my guy.

Speaker 1 (27:08):
Okay, what is the difference between a Shepherd's pie and
a cottage pie? Is it the same thing?

Speaker 2 (27:14):
I don't know. What about Yo Mama's pie?

Speaker 1 (27:17):
What about a moon pie? Oh?

Speaker 2 (27:19):
Gosh, isn't that that's a dessert?

Speaker 1 (27:22):
Yep? Little moonpie? Sandwich?

Speaker 2 (27:24):
What is that pie? Fill in there? What's the your
Mama's pie? Like? What is that? She's a dumb Oh?

Speaker 3 (27:33):
I really thought there might have been a Yo Mama pad.
It might be that was like that doesn't that.

Speaker 1 (27:38):
A plot to meat?

Speaker 2 (27:42):
I never heard of?

Speaker 1 (27:43):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (27:44):
Man, I'm curious.

Speaker 1 (27:45):
Well, who knows. At some point during the course of
the show, we might discover that there is one speaking
of thanks Brady, Yeah, you got it. True leader here.

take us to what do you want? It was lost
in this in the stack? Okay, I only missed one line.

Speaker 2 (28:27):
You did take us to the break, you know what
I mean? If you would, can I just say this?
Can we stop my fund? Can we stop having Lee
put those live reads right at the first segment? It
never works out? Well, our hit rates like sixty percent.
I'm just I don't know why he does that.

Speaker 1 (28:42):
Well, those aren't live reads. Those are like we we
we believe and that's just the way of life.

Speaker 2 (28:47):
That's right, Yeah, that's right. Well whatever we call that then? Yeah,
can we not do it after the first segment?

Speaker 6 (28:52):
No?

Speaker 1 (28:52):
No, listen, I mean, there was a little bit of
a hiccup. That was my fault, I.

Speaker 2 (28:55):
Know, but we always have hiccups when we put it there,
and I try to explain that to people bind the scenes,
and no one wants to keep track of that. Man,
love me.

Speaker 1 (29:03):

Speaker 6 (31:18):
The guys are here to bring you in case you

Speaker 1 (31:23):
And for that we turn it over to our executive producer,
Lee lap Goode. Morning everybody. Good morning, Jonas, Morning Brady,
Morning LaVar.

Speaker 2 (31:33):
How you guys doing today?

Speaker 4 (31:36):
Guys, In case you missed it, we were just talking
about the differences between Cottage Pi and Shepherd's Pie.

Speaker 2 (31:41):
I did a little research during the.

Speaker 1 (31:42):
Lap Oh come on, hey, buddy, I was so lackluster.
Come on, Var, what do you mean if the cowboys
would have lost.

Speaker 2 (31:55):
There?

Speaker 4 (31:55):
It is one of the big key differences between findeshep
Hey Brady is that Cottage Pie uses minced meat while
Shepherd's Pie uses ground meat, usually lamb, and it actually
uses some of the juices from minced minced beef as.

Speaker 1 (32:12):
The bron It's a lot of broth, but they all
have the potatoes on the top.

Speaker 2 (32:18):
Yeah, yeah, I'm seeing from a trusted source. True Shepherd's
Pie is made with lamb, Cottage with beef.

Speaker 1 (32:26):
Correct.

Speaker 2 (32:27):
So that's the biggest differential and.

Speaker 4 (32:28):
Sometimes Shepherd's pie uses sliced potatoes while cottage uses mashed,
but you could actually use mash on both.

Speaker 3 (32:34):
I'm a cottage Well can I ask you guys this,
Why are you able to call a pot pie a
pot pie and it uses different different meats?

Speaker 4 (32:45):
Well, because that's a chicken pot pie or a turkey
pot pie.

Speaker 2 (32:48):
It's just a beef pot pie too. Well.

Speaker 4 (32:51):
Yeah, it's all about the pastry makes it the pie.

Speaker 1 (32:53):
Right, Yeah, I'm a cottage pie guy. Lee and I
had it at in Dublin.

Speaker 2 (32:58):
We were out there. How was it?

Speaker 1 (33:00):
It was fantastic. But it'll shut shut your whole body down.
But cold weather, cold weather throw down a cottage pie.
A couple of you couldn't.

Speaker 2 (33:10):
Do anything good. You can walk and move. You just
you were sedated.

Speaker 1 (33:13):
Oh, I mean most people couldn't. But yeah, you know me,
I just battled through all.

Speaker 2 (33:17):
So that's that's what Dak took. He just took cottage pie.

Speaker 1 (33:19):
Before he had an eleven hour cottage pie. His leg
worked on.

Speaker 4 (33:25):
By the way, I got to call out Sam for
not playing cherry pie on the bounce back music.

Speaker 1 (33:31):
That's not a good but a good idea of this crew,
I can tell you that.

Speaker 4 (33:36):
All right, guys, Well, in case you missed it, we're
obviously going to be in Columbus this weekend.

Speaker 2 (33:40):
What you mean by that?

Speaker 1 (33:41):
Jonas not doing it?

Speaker 2 (33:44):
Wait? Lee's going to to Columbus. Yeah that dangerous.

Speaker 4 (33:48):
Oh yeah, coming to ruin everything, guys.

Speaker 2 (33:52):
Oh.

Speaker 4 (33:52):
I would say Penn State is obviously the reason we're
going to be out there hanging out a graduate. But
a lot of fans are upset, not just because of
the new kickoff time of the game, but also because
of the ticket prices. Lowest price you could get in
is two forty. That's just to get in the doors.
That's nose bleeds right behind the end zones, but the
average ticket price is hovering around seven to fifty.

Speaker 2 (34:13):
First off, when fans get upset about stuff like this,
I'm like, it's a good thing. It means your teams
are good. It means people are dying to see your
team play. Like I understand, it's frustrating because the expense
with it, but that's the world we live in now.
And then on top of that, I just I mean,
it doesn't really even compare. I think Colorado's at one

(34:34):
point the cheapest was like five hundred bucks. So I
don't know. I always am a little bit confused why
people get so frustrated with ticket prices. I understand the expense,
but it is what it is. Like, That's how it's
everywhere across the country.

Speaker 1 (34:51):
Brady, how many games have you been to in the
Horseshoe Groad?

Speaker 2 (34:55):
A lot?

Speaker 1 (34:55):
Okay? So how bad are the Nosebleed Seeds? Is it
two hundred and four dollars worth? Or you just better
off watching watching it on Fox?

Speaker 2 (35:04):
You would be better off probably watching it on Fox.
I as a kid, I grew up sitting in the
Nosebleeds watching Ohio State play versus Rice and like versus
some of those lesser opponents early in their schedule, back
in the John Cooper days. So I mean, you could
see everything, but you are way up there. If you

(35:24):
got a fear of heights, I would not go up there.

Speaker 3 (35:27):
But if you think about it, these games be jam
packed up to the top. So some people are like,
that's like their thing. Yeah, you know, that's what makes it.
You know, some people want to be closer. Some people
are okay with being far away, like that's the thing.

Speaker 2 (35:44):
Got a view of campus and downtown while watching the
game on a beautiful day. It's that makes a really
nice atmosphere.

Speaker 3 (35:52):
Some people are willing to camp out and and wait
to get those free student tickets.

Speaker 2 (35:57):
Students seriously, like if the tickets were more expensive, your
team's probably not very good. Yeah, Like this is what
comes along with your team being a national title contender.
Like that's just how it works. And by the way,
for Ohio State, they didn't have a great home schedule.
This is the game this season. So if you have
to shell out for one game, this is it, folks,
Like this is the only one that's that big of

(36:19):
a game the rest of the way in Columbus. So
I understand the frustration, but I also, you know, look
at it and say, you got to realize, this is
it for Ohio State. This is their biggest game at
home this entire season, and versus a very formidable opponent
in Penn State.

Speaker 1 (36:37):
By the way, a huge game, Penn State getting four points.

Speaker 2 (36:41):
Four and a half some books I saw. Come on, bar,
I know how you feel about that.

Speaker 3 (36:45):
Bar, we are I don't want to get too confident,
but this is a really special group, man. It's a
really special group man. You know, I'm excited to see it.

Speaker 2 (36:55):
Feels like they just need to throw the football downfield more.
You know, I'm not gonna get into that. I'm just
gonna support my squad. That's great.

Speaker 1 (37:08):
And you and Albert Breer got to come over the
bet some sort of a bet. We got to figure
that out on Thursday when Brear stops by.

Speaker 3 (37:16):
So they got some key injuries, don't they right now?
Aren't they running backs? Isn't their backfield kind of in
bad shape?

Speaker 2 (37:25):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (37:26):
I know Henderson missed the game a couple of weeks ago,
but I don't know the update on that.

Speaker 2 (37:31):
I think it's like two others though.

Speaker 1 (37:33):
What else we got lead?

Speaker 4 (37:34):
Well, guys, in case you missed, the Rams went over
the Cardinals on Sunday early. Everybody did, Yeah, exactly. Well,
in case you missed that, something else you might have missed.
It was that early Monday morning, second year cornerback for
the Rams, Darien Kendrick, was arrested. He was pulled over
for a traffic violation, later booked on felony gun charges
for a concealed weapon, as well as marijuana in the

(37:56):
car and bugging.

Speaker 2 (38:00):
So you call it pro player thugging and bugging?

Speaker 1 (38:03):
All right, So which is the thugg in the gun
and then the bugging is?

Speaker 2 (38:07):
How does it go when you're thugging and buggins? It
soundli It sounds like, please step out of the car.

Speaker 3 (38:16):
Sir, you have a controlled substance and you also have
a concealed firearm. Do you have the proper paperworking documentation
for both of those sugging and buggets?

Speaker 1 (38:32):
Dougget and bugging baby.
