Speaker 2 (01:07):
So we open up the show.
Speaker 3 (01:09):
Talking about Aaron Rodgers kind of telling everybody to what
was the term, cool your jets?
Speaker 2 (01:15):
Right, so cool your Jets.
Speaker 4 (01:17):
In corporated the jets and there it was kind of nice.
Speaker 3 (01:19):
Yeah, good, and and he said, look this idea that
I'm gonna be back this season, there's a lot of
things that I've got to get done in the rehab
process to even get to that point, to even make
it a real possibility. So everybody just calmed down. Everybody
just relaxed. Okay, Tranquilo, Trankeelo, just calm down.
Speaker 4 (01:39):
You've heard that said to you quite a bit.
Speaker 3 (01:41):
Yeah, plenty of thanks, Yeah, plenty of times. But somebody
who may actually be returning sooner rather than later is
the one and only Kyler Murray, a man so popular
that they named an appetizer after him. He is potentially
on his way back from suffering that ACL injury that
(02:02):
he suffered late last season, and Cardinal's head coach Jonathan
Gannon was on local Arizona radio. He was talking about
the possibility of Kyler Murray coming back sooner rather than later.
Here he was talking with Burns and Gambo.
Speaker 5 (02:18):
We'll see how the next couple of days ago. But
comfortable where he's at. Like I said, he's getting better
every day. I know he's chopping at the bit. I
kind of sound like a broken record, but when he's
ready to go, he'll go. So feel good about where
he's at, though.
Speaker 4 (02:31):
What are you looking for when you say, let's see
how it goes this week? What do you mean?
Speaker 5 (02:35):
Wanted to make sure before the mental gets put on
him of playing football, to make sure the physical is right.
Just all the different things that you know that he
does as a player and what he wants to be
able to do playing in the position. Make sure that
we can simulate that as much as we can without
being there out there playing football, but that he's feels
(02:55):
comfortable with everything that he's going to need to be
able to do to functional.
Speaker 6 (03:01):
Ask you guys a question before we get too far
away from it. Isn't that what they should be doing
while he's rehabbing anyway? I mean, wouldn't that be the
idea of a Q for a quarterback.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
I think what he's saying is is like the combination
of the physical and mental is what ultimately is going
to stress hit that knee the most.
Speaker 4 (03:24):
Right.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
So he's obviously going through stuff, He's doing things he's
he's been around. It's not just the combination of that,
you know, getting him out there on the field practicing
and doing all this. I don't know that he's able
to do that quite yet.
Speaker 6 (03:39):
Now I'm saying that he's saying the mental before he
even gets to the physical, the mental simulations of what
he's doing. Like I would assume he's in meetings and
he's going through game plans and he's yeah, that's what
I'm saying, is I don't okay, okay.
Speaker 4 (03:56):
I don't think he's referring to that.
Speaker 1 (03:58):
I think he's referring to like having him out there
for like a live game scenario, you know, and and
his body reacting the way it needs to and that
high stress and intense environment. I think that's more what
he's referring to, Like you don't want to put him
out there if he's I mean physically he can check
check everything off from the rehab standpoint. It kind of
(04:18):
like you heard Aaron Rodgers talk about, like there's different
hurdles or benchmarks you need to get to well one
of them is like, once you're cleared from the physical
therapy standpoint, that doesn't mean you're cleared for football. That
means you're clear to get back out there. And then
once you get back out there on the field and
actually doing football stuff, then it comes down to, okay,
like can he handle the intensity of like a live
(04:40):
game rep and and and the mental that comes with
that along with the physical that comes to that once
once his body.
Speaker 4 (04:46):
Is ready to go. I think that's more he's touching on.
At least that's my interpretation.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
Like lebar, like, why you do that? Man?
Speaker 4 (04:52):
Like not a be ten? No?
Speaker 2 (04:54):
No, no, why do you do that?
Speaker 4 (04:56):
That's going to be ten?
Speaker 2 (04:57):
I'm not, I'm not No, Why am I getting super pressent?
Speaker 4 (05:00):
Aggressive? No?
Speaker 6 (05:00):
I don't even know what you're going to say, to
be honest, Okay, but it's still passive aggressive.
Speaker 3 (05:05):
It's like you're trying to say that, what is he
too busy playing video games again, he's not getting mentally
ready that.
Speaker 6 (05:11):
I was not insinuating in being I was just I
just was asking for clarity because when you're rehabbing an injury,
you're not just rehabbing an injury unless you're shut down
for the year. Now, if you're shut down for the season,
then you don't even you're not even really around the team.
You're like a ghost. But if you're going to play
(05:33):
and and you're coming back, then you rehab and you
go to meetings. You're in the meetings, and then you
go rehab. When they're on the field, you rehab.
Speaker 3 (05:43):
What do you think he's got a Nintendo switch of
the meetings? Smith, I mean, it's terrible what you're trying
to get to here, trying to call him out.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
Not being ready to go.
Speaker 4 (05:51):
That'll be another ten.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
Yeah, I can't afford to do that.
Speaker 4 (05:53):
It's a Nintendo switch bottle.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
I can't afford to do This shows one of those.
Speaker 4 (05:57):
Things you connected to, like it's like a hand in hell.
How does Jonas know?
Speaker 3 (06:03):
So, I've heard people have like little Nintendo switches they
take with them. It's very like a lot of athletes
do nowadays, take it on road trips. Yeah, it's a
little like very convenient. It's yeah, they have all the
old games on them and stuff like that.
Speaker 4 (06:20):
Jonas, I.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
Listen.
Speaker 3 (06:22):
I'm just, you know, trying to get to the bottom
of this stuff. That's all I'm trying to do now
if you're the if you're.
Speaker 4 (06:27):
Would it be cool if Kyler Murray dressed up as.
Speaker 6 (06:30):
Mario talk about a life lifelike type of looking Mario brother.
Oh man, I'm just saying wow while we're playing the music. Yeah,
that'd be pretty cool.
Speaker 4 (06:44):
I think you should say bang bang one more time
to this show. I don't know if you said it enough.
Speaker 2 (06:50):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
We were counting kunt Okay, you can't picture Cayler Murray
running on the boards and and Mario.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
Brothers bang bang bang damn.
Speaker 3 (07:02):
Do you think a lot of this is potentially this
regime with the Cardinals who didn't draft Kyler Murray that
want to see what they've gotten in before they got
to make a decision as to whether or not they're
taking a quarterback in the draft. I think that could
be part of this this year. They'd like to at
least kick the tires on what they've got with him
post injury before.
Speaker 4 (07:23):
They moved forward.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
You'd think that they want to like see what he
looks like within soft fans. I mean, right now, things
look good. He's he's I mean, Josh Dobbs's look good.
They've been competitive, they played well, although what's the record
as was it like two and three?
Speaker 4 (07:36):
Now? No, they got one? Winks. I guess you can't.
I guess you can't. Competitive.
Speaker 2 (07:44):
You put that in your silo and smoke it. Sam. Yeah,
oh Brady's still feeling that one.
Speaker 4 (07:49):
Yeah? Did you feel that one? Though?
Speaker 2 (07:51):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (07:51):
Okay, So why are you guys sing? I believe it
a thing called love?
Speaker 2 (07:57):
Yeah, talking about Look, I.
Speaker 4 (08:00):
Think they'd want to see him.
Speaker 1 (08:02):
They want to see how he operates within their system,
their offense, if he can create a little bit of
a spark too, all those things.
Speaker 2 (08:09):
Doesn't it feel like they're better than one in five?
Speaker 4 (08:12):
They're competitive, some would say that if they're Arkansas fans. So, man,
Q just has a hard time letting things go.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
Man, No, Man, I don't know. I'm team Brady here.
Speaker 4 (08:26):
We know that.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
Screw you, we do know that. Oh wow, what do
you think about that?
Speaker 3 (08:30):
Bar?
Speaker 1 (08:33):
Why is everybody turning on each other here? I just
don't know the show, guys. It's like that Spider Man.
Everyone's like pouring the figure out of the other, Like.
Speaker 3 (08:41):
The elevator scene told Departed, everybody's getting shot spoiler. Well, listen,
you know the Cardinals could find themselves in a position
to potentially take a quarterback, or they could just roll
with Kyler Murray moving forward. Do you know, you never
you never quite know.
Speaker 1 (08:58):
They are committed to him five financially at least, like
that's the one element of this.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
I mean, they were making it a point to let
everybody know how involved he was this offseason, how much
you know, maybe you know, Cliff Kingsbury being gone has
been better for Kyler Murray. Maybe that was part of
the issue. Steve Kaim is no longer there. Maybe there's
like a breath of fresh air in the building there,
because it does feel like a different vibe there, and
(09:23):
so maybe he's changed his demeanor maybe And also, look,
he did get hurt. He's now seen his own athletic
mortality flashed before his eyes, and maybe he's more committed
now towards the Arizona Cardinals and want to be the
start of their long term which would set them up
to have either trade out of the spot that they've got,
which could be a top five spot, or they could
(09:45):
just go ahead and take you know, a Marvin Harrison
junior or somebody like that and throw that in the
offense and next thing you know the Cardinals are making
some noise. I mean a lot of optimism there in
the desert for the Cardinals, if you ask me, could
be worse right, Yeah.
Speaker 6 (10:02):
I don't have very many thoughts on it. I thought,
you know, I thought it was pretty much covered. Like
I had my question about the whole idea of simulating
and all those different things, and now you know, I
got that question answered, and that's about it. I think
they're a competitive team that just hasn't won just yet,
(10:23):
you know. And but to see Kyler Murray come back
to see if he can be that, I mean, you
would assume what the job Josh Dobbs has done that
if you get a healthy Kyler Murray back, that they
would be in position to win more games if he's
(10:43):
worth the money he's being paid. So I would be
interested to see how they do when he comes back,
because they are one or two plays away from being
able to win games, you know, And so do they
get those one or two plays if Kyler Murray is
in the lineup, And I think that would be interesting
to see.
Speaker 3 (11:03):
Now, does Jesse Luketa, you're good buddy? Does he say
there's a different vibe in the building there this year.
Speaker 6 (11:13):
No, I mean we we just talk about what he
needs to get done. When we talk, you know, we
talk about how he's improving, and his shoulder has been
a little sore. He was down last game. He wasn't
even active, so you know, we just more or less.
You know, there's the saying you you you mow your
own lawn. So he's just been mowing his own lawn
(11:34):
as it applies to you know, what's going on there.
Speaker 4 (11:37):
So yeah, I don't. I don't.
Speaker 6 (11:39):
I don't even ask him about, you know, what's going
on with the quarterback situation. I just kind of ask
him how he's doing well. I'll ask him, reach out
to him. I'll get you.
Speaker 4 (11:52):
Before Hell. Yeah, we had food together broke Britt.
Speaker 2 (11:56):
You know, little being bones.
Speaker 4 (11:58):
Yeah, why not?
Speaker 3 (12:00):
And some of us are time traveling during that dinner.
But you know, it's a good time.
Speaker 4 (12:04):
Me and Lee.
Speaker 2 (12:07):
No, Lee was writing his eleventy kid me.
Speaker 4 (12:09):
Oh oh, I was by myself.
Speaker 2 (12:11):
That was that was pregame for Lee.
Speaker 4 (12:13):
Come on, man, was it really?
Speaker 3 (12:14):
They bring out smoke drinks that have smoke coming out
of them. He's like, oh man, it's already Monday.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
Lee was happy.
Speaker 4 (12:24):
There were good drinks though. Yeah, I tell you I
enjoyed it.
Speaker 2 (12:27):
Yeah, very very well done.
Speaker 4 (12:30):

Speaker 2 (13:42):
What's happening?
Speaker 4 (13:43):
Good morning? Hello, good morning, good morning.
Speaker 2 (13:46):
How we feel about you?
Speaker 4 (13:47):
Just happening?
Speaker 2 (13:48):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (13:49):
How's the lizardlizzerlizzerlizzer lizards seems tired?
Speaker 2 (13:53):
Hmm I think she's molting?
Speaker 4 (13:56):
Oh? Growing? Huh yes, getting bigger? Okay, how big do
they get like the size of your hand.
Speaker 1 (14:03):
I think it depends on how much you feed it.
But right now it's about as long as my uh,
I don't know. It goes all the way from my
hand to my forearm. It's pretty long.
Speaker 4 (14:12):
Nice wow. Yeah, if you know how big it will
get like it is there.
Speaker 1 (14:15):
No, it's not that big. It's about half that big. Sorry, Okay,
my arm's kind of long. I just put my arm
I was gonna say. I mean, when we recall how
you got the lizard in the first place, it's pretty
cool of you to take care of it. Well, I
like the lizard. The lizard and I are friends. It
is calming for me to hold the lizard and pet
the lizard. I've been pooped on a few times, which
is unfortunate. But I'm beginning to understand the timing of that.
Speaker 4 (14:38):
But what is the ty of that?
Speaker 1 (14:41):
If a thing hasn't pooped in a while and you
bring it out, it's like a loaded gun.
Speaker 4 (14:48):
Is it big poop or just small little turns? Oh?
Speaker 1 (14:50):
Well, the bigger the lizard gets, the bigger the poop gets, Brady,
I mean question, Yes, well, I'm just I'm wondering.
Speaker 2 (14:57):
No, no, I mean, it's been a big weekend.
Speaker 4 (14:59):
Notre Dame.
Speaker 1 (15:01):
Colorado loses an overtime. I mean, look, babies are talking lizards.
Sometimes babies poop a lot. So I'm just saying, like
it's kind of out. It doesn't poop as much as
a baby. I mean, Thomas doesn't eat, so Jonas barely poops.
You know, Well, Jonas is an odd guy, but every every.
Speaker 2 (15:18):
Few days at poops. It's like me. Now, I guess
it is different than a snake, which poops like once
a month.
Speaker 3 (15:24):
You know Petro's you know who took a crap more
recently that lizard or USC?
Speaker 2 (15:30):
Me what's going to say?
Speaker 1 (15:31):
Okay, USC? Did anybody was anybody shocked by this?
Speaker 4 (15:37):
No? I was a bit surprised.
Speaker 1 (15:39):
I didn't think it'd be as I mean from the
get it was just bad. Yeah, and Notre Name controlled
the game for four quarters, but USC he also got
taken to the wall by Arizona's backup quarterback who might
be better than their starter. USC got taken to the wall,
you could maybe say even by Arizona run game by
(16:01):
Colorado in the second half the same way Stanford did
to Colorado in the second half. USC's been losing games
that they won since they played Stanford. I mean after
that game, everything's kind of been negative and downhill, and
it finally caught up to get him. Notre Dame had
a great game plan. They attack Caleb Williams. He's been
(16:24):
terrible under pressure this year. And the funny thing I
thought was that Lincoln Riley, did you guys pick up
on this? They tried to make it out like it
was a victory for SC's defense.
Speaker 2 (16:36):
Well, and he took us.
Speaker 1 (16:37):
They only allowed thirteen points for Notre Dame's offense. Well, yeah,
but I mean you give them a two yard short field.
That's the funny thing to me. You give him a
two yard short field with an interception, a twenty one
yard short field with an interception, those are two touchdowns.
Another interception leads to a field goal. Then you give
(16:58):
them a scoop and score, and they return a kick
for a touchdown. And then you go into the locker
room and talk about your defense didn't give up that
many yards.
Speaker 2 (17:07):
They didn't have to. Like the fact that we don't.
Speaker 1 (17:10):
Look at a full football game anymore, and we don't
think about that sexy word complimentary football. We just try
to seize the stats and.
Speaker 4 (17:19):
Win the moment.
Speaker 1 (17:20):
It's like you got dominated by all four quarters and
Notre Dame didn't have to take offensive risks. I know
that that's got to be probably foreign to Lincoln Riley.
Any game where you don't try to score fifty maybe
a guess feels like a loss. But people were like, oh,
that Notre Dame quarterback only threw for one hundred and
(17:40):
twenty six yards. Yeah, he didn't have to do anything else.
They dominated you. They didn't have to be spectacular to
be what it's supposed to be, the best quarterback in
the country.
Speaker 3 (17:50):
Petros didn't also seem like he was almost in not
that bad of a mood, considering they just got blown
up by their one of their biggest rivals, don't it her,
Mookie Bets. It was just kind of like, well, you know,
it's fine, almost like it's well, it's a non conference game.
Speaker 2 (18:07):
You know, we still got everything on the line when
it comes to the conference.
Speaker 1 (18:09):
And that's the uscbs move whenever they lose to Notre Dame.
You know, well, this doesn't mean anything. It's like, okay,
then why did we do it? You know, look, USC
got exposed. Anybody that doesn't think they did. I mean
we were talking last week on this show that without
Caleb Williams it's probably a six and six, five and
seven football team. And now they're going to have to
(18:31):
face Utah who's going to be super angry and play
tough defense. Now, obviously they don't have their quarterback or
their best tight end and all that, but still, I mean,
I don't know how many more games USC is going
to win.
Speaker 6 (18:48):
Did Caleb Williams lose the Heisman in this game?
Speaker 4 (18:53):
Maybe?
Speaker 1 (18:54):
I mean, that's kind of a week in and week
out popularity content. But if anybody's paying attention to the
guy up north, yeah, Mike Pennix, Yeah, he's doing things
that no one's doing. And that ball is in the air.
You know, that ball is flying in the air down
the field and he's not running around creating and creating
(19:16):
and creating like Superman and forcing things. His foot hits
the ground on the five step drop or the seventh
step of the three step, and that ball is out.
And not only is it out.
Speaker 2 (19:26):
It's down the field, out, way down the field.
Speaker 1 (19:30):
And I know McMillen's hurt, but he's still got polt going.
The tight end is going. I Knowdonsay is going. To me,
he's the Heisman favorite right now, and after he beat
bo Nicks. It's not really that close. But I mean
we're still I mean we're not even in Halloween yet.
And no, I mean remember the guy Hooker from Tennessee
and how he had it all locked up and then
(19:52):
he had one little glitch and then it kind of
lost it that he hurt his knee and there was
never heard of him again. So that kind of thing
changes quickly. But to me, right now, it's Mike Pennix
and Mike Pennix only.
Speaker 4 (20:05):
What is the what's the future for SC?
Speaker 1 (20:08):
I mean, obviously there's this season all that, but but
Caleb eventually moves on, and I think the one thing
that kind of got exposed regardless of how SE fans
want to shape what the game looked like defensively, it
just it feels like they've got to have a game
changing type quarterback to even have a shot, and that
this isn't just an SC thing. This like goes back
(20:30):
to Lincoln Riley at Oklahoma. Yeah, it's really kind of
like a billboard not a college football program. You know,
it's it feels weird, and you kind of wonder, after
looking at the whole thing, well what are they without
Caleb Williams And you think of Baker.
Speaker 4 (20:48):
Mayfield and you think of.
Speaker 2 (20:51):
I mean, who else did they have Baker?
Speaker 1 (20:55):
They had caller, Murray Kyler, Jalen Hurts, who's a hurt Yeah,
I mean they had a lot of success with all
those guys. Those even felt like more complete football teams.
I mean this, I mean, have they really developed anybody else?
Have they developed their run game? Have they developed really
any receivers?
Speaker 4 (21:14):
Don't.
Speaker 1 (21:15):
I don't know what the answer is. I don't know
what the future is. But my father said something interesting
after the Notre Dame game. He said, it's better to
have a super team than a superman. And perhaps that's
the case, but you look at Notre Dame and it's
like they just got run off the field by Louisville.
Speaker 2 (21:33):
Hey, I run off your field.
Speaker 1 (21:35):
Does your dad have a an accent? No? But when
I talk like him, I use a different voice.
Speaker 4 (21:45):
What are you typically? How do you do heavy Greek?
Speaker 2 (21:48):
Did you see what they did to Caleb Williams Petros.
Speaker 1 (21:52):
They did not come up the field against him to
create vertil lanes.
Speaker 4 (21:57):
They That sounds like Norm Shadow.
Speaker 1 (22:00):
No, Norm Chow has a smoother way of delivery because
he did not smoke cigarettes like John Buppedeger.
Speaker 4 (22:08):
What Norm Chow say about that game this past week?
Speaker 1 (22:11):
Run the ball, young man? By the way, is pop
star mad liner than Brady Quinn? Pick talk looking like
a couple of douchebags?
Speaker 2 (22:24):
Is your dad still coming on every Friday? No? Once
a month?
Speaker 1 (22:28):
Okay, Yeah, he's got an agenda during the During the
high school football season, he likes to go to the
high school games and my high school plays in the
afternoon because it's such an affluent area they don't allow lights, so.
Speaker 2 (22:42):
Uh they play at three o'clock.
Speaker 1 (22:44):
So sometimes that that stifles his ability to come on
unless we tape it, which we never do.
Speaker 2 (22:52):
No, of course, not no, never tape anything.
Speaker 4 (22:55):
No.
Speaker 2 (22:55):
I've talked to black Wore never come on.
Speaker 4 (22:58):
Are you calling this weekend?
Speaker 1 (23:00):
I have one game this weekend, and you probably wouldn't
be interested in it, though I am deeply because it's
my job. Texas Tech, who just lost one to Hell
I did the game Kansas State, and then b YU,
who just got blown out by TCU after having such
a good start. So we'll have BYU versus Texas Tech
(23:22):
in Provo, and then next week I'll be back to
the Mountain West with the upstart UNLV rebels good this
year under Barry Odom, not to be confused with the
mid car jobber WWF wrestler from my day.
Speaker 2 (23:39):
Barry Oh, Barry.
Speaker 4 (23:41):
Oh, how about that? Though they're five and one man.
Speaker 1 (23:46):
Yeah, Barry only going to president this week and Fresno's
pretty good, so that'll be fun. We'll see to get
through the CSU this week first, right, right, So.
Speaker 2 (23:53):
I just I gave you the next two weeks.
Speaker 3 (23:55):
Hey Petchers, I wanted to get your thoughts on this.
Mike Florio football, Oh the Undertaker, Yeah he is, he is.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
That guy really looks like death.
Speaker 3 (24:05):
He Mike Slrio apparently has never seen any crowd shots
of Sofi Stadium or any other local sporting events in
La as He's The headline of an article today is
brawls at Sofi Stadium our latest example of NFL teams
not doing enough to protect paying customers, because apparently there
were fights for the first time at a at a
(24:27):
Chargers Cowboys game or an LA Cowboys game on Monday night.
Speaker 2 (24:31):
Can you believe it? I got to do.
Speaker 1 (24:33):
I think Daniel Jeremiah got COVID or something, and I
ended up doing a Charger preseason game.
Speaker 2 (24:39):
Remember the one where the it.
Speaker 1 (24:41):
Was Chargers rams, Yes, where the fat lady threw the
beer like a grenade and it started like a huge
bra Remember that, like the full thirty ounce beer like
she tossed it like a grenade and then gave a
face like that Iowa State fan did after he made
Captain Matt Campbell all man like roll. You know, listen,
I'm from Los Angeles and I remember the Raiders at
(25:03):
the LA Coliseum. I mean, you want to get in
a fistfight, you know, I mean, and that was the eighties,
and long before that the NFL and NFL football games.
And I don't think this is just a LA thing,
Correct me if I'm wrong. There's a lot of fistfights
at every NFL game. The NFL fans are, to me,
(25:24):
are a lot at different from college football fans.
Speaker 2 (25:27):
In many ways.
Speaker 1 (25:27):
It's kind of a WWF vibe or WWE or whatever.
I mean, my God's sakes, in Buffalo, they throw each
other on the tables and you know, and exactly like
the WWE. Florio lives in West Virginia, right, yeah, so
(25:48):
you know, I'm sure he doesn't see much other than
people making math in a Hauller or.
Speaker 4 (25:52):
Something like that.
Speaker 1 (25:53):
But there is remember that show on MTV Buck Wilde
of the kids from West Virginia and like a year
later they were all in jail, right, one of them
died off roading.
Speaker 2 (26:05):
They're just terrible.
Speaker 1 (26:07):
I think that Florio probably has never been to a
sporting event in Los Angeles.
Speaker 2 (26:13):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
Pro football in LA has always had a bunch of fights,
and I think that's the case everywhere else. I know
it's the case in San Francisco. I mean, the Niner
fans are worse than anything, and it just goes on
and on from there. Yeah, am I wrong? But does
anybody disagree? I would say this I tend to see.
I mean, if you ever walked through an NFL like that,
(26:37):
the parking lot heading into the game, the tailgates, it's
a different vibe. Like college football, it's tail getting, it's friendly,
it's nice. In the NFL, So if you're wearing the
opposing team, you get I mean, you get assaulted. I mean,
it is an entirely different deal. And I'm not sure
when it turned that way. I mean, it's been to
the point where I wouldn't take my kids. They're at
(26:59):
least not like I would have to be very particular
about how I.
Speaker 4 (27:01):
End up going. No, and the environment.
Speaker 1 (27:04):
I mean, I remember my dad being like, we are
not going to see the Raiders. We would go through USC,
you know. I mean, it's the same thing. I mean,
and it was very very there was the exact same vibe.
I don't know if it's turned that way. Maybe it
has in the rest of the country, But why anybody
would actually go to an NFL game listen to how
(27:25):
loud they play the music and just deafening rock concert
like editing with the in stadium production is insufferable. You're
always on a TV timeout. They always do some stupid
marketing thing to ruin the game. I mean, I I
(27:46):
don't know why anybody would pay money to do that.
Speaker 3 (27:48):
Well, they'd pay money to see you at the old
p on Twitter, Petros Papaday games.
Speaker 2 (27:53):
Most of our shows are free. I understand the transition.
Speaker 3 (27:57):
He goes of the Petros and Money show, which you
can hear on the blowtorch Ai seventy l a sports
Fox college football analyst, pe, we appreciate it. Tell the
lizard we said, Hi, we'll do it again next week.
Speaker 4 (28:08):
Yeah, stop pooping on it.
Speaker 2 (28:09):
Yeah, man, you guys are really on the clock. Huh
how bad it?
Speaker 3 (28:13):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (28:13):
Does it feel? How does it feel to be like good?
You might as well just be mechanical, Uh, mechanical? Ai,
guys that I got the rule I got brow being
last last week for for buy who.
Speaker 4 (28:26):
I can't say. Yeah, it was not well received. That'll
be ten dollars.
Speaker 1 (28:31):
Yeah, I'm just saying back for the clock.
Speaker 2 (28:35):
Also stifles people's creativity. Remember that now, Yeah, I know.
Speaker 3 (28:38):
It's a great point by petros Well. We will do
it again next week. There he is the old the
old p on Twitter. You can find him. You've got
any issues with what he had to say, find him there.
Speaker 4 (28:49):
What did I say?
Speaker 2 (28:50):
Nothing wrong? You were great. I don't have a problem
with it.
Speaker 1 (28:55):
But I mean, everybody that goes to an NFL game
and twenty twenty three is going to run right into
a giant fit.
Speaker 2 (29:00):
Yeah, we've established that. It's like a jackass ye punch
in the face.
Speaker 1 (29:06):
I mean, if they're going to have this many fights
at SOFI, they should fix the floor.
Speaker 2 (29:10):
It's kind of slim. Great. Uh.
Speaker 3 (29:13):

Speaker 7 (31:22):
Let's go to the news tesk God, No, here's Brady Quick.
Speaker 1 (31:27):
Yeah all right, I'm following up on a story that
Lee touched on earlier because I do think it needs
a little more context to it. So Britney Spears has
claiming that Justin Timberlake cheated on her with another celebrity
and a memoir. Now it kind of became famous that
actually Brittany cheated on Justin. If you'll recall there was
(31:47):
a song that Justin wrote, Sam if you could please
hit it now, there's probably a lot of young listeners
out there that don't recall this video.
Speaker 2 (31:59):
Good song back in the day.
Speaker 1 (32:00):
This is a dope song, but it's even better when
you look at the music video. So for this music video,
Justin Timberlake found a Britney Spears lookalike and it's obviously
him walking through this house essentially where he's kind of caught.
Speaker 4 (32:16):
Her and what she was doing that was all wrong.
Speaker 1 (32:18):
So it's a little odd now that Britney Spears is
kind of coming back trying to make disclaim in of memoirs.
This feels a little late, like Justin Timberlake already capitalized
on this, at least in my opinion.
Speaker 2 (32:28):
Great point. I agree.
Speaker 3 (32:30):
It'd be like if you know, if Tiger Woods came
out and said, why was cheated on too?
Speaker 2 (32:34):
It's like, sorry, buddy, guess well.
Speaker 6 (32:35):
It was like she has more pressing issues to be
focused in on right through here.
Speaker 4 (32:39):
That is a great point. Well, next up, I got
to bring you some some.
Speaker 1 (32:44):
Of the b Q news brought to you by the
Great State of Florida. Yeah, how about this one. Uh,
let's just call it weld title the story that crappy neighbor.
Speaker 4 (32:52):
A Florida woman was busted on Sunday after.
Speaker 1 (32:55):
She smashed dog poop in the face of her seventy
six That your old neighbor, that's right, No, the young
woman who's below the edge of thirty mind you. I
was walking her dog past a mobile home when a
gentleman happened to confront her about walking her dog, pick
up the poop, et cetera. This basically led to a
(33:17):
fight where she took an unsecured bag of dog feces
and rubbed it in the man's face.
Speaker 3 (33:24):
Okay, well, you know to her defense, you know, I
mean she she was fighting a man and needed to
need an equalizer. And if it's going to come by
way of dog crap, then it's gonna come by way
of dog crap. I mean, now, would you guys rather
be spit on or have somebody smear a dog poop
and you spit.
Speaker 4 (33:43):
Off like I don't want any poop anywhere near me?
Speaker 1 (33:46):
I agree, By the way, like we have a dog,
I always pick up the dog poop. Okay, it smells awful?
Is it smells worse than any of my kids? Poop
like anything.
Speaker 4 (33:58):
It smells off. Left no idea?
Speaker 2 (34:00):
Why yeah?
Speaker 3 (34:01):
I mean, you know some of the stuff they give
dogs and put in their food just as not.
Speaker 1 (34:05):
We never like prescription really good food too, So that's
that's surprising.
Speaker 4 (34:10):
What about this one?
Speaker 1 (34:11):
Would you guys ever try to throw the cops off
your trail? Well, this Florida man attempted to by placing
a sign outside his house that read Johnny Yates does
not live here.
Speaker 4 (34:24):
It did not work.
Speaker 1 (34:26):
Mister Yates was indeed arrested for aggravated battery, false imprisonment,
and tampering charges that led to his arrest in a
Lakeland home.
Speaker 3 (34:38):
You know what, wouldn't you love to sit down with
this guy and go so seriously, where'd you come up
with the idea?
Speaker 2 (34:46):
That was his?
Speaker 3 (34:47):
The move for you to throw them off your trail,
just to put a big sign saying I'm definitely not
here despite what you heard.
Speaker 4 (34:57):
Oh man, LaVall, you got anyone who would do something?
Speaker 2 (35:00):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (35:03):
I feel like one of my kids would do That's
that's like like one of my maybe my seven year
old would do that.
Speaker 4 (35:09):
You know, Jonas doesn't live here.
Speaker 2 (35:12):
Oh man, that's unbelievable.
Speaker 4 (35:15):
Then dad on the door, Dad does not live here.
Speaker 1 (35:17):
Yeah, all right, one more piece of a Florida news
for you. So this is actually kind of sad. It's unfortunate.
A fisherman was caught in surveillance he was beating a
shark to death with a hammer. It was actually an
endangered species. It's a I believe, a type of lemon shark. However,
(35:39):
the punishment for this particular crime, it's kind of sad.
He just has to take fishing classes. That's it.
Speaker 4 (35:47):
Well, I mean fishing classes.
Speaker 3 (35:49):
Okay, what kind of hammer? Are we talking about? Your
regular hardware store hammer? Yeah, I mean that that is
an accomplishment, Like if you can beat a shark to
death with a hammer, you got an ace hardware like that.
Speaker 1 (36:02):
Beat it to death in the water though, well, he
drug it out from the water after it was nabbed,
and then he he was fine. By the way, I
should I should admit that it's a twelve month probationary
sentence along with a three hundred and thirty six dollars fine,
and he has to make a two hundred and fifty
dollars donation along with taking the on site shark fishing
(36:24):
course with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation.
Speaker 3 (36:28):
That was he just like fishing for shark or to
this thing, take it, take a nip of his you know,
at his heels, or a bit a portion of his
shoe off, and all he had on him was a hammer,
and he just wanted contact.
Speaker 6 (36:38):
Would matter Hare for sure that the shark was disrespectful.
It's got to get the.
Speaker 2 (36:44):
Hammer, agreed.
Speaker 4 (36:45):
Yeah, stop the hammering. No, it doesn't appear as if
this was in self defense.
Speaker 3 (36:51):
He got do you go opposite side of the hammer
and go straight for the blowhole or no.
Speaker 1 (36:55):
Jeez, a whole bunch of blow I don't hammer it
comes after you.
Speaker 4 (37:00):
I really do
