Speaker 1 (00:00):
Yeah, what you know about a bar?
Speaker 2 (00:03):
I like to roll down in the.
Speaker 1 (00:08):
Damn It is two pros and a cup of Joe.
Here on Fox Sports Radio Live from the Graduate in Columbus, Ohio.
From the Homage Bar here in Columbus, Columbus. Make some
noise here, Let's make some noise. Let's start waking some
people up here. We are in town for the big
matchup in college football.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
If they do.
Speaker 3 (00:31):
Oh wow, did they really did it?
Speaker 2 (00:35):
Literally? So last night come back.
Speaker 4 (00:40):
Last yeah, last night. We we helped out with the
Buckeye Cruise.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
There's a big charity.
Speaker 5 (00:47):
A lot of the donations go to the James Cancer
Hospital here for at Ohio State. Awesome event. Uh that
Urban and Shelley Meyer put on. But we had mark
Ingram get up and Mark literally is like, hey man,
it's roll tied forever. We got eighteen national championships. Don't
get this twist. I love the buck Eys, but like,
(01:07):
Alabama dominates all stuff. And everyone's got to sit there
looking at him listening and goes, ohh, Iowa.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
Can said anything you say, goes i Owe.
Speaker 1 (01:17):
Right after the easiest poppy.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
Literally, he just flexed on everyone in the building.
Speaker 5 (01:20):
Was an Ohio State fan about Bama and then like,
oh h though, iow, all right, all right.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
I mean good, it is good. One of the cool
things about going to Graduate hotels is that because it's
in college towns, and you know, I was talking to
Christine last night about it and talking about all the
other locations that are coming up that are opening soon.
There Nothing beats the as you're getting closer to a
game being in a college town, because there is a buzz,
(01:47):
there's an energy, Like there was a lot of Penn
State fans that were around that were here for the
game last night, walking around town and just to feel
the vibe and the crowd energy. And there's gonna be
one hundred three thousand people in that stadium him tomorrow to.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
Be rocking, rocking, come on, I mean your stand for us.
That'll be fun.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
Damn hey bang bang bang.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
So that's fir at the top of the hour, hard
right hand.
Speaker 1 (02:14):
But yeah, I mean, listen, what you gotta be Look,
there's things going on.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
What happens between two and four Eastern on Saturdays.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
Oh, the Jonas Knock Show could be come on. Yeah,
you know what, you get to stick around for the
main event. I mean This is a great warm up
for the for the main event. But listen, you know,
it's cool to be on the undercard with you guys.
But yeah, I mean there's there's bigger fights coming up.
Speaker 5 (02:34):
Yeah, I think everyone's gonna be tuning in the second
half of a House State Penn State.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
Unfortunately.
Speaker 1 (02:37):
Well, I am hearing that some people will have the
TV on mute but still be listening to the show.
That's what That's what I would. But again, I'm just
throwing out friendly advice here.
Speaker 5 (02:46):
We'll be to call in from the field like live,
so you can just hear that. We can try to
play the game.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
You say that every week and you never call in ever.
It's really insulting.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
It's interesting.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
Why don't you call in bar Uh?
Speaker 2 (02:59):
I don't know. I never never really thought he's going
to be busy.
Speaker 5 (03:03):
He'll be down in the field trying to steal some
signals from the opponent.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
What a great segue is it going to? Yeah, because
it was a great.
Speaker 1 (03:15):
This Michigan sign stealing scandal.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
Okay, all right, he teed it up.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
Feels a little flimsy.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
It feels flimsy.
Speaker 5 (03:22):
I want to ask you, because you've coached and and
I look at it like, at least what I'm saying,
what the allegations are. They're sending out scouts two games
who are then recording or or getting an idea of
the signals from those games. Every team ever has done this.
(03:43):
I'll be honest with you. I used to do this
with my uncle when I was young as a little kid.
For one of my uncle's coaches, we used to go
scout out the opponent and we take their signals there.
I'd have a little notepad. I'll be ten years old
as stands writing all this down.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
Wow. So Brady Quinn, this has been going on forever.
Speaker 3 (04:05):
I mean, isn't that supposed to be a part of
your scouting report. Any any information that you're able to.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
You are forgiven. I'm just trying to make things right here.
Speaker 3 (04:14):
I mean, listen, that's why you have to be creative
in the things that you're doing. Like they have like
three or four dudes going I don't know, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (04:25):
There was a Sam Hartman video making gestures.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
So we did signals. And this is funny. At the
high school level.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
When I when we did our signals, I had our
backup quarterback and and our assistant because I was the
head of see this assistant, O do do the signals?
And only one signal was the real call. Everything else
was a dummy. It was a dummy like these two dudes,
Like these two dudes are doing you know, hold up,
(04:58):
it's a dummy. It's a dummy. So you know they
want but you know you know which one to look
at that game. Now here's where it comes into play
in terms of where you say, okay, if that's where
they're getting an unfair competitive advantage is is if you're
able to scout enough games, then now you're able to
create the pattern of the correlation of what they're doing
(05:21):
across the board. If you have if that's solely what
you're focused in on, and you connect it to the play,
then if you look at it enough, you can start
to connect what's what I mean, it's it's you have
to unscramble the code. It's still a code that you
have to unscramble. But you can if you get enough
film of them putting up their signs. Because the most
guys they put up the putting up the signs. You know,
(05:43):
they have different colored shirts on stuff like that.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
They do.
Speaker 3 (05:46):
They do the signs and so if you're able to
find Okay, every single time this color goes up, they
run a you know, they run all goes or every
time this goes up, it's a run. So they might
not even get it broken down, which I would assume
they do, but they might not even get it broken
down to what the exact play is. But if you
(06:06):
can get a if you can get a lead on
if they're running or if they're passing, that does give
you a competitive edge in the game for sure.
Speaker 5 (06:14):
But I mean to me, like personnel tells you that
more personnel does. I'll be honest with you. We got
a lot of Ohio State fans in if Trayvon Henderson plays,
when he's in, it's more outside zone running. When my
whims is in, when he's in, it's more in between
the tackles. Yeah, I mean, there's you know what type
of run it's going to be based on the interesting
thing about signals and like you gotta go in the
(06:34):
baseball world, usually how you disguise, you have an indicator.
So I'm gonna do a bunch of stuff and everyone's
gonna do a bunch of stuff. Doesn't matter until I
hit my nose, my arm, whatever. Then whatever I do
after that as what's live. And that's usually how they
are able to hide signals because then you can be
watching the guy who's doing it and you're like, oh,
he's doing this, or he did this that time.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
You don't know.
Speaker 5 (06:56):
Because you switch up every quarter, which which what the
indicator is. So you don't pay attention to anything when
you're watching the signal until he hits the indicator. Whatever
he does after that, I know that's now the signal.
So I mean, look at the college level and even
at the NFL level, they've been stealing signs forever.
Speaker 1 (07:11):
Like anytime something like this comes up and it's known
quietly that everybody does it, I just go, Okay, why
did this come up?
Speaker 2 (07:19):
I mean is after Michigan.
Speaker 3 (07:21):
Because it continues, they're going to continue to HA made
somebody so upset. He has irritated somebody so bad that
they're continuing. I'm trying to get out.
Speaker 5 (07:32):
I'll say this, Hardball is the most difficult coach in
the Big ten to deal with, hands down, as an
analyst as as a part of doing any sort of game.
He's difficult to talk to. When you get him, He's
difficult to talk to, like the stuff he says. And
I think he does that with the investigation. I think
the handles that with the NCAA.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
He did that with the university. I mean he's ticked
off the university. And that's why he had this.
Speaker 5 (07:58):
I mean it was a self imposed suspension he had
to serve because he's take so many people off there
the way he jerked them around to in the off
season thinking he had the Minnesota job. Then coming back
now they're having all this success and so and what
was the Here's what I think the conspiracy is. All right,
and I don't know Sam, if you can set this up,
but think about this. Remember remember after COVID and after
(08:20):
they struggled versus Ohio State.
Speaker 2 (08:22):
Now they didn't plan that twenty twenty years. He didn't
wait for it. Yeah, wait, there is they didn't plan.
Speaker 5 (08:29):
In the twenty twenty year right, Ohio stated dominate Michigan
forever Urban went seven and oher you know, and and
what's what I think?
Speaker 2 (08:37):
It was a four four and oh five and o
versus hardball.
Speaker 5 (08:40):
The reality is once he started ripping off those wins
because he took a pay cut, remember it, And now
what you said about what do you see start to resurface? Oh,
he was looking for accession. He's looking for he wants
to get paid by I think this is almost maybe
like a counter move where they're looking to find a
way of not paying him really what they should be
(09:01):
paying him, because.
Speaker 4 (09:02):
He's ticked off the athletic department so much.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
They're in Michigan, see, and it makes sense because the
only way somebody would find out that people are there
is if you have evidence. And the only way you
get that evidence is that somebody who was taking pictures
or filming or doing whatever they were doing is showing
it to somebody involved.
Speaker 5 (09:20):
Because think about that, dude, you could dress like you
and go in and watch anything like what's it doing?
Speaker 1 (09:24):
Thirty eight thousand dollars? Jack up by the way, just
want to be relatable. That's you actually gets.
Speaker 2 (09:30):
Twilight. That's that, that's that Twilight special. But in all sense,
it's like you don't. I mean, it's so hard to tell.
Speaker 3 (09:36):
They didn't say they almost missed their flight because they
took a long time checking his coffin and I was.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
I was hanging upside down with.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
The bag check, I said, mister Knox, Uh your coffin.
It exceeds the white limit of what what you're allowed
to tell you got. You're gonna have to put this
an oversized bag.
Speaker 1 (09:55):
Be sure you can't hang upside down on the plane.
Speaker 6 (09:57):
A yeah.
Speaker 1 (09:59):
I I just I mean, I look at this and
I go, all right, clearly somebody wants about and to
your point, he's pissed off a lot of people. I
just wish, you know, Michigan would get a fair shake
at one point or another. Just wish Michigan could kid
a fair shake here, you know, because I mean, I
do think it's noteworthy here. And I'm not trying to
piss Ohio State fans off that are in the building
here at the Graduate at Homage Bar, but I do
(10:19):
think it's noteworthy that part of this report from Yahoo
Sports says that they were not only sending people out
to off campus games for future opponents this year, but
also possible opponents in the College Football Playoff, which would
mean they're expecting to beat Ohio State again. They're expecting
to beat Ohio State again. I just want to put
that out there, because you're not getting to the College
(10:41):
Football Playoff unless you beat Ohio State, correct, So you know,
he's kind of calling a shot, and I'm a little
surprised that people.
Speaker 7 (10:48):
Here would be accepting to that. They would just wear
that and let Jim Harbaugh walk all over the line.
If this is another program, is this even a story? No, hey,
if this is Hawaii, Timmy Chang could be getting a raise.
I'm just saying they'll take whatever they can get any
I mean, Shane Biemer broke his foot kicking something after
(11:08):
the Florida game. All right, there's a lot of places
that have it worse, you know, so good for Jim
Barbara and Michigan, you know, trying to figure this whole
thing out. Do you think he's coaching at Michigan next year?
Speaker 2 (11:19):
That's a hard one, man, that that's a good question.
Speaker 5 (11:23):
I mean, I'm trying to think out the top of
my head, Like, if you're the Chargers and this thing
goes sideways, that seems to be the one. It's old
stobbing grounds for him. He originally started coaching in San Diego.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
Well, I mean that seems like that could be a winner.
Herbert Bears, the Bears could be a winner.
Speaker 5 (11:41):
You know, he was a Bear, listens, But the Bears
might be in a position where they're drafting high.
Speaker 2 (11:46):
Now and they're going to take your boy Lincoln to
take Cale now.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
I do wonder though, with because Kevin Warren is in
the building in Chicago, now, what was his relationship like
with Harbaugh? Do they have any sort of a connection
with his big ten. I don't think it was anything bad.
I mean, that wasn't my impression from being around them.
They seem to be cordial and Kevin was awesome, a.
Speaker 2 (12:05):
Good dude, Kevin along whatever one.
Speaker 1 (12:08):
And plus, you know, Harbo's got a red ass. The
fact that Minnesota, the fact that the Vikings didn't hire him.
If he has an opportunity to play them twice a
year as Bears head coach, he absolutely would get.
Speaker 5 (12:20):
He comes off as not ever having a red ass, though,
because he's so awkward, like the way he talks.
Speaker 2 (12:26):
And is just how he is as a person.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
He drinks milk with his states.
Speaker 5 (12:29):
I know, it's just every like he's like trying. It's like, yeah,
that's like his way of doing it, but it just
doesn't come off that way.
Speaker 1 (12:35):
Yeah, it's a little odd.
Speaker 2 (12:37):
So there's uh, there's my Reshman year.
Speaker 1 (12:39):
We'll see what we're looking at here. Nineteen ninety se
Civil Champions still yeah, hell yeah.
Speaker 3 (12:46):
Yeah, but that was the ninety seven like leading into
the ninety seven of the Wolverines, which is ironic because didn't.
Speaker 2 (12:54):
Didn't the Wolverines win the title? They won it? Yeah? Yeah?
Or was that year they won? They won it all
that year? Right, That's what always messes with me.
Speaker 5 (13:03):
Next year, Well, it's hard to tell with the ball
games because when they hit on that January first or
second ninety seven, like it's at the ninety seven year.
Speaker 3 (13:11):
But the year before Michigan won it all they went
to because my freshman year was the year that Charles
Woodson won the Heisman and and they won the Rose Bowl,
so that would have been the year.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
Correct, Yeah yeah, Seawan knows man historian.
Speaker 5 (13:29):
Do you think they'll be a little a little scrapping,
little fighting like before the game starts.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
Yeah, I'm gonna tell you.
Speaker 3 (13:35):
I told you guys how when I do my interviews
with him, I was like, he asked, like, what do
you think the personality of our team is? I was like,
y'all a bunch of dirt bag bullies, And I was
like I love it because that's like, that's what we're
supposed to be. Yeah, you know, there's there's the idea
that Ohio State they're they're pretty. They're they're they're they're
(13:56):
kind of you know, they get manicures and pedicures and
stuff like that.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
I mean, they are. We're looking at the crowd right now.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
Everybody's pretty.
Speaker 3 (14:04):
He's got bands on, you know, with the you know
what I mean, Like he's got a nice little little
you know, vest on, Like you know, everybody matches very sophisticated,
very very you know, civilized.
Speaker 2 (14:16):
I dig it, man.
Speaker 3 (14:17):
I just think we're coming in here with like on
Neanderthal time, you know what I mean. And there could
be there could be some you know, some back and forth,
but I think we're kind of like that. We're kind
of like that lion walking down you know, in the
wilderness and it's like, oh, he's not that bad, and
they're just walking in there and and in the warm
ups not that bad. Then you got close to him
(14:39):
and you try to touch him and he ripped your
head off. It's like Roy, I feel exactly. I feel
like Ohio State will be and then the lion is yes, yes,
I mean.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
It was probably like white albind whatever it was.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
That guy didn't have a neck afterwards.
Speaker 2 (14:59):
I know that. Yeah, he took a little bit. He
took a little bit of meat out of me.
Speaker 3 (15:02):
You know.
Speaker 1 (15:03):
Imagine like the guy's doing yellow shots at the bar
and it's coming out of his That was such a
fall out of his tour so well. I mean, look,
because you know he's like tough eating certain things. You know,
it's hard.
Speaker 2 (15:14):
You know, it's a normal shot.
Speaker 1 (15:16):
No, by the way, you do a shot last night,
I don't think you did.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
Oh I lost that one. I had a side. Actually,
it's generally Michigan that wants.
Speaker 5 (15:28):
To fight with guys or or have like James is
like too nice of them, Like, I'm trying to raise
good young men here.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
I'm not going to let them fight before the pre game.
I'll say.
Speaker 3 (15:39):
The only reason why I don't think that they will
fight is because they I mean, but they do come
out on the same end of the They.
Speaker 2 (15:47):
Kind of got a cross, which is weird. They have
to kind of cross to get.
Speaker 3 (15:51):
To their their their but they could well because our
the visitor sideline is you're right, you're right, yeah, yeah,
and then Ohio State's locker room is Caddy Corner, so
they gotta go across the field to get to their
locker room.
Speaker 2 (16:07):
They really didn't think about that when the stadium, or
maybe they.
Speaker 1 (16:10):
Did, or maybe are you saying they're promoting fighting before.
Speaker 3 (16:13):
I'm not saying they're promoting fighting, But when you're winning
at a rapid clip the way that Ohio State wins,
it's almost like they are. They can be considered to
be an intimidating group. Like all joking aside, they have
the reputation, they have the DNA of a team, and
they're a blue blood program. So I mean if I'm
walking across the field and I see them dudes jogging
(16:37):
and trotting across, I mean, that could be considered to be.
Speaker 2 (16:40):
Some mental warfare.
Speaker 8 (16:41):
You know.
Speaker 1 (16:42):
Well, listen, it's gonna go down and maybe this will
be the end of said what's the wagon doing? All right?
So it is two pros and a cup of Joe
here on Fox Sports Radio, Savar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas
Knox with you here, come it up. I mean, everybody's

a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and

Sports Radio Live from Homage Bar in Columbus, Ohio, hanging
out here with Ohio State fans. We got Penn State
in the house, fired up for the big game coming
up tomorrow here, and we are going to hear a
little bit more about that game coming up here in

save up to thirty percent with the code two pros
at Graduatehotels dot com. That's two pro at Graduatehotels dot Com.
We also have our picks against the spread coming up
in about twenty minutes from now, and on the what
(18:07):
I've done lately, I make sure I'd stick around for that,
that's for sure, because I have been bulldozing my picks,
crushing it. Well, you don't give away the good yet,
Let's make them wait for it.
Speaker 2 (18:18):
Are you in last still?
Speaker 1 (18:20):
Don't worry about that. Let's just make them wait for it.
Speaker 7 (18:22):
Lee.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
About twenty minutes from now, you'll hear whether or not
I'm still in last place. But there is something that
is really taken this country by storm. All right, it's
taken the sports talk radio world by storm. What is
because I mean I get like, we were walking around
last night and I somebody touched me on the shoulder.
I turn around and go, hey, what's going on?
Speaker 2 (18:37):
What is it?
Speaker 1 (18:38):
And they're like, you guys gonna do quinns Wins tomorrow?
I was like yes, okay. They're like, okay, would you
just can't?
Speaker 2 (18:47):
I don't even have imaging for this yet. Yes we do, Yeah,
I think we do. Yes, we do.
Speaker 1 (18:52):
Yeah, Well, because we don't have it, this is what
we were planning on doing.
Speaker 2 (18:56):
Well we had it.
Speaker 1 (18:57):
Every time we go to request imaging, people won't stop
talking about it. Like our imaging department veto Ricky like
they they're just like, oh, you're talking about quins Wins man,
that thing he did like he had this one pick,
like he did this, he had this. You know, we
listened to him last week he went four for four.
Here he got you know, three and one this week.
I mean, we can't even get it out of our
(19:19):
mouths without everyone being so fired up for it. So
without any further introduction, thank right, without any further red
carpet being.
Speaker 2 (19:28):
Rolled out, you did the imaging we.
Speaker 1 (19:31):
Bring to you. There we go, another edition of Quinn's wins.
Make some noise with a lot of Semports Radio.
Speaker 5 (19:40):
We're gonna off go the four matchups between top twenty
five teams.
Speaker 4 (19:46):
It's the third week in October.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
You know what that means.
Speaker 5 (19:50):
Alabama Tennessee. Only time you'll ever see a field goal
post get thrown in a river. Yeah, that was this
game last year. Tennessee put them on the map. If
you'll recall Hendon Hooker to Jalen Hyatt, the big plays,
the big offense for Tennessee upsetting the Crimson Tide. This
is not the same Tennessee team this year same not
the same team. They led the country in thirty plus
(20:12):
yard passes a year ago. They're ninety third this year.
It's been a little bit more of a struggle with
Joe Miller that quarterback. But the defense for Tennessee has
been much better, averaging one hundred less yards per game,
almost two touchdowns less per game, so much improved, and
taking down an Alabama offense that's also much improved last
(20:33):
four weeks with Jalen Milroe in particular, stretching the field downfield.
Member's got nine total touchdowns, only two interceptions, kept putting
about sixty five percent of his passes too, and averaging
a little over two hund and ten yards per game.
So much improved in that respect. Look, this game, to
me is gonna be tight. That's how it's been for
Bamba of late. Even as good as they've been, their
defense keeps them in games. They're the best right now
(20:55):
in the SEC. So I like taking the nine point. Now,
this number wasn't eight and a half, it's got as
high as nine and a half. I like taking the
nine points in Tennessee here. I also like the over
of forty eight in this one. I think that number
is a little bit low, even though it should be
more of a defensive battle between the two. Next up,
Duke headed to Tallahasset to take on Florida State. This
(21:17):
is a big number, fourteen points last time I checked.
And Riley Leonard, the quarterback for Duke, has been battling
an ankle injury, but it's numbers up for fourteen and
a half. Now he's looking like he's gonna be probably
probable to go in this one.
Speaker 2 (21:31):
Now he won't have to do a ton.
Speaker 5 (21:33):
Last week they started true freshman Henry Beelin and he
went four for twelve, passing two touchdowns at a pick
in that statue went so hey man, high productivity for
forking plea.
Speaker 1 (21:46):
That will get you a statue outside Soldier Field.
Speaker 5 (21:48):
Yeah, but Jordan Waters, they're running back there. We'll carry
the load for Duke and then they're more defensively built anyway.
So I actually think they'll match up pretty well with
Florida State.
Speaker 6 (21:58):
I know.
Speaker 5 (21:58):
And they knocked off Clemson to start the year, so
they've got the players in the outside.
Speaker 1 (22:03):
Went easy cover for Notre Dame in that game. Never
a doubt, Never in Taliba in this one.
Speaker 5 (22:08):
Though Johnny Wilson was out last week for Florida State,
big wide receivers should be back to match up with
Keon Coleman. That being said, take Duke and the points.
I think they keep the one within the number. And
again another game. I like the over of forty nine
in this one. Florida State's given up some points in there,
all right. Utah headed to Southern California to take on
(22:29):
Southern Cal. Southern Cal trying to get that stank off
them after getting beat down by Notre Dame last week.
Just an awful performance. Caleb Wims maybe the worst performance
of his career this far. Three picks, they had five
total turnovers. A lot of people have been questioning the
USC defense. They actually were all right last week. Only
give up thirteen points. Now, it's tough with two when
(22:49):
you got short fields they had to deal with. But
they're taken on a Utah team that's not going to
have Cam Rising at quarterback. Looks like he's probably gonna
miss the entire season. Bryce and Barnes has been coming
in taking over. We've seen Nate Johnson two for them.
This is largely a defensive team that's led by the
rushing attack that's had Lincoln Riley's number the past two years. Again,
I like Utah to stay within the number. A lot
(23:11):
of dogs so far in this one, but it's about
six and a half. This will be a lower scoring
game though the overnners set at fifty six.
Speaker 2 (23:19):
I like the under of this one.
Speaker 5 (23:21):
And to cap it all off, the game of the weekend,
the number seven Penn State and in the Lions travel
the Columbus to take on the Ohio State buck guys
at number three. Penn State is getting four and a
half points. This is the number one rushing offense in
the Big Ten. This is the number one defense in
the Big Ten when talking about Penn State, and they
(23:43):
match up extremely well. Des Isaac chop Robinson, my guy,
LeVar Arrington's guy, Abdul Carter, Kaylin King can match up
in the secondary versus Marvin Harrison Junior. This is one
of those matchup games and you look at strength on strength,
both these teams match up really well. Oh what does
that mean?
Speaker 4 (24:01):
It means you go with the dog here in this
case take the points.
Speaker 5 (24:05):
It should be a tight game, one where you're probably
looking at whoever's got the football last kicking a field.
Speaker 2 (24:10):
Goal to win it. When it's all said and done.
Speaker 1 (24:13):
So you're taking Penn State plus the four four and
a half here in Columbus, while we're in Columbus.
Speaker 2 (24:22):
Yeah, it's not saying that Penn States. That's the saying
Penn State's going to win.
Speaker 4 (24:29):
Wow, they're going to win.
Speaker 1 (24:30):
Are you gonna give a score prediction at some point?
Speaker 9 (24:32):
Bar?
Speaker 2 (24:33):
I mean right now would be the time. It would
be the time to do it, right, Yeah, right now
would be.
Speaker 3 (24:36):
It's Friday. I mean, just say they're going to win
straight up though, so you know you would like the
money line then yeah, I like the money line.
Speaker 1 (24:43):
Now, what do you think like a score would be
like a Penn State Because I mean, are we gonna
get a.
Speaker 2 (24:47):
Twenty four twenty one or you got a little higher
scoring than that.
Speaker 3 (24:51):
No, it's going to be in I believe it'll be
in the twenties. I believe it'll be in the twenties.
Ohio State's going to struggle on offense against this defense,
the high pressure defense man. They're going to struggle against
this this defense. And the one thing that you got
to understand is their rotation.
Speaker 2 (25:08):
They're so deep.
Speaker 3 (25:09):
They don't get tired, like you got to deal with
the same speed for four quarters because their rotation is
really deep. And then this is probably to me, the
first year that I can see that Penn State up
front matches up equally, if not better, in the trenches
on both sides of.
Speaker 2 (25:27):
The ball the line for Penn State, it's been phenomenous year.
Speaker 3 (25:31):
I might as well look at the left side of
the line and say you got to do everything you're
going to do to the right side of the offensive
line because Olu is not He hasn't given up a
sack since he's been in school, since he's been a starter,
so that cancels out his blind side.
Speaker 2 (25:46):
This is a big step up game for Drew Aller.
I'm happy for Drew Aller because this.
Speaker 3 (25:50):
He gets to come home and he gets to take,
you know, the crown off of the King of the
Big ten.
Speaker 2 (25:56):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (25:57):
One thing that's interesting is, you know, looking at some
of the stats, and this one became a topic of
conversation with James Franklin las week, was they don't push
the ball down the field, as he's only got five
attempts over twenty five.
Speaker 2 (26:08):
Yards downfield so far this year, like area. But then
you have to ask yourself the question does that play
into well, I wonder if they've been holding it back,
and that's.
Speaker 3 (26:17):
A possibility because we do have day Kwon hardy like
we have. We haven't needed to do it a week
and that's the point. We haven't needed to do it.
And and that battering round. You got two bulls in
the backfield, and and you could say the third back
is almost like he's the switch up back in Trey Totts.
Speaker 2 (26:36):
He's he's like, he's more shifty. He you know, he's got.
Speaker 3 (26:39):
First Minnesota transferred, he's a vet. He's a graduate guy,
speaking of graduate hotel. But but to deal with k
Tron and Nick Singleton is that's that's going to be
the key. Can they Can they contain those guys well?
Speaker 5 (26:55):
And on the flip side, Ohio State has been banged
up and running back Travon Henderson's missed a couple of
games now May and Williams missed Chip train him. They
I believe, are going to be back for this one.
And if there is a weakness in the Penn State defense,
we talked about this, they're a little light in the
interior and that's what you're concerned by. A fewer pen stacks.
Speaker 2 (27:13):
I'm excited to see the matchup on the outside you mentioned,
can I tell you who's going to steal the show? Though?
For Hio State.
Speaker 5 (27:19):
God, because this is the one matchup I'm curious about.
Is man No Kate stole the tight end. I think
I think he's that tough because he does everything. He's
like you talked about, like kind of doing the dirty work.
He's great at the point of attack, run blocking, he's
great off play action, boots things, he finds space to
get open, and he's like, unassumingly a much better athlete.
Speaker 2 (27:40):
People give him credit.
Speaker 3 (27:41):
Notre Dame gave us the blueprint of how to beat
Ohio State, and we have they just.
Speaker 2 (27:47):
We have the person that we're just going to use
eleven at the end. I don't know that. I'll say
it before you get to it.
Speaker 3 (27:53):
It wasn't a punchline. It was not a punchline. Notre
Dame showed us how. It showed people how to beat.
Speaker 1 (27:58):
Them on DraftKings. Kate's over over under forty four and
a half yards receiving.
Speaker 2 (28:04):
What do they got a mecca a book at he's
just returning. Yeah, and he's the other one that that's
another one that's about He.
Speaker 5 (28:12):
Stepped up when Marvin Harrison was taking away because everyone
takes away. Marvin Harrison a Buoka Joanne Fleming Cornell Tate.
Speaker 2 (28:18):
Has not seen a secondary like this all year. Yeah,
no fly zone, no flys on. Well, they call it locked.
Speaker 3 (28:25):
Down you lockdown you Yeah, they call it lockdown. I
mean them boys is good in the secondary for Penn State. Man,
it's one of the strengths of the team.
Speaker 5 (28:33):
So by the way, Lee's hairs looking majestical, that's it.
I know, We've got a lot we throw on majestic
with Eddie. Lee's hair is looking majestic, right.
Speaker 1 (28:42):
Right, It's very flowy.
Speaker 6 (28:45):
Herbal escences. Carol's daughter, I do know curls dies.
Speaker 3 (28:55):
It's just everything like like, I don't know we're talking
about the same thing though, but I know what died.
Speaker 5 (29:00):
Every time we do a show together, like you always
have a hat on, he keeps it back that at
one point he takes it all off.
Speaker 2 (29:05):
The hair starts like a movie. He does like the
hair flip thing, and he puts it back. It moves and.
Speaker 1 (29:13):

time for picks against the spread.
Speaker 1 (31:52):
And as pointed out on our rundown, this segment is
so hot it's not even spelled right. Our p X
against the spread here.
Speaker 2 (32:07):
Bred it was like mix against the spread? Why did
I read it?
Speaker 6 (32:11):
Pics?
Speaker 4 (32:12):
I like it, I like it, appreciated.
Speaker 1 (32:14):
Picks the ex is all you need, bab al Right,
So Lee, how did we do last week?
Speaker 12 (32:20):
Well, last week it was a tight race, Fellas, we
had the Ravens at Titans.
Speaker 6 (32:24):
Everybody took Baltimore correctly. They they did they We'll just
move right past that one, by the way.
Speaker 1 (32:36):
It was a little getting a little dicey there at
the end, Willis, I was really worried about that. I
was watching it. I was on the echo bike, you know,
Rogue Columbus, Ohio.
Speaker 2 (32:51):
We don't have enough time for you to do that.
Speaker 1 (32:52):
I'm just saying I was.
Speaker 2 (32:53):
On the echo bike, all right, Okay.
Speaker 12 (32:57):
Jonas was the only one who correctly picked the jack
Wars versus the Colts, Brady and LaVar.
Speaker 6 (33:02):
You guys took the Lions over the Bucks.
Speaker 2 (33:05):
Cool job, you guys.
Speaker 6 (33:07):
Jonas again was the lone wolf.
Speaker 12 (33:08):
Who took the Jets versus the Eagles down, so fluky
and the Giants covered. That was LeVar was the only one,
of course, showing why he owns this and why it's
called p I X against the spread.
Speaker 6 (33:27):
And but I gotta see you guys. It was, like
I said, it was a tight races.
Speaker 12 (33:30):
The only time this year that we've had a three
way tie, three to two all the way across the boards.
So we remain with LeVar with a huge lead, three
point lead over you, Brady Jonas. You are three points
behind Brady, so.
Speaker 1 (33:43):
You okay, well yeah, but because we did no we
determine this. But listen, we determine this the first six
weeks all exhibition. Real season starts.
Speaker 3 (33:55):
Now right now, so now's what counts week week sevens.
Speaker 2 (34:00):
I have no problem with that because I could care.
Let's go, let's do this, let's win again.
Speaker 6 (34:12):
Lions at Ravens. Ravens three point favorites at home.
Speaker 2 (34:16):
This is a good one to call right here. This
is like this one where you going.
Speaker 1 (34:22):
I got Baltimore. Wow, Detroit's done a lot on the road,
They've had a lot of travel thus far. I think
it's gonna catch up to them. Give me Baltimore minus three.
Speaker 2 (34:31):
Okay, Okay, I'm gonna be on the other side of here.
I love where Detroit's at game plan wise.
Speaker 5 (34:36):
I think they're in a better spot offensively than where
this Ravens offense is with Todd Monkin with seven drops
was a couple of weeks ago. I mean, there's just
there's been drops, there's been injuries. It feels like they're
still trying to kind of find their way. So I'll
take the three points in Detroit.
Speaker 3 (34:49):
That's the same sensible That seems like a sensible pick.
But I still think Lamar is still heading towards that
breakout game.
Speaker 9 (34:57):
This seems like the proper game for us. I'm gonna
take the Ravens on this one. They'll cover all right,
fellas game. Everyone's looking forward to this week. I don't
know who's playing quarterback, but we're all looking forward to it.
Raiders at Bears, Raiders are we looking forward to?
Speaker 2 (35:15):
Fast forward? We're looking fast forward to this guy.
Speaker 1 (35:21):
By the way, I do that too. I always want
to call him Tyler. It's Tyson. Why do I want
to call him Tyler?
Speaker 4 (35:26):
Because it doesn't no one's name Geez doesn't damn.
Speaker 2 (35:32):
Taylor.
Speaker 1 (35:32):
Dad's an arm wrestling champ.
Speaker 2 (35:34):
Yeah, that's true.
Speaker 6 (35:35):
Will Fellas Uh two and a half point favorites.
Speaker 1 (35:39):
On the road at Chicago point take the Raiders, Bear Bears.
Speaker 2 (35:48):
The Bears are going to cover. Can sling it, dude,
he said, like every record I shot one of them games.
The Bears are going to cover.
Speaker 8 (35:58):
Next one up, sim Falcons at Buccaneers.
Speaker 6 (36:02):
NFC South Falcons at Bucks. Bucks are two and a
half point favorites.
Speaker 1 (36:05):
Bounce back Tampa Bay. Lay the points the Bucks, Tampa Bay.
Speaker 5 (36:08):
This is like a Hey Baker didn't work out last
week for Detroit. They're a sluggish on offense. This is
where they get things back in gear. Versus that Falcons deep,
they have a hard time get impression.
Speaker 1 (36:18):
Because the thing with the Buccaneers is they'll win games
against mediocre teams, just not the good ones. They'll beat
Atlanta here and they'll cover cover.
Speaker 2 (36:27):
Atlanta's gonna win. Wow, taking Atlanta's.
Speaker 6 (36:30):
Damn Next one.
Speaker 8 (36:32):
Chargers at Chiefs AFC.
Speaker 6 (36:34):
West Chargers at Chiefs Chiefs five and a half point favorite.
Speaker 2 (36:37):
Point. Chargers lay the point.
Speaker 1 (36:40):
I'm taking the Chargers. They play Kansas City tough, I
mean Brandon Staley bounce back performance for.
Speaker 2 (36:46):
Him on the road. Oh you think so, I think so,
think so.
Speaker 1 (36:49):
You know, Justin Herbert's got that Nintendo power glove going.
I think they're gonna get it done in Arrowhead High though,
plus now half.
Speaker 2 (36:55):
No, I'm taking Casey all right, lay the point.
Speaker 6 (36:59):
Laid the point, guys.
Speaker 12 (37:00):
We always ended with Sunday Night football Dolphins at Eagles Dolphins.
Speaker 4 (37:06):
I'm point I's gonna be a tough match up for
the Dolphins.
Speaker 2 (37:11):
Oh line. And on top of that, you know.
Speaker 1 (37:16):
Sam's pushing it along. Sam just blowing, blowing over league.
Speaker 5 (37:22):
His hair is getting in the way. I'm taking Miami
for to win. By the way, are we holding him
to that? He's picked two money lines. He's not even
taking points.
Speaker 1 (37:31):
I got Philly Yea. My look, Miami, Miamis schedule has
been like they played a lot of bad teams.
Speaker 3 (37:40):
We're gonna find out about this kind of We're gonna
find out about Miami.
Speaker 1 (37:45):
Yeah, I'll take
