Speaker 5 (01:40):
How the hell we feeling here on a Monday morning?
I mean, I should be sad, but I feel pretty good.
I thought there was some good football this weekend. All
is right with the world after what I saw last night.
But all wasn't right after Saturday. That's awesome, Yeah, I
will say that for we'll bounce back.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
But man, oh man, didn't make you wonder why the
hell Philly went away from those jew from those jerseys
and went to this new craft that they're rolling out with.
How sweet are those vintage throwback nineteen eighties nineteen nineties
Eagles jerseys.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Just look at those beauty.

Speaker 5 (02:15):
Reggie White, Ah, the Randall Cuttingham, the Irving Friars, the.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
Quick and Jackson and all those guys. Yeah, they look good.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Look by Sikahemma remember him back in the day? Who's
was it? Calvin Barnett?

Speaker 4 (02:34):
Was it?

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Yeah? Eighty nine?

Speaker 5 (02:36):
I believe the one that caught the bomb from from Randall? Yeah,
I believe, yeah, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
But it was nice seeing those retros back, and it
was nice seeing the Philadelphia Eagles find their groove again
and get it done last night against the Miami Dolphins
on Sunday night for the day game.

Speaker 5 (02:53):
I don't know that the final score was reflective of
how competitive that game was. You know, both defense is
play played their asses off, you know, and and and
for a really long time, and it kind of didn't
break open for for Philly until later on in the game.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
So you know, it's a good game. Yeah, it was
a fun game.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Fun game to watch the Eagles bouncing back obviously from
what was a poor performance last week against the New
York Jets. And I'll say, look a J Brown's stud there.
You know, Dallas Goddard is finding it again with Philly
because he was struggling earlier on You.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
And Q take the Dolphins in this one.

Speaker 5 (03:31):
No, I took Philly. Okay, it was one of my
Knox locks. I took Philly in this game. Yeah I
did too. Yeah, that's what we do. And you and
I are not the same. What do you mean in
this choosy game, we are not the same?

Speaker 1 (03:45):
What do you mean by that?

Speaker 2 (03:47):
New people, new people, new people? And my people like
the same people. But it is it is the case
for the Philadelphia Eagles, although it does seem like not
the same team as last year. It does feel like
Jalen hurts and I don't know, I know Brady had
thrown this out kind of in in you know, pre
show notes that there's the potential that you know, he's

(04:07):
a little bit banged up or something like that. It
does feel like they're just not the same team that
they were last.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Year, like in terms of being competitive or.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
Just just it just doesn't It seems like it's a
little bit more difficult. I don't know, people are figuring
them out. They're not figuring out the fourth and one
brotherly shove. But it does feel like they're just not
quite in sync like they were last year on offense.

Speaker 5 (04:30):
Like it wasn't as easy. It's not as easy to
score for them. I think it's because they've always relied
on their running game and and and listen, Swift is good.
But I just think that they had a great, a
great combination with what they had with Mustard and and
with uh with Sanders, and now they don't. Is it

(04:52):
Mostered Mostard, it's they just don't have that same balanced
attack where they're running really really led the way for
what they're doing. And you know, it's it's it's probably
a little bit more difficult because it does have to
be more on that the arm of of of Jalen Hurts.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
But you know what, you know, Q's hair. So let's
let's let's get cue opinion on that.

Speaker 4 (05:16):
Uh yeah, I'm not I'm not sure most of you.
Are you talking about Dolphins?

Speaker 1 (05:20):
No, no, no.

Speaker 6 (05:22):
Well, Sanders was the leading rusher last year by far.
Then they had Boston Scott and gain Well.

Speaker 4 (05:26):
A little bit.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
Okay, all right, but.

Speaker 4 (05:28):
It's actually your Hurts was the the second leading.

Speaker 6 (05:30):
Rusher last year, and I think that's that's really been
the biggest difference is he's not running as much.

Speaker 4 (05:36):
You know, last year, if you.

Speaker 6 (05:37):
Go back and look like he was, he was running
the ton, he was toting that rock, and it was
like you really had a true I'm not gonna say,
like a one to two combination, but when you looked
at him, you know, at times like he was taken
off and running. I think he averaged like over fifty
yards a game, and he's been more hesitant to do that,
or they've been more hesitant to do that, and I

(05:59):
think it's Look, we've said this about a lot of
other quarterbacks who are a dual threat, where you kind
of take away that element and you're like, well, they're
not there necessarily as a as a pocket passer, and
so why are you handcuffing them from doing.

Speaker 4 (06:14):
Something they're really good at.

Speaker 6 (06:16):
It's like, well, you want to, you know, keep them
safe and they want going to you don't want them
to get hurt. Well, but that's one of the best
things they do though, that's what makes your team special.
I've never really understood it. Like remember with Justin Fields,
we talked about it at about that at the beginning
of the season. I was like, well, you know they
you know, they want to make him know a pocket passer,
like see what he can do. It's like, well, he's
a dynamic runner. He's one of the best in the league.

(06:39):
So that element's been missing a bit more. I mean,
they've had some you know, different injuries that things up
front they've had to deal with. But let's not let's
not forget too. They've had a new offensive coordinator and
they're trying to kind of settle and I think to
his style of calling plays and aggressiveness, and last night
was a good win. There's there's no way around it.
Like this team still rounding into form. It's not the

(07:02):
worst thing in the world, but man, they've got I mean,
when you've got DeVante Smith and aj Brown and their
tight ends and then you got a guy like Julio
Jones who kind of comes off the bench, it's it's
a scary thing to think about what this group looks
like moving forward to try to have to defend them
when they start getting everything clicking on all cylinders.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
Yeah, it was fun to watch last night and then
listen Tyreek Hill, like is he just gonna score or
at least make somebody look foolish and get downfield and
get open. Every single game hit on with the adult
the adult film stash last night.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
Yeah he did.

Speaker 5 (07:40):
He had that grown man. He had that grown man
caterpillar going across his upper lip last night.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
Man, let everybody know. Man's Sundy night football. You gotta
be seen. But Mike McDaniel, Levar's guy, Mike McDaniel did
speak afterwards about.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
Talk like that anymore though. Yeah, I noticed that in
this somebody must have told him about that.

Speaker 5 (08:00):
Man he's way more like, you know, upbeat or more
more energy in his voice.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
Yeah, because he was a little bit you know, he's
optimistic about the loss and just sort of where this
puts their team. But yeah, he does sound a little
bit different, does Mike mcdandah than he did the previous year.

Speaker 7 (08:17):
You have to feel what it's like to play such
a good team.

Speaker 4 (08:21):
On the road.

Speaker 7 (08:22):
Their margin for air is so small, and you know,
it's a it's an important building block along your progression.
If you're going to lose games, you want it to
be against a really good team and you want it
to hurt. And you know there's the the collection of
coaches and players in the locker room right now or

(08:45):
hurting because you know they feel like they left some
plays on the field for sure.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
So that was Mike mcdanda, if you couldn't guess, talk.

Speaker 5 (08:53):
Kind of sounds like it still kind of a little bit,
but it was way more principal office last year though,
like this year it's like more hair.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
Last year was like hair and there a cat, more like,
well what was last year? Last year was like, well,
you're gonna lose. You're gonna want to have to lose.

Speaker 5 (09:19):
To a good team because well, for us to get better,
I'll have to just take our bumps against I'm a
good team.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
And by the way, that was last year.

Speaker 5 (09:33):
Yeah, this year it's more like, well, you know, if
you're gonna lose, we're gonna we're gonna have to lose
to to a good team. You know what you got,
what you got, Let me hear what you got.

Speaker 8 (09:44):
I always think that Mike McDaniel sounds like a groggy
gen Z kid who just got wakened from a nap.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
Like he's like seeing his dorms, pretty judgmental, and he's like, why.

Speaker 4 (09:57):
Practice specific?

Speaker 1 (09:59):
That's amazing?

Speaker 4 (10:02):
Like is that Eddy Moore specific?

Speaker 1 (10:04):
That's just what It reminds me of please get out
of my own I'm tired.

Speaker 9 (10:09):
Sleep sounds like a gen zid wake up from You
are lying?

Speaker 5 (10:24):
Doesn't even do our show. Coop gets more run on
our well not as.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
Much, but you get a lot of run on our show.

Speaker 4 (10:30):
You are lying.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
And I don't even think that's a real line. From
the movie, It's not. Coop always says that to me,
is like, that's not even a real line. But that's
how I remember it.

Speaker 5 (10:40):
Like that one big part where he came to the
conclusion that his dad was lying to him.

Speaker 4 (10:46):
I wish you could never tell a lie ever.

Speaker 5 (10:48):
Again, something like that. Yeah, he wished his daddy in
the truth. He put him in some trouble man him
jacking up man. Anyway, Miami, though they were a very
competitive team in this game.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
It was also a tough spot. I mean, the Eagles
were embarrassed last week and Miami hasn't really played anybody
like Philadelphia except for Buffalo, who wiped them out. And
you know, we'll get to the Bills later on because
they got some problems. It just felt like that was
a tough spot in prime time. There was no way
Philly was going to come out and lay an egg
like they did last week.

Speaker 6 (11:23):
It's the Jets that may be the case, but that's
also a game that if we're being real with ourselves,
you got to find a way of winning and even
being I would sayn more competitive to some degree if
you want to be taken as one of the top teams.
Like if we listed off right now, because like the

(11:44):
way this past week went, and let me just be
the first to tell you I was awful in my
picks against the spread. I don't know how you guys did,
but my goodness, but this was a very revealing weekend.
This was like, Okay, who's real?

Speaker 4 (11:59):
Who's not? Philly's real?

Speaker 6 (12:02):
Like, that's a team that's destined trying to make another
run out of Super Bowl. You know the Chiefs, they're real. Like,
that's another team that's destined to try to go win
another Super Bowl. Miami, well yeah, I've picked those two two.
Those are two of the ones I did get right.
Miami was one of those ones you go, yeah, that's
when they go up against a big boy. Now, I

(12:24):
can't really like Buffalo. We've kind of seen them now,
like can they can they really just take control and
cruise to get the play. Not really Detroit five to
one team go to Baltimore. It was like they were
on the bye week for the start of that game.
They didn't want to have anything to do with Lamar Jackson.

Speaker 4 (12:43):
The Baltimore Ravens.

Speaker 6 (12:45):
Like it was a very very clear, decisive weekend for
the best and some of the teams that think they're
a top on that and it became very apparent where
exactly they sit.

Speaker 2 (12:57):
It's two pros and a cup of Joe here on
Fox Sports Radio, lebar Rington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox. We
are going to have the usuals coming up later on.
We've got another edition of In case you missed it.
We've also got an FSRR happening an hour two of

sports coming up later on tonight, and a lot to
look forward to on this show here again as we

(13:18):
take you all the way up until nine am Eastern time,
six o'clock Pacific from the tire rack dot Com studios.
But coming up next, we must get the lay of
the land. We had boots on the ground and multiple
boots of that for one of the biggest events of
the football season all season.

Speaker 1 (13:37):
And we'll have that for you next here on FSR.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here coming
up in about we'll call it a little over twenty
minutes from now from the tire rack dot Com studios.
This is a really bad look, a really bad look
for an entire conference. We will explain why that is
coming up here in a little over twenty minutes from
now here on FSR. But LeVar, you alluded to it.

(14:20):
We were there in Columbus, Ohio. We were at the
Graduate in Columbus, which, by the way, it was awesome
having everybody hang out.

Speaker 1 (14:29):
That was a last getting.

Speaker 4 (14:33):
Really hung out. Man.

Speaker 5 (14:34):
Yeah, I mean had a great time. Yeah, all weekend long. Yeah, Columbus.

Speaker 2 (14:40):
Yeah, we were there for about eleven hours. But hey,
the show was fun. We had a good time and
everybody who came out and watched the show really appreciate it.
That was awesome too, Like there was a there was
the gentleman and I hope he's listening because I wanted
to say bye to him before he left. But he
was listening, and you pointed out LeVar he was in
the front row. Oh yeah, the flannel on and he

(15:01):
was listening to the show on. Yeah, all watching the
show and that was really awesome and really cool.

Speaker 1 (15:06):
To see everybody. So that was a good time.

Speaker 4 (15:09):
And then.

Speaker 1 (15:11):
You know, Saturday rolled around. Yeah, I didn't even see
Q on set. It's like weird. I was like, where's
my dude?

Speaker 6 (15:17):
I know, I know, so a little behind the scenes
when we go into the stadium. In order to be
able to make it work, because it takes a few
minutes to do it, they usually have me go host
a segment and I did that with Klatt and Linert,
so then it allows everyone else to be able to
make it their way in otherwise we wouldn't really be
able to do it, so we're constantly kind of juggling

(15:40):
how you transition from one set outside to one set
inside the stadium.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
By the way, did production Levey hung out to dry
on some of the like the video they're showing the
shoes this tweet like, yes, that's what a nerd I am.
I'm watching for that stuff.

Speaker 6 (15:55):
And I'm like, come on, man, yeah, yeah, there was
like a card that I there was they were supposed
to roll They didn't did roll in for a preview
or a bump, and then they just go straight to
the shoe and I was like, okay, which, by the way,
I've never even seen the shoe, and I was just like, okay, anyway,
but you've got to wear it, because yeah, you've gotta

(16:15):
wear it, like you're gonna wear this awkwardness that goes
on TV. And then and I'm like, why why is
this like becoming something that happens every flipping week, Like
we had to get in Lebron James shoe that it's
designed for the game.

Speaker 4 (16:29):
Like this was such a big deal and they throw
it in there.

Speaker 5 (16:32):
Like that, Well, I heard you say it some very
kind words about me on the telecast.

Speaker 1 (16:36):
A whole bunch of people hit me up. I was like,
that's my baby, bro, man.

Speaker 5 (16:40):
Like everybody's little brother should have that type of love
for their guy. But I appreciated it, man, like a
lot of people was like, man, like you, Q was
talking good.

Speaker 4 (16:49):
I was like, well, okay, but I'm gonna be real
with you right now.

Speaker 6 (16:51):
I did not like our text conversation after the game
because I seemed more upset with the loss than you
seemed after the loss.

Speaker 5 (16:57):
Yeah, well be cause for me, I looked at it
like this, like I talked to Drew like immediately after
the game, and then we talked a little bit after it,
and you know what.

Speaker 1 (17:06):
I felt like.

Speaker 5 (17:08):
I felt like we were good enough to win the
game in spite of and I won't even go into
criticisms of of what in spite of would be sake.
It was obvious. Yeah, I think it was pretty obvious.
But our defense played well. Our defense actually turned the
tie to that game, and who knows what happens if
if that that play isn't called back. But you know,

(17:30):
we ended up losing by eight, and it wasn't a
real eight. Like I won't say it was a real
eight because we couldn't We could not move the ball consistently.

Speaker 1 (17:40):
But the defense played their hearts out.

Speaker 6 (17:43):
I thought you guys went for a fourth down rather early.
That was unnecessary. They kind of gave them. You know
field position and points to there. But the only thing
I'd say about the fumble recovery that was returned for
a touchdown was it was defensive holding.

Speaker 4 (17:59):
Yeah, I believe it was on Hardy. It was it was.

Speaker 6 (18:07):
We we went back and watched it and and what
what didn't make sense was he had outside leverage. He
was kind of funneling Harrison to the safety. It really
wasn't needed. Like I mean, I I although I guess
I say that, and like every single time a Penn
State player was in perfect position covering Martin As He's
still made the catch.

Speaker 5 (18:25):
Yeah, I still got it. I mean, he made his
money in that game. I'll tell you that he is special.

Speaker 6 (18:30):
He might have made a case for the Heisman if
he keeps doing that.

Speaker 4 (18:33):
I'll be real with you. Where hasn't been well?

Speaker 6 (18:37):
Michael Penick hasn't didn't play great and especially if they
drop a game, there hasn't been anyone who's been overly dominant.
I know people are going to challenge like, oh, well,
what about you know Michael Pennix or Bo Nicks or
you know, Dylan Gabriels. The other one too, I think
has carried Oklahoma so far this year. But the person

(18:57):
you don't want to be critical but I will be
critical of is Mike Erisich, the.

Speaker 4 (19:03):
Offense coordinator at Penn State.

Speaker 6 (19:05):
I have thought this for a while, said, I kind
of said this to a lot of folks coming into
the game. There's two concerns. The interior of Penn State's
defense has a bit light. How State might be able
to get push which they did and run the football.
And Mike geersic, well, you were one out of two.

Speaker 4 (19:24):
I mean, the reality is.

Speaker 6 (19:27):
He just he cannot come up with any sort of
scheme or plan to get guys open. Because look, I
get you don't have Marvin Harrison junior wide receiver, but
that doesn't mean like KeAndre Lambert Smith isn't capable that
that doesn't mean like the Sefist kid and think who's
a transfer Like he had all this production in the MAC,
all this production at Kent State under Sean Lewis, by

(19:49):
the way, who's now out of Colorado, all this production, right,
and you can't figure out ways of getting him the
football to the very end with a two minute drive,
which you should in that case because you have to,
Like I just I really struggled to think that Drew
Aller will be maximized or his abilities will be maximized.
If James Franklin doesn't go have to go out and

(20:11):
look for a better offensive coordinator. Like I'm sorry, I'm
not trying to call for someone's head or job, but
that was in this entire year. They've thrown eight balls
coming into this in this past week's game over twenty
five yards. Eight balls. That's it, that's it. And they
had one play over forty yards coming into the game.

(20:31):
Guess how many they have now? One play.

Speaker 4 (20:34):
And you can't sit there and just put it on
players as a coach.

Speaker 6 (20:38):
It's your job to still be able to throw the
football downfield.

Speaker 4 (20:42):
And be able to stress defenses like that.

Speaker 6 (20:45):
It was incredibly difficult to watch and sit there and say,
I don't know how Penn State can get to where
they ultimate need to get there. Because they got the quarterback,
they got an old line, they got a running game,
they got defense. You have all of it, it's all
of it, but the offensive side of the ball is
a glaring, glaring miss right now schematically what they're doing.

Speaker 5 (21:05):
I just hope it was a wake up call. That's
what I'm hoping for, Like and you know, your chich
has to be honest with himself, you know, because I
do think that this was not this was not a
player's loss, and that pains me. But I'll say this,
I mean, honest coached his ass off and I don't

(21:25):
and I honestly I don't put it on Frank either.
Like I just think that that's you. You're the CEO,
and when those things happen, they happen, and I just
you know, that's I could have been pissed off and
I could have been irate after after the game. Back
to your original point, but I was. I'm a defensive dude,

(21:50):
and I was standing with I still with our defense.
Imagine this like it's as sore as my ankle is.
I stood and was running around. My adrenaline was on high,
and I was with our defense all game long. And
let me tell you something, outside of a couple runs
and a couple of good plays by the quarterback to QB,

(22:11):
Marvin Harrison Junior was a freak. He was a man
amongst boys and not listen, Kayln King is a grown
ass man at cornerback. I was proud of our defense
and what they did, I was they stepped up. They
stepped up all game long to give them the opportunities
that they needed to win the game. Let me let

(22:35):
me ask you this Q, when when you were watching
the game, did you feel as though I felt as
though when I was watching our offense out there, the
reason why it was so difficult for for our receivers
to get open, but it wasn't very difficult for Ohio
States to get open is we were overloading on defense,

(22:59):
so we were on straight man coverage. We were not
doing any type of zoning on them at all, unless
it was like long long yardage situations. We were manning
them boys up. But we on on offense, we're we're
so we're so dependent on our our tight ends, which

(23:19):
we weren't really using. We weren't really utilizing them the
way that we, in my opinion, should have if you're
going to have them in the game. And it was
allowing for Ohio State to have to coverage two safeties
to add into the coverage scenario scenarios over over the.

Speaker 4 (23:37):
I'll put it.

Speaker 6 (23:38):
That wasn't that wasn't the issue. There was times they
were playing zero coverage and you just had a manned
a man.

Speaker 4 (23:43):
That's it. On the outside.

Speaker 6 (23:45):
There has to be more of a willingness to throw
something other than a slants, and we made we joked
about it at halftime. It became a slant athon, and honestly,
it was more Penn State than anything else. It was
almost a joke at one point, like what you could expect.
And I think the coverage was tight on Penn State,
especially when they did decide to play man, but it's

(24:07):
because they were never threatened down the field. I don't
care if you don't think that's a high percentage throw
for your offense. It's no different than times when you
see a team run between the tackles versus a really
good team with good defensive tackles. You still have to
test it and do it because it makes play action,
it makes an RPO, it makes all these things off

(24:28):
of it still work. And sometimes people say, well they
analytics doles say that it's like, no, no trust me.
I ask any defensive player if you have to run
some of that, do they have to respect it? Of
course they do because they still have to do their
job every play. If you never threaten a cornerback on
a go route, on a deep post route, the entire time,

(24:50):
they never feel threatened by it. Yeah, Like they always
feel like they're coming forward. They always feel like they
can have hands on the wide receiver and make a
play on the football. The scariest thing you can do
to a cornerback is get him into his backpedal and
have a dude run by his ass. And I don't
even care if you complete the ball, because you know
what that DB's thinking, few.

Speaker 4 (25:12):
Got away with one. Man got got away with one.

Speaker 6 (25:15):
Or sometimes when when there's someone else who's targeted and
he gets run by, he's like, few, he went somewhere
somewhere else, didn't go to my guy, thank god?

Speaker 4 (25:22):
Right, Like that's that's how they think. That's how they think.

Speaker 6 (25:27):
And at no point did Penn State really try to
threaten anything down the field. And if they want to
try to be Michigan, because that's the next big one
coming up for them, that's their only hope and shot
as they move through the Big Ten of trying to
still make it to the playoff for the Big Ten
championship game. They've got to learn to flip that switch quick.
And and you know, look at their wide receiver group.

(25:50):
That group is better than I think people are giving
credit so we gets talk about how they don't have
Marvin Harrison Junior, but the reality is they don't have
a coordinator who's designing plays to push the ball downfield
like Ryan Day did for Marvin Harrison, or even Cad
Stover for that matter, who had seventy tight ends.

Speaker 2 (26:09):
Yes, he was balling. T Tell me if you guys
came away thinking the same thing. I came away being
more disappointed in Penn State than I was impressed by
Ohio State. Same like, I just it was kind of like,
oh man, really, like, just as the game.

Speaker 5 (26:22):
I just knew this was our year to get him,
man like that we're so complete. I just knew this
was the year to get him.

Speaker 6 (26:29):
And you lost one of your best edge rushers and
chop robbits early in that game, and it's like you still.

Speaker 4 (26:34):
Would have had a shot.

Speaker 6 (26:35):
And it's just it was almost like there were just
wasted series and drives and look, I'll be the first
to say too, I didn't think Drew Aller had a
good game.

Speaker 1 (26:42):
He did not.

Speaker 6 (26:42):
He seemed rattled, He didn't seem like he ever really
found his rhythm until the very very end. But I
always feel like for a quarterback who's on the road
his first really true big game of his career. It
helps to take some shots down field, it does. It
helps to take some shots downfield and loosen them up

(27:04):
a little bit.

Speaker 4 (27:05):
And I'll go a step further.

Speaker 6 (27:07):
I mean, if you look at by the way, how
I think teams maybe felt in the NFL about Penn
State's offense and what the Sean Clifford was a fourth.

Speaker 4 (27:16):
Round draft pick.

Speaker 6 (27:18):
And I'm gonna ask you this, did you think he
was gonna get drafted by Green Bay or drafted at all?

Speaker 1 (27:23):
LeVar Wow?

Speaker 5 (27:27):
I mean if you wanted a quarterback that could run
quarterback draw, I'm just saying, no, I didn't think he drafted.

Speaker 4 (27:34):
There's people who didn't think he gets drafted. He got
drafted in the fourth round. Package is their backup? Yes,
he's their backup. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (27:42):
And so it gives you a sense of clearly at
the NFL level, some teams saw something in Sean Clifford
of his capabilities within the offense.

Speaker 1 (27:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (27:54):
And again, I know it sounded like I'm being really
really critical, but when you're talking about a team that
has a chance to play for a national championship, you
have to be Penn State fans and a lums should
be because I've seen this for years now and they
have not one to make a change at OC to
figure out a way of getting more out of the

(28:14):
piece they have. This team's too talented. I feel like
they're wasting the talent that they've got on this roster
right now.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
No, but it's fair to be critical because who's going
to be the one that gets all the criticism nationally
and from a general standpoint, it's going to be James
Franklin one to nine versus Ohio State. He can't be
top twenty five. And it's going to be the quarterback.
It's gonna be Drew Rowler. So if there's other issues
going on there, like those guys are almost covering up

(28:40):
for what could be problematic moving forward for them and
what has been problematic all along.

Speaker 5 (28:45):
I hope that they do a good self scout of
the gang because we still have a chance. They're still
really I still contend that this is a special group
and it would be a shame if if it was
wasted on and not just self scouting how you could
do things better. I mean, that's just what this is
all about. And sometimes you gotta you know, you got

(29:08):
to put maybe what's comfortable to the side. You know,
maybe he feels like he's trying to protect Drew, but
sometimes you just gotta let guys. You know, it's like
that first time when your kid doesn't have their training
wheels on their bike right, Like, they could go down,
but I'd rather see I'd rather see him go down

(29:28):
with you knowing that I'm trusting that in this process
he's either going to sink or he's going to swim,
But either way, it's going to give him the much
needed experience. I would have rather him had the experience
of pushing the ball downfield in games prior then start
trying to push the ball downfield in a game like

(29:50):
Ohio State.

Speaker 1 (29:51):
You know, I'll say this, Columbus is awesome.

Speaker 5 (29:55):
Oh I enjoyed myself awesome, And people in Columbus appreciate you.

Good morning everybody, Good morning, Jonas, Good morning, Brady, Good
morning LeVar. Guys, In case you missed Virginia's historic win
over North Carolina this weekend and then missed the head coach,
that's right.

Speaker 4 (32:57):
In case.

Speaker 1 (33:00):
That's right, LeVar.

Speaker 10 (33:01):
So, in case you missed Virginia head coaches Tony Elliott's
postgame uh interview on the.

Speaker 1 (33:07):
Field, Hey Brady, there's a reason you might have.

Speaker 10 (33:10):
Missed Tony Elliott's postgame interview on the field, and the
reason being that CW Network, which was carrying that acc game,
decided to cut away from the postgame festivities in favor
for Tim Allen's Last Man Standing, a rerun from twenty
twenty one.

Speaker 1 (33:25):
Wow is the movie Damn, You're an idiot?

Speaker 12 (33:32):
One more tap, one more tap? Yes, I know, different show, Yeah,
which is still good? Drove the point home.

Speaker 1 (33:44):
So, I mean, is the movie any good? It was
a show. It was a show. Whatever is it any Goodley.

Speaker 10 (33:52):
I have no lbody watch. I liked m Improvement back
in the day. I've never seen.

Speaker 4 (33:56):
Years sold jonas well.

Speaker 2 (33:58):
I mean, I'm trying to figure this out. Lee, he
knows all this stuff about movies and shows.

Speaker 1 (34:02):
I don't watch the CW. Okay, I don't know. I
just don't. I don't know anything about the c W.
That's what I'm saying. As soon as that went up.

Speaker 6 (34:13):
It's kind of the issue is other sports leagues have
gotten in bed with c W as there, you know, and.

Speaker 1 (34:23):
The NFL is on there.

Speaker 4 (34:26):
Is that what it's on now is on there. Building.

Speaker 1 (34:32):
They're building it up. Slow build. Yeah, it's a build,
so there you go build it. They may come.

Speaker 2 (34:39):
By the way, how much money you think Tim Allen
made off Home Improvement?

Speaker 1 (34:45):
It ran a long time, long time, Like.

Speaker 2 (34:51):
How many seasons was Home Improvement? If you guys had
to guess, I'm gonna go six. No, it was way
more than that you think. So unless you're looking at it,
I'm gonna go sit, I'm gonna say at least twelve. Okay,
Brady got a guess on this.

Speaker 4 (35:08):
Longer than six. I mean I have a family member
who was on it. Oh eight, eight.

Speaker 2 (35:16):
All right, Lee, what are we looking at? How many
seasons at Home Improvement run?

Speaker 10 (35:20):
We're looking at eight seasons and at the end, Tim
Allen was making one point two to five million per episode?

Speaker 1 (35:25):
Yeah for him, deal, that's some Seinfeld.

Speaker 4 (35:29):
How many episodes per season back then?

Speaker 10 (35:32):
Back then, I think they were doing roughly twenty But
I'm unsure.

Speaker 6 (35:38):
So you're hold on, you're telling me twenty if they
averaged how many twenty four?

Speaker 1 (35:43):
Twenty four?

Speaker 4 (35:44):
Yeah, he's making thirty million a year.

Speaker 1 (35:49):
Yeah till jetto Deal bang them by man.

Speaker 4 (35:55):
Like that?

Speaker 1 (35:56):
Has you got that syndication money dance?

Speaker 5 (35:59):
I still coming, He's still getting, No wonder he had
some issues with that booger sugar.

Speaker 1 (36:05):
Oh wow. You know you.

Speaker 6 (36:12):
Told me one time, told me he doesn't know what
cocaine tastes like.

Speaker 1 (36:16):
Smell, He thought it was a colone.

Speaker 4 (36:23):
Told me that.

Speaker 8 (36:25):
Guys, Last Man's Standing was on for nine seasons. It
even beat Home Improvement? How about that?

Speaker 4 (36:31):
I want to but he didn't make it.

Speaker 5 (36:32):
I want to revisit knowing what it smells like versus
what it tastes like. The guys, you do know where
it goes, right? I mean, it doesn't go into your mouth,
it goes into your note. That's pretty interesting noise you make,
right after all, I would explain the way was explaining.

Speaker 4 (36:54):
Debbie Dunning low key h tremendous actress.

Speaker 1 (37:00):
Be Doney. Yeah, what do you mean?

Speaker 4 (37:02):
She was one of the cast members on Hoole Improvement.

Speaker 1 (37:06):
Hey, oh god, you're right. Yeah, I remember her.

Speaker 4 (37:10):
Don't forget her.

Speaker 1 (37:11):
Yeah, she was a tool lady. Okay, oh yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4 (37:17):
I mean that's one way of putting it. Like she
was the.

Speaker 1 (37:20):
Tool lady, tooltime girl. That'll work. She was the tool lady.
Sound not the toll.

Speaker 5 (37:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (37:33):
See her rocking a Benford tools at right now. Yep,
she's got nice Now I haven't gotten that far? Uh Lee,
what else forgot?

Speaker 4 (37:46):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (37:46):
Tough look for Michigan State.

Speaker 10 (37:48):
In case you missed this, Michigan State has issued an
apology for uh an image of Adolf Hitler that went
over the scoreboard before their game versus Michigan. They're blaming
it on a third party system that was that was
in charge of the trivia which asked what where the
former Nazi Party leader was born, which, by.

Speaker 1 (38:06):
The way, was he born in East Lansing.

Speaker 2 (38:08):
Michigan State was too busy Michigan State was too busy
ratting on Michigan for using sideline stealing and as science
stealing and all that that they just overlooked the fact
that somebody was going to put Hitler on their big
boarding that.

Speaker 1 (38:24):
Was going to go over well all of a year
for Michigan State.

Speaker 5 (38:27):
Man, you go for firing a black head coach to
Hitler up on her?

Speaker 1 (38:35):
What's next?

Speaker 5 (38:37):
You know we get too soon? Keep with Come on,
Michigan State, dang out do better.
