tire buying should be. So, just want to clear up
any sort of misunderstanding that may have taken place a
short time ago, David Lee Roth, And you tell me
if this counts. I don't have it on confirmation level
yet that he did train as a samurai, but he

(01:33):
did have samurai sword training, and that kind of like
the same thing, like.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
I feel like one's training one's a lifestyle.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Yeah, okay, yeah, well he moved it, you can. Yeah,
there it is. That's it right there. I lifted that
right there.

Speaker 5 (01:53):
Yeah yeah, I mean yeah, that's like saying if you
trained with a lightsaber, you're a Jedi.

Speaker 6 (02:00):
But but.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
That's that comes in watch away up. That's fake. That's
some warrior type s right there, Like the hairs on
my neck are standing up on my I might f
you up right now.

Speaker 4 (02:13):
Jonas was that before after Tom Cruise yelled at a
personal assistant for violating COVID protocols to the movie said, well, before,
what a douche.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
A tool He's got quite the IMDb though, I mean,
their fight scenes were pretty epic. In that movie. That's
pretty movie, especially like when the ninjas came, you know,
because ninjas will sneak up on you, you know what
I mean, Tom Cruise, every hood around the world, man
and ninja will creep up on you, if you know
what I mean.

Speaker 4 (02:43):
Did Tom Cruise moved to Japan? Does he live part time?
Tom Cruise?

Speaker 1 (02:47):
David Lee Roth? Does Tom Cruise off one of the
coldest samurais in the movie? Went and lived in that
Samuraiz house with his wife and his kid, hung out
with the kid, took the wife and got deep with
the brother and got his ass whip by the master
and became a samurai and they all got their asses kicked.

(03:09):
But then did a little something at the end of
the movie. Is that it without a great synopsis of
the movie, that's pretty much it. And you didn't spoil anythings.
I didn't spoil anything, just gave the tenant, you know,
thinking about that film, he killed the coldest samurai, like
the second best samurai. Sure sounds like he spoiled some
stuff there. Oh, he spoiled it all right. She went
from why is he here too? Uh? Lunch is served

(03:35):
great when that happens. I mean, hey, man, you get
some time to train in the in the way of
the samurai, you know you you learned some things. I
guess he learned being a gentleman. I guess they worked
out for I'll tell you that.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
No.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Living in Japan, I think if he would have did
the last Samurai, I think it would have been a
doper movie. Just just me saying, I'm just saying, yeah,
that's great point. Why didn't they do that? It's a
great question.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
Knows and furthermore, who cares? Here's what we do care about?
Rock Party. Look, sweet Frock Perdy looks like he's not
going to be in action for the forty nine ers
this weekend. They've got their game against Cincinnati Bengals. Instead,
we might get to see Sam Donald, who will be

(04:20):
starting for the San Francisco forty nine ers, which should
be all sorts of fun. Man, what if Sam Donald
goes out there and plays lights out? Because you would
say Sam Donald coming out of college a much better
prospect than Brock Purty, does he Brady? Just looking at
the two, does Sam Donald do everything better than Brock Party.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
For starters?

Speaker 7 (04:43):
He hasn't shown that so far in the NFL as
a prospect. Obviously he was looked at much higher. I
mean he was drafted number three overall for the Jets,
where Purty was drafted. I think what last right is
mister irrelevant or close around that? So, I mean, I
think as a prospect, you had two different thoughts on it.

(05:04):
But now since we've seen them in the NFL, I
don't know that anyone's gonna go out there and say that.
I am really curious to see what Donald looks like
though in the system. I'll ask this question, who is
the most to gain from Sam Donald's play, and if
he plays well, is it Donald? What you might say,
it's an obvious answer, But I also think it's kind
of like Kyle Shanahan. It's another quarterback he brings in

(05:27):
plays well, and you're just going, man, this dude is
just like the quarterback whisper quarterback googer, like the real quarterback.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Your aver stuff out there. Kyle Shannhan, Oh, oh my bad.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
You put him next to Quincy. I thought it was
Quincy was talking about my bad Kyle Shannan. That was
a slip up. That's all.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
Hars just trying to give him more clout. That's what
he's doing all.

Speaker 7 (05:54):
But the reality is it's it's I mean, you could
make the case obviously it helps for the Fortnight is
moving forward too. In the event that Purdy gets hurt,
you know they've got something there as a backup, Like
that was always an issue with Jimmy Garoppolo. I mean,
you had to have someone there you felt decent about
as a backup because he was always gonna get hurt.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
It's just it's always happened. It's happened now with the Raiders.
So I think there's a bunch of different.

Speaker 7 (06:18):
Ways you could look at, Like if Sam Donald does play,
does start, and does play well, I mean, maybe it's
just the high time that raises all boats, but it
would obviously be great for his career. But I think
it's just another example of Kyle Shanahan being a genius
and being able to maximize the talents of any quarterback
that plays within a system.

Speaker 4 (06:35):
As Sam Donald said in the offseason when they were
asking about his decision to go to San Francisco, and
he just said, yeah, you'd obviously an opportunity to play
under Kyle Shanahan. And he made the point that I've
heard Brady you mentioned. I remember David Anderson, former NFL receiver,
mentioned where he said, yeah, just it just seems like
guys are always wide open, like just like, for whatever reason,

(06:56):
Kyle Shanahan just.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Has this ability to where guys are always wide open.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
And he said, so, I just you know, would would
love an opportunity to learn and be a part of
that system. And now he's getting a chance to get
an actual NFL start most likely. And uh, you know
this was the guy that that they chose and preferred
over Trey Lance. So it's going to be interesting to
see how this plays out against the Cincinnati Bengals there
by the way, Uh, still hard feelings over Sam Donald

(07:21):
LeVar for what Yeah, just.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
That Rose Bowl?

Speaker 1 (07:25):
What what Rose Bowl? You know the us CEO wasn't
a USC Penn State? Oh yeah was that?

Speaker 2 (07:30):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (07:31):
With a Dori Jackson and all of them. Yeah, that
was a great game. That was Sam Donald.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
Really, George's just like floats.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
He's really fast when he was so he's.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
Like he brought me a Jamal Charles.

Speaker 7 (07:46):
Like when they'd run, they were super fast and you
really didn't appreciate how fast they were unless you had
like a stopwatcher your clock at them.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
Because they just glided men. Yeah, he's really like Gail
Sayers type. I just fast yea.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
Yeah. We should have won the game. I don't know
why we didn't want it, but we should have won.
You got your rosebull last year, though, We did, and
we took it from from the bully of the West. Yeah,
the wicked bully of the We also what knocked their
quarterback out for the year. Yeah, we did. We definitely
did impact their their season. But they're doing all right. Yeah,
they're going all right with the walk on. They're good.

(08:22):
As long as they're playing USC they're fine. Former walk
on Wow, okay, former Wafty tailback right.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
Yeah, converted safety, the tailback.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
What happened to Enis? Is he hurt? What happened? Why
isn't he running?

Speaker 2 (08:34):
Quintin Jackson?

Speaker 1 (08:36):
Enis for Utah? You know Curtis Us his son plays
for Utah.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
I know, but the Quintin Jackson's been there. He was
their lead back coming into the season.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
Well yeah, well listen, go you. I'm just hoping that Enus,
little little young Enis was playing. You know, he might
be red shirting. How do you end up in Utah?
I didn't even go to Penn State. I don't know
they recruited it. I don't know. I don't know that
he'd have beat them dudes out that's playing in front
of him right now, you know.

Speaker 7 (09:07):
I mean the interesting thing about them is, like Jae
Quinnon was a former quarterback and he's transitioned to a
running back. You talked about Sionny Vaki. Sam just said
he's a former safety into a running back. I mean,
they do that with players all the time at Utah.
It's to me, it's one of the coolest things that
they do that people don't talk about enough.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
But yet Kyle Whittingham doesn't get any shine.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
Did He's coach of the Year?

Speaker 7 (09:31):
Yeah, he's You got to consider him coach of the
year based on how he's being able to handle everything
from Cam Rising not being there to now being a
one loss team that's potentially playing for a chance.

Speaker 2 (09:41):
To win the Pac twelve.

Speaker 7 (09:42):
I mean, this week will ultimately decide that or be
one of the games to decide that. But he's done
an incredible job despite all the injuries. And then Brent Keithy,
Like people know Dn Kincaid because he kind of burst
on the scene last year, but Bran Keithy was the
tight end doing it before him at Utah. He got hurt.
They were expecting him to come back do big things

(10:03):
this year. Then he got hurt again. So it's I mean,
when you look at the rash of injuries they've had,
how they've overcome it. I mean, Kyle Whittingham and Morgan
Scaley are magicians like they they really are with the
way they're able to develop players and put players in
a position to succeed.

Speaker 1 (10:19):
Speaking of players who could make a return, Dude, no,
Deon Sanders is getting Coach of the Year. Though he's
going to get it. I don't know, man, he's going
to get it. I mean, he won more than one game.
The Washington Utah matchup could be for what.

Speaker 7 (10:34):
Could decide it. Yeah, Bor will be up there. There's
a lot of guys that will be up there. The
difference I'd saying with Debor is you know he's he's.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
Not playing with a quarterback. That it was a back.

Speaker 7 (10:45):
I mean technically Bryce and he wasn't even the start
of to begin of the season. It was Nate Johnson,
and they kind of switched off and on. Now they've
settled on Barnes. But like if you if you kind
of look at everything else they've dealt with, Like, I
don't know, man, you can make a really good case.

Speaker 4 (10:58):
Dan Lanning might be in the conversation Eddie not hated
field goals at the end of the first half.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
That might have just kicked it instead of going for
fourth down.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
Why take the points there?

Speaker 2 (11:07):
Let's look, I mean, he's got his opportunity this week
for Utah. So that's on Fox, by the way, is
it really it's on Fox?

Speaker 1 (11:15):
On Fox?

Speaker 4 (11:16):
Yeah, Kyler Murray is a full participant in practice for
the first time since his knee injury.

Speaker 1 (11:23):
So we're getting close.

Speaker 4 (11:25):
We are getting close to Kyler Murray potentially making a return.
He got hurt last December, if I'm not mistaken. So
we're looking at about ten months off since the injury.
And you know, maybe the Arizona carlinon was like, all right,
let's just see what we got, Let's kick the tires,
and then if we don't like what we see from
Kyler Murray, then no harm, no foul, We'll just take
a quarterback high atop the draft. Like maybe that's the

(11:46):
approach there with Kyler Murray. What do you guys think,
Josh Dobbs has played pretty well, pretty well all.

Speaker 1 (11:51):
Things considered there, So I think they got to be
very careful with Kyler Murray and just make sure that
he's fully fully fully full fully fully fully fully fully
fully full fully ready to go, you know, so that
he doesn't get in and get hurt in the first quarter,
you know, they got to pull him out or like
he has any type of minor setbacks or anything like that.

(12:12):
I think they got to just make sure that they
take it slow. I mean, because it's not like, you know,
the Cardinals are going anywhere fast this season, so you
make sure you protect the health of your franchise quarterback
with The thing they.

Speaker 7 (12:26):
Really got to be careful about is the injury guarantee.
So he's got some guarantees in twenty twenty four that
obviously only kick in if he's able to be on
the roster healthy on the roster at that point in
time next year. So if they wanted to move on,
they would still owe him a tremendous amount of money
if he comes back. It's too soon to your point,

(12:48):
LeVar gets hurt and so that's there's some financial risk here.
It sounds like from everything that Cardinals have said, and
Jonathan Gannon said though, that they're not concerned about that.

Speaker 2 (12:57):
They want Tom back, they want to be able to play, and.

Speaker 7 (13:00):
Given how well Dobbs has played, it makes you curious
to see what it looked like with Kyler Murray and
this offense. They've They've been extremely competitive, they done well,
you know, and and nothing against Josh Dobbs, but I
think we'd agree Kyler Murray's more dynamic runner when he
gets out in space. So I'm just kind of curious
to see how fast he's able to come back, then,
how impactful he'll be he'll be able to be, and

(13:22):
how healthy he'll be able to be depending on when
he comes back.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
Good for him by the way, you know, working his
way back.

Speaker 4 (13:28):
Yeah, so, uh so we'll get to see how that
plays out here, and who knows, maybe in the next
couple of weeks we could see old Kyler Murray back.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
And then you know what was on a card that
ain't no BS. No it ain't know what I mean, No,
it ain't. Yeah, ain't no BSV no BSV one R
two two three, san.

Speaker 4 (13:44):

(14:54):
big week for you, how are we feeling?

Speaker 1 (14:56):
Good morning, LeVar, Good morning, Albert Breer, Good morning.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
Wow. Right out of the gate, you got a good game.
I mean, yeah, y'all got it.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
You got bragging rights for another yet another year.

Speaker 2 (15:07):
You know.

Speaker 8 (15:07):
Yeah, I'm.

Speaker 1 (15:13):
I mean, spoken like a true buck eye.

Speaker 7 (15:15):
But yeah, and now he's got to build an excuse
if if Michigan loses, excuse me, lose to Michigan, He'll
just say I.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
Was the sign stealing.

Speaker 8 (15:24):
I was gonna say, uh, Levy, we really got the
heat taking off of you guys this week, huh.

Speaker 1 (15:31):
I mean, you know, to be honest with you, Albert,
I was at the game. You guys, aren't that good?
You got you got, you got, you got a good
defense for certain, you got one really really amazing uh receiver.
I mean he's special. You know. The tight end is
good too. But I'm you know, I wouldn't be surprised
if you guys took it. I wouldn't be surprised if

(15:53):
Wisconsin beat y'all. Man. I'm just being honest.

Speaker 8 (15:55):
I don't know so you're saying it. Well, I mean,
trust me, like I I watched football like this for
ten years when Jim Tressel was the coach. So this
isn't a foreign This isn't foreign like I've seen I've
seen teams win this way before. But uh, you guys
got a great defense too.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
Yeah, great defense kept us in again. The other things apparently, yeah,
well yeah, well we're working to figure things out. But
you know what, that's hair Nord. There you guys got
the W and and congrats on your win and still
being you know, a top of the board of rankings
and and moving forward undefeated. There you go, Thank you.

Speaker 2 (16:31):
See the respect there, ar LeVar.

Speaker 8 (16:35):
I really appreciate you guys playing a nice clean game too.

Speaker 1 (16:37):
Yeah yeah, it.

Speaker 8 (16:38):
Was everything seemed to be above board on Saturday.

Speaker 1 (16:42):
You're being I can hear the sarcasm. I can hear
the sarcasm.

Speaker 8 (16:47):
I'm just I'm just saying I enjoy a well played
game filled with integrity, right, Like, It's just it was
good to see that on Saturday.

Speaker 1 (16:55):
He's taking a shot at Michigan. He's moved on to Michigan.
Clearly you've already beat Okay, well, just.

Speaker 7 (17:00):
Don't ask you, Albert, is the sign stealing why Michigan
has beaten Ohio State the past two years?

Speaker 2 (17:05):
But I think double digits these are the past two years.

Speaker 8 (17:08):
Oh no, no, no, no no. I'm a man of integrity,
and I you know, I look the scoreboards, the scoreboard,
so you don't see what happens this year. But scoreboards,
the scoreboard.

Speaker 1 (17:17):
Oh oh, I mean fired enough? Huh man bang bang, Yeah,
you want to house tatement, damn. So when you win,
you get to touch you know, yeah, close there. No, No,
I knew where I was going. I went right to the.

Speaker 4 (17:36):
Noah, okayd all right, So Albert, something that's not all
good is brock Purty.

Speaker 1 (17:42):
He's in concussion.

Speaker 4 (17:43):
Protocol, which looks like we might see Sam Darnold in
line to start for the forty nine ers.

Speaker 1 (17:49):
When did you did you notice anything or did you
talk to people?

Speaker 2 (17:53):
Did this?

Speaker 4 (17:53):
Was this a surprising to you as it was other
people that he just popped up on a Wednesday?

Speaker 8 (17:58):
Yeah, definitely count me off guard. You know, sometimes he
thinks happened. I don't know. I mean, I this stuff
is so sensitive, Jonas, you know like that, you know,
like I know, everybody thinks something the farious might have
happened and everything else, but the reality is, you know,
these things can happen in football games and can go
unnoticeding football games, and there are independent percussion spotters at

(18:20):
these games. And and look like you know, I I think,
and you know, we got two of the guys here
who played in the league, Like I you know, like
guys are going to do what they need to do
to stay in games. You know, And I if brought party,
ignored symptoms or didn't report symptoms, or played through something

(18:40):
that maybe he shouldn't have played through, like he certainly
wouldn't be the first person to do that, you know,
especially as a quarterback and a guy who you know
your team really needs you out there. So I mean,
I like, again, like it's it's good they caught it
when they did. It's good that they they were able
to figure out what he was going through. But until

(19:01):
like there's like proof is someone ignored someone willingly ignored something,
like I don't know, it's a big leave to take
to think that, like, you know, like there was anything
nefarious that went on here, I would assume that, you know,
in this case, it was just look like you know,
people missed it and maybe Brock himself missed it, and
you know it's good that they caught it on the
way home.

Speaker 7 (19:21):
You know, this honestly brings to mind like when you
were young. I remember one of the first times I
think I was playing sackle football in third grade and
had a coach asked me, are you hurt or are
you injured? And at the at a very young age,
he was trying to like really teach me the difference
between the two, like, if you're hurt, you're gonna be
in pain, but you can still play.

Speaker 2 (19:39):
If you're injured, you can't play.

Speaker 7 (19:41):
And it kind of brings into that where I figure
seeing that right now kind of across the NFL in
some ways, But it is when you look at this
sort of thing, do you sit there and say to yourself,
like the NFL should reevaluate how they go about identifying
concussions or handling concussions or injuries for that that matter.
It seems like with the injury reports too, and just

(20:03):
I don't know what you want to call the Bejon
Robins situation a couple weeks ago, but how do you
think they need to go about handling basically giving out
information especially for the betting markets.

Speaker 8 (20:12):
Yeah, it's obviously that, Brady, because we just had actually
had that talk with our third grade football team about
being hurt and being injured. Yeah, I think it's I
think they've already done a ton and I and I
do think we're making progress, right, Like I think was
it like three four years ago that Ben Roethlisberger self
reported one, right, and you know, and that was great

(20:35):
to see that, right like that that a guy would say,
you know what, like I don't feel right, I'm going
to say something to the doctor. The doctor was able
to diagnose him and they were able to pull him
out of the game. Here's the problem. And I think
this is the problem, not just the concussions, but with
all injuries. And you guys, and you guys can relate
to this. Ben Roethlisberger did that when he was what

(20:56):
fifteen years into the league and had you know, nine
figures in his banking count, so like he was in
a position where he could afford to do that. If
you're talking about a guy, you know, like I brought
party for example, who could eventually get there but certainly
isn't there now and doesn't want to open the door
for somebody else to come in and take his job,

(21:17):
which is the reality of almost every guy in the NFL.
Is like, if you come off the field, for eighty
percent of the guys in the NFL, you come off
the field and you risk losing your job for it, Right,
how hard is it to get that guy to report, Oh,
my god, I got my bell rung, or I'm seeing stars,
or you know, my knee doesn't feel quit quite right,
or my shoulder feels loose. Like that's the problem, you know,

(21:40):
And that's the fundamental issue is you know, in a
league without guaranteed contracts, you know, and this is kind
of the dichotomy, like you know, with the NFL itself,
it's like they're never going to guarantee all the contracts,
yet they want you to report all the injuries fall.
Like if you're a player in that situation and you know,
like your ability to continue playing the game like rides

(22:01):
on your ability to stay on the field, You're going
to do everything you can to stay on the field.
And what happens to make it really difficult.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
So how does that change in a player's mindset? Albert
If you have a fully.

Speaker 9 (22:11):
Guaranteed deal, I mean, I think I think it at
the very least if you have if you have a
full guaranteed and it may not even have as much
to do with the contract, but I do think it does.

Speaker 8 (22:21):
To some degree. Like like, look like if I sign
a if I come in, if I'm a first round pick,
and I sign a fully guaranteed four year deal, right well,
and I'm in the second year of my deal, well
then I know, like that team is probably not cutting
me after the year, versus like if I'm a seventh
round pick, which is what brock Party is, Like, none
of my money is guaranteed, and so like if I

(22:44):
get hurt and somebody else takes my job, then they
can just cut me at the end of the year
and it's not a problem. I think it all ties
to job security, you know what I mean. And maybe
it's not the money so much as it is the
job security, you know. But you know, like job security
in the NFL is zero for most players, you know,
and guys who come in as first round picks. Of
the two of you guys did like you have a
little bit more, but you know, I think every and

(23:08):
you guys can speak as much better than I can,
Like there's just like for almost everybody in the NFL,
your job security is day to day, and there's somebody
behind you, in most cases a really good player and
is ready to take your job. And then Brock Party's case,
the guy behind him was a third pick in the
draft five years ago. Now he hasn't played great, but

(23:30):
he still got talent, you know. So you know, you
sort of understand the psychology of this. And I don't
know that like guarantee contracts that fits it, you know,
across the board probably wouldn't. But I do think like
the fact that contracts aren't guaranteed do affect the way
that certain players approach these situations and affect the culture

(23:50):
of players playing hurt in the league.

Speaker 1 (23:52):
I thought that was a great explanation. Ab And you
used the word in the farious earlier on in another
response taking what your explanation was, would guarantee versus not
guaranteed nefarious? I mean, how do you relate that to
what's going on in Cleveland? If at all?

Speaker 8 (24:08):
Yeah, I think it's it's a weird situation, definitely. I mean,
I look, I go on what I know, and what
I know is the coaches and players that I've talked
to there still have Deshaunk's back on this, And you know,
I talked to PJ. Walker after a game a couple
of weeks ago and to Deshaun had helped him get
ready for the game and a couple of his coaches attitude,

(24:30):
and he's done a lot, Like he's done a lot
behind the scenes, so he's still I just think if
like if he was quitting on the team, like you
would get that vibe, and I don't get that vibe.
But look like I'm I see everything that everybody else
sees too, you know what I mean, which is like
this was seen as something that was like a day
to day or a week to week type of injury,

(24:51):
and now we're at five or six weeks and we
seem to be going backwards where it was. We're taking
a ray up until the game and then he can't play.
Well we're actually starting in the game and then calling
him to now like he's being ruled out on Wednesday.
So like that definitely makes it look like it's going backwards.
And then you have the pr aspect of this, you know,
which is the injury information got out this week and

(25:14):
why is that? Well, I mean, trust me, like this
is my line of work, Like I know the way
this works. Like that doesn't get out for no reason,
and it means somebody was feeling the heat, whether it's
somebody Deshaun's camp for somebody with the Browns. So this
has definitely gotten to the point where it's where it's
a little weird. And again, like I don't have I
don't have any evidence that, like you know, the team
is upset with him, or that his teammates are upset

(25:35):
with them, or that he's put on the team. But
it's definitely in a very very very strange place.

Speaker 4 (25:41):
Albert Brier joining us here on Fox Sports Radio, senior
NFL reporter at the MMQB Albert, the trade deadline is
coming up on Tuesday, the thirty first, Happy Halloween.

Speaker 1 (25:50):
Who's going to get something? Who's on the move? What
are you hearing?

Speaker 8 (25:53):
Yeah? So I think Minnesota is a team to watch. Now.
The interesting thing is like three of the teams that
would have put in this category one over the week
in Minnesota, Denver, New England that would be Sellers. Minnesota
would be a team to watch though, and so you know,
I think Daniel Hunter is the one that everybody's got
their eye on maybe for a day two pick he
goes somewhere. He's in the contract year. You know, they'll

(26:14):
get calls on kJ Osborne. If Harrison Smith wanted to
go somewhere, I think they could find a home for him.
I don't know that he will. He took a pay
cut to stay there, you Carolina, you know they'll get
calls on Brian Burns. You know they They've turned down
massive offers for Brian Burns over the last year, so
they haven't had the appetite to move him. But he

(26:34):
is in the contract year, you know. And then I
think Denver is interesting because Denver's gonna listen on everybody
and it's not gonna be fire sale. But Jerry Judy, Courtland, Sutton,
Garrett Bowles, Josie Jewel, Justin Simmons and I And they've
gotten calls on Pattistan too. Now, Sir Tan, I think
would be a whole harder to get. But if somebody

(26:55):
comes with the Ja Jalen Ramsey package where they listen,
you know they need to and they're going to be
looking for picks over the next week. And then New England,
you know they've got a number of young players josh
Ugh ja Miken want to you know, Kyle Dugger that
are up after this year that they haven't been able
to re sign, So they're going to listen on people too,

(27:15):
So you know, I think you're going to have a
healthy market. And then you know the other one will
be Washington and I missed them there, but the two
defensive ends in Washington bear watching Montes Wet and Chase Young,
especially if they lose on Sunday. The Commanders I think
will listen on both of those guys. I don't think
they'll trade both of them, but but but they're certainly
open to the idea of trading one or the other.

(27:37):
And if I had to guess right now, I would
say maybe more amenable to moving Chase Young than than Montese.

Speaker 7 (27:43):
What wow, it can be honest way out So Hill,
you're telling me, Albert, even if Minnesota wins this week,
they'll still be shopping players. I mean, they'd be two
and on in the division, they'd be climbing back into
the playoff hunt, and they're.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
Just going to deal with these players. Hey, Kirk, keep
playing and got a high level. You got to go
on this thing.

Speaker 8 (28:04):
I mean you got to consider where they are though, Brady,
I mean like they've been very disciplined. The Giants are
the same way. The record isn't as good, but the
Giants and the Vikings to the same approach, which was
like last year they were going to win with the
players they inherited, and then they were going to go
through their cap reset in year two. And so like
the Vikings I think are carrying something like sixty million
dollars dead money this year. They've reset a bunch of things.

(28:26):
They obviously jettison some some veteran players, you know, Dalvin
Cook and Adam Feelen and Rick Hendricks. They're really this
is really a reset year for them. And so like
there's two sides of it, right, Like, which is like,
if you're really resetting, you want to build up draft
capital and you don't want to go all in on
players who are going to be gone this year. Daniel

(28:47):
Hunter would fit in that category as a guy who's
going to be a free agent next year, you know.
But on the other side, yeah, you do want to
give the guys who are are in house now a
chance to compete. So they're balancing those two things. Like
I think I would say this, Brady, I think like
they're more cognizant of their ability to get back in
the race now than they were a week or two ago.

(29:08):
But they're still going to listen on on players if
they don't think are going to be there in a
year or two.

Speaker 4 (29:13):
He is Albert Breer, senior NFL reporter at the MMQB.
You can get him on Twitter at Albert Breer, and
I don't even need to ask him. I think he
feels like this weekend, at the end of the game,
Ohio State will be leading Wisconsin by more than fourteen
and a half points.

Speaker 8 (29:27):
That's maybe cam Brandle. You know what, though, cam Brandle's
a tough place to play, and Luke Fickle knows Ohio
State pretty well, so it could be a little bit
more of a dog fight than people think.

Speaker 1 (29:38):
So there it is the great Albert Breer. Albert, we
appreciate it. We'll do it again next week.

Speaker 8 (29:43):
All right, Thanks, guys, have a good one.

Speaker 1 (29:45):
It is two pros and a cup of Joe here
on Fox Sports Radio. Sam. What I would just I
would love it.

Speaker 2 (29:53):
I love it.

Speaker 5 (29:55):
I did just win there, so you know Ohio Station
going there and win by forty, right, I won by
nine in my ear.

Speaker 1 (30:02):
I would just want there. I couldn't.

Speaker 6 (30:05):
It had been a minute I could.

Speaker 1 (30:07):
I couldn't even hear Albert's side off this episode. No,
it's fine. I'm just you know, they won big win
for Iowa. Yeah, Floyd, you know what Q's finger speed
is a freaking a blip.

Speaker 2 (30:22):
I had my mic on mute. That's what I was like.

Speaker 1 (30:24):
I wonder if I think I think I was speed
of your fingers and the typing and how it hit,
but it overwhelmed the mute. It was quicker than the mute.
I'm telling You're like, you're like Gordon, think that was possible.
You need probably you probably pick up piano quick if

(30:45):
you try. You really could your your finger.

Speaker 7 (30:47):
That actually had the teacher after five lessons told me
he asked if I wanted to learn the guitar because
I was not picking up on very well.

Speaker 1 (30:54):
I'll tell that piano teacher to kiss your ass, all right,
you don't deserve that.

Speaker 2 (30:58):
He was actually a nice gentleman.

Speaker 7 (31:00):
We got to a certain point we kind of hit
a wall, and I was like, well, I got a

Speaker 5 (32:58):
What do we got guys? It is National Pumpkin Day.
We're less than a week away from the Halloween. Do
you guys have any uh tricks of the trade for
cutting up jack O lanards?

Speaker 6 (33:07):
You guys inter out I don't.

Speaker 1 (33:09):
I don't, but I saw a recipe for pumpkin white
chocolate what brownies?

Speaker 2 (33:17):
Wow?

Speaker 1 (33:18):
And I almost well, yeah, well I wanted to take
a bath in them, like fill up my bath tub
with them and jump in there and slay with them.

Speaker 4 (33:29):
Yeah, and wash with them. I'm pretty Uh. I'm a
horrible artist. I can't draw anything or design any day.
Have stencils, man, Well, no, but I don't use stetzels.
Can you stay in the line, candy ass? Can you
stay in the line?

Speaker 7 (33:44):
That's well, that's the trick to make it look good,
you gotta you gotta sketch it first, then you gotta cut.

Speaker 1 (33:48):
Yeah, I don't do that. I'll take I'll just use
a knife and I go triangle eye, a smile, Oh
my gosh, that's it, or frown, depending on what mood
I am.

Speaker 6 (33:58):
I had teeth in there.

Speaker 4 (34:00):
I'll mix in a couple of teeth, and then from
time to time, if I go the frown instead of
the smile, I'll do it. I'll do a tear running
down one of the eyes.

Speaker 7 (34:08):
I feel bad saying this, but I actually have my
seven year old smile right now.

Speaker 2 (34:13):
She's lost so many teeth it looks like a jack lot.
She's missing so many teeth.

Speaker 7 (34:19):
Take I look at her, I'm just like, hey, babe,
can you just smile for a couple of seconds.

Speaker 1 (34:23):
You got to put a picture of her stencil on
your next to it, no, on your your on the pumpkin, yes,
and then carve it out like it's her face.

Speaker 2 (34:31):
I don't.

Speaker 7 (34:32):
I don't know if I want to draw too much
attention to it. That's one those awkward phases. You don't age,
do you.

Speaker 4 (34:37):
Guys prefer pumpkin patches or Christmas tree lots?

Speaker 1 (34:41):
Neither Christmas tree lots? Why the smell?

Speaker 2 (34:46):
The smell is fantastic.

Speaker 1 (34:47):
That is a good point. I don't.

Speaker 7 (34:48):
But there's something about a pumpkin patch more to do
out there if you.

Speaker 2 (34:53):
Go to it.

Speaker 1 (34:53):
Now, if you go if you grew up where we
grew up, and you go to a pumpkin patch, that's
way better. Like you guys don't have the type of
landscape that we had, true to underwood farms. Yeah, it
is true. There's nothing. There's nothing that you can do
to match what Pennsylvania pumpkin pass.

Speaker 7 (35:09):
Oh yeah, Ever, forget my dad taking us as a family.
It was literally like Christmas vacation. How the movie starts
off and they go off to go cut down their country.

Speaker 2 (35:18):
Did that one year? Man?

Speaker 7 (35:19):
It was my mom would never let us do that
ever again, we were so poorly behaves and it's just
the whole process was an absolute nightmare because.

Speaker 4 (35:29):
You just want to run around and hide behind the
other trees. Nobody gets anything done.

Speaker 1 (35:33):
But if you go to like a real pumpkin patch,
like tight deal, there's like livestock and stuff there, Like
it's like a real, real, like country experience.

Speaker 4 (35:42):
I'm telling you Underwood Farms in Moore Park. I'm telling
you legitimate pumpkin patch and.

Speaker 1 (35:49):
Did like the hot apple cider and stuff like that
and all the things the smell of what you know,
Ottoman Fall brings to you.

Speaker 2 (35:57):
Now you gotta wear a mask of that one though.

Speaker 1 (35:58):
Don't you know? You don't. I don't believe. So that's
vent Terra County, Perks. There's no skittles there.

Speaker 4 (36:04):
I mean in l A County you probably get arrested
if you didn't have an N ninety five on a lee.
What would you bring into a pumpkin patch if you
had to.

Speaker 6 (36:13):
A little pump a little cider?

Speaker 1 (36:14):
Yeah, what what would it be carried in lee?

Speaker 6 (36:18):
Uh my teealing whiskey flask, of course.

Speaker 1 (36:23):
Flask. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (36:24):
I live right next door to a half assed pumpkin
patch that has a little petting zoo.

Speaker 6 (36:29):
Say hi to the alpaca every day.

Speaker 1 (36:30):
There you go, whatever spit on you?

Speaker 2 (36:33):
Hi?

Speaker 6 (36:34):
Hell now I know the lama spit. I haven't seen
the alpaca.

Speaker 2 (36:39):
Spits does every day?

Speaker 7 (36:44):
Say it Hi to an alta, Why.

Speaker 1 (36:54):
How you doing today? Here's probably that that may not
be an alpaca, just a dog with a long necks
one and they just say that I can't tell.

Speaker 2 (37:06):
Takes aw.

Speaker 6 (37:11):
I got a blanket made out of you.

Speaker 2 (37:13):
I do. It's very comfort.

Speaker 7 (37:16):
Our packa first expensive that I knew a buddy who
had a girlfriend in high school that used to have
like three or four and shooting makes thousands selling off.
It's such a they're like fertilizer to like, like every
part like an ol packa side the spit you can
like use for money.

Speaker 6 (37:35):
We got late NBA tonight. We got two games. We've
got Sixers at Bucks and Sons at Lakers. Which game
are you watching.

Speaker 1 (37:42):
Neither six or some Bucks this Thursday night? Football? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (37:47):
I mean that's true the right coast.

Speaker 1 (37:48):
I mean, I'm a football guy, so I'm gonna I'm
gonna go with that. I'm gonna do to all one
ones tonight. You know, I'm all eleven.

Speaker 2 (37:55):
Baby.

Speaker 1 (37:57):
Yeah, that's great Stick City place. Baby.

Speaker 2 (38:00):
You know what was upsetting what we talked briefly about
the legacy of Stick City and how you started.

Speaker 7 (38:07):
And I feel like I wanted to get in more
and I wanted to talk with you before the event,
but I completely forgot Friday and then you were like
m I A. When I was trying to talk to
Dave about when you'd get there, you.

Speaker 1 (38:18):
Crushed it, though I appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (38:20):
Yeah, it's a place.

Speaker 1 (38:21):
It is a place. Yeah, it's a place, all right.
And I'm going to my home, my place.

Speaker 8 (38:26):
Hi.

Speaker 2 (38:26):
Ow, I'm out. Hi. Hell Hi
