By the way, how are we coming along on that
autograph of the back of the VHS tape that was auting?
Speaker 6 (01:55):
Did they bring it to you still? I've not seen
a VHS team. Okay, well we're still working on that.
Speaker 4 (02:01):
Lee must have left it. You know, he might have
been high off of his own supply of morning time.
Speaker 2 (02:07):
Lee was getting right out of there since they were
across the street.
Speaker 4 (02:12):
Was Lee supposed to bring it back or was it
mail It might have been mailed back. They might be mailed.
Speaker 1 (02:17):
Okay, oh yeah, that's all right, we'll get How many
copies do you have, Coop?
Speaker 6 (02:23):
I don't know, probably only like a couple and the
and they're also there are also VHS's.
Speaker 4 (02:27):
Can I have one? I mean, yeah, you want to?
You want to go?
Speaker 6 (02:35):
They're all at my mom's house. Okay, did ask go
get them? I'll ask her. Yeah, I'm sure there's DVDs.
I just back when when I did the movie that
wasn't really a you know, a thing yet, So the
studio sent me a bunch of VHS's.
Speaker 4 (02:53):
So those are originals?
Speaker 7 (02:55):
Yeah, are you old enough to remember, like I don't know,
vivid things of working with Jim Carrey and all that.
Speaker 4 (03:01):
Yeah, is he like funny and real Like a lot
of comedians are not funny in real life. They're like
kind of like blah blah. How is he? He's absolutely funny.
He's always the same.
Speaker 6 (03:14):
Yeah, that's it's he's not really I mean not saying
that he's not really acting, because he's done a lot
of serious roles where he does some serious, heavy acting.
Speaker 4 (03:22):
But in the comedic stuff, that's just him. Uh huh.
What about you? Are you the same as you were
on the movie? Are you a method actor? Cooper?
Speaker 8 (03:31):
Ye?
Speaker 4 (03:31):
Do you act the same as you did back then? Yes?
You getting? Ah, You're gonna do Half Baked Part two?
Coop's Revenge is hot? I would I would love it.
I would be I would star in it with you.
If you want to do that list, I would sign
on so much. I would sign onto that pretty quickly too, Coop.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
Coop, how old were you when you did the movie?
Speaker 4 (03:53):
I was seven?
Speaker 2 (03:54):
Okay, dang, that's crazy.
Speaker 4 (03:56):
He's pretty crazy.
Speaker 6 (03:57):
Yeah, so like twenty like closer to eight or real seven,
like real seven. So it was twenty seven years ago.
Speaker 4 (04:05):
Because there's a lot of development from seven to eight,
Like it's a big jump.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
Is there?
Speaker 4 (04:11):
Yeah? What are you talking? I'm dealing with it right now. Really, Yes, Yeah,
there's a big jump from seven.
Speaker 7 (04:16):
When your kid turns seven, they start to turn into
like a little person, like like a real little person.
By the time they hit eight, like eight, is you're
doing stuff.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
You're going like damn.
Speaker 4 (04:27):
Yeah, like my daughter at eight right now is I'm
sitting there like, are you freaking kidding me? Like she's
she's smarter than me. Oh god, I mean, I don't
know if that's saying much, but about me, I'm just
saying my son's already there and he's two and a half.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
So no, no he's not. No he's not. I can
assure you no he's not. He's not Jonas. But you know,
to give us some time, my guy. Yeah, that's your
first one. You don't have any comparisons.
Speaker 4 (04:51):
Yeah, I mean unless you was around Tyrone's kids, you
know what I mean, then you got a comparison. Yeah,
that's that might have been a little different. Yeah, there's
some differences there though. They're a little bit bigger than
your boy, a little bigger, a little little little different.
Could play different different background textures, all that stuff, cheese,
different streets, riding a different type of rat, all the old.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
School, old same hydraulics.
Speaker 2 (05:17):
Things popping up and down.
Speaker 4 (05:19):
Man, when they pulled up, I was like, damn, and
the caddy, the top down brough all of them is
like all of us six, six sixty seven. It's like
five of them and they all got in the same car.
He's had that Cadillac for so long. Like that was like,
but that's when cars were car. That's when cars were cars. Like,
you hit something with that car, big, you hit something
(05:40):
with that car to day and you're turning that into
a can. Yeah, like literally smash can. Yeah, you go
through anything with them old caddies.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
Man, Yeah, those are boats boats on.
Speaker 4 (05:51):
We have six foot seven kids, three of them in
the back seat. Y'all pulling off comfortably. You gotta pull
the top down.
Speaker 2 (05:57):
Sound like amane.
Speaker 4 (05:59):
It was flying than that backseat. Caddy. Is a cat
used to be homeless in their caddies?
Speaker 3 (06:05):
No, they' not.
Speaker 4 (06:06):
Some caddies is bigger than some of these parks studio
apartments in the back seat. Why so many of you
born from a caddy?
Speaker 1 (06:15):
Damn you too, Coop. We got confirmation. Well, listen, I
was kind of spicy for well, I mean something got
a little spicy in the NFL.
Speaker 4 (06:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (06:30):
Yeah, all of a sudden, just out of the blue,
Huels fall off out of the middle of the week
a Wednesday, getting ready for Week Gate in the NFL,
kicking off later on tonight. We'll have more on that
coming up later on between the Bucks and the Bills.
And next thing, you know, everybody's favorite quote unquote system
quarterback Brock Purty ends up in concussion protocol a couple
(06:52):
of days after a game against the Minnesota Viking. So
here was this head coach Kyle Shanahan talking with the
media about the situation.
Speaker 8 (07:00):
I started getting symptoms on the plane, so we finally
found that out when we landed. We were all pretty asleep.
But then he got all checked up today and I said,
are yesterday and I was in the protocol?
Speaker 4 (07:10):
How does he have.
Speaker 3 (07:10):
Enough time to clear a protocol in order to be
available for the game of Sunday?
Speaker 9 (07:14):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (07:14):
Yeah, he does have enough time. Just got to go
through the process.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
And you watched the film. Where do you think he
heard of himself?
Speaker 4 (07:20):
Quarterback sneaks?
Speaker 2 (07:21):
Possibly.
Speaker 8 (07:22):
We don't know for sure because he didn't start getting
into the plane, so I don't know exactly, but i'd
probably guess at all.
Speaker 4 (07:29):
I guess when you're a coach on the sideline to
relay in a.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
Kind of sense, anything like that. I know that you
have an independent neurologist. We're supposed to be looking for that,
but as.
Speaker 8 (07:38):
A coach to you, no, I mean because I mean
I don't get to talk to him when I'm calling
plays in you know, but he on the sidelines a
couple of those series, I mean, nothing with Grease hearing it,
and I know after the game he talked to you
guys and Corey. So it's kind of a surprise when
I woke up on.
Speaker 1 (07:53):
The plane on one of those that was Kyle Shannan
talked about the brock party situation. On one of those
quarterback sneaks. There's a video going around where I think
it's Hicks of the Vikings who just cracked him to
where it was helmet to helmet, and some people have
speculated maybe that was where the blow took place. But
I mean, he didn't, like nothing popped up, like there
(08:15):
was no And doesn't this kind of signal that when
people are talking about Tua and all these other concussions,
it's like, man, not everything is equal. Like some of
this stuff maybe just pops up later on, And it
doesn't mean that the team is being reckless or the
coach is being reckless. It's just people showed symptoms at
different times.
Speaker 2 (08:33):
Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 7 (08:34):
I mean, concussions are a really interesting, unique thing. Everyone
experiences them in different ways. I saw the hit you're
talking about. It's one of the hits when you're talking
about the whole push, push, brotherly shove, that play that's
going to happen at some point too. And that's why
it kind of gives me a little bit of a
concern because with a lot of those sneaks, the way
(08:56):
we're doing him now, that's really the only recourse has
But in this case for Purdy, I think the hard
thing is we have seen a handful of players be
able to pass protocol in the same week and still
get out there and play, but this kind of felt
like it was late in the week in the process,
which would make it difficult for them to be able
(09:17):
to furst have him get cleared in time. But it's
not saying he can't, It just it seems like could
be a little bit more of a difficult process to
go that route either way. If you look at the
stats too, after he sustained that hit, that's when the
two picks came into play. That's what his play really
went downhill in the game was after that particular quarterback
(09:39):
steak where he took the shot from Hicks.
Speaker 2 (09:41):
So maybe that lends to explain a little bit more.
I think there's been other.
Speaker 7 (09:45):
Quarterbacks who've sustained hits stayed in and you've kind of
seen that sort of play before.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
But it's different for everyone.
Speaker 7 (09:52):
And that's the crazy thing about concussions and know it's
how players and teams and everyone has to deal with it.
Speaker 4 (09:56):
Well, I'm glad you offered that reasoning because I was
really one or and did the did the milk go bad?
Did the did the well run dry? I'm just you know,
you watch the way he was playings, like, man, is
is it like going bad right in front of our eyes?
I mean maybe it's the concussions. I mean the concussion.
Maybe that's what it is. I don't know, but just
(10:17):
watching it, it was like did we watch a shift?
You know that Sometimes I can recall him when we
were talking about who was rush playing for the Cowboys's like, oh,
he gets in there right after Dak goes out. He's
having all kinds of success. You know, you don't generally
get an opportunity when when a guy comes in for
(10:37):
a limited amount of time because it's such a small
sample size. To be able to see if it's sustainable
or not. You know, that's the biggest thing about when
you're playing playing at the professional level and somewhat even
at the college level, can you sustain success Once people
have film on you, they have book on you, and
then they're coming. They know to come after you. Like
(10:58):
brock Perty is now a target. He's not just mister irrelevant.
He's like one of the hotter players at the position
in the league right now, whether you think he's system
or not. So I hope that's what it is, because
he looked like his trajectory was higher and is going
to go high. But it also looked like, I mean,
(11:19):
was it a riddle that was figured out? We were
in the course of that game.
Speaker 6 (11:22):
We were talking about it on Tuesday that you know,
the sharks were in the water, they were waiting for
anything to try and bite down and go with there.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
Well, brock Perty's system quarterback. He got exposed, et cetera,
et cetera, et cetera. He was playing pretty decent before that,
you know, the week before obviously was a struggle. But
then if you do find out, okay, well he took
a big hit or maybe a couple of big hits
makes a more more fea. It does seem like that's
more of a plausible reason as to why maybe he
(11:51):
struggled down the stretch.
Speaker 4 (11:52):
You know, it is two games that they lost back
to back, and it's interesting, curious they scored seventeen points
in both games, so they're not even breaking twenty, you know,
with with their offensive production, they hit the same number
two weeks in a row. I mean, I don't know
what core you know, what conclusion to draw from that,
other than say there wasn't very much offense and there
(12:16):
has been injuries, so I get it. Not just brock Pardy.
You know, you got key injuries to the team, so
maybe they're just banged up right now, but it does
I don't know. I mean, if I'm a forty nine
Ers fan, my question to you guys would be, should
you be concerned with a two game skit and now
he's in concussion protocol? Maybe he clears, maybe he doesn't.
(12:37):
Do you have confidence in Donald? And if party clears
and comes back, do you have confidence that he's going
to be better? That would be the question I'd be asking.
I think if I'm a Niners.
Speaker 6 (12:45):
Fan, it sucks for Brock Party, but I'm fascinated to
see what Sam Donald looks like in this offense.
Speaker 1 (12:51):
Like, I really want to see how this plays out
with him. I mean, this is the best he's had
to work with. I mean, even if Deebo Samuel is out,
you know, he's got Christian McCaffrey. Like, we haven't seen
Sam Donald with all the tools that a Brock Party
has had to work with. And this is somebody that
everybody loved coming out of college. It was a top
three pick. So I'm curious to see what that looks
(13:11):
like when it comes to Sam Donald potentially shooting up
this weekend. And it's a good game against the Cincinnati Bengals,
so it's gonna be a fun one to watch.
Speaker 4 (13:20):
Not an easy game.
Speaker 2 (13:21):
Yeah, tough one.
Speaker 7 (13:22):
Tough one, A tough one, especially considering, you know, playoff consideration.
Speaker 2 (13:25):
Some people think was it Albert Breer. Some had this
as a Super Bowl prection.
Speaker 4 (13:29):
Yeah, you have three lots, the third loss staring you
right in the face, like right down in the face, like,
hey bitch, I'm right here. Look at me. Wow, I'm
your third loss. Ain't I look at me? Look at me?
I did this to you. So they got some stage
guest something to play for it, because the Bengals are
(13:49):
still trying to play their way back up into the
light too. You got two teams, one is on a
two game skin and you got a team that's trying
to climb back off of week off of bye wee. Yeah,
that should be hard. Yeah, so it's.
Speaker 1 (14:03):
Gonna be uh I win though, fun to see how
that one plays out here. Gut feeling who you guys
got in that game. I mean, if you had to,
if you had to right now, I'll.
Speaker 2 (14:10):
Take the Bengals.
Speaker 7 (14:11):
I mean I picked this game back when those Bengals
the points at five and a half. What's the line
of out two and a half.
Speaker 4 (14:16):
Three and a half, three and a half, yeah, plus
three and a half.
Speaker 2 (14:19):
I think I'm still going to take the Bengals until
that line gets below three. I think I think I'd
still take the Bengals.
Speaker 1 (14:24):
See, that's smart shopping. That's just smart shopping telling me
man it is. That's just like I'm gonna just let
you have his prediction. I'm gonna just wait until we
do our over unders and stuff.
Speaker 2 (14:37):
You're not ready to spread them.
Speaker 4 (14:38):
I'm not ready to spread them yet. Nope, I'm not
going to be that easy at three fifteen six, fifteen
years makes sense? All that's not going to do it.
Who knows. We'll see how it turn is much easier
than you keep it closed do this, yeah, closed up, Yeah,
I'm quick.
Speaker 1 (14:51):
Doesn't take a lot from me. Hey, nope, I'll spread
them at any point. I mean, you know, we'll see
how this turns out. At the end of the week. Uh,
at the out of your first year, Discover credit cards
automatically double all the cashback you've earned. That's right, everything
you've earned doubled. Seriously see terms and check it out
for yourself at Discover dot com. Forward slash Match. So
we are gonna have the usuals coming up here on
the show. We're gonna have another edition of In case
(15:13):
you missed it. We've got some over unders looking ahead
to the game tonight in the NFL. We've also got
you in of you out. Albert Breer is gonna stop by.
I mean he's gonna be He's probably gonna be feeling great.
I mean it's gonna be obnoxious to hear from Albert Breer.
With the Michigan scandal and the Penn State game last
week as in Ohio State. Alum, all that stuff is
yours here and this three hour extravaganza from the ti
(15:35):
raq dot Com studios. But coming up next, it can't
get worse for one team in the NFL, can it.
We'll answer that question right here on FSR.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
Be sure to.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
Catch live editions of Two Pros and a Cup of
Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington and Jonas Knox weekdays
at six am Eastern three am Pacific on Fox Sports
Radio and the iHeartRadio.
Speaker 4 (16:00):
Wow, the thrill of it.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
Calling.
Speaker 4 (16:10):
Now, this is the best part right here. You know,
the best part of this song really is when it
goes when it goes off.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
Sam would like this kind of music.
Speaker 4 (16:33):
Oh, this is pool music right here. Let me tell
you something. It ain't a bad looking pool either.
Speaker 1 (16:38):
Me.
Speaker 4 (16:38):
That's why. That's why I sticks in my memory so well.
I have great memories connected to this song.
Speaker 1 (16:47):
What pool we talking about?
Speaker 4 (16:49):
That that newdest pool in the Vegas Oh my god,
that's music. Well they call it the Europeans. You're adult, Yeah,
the European Pool, whatever it is. I didn't know I
had stepped into the stepped I tripped had something in
my eyeball, and I was like, oh my gosh, what
is that? Oh gosh, can you can you cover that up?
(17:12):
It's poking people and I when you walk by, I
found out that that pool was very dangerous, very quickly.
People walking in, people walking into lounger chair, recliner chairs. Oh,
because they ain't paying attention to where they walking. You
see so many funny things at the European Pool.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
Man.
Speaker 4 (17:35):
Yeah, well, pool season's over.
Speaker 2 (17:37):
No, it's not.
Speaker 4 (17:40):
It's over in Buffalo. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (17:42):
Oh, it is two pros and a cup of Joe.
Here on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinns, Jonas
Knox with you coming up twenty minutes from now from
the tire rack dot Com studios. Apparently we could be
on the brink of a fire sale in the NFL.
We've got the details on that for you here again
twenty minutes from now. But we do have Week eight
(18:03):
in the NFL kicking off later on tonight. We've got
the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the Buffalo Bills right now
on DraftKings. The Buffalo Bills are eight and a half
point favorites. This game will kick off at eight fifteen
Eastern time on Amazon Prime Video. And so there's been
some discussion about, you know, what should the Bills do.
They're obviously banged up on defense. The offensively they struggled.
(18:26):
They struggled a couple of weeks ago against the Giants
on Sunday Night Football. Then they lose to the awful
Patriots last week. Well, Josh Allen, the quarterback of the Bills,
he's got an idea.
Speaker 9 (18:36):
Let's take a listen, just trying to stay you know,
in this in this state called low positive, where you
know your energy is not super high and you're allowing
your mind to think and be free and just just
you know, stay on top of everything. Because obviously, as
a quarterback, there's lot of things going through our mind.
So if I can limit you know, myself and my
energy and my heart rate, I feel like I can.
(18:56):
I can maybe think a little bit more. Who knows,
maybe I need to think a little bit less and
just play football.
Speaker 4 (19:03):
Well that don't clear it up. I mean, he confused
himself in his quote, right, right, do.
Speaker 2 (19:09):
You really want me to this is all like sports
psychologists stuff. Do you really want to get into it?
Why not?
Speaker 4 (19:14):
Let's go.
Speaker 7 (19:15):
I mean, obviously what he's talking about is it's fairly simple.
Everyone can understand this. When you start straining in the
manner in which you're thinking, it elevates your heart rate.
When it elevates your heart rate, you use more auxygen.
When you use more oxygen, you need oxygen to go
different parts of your body instead.
Speaker 2 (19:31):
Of your brain.
Speaker 7 (19:32):
All right, So when you have a calm level heart rate,
your brain is able to absorb the maximum amount of
oxygen from your body. So you're able to think more
clearly now what he's talking about. What he said initially
as far as his brain state, there's something about flow.
Have you ever heard of flow? Like, have you ever
had one of those days when you felt like you
(19:55):
were just kind of operating a high level in your
everyday life, but you you didn't necessarily know why, you
couldn't attribute to one specific thing.
Speaker 2 (20:03):
Typically that's called flow.
Speaker 7 (20:05):
You're you're in a flow state where you were operating
at a maximum level for you in whatever it may be,
and it's too oftentimes to being.
Speaker 2 (20:16):
And this is how it's kind of phrased. That sounds
kind of intuitive, But Jesus consciously unconscious, does that make sense?
Speaker 4 (20:27):
You too? Okay? Really, consciously yes, yes, go ahead, locked
in yes, consciously unconscious.
Speaker 2 (20:38):
I'm done now.
Speaker 4 (20:38):
No, I'm done this, you too, take it? And so
that's dope right there? Man? That was it?
Speaker 2 (20:45):
No, there's more.
Speaker 4 (20:46):
I want more. I want more there. I was like,
all I was just giving my thoughts. When I ask me,
I'm an idiot, what do I know about when I
feel balanced well and flows? It's like, you know, as
I'm motivated, Yeah, you take it that. I'm inspired, you know,
(21:06):
feeling real, real, you know rambunctions.
Speaker 1 (21:09):
So this is sports psychology talk to where would you
sit down with somebody they try and get you in
this state because they feel like you'll play better. I mean,
is that is that a real thing?
Speaker 4 (21:19):
Does that? Doesn't Kirk Cousins do that? Like, wasn't that
on the TV show?
Speaker 2 (21:23):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (21:23):
I do like different things, different exercises or whatever. I
don't know. I think you definitely have to be mentally balanced,
especially for I mean, I wouldn't say just one position,
but there is a lot of mental aspects that are
connected to playing the quarterback's position obviously. I mean everyone
everyone knows that. So when you aren't balanced and when
(21:46):
you're overthinking things, it could go a whole lot of
different directions. When you're overthinking things, you start forcing things,
You start making decisions that you second guess, like nobody
if you're just thinking in general terms. When you're second
guessing the decisions that you make in like everyday life,
and you're you're just you know, you're pushing for it,
(22:07):
it generally doesn't work out. Like I'll give you a
great example, like when you're gambling. You ever think about
like when you're at like a blackjack table or you're
at craps table or roulette table and you you're like
in in in a like a state of panic or
in a state of just not consciously unconscious. You know, yeah,
(22:27):
I mean you you start messing up. Then before you
know it, all your money's gone. And that's generally how
that that it happens, and it happens in sports as well.
Story of my gambling life. Well there you go. I
know what that sidees like, you know, you don't want
to overthink things, man, because when you start overthinking things,
your body like reacts to that, Like to Q's point, like,
(22:48):
your your body isn't you know, it isn't in balance.
You haven't hit the flow. You haven't you don't have
your chi. You know, that's just it is what it is,
is that what it's called your chi. Isn't that balance?
Isn't that equilibrium?
Speaker 2 (23:01):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (23:03):
Achieving chi? I don't know it works.
Speaker 1 (23:05):
It feels like it's a little it feels like there's
a lot. There's like a sense of panic in Buffalo,
like they're.
Speaker 4 (23:13):
In second place right now, I mean behind Miami. Miami
is pretty good, but this is this is a big game.
Both both teams have I mean, Tampa's in second place
behind Atlanta. This this is one of those games where
it's it's a step up game both both teams. I
mean it's out of out of conference, you know, out
(23:34):
of division, but it's a step up game because you know,
both of these teams are kind of like teetering right there.
One team is at five hundred, the other team is
one game above five hundred. You know, Buffalo had that
disappointing loss. Can they bounce back? It's a big week,
this is this is one of those Thursday games is
going to be competitive. I wouldn't have thought that this
would have been a fun game to watch, but this
(23:56):
actually is a game that you would really want to watch.
I think it's going to be very competitive.
Speaker 1 (24:00):
Yeah, this game's going to be a wipe out. There's
no shot in hell Buffalo doesn't cover the eight and
a half points. This is going to be a wipe out.
This will be a double digit. Will make you say
that Tampa Bay's got no chance because Buffalo's got it.
If they're the team everybody thinks they are, they've got
to respond, Like there's got to be something within the building.
It's like, all right, we just we just look like
crap against the Giants. You know, some would argue we
(24:21):
should have lost that game, and then we go to
New England and we looked awful against the terrible Patriots.
Like this is an opportunity on a short week to
get a Tampa Bay team. By the way, what Baker
Mayfield's got? What Brady is it a shoulder issue? Like
doesn't he he was a little banged up, he was questionable,
he was on the.
Speaker 2 (24:39):
He's got a shoulder issue.
Speaker 1 (24:41):
So like a short week on the road. I mean,
if you're the if you're the Bills, you've got to
lay the hammer. And I think they're going to do it.
I think they're going to do it minus eight and
a half.
Speaker 4 (24:50):
What do you think of that? What do you guys
think of that? Bet there? I mean, you think they're
going to cover cue.
Speaker 7 (24:56):
I think every time they have an issue like this
and they go back home home, it's usual when they
get right. But I don't know, man, They've they've lost
a lot of pieces on defense. They you know, Dawson
Knox is doubtful to go in this one at Olvera
was questionable too. They just they've sustained so many injuries.
I mean that being said, Tampa's looked pretty bad the
past two weeks as well, so Chris Godwin's dealing with
(25:19):
the head injury. We'll see if he can go. If
he can go, I don't know. I think the Bills win.
I just eight and a half for how the Bucks
looked early on and what they can be seems like
a lot, which made me kind of leary of wanting
to take the points. And I also think it's late
enough now in the season where that short week like
(25:41):
plays much more of an advantage to the home team
because guys just kind of banged up and having a
hard time recovering. So I could definitely see the Bills
just thrown all over there the Bucks secondary. But I
also could see a scenario where Tampa kind of keeps
it close in a low scoring game, Like I kind
of like the under the as the best play, and
(26:02):
then I think, if you think it's gonna hit the under,
you also have to kind of take the eight and
a half points. I think it's gonna be a closer game,
at least in my opinion.
Speaker 4 (26:09):
Forty three and a half is where the totals at
right now in this game.
Speaker 1 (26:12):
Who's uh, Who's Prisco? Got?
Speaker 4 (26:14):
Pete Prisco? You and him were always a button head picks?
Speaker 2 (26:17):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (26:17):
He actually uh, he just said, which, by the way,
are are We were awful last week? So Pete awful?
Speaker 2 (26:23):
Last week? We actually had a guy go Ohen thirteen.
No he didn't, I swear to God, which is tough
to do.
Speaker 7 (26:30):
Ryan Wilson, who's one of our main draft experts, went
Ohen thirteen, which is equally impressive. It's going thirteen and ugh, wait,
if you tried to miss every single pick, you couldn't.
You'd luck into a few wins.
Speaker 4 (26:43):
Like he wait a second, like it did feel like
do you have behind jonas?
Speaker 1 (26:47):
Well?
Speaker 4 (26:48):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (26:48):
I mean I've never done that. I've never gone ohen thirteen.
I've gone one in twelve, but I've never done an
OH in thirteen week. I'm just trying to figure out, like,
how could he possibly think I mean actual actually you know,
upon further review. Yeah, looking at some of the matchups.
Speaker 7 (27:05):
Yeah, I mean, if I'm not mistaken, I think you
had five home underdogs win out right.
Speaker 1 (27:12):
I mean he liked the Lions getting points against Baltimore.
I love Baltimore in that game.
Speaker 2 (27:17):
No, look, I like the Lions too. Keeping that thing closed.
That line was what three took. The Lions have played
well up to that point.
Speaker 1 (27:24):
Arizona plus nine at Seattle.
Speaker 4 (27:26):
He took Arizona on that spot.
Speaker 2 (27:28):
He did divisional game.
Speaker 7 (27:29):
Historically those two have been rather close actually when they've
played geez geez.
Speaker 1 (27:34):
Well, I mean, you know then Denver and green Bay
probably the worst game of the weekend. Yeah, that's that's
not ideal. But yeah, I've never gone, never gone on thirteen.
Speaker 2 (27:44):
Well, there's always OH in sixteen. So I think he's
trying to you know, one up himself this week.
Speaker 4 (27:49):
Now.
Speaker 1 (27:49):
There is there was a sports book that I used
to gamble through. When you know, when I first started
to where they would do this thing if you did
a five leg parlay and every single leg leg Yeah,
so it's a five parlay right legs. So the five
leg parlays you need five different bets to hit and
it pays out a bunch. But if but they would
(28:11):
offer it up that if you were so bad and
you did a five leg parlay, hey, reimbursion and none
of them hit reimbursion and I got reimbursed twice.
Speaker 4 (28:21):
You're proud of that? Well, yeah, you just show someone.
Speaker 2 (28:24):
That's actually like a brilliant strategy, because I bet, what
do you think do you think it's what ninety percent
of the time?
Speaker 7 (28:35):
Was that fair to say you're either winning the five
game parlay or you're losing all five.
Speaker 2 (28:40):
I mean maybe it's less than that, might be like
ninety five percent of the time.
Speaker 1 (28:43):
I would say, normally you're you're.
Speaker 2 (28:45):
Doing anything between those two.
Speaker 4 (28:47):
When do y'all make time to come up with all
of this like information that that you guys are spitting out.
Speaker 7 (28:53):
I'm just here's the thing is, I'm just guessing, Like
I'm guessing what the odds would be where like if
you had a bell curve right, like what percentage of time.
Do you get the I'm missing all five in the
parlay and I'm hitting all five? Is that like two
and a half percent on each side?
Speaker 4 (29:08):
As I think it's more likely you would miss everyone
than you would hit everyone.
Speaker 2 (29:15):
Boy, it's I mean, it's probably actually mathematically equal. I
don't know.
Speaker 4 (29:20):
There's too many numbers for me. Yeah, lost me like
three minutes.
Speaker 1 (29:23):
Well, okay, but the gambling stuff, like Brady loves the numbers.
Speaker 4 (29:28):
I love the action. Yeah, I love the lingo.
Speaker 1 (29:33):
I did, but I love it. I love getting off
the stool and being like, you know what, I'll be
a part.
Speaker 2 (29:38):
Of this one.
Speaker 4 (29:38):
You have so much gambling lingo and don't ever win?
Like that seems ass backwards. He made well, you know,
like those those who can't play teach. You know, there's
a lot of coaches in the NFL that they couldn't
lace anybody's cleats on a field, but you know what,
they've got a mind for it. So I look at it.
Speaker 1 (29:56):
So I'm one of those guys. You know, I could
never play, but you know, I know, but you're not
because you don't win. Yeah that's but I can talk.
Speaker 4 (30:03):
You're saying those coaches they can talk about it, but
they don't win either.
Speaker 1 (30:07):
Yeah, they can't play. It's fun, man, it's so much fun.
I'm telling you, how is it fun losing? But it's
but it's it's just watching the board, like seeing the movement,
seeing you know what, like trends.
Speaker 2 (30:21):
It's like his stock ticker. It's like the same thing
for Jonas.
Speaker 4 (30:25):
Yeah, so needs any of that. I've been watching Billions. Man,
it's getting good. Jesus takes some turns, it does. Yeah. Yeah,
he just he just won attorney General. You know, if
you remember the show, how many seasons are you into it?
Speaker 1 (30:41):
Now?
Speaker 4 (30:42):
Like almost through four. I'm at the end of how
is his personal life? Which one?
Speaker 1 (30:48):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (30:49):
Axel he's he's dealing with that that the other person
that he's got a new new lady.
Speaker 2 (30:55):
Yeah, so's he's divorced.
Speaker 4 (30:56):
Now yeah yeah, yeah, but but what's his name Charles
or what is his name been?
Speaker 2 (31:04):
Lawyer?
Speaker 4 (31:05):
Chuck? Yeah, Chuck, yeah, Chuck, Chuck. Just Chuck went front
the whole whole world and told him that, you know,
he likes to get his ass one. That's where I'm
at right there. She's really upset with him.
Speaker 2 (31:20):
I mean, you're in it you're in it for his wife.
Speaker 4 (31:23):
Huh huh. She's pretty. She ain't bad, brother, she got
super five, she's got yeah, she's got that balance, that
that that conscious unconscious damn right. I mean, you know
it's all about balance. You know who needs balance?
Speaker 1 (31:36):

That's the name, baby, guys, In case you missed this.
Albert Breer in his recent mailbag for Sports Illustrated, Uh, Hayley,
Hey Brady, I believe he's talked about this with us
about he believes that Broncos should cut bait with Russell Wilson.
But he's also added in his uh his recent article
that the Broncos are officially listening to offers for six
(34:15):
of their top starters, those including All Pro quarterback Patrick
tirtan Star Whiteout's Jerry Judy, Courtland Sutton. We got Garrett Bowles,
Josie Jewel, and Justin Simmons in there as well.
Speaker 4 (34:26):
Oh wow, they see everybody decent. Yes, Okay, that's good.
That is a fire sale.
Speaker 1 (34:33):
Do you think do you think Sean Payton knew that
this is what he was going to get when he
signed up with the gig.
Speaker 4 (34:38):
No, man, he thought he was going to be undefeated
by now.
Speaker 1 (34:43):
It seems like it's a far cry from what you know,
maybe he was expecting coming into the season.
Speaker 4 (34:49):
I just wonder, I just wonder what his what his
thoughts are on the organization at this point.
Speaker 1 (34:54):
I mean, if they're in an if they have an opportunity,
they're drafted a quarterback this year, right, like one these
top quarterbacks, I.
Speaker 4 (35:02):
Would assume, No, how are they getting away from Russell Wilson?
Speaker 2 (35:08):
How are you getting away me a trade?
Speaker 4 (35:11):
You think somebody's going trade for with the value or No, I'm.
Speaker 2 (35:15):
Not saying that, but I mean that's one way if
you would.
Speaker 7 (35:17):
I guess they could just outright release them if they
don't feel like they have a trade partner with it.
Speaker 2 (35:24):
It would be expensive.
Speaker 1 (35:26):
What would what would it take like if a team
offered a second round pick for Russell Wilson?
Speaker 4 (35:31):
Would you do the deal? If you're Denver, I wouldn't
offer a second round pick? Really, what's he worth a third?
Speaker 2 (35:39):
Fourth?
Speaker 4 (35:39):
He's played better probably like a fourth actor. Yeah, but
I'm going, I'm going for value. I'll offer a third,
maybe a third. I'll offer a third, you think, but
then you got to take on his contract. I don't
want to take on his contract. Man, what a mess
that's turned. So I think there's the problem. Nobody's going
to want to take on that.
Speaker 7 (36:00):
Can we talk about just the idea that you know,
when your season doesn't go well, they're not that far
out of it right now, but just the fact that,
like you would get rid of or listen to getting
rid of every single player on your team. I mean,
it just seems a bit odd, Like in what other
industry would a company be like, all right, having a
(36:22):
down year, who are six top people, Let's see if
we can get rid of these folks and we'll just
start over.
Speaker 2 (36:27):
Like it's so random compared to everything else in the world.
Speaker 1 (36:32):
I'm sure that would be close to tanking, correct, I mean,
not that the players left would be well, I'll put it.
Speaker 2 (36:40):
There, Okay, I'll just throw this out there. Okay.
Speaker 7 (36:43):
They moved on from Randy Gregory, they moved on from
Frank Clark. Their defense has been the best it's been
the past two weeks. I mean, I think that the
general story is Sean Payton. This crew probably think, Look,
if we're not winning football games with the guys that
were paying a lot or want to be paid a lot,
then there's no point trying to keep them, Like, we
(37:04):
might as well go find guys who are cheaper they
can get the same results or better.
Speaker 4 (37:09):
Yeah, odd Lee, what do we got guys?
Speaker 10 (37:11):
In case you missing Mels Garrett, he's building on his portfolio.
Earlier in the year invested in a major league pick
a ball team. Well, yesterday was announced that he is
finalized the deal to purchase a minority stake in the
Cleveland Cavaliers.
Speaker 2 (37:24):
Nice.
Speaker 4 (37:25):
What percentage That has not been disclosed.
Speaker 2 (37:28):
I mean, it depends on his investment, depends on what
their valued at. Either way, it's still awesome. It's still awesome.
Speaker 4 (37:34):
Guys are thank you.
Speaker 7 (37:35):
Yeah, and that's something that like whatever he just put
that money in at, it's only going to go up
over time.
Speaker 1 (37:42):
Calves are fun last year too, Yeah, and then they
got to the playoffs and it was disappointing, just saying.
Speaker 2 (37:50):
Yeah, you know, it was more disappointed the Dodgers or
the Calves.
Speaker 4 (37:55):
The Dodgers. Okay, how about that, apples It's so fun.
Speaker 1 (38:00):
What else we got?
Speaker 10 (38:01):
Got an update from the Rams on Twitter La RAMS
transactions delivered Jordan John McVeigh. Congratulations to the McVay family
for the birth of their son.
Speaker 4 (38:09):
Hey, congrat, congrat
