weird one in the NFL.
Speaker 3 (01:24):
Did you think so?
Speaker 1 (01:25):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:26):
Got weird?
Speaker 4 (01:27):
It was It's Halloween. It's Halloween time and costumes and
goobs and goblins come out to play, and you know
some sometimes you just have you know, chiefs. They decide
not to deal with broncos and put them back in
and you know, coral them and put them back into
(01:50):
you know where they're supposed to be to graze and all.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
It's uh.
Speaker 2 (01:54):
I also think no teams on a buy this week
was kind of a weird little twist in the scale
because normally when the bye weeks start, there's teams on
a buy every single week, and this week there was none.
And I don't really know why that was the it
was the place or why that was the time they
decided to go ahead and do that. But nonetheless, no
team's on a bye and it was a weird one.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
But I'll say this, a.
Speaker 4 (02:17):
Lot of turnovers, man, Yeah, sloppy football, A lot of turnovers.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
Your boy brock party.
Speaker 4 (02:23):
Man, he's trying to be turning it over.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
Now.
Speaker 1 (02:27):
Is that the bigger story?
Speaker 2 (02:28):
Or is it that the Cincinnati Bengals are back because
Cincinnati looks like they found something. Joe Burrow actually looks
healthy for the first time in a long time.
Speaker 4 (02:37):
And or is the bigger story that could San Francisco
be in trouble?
Speaker 1 (02:43):
I don't know, yeah, but I mean you were now
you have been pounding the table.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
By the way, Justin Cooper Cooper is a Browns fan like, no,
he's a Broncos like he's sitting in it with in
a Carl Mecklenburg jersey and the other studio.
Speaker 3 (02:59):
How the hell did.
Speaker 1 (02:59):
Y'all won that game? Man, that's the biggest story. It's
not that big of a story. We're gonna I mean,
we'll get to it for sure, But say.
Speaker 4 (03:07):
If the sun shines on a blind dog's ass, at
least one time in its life. That's I have heard
that bank bank. They said a blind squirrel finds an
acorn at least one time, and it's like that, That's
just what I heard. But I as soon have to
find more starvation. Yeah, maybe get ate up. But I
don't understand how the Broncos won this game, even on
a Kansas City down day. I just don't. I don't
(03:30):
get it. How did they defense Patrick Mahomes and this
this Kansas City Chiefs team the way that they did,
this same team that gave up seventy points to the
Miami Dolphins.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
Well he was sick. I mean, is that what we're
going with? And Patrick Mahomes is sick? Of course? Come on?
Speaker 4 (03:45):
What type of flu? Bronco flu?
Speaker 2 (03:48):
Yeah, I don't know what it was? Mile high flu,
mouth high, I'm sure is a real thing. For a
shout out to all you potheads out there, I'm sure
you have the mile high flu.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (03:56):
Did brock Party have the mal high flu for the
second week in a row? What he had going on?
Speaker 2 (04:01):
Since they've beaten the Dallas Cowboys, which feels like a
long time ago on Sunday Night football, they have not
looked the same and look you know, circumstances dictate how
these games go. There was the game against Cleveland. We
obviously understand that. Then you know last Monday night, you know,
he may or may not have been concussed in that game,
(04:22):
and you know, finished the game, and did you know
threw a couple of picks late in that game after
suffering the concussion reportedly, And then yesterday. I never got
the feeling watching that game. And I don't know how
you felt about LeVar. I never got the feeling that
the Niners were going to be able to keep up
with Cincinnati.
Speaker 4 (04:42):
There was a moment maybe a second or third quarter.
I'm not sure to be exact, it's a little blurry
and watching all the games, but I just I just
it's a little blurry, yeah, little, just a tad big
good morning to yea. I just I was, I was
watching and there were moments where I was like, Okay,
(05:05):
brock is is serving it. It might have been the
third quarter he was serving it, and it looked as
though they could climb back into the game. But it
just always seemed like Burrow had an answer. And then
there were just what maybe a critical, untimely mistake made
(05:29):
by by the forty nine ers, like they give up
something on defense, a big play on defense or on offense.
You know, they find a way to move the ball,
get a good play, make a big play, and they
just couldn't they couldn't catch them. Just didn't seem like
they could catch.
Speaker 1 (05:47):
Not against those Bengals.
Speaker 5 (05:48):
No, they're bad, not playing at that level, right, Like,
like that offense, that's it's Kansas City, it's Cincinnati, it's
I'm not really sure who else falls in that case
category when they're clicking on all cylinders. Maybe you say
the Eagles, especially the way Aj Brown's playing right now,
But that offense is just it's tough to match up,
(06:11):
it's tough to stop.
Speaker 3 (06:12):
I mean that being said.
Speaker 6 (06:14):
I would have thought the forty nine ers well with
I think with Debo, I think with Debo entering, maybe
it's different. I guess right like that that he might.
He would gives you so many different issues.
Speaker 5 (06:26):
And I actually thought Brock with the exception of a
couple of the picks, like he played well, like he
really did mean let him be rushing.
Speaker 3 (06:32):
He kind of did a little bit of everything.
Speaker 5 (06:34):
Like I thought, if you were concerned about it in
the past, couple of weeks, like, he probably alleviated a
lot of that concern.
Speaker 3 (06:40):
I think this.
Speaker 5 (06:41):
Game for you if you're a forty nine Ers fan,
because I know that was like a narrative too, right,
because he played so well going into you know, a
couple of weeks ago, and then once they you know,
kind of went on this three game skid. The first
two losses, You're going, all right, we didn't play as well.
He played well in this one. It was just, you know,
the best right now I think are to me, a
(07:02):
team that's red hot. I don't think anyone wants to
play the Cincinati Bengals right now like that. To be
that offense the way they're playing, to the defense the
way they've been all year, that's a that's a dangerous team.
Speaker 4 (07:14):
Now they look pretty good. Man, defense looked pretty good.
I still felt as though San Francisco had the opportunity
to do something with it. Let me ask you a question,
because I thought this like and I thought I thought
Party did play well for the most part. But I
was just wondering, Like I had a kid when I
(07:36):
was coaching. It was my rookie year as a head coach,
and he had a really really nice arm, real real
good arm talent for for high school ball. And at first,
you know, during seven on seven league, he threw the
ball really really well, like was serving them. We get
(07:57):
to the season, same thing.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
Is going on.
Speaker 4 (08:00):
He's doing really well. Then he has a game where
it kind of it didn't go well for him. He
threw some interceptions and I almost felt like he never
recovered from.
Speaker 6 (08:15):
It.
Speaker 4 (08:16):
Almost was like he started that moment of second guessing
or or that moment of pause like maybe am I
making the right decision here? Kept leading to the same
type of results. I almost felt like because Party was
throwing the interceptions almost to the same exact place, and
(08:36):
it's almost like, is there a moment of doubt, Like
is Perty having moments of doubt? You know that that
moment of pause that's allowing for a defender to be
able to read underneath, because these are linebackers that are
are making these plays against against Purty. It's it's not
necessarily like he's throwing a bad deep ball. It's like
(08:56):
a read in the middle of the field that that
he's getting getting picked off. I just wonder, do you
think that maybe he's second guessing, Maybe he didn't have
that type of I don't want to say fear, but
maybe pause, you know, throwing the ball early on. But
as as more pressure gets on him now to be
the type of quarterback that you know, everybody thinks he
(09:18):
is or or they want him to be or what
they've seen, maybe he's putting a little bit more pressure
on himself than thinking a little bit too long, I
would ask you, I mean, I could be totally off,
but I just feel like there's like a moment of pause,
and it's giving guys, it's giving defenders the opportunity to
get in front of his passes.
Speaker 3 (09:38):
I mean, I think if.
Speaker 5 (09:38):
That's as far as the stuff over the middle, I mean,
I said this last week one he might have been
he might have been concussed based on the reports and
everything of what we saw in the previous game, and
then this week, you know, as far as like picks
over the middle, like that's usually what interception interceptions happen.
Like if you're looking at a young quarterback and you're
(09:59):
trying a diagram where a quarterback is, you know, I
would say push to throw when he's early on in
his career, it's outside, it's down the field, you know,
outside or down the middle, and then it's you know,
behind the line of scrimmage to the outsides. Like if
you really want to try to avoid putting him in
(10:21):
dangerous way, it's having him throw against zone coverage over
the middle or man coverage.
Speaker 3 (10:28):
Like there's a lot of bodies in there.
Speaker 5 (10:29):
There's a lot of people who could tip the football,
could put it into harm's way. And so if you
look at most guys interceptions that most of them come
in the middle.
Speaker 3 (10:38):
Of the field.
Speaker 5 (10:39):
So I don't know that there's there's much to draw
from it, honestly, Like I kind of feel like last
week they were down, he had to make some risky
throws for them to come back, and he made some
poor throws at the end of the game that ended
up beeting picked off. You know, this week it kind
of felt like Morey was more of a duel. Maybe
he didn't see some of that too. I mean, he's
not the tallest guy. It's only about six to one,
(11:01):
so there could be some times where he's not always
seeing two guys dropping out, guys moving around that turn
into that. So again I don't think he feels the
pressure of it. He made some ridiculous.
Speaker 1 (11:13):
He made some plays.
Speaker 5 (11:14):
Now, he made some ridiculous plays. He made some ridiculous plays.
Like if anything, I think he more is unflappable. Like
when I watch him, like it doesn't feel like he's
bothered by much of anything. So yeah, I'm not. I
don't know if it's the I wouldn't say it's the
pressure of anything. He's he seems pretty cool and calm
(11:34):
for how he handles himself.
Speaker 2 (11:35):
I was just surprised to see him out there because
I thought for sure he was going to miss this game.
Speaker 1 (11:38):
Well, based on well on Twitter doctors.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
Yeah, listen, there's a lot of PhDs on Twitter who
said there's no way he's going to be in this game.
But I also saw people saying, well, you know, he
did take a hit here and he took you know,
his his head. His head struck this place here yesterday
and he's still finished stri ground it did. Yeah, Well,
I mean a lot of guys' heads are striking against.
Speaker 1 (11:59):
Well, that's very true too.
Speaker 4 (12:01):
There are a lot of guys I like striking with
their heads I mean or by accident.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
Yeah, that's true.
Speaker 2 (12:07):
Now, brock Perty did speak afterwards. Uh, the Niners quarterback
did talk afterwards, just about his symptoms going into the
game and how he felt following the loss.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
I held one hundred percent.
Speaker 7 (12:18):
You know, all week, my symptoms and stuff, while weren't
his back and compared to many other concussions that the
team has had, and I was doing fine, and I
was doing great for each phase of the protocol.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
And then when I got.
Speaker 7 (12:29):
Cleared, all we all thought I was going to get cleared,
and sure enough I did so I fell one hundred
percent going into this game.
Speaker 2 (12:34):
So he was one hundred percent. The concussion is not
an excuse.
Speaker 4 (12:38):
It's three games. That's a three games skit. You can't
get out of the way of a three games.
Speaker 1 (12:42):
No, you can't get out of the way.
Speaker 2 (12:43):
There's no way to get out of it. You can't
get out of the way of the fact that somebody's
got to beat. The Cincinnati Bengals are back. They are back,
and there's a lot of people on this show who
owe them an apology. Now I did not say that
they were I did not, right.
Speaker 5 (12:56):
It's like who on the show deserves the play? I
picked them with the Super Bowl this year. Well, trust me,
I wasn't writing them off.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
You know, maybe I might have written them off a
couple of weeks. Yeah, are you kidding me? Already had
their toe tags printed. I just think it's more. I
think a lot of people expected the Bengals to to
start climbing what they're clawing their way back to what
they're you know what they're doing.
Speaker 4 (13:20):
Yeah you saw that my Again. I think the biggest
story here is the fall off of the Niners.
Speaker 1 (13:28):
I mean, three.
Speaker 4 (13:29):
Games in a row should brock pretty be? Ben, you're
talking about one of the hottest. You're talking about one
of the hottest. I mean, don't think that it didn't.
It is not crossing people's minds. I'm just being I mean,
I'm not I'm not saying that. I'm saying that, But
I don't think that that's not somebody. I mean, I mean,
maybe not yours, But you don't think people are sitting
(13:51):
there wondering what what Sam Darnold would do. But I mean,
I don't know. All I know is they've lost three
game straight. Where's the blame?
Speaker 3 (14:02):
Lie?
Speaker 1 (14:03):
Where's a lie?
Speaker 6 (14:04):
A lie?
Speaker 4 (14:05):
On injuries?
Speaker 5 (14:06):
They'd say their defense hasn't been as dominant as it's been, right, Like,
let's be real, Like when when Cincinnati need to make a.
Speaker 3 (14:14):
Play, they made a play on the outside.
Speaker 5 (14:17):
I mean, I would I would say this if you're
looking for the weakness of this team, because it is
a loaded roster.
Speaker 3 (14:23):
It's a loaded team.
Speaker 5 (14:25):
If they if they want to get matchups on the outside,
they can, Like that's the truth. If they can't get
pressure up front and get after opposing quarterbacks, you can
find matchups on the outside and covers. So that's that's
what when you look at the Bengals, when you got
t Higgins, you got Jamar Chase, you got Tyler Boyd.
Speaker 8 (14:43):
Like that's three might be the three best in the league.
That's a problem. Deep, that's pretty deep. There's a problem. Uh,
three games in a row. Man for for what was seen?
You hit the bat team, I feel like you're hitting.
Speaker 1 (14:57):
I am. Do you all right?
Speaker 4 (14:58):
Three in a row?
Speaker 3 (14:59):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (14:59):
I am.
Speaker 5 (15:00):
That's I love when I love when you get emotional.
Speaker 2 (15:02):
Yes, Please get this ready for Twitter. I just I
want to make sure because Brady and I are I
think are on the same page here. What we've just
heard is on Twitter, we could just go ahead and
tie this all together. LeVar Arrington says, Kyle Shanahan is
on the hot seat.
Speaker 1 (15:14):
Is that what we're gonna go Okay, Yeah, can I
throw out there? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (15:19):
After watching that game, like, I kind of feel like
that that might.
Speaker 3 (15:22):
Be a super the Super Bowl matchup.
Speaker 2 (15:25):
But I watched the night before the Bengals Niner Super
Bowl from like nineteen eighty eight. They were doing reruns
to get people ready for the matchup, and I wouldn't
mind it. Bengals Niners just bring it all the way back.
I think Albert Breer had that as a super Bowl
pick before this.
Speaker 4 (15:41):
The Niners aren't going to the super Bowl playing the
way that they're playing right now. Damn they're not. They're
not now. They will win the West because there's no
other teams, and I mean shots out to you know,
Seattle first, Seattle shots out to them.
Speaker 1 (15:57):
I don't. I don't.
Speaker 4 (15:58):
Maybe they win it, maybe they're Maybe Seattle does get it.
I think San fran will step up and get the
NFC wes. I think they will. But I do think
that there's costs for concern and they can't continue to
play like this. Whatever it is, if it's the outside
and the matchups, whatever it is.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
Now, I get it. You're not gonna go.
Speaker 4 (16:18):
Up against the Joe Burrow and and that that type
of receiving core every single week. But if if defenses
are able to do with what you just said, Q,
and they can force the funnel party back into the
center of the field and they can get some success
on the outside with their matchups. Maybe it's not as
simple as put simply put as that, but maybe it
(16:39):
could be. It's three games, they've lost three games.
Speaker 3 (16:43):
I love it. I love that, LeVar. It gets it
gets into this. Yeah, I like it.
Speaker 1 (16:47):
I mean, I don't know, man, let's modify that leaf.
We could just how do you fix this? You can
edit those now.
Speaker 5 (16:52):
Just be fine, man, look at depot back.
Speaker 3 (16:55):
They're gonna be rolling down any Trent Wills. I mean,
they'll be They'll be good.
Speaker 1 (16:58):
LeVar Arrington, says Kyle Shannon. She be fine. I don't
know about it.
Speaker 3 (17:01):
I'll put it this way.
Speaker 5 (17:02):
If there's a big old red panic button, are you
pressing it?
Speaker 4 (17:06):
Did I have sanfrad I had the Eagles in the
Super Bowl. I have the Eagles. I have a rematch
of last year's Super Bowl, so I don't need to
hit a panic button. I don't have them in the
super Bowl anyway.
Speaker 5 (17:14):
But do you think San Francisco fans.
Speaker 4 (17:16):
I think San Francisco fans are are I mean, they
got to be questioning how do you lose? How do
you lose three games in a row? Like you remember,
you're not that far removed from playing bro three games
in a row. Yeah, you lose three games in a row,
and you're in that locker room. There's there's some tense,
(17:36):
gut nang moments in that locker room with three games,
Like two games is like all right, fellas, like let's
tighten up.
Speaker 1 (17:43):
You lose three in a row in the league. You
lose three games in a row. A bear fan of
play aside and say hey, what's your secret? Like what's.
Speaker 4 (17:52):
Only three for the competitive teams or at least for
the teams that think they want to be competitive?
Speaker 3 (18:00):
Competitive? Piece either kind of like all right.
Speaker 4 (18:03):
I don't remember them early three wins. They are three
losses in a row.
Speaker 5 (18:07):
You know, here's the thing is, you know, I felt
like we always compartmentalized, like and the NFL is such
a week to week business, it is and almost a
moment to moment like you look at San Francisco and
and if they would next week, like you're you're you're
all your concerns are alleviated.
Speaker 1 (18:27):
At least you hope, yeah, you'd hope.
Speaker 5 (18:30):
Like you look at some other teams, like.
Speaker 4 (18:33):
My Broncos, like the Broncos, the.
Speaker 5 (18:35):
Broncos, right, like, like what they did to me? What
they've been building. Now they got three wins. They just
beat Kansas City. They haven't done in what sixteen games?
Speaker 3 (18:45):
Whatever? It is? Right against the against the.
Speaker 2 (18:49):
Is that how many times they Yeah, they had lost
sixty or fifteen sixty sixteen street.
Speaker 1 (18:55):
Yeah, it's a long time.
Speaker 5 (18:56):
Because I saw someone put out a post and they go, no,
it beats beats the Denver Broncos seventeen times in a
row or something like that. It's like, oh, all right,
I just I feel like you can partmentalize it and
it's a week to week thing, like every game and
it's win every game and its loss has its own,
you know, kind of reasons for a justification.
Speaker 3 (19:17):
Four. I don't know if there's always carry over in
each one.
Speaker 5 (19:19):
I mean, if you go back to Cleveland like that
they could have won, that they hit a field goal,
they win.
Speaker 3 (19:23):
I'm not trying to blame it on just the kicking game, because.
Speaker 5 (19:26):
They had a lot of injuries in that game, but
that was one where you looked at and go, they
hit the field goal, they win the game. It's a
two game skin now, you know, then in each one
you can kind of look at some different mistakes. So
I don't know that you hit the panic button yet,
but you're definitely concerned if there's got to be a concern.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
Now they they're going into the bye week, and then
after that they're at Jacksonville.
Speaker 4 (19:47):
So jack jackstgh and was turned and they said the
terrible Napkins.
Speaker 1 (19:54):
I was offended. Yeah, I was terribly.
Speaker 5 (19:57):
Historically Jacksonville's done really well in Pittsburgh truth which I
tried to I tried to say that like that none
of that matters. Right like the last time they went
up there, I think it was twenty seventeen in one,
and I'm like, well, how many guys in the roster
are still on the team from that team? Probably none, right,
Like it's probably all new players. But some about man
(20:19):
Jacksonvine just went up to Pittsburg. There used to be
divisional rivals, and you can see, man Jacksonville just has
their number.
Speaker 4 (20:24):
See the terrible Napkins. I was so offended. Great they
had them in in a Napkin Dispenser. I couldn't believe it.
What you get is playing around disrespecting that tie. I
know how it felt about that. Man kind of ruined
my sunday.
Speaker 1 (20:41):
Hey, when people disrespect Howles, you know what I.
Speaker 4 (20:43):
Mean, especially Irish boy or in Cleveland.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
Yeah, you gotta be careful. In Houston here used to
be careful.
Speaker 3 (20:48):
Okay, I'm sorry.
Speaker 1 (20:49):
A lot of you know, just sympathetic figure of it.
Just be careful.
Speaker 4 (20:52):
Howles in Houston should be protected. That is true. The
protected definitely is a well.
Speaker 1 (20:57):
It is two pros and a cup of Joe.
Speaker 2 (20:58):
Here on Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonahs,
Knock Simon tow So we are going to have the.
Speaker 1 (21:05):
Coming up later on.
Speaker 2 (21:06):
We've got another edition of In case you missed it,
We've got an FSR IR.
Speaker 1 (21:09):
We're also going to close up shop with you and
a U out. It's all yours here.
Speaker 2 (21:13):
It's a three hour extravaganza on Fox Sports Radio and
from the tire rack dot Com studios. But a team
that was starting to get red hot gets devastating news
in the NFL.
Speaker 1 (21:25):
We'll tell you who that was. That's next.
Speaker 9 (21:27):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 2 (21:44):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here, come
it up. We'll call it less than twenty minutes from
now from the tire rack dot Com studios. You're going
to hear a quarterback in the NFL not waste any
time sticking up for a teammate.
Speaker 1 (22:01):
You gonna stick up for a teammate.
Speaker 2 (22:03):
So that'll be happening here less than twenty minutes from
now here on Fox Sports.
Speaker 5 (22:07):
Well, okay, all right, I want to ask you guys
a question. I was trying to type it before we
actually got on air. Yeah, did you see who was
at the Dallas game yesterday?
Speaker 3 (22:18):
No, I know it wasn't Taylor Swift.
Speaker 1 (22:21):
That was the first name that popped into mind.
Speaker 3 (22:22):
I know, I know that's where you're thinking.
Speaker 4 (22:25):
Everybody said, that's why KC lost yesterday. Though you do
know that that's like the news.
Speaker 5 (22:29):
T Swift wasn't there. Yeah, what was Kelsey's stat line?
Speaker 1 (22:33):
What was it?
Speaker 5 (22:34):
Well, it wasn't as good as when she's there. Like
when she's there, he usually catches for over one hundred yards.
Speaker 4 (22:39):
He's become dependent and so has Kansas City.
Speaker 5 (22:41):
Damn. I mean maybe that's a good thing though, if
you have to be dependent on Taylor Swift, yeah, I guess.
I mean if it's if it's for real, for real,
like he needs to maybe get down on the knee
and propose or.
Speaker 4 (22:50):
Something for real. Maybe he should do it after a touchdown.
Speaker 3 (22:53):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (22:54):
I took a deep dive last night because my wife
threw me like this post that she saw, and one
of the guys from barstool was like breaking down the
social media post of I don't know if it was
Travis Kelsey's side or yeah, had it been Travis Kelsey's
PR team, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (23:11):
Long story short, it seemed.
Speaker 5 (23:13):
Like he was making the case for it not being real,
but that being I'm not here a squash any dreams
out there. So that being said, what I'm more trying
to pick at was did you see who was at
the Dallas Cowboys game.
Speaker 3 (23:25):
In one of the sweets?
Speaker 1 (23:26):
Oh? Who was it?
Speaker 5 (23:28):
Now you could just say, hey, the World Series happens
to be in Texas, so it only makes sense that
a guy like Alex Rodriguez.
Speaker 3 (23:36):
Want to be there.
Speaker 5 (23:36):
Okay, but here's the thing about Alex Rodriguez is he's
a businessman. He's not the business man. He is a
business man.
Speaker 4 (23:45):
Right, He's not a jag. He's just not another business man.
Speaker 5 (23:49):
He when he is somewhere, he's calculated the reason. Yes, sir,
So what you think Dallas?
Speaker 1 (23:57):
Dallas?
Speaker 5 (23:58):
I mean, look, he's got a w he stakes in
the Timberwolves. I think he's gonna be the majority owner
at some point. I would not be shocked at all
if he's not trying to let a at it, trying
to get a piece of the Dallas Cowboys. And you
got to think too, if you're the Jones family, like
there's obviously Jerry and then Steven, and Steven you know
(24:19):
clearly could could run and own this team.
Speaker 3 (24:21):
For a long time.
Speaker 5 (24:23):
But you got to think at some point, like after Steven,
like maybe they're looking for someone to I don't know,
be that buyer. And Alex Rodriguez has a deep, deep pockets,
big time connections, like he could put together groups to
do this sort of thing. And also just so people understand,
there are groups that take up minority stakes and professional
(24:44):
sports franchises and they go around and they do it
with a bunch of teams, bunch of leagues, a bunch
of teams, a bunch of cities. So that's that's kind
of like their thing, like they're special sauce. I just
he would be a great person to partner with.
Speaker 3 (24:59):
I'll leave it at that.
Speaker 1 (25:00):
But maybe, I mean, they are in Arizona.
Speaker 4 (25:03):
There's no performance enhancements that that are necessarily.
Speaker 2 (25:06):
The fact that he the fact that he's stuck around
because they are in Arizona later tonight, that's where the
world series continues. You know, maybe there is something to it, like, hey,
once you stick around, let's talk business, you know, and see, uh,
you know, get a whiff of you know, the awful
l A Rams.
Speaker 4 (25:22):
Maybe maybe it'll play out on Shark Tank. Yeah, maybe
I'll bring him in. As you know, I'm just saying that,
maybe I guess Shark again, and then he'll ask Mark
and Damon and all of them and Laurie they want
to be a part of the group. Mister Wonderful. I
really like Shark Tank.
Speaker 3 (25:41):
By the way, Shark Tank's a great show. You know,
I could see LeVar watching that late night.
Speaker 1 (25:45):
Oh, I watch it all the time, like eating like
some uh, why you think i'd be eating? Telling me,
who are you?
Speaker 5 (25:52):
What were those little pretzel things with the with the
cheese and then like the stuff in them?
Speaker 4 (25:57):
Combo eat some cobbos. I grew up on combos. I'm
not a combos. Fat bugles, I can now. I wouldn't
be on bugles. What would I snack on? That's a
great question. You know what's crazy is is grub Hub
(26:20):
and and uber Eats and all that stuff has it's
your it's your snack. It's like last night I was
I was really hunt My kids were hunger.
Speaker 1 (26:29):
I was hunger. I was like, I can't do it.
Speaker 4 (26:31):
But I got fries Like I was snacking on fries
while I was watching TV last night. Fries Like I
got fat boy Tendencies from Pittsburgh. That's kind of what
they were eating five guys Burgers. I was, what would
I snack on? I'm a big cone bar eater. But
if I'm really like having like like real like bad cravings,
(26:53):
like like I had a chocolate pudding cream pie last
week and it was fire. The pastry part of the
crust was amazing. And I was watching TV while I
was eating a bowl of that yeah, fat boy stuff. Man,
you know, I was feeling.
Speaker 3 (27:12):
Like either dessert or full meals.
Speaker 4 (27:14):
Kind of sort of. I don't really, I can't think
of anything. I like nachos and cheese. I like chips
and cheese, but.
Speaker 5 (27:22):
I feel like you'd make that for yourself if you're at.
Speaker 4 (27:24):
Home, right, Yeah, absolutely, I do that for myself and
watch Shark Tank or Billions. I'm really into this bill had.
Speaker 1 (27:33):
Billions man, finale was last night? Was it last night? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (27:37):
No spoilers though, but yeah, don't spoil me. I'm only
all four. I'm at the end of four, so yeah,
you ever watch it?
Speaker 1 (27:43):
No? Yeah, you should try it.
Speaker 3 (27:45):
Man, it's unrelatable.
Speaker 2 (27:47):
Well no, I just you know, I'm busy watching the
All twenty two's, Like I don't. First, my kids in
an age to where he the only thing that's on
is Monster Jam or trash truck videos. That's it. And
then he'll want to, you know, go throw the ball around.
Speaker 4 (28:04):
So there's just there's just not an opertun My kids
are into some weird stuff on on social media.
Speaker 1 (28:09):
There's this there's this little girl that be.
Speaker 4 (28:11):
Singing and it's like, yeah, y'all ever see the social
media Like it's this girl she's got.
Speaker 1 (28:19):
Yay yay, ye yeay.
Speaker 5 (28:25):
No, do not see that.
Speaker 3 (28:27):
Man.
Speaker 4 (28:28):
I won't go too much deeper into it because in
my mind, I know this is horribly wrong, Like it's
wrong that they are filming this person doing like singing.
But but apparently the lady she has some type of
condition and she's like famous wherever it is she's from,
and she's like a social media phenom or something like that.
(28:49):
I'm gonna try to find it and send it to y'all,
but it's I feel bad laughing. But I will catch
my kids laughing and I'll look and be like, where
are you looking at? And I'll go looking at I'm like,
what are you laughing at?
Speaker 1 (29:01):
This? Farn?
Speaker 4 (29:02):
And I started listening to it some more. Then I
start laughing. I'm like, man, y'all need to turn his
s off and go go read a book. Now it's
got you, it's got me, Dad, He's got me. Well,

Good good more than everybody. Morning, LeVar, Morning, Brady, Morning Jonas.
Speaker 1 (34:23):
Guys.
Speaker 11 (34:24):
In case you missed that UH Titans beat down of
the Falcons yesterday, you would have missed, Hey Brady, you
would have missed Will Levis's great debut. Four touchdowns thrown
in that debut, of course, three of those ad.
Speaker 5 (34:40):
The lap.
Speaker 1 (34:41):
That's right, baby.
Speaker 11 (34:42):
In case you did miss uh what lap? In case
you missed that, uh that debut for will Levis, you
might have also missed Malik Willis going in for a
few snaps. He fumbled the first one in the first quarter,
and then when he went out for this uh snap
in the second quarter, he got booed by the fa.
Speaker 1 (35:01):
Man.
Speaker 11 (35:02):
Well, after the game, take a listen to what will
Levis had to say about this.
Speaker 1 (35:08):
What you say you got? What?
Speaker 3 (35:10):
What did he say?
Speaker 1 (35:13):
Well, what do you say?
Speaker 5 (35:17):
Tell us what he said?
Speaker 11 (35:18):
Well, he's he stood up for his guy and said, uh,
you know, left a sour taste in our mouths? Did
and fans better come correct next time?
Speaker 1 (35:27):
Is that right?
Speaker 4 (35:28):
You ain't been starting long enough to against that that routing.
Speaker 2 (35:32):
Well, I'll just say this, Tennessee has found a quarterback.
Will Levis looked fantastic.
Speaker 1 (35:39):
He was dropping bombs. Oh man, I mean all of
a sudden.
Speaker 3 (35:43):
That big arm.
Speaker 5 (35:44):
Everyone's like yeah, It was like yeah, no, he's he's
got a big arm.
Speaker 3 (35:47):
He was. He was doing that.
Speaker 9 (35:50):
Thing, man.
Speaker 2 (35:50):
And by the way, levarn I were just talking. Those
unis are shame joints.
Speaker 1 (35:55):
Is Okay.
Speaker 5 (35:57):
We were the best though, because I think the Seahawks
are the best.
Speaker 4 (36:00):
I man, I don't know thembrid shoes had them boys
looking like they was moving fast for somehow.
Speaker 3 (36:06):
But I bought one of those.
Speaker 5 (36:08):
I bought a Jim's orn, old school Seattle Jersey like
that because jay Z's good dude had him signing all that.
Now I'm like, man, I want to wear it. Weird, yeah,
like you don't want to wear something that signed, But like, man,
those things are they did look good. They did look
like you can't look bad. I'll put it this way.
Name one player that didn't look good is uniform for
(36:28):
Sattled yesterday. Everyone looks good.
Speaker 4 (36:31):
But them Houston Oilers dips was looking clean as a
whistle though.
Speaker 1 (36:35):
Man, I home.
Speaker 5 (36:36):
You know what's sad is like we grew up with that,
yes we did, and that's the problem is like all
these young bucks now have like a different version of it,
and it was like, man, they never should have changed.
Speaker 3 (36:45):
They should have kept it the second see.
Speaker 2 (36:47):
I think the Seahawks combos that they use currently present
day are awful in comparison to those throwbacks.
Speaker 1 (36:55):
From you know, the eighties and nineties, Like I.
Speaker 2 (36:57):
Just very futuristic. I also don't I don't like Philly's
new unities. I like the throwback from Philly.
Speaker 1 (37:03):
This I don't know is why go away from that?
Like I would just bring that back.
Speaker 3 (37:11):
Jerseys.
Speaker 1 (37:12):
That's unfortunate.
Speaker 3 (37:13):
That was.
Speaker 2 (37:14):
But Tennessee's got a quarterback and at least peaqus some
interest in. Okay, well let's see kind of what we
got moving forward. The Ryan Tannehill era. That's a wrap
on that, correct, Like we're good with Ryan Tannehill in Tennessee.
Speaker 4 (37:27):
I mean, you got to give it a couple more games,
don't you. I mean, I don't know, crazy man, he
was dropping them, but he was dealing, man, I don't know.
I think the Eligue Willis experiment might be coming to
an end, Yeah, very quickly.
Speaker 2 (37:45):
At a lot of it seems like when he's in there,
stuff just goes wrong. It's not maybe not always his vault,
just like damn and then We'll just gets in there,
just starts throwing dimes to DeAndre Hopkins, who's got three
touchdowns on the day.
Speaker 4 (38:02):
So all right, well, no sound on that. Will take
your word for lee. But what what you got in?
Speaker 11 (38:07):
Actually, well, guys, in case you missed the Buffalo Colorado
Buffalo's losing to U C.
Speaker 5 (38:12):
L A.
Speaker 1 (38:12):
I was twenty to sixteen. Were you there?
Speaker 4 (38:14):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (38:14):
Man, you might be one for questioning there.
Speaker 11 (38:17):
Yeah, because apparently after the game, the Buffalo players claimed
that all their jewelry was stolen out of their locker
room there at during the game.
Speaker 1 (38:27):
I mean, what's going on there? Where were you?
Speaker 4 (38:29):
I mean security seemed pretty tight to me. I don't
know how that had to have been an inside job.
I don't know that game was a sellout, correct, It
didn't look like it. Okay, they were trying to They
were trying to sling it as a sellout, like, yeah,
sold out. I mean there was a lot of people there.
There was a lot of people there. It wasn't all
the way fool. It was a good game.
Speaker 5 (38:50):
Hey, So are you guys trying to say that some
conspiracy theory to this? Is that why you keep bringing
up the whole like inside Like what are you saying?
Speaker 4 (38:57):
I don't I don't know. I'm just saying I know
the secure already. What they weren't letting nobody If you
didn't have the proper credential. They weren't messing around. So
if somebody would have gotten into a locker room and
and just helped themselves to all the jewelry of all
of the players, it would have had to been somebody
that was on the inside.
Speaker 1 (39:15):
Job.
Speaker 3 (39:16):
You know, I wonder if it's all ensured. If it is, what's.
Speaker 1 (39:24):
What do we?
Speaker 3 (39:25):
We'll love us?
Speaker 2 (39:27):
Will your thoughts on the theft between Colorado and.
Speaker 4 (39:30):
U C l Ah My, Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh, Lee,
what did you do this weekend? Oh my gosh, Lee,
Oh my gosh, I'm.
Speaker 5 (39:47):
Right now, All right, Lee, what did you do this weekend?
Speaker 3 (39:50):
Buddy?
Speaker 11 (39:51):
I admitted to a Halloween party, I bet you last night.
Speaker 1 (39:55):
No, it was not.
Speaker 4 (39:56):
It was not as dealing with sleep deprivation right now, I.
Speaker 1 (40:00):
Don't believe I do. By the way, Schudor Sanders took
a beating in that game, My gosh, it was bad.
Did he he had to get injections afterwards or something
like that. It was bad man. They was going to
war on him, brouh it was.
Speaker 2 (40:17):
It was brutal, yeah, but tough player, tough kid.
Speaker 11 (40:22):
What else we got? I'll tell you one other thing
I did this weekend? Ad made it to that Taylor
swift eras Tour movie, did you with Todd and his
girlfriend and.
Speaker 1 (40:30):
Apparently the brother by yourself?
Speaker 3 (40:32):
Yeah?
Speaker 11 (40:33):
Yeah, third wieled it. My girlfriend knows better. She doesn't
care about Taylor.
Speaker 1 (40:37):
Sweet.
Speaker 4 (40:37):
I just don't understand why you guys don't all come
together at some point, Like I've never heard of you saying,
y'all all been in one place all at the same time,
like this weird little like coincidence with what y'all got
going on. Man, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (40:51):
I really would like to understand the truth of it.
Speaker 11 (40:53):
But well, apparently the Broncos DJ was a big fan
of that movie too, because after the Broncos beat the Chiefs,
he played.
Speaker 1 (40:59):
A little shake it off for you guys. I mean,
why not.
Speaker 2 (41:02):
You know, you got to celebrate these wins if you're
the Denver Broncos. I mean, you haven't had one against
Kansas City since like the nineteen forties, so you got to.
Speaker 4 (41:10):
I just want that ten second countdown to get us
to the break as quickly as possible.
Speaker 1 (41:15):
A smooth operating show. Next hour, man, let's let's try
to get Let's run it back.
Speaker 9 (41:19):
