LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here all right,
coming up on this Wednesday edition. It is post Halloween,

wanted to do in the future. Josh McDaniels, Dave Ziggler
both gone. We'll break down what it means and why
the move was made. We're also going to talk about
(00:21):
a busy day at the trade deadline for several teams
in the NFL. We're going to look at the brand
new college football playoff rankings first time this year and
what it all entails for the Ohio State buck guys
and the Michigan Wolverines who apparently had an assistant on
the sidelines for a Central Michigan game. None of it
makes any sense. But we're also going to catch up
(00:42):
with the old p We've got the BQ News coming up,
our midweek awards, and it's all yours coming up next here,

while many of you were wrapping up your trigger treating
(01:43):
and your Halloween festivities, the Las Vegas Raiders.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
Kamas, yeah, don't forget to include candy comb Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:50):
The candycombas. But while people were wrapping all that up,
the Las Vegas Raiders were wrapping up the Josh McDaniels
Dave Ziegler era, because that was the new that came
out late last night. Josh McDaniels the head coach of
the Raiders, Dave Ziegler the GM gone. They are both gone.
They will be replaced by Antonio Pierce, who takes over
(02:12):
as interim coach for the Raiders, and Champ Kelly, who
will be the interim GM. So it just goes to
show you if you're gonna lose and if your offense
is gonna look that bad, just make sure it's not
on primetime television when everybody's watching, because you are not
safe for the next twenty four to thirty six hours.
And that's to wrap well.
Speaker 4 (02:30):
Good for my guy, Champ Man. Champ's done this for
a long time. He's very well respected within the front
office community, and so I'm excited for this. And by
the way, this is what kind of said this as well.
First off, let me say this, you know, I feel
for the players going through the transition of a head
coach in general manager. I should probably start there, but
(02:51):
when I saw that Champ was going to be elevated
to be in that INTERIMGM position, like he might be
able to take this thing over and maybe Antonio two
and we'll how Mark Davis wants to handle this. But
it's tough for the players because the season hasn't gone
the way they wanted. Now you get a coaching change
in the middle of it, and it feels like, and
I've been through this, right, Guys start to look out
(03:12):
for themselves, you know, they start to say, clearly, this
team's looking onto the future for.
Speaker 3 (03:17):
The next leader.
Speaker 4 (03:18):
They're they're probably they're obviously evaluating what's on tape, but
guys start to become, you know, weary of wanting to
put themselves, put their their livelihood out there on the lines,
because they're they're afraid of, you know that what's the
situation the team's in right now, And that's just the
reality of it. So it's obviously tough for all the players.
But the good thing is is, like, you know, Antonio,
(03:40):
Pierce and Champ get an opportunity, So I'm excited for them.
Speaker 3 (03:46):
Yeah, I would say the same thing. I don't think
that it should have come as any surprise that they
you know, I think Mark Davis was probably left with
little to no choice in terms of make making some changes.
It just it doesn't seem like the McDaniel's era was
(04:07):
going to yield any other any other type of of,
you know, result other than what was taking place as
it applies to Antonio Peers being named the head coach
and to Antonio Pierce was on on the trajectory of
being the head coach after HERM. Edwards would have would
(04:27):
have finished up at Arizona State. They had turned that
that program around, largely in part due to the efforts
of Antonio Piers. A lot of people may not have
known how much he did behind the scenes. I mean,
maybe some of it became more more prevalent than than
(04:47):
some of the other things that he he did that
were really really great towards building that program. You know,
I got into coaching because of Antonio Peers, Like I
started coaching because he me to come, you know, help
the kids, and it turned out to be one of
the greatest experiences of my life. The one thing I'll
(05:09):
say about this for for the Raiders and and moving
forward is you have guys that players relate to and
they love and and they they play their hearts out
for because they know the guy cares about them. They
know that there's there's a certain level of respect that
(05:32):
there's a certain level of relatability, and that's very much
who Antonio Pierce is Dan. Like you see what's going
on with Dan Campbell and and uh in Detroit. It's
kind of the same type of deal. It really is,
like he's he's a motivator, he's super super brilliant mind
(05:53):
like he's a he's almost like like a rain Man
type dude. And when it comes down to like knowing
knowing his knowing his stuff, and it'll come down to
Ken he rally the rest of the coaching staff, which
I'm sure he probably has a great rapport with all
of those guys. And it also come down to trying
(06:16):
to gain the belief that these guys moving forward are
the better for where they're at right now. And this
is a golden opportunity because you do have a new GM,
you do have a new head coach. And while it
may be you know, temporary results, results can can give
you a more permanent opportunity.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
Do you do you think that part of this was, Look,
they couldn't They wanted to get rid of Derek Carr.
They made the trade for Davonte Adams. They brought in
Devonte Adams, they gave Car the extension. Next thing you know,
Car didn't even finished the season and they had to
move on. It's like, okay, well, you know, Jimmy Garoppolo
could be an answer. And Garoppolo came in and it
(07:00):
just didn't work. And we were talking about this yesterday, like,
defensively on Monday, just if you just go to Monday Night,
they the defense kept them in that game, but offensively
they could do nothing. And Josh McDaniels after the game
really didn't have any answers. He was like, I don't
I don't know. I think everything's up in the air
right now at this point.
Speaker 3 (07:20):
And I wonder if you heard the players. You heard
Devonte Adams, you heard the players are you know their
frustration is toiling over too.
Speaker 1 (07:28):
And I wonder if Mark Davis was like, well, if
you don't have answers, I got to get somebody who
maybe could find some Like That's what it felt like
to me. Like so I'm surprised that man a year
and a half in it, Like it feels similar to
the Denver era with Josh McDaniels, except he didn't start
off six and oh like he did in Denver and
now he's out after less than two years with the Raiders.
(07:51):
It's crazy, man.
Speaker 3 (07:52):
I mean we talked about this yesterday.
Speaker 4 (07:55):
You know, you only get two shots at it, and
this is one where I'm sure Josh McDaniels, who I
think way to what ten years to take this job,
he probably looked at it and said they just had
to move on from John Gruden. There's no way Mark
Davis is not going to be patient with the rebuild here,
and he signed him to a six year deal. He
(08:18):
still got four full years after this year of getting paid. Yeah,
I mean, look, it's not I mean, the only cause
is that was not good offense, which is what you're
supposed to be good at.
Speaker 3 (08:31):
I mean.
Speaker 4 (08:31):
The tough thing about Ziegler getting fired and clipped along
with him is obviously those two came in together. They
have a long history dating back to their days I
believe back in college at John Carroll in Ohio. So
they had a very close relationship and by the way,
both good people. I mean, this is the toughest part
about you know, our businesses, sometimes things.
Speaker 3 (08:50):
Don't work out for good people.
Speaker 4 (08:52):
You know, It's it's not an easy business that way,
where it's highly competitive, and it's one of the reasons
why you know a guy like Josh M. Daniels might
not sit out, he might want to get back into
it and call plays because they're addicted to the competition
to each year, every week having a measuring stick of
a game to justify how good they are or where
(09:14):
they need to improve and how much better they need
to get. And the tough thing for Ziegeler is like
they build a good roster, like if you're looking at
everywhere outside of the quarterback play, it's a good roster,
Like you can win with this group.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
Antonio Pierce can win with this group.
Speaker 4 (09:31):
They've got to figure out something though offensively and unfortunately
at the quarterback spot, like Jimmy g probably is just
coming off one of his most glaringly bad performances, and
you can't really turn anywhere else on the roster unless
you want to go with Aid O'Connor, who got a
short stint, see what you have in him. But that's
the reality is you're probably playing the best guy on
(09:52):
the roster and he's not making the throws he needs
to to DeVonta Adams who's wide open, and who knows
how that game changes if he hits him on a
ninety yard time touchdown pass or a six yard touchdown pass,
with which both would have been had he hit him
on either of those two passes.
Speaker 3 (10:07):
So it's it's it's you know, it's a tough, a.
Speaker 4 (10:11):
Tough deal for some people involved, but a great opportunity
as well. I just think for Mark Davis, I mean,
it's got to be tough to look around and go
where do I go?
Speaker 3 (10:22):
Now?
Speaker 4 (10:22):
You know, that was a coach that he defended publicly,
even despite the backlash and maybe coming into this thing,
like Josh McDaniels is the type of candidate that had
a short, you know, leash anyway because of what had
happened in Denver and because of how he handled the
whole Indianapolis thing, or even if that was the Colts debacle,
it was really you know, it had him attached to it,
(10:45):
and so because of that, it almost led to like
this kind of thought that it was gonna be hard
for him to kind of build back up, you know,
the idea in people's minds that he was going to
be able to turn this thing around.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
So it's tough spot for the Raiders.
Speaker 4 (11:00):
You hate to see a franchise, especially a story franchise
like this in the position they're in, but they've got
to pick up the pieces, and Antonio Pierce now has
an opportunity with you know, to me, there's still time
left in the season now after a few if they
lose a couple more games, that you know, kind of
runs out. But I'm sure Mark Davis felt like he
needed to make a change before he lost the players
(11:21):
in the locker room. Like Mark Davis is the type
of owner that's close with the players. He's he's down there,
he's around those guys like this is what he does.
He's not running some of their business somewhere else. And
players like him. Like I've been at different Super Bowls.
We see dudes just chilling around him. You know, he's
he's like that. So I hope they can be more
(11:41):
competitive and get this thing turned around.
Speaker 1 (11:42):
And really do. By the way, Richard Pasaccia, they loved
him and they went to the playoffs with him and
like to where You've heard players talk afterwards like they
were really bummed out that he didn't get an opportunity
after he stepped in for Gruden in a tough circumstance
and got them to the postseason, and I just to.
Speaker 4 (12:00):
Sell a special teams coach though, I mean outside of
John Arbaugh, it's just it is. And that's that was
one where like to your point, like I wish they
would have given him an opportunity and then let him
build with the coordinators and all that. But that's the
toughest thing I think about when you talk about constructing
a staff is when your expertise is offense or defense,
(12:20):
you're at least gonna have one side of the ball
covered right. And so if you're a special teams coordinator,
I mean you're gonna lose coordinators in and out. And
I mean we're looking at a Baltimore this year bringing
in Todd Munkin because you know, they've they've got to
make some offensive changes, and it looks like it's gonna
work out.
Speaker 3 (12:35):
Mike McDaniel they brought in. It might be Butcher his name,
but I believe that's his name.
Speaker 4 (12:40):
That the young man out of who was originally there
as a linebackers coach, went to Michigan called defense, then
came back, you know once Wink Martindale went to the
New York Giants. So it's you're always going to get change.
I think when that's the case, because you don't have
that guy who's calling offense or defense who's kind of
your your cornerstone. And that's the toughest part, I think
(13:00):
to when you will talk about the decision making process
of who you hire as a.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
Head coach, man ap your former teammates are. And by
the way, first, his debut as a head coach is
going to be against the Giants this weekend, the team
in two.
Speaker 3 (13:16):
That's pretty sweet. Yeah, yeah, that should be. That's a
great that's a great situation to get a good first
first game under your belt, right, I mean it's not
like you're going up against a heavyweight or a team
that is in the right direction and in that scenario,
and so at least he gets gets a first game
(13:37):
where it's like you look at him and you know,
it's just not not crazy bullets flying at you the
first first one out. But it's got to be a
great opportunity. You hate the circumstances anytime somebody's demise is
the reason for for your opportunity. You know, you don't
you don't necessarily want that to be, you know how
(13:58):
it comes about in this way. But next you already
know next man up and and and the opportunity is
an opportunity. And keep in mind one thing we haven't
said is he's you know, AP's black. By the way,
Antonio peers for everyone out there, he's he's he's a
black man, you know what I mean. So, so for
(14:18):
all those people who like to to always drum up
the racial card and everything that takes place, make sure
you look at the fact that you know, Mark Davis
elevated a a young black man too. He's not old,
he's not young, but anyway, he elevated. He elevated a
(14:39):
black man to being the min uh. Interesting, I was
going to say minority head coach, but the interim head
coach of this team. So I think it's a great
opportunity for him. And if there's going to be a
guy that that locker room responds to and rallies around
to to try to make it work, it would definitely
(15:00):
be a guy like Ap. So good for him, good
luck to him. When I saw it, I got I
got the text message when when it happened, So super
proud of him, super happy for him. Man, he texted you, well,
we got a group chat. We definitely he's on that
group chat with that you're like group chat thing.
Speaker 1 (15:18):
Yeah, hey look at that man, what a Var like?
Speaker 3 (15:22):
As far could be leaving us, you can be coaching?
Speaker 1 (15:24):
Yeah, what's this about?
Speaker 3 (15:26):
Come on? Var?
Speaker 1 (15:27):
No bro okay, well could you at least do this
because you did do him as solid by showing up
and helping the kids out when he was coaching. He
got you into coaching, and.
Speaker 3 (15:36):
Then it was long beach Polly. It wasn't like I
shut it up. It was coaching the bad news bears.
Like I showed up and was coaching like four or
five D one kids the minute I got there, So
it was it was fun.
Speaker 1 (15:49):
It was at least the least he could do is
come on an hour or two and talk about the
higher like, that's the least he could do.
Speaker 3 (15:54):
Is that? Is that possible?
Speaker 1 (15:55):
What do you think Var?
Speaker 3 (15:57):
I could text him?
Speaker 1 (15:58):
I mean, why not?
Speaker 3 (15:59):
Let's the group text out there?
Speaker 1 (16:01):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (16:03):
Are you awake? I know it's really early. What do
you like to come? But you can't. You gotta get
the voice to prose? Come on and then the show and.
Speaker 1 (16:26):
Then ask him if you could ask him real quick
just to craze and then ask him real quick just say, hey,
how many rocket ships is Mark Davis walking around with
at all times in the casinos?
Speaker 3 (16:38):
Yeah? I don't want to do that, right, Okay.
Speaker 1 (16:40):
We'll make that well, we'll ask him on the air.
That's fine that we'll save it for the air. That's
where Well, it is two pros and a cup of
Joe Here on Fox Sports Radio. It's Lebar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas.
Speaker 3 (16:52):
Knox with you.
Speaker 1 (16:52):
All right.
Speaker 3 (16:53):
I'm sure he's got a whole lot more important things
on his mind right now, but that's what why Yeah, this,
let's see what happens.
Speaker 1 (17:03):
All right. So we are going to have the usuals
coming up later on. We got another edition of Vacation
missed It. We've got our midweek Awards. We've also got
the BQ News and the old p Petris Popadegas is
going to stop by. It's all yours as we take
you all the way up until nine am Eastern time,
six o'clock Pacific. But we speculated that there could be
a move made in the NFL involving one player specifically,
(17:24):
and as it turns out, we were right. We'll tell
you why that is next here on FSR.
Speaker 5 (17:29):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 1 (17:43):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio,
LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here. Coming
up in twenty minutes from now from the tire rack
dot Com Studios. There's a Hall of Famer and a
mystery surrounding this Pro Football Hall of Famer. We will
try and figure out what the hell was actually going on.
Coming up here again twenty minutes from now here on FSR. Now,
(18:06):
if you listen to the show yesterday, we were getting
ready for the trade deadline which came in passed. There
were several moves that we're going to get into, but
we were talking about what would the Minnesota Vikings do
at quarterback, you know, with the injury to Kirk Cousins
his season being over with the torn achilles, and one
of the speculations that we pondered upon was, okay, well,
(18:28):
the Arizona Cardinals have Josh Dobbs and then after the
game he was supposed to be the starting quarterback moving forward,
especially this week against Cleveland. And then on Monday, Jonathan
Gannon said, well, after taking another look, we're going to
go ahead and we're going to have Clayton Tune be
the starter or Kyler Murray. I'm thinking, well, that's a
(18:49):
little odd. That's an about face after one statement made
after the game, and he tried to say, well, after
watching the tape, we've decided to go in this direction,
and we wondered, could he be on the trail block
and maybe they're just making sure that he's healthy or
that he's out there and everybody knows, all right, we're
going to go in this direction. As it turns out,
that direction was the Minnesota Vikings. Josh Dobbs is now
(19:10):
the starting quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings. He will not
play this upcoming week. They're going to give him a
week to try and get prepared and get ready to go.
But they do get it done. It's for a late
round pick, and the Minnesota Vikings have found what they
think is the answer to Kirk cousins departure for the season,
and that be Josh Dobbs, who stepped in admirably on
(19:31):
two weeks notice before the season in Arizona. So good
for Josh Dobbs.
Speaker 4 (19:36):
I mean we talked about this when he took over
for the Cardinals, like if anyone could could learn a
system and get up to speed, which you've seen in Arizona,
it'd be Josh Dobbs. Incredibly smart. He's played in a
lot of different systems. I think this is a seventh
team so far in his career, so he's he understands
different you know, different offenses that he's in.
Speaker 3 (19:58):
He's not gonna be asked to start right away.
Speaker 4 (20:00):
They're gonna be starting Jaron Hall this week, the rookie
out of BYU.
Speaker 3 (20:04):
But I would assume they bring him on to be
the guy.
Speaker 4 (20:08):
And look, it's a great situation once Justin Jefferson comes back.
As far as pass catchers, Jordan Addison's been awesome so
far this shore as a rookie. They got Hockinson at
the tight end. Kg Osborne's been great too, and Cam
Akers is coming on and their offensive line's been better
since they put in Reisner for Ezra Cleveland who got
shipped off to Jacksonville yesterday. This is a team that
they're making a move to stay in this thing. And
(20:30):
it's interesting too because they got a seventh round pick
and Dobbs in exchange for a sixth and then they
got a sixth back in trading away Azra Cleveland to Jacksonville.
So it's a wash when it's all said and done,
and it's a wash that keeps them at four and
four and two and zero in the division and still
in the playoff hunt. So I like this move for Minnesota.
(20:52):
You know, I'm not sure what else they really could
have done and what the price would have been, but
to be able to say, hey, we've got a quarterback
that we feel I can come in and keep us
competitive and give us a shot, and we didn't have
to give up anything really for it. We feel pretty
good about it. And again, I know his play hasn't
been great the last three or four weeks, but this
(21:13):
is also a better system and personnel that he's in
in Minnesota as compared to what he was with in
Arizona in my opinion, So I think it's a great
opportunity for me.
Speaker 3 (21:24):
It won't be easy, but but it's definitely a great opportunity.
Their defense is a middle of the pack type of defense,
but nonetheless have kept them competitive in games. So you
get that offensive production back with Justin Jefferson coming back
being healthy, and as you mentioned, Jordan Addison is a
(21:46):
very very fine young receiver on this team as well.
You know, I think that they certainly have the opportunity
to be a wild card. I don't know that they
beat the Lions at this point. I think the Lions
are on They're onto that next next phase of where
(22:09):
they are, Yeah, I think so. I think they've moved
to a different tier. And and obviously the other teams,
you know, Green Bays taking a step back as you
would have expected, losing one of the greatest football players
to ever play at the quarterback position. And and the
(22:29):
Bears are the Bears, you know what I mean. So
there's there's always that. I mean, that's you know, it
is what it is. So this this this Minnesota team
has its opportunity to kind of not kind of they
could really put themselves in a firm second position and
can compete and contend for that first position. I just
(22:52):
don't think they can get it over the Detroit Lions.
Speaker 6 (22:54):
So except about the pole position, yeah, the pole position, Yeah,
with the pole assassin, Yeah, I think they will probably
at best be able to be a wildcard team at
this point and be the second team coming out of
the North.
Speaker 3 (23:11):
But that's very doable. And you know, even with a
fill in quarterback.
Speaker 1 (23:15):
I mean immediately Josh Dobbs becomes the second best quarterback
in that division. Wow, we're being honest.
Speaker 4 (23:21):
Yeah, well come on now, First off, when Justin Fields
is back healthy, I'm not willing to say that.
Speaker 3 (23:28):
And Justin look, I agree with you that if you.
Speaker 4 (23:32):
Go back through there was a bunch of drops last
week for the Packers in Jordan Love. I think he'll
be fine. He just needs time. It's his first first
year full time starting. You know that's not easy for
anyone to go through. And I'll tell you go back
and look at Aaron Rodgers first year full time starting.
Speaker 3 (23:48):
Just go back and compare it was.
Speaker 4 (23:50):
I don't want to say similar, but you know you
you got some of those first year vibes for a
quarterback who's trying to take over and find his own
way with everything. And this is a young group two
he's throwing too, So I give them the benefit of
the doubt.
Speaker 1 (24:04):
Green Bay stinks. I mean, can we be honest, God,
they're not good I mean they're not just.
Speaker 3 (24:11):
What's not good is your knocks locks.
Speaker 1 (24:12):
That's a hold on you know, you know, damn well,
I was two zero to one, all right, sitting at
three games over five hundred for the year. You know,
I can't make a lot of money, but noxious noxious.
Speaker 3 (24:25):
Hey good job, Sam. Hey, We're we're lifting you up
and encouraging you.
Speaker 1 (24:29):
Sam.
Speaker 3 (24:30):
All right, We're giving you all the energy in the world. Sam,
I like. I like that that Dave Chappelle drop baby.
Speaker 1 (24:37):
Now do you guys believe Like if you had to guess,
what would you say the odds are that the Minnesota
Vikings can make the playoffs? Like, if you were to
lay one hundred dollars down, how much would you need
to see back on Minnesota to make the playoffs before
you're making the bet?
Speaker 3 (24:53):
I would say there plus plus four hundred.
Speaker 1 (25:00):
Okay, LeVar. Would you say, what would you need in
order to make that back?
Speaker 3 (25:03):
What would I need? I mean, I don't know what
I would need. I mean, I'm not in telling that.
Tell what you need. I tell you it's I can't
see it being a long shot that they make the playoffs.
I don't I don't I think that they can again.
I just explained it. So if I were to give odds,
I don't know. I don't know A.
Speaker 1 (25:23):
Hundred one hundred to win?
Speaker 3 (25:25):
What back?
Speaker 1 (25:26):
Because dragon like one hundred?
Speaker 3 (25:28):
What is it? Like one hundred to one? Is that
how they say?
Speaker 1 (25:30):
No? No, it's like that's really good.
Speaker 3 (25:32):
Huh. If you say one hundred to one odds.
Speaker 1 (25:33):
Yeah, I mean that's like in credible.
Speaker 3 (25:36):
It's like they're too good.
Speaker 1 (25:37):
That's like the Bears to win, you know, five games
this year, it's like a one or something.
Speaker 3 (25:43):
When you say four hundred, is it four hundred? What
do you mean when you plus four hundred? So you bet,
you bet one hundred and then you get you win
four hundred. Oh, you win four hundred.
Speaker 1 (25:52):
By the way, I like how LeVar pretends like he
doesn't know what this means. Yet he's dominating in our
picks every week.
Speaker 3 (25:59):
I can't pick without knowing all of the details of
how how you gambled.
Speaker 1 (26:04):
We're getting hustled, is what's happening here? This like white
white white men can't jump and the ops waiting for
plus two plus two sixty courtesy of our friends a
draft than I thought, Yeah, so one hundred and win sixty.
Do you think Josh Dobbs can take the Minnesota Viking?
Speaker 3 (26:19):
Now, if I knew how to talk, that would have
been what I would have said somewhere around there. What's
that one hundred or two hundred you were going to
say that I said, I said one hundred to one
instead of plus one hundred plus two hundred. Yeah, there
you go, all right though, Well yeah see now I'll
add that to my memory bank for next time. Added
to the resume.
Speaker 1 (26:37):
Yeah, I do.
Speaker 4 (26:38):
Here here's the reality if the player. If the playoffs
started today, the Vikings would.
Speaker 3 (26:43):
Be in.
Speaker 1 (26:46):
I mean, look, I I I find myself rooting for
this to work because I am too Josh Dobbs and
that whole story, and he's finally getting an opportunity. What
a year he's had. Man, two weeks before the season,
he's a Cleveland Brown, then he goes he's a card
all they win their opener, and now he's in Minnesota
with the chance to make a run of the playoffs.
That's awesome. And for a guy that's bounced around, as
(27:08):
you've laid out, Brady, and he's only played a handful
of games before to get his opportunity, even after all
these years and going through what he's been through. Good
for him.
Speaker 3 (27:17):
You know, it's crazy if you look at today's playoff picture. Right,
Let's just look at the NFC for a second.
Speaker 4 (27:23):
So the Eagles Lions obviously are sit in the top
two spots, and then you've got the Seahawks in forty
nine ers, which, mind you, if the playoffs started today,
the Seahawks would actually win the division. They would be
the team ahead of the forty nine ers this far, Atlanta,
Dallas and then Minnesota finish out the seven in the NFC,
with the Saints on the outside looking in now all
(27:44):
the teams that have potential of making a run, Like
I feel like the Saints are only the only team
that could maybe I mean bounce out Atlanta because they
both sit at four and four, and I do think
the Saints will eventually overcome. But that's kind of what
the playoff picture is going to look like. Heating maybe different.
The AFC to me is way different. Like you got
(28:05):
the Chiefs, Dolphins, Jaguars, Ravens, Bills, Steelers, Browns. Right now,
the Bengals are in the ninth spot, the Chargers are
in the twelve spot at.
Speaker 3 (28:16):
Three and four, So the playoffs started today. The Bengals
aren't even in the playoffs, aren't even in.
Speaker 4 (28:22):
And yet here's a tough part about saying that is
both are all three of the Steelers, Browns and Bengals
all the same record.
Speaker 3 (28:28):
They're at four and three, But.
Speaker 4 (28:30):
Because of those divisional games that we talked about, the
Steelers Browns have the advantage right now. Now that being said,
I would put what's what's the odds on the Bengals
making the playoffs because I would put every dollar that
I own they're getting into the playoffs and they're gonna
make a run.
Speaker 3 (28:47):
Hey, you know what's crazy? How can you how many
times do you find yourself talking about a team that's
in last place their division as like one of the
hottest teams in the league, the hottest two day. Yeah,
let's place that's wow.
Speaker 1 (29:05):
With our friends on DraftKings. They don't have the Cincinnati
Bengals odds to make the playoffs on the board, you know, shoo,
let me, let me, let me, let me just go ahead.
Uh no, no, let me adjust here. Oh, minus minus
one fifty to make the playoffs are the Cincinnati Bengals
minus Because they know, they know that they know. Yeah,
(29:28):
they know the threats.
Speaker 3 (29:30):
I saw what you did there. I mean, I did
see what you did there.
Speaker 4 (29:33):
But I guess my point is this, like, if you're
looking at the AFC versus NFC, I think the a
f C is way more intriguing as far as like,
can the Chargers make it up in there? What about
the Titans? And will Levis ballin' Houston's right there too
with them.
Speaker 7 (29:47):
C J.
Speaker 3 (29:47):
Strausman phenomenal this year.
Speaker 4 (29:48):
You got the Bengals, like, and dude, I'll just say this,
the Jets are four and three. Zach Wilson's you know,
say what you want about. However, this past week's game went.
He made the plays in the end when he needed to.
If they keep hanging on and Rogers can come back
like they're a part of that conversation, it is, it's
a crazy, you know picture so far as far as
(30:10):
parody in the AFC, it's not the same in the NFC.
Speaker 3 (30:13):
It's kind of like, I kind of know who it's
going to be, just depends on the seating. And we're
already at that the halfway point or.
Speaker 1 (30:17):
Not even right now, definitely nowhere close to the final stretch.
But you know we are close to the final stretch
with the Bator's Cup. Because we're in that final stretch

The guys are here to bring you in case you missed.
Speaker 1 (32:52):
It, and for that we turn it over to our
executive producer, Lead Lapse gooo.
Speaker 9 (33:00):
And everybody morning, Join this morning, Brady Morning, LeVar guys.
In case you missed this, A video that went viral yesterday.
Speaker 1 (33:07):
That's right, LeVar guys.
Speaker 9 (33:09):
A video that went viral yesterday, Hey, Brady, video that
went viral yesterday. Hall of Fame running back Edrin James
in a van filled with a million dollars and one
dollar bills, which takes up about the entirety of the
minivan he's driving in. In the video, you get to
hear him saying stripper Bowl ready, h And everyone was
(33:30):
wondering what this was all about.
Speaker 1 (33:31):
Turns out this.
Speaker 9 (33:32):
Video is actually from twenty twenty when he's on his
way to Pierre Thomas's Stripper Bowl party in Miami is
annual stripper Bowl party.
Speaker 1 (33:43):
So yeah, did you guys see this?
Speaker 3 (33:44):
I mean, you know one. So he's basically backing in
the money. So that's the Stripper Bowl I mean, and
I would assume is the super Bowl of stripping.
Speaker 1 (33:56):
By the way, didn't he open up a strip club?
Speaker 3 (33:59):
I know he liked Atlanta.
Speaker 1 (34:00):
Yeah, he got like he was big into commercial real estate.
I guess he's been really good with his money and
he's gotten into commercial real estate. I think he opened
up a strip club or started running a strip club.
Speaker 4 (34:11):
Drian James running a strip club is not commercial real estate.
Speaker 1 (34:16):
Well, but he got into commercial real estate, and he
also got into that yeah commercial in one of those.
Speaker 4 (34:25):
Yeah, I mean it sounds more entrepreneurial to me at
least what we're talking about.
Speaker 1 (34:29):
So yeah, I mean that's that's the point. He's gotten
been really good with his money.
Speaker 3 (34:33):
That's what's the point of resurfacing in twenty three dude.
Speaker 4 (34:37):
You know how much stuff on social media gets resurfaced
and all these people are duped by it. I mean seriously, Like,
if you look into the algorithms, you look at like Instagram.
Speaker 3 (34:47):
And TikTok all it, it's all stuff that just gets resurfaced.
Because here's the truth.
Speaker 4 (34:53):
They can't they can't supply the amount of new footage
and stuff that they need to entertain people. I mean,
you've got millions and millions and millions of people who
have their phones on their platforms, constantly swiping and scrolling
across stuff. They don't have content creators constantly creating content,
(35:14):
so they just recycle or recycler, recycle with different versions
of it. They've got enough people out there. But think
about these platforms. That's why they're willing to pay people.
That's why they're they're trying to partner them up with
brands and whatnot, because if people just stop producing content,
they would how would they be any different than any
other television or show or anything else that's out there.
Speaker 1 (35:34):
Well, that's why you got to listen to this show.
We got fresh stuff every single day, every day fresh takes,
and they're burning hot.
Speaker 3 (35:42):
Yeah, well here's here's a burning they're burning hot.
Speaker 8 (35:49):
You know.
Speaker 3 (35:49):
It's a little disappointed with yesterday.
Speaker 4 (35:50):
We did try to do the national anthem comparison between
Flavor Flav and Carl Lewis.
Speaker 1 (35:55):
I mean, why don't we make that happen? Then make
it happen to that.
Speaker 3 (35:57):
I mean I tried to, but Weird really didn't want
to do it.
Speaker 1 (36:01):
Yeah, Lee, he's a big Flavor Flav guy. I didn't
feel like we're shaming fla.
Speaker 3 (36:04):
Flavor Flave direction Weedy. I actually thought he signed pretty good. Yeah,
I thought so too. Yeah, I think I want to
be with Flavor Flave.
Speaker 1 (36:13):
Yeah. What else we got?
Speaker 9 (36:15):
Well, guys, In case you missed this, a report from
TMZ states that the Kelsey family the immediate family, are
becoming increasingly overwhelmed by the attention they're getting since Travis
has been dating Taylor Swifts. Yeah I wonder why, saying
that their personal phones have been blowing up NonStop, that
they've been under a microscope since the rumor started back
in September. Obviously, we've I think we reported on it
(36:38):
earlier that Travis had to buy a multimillion dollar mansion
inside a gated community.
Speaker 1 (36:42):
Get away from all the swifties.
Speaker 9 (36:43):
I had to Yeah, yeah, yeah apparently, and uh so, yeah,
they're increasingly becoming overwhelmed.
Speaker 3 (36:50):
Well, you gotta be careful what you asked for, what
you wish for. Yeah, be careful what you signed up.
Speaker 1 (36:54):
For, right, I mean, you know, her fan base is,
her fan base has got a bunch of weirdo, Like,
what do you expect? This is? This comes with the territory,
and you know, you walk around and promote it and
you know, take it all in and have you know,
all these networks want to show her in the press,
buy or in the suite and constantly talk about it.
(37:16):
What do you expect is what's gonna happen?
Speaker 4 (37:18):
You get to buy another house. They're in Kansas City,
just to make it more private. But it was like
a six million dollar house. Got it for like I
think five They got for a good deal.
Speaker 3 (37:29):
I mean, I'll say this, however, however, they if they
don't get married, however it ends, they better make sure
that thing is planned out the right way, right, it's
just the exact flash on him.
Speaker 4 (37:46):
You know, it's a great point, because then they're gonna hate.
Then all the Swifties are gonna hate on the NFL.
Speaker 3 (37:50):
Who They better make sure that dismount and landing is
just as phenomenal as the stick that landing. They better
stick that bad boy.
Speaker 1 (37:59):
Yeah, but I mean they're used to this by now.
She's got a lot of axes.
Speaker 4 (38:02):
Whether it's yeah, but here's the thing is, if you're
trying to grow your female audience, you need to find
a way and make sure they stay. Otherwise, she writes
a breakup song about Travis Kelcey and moves on.
Speaker 3 (38:15):
It takes all Kelsey and the league. Well, yeah, just do.
Speaker 1 (38:18):
What everybody else does. Get a kardash.
Speaker 3 (38:20):
Yet you know it could be considered toxic. Well, for
what it's worth, that's getting them.
Speaker 1 (38:28):
Yeah that's true. But you could could you imagine now
that you say, now that you say toxic, could you
imagine he goes from Taylor Swift to Britney Spears get
pulled over.
Speaker 3 (38:40):
It could be a cruel summer depending on the time
of all this.
Speaker 1 (38:42):
You know, great point.
Speaker 4 (38:45):
You don't want any bad blood or have to have
him shake it off.
Speaker 3 (38:53):
The love story. Oh what else?
Speaker 4 (38:57):
The last thing you want is Travis Kelcey that she
is playing for a super Bowl and you know him
like having a blank.
Speaker 3 (39:01):
Space in his head.
Speaker 1 (39:02):
You know, good call nice.
Speaker 3 (39:06):
They don't want that.
Speaker 9 (39:07):
We speaking of profiting off of all this, Kelsey's actually
uh uh put in bids to trademark kill a trev
All right now flight eighty seven and Kelsey's Crunch, amongst all.
Speaker 1 (39:19):
I really like it, all right nah, because I'm not
really sure what that is. That's just like a phrase.
Speaker 3 (39:25):
Is that is that something he says? All right nah?
Speaker 1 (39:29):
And like all right now? And Kelsey Crunch, that's probably
a serial, I would guess, yeah, that's probably gonna be
uh captain Crunch.
Speaker 3 (39:36):
But I don't mind it. Hey man, all this understanding
business and taking advantage these days. I'm happy for him. Yeah, yeah,
good for him, man.
