Speaker 3 (00:39):
You know about a Sam?

Speaker 4 (00:42):
Yes? Sam? What you know about Rolling Down in the Deep?

Speaker 3 (00:46):
I don't know what you know about it? Drew Aler?

Speaker 4 (00:49):
Why are you talking about Drew Aller?

Speaker 1 (00:50):
Man?

Speaker 3 (00:51):
Keep it on your mouth, man, trying to give you
a little bit of loving.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
No, no, no, no, I don't play about Drew Man.
Don't talk about the franchise.

Speaker 4 (00:59):
Man. Yeah, big one this weekend, baby big one. Yeah. Yeah,
super fat, juicy, super big.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Hey you get nervous, super big?

Speaker 5 (01:10):
No, no, man, it disappoints me sometimes when you try
to play it off cool.

Speaker 4 (01:19):
This is a big one. This is it like, this
is like the whole season is on the line.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
You win this one, said Franklin yesterday when I interviewed him,
I was like, you do know this is the season
quite Franklin, quite frankly check it out.

Speaker 5 (01:32):
But I mean you, I'm not saying you gotta be nervous,
but you gotta be excited for it.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
Right. I'm excited, absolutely so at the Blue and White game, right,
so they stripe it out.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
It's it's it's the stripeout game, which dude, Happy Valley God,
it's got to be top three for me. Like stadiums.
It's pretty dope, man, It's it's so dope. Yeah, I've
been here, like you said, I got here Tuesday for
a Saturday came.

Speaker 5 (02:00):
I would say, Kneeland's up there, Happy Valleys up there.

Speaker 4 (02:06):
I'm trying to think where else. I mean.

Speaker 6 (02:10):
Lionard said it was one of the best experiences he's
ever had going to a college campus in state college.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
It is. Yeah, Wisconsin. Wisconsin's cool too, Yeah, pretty cool.
I don't know that I put it up there with them.
I've heard. I haven't been Athens.

Speaker 5 (02:24):
Athens is awesome, but we need to do this certain schools, man,
they just do it right.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
Next year we need to we need to go on
a well I guess because you work.

Speaker 4 (02:34):
We could have been the Jonas is just he doesn't travel.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
We need to figure out how we can do this
in different different stadium settings or different places for college football.

Speaker 6 (02:45):
Graduate Hotels first audition with Graduate Hotels, their first location
was Athens. So you know there's a lot of tie
ins here. And obviously you're at the Graduate in State college,
and obviously we're doing this show live from the Tyraq
dot com studios. I mean, how about that ti iraq
dot com will help you get there, an unmatched selection,
fast free shipping, free road has a protection and over

(03:06):
ten thousand recommend at installers. Tiraq dot com the way
tire buying should be. So it is two pros and
a cup of Joe. Here on Fox Sports Radio, it's
LeVar Arrington, It's Brady Quinn, it's Jonas Knox, and we
have been all over press coverage on this Michigan sign
stealing scandal which has taken every twist in turn over
the past couple of weeks, and now we find ourselves

(03:29):
at a spot where Michigan has officially sent its response
to the Big Tens notice of disciplinary action. This according
to a source talking with ESPN that Michigan's ten page
response to the Conference was focusing on urging Tony Pettiti,
the Conference commissioner, to respect the due process and argue

(03:50):
that a sanction at this stage would be breaking the
league's bylaws and effort to lay the groundwork for potential
legal intervention. If Jim Harbaugh is suspended this.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Week, translation, y'all kick rocks and we ain't doing s.

Speaker 6 (04:04):
And also here's a couple of screenshots of other teams
stealing our signs too from last year. If we want
to play this game, I mean, come on, man.

Speaker 5 (04:11):
Well this this goes back to the original point that
I was trying to make either earlier this week, last week,
Who the hell knows whenever this all started.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
Which, by the way, I'm so tired of this conversation.

Speaker 5 (04:21):
Man, Like we like this conversation comes to the forefront
and will continue to as the media perpetuates it when like,
we've got some huge football games to be played. And
I understand there's probably some people out there who think
this plays a huge role.

Speaker 4 (04:38):
The dude's not even on the staff anymore.

Speaker 5 (04:41):
Like all these teams the past couple of years has
changed signals and signs as they should regardless, I mean
throughout the course of the year. That's just how you
should do things. I just I don't know, man, I'm
so tired of talking about it. But they're not the point. Well,
the point that all that all make is we talked
about the whole issue of precedence here. What I find

(05:03):
interesting about the comments from Michigan is they're pointing out
the fact that like this goes on other places too,
and unless you know they're all doing it above board,
are you gonna investigate everyone and make sure that other
people aren't doing the exact same thing we were doing,
or if teams are sharing the information they're getting with
one another about us, like is that legal? Like there's

(05:26):
so many different rabbit holes you could go down in
having this sort of discussion, and so it's going to
take time to investigate to solve this. Now, the simplest
way is just coach the quarterback, You put the radio system,
the helmet. You know it's over, Like you're not going
to be as concerned about sign stealing like that of
this matters in the future, and hopefully in the bowl

(05:47):
games will do that.

Speaker 4 (05:48):
But the other thing that really Michigan's is low key doing.

Speaker 5 (05:52):
Is they're kind of threatening litigation right like, they're threatening
with lawsuits. And if there's one thing we know right
now the NCAA does not want to have to deal
with is that they can't touch ANIL.

Speaker 4 (06:05):
And it's why they haven't been.

Speaker 5 (06:06):
Able to do anything from a legal perspective, because the
Supreme Court already ruled nine to zero that it's allowed.
And so all they've done is provide guidelines and they
really haven't had, you know, any instances where they've they've
been able to use any teeth to hurt a lums, schools, collectives,
et cetera. As the landscape has changed state by stay

(06:27):
with NIL laws. So just the threat of any sort
of legal action too also probably would scare off the
NCAA being like, Yeah, this is not another fight that
we want to bite off right now because we realize
that this could be a much bigger issue.

Speaker 4 (06:42):
So whether it's the Big.

Speaker 5 (06:43):
Ten or even the NCAAA, you better believe Mission is
going to feel like it can defend itself if they
don't feel like there's any evidence out there, and maybe
they don't feel like there's much evidence out there at
least that's what it seems like they're posturing and saying.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
In this case, I could tell you this without having
any real factual information, the NCAAA could find themselves being,
you know, looked at in the same exact way that
Michigan's being looked at for wrongdoing. How much wrongdoing would
there be uncovered if people started really digging at and

(07:20):
peeling away layers of what the NCAAA has going on
as it applies to let's just keep it to college football,
because we could go college basketball as well, I mean,
and if we were to really start removing the layers
and start pulling back the curtain on on what the
practices of how some things are handled. The NCAA doesn't

(07:44):
want any smoke when it comes down to that type
of that type of scenario playing out, you know, because
people could start snitching on the NCAAA. What are they
going to do? They're already like schools don't want to
deal with them anyway. There's already commonsas of you know,
the conferences actually becoming their own governing bodies, you know,

(08:06):
and and so how does that look? How does that unfold?

Speaker 4 (08:09):
There?

Speaker 5 (08:10):
There may be more conversation about there being one overarching
governing body that comes from the college football playoff, and
I think you'll you'll hear more information about that soon
about maybe putting in the structure that you see in
the NFL, and that's coming very very soon, but you'll
have to wait for the announcement here the next week

(08:30):
or so.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
Well, there you go, spoiler. I'm I'm interested in that,
and that sounds pretty good. I'm gonna have to start
asking some questions when I leave this office after I
finished this, uh this broadcast. Yeah, that sounds curious right there?

Speaker 6 (08:46):
Do you guys think that the longer this plays out?
And look, Michigan reportedly sent the screenshots over that Ohio
State Rutgers and.

Speaker 4 (08:56):
Pretty just pause for a second.

Speaker 5 (08:59):
The fact that it's screen grabs, like very similar to
how we all communicate stuff to one another screen grabs.
This is the way like Michigan's communicating, like, oh all right,
we're sending screen grabs back and forth of whatever evidence
we've got or whatever. Right, Like, it's no different than what
every guy sends on the other group text or the
different screen graps.

Speaker 3 (09:18):
Very relatable. It's something everybody does every day.

Speaker 6 (09:20):
But like if they're sending this stuff over the longer
this plays out, because Dan Wetzel had the point via
Yahoo yesterday where he said, look, either nobody's guilty or
everybody's guilty. And I think the more that people have
started to calm down and taken a step back and
looked at this, the more you're starting to hear from
the guys this goes on all the time, and other

(09:41):
places crowd.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
Like this is not the end of the world.

Speaker 6 (09:45):
This is not, you know, doom and gloom for the
Big Ten or for college football. Like, the more this
plays out, it just comes off as these teams being
really desperate and not having answers for why they can't
compete with Michigan in this conference. Like that's how That's
how neads to me now at this point to where
they're just they don't Maybe they don't like Jim Harbaugh,
maybe there's bad blood, but it comes off as people

(10:07):
that are looking for any reason to try and get
some sort of an edge on Michigan because they can't
beat them on the field.

Speaker 5 (10:13):
Dude, it's a Spider Man meme, like everyone's playing at
each other. It's like, no, you don't know, it's you.
You did this or you're doing this, well aren't you
guys doing that? Like everyone's doing the same thing, just
in various ways. What's up for debate here is how
Michigan was obtaining the signals. And the funny thing is
is a lot of people feel like the stuff that's
coming out from Michigan. They have a guy who was,

(10:36):
you know, analyzing signs stealing that came out and said, well, actually,
what Michigan was doing was antiquated and it probably wasn't
even giving them an advantage. You know, it almost came
out like the flake Gate. People have kind of compared
this to the flake Gate. Well, the funny thing about
the flake Gate was, and this is what like people
who didn't read the report failed to understand, deflate Gate

(10:57):
proved that, yes, the Patriots ball they were playing with
were deflated below the legal level.

Speaker 4 (11:04):
Good sorry, good good. It wasn't that funny, but it
was science.

Speaker 5 (11:11):
The science actually proved that Tom Brady was playing at
a disadvantage because the less deflated the ball was, the
harder it was to the accurate downfield throwing the football.
And if you looked at his numbers after the Flay game,
they only got better, not.

Speaker 4 (11:24):
Worse, so perfect perfect he's he apparently, but it's no different.

Speaker 5 (11:30):
It's like, well, okay, maybe even the system they're doing
was an incredible waste of time.

Speaker 4 (11:34):
Maybe it wasn't helping them at all. I mean some
people want to say, oh, it made a huge advantage
for it, Well did it?

Speaker 5 (11:40):
This dates back to before they've won the past two
Big Ten championships. Connor Stallions was on their staff long
before that, and they weren't having success versus hos State,
they weren't winning Big Ten championships. Then there's just so
much information that we still don't know, don't have, and
yet everyone's rushing to make a conclusion about this.

Speaker 6 (11:58):
It just comes off as desperate, man like it really
like it's you remember when Tyson Fury beat Deontay Wilder
and after the fact, Deontay Wilder claimed, well, you know
the cost of my ward of the ring was heavy
and he took out patting and his gloves and you know,
I got bad. I got to switch trainers. And it's like, no, dude,
you just lost like that, that's all like you're looking

(12:19):
for every other reason why you couldn't beat him, And
that's what this feels like. To me that these teams
can't beat Michigan. And by the way, one of the
early reports was everybody knew about it this year, so
they switched up their their signs and they switched up
their calls and everything. Okay, if that's the case and
you're still getting your ass beat, then what like, what

(12:40):
are we talking about now? Just it feels like this
was done because some teams can't compete on the field
with Michigan.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
They're probably the best they've been this year as a team.
So you can played it about him. They're probably the
best that they've been. Like the quarterback McCarthy is a stud.
They're they're running game. They got Korum there, he's a study.
They got another guy I forget his name, I mean

(13:08):
I could they got on the running back, Yeah, Edwards.
Edwards is a stud there there, offensive line are studs.

Speaker 4 (13:18):
Their defense they have studs.

Speaker 1 (13:20):
Like this is the probably the most complete team that
hardball has had since he's been there. And it's just
kind of interesting that this would be the year that
people are are like freaking out or whoever they are
that are freaking out over Michigan stealing signs this much.

Speaker 4 (13:37):
Man if.

Speaker 5 (13:40):
Mike Yrsi doesn't allow Drew Aller to open things up downfield,
I'm gonna go nuts, and I'm probably it's probably gonna
come in the form of text messages to you, LeVar,
or if we're gonna be watching this together, you're probably
gonna be somewhere else. I'm calling the game, so I'll
be so then it's gonna come via are of text

(14:00):
messages to you, and I'll be very very.

Speaker 4 (14:03):
And it's not because because any rooting interest.

Speaker 5 (14:06):
It's like I said before, it's it's it's like watching
you know, someone have a ferrari all right and instead
ride their bike around. You're like, dude, take the ferrari
out of the garage, all right, take.

Speaker 4 (14:18):
It for a spin. See how much fun that is? Man?
I know you like to ride the bike. Better for
the environment, all that.

Speaker 5 (14:23):
Take the ferrari out everyone in a while, all right, Like,
just let the young man toss the football round.

Speaker 4 (14:30):
That's all I want to see.

Speaker 1 (14:33):
Hey, listen, I I'm I'm excited to see what they
do because I think that everyone around here. The feeling
I get is everyone is aware of what's at stake,
and and everybody hears what's being discussed and that's one
of the main topics of conversation.

Speaker 4 (14:53):
So I think there's something.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
To staying true to to the identity that that you're building.
Because I'm not with these guys every day, I don't
know what what the idea of or what the approach,
the methodology of what what your chich is is thinking
and how he's approaching it. I just I know that
they were looser, and and they were were much more

(15:19):
in my opinion, open to taking taking shots and being
more aggressive. I don't know if that was drew or
if that was by design, but they looked really impressive
against Maryland lest I thought it was going to be
a tougher game, a much closer game, but they overwhelmed
Maryland and and so I feel like coming out of

(15:41):
a game like that, they really really have the confidence
that I believe it's necessary to be able to go
into a game, which by the way, is at home.
I think they're going to be tough to beat at home.
I really do. I think you'll be. I think you'll
be happy with if you're looking at it from perspective,
I think you'll be. I'm hoping you'll be happy with

(16:03):
what you see. I'm hoping I'm going to be happy
with what I see as well.

Speaker 5 (16:09):
Here's the final thing I'll ask Jonas, Yeah, last time
I checked, and you can let us know what DraftKings
has that now. But I think it was what for
four and a half Penn State was getting at home.
That's correct which way you're leaning there, sir.

Speaker 3 (16:23):
Gotta go Michigan.

Speaker 6 (16:27):
I got just because I feel like I need to
see something from Penn State on a big stage against
either Ohio State or Michigan before I'm ready to buy in.
And I think Michigan's pissed off. I think they're motivated.
I think they're going to come out and they're going
to have something for Penn State based on all the
reports and the allegations, the reckless allegations against them.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
That's how I feel about it.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
Well, I mean, I don't found out to be offensive
that that they have to prove it. I mean that's
the sentiments of a lot of people that are even
within the Penn State community that it has to be proven.

Speaker 4 (17:03):
But that's football.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
I mean, there shouldn't be any reason to be offended
by that or to run away from that challenge.

Speaker 6 (17:10):
That's a lot of fuel what I want to know,
is is weather going to impact the game? I'm seeing
temps around forty degrees and the total on the game
is at forty five, right, So that's where we're at.
So I just wonder, are we going to see a
low scoring game? Because if we see a low scoring game,
wouldn't that I don't.

Speaker 1 (17:26):
Think weather isn't going to have any impact on it.
Weather's not going to have any impact on this game.
It's going to be it's not going to be warm, warm,
but it's not going to be bad weather. It's going
to be dry. And both of these teams are cold
weather teams, so this isn't even a cold weather game.
This is it's going to be cold for you know,

(17:46):
the civilians watching, but it's not going to be cold
for these players. So I don't think weather's going to
play a part in it, not at all, all right, Yanna?

Speaker 6 (17:54):
So now, LeVar, you're calling the game for radio with
TJ Reeves former Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
It's actually someone else. I thought it was TJ. It's
someone I'm calling you.

Speaker 3 (18:05):
He texted me earlier this year. I said you were
in two games together, but.

Speaker 4 (18:08):
Yeah, you already did one together, didn't you yes, so you're.

Speaker 6 (18:12):
You're calling the game. Now, let's let's play this out.
The game ends around what do we think a little
before four pm Eastern time? Like that's what we're looking at. Like,
at what point are you walking through the doors of
Cafe two ten with a LeVar Island in your hand?

Speaker 3 (18:28):
After that game? What are you think of? Like around six?

Speaker 1 (18:31):
See, I do a stick City tailgate though, So I'll
be at the Spike Stadium where the baseball team, the
minor league baseball team is. I'll be there before and
I will be there after. And it will not be
a pretty site, just one way or the other. And
I guarantee this win or lose, I will still celebrate

(18:53):
my team in my school or lois. Yeah, it will
not be a pretty sight. I'm just I'm saving up
for this one. I'm drinking a lot of water, all
kinds of stuff, Gator rades.

Speaker 4 (19:05):
You know what you getting like ivs too?

Speaker 1 (19:08):
Yes, I probably will get one on Friday night. Yeah,
I love it. I will get an ivy slay Man.
Better be proactive than reactive, you know what I'm saying. Yeah,
And you know, because I don't need my toes and
my ankles hurting because I didn't take care of myself.

Speaker 3 (19:23):
And take some element packs. You know those are those
are s great? Yeah, I'm ready to go.

Speaker 4 (19:28):
Man.

Speaker 6 (19:29):

wherever you get your podcasts.

Speaker 6 (20:34):
Hey there, two pros and a cup of Joe Fox
Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you
Coming up later on this hour, we'll call it less
than twenty minutes from now, We are going to have
our week ten edition of over Unders. That is a
Thursday tradition as we look ahead to Thursday night football
between the awful Bears and even worse Carolina Panthers. And
we've got a couple of picks for you, some over

(20:56):
underpicks to get you set for that game. Coming up
later on tonight. That'll be yours here again, coming up
about twenty minutes from now from the tire rack dot
Com studios. So we do have some more information on
the latest development involving J. C. Jackson of the New
England Patriots who was traded and according to Tom Telesco,
the general manager of the Chargers, who talked all the

(21:18):
defensive backs in La after the move was traded, because
you know, he just didn't really work all that hard.
It was a swing and a miss signing the five
years eighty somethingter million or whatever it was that J C.
Jackson got to leave New England to go to LA
to play for the Chargers.

Speaker 3 (21:35):
Well, j C.

Speaker 6 (21:36):
Jackson is not going to be traveling with the Patriots
to Germany for their game against the Colts this weekend.
And this is after the NFL Network reported that he
was demoted from the starting lineup this past week versus
the Commanders because apparently he missed hotel curfew before the game.
So I don't know about you guys, but it does
sound like he got paid and he's just like eh,

(22:00):
ever and we'll wrap things up.

Speaker 4 (22:02):
I mean, I would say this, this is probably the
last shot though for J C. Jackson.

Speaker 5 (22:07):
Right, He's back at the place where you had the
most success, and you know, after getting paid going elsewhere,
they bring him back, and look, the Patriots need him
to play well. I think he needs to play well
moving forward. And this is one of those moves you
kind of make and say, we're like, look, man, we're
giving you an opportunity now to you know, reflect on
some things and see how you want this to go

(22:28):
moving forward. But this is the last opportunity I think
he will get to be able to stay on And
you really don't want to develop that reputation if you're
missing curfews and all that and you're a guy that
where you really build up the most equity with the NFL,
where now that team doesn't want you anymore, like you
need other teams out there advocating for your services. And

(22:51):
you know when teams call about what kind of guy
is this guy? Oh, he is a great team guy.
You know, a great locker room guy, good player, you know,
follows a scheme. You want, you want all those things
being said about you. If things don't work here in
New England, that could be troubling looking forward.

Speaker 1 (23:05):
I mean, I don't think there's too much to I
mean that kind of sums it up. I don't think
there's a whole lot of meat on the bone about it.
I mean, especially if you're saying, you know, with everything
that has transpired for him to end up where he's
at in New England and you're you're making you know,
crucial mistakes, like understand how crucial a mistake of missing

(23:28):
curfew is And just to put it in context, if
you guys recall a Dailius Thomas was late for a
meeting because of the weather. Like, if there's one time
that you could say you can excuse being late, it
would most likely be when it's inclement weather, you know,

(23:51):
situation circumstances, And and Belichick still was not okay with that.

Speaker 4 (23:58):
It's a big deal for.

Speaker 1 (23:59):
Sir, certain organizations and pretty much most every program for
you to be on time, because on time says that
you're the first level of respect is there, the first
level of commitment is there. So to be late means
that you just don't have a level of respect for
what's going on on on every level. So to me,

(24:20):
I don't think that there's too much more to be
said about it. How are you going to be late
for curfew?

Speaker 6 (24:26):
I mean, I don't look, I don't know J. C. Jackson,
but this feels like at some point down the road
later on in his life, he's gonna regret how this
whole thing wrapped up in the.

Speaker 3 (24:38):
NFL for him.

Speaker 6 (24:39):
Like, I wish somebody would have pulled me aside and said, hey,
you know that tattoo you're thinking about getting right now.

Speaker 3 (24:43):
You don't don't do that because you're like, yeah, like
just you know, don't don't do that.

Speaker 4 (24:49):
Well, why don't you get it removed?

Speaker 6 (24:50):
I just it's too much work to be honest with you,
Like I want a reminder every day of bad choices
I made.

Speaker 3 (24:57):
You know, he don't make that choice ever again. Need
that reminder.

Speaker 4 (25:01):
That's actually the most honest thing I think you've ever
said on the.

Speaker 6 (25:03):
Show, just like I mean, and there's not many honest
things I've said, so I mean, it's not really competing
with much, but like I wonder like somebody could pull
JC Jackson aside and said, hey, man, like I look
back on my NFL career and I don't want to
have any regrets, and so I did it this way.
You're gonna look back on yours and you're gonna have
a ton of regrets about the way things ended.

Speaker 3 (25:24):
And yeah, you got his contract.

Speaker 6 (25:26):
But he's only twenty seven years old, Like this is
a blip on the radar in his life. He's gonna have,
I mean, worked multiple decades after this to think about damn,
I should have done it different here, And I just
I almost feel bad for the guy that this is
the way this thing's gonna go. Because to your point, Brady,
this is it like what other opportunity is gonna get

(25:46):
if the Patriots If it doesn't work there and he's
missing curfew after the GM for the Chargers just outed
him at a team meeting. I just I don't know, man,
Like it feels like this is a regrettable time for him.

Speaker 5 (25:57):
Like you could be as talented as it gets in
the NFL, and then that will get you so many opportunities.

Speaker 4 (26:02):
But the team that that.

Speaker 5 (26:04):
Drafted you or the place where you had the most success,
once that team stops kind of signing off on that endorsement,
it just becomes harder for to stick because you have
to understand front offices and scouts and so forth, all
the people involved and making those decisions. It becomes incredibly

(26:26):
difficult for them to put their reputation on the line.

Speaker 4 (26:30):
And that's what you're talking about.

Speaker 5 (26:31):
When you bring in someone who's got, you know, potential
issues in the past or hasn't worked out for you know,
a marriyaud of reasons, those guys are going to be
saying that I'm not good.

Speaker 4 (26:40):
I'm not willing to put you know, Hey, Jay C Jackson.

Speaker 5 (26:43):
I'm not gonna you know, there's concerns like that, Like
that's what ends up happening. Like, once you're viewed as risky,
there's not many dudes who want to put the reputation
on the line for you.

Speaker 4 (26:53):
You know, if you have.

Speaker 5 (26:53):
Poor place somewhere else or something else, that's what happens.
Like they just they lose faith and they look for
reasons to sign you, you know, not for reasons to
sign you. So hopefully it works out. Hopefully it's a
wake up call for him. Uh, he's a heck of
a player, and I think he'll be able to help
out the Pats, at least defensively speaking. All I think
their offense might need a little more help in their defense.

Speaker 4 (27:15):
Yeah, at this point that.

Speaker 3 (27:16):
Maybe you can play receiver that like, hey, I can
help that.

Speaker 5 (27:20):
I mean, hell, dude, his last his last year when
he was in New England, he was basically playing receiver
against other offenses. He had about seven picks or whatever
it was that last year he was there.

Speaker 6 (27:29):
Yeah, he over a two year stretch, he had seventeen interceptions.

Speaker 4 (27:33):
Yeah, he led the league the one year and then
next year he's like right up there again.

Speaker 1 (27:37):
Maybe Yeah, somebody shows you who they are, believe them.
So I will see this on that because this was
this is a trip to Germany, right, Yeah. So I
just talked with a media member who went over to
Germany and he said not fun, not not as much fun,
said the language barrier is pretty high as compared.

Speaker 5 (28:02):
To obviously going over to London, which was his previous experience.
And then he also talked about how just the the
culture is like very different, Like it wasn't like it
was kind of more like a work week, you know,
like it felt like it like it. I guess the
difference was when you go over to London, it felt
like it's more kind of you know, hanging out, sightseeing, partying,

(28:22):
that sort of thing. And it was like, no, it's
like people people in Germany were like they're in the
middle of the work week and like football was there,
but they're like all right, cool, but we're moving on
with the next thing.

Speaker 6 (28:33):
So, like, what would you get if you guys went
over to Germany and you could eat something? What would
you just go like pretzel? Like, I'll bet they have badass.

Speaker 3 (28:40):
Pretzels, just giant soft pretzels.

Speaker 4 (28:42):
Why really would the pretzels be the first thing that
come to mind.

Speaker 3 (28:45):
I don't know, I have a thing for pretzels. Lee
knows this, like I love soft.

Speaker 9 (28:49):
People love pretzels.

Speaker 6 (28:50):
I don't know, but I think I think growing up
that was always in the free Why.

Speaker 4 (28:56):
But are soft pretzels of German food?

Speaker 3 (28:58):
I think, aren't they?

Speaker 4 (28:59):
I don't there.

Speaker 6 (29:00):
Or Bavarian Bavarian pretzels, right, Yeah, I meant, well, it
just seems like of the region. Yeah, I mean, it
seems like it would be something you can.

Speaker 9 (29:09):
How about sing schnitzel.

Speaker 3 (29:11):
What is that?

Speaker 10 (29:12):
Schnitzel is either like pork or it's usually pork and
it's like breaded and fried.

Speaker 3 (29:18):
It's very good schnitzel. Yeah, schnitzz is great. I don't know.
I just feel like.

Speaker 6 (29:23):
A soft press because growing up in our freezer we
always had like that little pack of frozen pretzels you
can just put in the microwave and heat up.

Speaker 3 (29:32):
I'm like dipping and mustard.

Speaker 10 (29:33):
Every time I've been to an October fest in this country,
at least I've never been to Germany. There's always pretzels there,
So I think I'm pretty sure it's something reason and
they're thirty six ounce.

Speaker 3 (29:41):
Beers, right, damn straight. Yeah, and you gotta hold those
out to the side. Yeah. Are you going sausage of
our yeah?

Speaker 4 (29:49):
Stein, Yeah, sausage.

Speaker 5 (29:52):
What are you going with, Brad? Are you gonna go sauce? Actually,
I'll go with the Jona Snocks diet. I'm just gonna
drink beer and water over there.

Speaker 3 (29:58):
Great call.

Speaker 4 (29:59):
I'm just telling you.

Speaker 6 (30:01):
And by the way, tell tell us previously mentioned media
members complaining about the language barrier. Dude, do your research.

not that hard. So coming up next here it is

Speaker 2 (31:00):
With your money where your mouth is, I have been.

Speaker 7 (31:03):
You know you're a lion low life game.

Speaker 2 (31:06):
It's over under a right.

Speaker 3 (31:08):
Lead to lab How are we looking after last week?

Speaker 9 (31:10):
Got to go close one last week after Buddy, we
had a of course, we always start with the point
total of the game, which was at thirty seven. Hit
just under that at thirty six because of the Pittsburgh
win of twenty to sixteen. Jonas and Brady, you guys
took the under all the time.

Speaker 4 (31:24):
Yeah, ah right, good, oh yeah, that's wonderful.

Speaker 9 (31:27):
We also had passing touchdowns for Will Levis at one
and a half, big old zero for Will Levis. He
hit the under on that again. Jonas and Brady, you guys, yeah,
top Brady, oh.

Speaker 4 (31:38):
Top right, all right.

Speaker 9 (31:40):
We were wondering if Kenny, if another quarterback would take
a snap for the Steelers because Kenny Pickett was a
deal with that rib injury. But in fact, Kenny Pickett
was the only one who took a snap under center
as a quarterback.

Speaker 3 (31:51):
For the Steelers.

Speaker 9 (31:52):
That was Brady and LeVar after one.

Speaker 4 (31:55):
Oh, top LeVar, Yeah, yeah, there you go, high five right, yeh.

Speaker 9 (32:03):
Consensus all the way around that DeAndre Hopkins would hit
the over for receiving yards, which was set at fifty
three and a half. He had four receptions for sixty yards.
So good job everybody on the over.

Speaker 4 (32:13):
Yeah, I'm top guys.

Speaker 3 (32:14):
Yeah, all right.

Speaker 9 (32:17):
And then for the last one, everybody differed on this one.
We had a before after a neither on first shot
of a Primanny Brothers sandwich. I watched it through two
times just to make.

Speaker 4 (32:27):
Sure I did eat at priman He's yesterday though.

Speaker 1 (32:31):
That's a good Oh hell yeah yeah, I had the
big fish.

Speaker 3 (32:36):
Hmm bam boom.

Speaker 4 (32:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (32:40):
So I ended up being one behind Brady and Jonas Tide.

Speaker 9 (32:45):
You did take them neither, Yes, it did not show up.
I thought I saw Andrew Whitworth at least holding up
a sandwich, but I was incorrect.

Speaker 6 (32:51):
Can I be honest? I think LeVar should be disqualified
from that last question. I mean, you got to answer
it specifically before or after, and he's going neither, which
is like a borderline air.

Speaker 4 (33:01):
I know what's going on.

Speaker 5 (33:03):
I just technically, by the way, based on the mat there, league,
Jonas and I didn't tie.

Speaker 9 (33:08):
Uh you know, LeVar and Jonas tied. Brady, you won
four and one.

Speaker 5 (33:11):
Sorry, yeah, I'm just making sure Jonas know he did.

Speaker 4 (33:15):
He didn't know. Oh, sorry, make sure Jonas I knew
I didn't win.

Speaker 6 (33:20):
I think it's a results under protest. I don't know
if I can trust some of the tallies here. You know,
I feel like I got a couple of more of these, right,
I think it was five and oh, to be honest
with you, But you know again, I'm an honest guy,
and I'll play this game.

Speaker 3 (33:33):
So that's fine. I'm willing to go.

Speaker 6 (33:35):
Ahead and concede a three and two weeks even though
I went five and oh.

Speaker 3 (33:38):
That's fine.

Speaker 9 (33:39):
So just to give a tally here, LeVar, you still
maintain a lead fifty two and one with a one
point lead over Jonas. Brady, you made up some ground there.
You were one point behind Jonas, so we're all within
two points.

Speaker 6 (33:52):
Okay, right by the way, LaVar, you split twenty two
and a half, you know what you get?

Speaker 1 (33:57):
Stick City get eleven baby, right, yeah, yeah, you get
twenty two up here. And that's John Capilltti. Yeah you
know who John Cappeletti is. Jonas Knots. He's the only
one that ever went to heisman at the school.

Speaker 4 (34:12):
Nice.

Speaker 1 (34:14):
Yeah, that's a serious dude, right there, shouts out the
cap and I didn't and then not that the cap
that you were thinking, Oh, all.

Speaker 4 (34:25):
Right, guess yeah, I got awkward there.

Speaker 1 (34:28):
I didn't mean for there to be an awkward silence there, Like,
let's go league, got there.

Speaker 9 (34:32):
We got Panthers ad Bears to kick off Week ten,
Bears three point favorites. But the point total for the
games at thirty eight.

Speaker 4 (34:38):
Over under under under under.

Speaker 9 (34:41):
Wow, All right, guys, we'll just move right along. Passing
touchdowns for Bryce Young.

Speaker 3 (34:45):
Is at one and a half over under under.

Speaker 9 (34:50):
Moving along interceptions for Tyson Bagent is that a half.

Speaker 4 (34:56):
It over me?

Speaker 6 (34:59):
I know why I'm gonna take the under. I think
they're gonna rely on the run here.

Speaker 1 (35:06):
I think they're gonna it's gonna be a heavy.

Speaker 6 (35:15):
And by the way, he did play well early on
last week at New Orleans. It was that fourth quarter
that really just came up and bit him in the ass.
So I'm gonna take the under. I've got faith in
Tyson Bagen. By the way, how about him getting all
the prime time games? Like Justin Field's looking around going hey, man,
like where were these when I was playing?

Speaker 4 (35:34):
Said he's getting They were there for him to be playing.

Speaker 3 (35:38):
Yeah, bad rag.

Speaker 9 (35:39):
He's hurt though, fellas in a revenge game for DJ
Moore receiving yards for DJ at fifty two and a half.

Speaker 4 (35:48):
I'm gonna steck the under. I mean, he's the one
guy you're trying to take away. If you are, I'm
gonna say the under. I will tell you said that
with so little I don't feel good about it. I'm

(36:10):
gonna take the under.

Speaker 3 (36:13):
I'm gonna take the over there whatever way more confident
last week.

Speaker 4 (36:19):
You're good on this one.

Speaker 9 (36:20):
You don't worry about the first shot of the Chicago
food item before or after halftime?

Speaker 4 (36:26):
Under?

Speaker 3 (36:29):
I mean before you know I heard you.

Speaker 4 (36:34):
I mean Chicago food. What's it gonna be dish?

Speaker 3 (36:37):
She's gotta be right, beef sandwich?

Speaker 4 (36:40):
Are you gonna say neither? No, I'm not gonna say neither.
I'm not gonna say either. I'm gonna say before.

Speaker 1 (36:50):
Yeah, I'm gonna say I'm gonna say under on that
one too before before half time.

Speaker 3 (36:56):
Now do we get extra points if we can guess
which item it is? I'll give you.

Speaker 9 (37:00):
Bonuside if you could guess which food I keep dish.

Speaker 4 (37:03):
I mean, I'm gonna go because that's what it was.

Speaker 3 (37:06):
I said it first.

Speaker 4 (37:06):
Well you could do that. So I'm gonna go with
a hot dog. I'm gonna I'm gonna go. I'm gonna
go rogue.

Speaker 6 (37:12):
Hey, so if it's not about if it's not a
hot dog, LeVar loses three points off the season total.

Speaker 3 (37:18):
Right.

Speaker 4 (37:20):
That, it's then you lose ten.

Speaker 3 (37:22):
I mean, it's in the bylaws. I'm looking at him
right here.

Speaker 4 (37:25):
That's not How is that what you're looking?

Speaker 3 (37:27):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (37:28):
Okay, you are you doubting the I'm doubting you, like writing,
I got these laws for your buys. Damn ta ba
bang bang bang.

Speaker 6 (37:42):
All right, well we'll figure it out in another hour
hour threes next here on f SR
