Speaker 4 (01:10):
Good job, good job because it was so good. I
mean good job, don't.
Speaker 3 (01:15):
Yeah, yeah, because I mean he's the only one that does. Uh,
you know, the reads good on this.
Speaker 4 (01:20):
That was kind of what I was alluding to. But yeah,
you know, but you did a great job on that
tire rack read right now.
Speaker 3 (01:28):
I just you know, LeVar is coming at me for
some reason.
Speaker 4 (01:32):
I don't know what do you mean. I was giving
you a compliment. You did, You did lay the points
with Michigan.
Speaker 3 (01:39):
Yeah, but what do you want from me? I'm looking
at at reputation and until I see Drew Awler used
in the proper form and do not.
Speaker 4 (01:47):
Tell you to stop using his name? Man, did I
tell you to stop saying it?
Speaker 1 (01:51):
Well?
Speaker 3 (01:51):
As soon as they start using the chosen.
Speaker 4 (01:53):
Do you do you want me to like like see
you the next time I see you, like, stop using
his name, bro, I didn't already warrant you once.
Speaker 3 (02:01):
As soon as they start using the chosen one in
the proper form and fashion trying.
Speaker 4 (02:06):
To be funny, and when I see you in a
thumb wrestle you to sleep. I don't say I didn't
warn you about saying his name. You are out of
your parameters to say his name. It actually brings up
a good question.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
If you were a thumb ring and you getting a
thumb wrestle match, you have to take off the thumb ring.
Speaker 4 (02:24):
He doesn't. Someone who would would be of a higher
level of thumb wrestling probably would have an unlike advantage.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
Would the ring provide an advantage? Unfair advantage?
Speaker 4 (02:36):
Mind? You Q you know that, but everyone would be
using a thumb ring anyway, like we've seen it done before,
so you know you'd have to adjust to that.
Speaker 3 (02:46):
It's like in h and Brady taught me this, like
in the UFC. In the UFC most most if you're
gonna deal with a grap you don't want to wear
like any sort of knee sleeve or ankle sleeve because
it gives you something onto.
Speaker 4 (02:59):
So I tell you that or that's just common sense.
Speaker 3 (03:03):
I mean, let's just be real, no, I mean you yeah,
I don't know. Just listen, I learned from you when
it comes to combat sports.
Speaker 4 (03:12):
I think you learned that from common sense.
Speaker 3 (03:13):
That's what you want that from I mean, whatever we
want to call it. Common sense would say that al
Michaels is not going to be happy about Thursday night's
game coming up later on.
Speaker 4 (03:22):
Harp on it over Thursday, Let's talk about the guys
coming back.
Speaker 3 (03:26):
Okay, Like Kyler Murray's coming back, all right, I did.
Speaker 4 (03:30):
Of course, you have to bring him up.
Speaker 3 (03:32):
What do you mean.
Speaker 4 (03:34):
You gotta bring him. It's a short stint into the
second you got to start bringing up and shortly coming up.
Speaker 3 (03:44):
All right, I'm excited to see Kyler Murray come back.
I want to see how he plays. I want to
see how he performs.
Speaker 5 (03:51):
All right.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
I'm not sitting here gonna take.
Speaker 4 (03:54):
Too little of him this year. It's it's gonna be
a big stage, all right when he comes back.
Speaker 3 (04:00):
It is going to be a big stage. Ah Ah,
you're terrible. You're just terrible. Now, do you do you
think there's going to be any because when's the last
time we've seen a quarterback come back from the injury
he suffered that was primary. I mean, his skill level
(04:21):
is his feet like if we like, I know, I'm
trying to think Deshaun Watson came back, but he is.
I'm just wondering what this form of Kyler Murray looks like,
like can he be as effective if he doesn't have
the ability to move around, especially early on, because this
is what they say, the second year is really the
year you start to get back to feeling like you're better,
like you're more close to the player you are. So
(04:44):
I just wonder what this form of Kyler Murray is
going to look like for Arizona.
Speaker 4 (04:48):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
Hopefully they can protect him because there, you know, Dobbs
had to take off for about three first downs a game,
it's about what he was averaging, and even Clayton Toon
had to run for his life versus Cleveland.
Speaker 4 (04:59):
So hopefully they protective.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
But they might get James Connor back coming back to
that would be a huge help for the running game
and probably won't anything else. Like I'm most curious to
see Minnesota Dobbs will start again this week justin Jefferson
could be coming back soon.
Speaker 4 (05:15):
They're still in.
Speaker 1 (05:15):
The hunt man like that to me is one of
the best stories right now in the NFL, and as
far as an NFC team that could make a run
in the playoffs with a guy who was on two
other teams earlier this year and fighting through excuse me,
everything else they fought through this year with injuries. I mean,
they just lost cam Akers to our torn Achilles. It's like,
(05:38):
I would just think it's incredibly hard to deal with
the amount of losses they've sustained and yet still have
a shot to make the playoffs.
Speaker 4 (05:46):
It really is incredible.
Speaker 3 (05:48):
I mean, of all the teams that are potentially the
seventh seed in the NFC, they're the most interesting, because
in contention would be Washington, Atlanta, Tampa Great. It's just like,
then we start to get to the bottom of the barrel.
Come on, dude, like, can we get Minnesota in there
and start rooting for Josh Dobbs That that's the better
story for the NFC because other than that, the AFC
(06:08):
has got a much better lineup of playoff teams projected
at this point, much better conference. We're gonna be honest
about it.
Speaker 4 (06:16):
The AFC has been competitive. But I liked I like
what I see. I like that Dallas Dallas Eagles game.
I did. I'm I'm I'm slowly coming around on Dallas.
He slowly.
Speaker 3 (06:36):
Couple of years now he's in.
Speaker 4 (06:40):
I mean, I'm not in I said, I'm slowly coming around.
There's some there's some opportunities there. I think this is
a super, super pivotal week for for San fran But
because I thought for a moment, I think a lot
of people thought at a moment that SAM was not
(07:01):
only the best team in the NFC, but could have
possibly been the best team in the NFL. And and
so they've had such a slip. It's it's been interesting
to see that happen. I don't I don't know where
they end up, but I would assume that they're going
to write that ship. And if they do and they
can get back to the early form that they were in,
(07:23):
then you know, you got a couple of teams. I don't.
I'm not that down on the NFC, even though I
look at some of these teams in the AFC, like
you know, Kansas City, they they find ways to win,
they find ways to win, but they haven't been dominant.
I mean, their defense has been phenomenal to say, to say,
their defense has been phenomenal and really has been in
(07:46):
a lot of ways the catalysts for their team. And
I would assume that that's the best team in the
AFC right now. Wouldn't we say that? So I mean,
I mean, I don't know. You wouldn't what team would
you say? Well, maybe the Bengals are the hottest, but
they're in life place.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
Baltimore is kind of Baltimore is good.
Speaker 4 (08:02):
But I don't trust that. I don't. They're dangerous. They
are dangerous, But what I mean, what gives us the
confidence that they won't fall off the cliff like they
have done in the past. I just, you know, I
like Baltimore. I have put my reputation on Baltimore multiple
(08:24):
years on saying what they're going to do, and they
always let it go at the end of the year.
I don't know what they're going to do at the
end of the year, so I don't. I'm okay with
the NFC. I'm okay with the parody of the NFL
where it's at right now.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
How surprising is it for you guys that we're ten
weeks into the NFL season and the Chiefs are still
looking for answers on offense.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
It's surprisingly because they've you know, kind of had a
track record of success being able to find that guy
who's you know, I identified himself outside of Kelsey, right,
I mean, I guess last year they brought in Juju
Smith Shoesterwing a one year deal.
Speaker 4 (08:59):
He kind of, you know, filled that role.
Speaker 1 (09:01):
Before that, I was Tyreek Hill, who you know, it
wasn't like he was a top round pick coming out.
You know, he had had his issues off the field.
He was a converted running back to wide receiver. He
had elite speed, but he was tiny, like no one
knew how he'd grown in the position, and then he
became one of the league's best. So they've been able
to find some guys, and I think that the crazy
thing is just like with Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes
(09:24):
and very similar to Tyreek Hill, is like we're always
looking for the next Tyreek Hill.
Speaker 4 (09:27):
Now we're like, oh, who's gonna be him?
Speaker 1 (09:29):
Like we people were kind of hinted at that with
Sky Moore when he came out, which he's not the
same speed one and similar stature in size, but not
the same player. They kind of, you know, made that
comparison a little bit with Kadarius Tony and thinking that
he could be kind of that player. It's just it's
tough to replicate what Tyreek Hill.
Speaker 4 (09:48):
Brings to an offense. So they're still looking for that
piece to emerge.
Speaker 1 (09:54):
I think the good and bad is this, there's still
enough time for that piece to emerge and that player
to step up and become that with the rest of
the season. The bad side of that is that if
it doesn't, you're basically looking at a Kansas City team
that I think we saw last week the formula first
success against this offense, and as you take away Travis
(10:14):
Kelcey and you really are gonna have to rely on
them moving the ball methodically down the field. And I
don't know that that's what Andy Reid or Patrick Mahomes
wants to do. And I think they can win that way.
They've proven that, but you know, it becomes a lot harder,
I think, to feel as confident in their ability to
have someone to rely on outside of Kelsey to make
a play when it's asked of them, and that and
(10:36):
that that's obviously what they're gonna need to do if
they want to win another Super Bowl.
Speaker 4 (10:39):
Yeah, and then they're gonna have to rely on their
defense to be as Stutley they asked. They asked Mahomes
this past week, is this the best defense that that
he's seen on on the Kansas City's team, and he
said I think he rebuttaled or replied with, this is
(11:00):
probably the best defense in the league and they're gonna
I mean, they're really good. Man, Spaggs is really dialing
up some some really good good pressures. He's he's calling
some really really good games.
Speaker 3 (11:13):
Cleveland's pretty good.
Speaker 4 (11:15):
Cleveland is really really good, and and they yeah, they're
really good. But listen, Kansas City's defense is the real
deal as well, and if they can continue to play
at the level they're playing, I don't know that a team,
even if you prepared and say we're gonna stop Kelsey,
(11:38):
I don't know that a team can stop Kelsey. I
don't know that you can. There's a sacrifice that takes place,
and that sacrifice is if you do what it takes
to stop Kelsey at any given moment in time, Mahomes
could make you pay with somebody else that maybe not
obviously not as good or as talented it as Kelsey,
(12:01):
but would have the opportunity to make plays because you're
too busy chasing Kelsey around trying to figure out where
he's going to be, and there's no telling where he's
going to end up.
Speaker 3 (12:11):
I mean he's a little distracted this year, not so much.
Speaker 4 (12:14):
I'm she's very much. Yeah, but they lost when she
wasn't there. I want her back in the stand, Lee.
Speaker 3 (12:20):
Can you look this up? I think Travis Kelcey is
traveling to like Argentina? Is it Argentina?
Speaker 4 (12:26):
That's true?
Speaker 3 (12:26):
Yes, yeah, on his bye week to go uh you know,
follow her around and.
Speaker 4 (12:31):
You know, well he has to return the favor. Now,
the question will be will they give Travis Kelsey as
much attention? Will they cut away from her concert to
continue to show Travis Kelcey celebrating her during her concert.
Speaker 3 (12:45):
Don't think he's a bouncer. They don't know who he is.
Come on on that.
Speaker 4 (12:50):
On that level, bruh, you're gonna know who Taylor Swift
is holding hands with and spending time with. You're gonna
know who he is because the guys are going don't
want to be him and the girls are going to
be like, oh my gosh, if Taylor likes him, I
love him too. They're going to know who Travis Kelsey is.
They're not going to think he's a bouncer. Jonas. That
(13:10):
will only be in Argentina. Absolutely, I don't know, and
I hope that pays off for Kelsey in Argentina. Maybe
he is known well in Argentina. I mean he was,
he will be. I don't know, he will be because
he gonna get.
Speaker 1 (13:25):
Known there though. It's not like it's Taylor. They're like
showing him the sides.
Speaker 4 (13:29):
Oh, he's probably been in tabloid's over there. He's been
on the you know, the inside Edition stuff over there
in the Argentina in Argentina, the Argentina version of it.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
Yes, yeah, you haven't heard of that, Brady.
Speaker 4 (13:43):
It's called Inside Edition in Espanol. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (13:48):
It's called good Morning Buenos Aires. And they it's like
runs Monday through Friday from like seven to ten local time.
Speaker 4 (13:55):
Is that right? Why are you being serious? No, he's
not being serious. You're kidding me.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
I was buying What are you talking like? I'm just
buying in for two seconds that you guys are concerned
about this. I'm more concerned about the Toush push.
Speaker 3 (14:09):
I'm just telling you right now, what's the problem?
Speaker 4 (14:11):
Ye false trying to get rid of.
Speaker 1 (14:12):
It, slowly moving it out, empsizing the alignment of the offense,
calling more off sides.
Speaker 4 (14:21):
They're trying to slowly eliminate it.
Speaker 3 (14:23):
I wonder if Jalen Hurts would be upset if they
got rid of it.
Speaker 4 (14:26):
Of course, he wouldn't know he's benefitted.
Speaker 3 (14:29):
From it, and he looks like he's been beat up
every time he gets done with it. He seems like
it's kind of a rough go for him. He's the
guy getting pushed.
Speaker 4 (14:37):
Do you not think that he would say to the coaches, listen,
we need to stop doing the toush push. It's beating
me up. You don't think that he would say that.
Speaker 1 (14:45):
No, oh please, no, I'm just telling you these the
officials now are specifically looking at the neutral zone to
see where those guys hands are and if the offensive
linement are in it. This is what the NFL does,
remember the replay rule to pass interference, and they just
(15:05):
officiated in a way where by the end of the season,
no one was challenging past interference because like, well, it's
not gonna change one way or another, right, And it's
where they're doing the same thing now with the tush
push because it's becomes so controversial.
Speaker 4 (15:18):
I think they're trying to slowly phase it out with this.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
It was a fun, run, good era of football.
Speaker 4 (15:23):
You think he just got popful in this past week, right.
Speaker 3 (15:27):
You know, it's like the Wildcat era. It was fun.
Speaker 4 (15:29):
You look sounds like you're happy about it. Jonas.
Speaker 3 (15:32):
I just I would like to see Jalen Hurts play
a long, successful career, and instead they throw him at
a wood chip or four or five times a game
every time they can't pick up three feet and he's
got to walk around with his bum knee. I think
it's taking years of his career. I don't like it.
Speaker 4 (15:47):
I mean, it is odd.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
Dude, he like basically lunches forward and then they just
carry him and shove him.
Speaker 4 (15:51):
Hold on, stop y'all, Let me stop y'all hair, Let
me stop y'all, because if y'all say anything else more
and it seems derogatory towards Jalen Hurt, y'all might get attacked.
I want to save y'all from any type of criticism
maybe lobbed your way. Why I'm trying to protect you.
I'm trying to protect you. People could be critical of
(16:11):
Daniel Jones. We can't say anthing about Jayleen Hurts. You
can't say anything about Jalen Hurts. Trying to protect you.
Speaker 1 (16:18):
Cue by the way, we're not talking about Hurts. We're
talking about the actual play.
Speaker 4 (16:22):
I know, but but y'all started talking about Jalen Hurts,
and I just wanted to make sure it's gonna fall off. Yeah,
I know. But then it kind of turned into like
it's like, okay, well can he not make plays any
other way other than using his legs? Like I'm just
saying you said that, I'm just being you know people, Hey, Jonas,
you're picking up what I'm putting down. But it's all right,
(16:45):
all right, you know, it's all right. I just know
that Big Bro is here to look out for y'all's
best interest because I do not want y'all being attacked
unjustly or unfairly in the media circles that you guys reside.
Speaker 3 (16:58):
Yeah, I mean our tail. You are right, that's for sure.
Speaker 4 (17:02):
I'll tell you you are right for certain. I got
my tale, you right.
Speaker 1 (17:07):
Can I ask this question because I'm unaware of this,
but either I'm assuming Lee Iowa Sammer. Maybe Jonas knows this,
but Ben when he does his show, does make it
known it's a live read, does he? Yeah, he says
live read, but he does it. Well, we're about to
do a lot we finished, but I was saying, why
(17:28):
is that?
Speaker 6 (17:29):
Uh yeah, you know, he's being meta, as they say
or what. He doesn't always do that, but he will
sometimes he's just saying. He's like saying something that is
supposed to be kept kind of behind the it's like
for open for everybody breaking the fourth wall.
Speaker 4 (17:45):
Okay. You know, I don't know if that's like a
thing or not. Like I was like, all right, well.
Speaker 3 (17:52):
I mean I'm not reading anything like I To me,
what we do here is like a way of life.
So I don't know why anybody gets this. I read
stuff from that mumble job.
Speaker 4 (18:02):
That'll be ten Come.
Speaker 3 (18:03):
On, pulling back the curtain. All right, it is Two
Pros and a Cup of Joe here Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (19:11):
Right now, we welcome in our guy, Albert Breer, senior
NFL reporter at the MMQB. You can get him on
X or Twitter, whatever you want to call it at
Albert Breer. Albert, good morning. How are we feeling good?
Speaker 4 (19:23):
Good?
Speaker 9 (19:23):
How you guys doing.
Speaker 3 (19:24):
We're good.
Speaker 4 (19:25):
We're just trying to figure out why, you know, Ohio
State is trying to sabotage Michigan man. That's you know,
that's been a conversation in this one, Lvar, I hate
y'all equally.
Speaker 5 (19:40):
Trying to trying to try to support you guys this week.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
You know, Alberta, Alberta, I think I can anticipate what
you're going to say.
Speaker 4 (19:49):
You're probably going to say, oh, this is just a
smoke screen or whatever else.
Speaker 1 (19:52):
But what do you think about the allegations that Michigan saying, Hey,
we've got screen grabs and pictures of other school in
the Big Ten who have stolen our signals.
Speaker 4 (20:03):
Here's the proof. I mean, how do you take that news?
Speaker 5 (20:06):
That sounds like when you get in trouble in third
grade and you point to somebody else and say, see
he was doing it too.
Speaker 9 (20:13):
You know, no one likes to snitch.
Speaker 1 (20:17):
Well, would you say Michigan started like everyone started snitching
on Michigan first. I mean, I'm using your own argument here,
albert I'm just I'm asking the question.
Speaker 5 (20:27):
I mean, I like, I don't know, I mean, I
guess what were the rumors out there that want.
Speaker 9 (20:31):
Of Michigan zone snitch on them? That's what I thought.
Speaker 4 (20:34):
I think that's what Save fans thought.
Speaker 5 (20:36):
Yeah, yeah, I mean I don't know that was what
was floating around out there. I'm just telling you what
I heard, Brady.
Speaker 3 (20:41):
Yeah, wow, listen.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
I mean the good thing is we get the game
to coming up, like not only this week Penn State Michigan,
but then Michigan Ohio State.
Speaker 4 (20:48):
I mean, I guess my question is.
Speaker 9 (20:50):
Going to be wild. I mean, Wilson is gonna be
wild with all the.
Speaker 5 (20:54):
Sleep talking back and forth. Like I actually think I've
been pretty.
Speaker 9 (20:58):
Level about this, don't you, guys. I mean I've really matured.
Speaker 5 (21:01):
I I've handled this like very above bored, I.
Speaker 9 (21:04):
Would say last month.
Speaker 5 (21:05):
But I don't say.
Speaker 4 (21:06):
Something, oh wow, here we go. Yeah, I just I
don't know.
Speaker 1 (21:09):
I mean, do you think this makes the case though?
If Michigan wins for a third straight year, though, it'll
be blamed on this, and so maybe like Ohio State
fans would give Ryan Day a pass.
Speaker 9 (21:20):
I'm not gonna like, I'm not gonna project how my
where my emotions are going to be a November twenty
sixth eally for that.
Speaker 5 (21:26):
But uh yeah, you know, like I said, I just
trying to handle all of this above board, Brady, I'm not.
Speaker 4 (21:32):
Answer the questions.
Speaker 5 (21:33):
I mean, there's like there's like an MS I think
there was like an old MSNBC host that was kind
of unhinged on Twitter.
Speaker 9 (21:38):
And you know, I I just you know, I don't think, uh.
Speaker 5 (21:42):
Don't, don't don't. I don't want to conduct myself that way.
I'm just like I think November twenty six, my emotions
could be in a number of different places. I'd hate
to pin myself down to one thing.
Speaker 3 (21:51):
Very many here. That's a very measured approach play this game.
Speaker 5 (21:58):
That's what I'm known for, Jonas, that is what I'm
known for being measured.
Speaker 1 (22:02):
Listen, I get it's almost like you're a lead content strategists.
Speaker 4 (22:05):
It's almost like you've got that sort of title.
Speaker 3 (22:10):
Hey, Albert, I got to ask you because we were
discussing just in regards to this awful game coming up
later on tonight. Could these coaches? Could these coaches find
themselves on the hot seed? And I guess we don't
even have to just look at it as these two,
but just in general around the league, now that we're
in the second half of the season, which coaches can
you identify that you believe maybe coaching for their jobs
(22:31):
down the stretch.
Speaker 5 (22:33):
Yeah, I mean, I certainly think near Chicago is one
place that a lot of people have their eyes on
and looking at it and saying, could there be some change.
There's obviously a staff issue early in the year with
the defensive coordinator, you know, so you know, as it
chef ever flues, you know, what they take the GM
out to. I've heard like Kevin Warren might be looking
(22:55):
to get a little bit more involved in football as
a team president, So that's something to watch there too.
Speaker 9 (23:01):
You know.
Speaker 5 (23:02):
Washington, I think is the obvious one that everybody's been
looking at for a while now, and that's like it's
not even like really about Ron Rivera. It's about there
being new ownership there and maybe new ownership wanting to
bring in their own people. You know, history tells us
that almost always a new owner within a year or
two is going to clean the place out and bring
(23:22):
in his own people.
Speaker 9 (23:24):
So that'd be another.
Speaker 5 (23:24):
One, you know. And then I like, I think Caroline
is one that's like sort of on the radar just
in that again, it's like relates ownership where David Tepper
isn't real pleased with more things have been over his
first five years in charge, and he's very very involved
and like I know, you know, some people inside that
(23:46):
place over the last few years have felt like it's
really hard on people. Rightfully, so it's his team. You know,
he can conduct himself out he wants. But you know,
certainly I think a lot of Frank Reich's future there
and you know, may not be fair after a year,
but a lot of like how you David Tepper ces
Frank Reich is gonna be relative to how how Bryce
(24:08):
Young plays down the stretch and does Bryce Young look
like he's getting better? And you know, fair or not,
how does Bryce Young look in relation to how CJ.
Strouds looks in Houston. I think those are all questions
to be asked. And obviously, as you guys know, these
standalone games can have a real set too. Again, that's
like one of those things that may not be fair,
but you know, the Thursday night, the Sunday night, the
(24:31):
Monday night games, a lot of times, if you come
out and you look bad on a national stage, it
can have, you know, sort of a bigger effect than
a normal loss at one o'clock on a Sunday would.
Speaker 1 (24:41):
Yeah, crazy, how they're not build equal that way. I
want to ask you what the New York Jet situation
sounds like. You know, Robert Sola, Front office maybe they're
not on the same page in regards to what's happening
with Zach Wilson, whether that's for the rest this year
or after this year, it seems like there's just kind
of some I don't know if it's miscommunication or yeah,
odd answers to some of the questions what's going on there?
Speaker 5 (25:04):
Yeah, you know, Brady, I think I think Roberts. Roberts
logic on this whole thing was if they benched Zack
Wilson again, they can't go back.
Speaker 4 (25:12):
You know.
Speaker 5 (25:12):
And so it's it's about how well Zach Wilson plays,
but it's also like you've already messed with the kids'
development enough over the over the first two years of
his career, and Zach Wilson put himself there, right, But
he's also he's been yo yoed in and out of
the lineup so much that once you take him out
of the lineup again, it's going to be really hard
(25:34):
to sell him back to that locker room is the answer,
And that's why it really comes down to what's behind him.
It's do you think that Tim Boyle or Trevor Simeon
can be your answer for the next eight or nine
weeks or however long it takes, until you know, Aaron
Rodgers could come back and they could get back in
the lineup, And are those guys good enough to put
(25:55):
yourself in a position where you're still contending, because obviously
he's not going to push himself back out there if
you're out of the race. So, as much as anything else,
Robert Sola's logic here, I think is twofold. It's one
you know that you know, once you go away from
Zach Wilson again, it is probably gonna be really really
hard to ever go back. And then two, what you
(26:15):
have behind him isn't great And look like you're gonna
ask the questions a fair one. Should they have been
in on Josh Dobbs right, you know, I know they've
kicked tires on guys like Colt McCoy, you know, like,
so are their answers out there? Maybe, But based on
what's on their roster right now, you can see where
it's like, okay, like we're gonna ride our defense and
(26:37):
hopefully Zach can make a few throws in the fourth quarter.
I can understand why the coaches would see that as
a better answer than going with Tim Boyle or Trevor
sent mean.
Speaker 4 (26:46):
I'm gonna hit you with one A B and this
might be far out, but let's let's let's see how
you handle it. Your San Francisco forty nine ers are
staring four losses in a row right in the face.
Is there any conversation bubbling up about party and and
(27:06):
and this San Francisco team and what what what's next
if they go four losses in a row?
Speaker 5 (27:14):
Not right now, because I think Kyle has a lot
of confidence and it sounds like this is a test
for bar when you said, Liz, come on, yeah's see
how I do here. Yeah, I think Kyle's got confidence
in Brock, and I, you know, as much as as
fun as the idea of throwing Sam out there it
would be, you know, I I do think that there
(27:34):
is still confidence in what Brock can be.
Speaker 9 (27:37):
Now.
Speaker 5 (27:37):
I think this becomes a different conversation if they get
Trent Williams back in the lineup and Deebo Samuel back
in the lineup and it still doesn't look good right,
But I would argue Trent Williams, who they've played without
the last few weeks, is probably their most dispensive and
indispensable player. On the entire roster, just based on what's
behind him, how hard it is to replace left tackle
(27:59):
like I think he'd be.
Speaker 9 (28:01):
He's the guy that.
Speaker 5 (28:01):
They could at least to force four to lose. So
they lost him for a few weeks, and they've been
without Deebo Samuel, who is so important to what they
do offensively and helped free them up to do different
things with Christian McCaffrey too, So, you know, I think
it was predictable that it. You know, there was a
little bit of a step back from Brock perty from
Brock Purdy there when those two guys went out of
(28:23):
the lineup. So I don't think that conversation's happening in
San Francisco right now. I do think it becomes a
different thing if you get Trent Williams back in there
and Deebo Samuel back in there, and Broxville hasn't playing well,
but I think they expect that he's going to take
a step back forward with those two guys back in
the lineup.
Speaker 3 (28:41):
Albert, before I let you go, I got to ask you,
you know, watching c J. Stroud and Baker Mayfield go
back and forth last week and seeing c J. Stroud
out dual Baker Mayfield. Did you get personal joy out
of that? Knowing Baker Mayfield's history at the Horseshoe in Columbus, Like,
did you get like that make you feel a certain way?
Speaker 5 (29:00):
I mean, I just, I just I just felt good
that CJ wasn't getting cheated out of the wind, you know, like,
oh wow, Well, I mean, I mean, I I you know,
I guess the criticism CJ coming out of college now
has to pivot to He's and two when the other
team has its plays.
Speaker 1 (29:17):
Right, Oh wow, saying above board though Albert, Well, listen,
I think we just having fun.
Speaker 9 (29:27):
With you guys.
Speaker 5 (29:27):
Hey, look like I I would say this like I
I am. I was blown away by the way that
he played down the stretch of that game, like I
I don't know, like as much as we've talked about him,
and I'm surprised to see it this early in his
career too, Like I did not see this coming, you know,
like the the drive of the degree of difficulty and
(29:49):
the drive at the end of that game and the
two throws that he made the tank out and.
Speaker 9 (29:54):
Kind of what went into those throws.
Speaker 5 (29:55):
I've been able to talk to some people there and
some people on staff and what went into that, how
he kind of saw like lazy coverage in the backside
from Tampa and took advantage of it on the twenty
sixth yarder to Tank. And you know, just the degree
of difficulty of what he pulled off at the end
of that game was very, very high for a rookie.
And I'm sure Brady you can speak to that. I mean,
(30:16):
I I was. I was really really impressed with what
I saw.
Speaker 9 (30:19):
At the end of that game.
Speaker 4 (30:21):
Yeah, I already set them Offensive Rookie of the Year.
Speaker 1 (30:23):
It's over, you don't He didn't have to play another
snap the rest of the year, and you should still
get it.
Speaker 5 (30:28):
I mean, I got I'm doing a poll of executives
right now mid season awards, and I've got twenty six
ballots in this is like general manager's assistant gms like
those types of people, and other twenty six ballots CJ's
Offensive Rookie of the Year. On every one of them,
there's one split vote, So Pokinakoa got half a vote
from one personnel.
Speaker 4 (30:49):
But it's not even close. It's not even close.
Speaker 5 (30:52):
Yeah, I know, I know.
Speaker 3 (30:54):
So tell Less needs stop having bias for his own guy,
and just vote vote the right way on this. All right, Albert,
We appreciate it, and we know which side you're leaning,
with Ohio State a thirty one point favorite over the
vaunted Michigan State Spartans this weekend. So at, Albert Breer,
you if you disagree with anything you had to say
here on this show, felt like it was all above

board on Twitter.

I won't Yeah, You're good.
Speaker 3 (31:23):

What even to know?
Speaker 2 (32:56):
If they're in a please four?
Speaker 9 (32:58):
If they're out?
Speaker 3 (33:00):
I lead the lap? What do we got?
Speaker 4 (33:01):
Guys?
Speaker 11 (33:01):
We've been talking about it. Panthers had bears for Thursday
night football. But I gotta ask of all the stuff
you're in or.
Speaker 3 (33:07):
Out on with Chicago cuisine? Are you in or out
on Deep Dish.
Speaker 4 (33:10):
Pizza and overrated Buyday?
Speaker 3 (33:15):
Do you guys like the Marinara sauce on top of
the pizza Chicago style, or you still like the cheese
over the top.
Speaker 4 (33:22):
I like the cheese over the I just like it.
But I still like Chicago style.
Speaker 11 (33:29):
I don't like that big, huge flat sausage that takes
over the entire top.
Speaker 3 (33:34):
Gotta miss that up.
Speaker 4 (33:36):
Dish creeps me out. It's too thick. It's uh, it's
like a pie. It's like the lasagna, you know. Yeah,
well then I'm gonna go with lasagna instead.
Speaker 3 (33:50):
Well, how do you like your pizza?
Speaker 4 (33:51):
Laard normal? I like pepperoni pizza, and like you know,
I like some I like mine to be wet. I
don't like a drop pizza. I don't like a little
bit of cheese or a little bit of marinara sauce.
I like it to have a good amount of sauce
and a good amount of cheese, with some pepperonis and
mushrooms stuff. That's my deal.
Speaker 9 (34:09):
You know.
Speaker 3 (34:09):
Sometimes I'll even get marinaar on the side and dip
the pizza in the marrina.
Speaker 4 (34:13):
Yeah, no doubt, no doubt.
Speaker 3 (34:16):
It's like what you do with bread. That's what garlic nuts.
Speaker 4 (34:19):
What are you doing about garlic nuts? It's not nuts?
But what do you mean. I thought they were garlic not.
I'm just saying they're not like chips and saucy. You're
dipping the pizza.
Speaker 3 (34:29):
Yeah, but if I don't, if I don't get enough,
if the manara isn't equal to the cheese and the
and the bread, then I need to have a little
on the side.
Speaker 6 (34:37):
It's just tomato sauce, isn't it. Yeah, but you can
dip pizza in Marinara. It is delicious, Okay, pizza sauce marinera.
There's a couple that are different. It's like more garlic
and what basil or something.
Speaker 3 (34:53):
Oh, I'm just.
Speaker 4 (34:54):
That's not that's not true. It's not. I mean, but
the sauce that you can dip your pizza in comes
in those little Marinara sauce dipping like their dippers. That's
Marinara sauce.
Speaker 6 (35:09):
Yeah, yeah, but they don't use Marinara sauce in pizza
underneath the cheese.
Speaker 4 (35:14):
I didn't know understand why we went. I like you
dipping your I'm with you, and thank you. Come on,
what's I'm out on? What's that? I'm not a hot
salt guy.
Speaker 1 (35:31):
You guys, the experience and threw it up, can't eat them,
can't do it?
Speaker 3 (35:36):
Peppers on top of it.
Speaker 4 (35:40):
I get it. It looks like it'd be advertised. I'm
not in the relig I'm definitely not into relish, but
I'm certainly in on on getting you know, Chicago style. Allright,
can move on from Q choking on the Chicago hot dogs.
Speaker 3 (36:02):
He doesn't like hot dogs? What do you want to
super Sam that he likes hot dogs?
Speaker 1 (36:08):
He's being honest, horrible, he's gagging off of the hot
dog conversation.
Speaker 4 (36:13):
Let's move on. He's supposedly throwing up. You're right, all right,
keeping it rolling.
Speaker 11 (36:19):
Me and Sam just saw a story that Craft of course,
Crafts Cheese is unveiling the new grilled cheese and tomato
soup dumplings. So it's like a pretty much a grilled
cheesy concoction which makes up the paste, the pastry and
then tomato soup inside.
Speaker 3 (36:34):
Is That's how I'm guessing it looks.
Speaker 4 (36:36):
It's too complicated to me. I want to like it,
but I don't. I'm out.
Speaker 3 (36:40):
I mean, I like a grilled cheese and tomato soup.
Speaker 4 (36:43):
I'm in on that. Yeah, I'm I'm on that. It's
just kind of complicated.
Speaker 3 (36:49):
Plus it's fun to dip it in, especially when you
cut it and you get the corners you dim.
Speaker 4 (36:53):
Isn't that the point of doing tomato soup and and
grilled cheese is the whole dipping process. You take out
the your favorite parts. Right, Why are you robbing us
of the experience of eating grow cheese with tomato soups?
Taking it weird?
Speaker 3 (37:07):
Taking out a step going right to it?
Speaker 4 (37:09):
Alright? What else I'm not with it? Do you have
anything else.
Speaker 3 (37:14):
Other than food?
Speaker 6 (37:15):
I got tons of foods you skipped over Chicago item
Italian beef, Italian beef.
Speaker 4 (37:20):
Oh yeah, I'm not into Italian beef.
Speaker 6 (37:23):
Wet dip it.
Speaker 4 (37:28):
Eat Italian beef, don't.
Speaker 3 (37:29):
I don't think I've had Italian beef. You gotta get it.
Speaker 1 (37:32):
That's shocking given all the different foods you've been in
your life.
Speaker 4 (37:35):
That's true.
Speaker 11 (37:36):
I know, I gotta find a place that hasn't.
Speaker 3 (37:38):
I've never seen.
Speaker 1 (37:38):
It on a has had African beef.
Speaker 3 (37:47):
I have had African beef.
Speaker 11 (37:48):
That's a difference to African beef.
Speaker 4 (37:53):
How does not get in trouble for that?
Speaker 3 (37:55):
Because I know you're talking about the rules. You like beef,
don't just you.
Speaker 4 (38:03):
Love that beef
