Speaker 2 (01:15):
So it's been a wild show.
Speaker 4 (01:16):
We started off the show talking about that wild game
last night in Buffalo where somehow someway the Buffalo Bills
loss of the Denver Broncos.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
The Bills came.
Speaker 1 (01:27):
In, they turned the win over, get it, they turned
it over, Yeah, to the Bronx.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
That's a great point. I'm with you.
Speaker 4 (01:36):
Okay, Now, Brady Quinn, I do have to ask this,
that was very beneficial to you right in your battle
with the great Pete Prisco.
Speaker 5 (01:44):
Yeah, baby, yeah, I mean, look, we both had the Bills,
but he had that particular game as his best bet.
So I'm sure he will whine and moan and complain
about it. He's done this for the past three weeks now.
As he's gone down the past three weeks, he always
Here's what he'll say, and this is like a common
like loser bet comment is he'll go, oh, I was
(02:08):
on the right side of the bet. I lost, correct,
That's what losers say.
Speaker 4 (02:13):
I do it all the time. I wouldn't change a thing.
I was on the right side of it.
Speaker 5 (02:17):
I was on the right side was always on the
right song. I'm like, okay, but I mean I don't
tell you we can't go back and replay the game
or you know, change the call, Like that's just that's
how the cookie crumbles.
Speaker 4 (02:30):
Yeah, because it couldn't be that Peter myself or other
people who lose a lot in gambling. It couldn't be
that we just you know, didn't know what the hell
we were talking about when we made the pick. It
can't be that It's got to be their fault that
we lost the pick, and that's accountability.
Speaker 5 (02:45):
And so the backstory was he had we obviously had
the Monday night football game was our last pick, but
since he had it as a best bet, it counts
as double for your best bet. I had Dallas obviously
easy money. He took Buffalo for whatever reason, which when
we talked about the game too, and I said this yesterday,
like that was one where like I was like, man,
I don't feel overly confident about it, especially considering the
(03:08):
Broncos were off a bye. They've won two in a row.
The defense is playing so much better. Russell's you know
starting to get you know, playing better within this offense,
and the receivers for Denver, I thought can make some
plays versus the secondary for Buffalo because they are so
banged up. So I just I could have easily seen
that game being a close one where Buffalo wins, or
(03:29):
even obviously the upset like we saw with the Broncos
on Monday A football, So I don't know the gamblings.
This year has been so tough. The NFL has been nuts,
College football has been nuts. For the most part. It's
been really, really tough for a lot of people out there.
Speaker 4 (03:44):
I think, how where do you guys stand on Russell
Wilson year two in Denver? Because I find I find
myself rooting for him. He doesn't seems not the same.
Speaker 1 (03:53):
I don't. I don't get that deep with it. It's just
he's better. He's better under Sean Payton right now. Damn,
I mean, I get heared away. I'm rooting for him.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
You don't help he does.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
This was much malign. You know, it's dangerous. You know
Russ Berger and yeah, they start sandwiches, sandwich whatever.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (04:12):
What I didn't understand was that supposed to make it
to to light or was that supposed to not. I
wasn't sure how that whole marketing campaign worked out.
Speaker 4 (04:20):
I think they were slinging it at some places. They
just stopped doing it for some reason.
Speaker 5 (04:24):
Okay, I thought they like leaked it and it wasn't
supposed to be leaked or something.
Speaker 4 (04:27):
By the way, Subway's got a lot of balls, like,
oh you won't you won't have a Russell Wilson sandwich.
But you got Jared floating around town for all those years.
That guy's a scumbag and a half. They got a
lot of balls. And I'll tell you that right now,
that really didn't turn out the way it should have.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
I shouldn't have.
Speaker 5 (04:41):
No, it didn't. Although also your your name is Subway.
Now they have bulls. It's like you kind of already
admitted defeat there, you know. And if you start basically saying, yeah,
we're Subway, but you don't have to have a sub
you could have a bull.
Speaker 4 (04:54):
So it's just a it's just a bowl of sandwich
minus the bread.
Speaker 5 (04:58):
I mean, I mean people seeing radiings of what would
be in a sandwich.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
But it's just amazing to me that's disappointed.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
That's where the world has come to, like a HOGI
is I finally like I got back home to Pittsburgh.
I saw Home of the Destroyer HOGI and all that stuff,
and it's like, man like, imagine a HOGI without any bread?
Like people, y'all are losing your flipping minds out here,
man Like, enough is enough? Well call it a salad.
(05:26):
What do you mean a freaking a chef salad? What
are you talking about?
Speaker 2 (05:32):
If there's no bread, then it's like the cheese. Call
it a salad. Stuff.
Speaker 1 (05:36):
Yeah, stop saying it's your your sandwich and a bowl,
like it's not American.
Speaker 2 (05:41):
What's Home of the Destroyer Hogi? Yeah? What do you mean?
Like you got battleships? You got you got destroyers, that's
what they call them on the well, that's places place.
Speaker 5 (05:54):
Yeah right, hey, quick question. Have you guys ever had
a chopped sandwich? No? You know what that is?
Speaker 2 (06:00):
Or no?
Speaker 5 (06:02):
So you take all the ingredients like imagine they're making
you a sub, okay, and you literally take one of
those big knives and you dice it all up like small. Right,
So you take all of that, you dice it off small,
you shove it in the sandwich and then you go
ahead and you know, create your sandwich out of it.
You mix it, you mix it all in, so it's
(06:23):
it's almost kind of like a salad, like mixed together
the way it's all like, you know, kind of tossed
and chop together and then you throw it in the sandwich.
Speaker 2 (06:30):
Dude, it takes sounds pretty good.
Speaker 4 (06:31):
Fire that sounds, and it's probably better easier to eat
because the tomatoes not sliding off the piece of.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
Meat exactly exactly. Brilliant. Is kind of smart.
Speaker 5 (06:40):
Bro. I was eight month olds like having a sleep regression,
so I was like up in the middle of the
night last night just look at these different food things
on social media. It's like, oh god, that looks so good.
Speaker 2 (06:51):
Right now, you've had one of those before? Oh yeah,
they're the best.
Speaker 5 (06:54):
They're so good. I want to create like a franchise
off it.
Speaker 1 (06:57):
I mean that's pretty smart. Ones are like little delis.
Speaker 2 (07:02):
Yeah, where you find them. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (07:04):
By the way, I'm looking at this destroyer. Oh my god,
this thing is huge. Damn you look up a battleship, you.
Speaker 5 (07:13):
Know, I obviously can't ever take.
Speaker 2 (07:16):
Looking them up. He really is looking them up.
Speaker 5 (07:19):
I don't understand some weird stuff.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
And when you're from the burg, you gotta say you
want to go get some there's a place.
Speaker 4 (07:30):
Uh, when we used to go to the Ventura County
Fair growing up as a kid at Inventura up here
in the eight o five it was the great, the
Great Central HOGI Stand or someplace like out. Yeah, they
used to have close down though, Yeah, closed down. COVID
got that one too.
Speaker 2 (07:50):
Today.
Speaker 5 (07:50):
You're getting me too hyped up about this. There's a
there's a Hogey spots around the corner.
Speaker 4 (07:53):
Man is technically like a a an elongated burger.
Speaker 1 (07:58):
Patty right, or it is it's a paddy. I mean
it's it's like it's stretched out.
Speaker 4 (08:05):
Yeah, hog Man is there like a national HOGI daily since.
Speaker 5 (08:10):
We do the Hog's birthday today.
Speaker 6 (08:15):
Not today, but there there are hooky days. Yes, harder
bread for hogies.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
There you go, harder, harder bread.
Speaker 6 (08:24):
That's kind of Yeah. You say, like a hogy versus
a sub. They'll tell you longer. Yeah, it lasts longer
because it's longer.
Speaker 5 (08:34):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
You're just talking about.
Speaker 5 (08:39):
I was about ready to talk about the Spotts, which
is spot to.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
Make sure you get a Lvar hog and a LeVar alan.
My hands are clean on that one.
Speaker 3 (08:48):
Read.
Speaker 5 (08:48):
I guess we're allowed to say that, Sam, Is that.
Speaker 4 (08:50):
How the word?
Speaker 2 (08:51):
I read the rule book and I.
Speaker 5 (08:52):
Know about our kids, talk about our kids the.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
Rule books, and I know the rules. Sound did I?
Speaker 5 (09:02):
Yes or not?
Speaker 2 (09:03):
We're okay, here's okay, let's not twell, let's I did
not break any rules. I had no relations with that.
You the principal's back, man, didn't you mess around? Almost
filled my coffee? Just where's my ruler? Yeah? Right? They
(09:24):
really used to people.
Speaker 1 (09:26):
Can you imagine if we if kids were getting spanked
today at schools?
Speaker 2 (09:29):
Well, how would that go down with a big ruler? Right?
Speaker 1 (09:33):
Well, some people had the pickleball boar sticks to pickleball
was popular back in the day. Just not with pickleballs,
it was with you know, students.
Speaker 4 (09:43):
My brother when he was when he got to seventh grade,
eighth grade wood shop, because you had to design something
you could take home. He designed a paddle for my
mom to use on us, the younger kids, and he
made sure to put holes in.
Speaker 1 (09:57):
It because it doesn't it was this and yeah, my
mom had. My mom had one and it was called
the board of correction. You did not, she said, go
get the board of correction. That just sounds well, you
didn't want no parts of that. Just just you don't
want no parts of that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you.
Speaker 2 (10:18):
Were good for at least a good week or two.
You were good for. You were good for it to
be good for a little while. Once you got the border,
you were correct.
Speaker 5 (10:25):
The good old day.
Speaker 2 (10:26):
Yeah, yeah, you don't get corporal punishment no more. Man,
I didn't mean it. So last year Russell Wilson was
getting paddled. Yeah he was getting paddled.
Speaker 1 (10:43):
That's a great segue back in your absolutely correct.
Speaker 4 (10:46):
And this year the Broncos have won three or row.
They've just beaten the Chiefs. Now they beat the Bills
in prime time on the road. And so Russell Wilson
spoke after the wind last night, this.
Speaker 5 (11:00):
Is a huge one.
Speaker 7 (11:01):
It's a good football team we just played and obviously
the past couple of weeks we've been playing some really good,
good teams. And so to beat the Chiefs, beat these guys,
you know, set the standard of who we should be
and who we can be and who we're going to be.
Speaker 2 (11:13):
It's a great point.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
Let me ask you guys this, We did a what
if on stuff last hour or or would you rather
would you rather be? Russell Wilson in the Broncos right now,
or Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills Josh today, Josh Allen,
Josh Allen.
Speaker 4 (11:30):
I think there's more runway with with Josh Allen, like
Russell will talking about to day, like this season, are
you looking at.
Speaker 5 (11:39):
The Sierra coming to play?
Speaker 2 (11:41):
Sure, Oh, Russell Wilson.
Speaker 1 (11:46):
I mean I would have to concur I mean, I mean,
I ain't trying to be in a man's personal business.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
We shouldn't do that. But I mean I thought.
Speaker 5 (11:53):
Lar is gonna be I thought LaVar is gonna be
a lot more torn on that decision.
Speaker 1 (12:01):
If you're gonna throw that in there, that that that
pot is way, I'm about to say, satan the pot.
I didn't even do that. And it comes with fries. Yeah,
I'll take that works and a shake yeah, and it
brings them all to the yard.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
Damn damn. Right. Uh you know, I think I go.
Speaker 1 (12:23):
I'm just saying, I'm just bringing it back to like
the real conversation of why I asked it. Are these
two teams? Are these teams going in in the same directions?
Are different directions? I think Denver, like Russ said, I mean,
they did beat the Chiefs they did just beat the bills.
Speaker 5 (12:39):
Are you saying there ships passing the night?
Speaker 1 (12:40):
They might be ships passing in the night? Is that
Van Go? Didn't you do a painting call?
Speaker 2 (12:47):
Didn't go do.
Speaker 5 (12:48):
A painting call?
Speaker 2 (12:49):
Ships? Ships passing in the night? I think night? By
the way, that storry night? That you might be right,
starry night? Yeah, by the way, how Ben keep glasses
on his face? Oh?
Speaker 5 (13:01):
Here we go? What?
Speaker 1 (13:03):
I don't even know what Van Go looks like. I
know who Wolf game put is?
Speaker 2 (13:07):
Though.
Speaker 5 (13:08):
You got to stop disparaging the dead.
Speaker 2 (13:10):
I'm not there's nothing to spare.
Speaker 5 (13:12):
I'm asking all that jockeys cut this out.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
They put Van Go in his casket with glasses on.
I'm saying I got a thing about dead body. Yeah
you do. He only had one ear, so it was.
Speaker 8 (13:28):
Cut off the lobe.
Speaker 2 (13:29):
Nothing, just the tip, just the tip. You're not breaking
the rules? Who said that?
Speaker 5 (13:37):
How do you get away?
Speaker 2 (13:38):
I'm just saying that's what it was. It wasn't the
entire Sam. You sound a little hypocritical right now. So
he still had you could put les rest the glass.
Speaker 1 (13:48):
Were talking about tips, Sam, I'm just sad you didn't
say cut off.
Speaker 2 (13:50):
I'm talking about gratuity.
Speaker 5 (13:51):
Here, So are you He didn't.
Speaker 2 (13:53):
He didn't cut off the whole ear just the lobe,
the bottom part. Wow.
Speaker 4 (13:57):
Okay, well you know what? Okay, So yeah, maybe he
was wearing ear rings and they got ripped out.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
That's true.
Speaker 5 (14:04):
It was for his lover.
Speaker 2 (14:06):
He also he was also in the bin at the time.
I think the what he was he was in the
hospital at the time.
Speaker 5 (14:14):
Okay, there there you go.
Speaker 2 (14:16):
Dang, why are'all going to say the looney? The looney
up in Tokas you got? Man?
Speaker 5 (14:24):
Could you imagine if if someone was like, I love
you so much, I'm mailing your body part.
Speaker 2 (14:28):
Yeah, that would be the end.
Speaker 1 (14:31):
That's it depends on unless it's a picture, if it's
a picture in the envelope.
Speaker 5 (14:38):
If it's like, let's say Christian McCaffrey had a significant other, Like,
would that.
Speaker 1 (14:43):
Be would that be enough? If she were like, send
me your finger to show me your love.
Speaker 5 (14:48):
I don't. Let's just say that he potentially had a
significant other.
Speaker 1 (14:52):
And if he did and it was the significant other
that you would think it is? How far would you
be willing to go on that one?
Speaker 2 (14:59):
I mean, there, there's not there's I mean shipping and.
Speaker 1 (15:02):
Angling overnight overnight delivery. Here's a blank check, here's a
blank check.
Speaker 4 (15:09):
Fill it in, use my big pen and just let
me know what you need Amazon Prime, no problem, whatever.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
Anything off that port. What does the next day though,
you be cutting everything off? I mean just all of it,
you know, whatever? You whatever you got here, dang, you
can have it. You know you got it. I mean, listen, I.
Speaker 9 (15:34):
Love how we got here because LeVar front of Van Go.
I mean, somehow we just covered Russell Wilson, Josh Allen
to van.
Speaker 2 (15:48):
Go And is that the segment.
Speaker 4 (15:53):
Segment ay Lee for Best of Could we just play
this segment at the end of the year like what
we just did here?
Speaker 1 (16:04):
Destroyers I'm not even saying hammers anymore.
Speaker 2 (16:06):
It's gone. I visited Pittsburgh.
Speaker 1 (16:09):
I saw the HOGI the Hogy, the corner store HOGI
spot the home of the destroyers, the home of the
battleship And you know what I'm saying, battleships or destroyers
from here.
Speaker 2 (16:22):
By the way, when you call it corner store, that
kind of like warms my heart. Yeah, right, that's like
a throwback.
Speaker 5 (16:27):
Term a lot of those.
Speaker 2 (16:30):
Yeah, seriously, corner they do. I'm going to make one today.
In fact, ship they're going, you're making a hogy today.
I'm gonna make a chopped hog shredded lettuce has to
have shredded lettuce.
Speaker 1 (16:46):
I'm chopping. It's chop the whole thing. I'm a chop, Yeah,
chop that bad.
Speaker 2 (16:55):
Cheese melted in there.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
Oh yeah, I'm gonna get one of those nice, nice
buns too.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
It's basically a cheese steak. It's just chopped finer, right, Yeah,
that's why we love cheese steaks. I'm right.
Speaker 5 (17:08):
I mean I like the ingredients and cheese steaks.
Speaker 2 (17:10):
They can they chop it up, you know.
Speaker 5 (17:12):
Yeah, But that's not why I like the ingredients too.
Speaker 1 (17:14):
Yes, yes, of course. I mean I never thought to
do that, but I'm going to do it today.
Speaker 4 (17:19):
I just I love how they've taken a great like
American food item and been progressive with it, like the steak.
Speaker 5 (17:25):
Hold on before you get to that, before you get
to that, which I don't see that in the rundown.
But there's a lot of the rundown, but correct. This
was going viral last night, everyone comparing Josh Allen to
Brett Favre.
Speaker 1 (17:36):
Hmmm from throwing the ball too hard.
Speaker 5 (17:40):
So interceptions, you know there turnovers and then and that
I think both armstrength kind of gunslingger.
Speaker 2 (17:47):
Type all that.
Speaker 5 (17:49):
I mean anything for you guys.
Speaker 4 (17:51):
I had a joke in the hole st. I don't
want to get sued though. I had a joke in
the Holtster too. Yeah, and it was.
Speaker 1 (17:56):
Probably right down the line of what you were thinking, Joanas.
But I know you want to be progressively getting.
Speaker 5 (18:03):
Jonas. What's the difference? Like, I don't think Josh Allwen's
crocs is that.
Speaker 2 (18:07):
Well, you know, I'm assuming he's not silver yet. Well,
and uh might call Josh Allens silver fox yet.
Speaker 4 (18:19):
I mean, I I don't know what the status is
of Wyoming's volleyball courts, but you know, if there there
needs to be some sort of.
Speaker 5 (18:26):
Look at you going in? Can you see Shandon Sharp?
What is his court case?
Speaker 2 (18:30):
I don't know what you're talking that what it is,
I don't know what you're talking about.
Speaker 4 (18:33):
I'm just saying like, I'm not familiar with the volleyball
program at Wyoming.
Speaker 2 (18:37):
As soon as I have some time to research.
Speaker 5 (18:38):
That, I will get Yeah.

Speaker 2 (21:18):
Oh oh okay, all right, I caught it. I caught it.
Speaker 5 (21:21):
Never mind, I thought someone would slat one of those
ends a right number two, number three, which okay, like
thee's assuming like we make it to that point.
Speaker 1 (21:30):
Yeah, yeah, that's that's very true. I didn't even think
I'm only get married one time though, that's it.
Speaker 2 (21:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (21:37):
If I ever found my way up out of this one,
it's it's lights camera action for l a. Yeah, just
like that. My life will be a movie the rest
of the way. And I've already told my kids and
my wife movie everything you could think of, everything. I
won't be working on this radio show nothing. I'm just disappear,
(22:00):
damn and be that guy and film it.
Speaker 5 (22:04):
Well, I'll miss you.
Speaker 2 (22:05):
Yeah, I'll miss you too, Hope.
Speaker 5 (22:07):
Does it come to that me too?
Speaker 1 (22:09):
Well, you know, call her up and tell her don't
leave me, because if she were, it's over. It's over, Johnny.
Speaker 5 (22:16):
But I also feel like Jonas might be pushing you
in that direction.
Speaker 2 (22:18):
He might be. Yeah, he is. He's a horrible influence. Yeah,
he's a terrible part of the film crew.
Speaker 5 (22:24):
Yeah, I wish you could tell the story you told
me in Jonas about I think Leafoar knows it, though
we don't need to bring Jonas in. Was it someone
using your house or you walked in your buddy's house?
Speaker 2 (22:36):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (22:37):
So uh an old so a house I used to
live in before I moved to Charleston for my radio gig.
I came back to visit and I walked in and
they were filming a movie, like a professionally done adult
movie with legitimate, well known actors and actresses. And I
(23:02):
just said, and I was I remember because I was
trying to watch the South Carolina Alabama game.
Speaker 2 (23:07):
I think South Carolina might have beat him. That.
Speaker 1 (23:09):
What makes this story so funny is.
Speaker 2 (23:16):
I think they did. It was a big day for involved, you.
Speaker 5 (23:25):
Know, for everyone in there, there's not I mean, maybe
it's typical in the film industry. Is it true that
they they filmed the finish before the start? Is that?
But in most movies? Is it like that? Or only
specific movies.
Speaker 4 (23:40):
I just learned a lot that day about how that
like the magic of that stuff.
Speaker 2 (23:46):
And I'll just put it this way.
Speaker 4 (23:48):
The things that people think that they're watching aren't exactly true.
You know, like they've got to get very creative because.
Speaker 1 (23:56):
Like they have fake dips, right like that you like
squeeze on them or whatever.
Speaker 5 (24:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (24:02):
Yeah, a lot of stuff there was just like a
bag of goodies, like props, set props, and like the
I mean, everyone's super very nice. It's a total professional environment.
Speaker 5 (24:15):
Saying it's like the w W E of intimacy is
what you're.
Speaker 1 (24:18):
Saying, kind of like real but fake. Yeah, yeah, you
can really get injured. Yeah, but it's I mean scripted.
Speaker 5 (24:27):
Physical stuff goes on.
Speaker 2 (24:28):
It's not it's just not scripted. It just wasn't what
I was expecting. The winner.
Speaker 1 (24:33):
The winner is already pre Like it wasn't the winner
is already predetermined.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
That's I'm right there with you. Wait so it wasn't
watch well no, because I still had a key.
Speaker 1 (24:47):
They probably invited Janas giving you the truth.
Speaker 2 (24:52):
The real story All black. Jon was there, had it's
talent on.
Speaker 5 (24:57):
He was nervous, surprised they didn't create it'd be like, wait, wait,
we need this guy, get this guy, get this guy
at the shot.
Speaker 2 (25:03):
They invited him.
Speaker 4 (25:04):
I was the charger security guard before the charge of
security guar.
Speaker 2 (25:08):
No.
Speaker 4 (25:09):
I just I was not hands in the pocket. We
were going to go out and get something to eat,
and I was not expecting to walk into that when
I picked him up.
Speaker 5 (25:18):
Is it Eddie's seats? I feel like there are seats
where they say for the Chargers game would be like
in the old stadium a Qualcom close to where that
guy was.
Speaker 4 (25:26):
Did you get seat upgrades at Sofi, Eddie, based on
being longtime season ticket holders or how does that work?
Speaker 2 (25:33):
There was some sort of preference.
Speaker 5 (25:36):
But but Eddie, I know, like it's so Fi, it's
kind of different. But wouldn't your seats at a Qualcom
have been in the same spot. I mean, just just
from watching the video of that gentleman, it seemed like
he was.
Speaker 2 (25:50):
More in the end zone area to me than he
was Edie.
Speaker 5 (25:54):
I thought he was like the corner side or something.
Speaker 2 (25:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (25:58):
I mean the fact that you got it put together
that way, Eddie, I'm like impressed by you even more.
Speaker 5 (26:05):
You watched it a lot.
Speaker 1 (26:06):
I'm actually more of a fan of you now after
that response than I was before.
Speaker 2 (26:13):
Eddie.
Speaker 1 (26:14):
Yeah, that was possible. I mean you've won me over
even more, Eddie.
Speaker 5 (26:18):
I know it's not technically your team. But what do
you think like stands out the most about the Chargers?
Is that like top three, not for me, for so
many people, but like the things that have happened in
recent history that you're like, yeah, of course it's the Chargers.
Speaker 2 (26:35):
Yeah, not for me. I know, Jonas, that's definitely number
one for you. Well, I mean ignore that. That's funny
you ignore that. I mean, it's easy for me to
be honest with you. I just don't think about that
that person.
Speaker 4 (26:48):
That it's been a long time since I know that
you are really into that. It's almost thirty years since
they went to the Super Bowl. Yeah all right, and
it's just you know, you got to talk about what
you know, play the hits you got, you got around?
Speaker 2 (27:01):
I mean, what do you geez?
Speaker 5 (27:04):
What see them?
Speaker 2 (27:06):
Just turned white? Just passed out something.
Speaker 1 (27:13):
I can't never see if the But like, can we
please get a can we get a light?
Speaker 2 (27:18):
Please? Like our red light?
Speaker 4 (27:21):
Like red light was a part of our show. I
love the flashing red light dumb button. Yeah, why do
we not have like this?
Speaker 5 (27:30):
Can we get something like plug?
Speaker 1 (27:35):
I mean that would be super fire and we should
have like a fire alarm go off?
Speaker 2 (27:41):
Well, that is very true, Eddie, is very true.
Speaker 1 (27:46):
Unwanted, but nonetheless there Yeah, I think we should have
something to go with this, but I mean, it looks
like this entire room will blow up if you hit
that button.
Speaker 4 (27:57):
Can we switch out this just bland looking dump one
one one in the live studio?
Speaker 2 (28:02):
Yeah, we'll do that one. That was like a game
show button. It's it's comically large, it's yellow.
Speaker 1 (28:07):
I liked it until I realized that you don't know
when you're dumping, like I guess you have lights on it.
Speaker 2 (28:12):
Yeah, you know what I mean, Like you don't don't
get dumped, don't don't need to be dumped. Here you go?
I mean that would that would solve everything.
Speaker 5 (28:21):
You don't Sam in thirty seconds, give me your thoughts
on Iowa after the big win over Workers this past weekend.
Still hit the under you can't do amazingly Hit the under.
Speaker 2 (28:30):
Thirty thirty seconds, twenty nine, you.
Speaker 4 (28:33):
Can do it, twenty eight Eddie, you take it in
twenty seven the Iowa from.
Speaker 2 (28:41):
Four twenty three. I don't know what's going on right now.
I really twenty one twenty.
Speaker 11 (28:48):
We're trying to give you twenty seconds to talk about seventeen, sixteen, fifteen,
Come on, you want thirteen?
Speaker 2 (28:59):
What are you doing Iowa?
Speaker 5 (29:01):
Talk about.
Speaker 2 (29:09):
Sex?
Speaker 5 (29:12):
You know what?
Speaker 4 (29:13):
Forget about Iowa. Forget about Iowa. Let's let's talk about
a program that is known for a program, known for
class and respect. Like how about u c l A.
Who apparently it was some of their recruits that were
visiting that stole the merchandise and jewelry Colorado that.
Speaker 5 (29:32):
U c l A recruiting like that?
Speaker 2 (29:33):
Huh?
Speaker 1 (29:34):
I thought it was some local students. Aren't they reporting
it was local students?
Speaker 5 (29:38):
Why were the recruits in the away teams locker room?
Speaker 1 (29:43):
It's a great question. But you know they had access,
well they had access. So so swag bags, I was
at the gang. I was at the game and my
son was one of the recruits for the game. And
you c l A, Yeah, I was at that gang.
Speaker 5 (29:58):
What did you get?
Speaker 2 (29:58):
I mean, his daddy is his daddy played with Dion
like buckle, believe you me?
Speaker 1 (30:11):
I in fact, I gave him my I gave him
my customs, like he doesn't need to steal nobody's ass.
But yeah, so so the the recruits there, there's like
a barrier that you have to go through where they
have security standing there and pretty much once you step
through the security with with your lanyard, then you you know,
you could kind of blend in, so to speak. And
(30:34):
that's where the locker rooms are too. Like the recruiting
lounge is on the other side of the security gate
where the locker rooms are.
Speaker 4 (30:43):
So this from on three, which says that the Pasadena
Police confirmed the suspects tied to the theft for high
school recruits on an official visit to u C l A.
In their statement, Pasadena police revealed the high schoolers allegedly
took thousands of dollars in valuables from both locker rooms,
including jewelry, headphones, and cash. According to an initial report
(31:06):
by the Coach JB Show, which was confirmed by Pasadena Police.
Speaker 2 (31:10):
Det know what. I know exactly who they are and
the names of the juveniles. They haven't been released yet.
I know exactly who.
Speaker 4 (31:16):
The report suggest that they attend Beaumont High School, Beaumont
High School, Riverside County.
Speaker 2 (31:23):
That's that's where they want to know exactly who the
kids are. I would hope that they're not recruiting these
guys anymore. It's kind of a bad showing I don't know,
you can't you can't have one off night's perfect.
Speaker 5 (31:38):
That is one issue with the whole visits now, like
all the visit thing is like there's too many people.
Speaker 2 (31:44):
Yeah, they had, like they need to they need.
Speaker 5 (31:45):
To cap how many people can come with the kids.
Speaker 1 (31:48):
The dude had like three or four of his homies.
Like it wasn't it wasn't his family, it was his people. Yeah,
it was like, and.
Speaker 5 (31:54):
Look, I understand that in some you know, some family situations,
you don't have both parents, or maybe in some there's
none and it's it's an uncle or a grandparent, or
maybe it's the coach who's who's overseeing things. But either way, man,
you get some of these kids come on with a
gigantic entourage and it's like you're not they're not helping
(32:15):
you make the decision. And honestly, I think it comes
off a little bit as like a red flag where
it's almost like I get it. Like I had a
group of you know, guys who I was close with
growing up still to this day, were boys, and like
you'd want them to share in the experience you're you're
sharing in, but like it's a business decision. Like you
know what I'm saying, Like I just I don't know.
Speaker 1 (32:36):
It's a business trip, yeah, exactly for fun trip. That's
a business trip, like you know, and you know what's crazy.
I'm gonna tell you que to your point. My child
was there with his father, and when we saw all
of the like all of the shenanigans going on, you
know what we did, backed right on up away from
(32:57):
the shenanigans.
Speaker 2 (32:58):
This is the entry.
Speaker 1 (32:59):
Let them handle that and when they're when when the
recruiting coordinator and all of them come and clear it
all out, then we'll step back into position like it was.
It was a couple of them were I mean, it
was what it was. They no guidance, no home training,
and did not handle themselves in a manner of which
(33:19):
you were on an interview for what you could be
a difference in your future. I tell you what, though,
my son looked at me. This is this one proud moment.
Me and my son looked at each other. I looked
at him, he looked at me, and we both just
started backing away like that's my guy, backed up, leaned
against the wall. Recruiting coordinator. Sure enough that the security
(33:41):
everybody cleared it out. The recruiting coordinator looked around, was like,
all right, you got sorry, are you guys ready? Like yeah,
we you know, are you ready?
Speaker 5 (33:50):
So wait? We were the scene. It was just a
bunch of people trying to get on the field.
Speaker 1 (33:53):
They were trying to get through the security gate, the
recruiting side of the security gate, and in just the
way that they went about doing it.
Speaker 2 (34:01):
Was a whole bunch of kids.
Speaker 1 (34:03):
But they were like look like, think of like the
most arrogant recruit that you can think of that thought
that they were already in the league and had already
made Pro Bowls and were on their way to the
Hall of Fame and had no home training. That's how
he was acting, along with his whole crew, and the
things that were coming out of their mouth. Let's just say,
(34:25):
if I was their daddy or caretake or anything like that,
You're not big enough yet. I'll tell you that physically,
you're not big enough yet to let that stuff be
coming out of your mouth and think that you're not
going to get checked.
Speaker 4 (34:38):

They do the spicy and they've got the chili's in

the fire pickles are good, But.
