Speaker 1 (01:59):
I mean, don't know, pick a card, any card, where
the hell do you want to start with last game?

Speaker 4 (02:04):
Is that think a wet bar of soaper? What's going
on with that ball? I don't think it seems to
be kind of slick these daystes.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
I don't.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
I mean it was everybody. It was the holder for Denver,
it was cook for the Bills. Everybody was dropping the
ball left and right. On top of the fact that,
how about the fire drill field goal attempt to win
the game by Denver and they get bailed best and
they get bailed out of the twelve men on the field.

Speaker 5 (02:32):
If they hadn't did the fire drilled, it wouldn't have
worked out for him. If they would have just did
a regular, regular set and set up, you know they
would have it would have Well, it wouldn't. They wouldn't
allot well yet they would have. I just it would yeah,
would yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
I don't even know where to be, I swear to God.
Do we talk Bill's disappointment and Josh Allen.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Who plays disappointing or do.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
We talk about the fact that the Denver Broncos, who
got a seventy burger hung up on him earlier this season?
Their defense is all playing their ass.

Speaker 6 (03:01):
Off and their offense has improved to a degree.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
I know it didn't necessarily didn't let up the scoreboard,
but they are moving the football more give themselves shots.

Speaker 6 (03:09):
I think the bigger story is Buffalo.

Speaker 4 (03:11):
You know, they were four to oh coming into that
game at home, one and four on the road this season.
Josh Allen's turnover struggles. I think he's turned it over
the most since what like twenty eighteen or whatever. The
status on that, I just it feels like, and we
talked about this to start the season, something is off there.
You know, Leslie Fraser no longer calling the defense. You

(03:32):
wonder how that would impact them. Their offense has never
been the same since Brian Dable left and took the
head coaching job of the New York Giants. Stefan Diggs
is frustrated his brother's tweeting out he needs to get
out of there, Like it just feels like they hit
their ceiling playing against Kansas City, the final moments hitting

(03:54):
you know, passes to Gabe Davis in that playoff game
and that was it.

Speaker 6 (03:58):
Like that, that was it this team.

Speaker 4 (04:01):
I know they're destinated by entry on defense, but there's
not you know, now, it's not even like a home
field advantage as.

Speaker 6 (04:07):
Much anymore, with the way they're turning over the football.

Speaker 4 (04:10):
It's just it's so many things right now, and I
think it's hard to look at this Buffalo team as
a team that can legitimately go in there and contend
when they're going to have to in the playoffs with
the way that with the way they looked.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Last night, and based on the history of the franchise,
I mean, it's probably best because if they did get
to a Super Bowl, they just lose anyways. So if
we're going to go by by history of the Buffalo Bills.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
Organization, say whatever, you want to go there four straight
years and lose four straight years, and I still.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
Dress I agree, it will never happen again.

Speaker 5 (04:42):
No, no, And I mean the Patriots would have been
the one team that could have actually did it, but
they didn't even do it.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
Can they screwed up in one bar?

Speaker 4 (04:49):
Would you go four straight years and lose four straight
years or would you rather win one?

Speaker 2 (04:57):
I'd rather win one? Yeah, yeah, I rather win one.

Speaker 6 (05:00):
Is that a bad question? I thought that might do well?

Speaker 2 (05:02):
No, that's a good question.

Speaker 5 (05:03):
Well what about I mean, well, because here's the thing
we're saying this knowing the outcome right right right?

Speaker 6 (05:10):
If you asked me for four years, you're like, this
is pretty dope.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
I mean, and believe me. I I'm friends.

Speaker 5 (05:16):
I'm super close with Bruce Smith and and Darryl Talley.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (05:21):
Them dudes are still God's lower kase g O d
s for For the Buffalo Bills community and the NFL community,
I mean they're looked at.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
I mean you know, I mean you see those.

Speaker 5 (05:31):
Guys, they're like football royalty, like how they do it
even though they lost, you know. But yeah, I mean
I would love to have gone to four Super Bowls.
That means your team is really and your players are
really really really good, like really good. But I would
have loved the one to one, like give me one.

(05:54):
If I only made one appearance and I won that
one appearance, I probably take the dub over the four appearances.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
Do you think after you lost the fourth, you're like,
I will be back next year, you know, like or
do you think? And also I don't know why I
felt this way, LeVar, but I literally imagined you super
Bowl week at the parties, like I imagine you for
like like year three, like after the first tear. Oh man,
I did it big in the year two. I gotta
I gotta tone it back for your or four. You're like,

(06:20):
you know what toned it back in year three? Still
didn't win. I'm gonna go after year four?

Speaker 5 (06:24):
Yeah, yeah, I can't. I can't imagine that they thought
they'd be back for a fifth. You don't think I
can't imagine they would have thought that they're I mean,
they had to think that the whale was going to
run run dry at some point.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (06:38):
I mean, maybe they were that good, But man, you
gotta have so many things go right for you to
make it to the super Bowl one time, let alone
one more time after that, and then one more time
after that, and then one more time after that.

Speaker 2 (06:53):
That's like, god, Lee, Well, I know neither of these
teams are going to the super Bowl.

Speaker 5 (06:56):
We saw last one. Well, I think that that would
be a safe assessment. They're not going to start a
one to a one run for for super Bowl this
year is shot?

Speaker 6 (07:07):
You don't, well, yeah, Buffalo, mate.

Speaker 5 (07:08):
I said, Buffalo have hit there. That's I said this
before they hit their ceiling. I think I think they hit.
Who stole that from from me?

Speaker 2 (07:16):
I think? Okay, that was fine? Because I had that
on the prompter and then you took it from me.

Speaker 4 (07:21):
I surely didn't say. I want to be just very
clear about this. I was not part of any of that.
And there's still to me a playoff team. They just
got to get some things right offensively, turn the football.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
At least they did start running the football though.

Speaker 6 (07:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (07:36):
There again, like James Cook though, it's like whether it's
a handoff or if he's running in the open field,
or you know, he catches it out of the backfield,
like that thing is going to come out potentially, it's
kind of fun to watch. That's when's it gonna fumble?

Speaker 6 (07:50):
And you're like, up there, it is all right, all right.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
Sean mcder Sean McDermott, the head coach of the Buffalo Bills,
spoke with the media. Yeah, he spoke with the media
following the game last night. And look, I'll give the
Buffalo media this. They were I don't know if aggressive
is the right term, but when it came to Josh
Allen and Sean McDermott post game, they weren't letting him

(08:13):
off the hook.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
Let's listen to the exchange.

Speaker 6 (08:17):
Sucks. No, this should have.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
Been Josh Allen, we're looking for Sean McDermott here, so
we're looking for good first day back there.

Speaker 7 (08:25):
Sam think he's played well at times and then at
times he hasn't. And you can't turn the ball over,
so you know, we've gotta gotta figure that out.

Speaker 8 (08:35):
Do you think, Sean that something forwards drastically needs to
be done. I'm not sure what that is, but in
your mind, do you have to hit a hard reset
based on this game and maybe this whole six game stretch.

Speaker 7 (08:50):
I need a little bit of time here just after
the game to assess that. Obviously I'm not really happy
right now, so you know I'll evaluate that and one
of the next twenty four hour I was here and
see what it takes us.

Speaker 4 (09:02):
Do you feel a sense of unraveling a little bit
like what was your sense in that locker room with this?

Speaker 7 (09:08):
Guys are upset, they're frustrated when you don't get the
results you're looking for, You don't have maybe the production
you're looking for. You know they get they get frustrated,
and I can promise it's not from a lack of effort.
You know, you got to continue to reset, continue to
make adjustments that we need to make. I know the
result wasn't what we wanted it to be. And I
do think there's some good football times being played, but

(09:30):
I'm not good enough.

Speaker 9 (09:31):
We have things to work on.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
I mean, the guy asking him something drastic going to happen, Well, yeah,
it's going to happen.

Speaker 2 (09:37):
After the season. Sean mcdermom is going to get fired.
And I'm not rooting for it. I'm not rooting for it.
I think that's the next step here.

Speaker 6 (09:44):
I swear your damn.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
I think Sean McDermott is on the hot seat. I
swear to god. Look, I love the guy. I'm not
rooting for it. I'm telling you it's not a hot you.
I love Sean mcdermo. Well, next thing he's going.

Speaker 6 (10:01):
To he is.

Speaker 2 (10:02):
I like him a lot.

Speaker 6 (10:03):
But this is clip though.

Speaker 1 (10:06):
If something's wrong, If something's wrong and they're not getting
rid of Josh Allen, what's the next step he's going
to get clipped?

Speaker 4 (10:13):
Why are we immediately going to like all something second clipped?
I mean, this is an organization that there's still to
me again, they're going to be a playoff team now.
They do have a ridiculous schedule down the stretch with
the exception of next week they have to play the Jets,
which look they lost to to begin the season, so
it's it's meaningful when you talk about the division. But

(10:36):
then they're gonna go at Philly bye week, at Kansas City, Dallas, Chargers.

Speaker 6 (10:41):
New England. To win that one at Miami, well we'll see.

Speaker 10 (10:47):
Damn.

Speaker 5 (10:49):
I'm out on them. I'm out. I'm out on the
Bills too. I'm out on the Chargers and the Bills, you.

Speaker 6 (10:55):
Know what, I'm kind of it on. I think Denver
can still make a run and sneak in.

Speaker 5 (10:58):
Huh, just saying they're trending in the right direction. But
they did have a lot of things go their way.
And yeah, it wasn't like they were like this dominant,
crazy looking good team. I mean there were some bad
drops there. I mean there was you know it just
there are good catches.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
There were some good catches.

Speaker 4 (11:17):
Didn't you throw a pass just like that to lock
in Seattle on the zone? You remember that, Like it
was almost the exact same thing. He spun back through
a ball that was like incredibly improbable.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
I think it was a Thursday night game and I
think it was against the Rams. I think if I'm
not mistaken.

Speaker 6 (11:39):
Yeah, I'll go with you. It sounds like you.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
I mean, listen, if not, we'll you know, added can we?
So you guys really don't think Sean mcdermot's on the
hot seat, Okay, I totally disagree.

Speaker 5 (11:56):
I mean that might have been what you put yourself
in the mind of that reporter, That's what it was,
and you were thinking like someone who isn't thinking all
the way sensibly, you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (12:06):
But hey, I don't root for anybody's job to get lost.
That's not my game.

Speaker 1 (12:10):
But I just think that they're going to be looking
for answers and if it's not going to be any
sort of player personnel move, I just wonder if Sean
McDermott's going to be the fall guy there.

Speaker 6 (12:21):
All right, they're five and four. Do they get to
ten wins? All right? Do they have five wins in
their next eight games?

Speaker 5 (12:27):
Well?

Speaker 2 (12:27):
No, they're five hundred now or excuse me five?

Speaker 4 (12:30):
Well okay, but they have The point is they have
five wins. Do they get to ten wins with their
remaining seven games? Because they they've been a double digit
win team for the past four years under Sean McDermott.

Speaker 2 (12:41):
Let me look at their games one more time. I notice.

Speaker 4 (12:44):
I think we'd say they're going to be in New England.
They're probably gonna be the Jets, and then maybe even
the Chargers. That gets you to That gets you.

Speaker 5 (12:49):
To seven or no eight. Okay, they'll get New England.
They'll they won't get the Dolphins, they'll get the Chargers,
They'll probably won't get the Cowboys. Now I think they
get the eight. I think they get the eight, maybe nine.
I'll give them a gimme win over one of those

(13:11):
those one teams, Like maybe they get the Dolphins. Maybe
they get the Dolphins. You know, maybe they get the Cowboys.
Maybe I don't see them getting the Chiefs or the Eagles.
I'll give them nine wins at a maximum. Do you
think they make the playoffs. I think they'll make the playoffs.
I just don't think that they're I just I think

(13:32):
they've hit their seal. I do not think they're a
Super Bowl contender. But they're a playoff team. But they're
not a contender.

Speaker 4 (13:39):
You know what's crazy about them right now is not
only are they out of the playoffs. If they playoffs
started today, they'd be They're like the tenth seed that
that's their pole position, if you will, and they're behind
the Colts.

Speaker 6 (13:53):
The Colts right now are ahead of them.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
That didn't even make sense.

Speaker 6 (13:58):
Yeah, they got the same record. And I think it's
like that. It comes down to like common opponents or something.

Speaker 5 (14:07):
Culture starting to take over it, indie boy, everybody leaning
up against something.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
Like if you were to pull somebody off the street
and be like, hey, do you know the bills and
raiders of the same records that they can get out
of here, you put your crack pipe down.

Speaker 2 (14:20):
I was just with Terry Pagoula in state college, so
he's having a rough go of it, I guess.

Speaker 6 (14:25):
You know, Yeah, he took his frustration out on him.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
Yeah what happened, and.

Speaker 6 (14:34):
You're sitch is out?

Speaker 5 (14:36):
Huh oh yeah, I mean he had to go. Look,
I have such a bad like feeling or experience that
I've like I have selective memory and memory loss. By
the way, I couldn't even remember his name, Like you
guys said his name and it wasn't even registering to

(14:58):
me that, like he's not even a part of our community.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
It happens with trauma, like you just leave it out
of your life forever. You know how herks brought up
in therapy. My agent asked me yesterday, Hell, yes, I would.
I would saying that all Saturday. My agent asked me,
He was like, did you enjoy calling the game? I
was like no, He was like, you didn't have fun.

Speaker 5 (15:22):
I was like, how do you have fun when you're
calling a game and you have to remain neutral and
talk about your team, like I said, or the compliment
the other tame or compliment the other team while they're
they're taking advantage of your team, Like, it was not
fun for me. I like calling games. But I told her,

(15:43):
I said, listen. I was like, I would like to
be scheduled for games that aren't my alma mater. Like
I called two games this year and they were both
Penn State games, Like don't I don't want to do that.
I would have felt better if I'd have been on
the field and I would have been able to talk
to the guys like the Ohio State game.

Speaker 2 (16:02):
Man, I was. I was with the guys, you know,
I was keeping them up.

Speaker 5 (16:05):
I was giving them like kind of like things that
I was seeing on the field that could have helped
and stuff like that. But you know, no, I didn't
enjoy sitting there watching that. But yeah, but Terry was
in state college. Super dope. Doude too man, super cool dude.
You would have been with me, Brady, but you know
you had other stuff going on.

Speaker 2 (16:23):
Do you like a nice return on your investment? Are
you a big fan of that? No, he's taking us
to to to read. Are you taking us to a receive?

Speaker 6 (16:32):
I don't do just this is him looking up gambling
what you got.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
Let me tell you so that that that is a
seven to eight years of prior experience. Brady knows me
way too well.

Speaker 6 (16:46):
She looks.

Speaker 2 (16:51):
Looking at your screen. The bills to make the playoffs
are plus two hundred, so.

Speaker 6 (17:00):
I'll take it.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
The no on that is a minus two fifty. So
those are pretty.

Speaker 6 (17:08):
Boys, isn't it.

Speaker 2 (17:14):
Somebody give me a credit card. I'll make this happen
right now.

Speaker 6 (17:17):
You know, LaVar like throw it. I was like, yeah,
he's probably right. I'll be tough to to fifty. Damn.

Speaker 2 (17:22):
I'm shocked that it's actually that significant.

Speaker 4 (17:25):
On the other side, I mean, their defense has just
been by the way, didn't Denver missed the kick with
like five minutes left until Buffalo went down and take
the lead.

Speaker 6 (17:34):
It's not like Ian. I know, we said like Denver
had a bunch of opportunities, but.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
You made the Bills the Bill.

Speaker 6 (17:42):
I mean yeah, like I kind of feel like we
have Denver too, could have made that game. Just is
that game a little bit?

Speaker 1 (17:48):
They missed two pats like they like there was so
many opportunities there for Denver to run away. Like I
just if you're a Bills fan, it's got to be
maddening because you're thinking, oh man, I'll be years later.

Speaker 6 (18:01):
Now that we're here, what is Denver's schedule the rest
of the way.

Speaker 2 (18:05):
Let's take a look at this here efforting uh there,
four and five?

Speaker 5 (18:09):
Yeah, and then we gotta go guys, yeah, come on,
oh yeah, all right, so sassy Sam back there.

Speaker 2 (18:16):
Like wow, we piece together.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
By the way, Justin Cooper screw you, all right, he's
a Broncos fan, and I gave he's also an Angels fan.
I gave him an Angels hat that I got a
monster jam on Saturday that we got nachos in one
of those plastic hats, and he gave it to Sam bro.

Speaker 6 (18:36):
I think Denver's got a more difficult schedule than.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
Both Vikings, Browns, Texans, are looking.

Speaker 6 (18:42):
Good at Houston, at La at Detroit. That's three weeks
in a row.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
On the road Denver to make the playoffs. This plus
five fifty.

Speaker 6 (18:51):
So yeah, and then you.

Speaker 4 (18:52):
Got the Chargers, yeah, charges twice in that span at
Las Vegas to finish, I.

Speaker 5 (18:56):
Mean, and Las Vegas is looking pretty uh schipp being
competitive right now.

Speaker 6 (19:02):
You know, it's it's pretty interesting. We look at the
Patriots as the doormat, right.

Speaker 5 (19:05):
They got they got, they got shugged night up in
there now, Coop. I'm just saying, bro, big shug up
in the house coaching. Now, y'all better go ahead and
stop playing compting Raiders via Las Vegas. Yeah, brother, he
got his Broncos hoodie. All yeah, No, I'm not Raiders

(19:28):
might digging that as.

Speaker 6 (19:29):
I don't know. We got a spoon with him.

Speaker 2 (19:34):
Hell all right, it is two pros and a cup

this big ass eject button. I don't even know that
I got dump.

I do realize it's a It's a dumb look and
a dumb move.

Speaker 5 (21:55):
I use it a lot to put my hair back,
Like yes, I get get like a hair you know,
one of those hair things, you know.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
Like sunglasses. This just happens to be. I was that
was that was convenient, that was moving things around in
my car. I just put it on my head and
I forgot to take it off, all right.

Speaker 5 (22:20):
I mean, our show is growing hey shots about everybody
who listens to us by the way and supports our show,
the show. I mean, Lee, you're the big Lebowski.

Speaker 11 (22:28):
I mean, you know, when I do leave, I'm driving
straight into the sun, so I make sure to have
my sun glass.

Speaker 2 (22:35):
That is true now now that the hour is here.

Speaker 4 (22:38):
But you know, I could have stayed in the car though,
But you got that solar glare, right, he got that
soul glare.

Speaker 2 (22:47):
He was everything. He was the everything dark he all
wants to see nothing like just like your opinion, man.

Speaker 8 (22:59):
Ha.

Speaker 6 (23:02):
The funny thing though, is I feel like that's not
how Lee would say it.

Speaker 5 (23:06):
Says it.

Speaker 2 (23:07):
Ha. I'm wearing a nacho hat, like, yeah, I just
see dude, gotta nacho. It's a weird ess going on
in here.

Speaker 6 (23:17):
Man.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
We got sunglasses on.

Speaker 5 (23:21):
Sale, got a taco nacho salad hat on, a hard hat,
look like a handy manny hat.

Speaker 2 (23:29):
I had an I had an afro when I came here.
You had an eyebro. You did you put your hat on?

Speaker 5 (23:36):
I was like, dang, I ain't really never seen Jonas
with his hat put that aspect on.

Speaker 2 (23:42):
Uh that's kind of what it's resembling.

Speaker 5 (23:53):
Oh man, I start thinking about the flow beat like this, dude, dude,
is a flow be cut man.

Speaker 2 (24:01):
Geez, everybody's lost their minds.

Speaker 10 (24:04):
It is it is.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
It is two pros and a cup of Joe. Fox
Sports Radio.

Speaker 1 (24:16):
It's LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you, by
the way, coming up later on this hour. This is
probably not the thing we want to tease ahead with,
especially the way today's show is going, but we'll call
it less than twenty minutes from now in another edition
of In Case you missed it, somebody is offering up
some services to some athletes out there, some services this week,

(24:38):
and we.

Speaker 2 (24:38):
Will get into the very latest on all that. Yeah, again,
that'll be happening the athletes, first or last? First, First, first,
that was sad, right there is that?

Speaker 12 (24:55):
Well, it'll make sense to hear the story. But I
hope I'm not accurate. I mean I was joking around accurate.
Yeah you're on Oh wow, Yeah, you're definitely on something.
I mean, how funny is that? I didn't even I
didn't know what you were talking to. I would just
being funny.

Speaker 1 (25:09):
Well, here's the situation that's not funny. The New York
Jets are not very good right now, and the New
York Jets have all sorts of things that they need
to answer as we await the potential return of Aaron
Rodgers somehow.

Speaker 2 (25:23):
Someway, that's what you're putting out there, man, just saying.
Aaron Rodgers said it himself.

Speaker 1 (25:28):
He's looking for mid December, so about a month from now,
maybe we'll see Rogers back from his achilles injury. But
Robert Sala following the awful performance by the offense on
Sunday Night Football on the loss in Las Vegas, he
spoke at the media yesterday and was asked about any
potential changes that could be made to not only the quarterback,

(25:49):
but also the offensive coordinator slash play caller.

Speaker 6 (25:51):
We're talking.

Speaker 9 (25:52):
They're nothing with the quarterback, nothing with the play caller.

Speaker 6 (25:54):
You know.

Speaker 9 (25:54):
We're just looking at things with regards to schematically the
things that we can do differently, different personal personnel changes,
which I'm gonna keep here with me, but we're looking
across the board to see if we can find a
way to generate some offense.

Speaker 2 (26:07):
So that is I don't know what anybody is surprised by.

Speaker 6 (26:10):
It's like.

Speaker 4 (26:14):
I'm trying to think of the best comparison you can make. Well,
we're not changing the coordinator, We're not changing the quarterback,
but we're looking to make some changes. It's like, well,
my car, it's got a flat tire, won't drive, but
we're not gonna change the tire. We're gonna look at
the engine oil, We're gonna look at the gas. We're
gonna figure out why this thing will not drive. It's
it's not the flat tire.

Speaker 6 (26:34):
All right, We'll look at some other things there. Maybe
the AC is not. We're not sure what's going on,
Like what all right?

Speaker 4 (26:43):
I mean, I just I feel like nowadays, and tell
me if I'm wrong, but it feels like you either
want your team to be in the hunt or completely
out of it so you can get a higher draft pick.

Speaker 5 (26:59):
I mean, that's what it seems like. I mean, the
NBA has been that way forever, but it seems like
it's more pronounced these days in the NFL.

Speaker 6 (27:07):
Well, that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (27:07):
It's bleeding into the NFL, and I hate that I
feel that way, but I don't know what to attribute
it to. I'm not sure if it's because if you
look at the AFC and if you look at the
teams that have largely dominated it right, like the Chiefs
for that. Basically since Brady left New England, it's now
been the Chiefs, and then when Brady was in New

(27:28):
England it was the Patriots. Like, when you have one
team that's that dominant, it's almost like, Okay, can our
team compete to beat them or not?

Speaker 6 (27:37):
If they can't, well let's try to find a way
of buildings so they can.

Speaker 4 (27:41):
And you kind of just leave it at that and
and almost like, well, yeah, we're a you know, in
this case, not nine and eight team, and we can
make the playoffs. We're not going anywhere, you know, like
we almost don't believe in that the possibility of that
team making a run anymore.

Speaker 7 (27:56):
You know.

Speaker 5 (27:57):
It seems like now the way teams, I mean, Philly,
I feel like has cracked the code. You gotta find
a way to get as many draft picks as you
can in the future, hope that you can win now.
So by the time the second contract comes up for guys,
you can let them go and the guys that you

(28:19):
have been able to get through the draft you got
another you get you get a fresh three to four
years with that group of guys. So it doesn't really
pay to be a mid a mid range team, like
you're either good and you're winning, and you get your
winning while you can get the winning before you guys
start paying all of these guys their money, and you'll

(28:39):
choose a handful of them, probably less than you know,
probably like two or three. You know that that maybe
four that get get big, massive second contracts. But you know,
if you're a mid range team, you're not bad enough
to be the bad and you're not good enough to
be considered good man's land, and you're not getting draft picks,

(29:02):
you're not getting draft capital really out of it unless
you're actively going after it with trades or whatever it
may be. And you're like, you're right there, you know,
you're like right, it is no man's land. And I
don't know, it does seem like either if you're good,
then be good, or if you're bad, then you gotta

(29:22):
be bad because you could keep getting top draft picks
and possibly in like year two or three of getting
those those good draft picks, you know that it might
could turn your team around.

Speaker 1 (29:33):
I just don't know that making a change at quarterback
is the solution for the Jets, And we talked about
it even before last week's game. They got problems. It's
not just Zach Wilson. And yeah he made you know,
he threw the interception. He made some bad plays, but
he also made some good throws. He scrambled, picked up
some crucial first downs. I think people still view him

(29:55):
as the number two overall pick instead of what the
reality is.

Speaker 2 (29:58):
He's a backup quarterback.

Speaker 1 (30:00):
And this is what it looks like when a backup
quarterback is called into duty four plays into a season
and a team that's had been riddled with injuries and
had offensive line issues.

Speaker 2 (30:10):
In front of him.

Speaker 1 (30:10):
Like, I just feel like people's expectations of him are
still the guy that was drafted high instead of Aaron
Rodgers backup and that's how we should be viewing this,
and people just don't want to let that go.

Speaker 4 (30:21):
Well, I think it's the Jets don't want to let
it go. I mean, I keep going back to the
beginning of the season. The Jets put themselves in this position.
You know, I'm sure it's been great for Zach to
be around Aaron Rodgers, and it's great that he's actually
got an opportunity to play for his own personal development.
But the second Rogers signed there or got you know

(30:43):
traded there there was there wasn't a future for Zach Wilson,
at least not in New York. And that's the tough
part is they put themselves in this position by keeping
them on the roster.

Speaker 6 (30:56):
They don't get anything.

Speaker 4 (30:57):
They're probably not going to get anything back in exchange
for him, and not allowing him to go somewhere else
to start to learn that system and restart his career elsewhere.

Speaker 6 (31:07):
That's the tough part.

Speaker 4 (31:09):
Look, I realized they don't have someone on the roster
that's gonna give them a better chance of winning than
he is. So you are, you know, stuck in the
position that you're in. And he's played better. I mean
I've said this the entire year. He's played better than
how he's played the previous two years. He's shown growth
and maturity as a leader, as a quarterback.

Speaker 10 (31:27):
All of that.

Speaker 4 (31:29):
But the problem is it's still not going to be
enough with where this team is at in the division
in which they play outside of the Patriots, I think
for them to be able to ultimately compete and get it,
you know, get in the playoffs and make a run.
Now when Rodgers's there, a completely different story because he's
a difference maker. But that's that's just not where this

(31:49):
team's at at this point. So it the tough thing is,
you know, you're saying kind of in coach talk, like, yeah,
we're gonna make some change, but what changes? Like what
guys are you putting in there? Like it's not like
you've got some better offensive lineman on the shelf, you know,
like if you wanted your offensive line to play better,
you would have figured out the combination by now to
play better. You know, so schematically, you know, maybe you're

(32:13):
you're doing more seven man protections in certain cases to
protect up Zach Wilson when you're when you're taking shots
or when you're.

Speaker 6 (32:19):
Trying to throw the ball down field.

Speaker 4 (32:21):
I mean, it's it's tough to put your finger on
where they're going on the drawing board because personnel wise,
it's not like the guys they don't have out there
aren't good enough or aren't the guys that you have
the best chance of winning with. So I'm curious to
see whatever the change they make, like what exactly that's
going to be.

Speaker 6 (32:38):
What it looks like.

Lee Di.

Speaker 12 (34:47):
Lap.

Speaker 11 (34:47):
Good morning, everybody, that's right, Good morning. You get to
need some glasses when the sun rises. Good morning, everybody, Morning, Jonas, Morning, Brady,
morning LeVar, guys. In case, hey, Brady, Mamula one is
returning to Las Vegas for the first time in forty years,
since since nineteen eighty two that we've had the Las
Vegas Grand Prix. It's actually been also since twenty eighteen

(35:09):
that we've had the famous Grid Girls.

Speaker 2 (35:11):
You know, they used to have the Grid Girls a
little sex appeal there, whoa, but they're no longer there.
That's been banned.

Speaker 11 (35:16):
So that's why the girls from the Chicken Ranch brothel
that Addison Gray and Alice Little are providing a little
bit of incentive for all the F one drivers and
their fans, saying that they will provide one hundred percent
complimentary coitus for the drivers and fifty percent off deal
for anyone flocking to the two.

Speaker 2 (35:33):
To the desert, to the festivity. Say what did you
just say, flocking to the desert?

Speaker 6 (35:37):
Hold on, hold on, read the entire thing again.

Speaker 11 (35:41):
Okay, Addison Gray and Alice Little are offered, you know,
one hundred percent complimentary coitus to the F one drivers
as well as fifty.

Speaker 6 (35:48):
Percent Right, what are you saying?

Speaker 1 (35:49):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (35:49):
I wanted to understand that too. Hoits yeah, coitus?

Speaker 6 (35:53):
What does that mean?

Speaker 2 (35:56):
Okay? One hundred percent free coitas?

Speaker 6 (36:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (36:01):
Coitus? Okay, I never heard that.

Speaker 6 (36:03):
I don't know what you're talking. I never heard anyone
use it in that way.

Speaker 2 (36:05):
Well that's what they wrote down, so okay, it all
ends up the same, that's for sure, all right.

Speaker 6 (36:09):
I mean, Joss, have you heard of coitus before?

Speaker 10 (36:12):
No?

Speaker 2 (36:12):
What I want to Yeah, fifty off of the fans
flock into the desert.

Speaker 1 (36:18):
Also, fans are getting fifty percent off of the chicken
ranch too, that's correct, Chicken ranch. Why would you even
go there, Chicken ranch? Change your name?

Speaker 2 (36:29):
I mean it's gonna be an innocent sounding name, like honey,
where you going? Chicken Ranch? I think they're trying to
capitalize off of the buddy ranch.

Speaker 5 (36:38):
I mean, bunny sounds way better than chicken. I mean,
the first thing I think about when I heard a
chicken ranch is fried chicken or eggs.

Speaker 2 (36:48):
I don't know. It seems kind of weird to me,
but okay, let's go. I mean, I want to see
what this place looks like. What would you guys imagine
this big ballish again chicken? I mean I'm looking, I

(37:12):
can't see the fire.

Speaker 5 (37:13):
That's what it should be called Big Baller's Chicken, all right,
I mean, what a spot?

Speaker 2 (37:23):
Yeah, his dad never mind what you got? Bet what
else we got?

Speaker 1 (37:27):
Lee?

Speaker 6 (37:27):
All right?

Speaker 11 (37:28):
Something a little more wholesome from Vegas Ranch from Vegas
to Provo Cyclones fans. Iowa State Cyclones fans were treated
to complimentary, not quite au complementary ice cream, brownies and cougartails.

Speaker 2 (37:45):
From the b YU students, such as a cougar tail.
A cougar tail is essentially a giant maple doda. That
kind of sounds O ye about that.

Speaker 1 (37:53):
So so Iowa stay visited and they got all those
treats from b YU fans.

Speaker 11 (37:58):
Yeah, apparently they do the for every game, but it
kind of went viral this weekend with Iowa State fans
showing their appreciation.

Speaker 1 (38:05):
Yes, I mean like, if they really wanted to appeal
to Iowa State fans, why didn't they just give him like, uh,
you know, some sort of a betting card maybe like
you know, a ticket.

Speaker 5 (38:15):
To you you want to recycle my one line or
you want to recycle I hit them with with gambling
right out. People, you didn't hear me.

Speaker 2 (38:25):
I hit it. I hit it so quickly. You are listening.

Speaker 1 (38:28):
I'm sorry you don't listen to IM. Sorry, I I
was reading through. I was reading through.

Speaker 2 (38:34):
Yeah, he doesn't listen. That's all good. I was reading. Yeah,
you were ready to give your one not.

Speaker 6 (38:39):
Doing your soul show. It is hard doing and not proggressive.
Wait for it, wait for it, there comes.

Speaker 2 (38:47):
There comes. Let me just see here. And what did
they did? They give him any gambling items or no,
thank you? Some scratch off? What else we got? Lead, guys?
Hard lost last night and Monday night football for one better.

Speaker 11 (39:06):
A Florida man who placed a million dollar bet on
the Bills at the first half line at minus one
and a half million dollars. He placed on that at
minus one ninety six also placed a separate million dollar
bet on the Bills minus four and a half in
the first half at minus one twenty.

Speaker 2 (39:21):
Obviously, he got money to burn.

Speaker 11 (39:23):
Lost two million dollars in the first half alone because
the Broncos, of course, went into halftime fifteen to eight.

Speaker 6 (39:29):
Got yeah, big bills fan, huh jeez.

Speaker 2 (39:32):
He got bills and then his bank account a whole
bunch of them.
