So it was the Kapper on Week eleven in the NFL.
Last night, it was the Philadelphia Eagles coming back trailing

(01:16):
by ten for a large portion of that game last
night beating the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. Kansas
City had their opportunities, They had their chances, no doubt,
but nonetheless it was Philadelphia getting a little bit of
revenge for what happened in the Super Bowl. And look,
there's been some changes as far as how we view

(01:36):
how the rest of the season is going to look,
and most importantly like who's going to win some of
these awards.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Like now, the.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
Philadelphia Eagles are the favorite to win the Super Bowl.
According to our friends of DraftKings, they are a slight
favorite over the forty nine ers and the Chiefs. So
is that an accurate depiction as of right now of
what you would make of the NFL that right now,
the Philadelphia Eagles should be the favorite to win the
Super Bowl.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
I mean they've got the best record. They just went
into Arrowhead in primetime and were able to find a
way of beating the.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
Chiefs, went I went, Ian, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
I you don't want to put on one play marcuz
Valdez Scanling could have changed the outcome of that game.
But there's a number of plays throughout the course of it.
I'm sure there's some officiating too.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
You know.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
You look the swift play might have been a hold
on Zakias on the edge. You go back and you know,
look at the touchdown to Kelsey, that could have maybe
been OPI or some contact with the defender who's covering them.
I mean, there's always those things you go back and think, like,
how does that change the outcome of the game. But
as of right now, yeah, the Eagles are the best
team in the NFL. And the crazy thing is it

(02:45):
doesn't feel like they've played their best football. They've just
continually found games to win. With one exception this season.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
I didn't understand the false start on Kansas City where
it looked like Brandon Graham committed a neutral zone and
for action and they called a false start on the center,
Like I didn't. I didn't understand that. I think Andy
Reid was looking around going what.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
There's a lot of penalties that don't There was like
three or four, like egregious holds that took place like
egregious and they didn't call it. The pick on the
Kelsey touchdown was a tat bit of a it could
have gone either way. Yeah, you know type of deal.
I mean, there's but that goes back to the hole.
That's a whole nother conversation in itself. The impact that

(03:27):
the referees have on the game.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
By the way, probably my favorite part when almost kind
of highlight on the broadcast though, too, is you know
it Hurts walks up the line of scrimmage, he's looking
to change the mic identification for this the quarterback run play,
and Kelsey waves him off. He's like no, no, no, no, no,
like keep it the way it is and all that.
And it was smart too, because Kelsey was the player
because of the front that was gonna end up pulling

(03:51):
the lead block for Hurts on that run. But that
was just one of the kind of cooler instances they
were able to capture two and talking about like what
goes on in the field and is not It's not
too often a quarterback who is as established and has
done as much as Hurts that you get waved off
by a center on something. But you're also talking about

(04:12):
a future Hall of Famer and Jason Kelcey, who obviously,
by the way, is as smart as it gets and
probably is as good as they come at the center position, so.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
As tough as they get. Because push, He'll go down
in history as the reason why I worked. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
Yeah, everyone wants to attribute it to like all these
different It starts with Kelsey and it ends with Kelsey,
like like, that's really what makes it first and nine
every time they get the ball because of how he's
able to snap push forward through. I mean, it's just
he's such a big piece of everything that they do.
I think, you know, we talked about again guys that
aren't there anymore, and how it impacts their roster the

(04:53):
following year, when Jason Kelsey retires, there will be a
gigantic hole in the middle.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
Of that offensive line.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
So Eagles fans enjoying why you got him because he
is an absolute treasure in every in every way.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
And what happened when they lost penalty, they haven't been
the same. They haven't been the same team since and
pittsgar Yeah, we haven't been the same since. You can't
you can't undervalue a dope ass center, like that's the
that's like, you.

Speaker 4 (05:22):
Know what's crazy to me.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
You know, if you look at the most talented offensive lineman,
typically your center is like the least of the five
because he's the guy who's almost always gonna get help
in some capacity. He's either to get one of the
two guards or the slide or however it is. And
it's it's sometimes kind of harder to get a center
isolated unless you're in a bear front, and even then

(05:45):
it's just it's usually nowadays like that's who they'll put
in as far as a lesser offensive lineman. But in
the NFL, you need someone who's an absolute stud because
of how much it is on his plate in regards
to the calls they make, what they're asked to do physically,
and and you don't, I mean, you can't have a
mismatch anywhere across the offensive front.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
And it seems like this year is the final year
for Kelsey and Philly, like he's gonna call it after
this year. He was already close to doing it after
last year. And now he's showing up on the bye
week doing Thursday night football. He's going to make a
killing in the broadcasting game.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
If that's the way he wishes to go. I mean,
they've already established it. Yeah, so it seems cool.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
Thing is he'll be able to do like what he wants.
You know, him and Travis starting their own podcast and
as popular as that's been, and obviously you know, he
gets the benefit of it too because he's on the
podcast and so with Taylor Swift stuff, and now it
doesn't only help Travis, it helps Jason. And because of that,
now it's like when you have a podcast that's that successful,

(06:45):
you can call your own shots. Like you can look
at all these all these different people and say like, yeah,
I don't feel like I need to go do that.
You know, like I'm I'm already able to do what
I'm doing now, so I don't need you, which is
pretty dope.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
I'm not trying to be a killjoy here. You know.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
I don't want to do this because I'm a big
Jalen Hurts fan. I loved his story coming from Alabama,
how he played at Oklahoma, the fact that he was
given an opportunity franchise quarterback, love that he got paid
this offseason.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
I love all that stuff.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
But I mean, should he really be after last night's
game the favorite to win MVP. I mean, if I
understand his importance to the Eagles, but it does feel
like I come away from that game last night and
I go, man, I feel like Patrick Mahomes should be
the MVP more than Jalen Hurts. Like I mean, I

(07:34):
think Jalen Hurts has got more to work with there.
I don't think he's had the greatest season statistically, and
I just feel like there's some quarterbacks maybe in the NFL,
who have had better years, and yet Jalen Hurts is
sitting here after Week eleven. He's the favorite, accordinated to
our friends at DraftKings, to win MVP this upcoming season
or at the end of this year.

Speaker 4 (07:55):
I mean, look, there's a lot of football left we played.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
You know, whether he wants to make more of a
ca to convince people like you who doubt it, or
other people want to make their case. However, I mean,
I understand why he's there and in that position. I
think when we look at the MVP, though, it's kind
of similar to the Heisman, like a lot of times
that ends up going to one of the best players.

Speaker 4 (08:15):
One of the best teams.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
I mean, there's times and years where you've had I mean,
for example, go back to Barry Sanders' career, Like Barry
Sanders's gonna be the MVP every single season, like every
single season, if you're really being real about it, or
Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers during that streak of time.
I mean, there's certain guys you could have said, Yeah,
these guys are the MVP. They might not win it

(08:38):
this year, but like they should, like if you put
them on another team, like I don't know, Tampa Bay Bucks,
I'm probably gonna win a super Bowl. That happened with
Tom obviously. You know Rogers is gonna have a shot
to do it next year with the Jets, Like I
think that's the tough part is there's certain players like
Mahomes who are first ballot Hall of famers. You know,
they're like the most talented, but you can't just give

(08:59):
it to them every year. And that's why I feel
like you're gonna have an argument made for both Mahomes
and Hurtz out of this.

Speaker 4 (09:06):
But there's other players who will be in the mix too.
I mean c J.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
Stroud right now statistically has played probably better than anyone.

Speaker 3 (09:13):
Yeah, Lamar Jackson as well too in the conversation. Obviously
there's been you know, rock parties in there as well
too too. So yeah, there's there's many more weeks of
this stuff to go, but it'll be a back and
forth affair apparently. By the way, Lee, you're saying that,
and I just am seeing this kind of floated out
there that it's Travis Kelsey was also talked about potential retirement.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
Yes.

Speaker 5 (09:34):
In a recent interview with The Wall Street Journal, says,
more than you could ever imagine. I've been thinking about
retirement with the lingering injuries from my eleven surgeries. I
feel them every day.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
Hey, ran off sore too. And you know, you know
what's interesting about him saying that I was watching the
game and I had the fireplace going fire by the way, firewood,
fire place going. You know, it makes makes a difference
when you can smell the wood. Yeah, hear the crackling man.
And I was under I was under a very very

(10:05):
comfortable blanket, and I was on my couch that is
actually big enough to hold me and my entire family,
your entire family, and cues entire family and big people.
It's a it's a big ass couch. That's how I
like it. I like to be able to sink into
that bad, relatable couch too. And all I could think
about was look at those rain drops on their helmets.

(10:28):
I'm paying attention to the wet helmets, you know why,
because I was like, that feels gross. I can't even
imagine how gross them dudes feel. Right now, I'm so
glad i'm here. Wasn't that bad, was it?

Speaker 4 (10:42):
Man?

Speaker 1 (10:43):
Don't cold the worst gross?

Speaker 2 (10:46):
Man?

Speaker 1 (10:46):
I'd rather plan seventeen degree weather than play in, you know,
forty or fifty.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
And cold it because you can't escape it. You know,
like like snow, it hits you, it gets off you,
it's like, all right, snow, But when that rain be
hitting you, it's like you just it's just I don't know, man,
just totally.

Speaker 4 (11:09):
I was.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
I was reliving a moment when I was sitting on
my couch, and so to think about retirement. I ain't
gonna lie, man. I know they'll probably get to a
point of where they look back on and be like, man, like,
I'm so glad I'm sitting here right now. I'm warm.
I can enjoy these other guys being cold. Paying their dudes,
you know, as retirement is beautiful if you if you

(11:32):
wanted to be bad the way Kelsey does, not to
be afraid of. He does look slower this year, noticeably slower.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
Well, he's got like three guys on him someplace. I
mean it's yeah, that probably plays a role. I mean,
you got literally summing up on you in most cases,
like every player, every other play. I guess, I guess
you get to that point where you've been as successful
as Travis Kelsey is and you'd say, okay, like what
are like, what are the things you're still looking to accomplish.
He's a he's a first ballot Hall of Famer, He's

(11:59):
one two Super Bowls. He's one of the most statistically
accomplished players.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
Taylor Swift, there's that.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
Yeah, he's obviously got a very successful podcast and everything
else off the field. So you look at you say,
like it's on him now, like whatever he wants for
the rest of his career, and maybe it's more of
a focus on quality of life, who knows, But I mean,
either way, what a story for both Travis and Jason,
which one of the storylines from last night's matchup. But still,

(12:27):
I mean, the league loses is going to lose two
of the better personalities, and that's tough. I mean, look
at all the different commercials and stuff going on. I mean,
someone's got to someone's gotta be in those commercials, right.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
I wonder if they walk away at the same time
so they can go in the Hall of Fame the same.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
Year, that'd be pretty cool.

Speaker 4 (12:45):
That'd be dope.

Speaker 2 (12:45):
I'd be honest, that'd be pretty cool.

Speaker 4 (12:47):
That'd be pretty dope.

Speaker 2 (12:48):
Oh no, Travis walked away from Jason pretty pretty quickly.
Led Jason wasn't done. Travis walked away off. Kind of interesting.
You had to drop.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
And here's the deal, if you'd rather lose one, Oh.

Speaker 4 (13:02):
Yeah. I mean, well that's assuming though, that they're going
to play in the super Bowl. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (13:05):
Well, but because here's the thing is, if they do
both retire, Jason's got the last laugh. That unless like
what like unless the chief's going on with the super Bowl.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
Yeah, but he lost in the Super Bowl, you know
what I mean. Jason got the last laugh on beating him,
but he didn't beat them when the ring was on
the line, you know, he said, hey, we beat you last,
but he said we beat you in the last one.
That count. Geez mom was in the in the in
the stands with her her mixed jersey and hat, you know.

(13:37):
With the Kansas City and Philly, they talked about Taylor
Swift as much as if she was there, and marketed
and promoted her and talked about her being on Dancing
with the Stars.

Speaker 3 (13:51):
I'm just tired of it. I'm tired of it. It's
it is. It reached its peak. It reached the crescendo.
Clear it clearly has not like they're just they're they're
they're beating a dead horse at this point.

Speaker 1 (14:03):
And at ESPN not get a crack at it. I
thought they only network that didn't get Taylor Swift at
one of the games.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
I mean they talked about her. Was it on ESPN? Yesterday?

Speaker 4 (14:13):
Was ESPN?

Speaker 2 (14:14):
ESPN? Man, they talked about her so much?

Speaker 4 (14:16):
Man, what day is it? Where's Todd?

Speaker 2 (14:19):
Where is Todd?

Speaker 3 (14:19):
I just like, at some point we just got to
move on. Man, Taylor Swift's not going to be at
the game. Neither am I. So what what does it matter?

Speaker 4 (14:28):
She's going to bring more viewers.

Speaker 3 (14:31):
I'm just gonna They did a side You've seen my
work on TV, you know, I bring viewers. They did
a sideline report on her being in a different hemisphere,
a sideline upstate on where Taylor Swift was a Monday
night game.

Speaker 1 (14:51):
And they're like, why know she might be here, Let's
just act like she is.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
One will notice you can see Travis and Jason's mom
sitting up there in an empty seat right next store
by the Swift who are waiting for.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
I mean, this is this is a Disney company, should
they can they have just hired lookke Taylor Swift dopplegame.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
Well, all they had to do was put like a
mask on, a COVID mask on, or a hoodie and
have her put up like the heart fingers and say
that that's her. You know, it's not like they they're
not well versed in being able.

Speaker 1 (15:19):
To Holmes family to do the awkward celebrations too.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
There you go.

Speaker 3 (15:22):
You know that is a good point where do you
bring up they could have just come up with some
sort of character costs and like when you go to
Disneyland and you see it's not really Mickey Mouse, it's
some Yahoo and a Mickey Mouse outfit.

Speaker 2 (15:33):
Well there's a bunch of Mickey Mouses all over the park,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (15:38):
So he can't be in you know, all those places.

Speaker 3 (15:40):
Right, Yeah, So like you couldn't, like if you're Disney
and you knew this game was coming up, you couldn't,
you know, get it together and hire somebody to fast
paced a costume that looked like Taylor Swift and have
them sit up there in the booth.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
It's not like you have to fall out Walt Disney
to figure this out.

Speaker 2 (15:54):
That is a great point, you know, that is a
great point.

Speaker 3 (15:58):
You've gone too far and yeah, to leave his frozen
ass based on the conditions. It's not like he was
gonna thow o that airhead last night an opportunity.

Speaker 1 (16:08):
It has to be clear. It is Walt Disney's whole
body versus Ted Williams head. That's the difference between.

Speaker 3 (16:13):
By the way, can we also double check this year
a movie guy was in Sino Man, a Walt Disney production.

Speaker 4 (16:19):
Just one, of course, I can tell you that.

Speaker 3 (16:22):
So all right, so now it all makes sense. So
now we know where they got the idea from. Was
it really Yeah, it's surprising to me too, Yes, that's
what they got.

Speaker 1 (16:31):
Yeah, I mean you have to ask Lee, like I
distinctly remember, Yeah, because Brendan Fraser had a series of movies.
I'm sure he had a contract with Disney to produce,
you know, to make all that. So, yeah, what a
great movie.

Speaker 2 (16:43):
By the way, man, remember it, Robin Williams, Polly Shore,
Brendan Fraser. Which one was Robin Williams when he was
like the computer or the and then there's.

Speaker 3 (16:55):
Something man, Yeah, maybe that's what it is. And Sino
Man is where brend Fraser wakes up in a block
of ice as a caveman because like digging for a house, right, yeah,
they're digging for a house by this block of ice.

Speaker 1 (17:10):
And in southern California or wherever it was.

Speaker 2 (17:13):
And so Poulli Shore takes him around town. He takes
him to this.

Speaker 3 (17:16):
Let he's still he's still doing comedy. Poulli Shore takes
him to this liquor store and starts showing him how
to do microwave burritos and like how to go underneath us.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
I do remember it. I do remember it now that
you're memory. And Lee, how much money that movie make?

Speaker 3 (17:34):
If that movie made over forty dollars, God bless him. Interesting,
come on, Lee, come on, let's go. This is important stuff.
As we break down one of the great money night
football games we've ever seen.

Speaker 6 (17:47):
It grossed forty million on a seven million dollar budget.

Speaker 2 (17:50):
Oh wow, there you go.

Speaker 1 (17:52):
It made It made ten on its opening weekend.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
Oh yes, oh yes, it's pretty awesome. That's how it's done. Nice.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
Do you know there was a sequel to Encino Man?

Speaker 4 (18:03):
Was it?

Speaker 1 (18:03):
Really? It was called California Woman?

Speaker 2 (18:06):
Oh wow? Who was the woman in the movie.

Speaker 1 (18:11):
I guess I'm looking at it now. I don't know
anything about the plot, So Jean Spps.

Speaker 2 (18:18):
I think never heard of that.

Speaker 4 (18:20):
I believe it could be wrong there.

Speaker 2 (18:22):
Yeah, well, I.

Speaker 3 (18:23):
Mean, you know, you gotta uh got a thumb out
one way or the other, you know.

Speaker 5 (18:28):
Speaking of PAULI shure he is trying to sell another
Encino Man with Brendan Fraser.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
And Brendan Fraser signed up for it. No mean, Brendan Fraser,
you're dude, and that's your homeboy. I leave that alone. Okay,
that dude, I thought you. I thought you knew him.

Speaker 3 (18:43):
No you no, I know somebody who knows that.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
I know somebody who knows them. That is a gross
violation of trust. You are a dirt bag and a half.
I'm just jogging my memory, like don't you know him.

Speaker 4 (19:04):
Now?

Speaker 2 (19:04):
I remember exactly who he is.

Speaker 3 (19:08):
He's the tomb raider guy, right, Well, just say if
they're playing, I'll just say, yeah, he is all the same.

Speaker 1 (19:19):
If he is playing, I was way off. Sean Shepps
was the director of that movie, Lisa Donovan.

Speaker 4 (19:25):
I think it's the actual actress. My apologies.

Speaker 3 (19:28):
And if, by the way, if they're going to do
in Sino Man too, they got to get him out
of that fat suit he war in the whale. If
you want to put him on those saw horses in
the garage again, gonna break down those bad boys.

Speaker 2 (19:39):
Just say, I'm assuming that was a fat Why do
you have.

Speaker 1 (19:41):
Such a distinct memory of this of this film.

Speaker 2 (19:45):
And Sino Man? That was my all twenty two's for
a time, you know.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
And you know a woman I'm I can't even figure
out how much it grossed.

Speaker 2 (19:52):
Yeah, well, congratulations to a ball. Donovan's a good actress.
Do you say actor now instead actress? Well, I say this.

Speaker 3 (20:02):

Speaker 2 (21:44):
The wind?

Speaker 3 (21:44):
I was washing my hands. I was showing my son
how to wash his hands.

Speaker 2 (21:48):
With your wedding ring on. Yeah, and I just cause
it's like one of those like little like Amazon. That's
the reason why I don't wear mine is because my
fear of losing it. I mean, oh okay, it's like
a rough one like silicon. Yeah, but but I did,
I got you.

Speaker 4 (22:05):
You know.

Speaker 2 (22:06):
That's a good move and I can now use that
wouldn't be able to live with myself if I lost it.
That's a great point, thank you. So I keep it protected. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (22:15):
So what kind of ring is?

Speaker 4 (22:16):
It's like one of those kalo or however they pronounce it.

Speaker 3 (22:19):
I don't know, Like it's the rubber band on right, yeah,
like silicone or something like whatever.

Speaker 8 (22:24):
That.

Speaker 2 (22:24):
But is it your original not silicone?

Speaker 1 (22:26):
No, It's like it's the one you so you can
work out in it.

Speaker 2 (22:29):
Yeah. Yeah, but he's got a replacement on right now.

Speaker 4 (22:32):
Yeah, that's what I'm saying, dude.

Speaker 2 (22:33):
Yeah, he's got to replace more comfortable. See. And I
won't do those because that's not the original. So that's
not authentic, that's not the way I was put in
front of the man himself.

Speaker 4 (22:42):
You know. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (22:43):
So I don't even put on them fake ones like that.
I just don't do it at all.

Speaker 4 (22:47):
You know, you could get a tattoo.

Speaker 2 (22:48):
Yeah, not going to do that either. You know, that's
just not the place where you you do stuff like that.
It's way too painful. I thought about it getting a tattoo, yeah,
right there on your neck. That make it very narra.
So that he started scratching his neck, like he said,
where the lips and the property of right right there
on your neck?

Speaker 3 (23:09):
Did?

Speaker 2 (23:11):
Yeah? Because he was dating so it was who was
that he was? He was messing with somebody that was
famous too, I hope. So yeah, those are some famous lips. Yeah,
so so there is there's that. Well, I'm sorry you
lost your fake wedding right down there.

Speaker 4 (23:28):
You know.

Speaker 1 (23:29):
Did he learn to wash his hands properly? He's good,
you're a big washer. Hands guy too, So that's that's
big in.

Speaker 4 (23:35):
The Knox house.

Speaker 2 (23:36):
Yeah, he's it was worth it. So did you tell
him don't stick your your hands down in that that
hole because you know, anything and everything can happen when
you do that.

Speaker 1 (23:46):
By the way, how many people you actually stick their
hand down the garbage disposal?

Speaker 4 (23:52):
Like?

Speaker 1 (23:52):
Are there that many people that?

Speaker 4 (23:54):
Like, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (23:55):
I feel like that's kind of a common sense thing, like, hey,
there's a spinning blade.

Speaker 2 (23:59):
Yeah, I'm not smart.

Speaker 4 (24:00):
To stick anything down there.

Speaker 2 (24:01):
I've done it only to remove like items that needed
to be removed, like a silverware piece might have fallen down.

Speaker 4 (24:09):
Oh I get that.

Speaker 1 (24:10):
But you can also get like some like tongs, like
solid tongs to go get it out, you know.

Speaker 2 (24:14):
Yeah, I probably it probably would be hard to get
it because sometimes they get lodged and I don't know.
I have done it, but it's like one of my
biggest fears ever is that I lose a finger just
trying to get a simple piece of something out of
get ronson huh, pull back a stump. Yeah, I don't

(24:35):
want that.

Speaker 5 (24:36):
My plumber was over yesterday trying to fix my garbage
disposal and had his hand it was freaking me out.

Speaker 2 (24:41):
Yeah, trying to get it going. He's a veteran.

Speaker 6 (24:44):
Yeah, but even me watching it was yeah.

Speaker 2 (24:47):
It'd be like that one time that a mouthful, any
reason looks ready, the slightest reasons, Oh my gosh.

Speaker 1 (25:02):
A beer something my heart?

Speaker 4 (25:05):
Yeah, you know that. Guys just towing that car. It
stressed me out.

Speaker 1 (25:09):
For the person's car, that is, I'm like, grab, it
is Tuesday already.

Speaker 2 (25:14):
Let that man ain't know what day it was or
any time travel. God, dang, y'are doing it on a
different levels.

Speaker 1 (25:21):
What day did he think it was?

Speaker 2 (25:22):
He thought it was Monday, So so he.

Speaker 1 (25:25):
Literally skipped an entire day of his life. He just
he just hit.

Speaker 4 (25:30):
Fast forward through twenty four hours of his life.

Speaker 2 (25:33):
That is some drinking right there or something else or both,
you know, all right, time Todd's.

Speaker 4 (25:40):
Drop when he came on and sang what he knows?

Speaker 6 (25:46):
Yeah, I do have it in the system. In fact
that you need to play.

Speaker 4 (25:48):
It just so people get in a sense for what
we're dealing with, you know.

Speaker 6 (25:51):
In fact, I grabbed some new audio for him this week.

Speaker 2 (25:53):
Come on, let's listen to it. Let's listen to it.

Speaker 6 (25:56):
Give me a second, all right, let's pull it up.

Speaker 2 (25:58):
Let's hear what Todd.

Speaker 3 (25:59):
Do you want to hear Sean Payton talk about Josh
Dobbs the Saints, or we can hear Jim Harbaugh breakdown
how he feels about locker Room.

Speaker 2 (26:09):
Like, I totally think that top would be way more
interesting to hear. To be honest with you, but I mean,
if we want to do what we can do, what
Jonas wants to do always on the same behind the scenes,
Jonas not show with two pros and a cup of Joe.
Behind the scenes. Here, I'm trying to buy some people
some time. So that's because Lee was pointing at you,

(26:31):
not like, let's do his Let's do what what the
boss is. Let's go ahead, let's do what the boss said.
Let's let's let's cue up. Which one is it that's
trying to buy.

Speaker 3 (26:39):
People some time? Here, it's called vamping. Here are you
pointing at me?

Speaker 4 (26:43):
Now?

Speaker 2 (26:43):
Are you point You're pointing that Jonas's Here was Jim Harbor.

Speaker 3 (26:48):
Here was Jim Harbor. I wanted him to be pointing
out about locker room. Got to be the boss to
get that point. Listen to the Yeah, well he just corrected.

Speaker 4 (26:57):
Yeah, just.

Speaker 2 (27:00):
Let's go.

Speaker 3 (27:00):
We're gonna play Jim horror By Harry. We got Jim
harr By here. Let's think a listen, It's.

Speaker 9 (27:05):
Like the Ted Lasso show, you know, Believe and what
comes out of that is believe. And I'm just so proud,
so proud of our team despite that noise, our locker
rooms in one piece. And uh, you like Ted for
me locker rooms a lot like my mom's bathing suits.
Like to see him in one piece?

Speaker 2 (27:26):
Whoa how about that?

Speaker 1 (27:27):
Huh that's an all timer right there. Maybe it's not
lying by the way, I think everyone can relate to that.

Speaker 2 (27:32):
Well. I don't want to see my mom in any
type of bathing suit, okay.

Speaker 1 (27:37):
But if you had to see her in a bathing suit,
you'd say it's a.

Speaker 2 (27:40):
Won no no, no, no.

Speaker 1 (27:44):
So she's coming to watch the kids at the beach. No,
what do you want to be at sweatpants?

Speaker 2 (27:48):
No, but we're like the grandma cover up like a shock. No,
just wear the grandmom shorts with the grandmom shirt, you know,
like that has the flowers on them and stuff like that,
and like it's good. You know, I don't want I
don't want to picture my mom in a swimsuit at
all period. Nope, nope, nope, Sorry that that weirded me out,

(28:10):
Just that it did.

Speaker 4 (28:11):
I'm glad Jim Harbor took you there.

Speaker 2 (28:12):
Yeah he did. I don't want the mental image. I
love you mom.

Speaker 3 (28:18):
Some thoughts on this, well, I just on the bathing
suit and listen, I demand everybody around me look like
a ten. So if it's my mom, two piece and
make it look good, all right, don't embarrass me.

Speaker 2 (28:31):
You know what I'll say about this though. The brilliance
of what he did was he said something so interesting
at the end of what he said that you didn't
even I didn't even think the focus on I lost
focus on everything else because he took me and mentally
gave me an image and a.

Speaker 4 (28:45):
View of magician.

Speaker 1 (28:47):
He's a magician. There you go, You're like, wait a second,
what happened?

Speaker 2 (28:52):
Yeah, I just I just don't want to see his
mom in a swimsuit. You know, one or two piece.

Speaker 3 (28:58):
You've had assistant coaches fired, you've had evidence destroyed, you've
had it looks.

Speaker 1 (29:05):
Well it was by that coach.

Speaker 2 (29:07):
Obviously, it looks awful.

Speaker 1 (29:12):
Like it's Michigan versus everybody. We did nothing wrong. We
want due process. Yep, we'll take the deal. Okay. That
was that was more of you know what I think
kind of came off as they act like.

Speaker 4 (29:24):
There was no wrongdoing.

Speaker 1 (29:26):
There was all this stuff floated out there about well, hey,
these other teams are doing it too, or they're doing
it against us, and they were colluding against us, and
all the stuff that came out, and then Michigan really
turned course where they're like, Yep, we don't want due process.

Speaker 4 (29:39):
We'll just go ahead take the punishment. There we go.

Speaker 1 (29:41):
And then by the way, that's from the Big Ten.
That's not from the NCAA.

Speaker 4 (29:46):
So there is.

Speaker 1 (29:46):
Still pending punishment for Jim Harbaugh and the violations he
committed in recruiting during COVID and this entire scenario situation,
and it might not be limited to just Jim ho ball,
which is what the interesting part is is it could
impact multiple coaches come next spring, next summer.

Speaker 2 (30:06):
I mean, he's gonna pull a Pete Carroll and get
out of town. I would love for him to win
play in the national title, win the national title. And
before he says hardball out, yeah I did it, yeah,
saying gills their asses, Yeah I did it I stole
them signs bitches, shoot programmed?

Speaker 1 (30:31):
What what I do feel bad about? Like, imagine, like
the NCAA has to be careful moving forward because think
about how it's gonna impact these players. True, you know,
like this team has been a really good football team
all year. Now it's more of like an issue of
injuries with what they have going on. But man, I
imagine them impacting this coaching staff so much so that

(30:55):
it actually impacts the players too.

Speaker 4 (30:57):
And and what Michigan has a chance of being able.

Speaker 2 (30:59):
To they'll leave and then Michigan will be right back
to where they were before Harball got there. That's what
I said the tangle web we we man not transfer portal.
Cats don't be having loyalty. Man. Well that's what I've learned.

Speaker 1 (31:12):
That on that team.

Speaker 2 (31:15):
I disagree, all right, they're loyalty on that themselves.

Speaker 4 (31:20):
Think about it. How many guys have they lost? Name
anyone they've lost?

Speaker 2 (31:24):
Yeah, let Jim Harball leave. Let Harball leave.

Speaker 4 (31:27):
Yeah, I'm not worried about that.

Speaker 2 (31:29):
Let Harball leave. I bet you you see a bunch
of dudes hit that portal.

Speaker 3 (31:32):
Yeah, But like in times like this, this is what
you see. This is when you discover who people really are.

but we can get Todd to come in studio.

Speaker 2 (32:43):
I do like that. Did Breard just now text back?
He did?

Speaker 6 (32:47):
He text me about five minutes ago.

Speaker 2 (32:48):
What the hell?

Speaker 4 (32:50):

And right now we've got some breaking news out of
the NFL.

Speaker 1 (34:21):
Breaking news from Fox Sports.

Speaker 3 (34:24):
Well, this is exactly why you watch Big Noon Kickoff
because if you were in State College a couple of
weeks ago, you would have seen a giant sign by
somebody behind Brady Quinn's shoulder that said fire Matt Canada.
And that's exactly what has happened. The Pittsburgh Steelers have
announced that Matt Canada, the offensive coordinator, has been fired.

(34:45):
Mike Tomlin, in a statement posted via the Steelers social
media account, wrote, Matt Canada has been relieved of his
duties as offensive coordinator. I appreciate Matt's hard work and dedication,
and I wish him the best moving forward in his career. So,
after this past weekend struggles against the Cleveland Browns Matt
Canada out as offensive cord.

Speaker 2 (35:05):
They just won't be here. Yeah, I wish you look
at all your endeavors.

Speaker 1 (35:08):
Yeah, look, it's it's tough. You know, you fire someone
at impacts. Obviously their family friends love all that stuff
around them. But this has been going on now for
three years. He's been the OC since twenty twenty one,
that has Ben Roethlisberger's final year, that team was twenty
third in the NFL, and offense they didn't get any better.
In fact, they've only gotten worse since then. They're twenty

(35:30):
third last year, and some people want to attribute that
to Kenny Pick.

Speaker 4 (35:33):
He was a rookie.

Speaker 1 (35:34):
He only had twelve of those starts.

Speaker 4 (35:36):
You know, this year, the twenty eighth.

Speaker 1 (35:39):
It doesn't matter who started, who's played a quarterback for them,
and yes, the roster probably still needs a little bit
of work. Offense will be speaking though. They have really
really struggled under his direction, and someone's going to take
the fall for that. And the interesting thing is when
you actually come through Matt Canada's history, you go back
to twenty eighteen, he was the obviously coordinator, obviously interim
head coach too their ninth in the BIG and that year,

(36:01):
the year before that LSU he was ninth in the
SEC as a play caller. Really twenty sixteen, there's a
couple of years that stand out, and if you look
at his resume, he has jumped from team to team
to team to team, I mean literally, in a ten
year span, he's coached for Northern Illinois a play caller, Wisconsin,
NC State, Pittsburgh, LSU, Maryland, and then evention on the

(36:21):
Pittsburgh Steelers staff. Think about that for a second. He's
run through all those teams and there's really been only
a couple of years. You can point to pitt in
twenty sixteen where they are second the ACC and scoring,
and then really Northern Illinois you look at the MAC
back in twenty eleven where they're second in the MAC,
and then his final year at NC State they were
pretty bad early on at NC State in.

Speaker 4 (36:43):
Twenty thirteen twenty fourteen.

Speaker 1 (36:44):
So it's kind of odd too that he got selected
for this position. Maybe his experience at pitt University, given
that these Steelers and Pittsburgh's share a facility and they
might know each other, that.

Speaker 4 (36:56):
They thought he could be the right guy for it.

Speaker 1 (36:58):
But they have really struggled offensive and now it's more
a matter of who's calling the players moving forward and
can they get this offense with greater productivity? Can they
just out, you know, out and gain a team at
any point in time this season?

Speaker 2 (37:09):
What's his relation to Pickett? Q was he there doing
or before pick.

Speaker 1 (37:15):
So Pickett didn't get there to the following year and
twenty sixteen, it was Nathan Peterman who helped lead Pittsburgh
to an eight to five record, and in that second
the A SEC and scoring and that offense.

Speaker 3 (37:26):
I mean, Mike Tomlin's probably looking at this whole thing, going,
I got the defense, Like our defense keeps us in
every single game. That's what tom Well, He's probably thinking,
like if we could get something offensively, why not the Steelers,
Like if you believe Kenny Pickett can be the guy,
and you've got George Pickens and you've got Warren and
Nasey Harris and these guys like Toma's probably looking at it.

Speaker 2 (37:48):
I think Naji Harris coming out and saying what he
said in the media maybe put put a little bit
of pressure on the situation.

Speaker 3 (37:55):
Are saying that, Are you saying Najia Harris got Matt
Canada fired. Is that what you're doing here? You're gonna
be reckless like that?

Speaker 1 (38:01):
No, By the way, I would think Mike Solivan gets
the tab as play caller. Now I'm not positive. I
don't have any information, but uh, he's coached a long time.
He would be a guy that I think it's looked
at heavily to be the play call in this instance.

Speaker 4 (38:16):
I could be wrong. Who knows who ends up being.

Speaker 2 (38:18):
Are you able to let me ask you guys this
Are you able to bring because everybody names in a
room when stuff like this happened, you could bring a
guy in. I'm about to ask, can you just bring
a guy in? Like, hey, we were going to go
get him next year if it didn't work out anyway?

Speaker 4 (38:32):
Coach the Colts slash year?

Speaker 2 (38:33):
Well, yeah that is true. You think that is true?
You think John Gruden is oc? Is that real?

Speaker 3 (38:38):
Labar?

Speaker 2 (38:39):
Huh No, yeah, no, maybe Chick Kelly, well he just
beat He just beat USC though. He did just beat
USC though. Well, I'm going home, goodbye,
