Speaker 3 (00:33):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio. What you know about it? Far?

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Yeah? What do you know about it? Jonas?

Speaker 3 (00:42):
Come on?

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Yeah, Jonas? What do you know about Brady Jonas?

Speaker 3 (00:48):
Come on, bar lets get fired up?

Speaker 2 (00:50):
Come on, far Yonas, Let's get some lotion for our hands.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
I already did it. Oh you missed it, than I'm
glad we missed it, already lighted up, ready to go.
I'm trying to get a Soltion sponsorship, so I'm trying
to do.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
No one wants that.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
What do you mean?

Speaker 2 (01:06):
No one wants any part of that?

Speaker 3 (01:09):
You don't want your hands to feel it's getting chippy out.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
No, I don't, dude, you don't want your hands on feel?
What John?

Speaker 3 (01:15):
I feel a little bit softer out in that cold weather.
Come on, you gotta be sitting on the hey. You
could either do that or go isotoners. You know, and
if I wear isotoners, nobody will see my thumb ring.
So I gotta go lotion.

Speaker 4 (01:26):
So I'll be wearing gloves this week. I made that
mistake last time. I mean, I did wear long Johns
or like any thurmples and it was freezing, and I
always try to be tough, a tough guy, and I
wear gloves. I was just like, nope, I'm not moving
around enough. I'm just sitting sitting there in a chair
for three hours, Like I need to be moving around

(01:48):
in order for me to feel like somewhat warm.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
So that was a mistake.

Speaker 5 (01:52):
Thermals, Yeah, long Johns sounds so old school.

Speaker 4 (01:56):
It's kind of funny, you know what, though, I needed
the long john like nowadays thermals are like just an
underlayer that's supposed to be warmer.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
I need the old school, like.

Speaker 4 (02:06):
I don't know what material that is, but the actual
like thermal, like where it's gonna look crappy in a suit,
but I will be comfortable and warm, So I'd rather
wear those does.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
It have the h does it open up in the
back like the.

Speaker 5 (02:18):
Old Yeah, oh my gosh.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
At least there were people can mock those guys back
in the day, but they were thinking correctly. They were yeah,
they were yeah, they were absolutely thinking. You know, listen,
we got to make this easy on people. They don't
don't want to pull it all the way down.

Speaker 4 (02:34):
So you got to understand though about like way back then,
that was obviously like more at the precipice of their thought,
Like that was more on the forefront of, hey, these
are the things that I need to find food, I
need to be able to go to the bathroom. I
need Like we were, they were worried about social media
or like the news or whatever else was going on.

(02:55):
They were like way more concerned with the day to
day activities. So of course they put a precedent on like, hey,
I need to have quick exit, you know.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
And then they've had that. It needs to come out quick, you.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
Know, and then button it back up and we're ready
to get.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
A squad somewhere. Yeh man, I was.

Speaker 5 (03:12):
I was at my son's football game the other day
and it was freezing, freezing, freezing cold, and I went
to the restroom bruh.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Oh and everything. I gotta be honest.

Speaker 5 (03:26):
I was washing my hands, I was drying my hands,
and as I was turning to walk out, I saw
this old head man and he went to the bathroom
the old head way.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
And I hate to ad minute, but I did.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
Oh. He dropped all the way down to his knees,
his trousers all the way down to his knees.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
And that's what this conversation made me think of.

Speaker 5 (03:54):
Though they ask me why, I just thought it was
so funny.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
A lot of people do that.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
It's yeah, it is. It is odd. I mean it's
a little weird. And there are two things that I
don't get in the urinal and we've talked about it before.
I don't get the flushing mid stream while you're going.
That doesn't make any sense to where people start going
and then they'll flush. I don't understand it. And I
don't understand people that can't just unbutton or on zip.

(04:27):
They just drop all the way down to their knees
and then sometimes let their bare ass hang out. I
don't get it. I don't understand it. Like that's the
advantage to having outdoor plumbing.

Speaker 5 (04:37):
You know that isn't that like a childhood thing, Like
like when you're a kid, you do it. But when
you're when you're like what age do you stop dropping your.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
About about four?

Speaker 2 (04:51):
Four?

Speaker 3 (04:52):
Go four or five? You'll figure it out eventually.

Speaker 5 (04:58):
All right, I'm sorry, but that's what this made me
think about.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
I'm sorry. Don't ask me why I took it.

Speaker 5 (05:05):
It just it was too funny to me, and I
was it was just funny, and I was going to
send it to somebody and I never ended up sending it.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
But JO made you think about it, so I said
that job.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
Well, listen, if you do need to run out and
get some gloves or some long John's, you're gonna probably
get in your car, and I hope you've got some
tire rack time. We are broadcasting life tire rack dot
com studios tire rack dot com. Well you get there
an unmatched selection, fast, free shipping, free road as a
protection at over ten thousand recommended installers, ti rack dot com.
The way tire buying should be. Before we hear from

(05:37):
a couple of future Hall of famers, one specifically who's
got some critiques about the NFL, we do want to
mention this this came out a short time ago. According
to the NFL network, Joey Bosa of the Chargers, the report
is he suffered a right foot sprain at lambeau Field
this past Sunday. They are placing him on injury reserve.

(05:58):
He does have a chance to return in this season.
But this is a guy who's dealt with injuries in
the past. This is an organization who can't not help
but deal with injuries all the way through the past
few years. And so another bit of bad news for
the Chargers. Joey Bosa going on IR. So that's unfortunate
for the Bolts.

Speaker 4 (06:18):
But YLI, man, it's frustrating for f you're an LA
Chargers fan. They just cannot ever have a season where
everyone stays healthy. I don't know, maybe that's asking for
a lot. Is that asking for a lot?

Speaker 3 (06:30):
I mean, at least get like just some piece of
good luck here or there, you know, like just something
like the Quentin.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
Eckler missed some time this year.

Speaker 4 (06:40):
They're always have guys deal with injuries, and I know
when most cases were like, yeah, that's every team. I
don't know, the ones that like the ones that are
able to make it through a season. Usually unscathed in
that way, it tend to always be the better teams
are in competition with Like I don't want to jinx
Kansas City, but like, look at Kansas City, Like how

(07:00):
often are we talking about like guys like they're their
top guys, like missing time or being outside. I feel
like you don't see that quite as often.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
And even when Kelsey was banged up this year, he
wasn't gone for that long. I mean he came back
and they were you know, they're still rolling. Yeah, it's that.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
I mean, the Chargers deal with the more injuries that
any team.

Speaker 4 (07:18):
It feels like to their star players, it's ridiculous and
it stinks because that roster's loaded and they just have
never been able to kind of keep everyone healthy, everyone
together and then see what they're truly capable of.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
Yeah, try having them as your Super Bowl pick.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
They're super disappointing team this year.

Speaker 3 (07:36):
That's fun.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Super disappointing. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
Well, speaking of disappointment, Tom Brady's disappointed. He's upset. He's
upset with the current state of the NFL. He was
on The Steven A. Smith Show and had his thoughts
about what's wrong with the current state of the National
Football League.

Speaker 6 (07:54):
I think there's a lot of mediocrity in today's NFL.
I don't see the excellence that I saw in the past.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
I think the coaching isn't as good as it was.
I don't think the development of young players is as
good as it was.

Speaker 6 (08:04):
The rules have allowed a lot of bad habits to
get into the actual performance of the game. So I
just think the product, in my opinion, is less than
what it's been. I think I look at a lot
of players like ray Lewis and Rodney Harrison and Ronnie
Lott and guys that impacted the game in a certain way,
and every hit they would have made would have been
a penalty. Your coach is complaining about their own player

(08:25):
being tackling and not necessarily, why don't they talk to
their player about how to protect themself. We used to
work on the fundamental those things all the time. Now
they're trying to be regulated all the time. Offensive players
need to protect them Sell, It's not the defensive player
to protect offensive player. A defensive player needs to protect them.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
Sell.

Speaker 6 (08:42):
I didn't throw the ball to certain areas because I
was afraid players are going to get knocked out. That's
the reality, I didn't throw it to the middle when
I played ray Lewis because you knock them out of
the game and I couldn't afford to lose a good player.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
So that was Tom Brady talking with Steven is stuff
now real. Aaron Rodgers also doubled down on it. He
was on the Pat McAfee shows starring AJ Hawk yesterday
and he basically said, and went on to point out, listen,
it's big picture more the softening of society. So those
are two legends, guys that have played the game for
that yots of that. I mean to listen, you know,

(09:15):
he took it opportunity. You want to hear Rogers.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
I mean, he's got a I guess like I kind
of want to hear it now.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
All right, so let's listen to Rogers all the Pat
mcabee show starring A. J.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
Hawk.

Speaker 7 (09:27):
If I'm looking at this from a real big picture,
like there's a softening of society that Jason has definitely
because things like this, look at all the sports. You
know what happened to hockey. Hockey is not doesn't have
the enforcer position. Why because we need the fighting out
of hockey is too violent stage, you know, and people
don't want to see the violence on TV. I think

(09:47):
people want to see football, vehic collision sport and not
you know, to where guys are getting mangled on the field.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
But they enjoy the big hits.

Speaker 7 (09:57):
And there's a certain place you just knew we're big
hitters and would push, you know, push the line of
what's a cheap shot and and what's a legit hit.

Speaker 3 (10:08):
So that was Rogers talking about it and wing it
as well too.

Speaker 4 (10:13):
Well, I mean quarterbacks saying it though, well, because I
think we're the ones that you know, especially around the protections,
because this is where it all started, I feel like,
was when Tom Brady got his knee taken out and
the protections for what the NFL deems as defensives players
started to get ramped up, so that injury occurred to

(10:35):
Tom Brady.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
What is eight? Was that the year?

Speaker 3 (10:37):
Yeah, right after the near perfect season.

Speaker 4 (10:41):
Yeah, so you know you start getting now quarterbacks, you
can't hit him. You have to hit them in a
certain frame, certain area. And it's evolved now to the
point where literally, if you're a defensive player, you can't
fall on top of the quarterback. You have to somehow
sack the quarterback, and then you have to protect you
have to not worry about yourself, protect the quarterback and

(11:01):
yourself as you fall to the ground.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
Imagine living in that world.

Speaker 4 (11:06):
So you know you've got this instance of the true
protections for the quarterback because they're the face of the
franchise and the face of the league. It really started
then and it's evolved now where it's been extended to
other players. And because I think in part fantasies become
so big. Offensive scoring is so important to the league.
I mean, any fan will tell you, and you if

(11:28):
you did a study, you hear, Okay, no one wants
to see a thirteen to ten ball game. They'd rather
see a thirty to twenty seven, you know, a forty
to thirty six game where.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
There's more scoring.

Speaker 4 (11:41):
That's just the reality of how the fan base takes
into an account the excitement.

Speaker 2 (11:46):
Of the game. They want to see scores. It's one
of the.

Speaker 4 (11:49):
Reasons why I feel like soccer doesn't resonate as much
with a lot of people in America. I know, the
lot there's a huge fan base for soccer in some ways,
but it's not like Europe, It's not like other international countries.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
And it's important because like there's just not a lot
of scoring. I mean, it's constant play, but it's like.

Speaker 4 (12:04):
Ah, okay, I'm really getting that jacked up about a
one nothing game.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
Now. Don't get me wrong. I like soccer.

Speaker 4 (12:09):
I appreciate for what it is, but there's other sports
where you look at it and you go through baseball.
When baseball is at his peak, it was a steroid era.
Dudes were launching balls left and right. It's scoring home
run after home run like that was fun to watch
the back and forth between Mark maguire and Sammy Sosa
and then Barry Bonds and how.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
Amazing he was at the end. Like that, that's what
we like.

Speaker 4 (12:35):
And because there's been such a concern about quarterbacks getting hurt,
and we've seen that this year. We've witnessed that as
far as scoring being down, how many unders have been
hitting on a weekly basis. And then on top of that,
the playmakers who are making those plays. I mean, it
got to the point when I was playing where you know,
you're considered defenseless as a receiver when you're in the

(12:55):
act of catching the football. So now the manner in
which you're hit is changed for the defense so that
that player is protected and he doesn't get hurt. Well,
to Tom Brady's point, you knew as a quarterback you
weren't gonna throw the ball into a tight window.

Speaker 2 (13:12):
And you know what happens a lot of times.

Speaker 4 (13:13):
You ever seen what a quarterback throws behind a guy
who's on an end cut or a slant route.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
They don't know why that happens.

Speaker 3 (13:18):
More often than not, they don't get decapitated.

Speaker 4 (13:21):
Yeah, because they feel the defensive player coming and they're
actually trying to throw to a spot where that player
is either gonna get catch it or it's gonna be incomplete,
but either way they're not gonna.

Speaker 2 (13:31):
Get blown up.

Speaker 4 (13:32):
It is literally a natural human reaction for quarterbacks where
they know they've they've done this a thousand times.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
They feel when.

Speaker 4 (13:41):
There's a tight window there and they feel where their
guy's running and the guy running towards them. They're not
gonna throw them into that like it's been drilled out
of you. You can try all you want, and when
you see quarterbacks throw into that, oftentimes it's because they
don't see that defender coming towards the receiver. I don't
know any quarterback who would throw a wide receives into
that or they're just they literally just missed or that

(14:03):
and were that inaccurate with it. But for the most part,
they're always going to end up throwing behind because they
want to protect that guy. It's a subconscious thing. And
so what happened is once those rules changed where the
receivers in the act of catching were considered defenseless, I
mean you could go back and then we talked about
Drew brees earlier.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
The Saints had a name for it.

Speaker 4 (14:23):
They called it NAP, a non aggressive position, And the
whole point of it was they were going to throw
those steam routes. Remember when they used to throw to
Jimmy Graham up the seam all the time. We'll think
about having a six foot six tight end that could
run like a deer and is a big target, can
elevate and catch, and guess what he gets protection He
can't hit him. So now you could throw that ball

(14:44):
up into harm's way and into a bunch of traffic
because you know they can't hit him like they used to.
And so as long as the defender had his back
turned all right to you as the quarterback as he's
chasing that guy.

Speaker 2 (14:56):
That was a non aggressive position.

Speaker 4 (14:58):
You were going to throw that ball up into that window,
into that space, off that scene because you knew he
was protected and the ball was protected because the dB
can't see it. Now, if the DB's looking back at
the quarterback and has a vision of the wide receiver,
they call that aggressive position. So the only reason you
don't throw that ball is not going to tight coverage.
You would throw it because that dB has the chance

(15:18):
of picking that ball off. But it now like those
tight windows have nothing to do anymore with guys not
getting hurt because they're protected. So the game has changed
dramatically for that reason, and it's changed the manner in
which how quarterbacks throw the football, even when you got
an enforcer in the middle. You know, guys like Bobby Wagner,

(15:38):
guys like Fred Warner who are going to be hitters
right their strengths, their skill set can't be on full
display because of the way the league has changed the rules.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
And it's unfortunate, it really is.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
I just the problem with it. And Lac Rodgers alluded
to this and that another clip where you said, you
know the moving target, like that's the part that always
bother me is how they're expecting these defenders in real
time to be able to adjust how they're going to
lay a hit on somebody when when a receiver's moving
or a ball carriers moving and everybody's trying to avoid

(16:12):
contact or get out of the way, and yet we're
punishing those guys based on a still frame when there's
no still frame in that moment in time. It's a
moving target, like there's a strike zone is moving around.
And the comp I always think about is if you
are a pitcher, imagine trying to throw to your target
but it's moving all around the plate like you can't
like try throwing a strike. And they're expecting these guys

(16:33):
to throw strikes with their hits, and if they don't,
they get pop fifteen yards and then get a check
in the mail for you know, here's thirty five thousand
dollars in you're out. And all of this being said,
I don't think it's ever going to go back to
what it was like, if anything, it's going to get
worse before it gets better. Like that's what it feels
like to me, and so like nobody likes it, but

(16:54):
nothing's going to be done about it.

Speaker 4 (16:55):
Why do you think they're pushing the flag football. I mean,
I'm seriously, this is like a conspiracy theory. Why do
you think everyone's pushing flap flag football? It's more inclusive
and there's way less of a chance of injury, Guys.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
Can play longer, the whole thing. There's a reason why
they're pushing a sport like flag football is not football?

Speaker 5 (17:17):
Why would that become an Olympic sport? And all these
years we've been playing football, Why why didn't football become
an Olympic sport? Why they have to Why did why
did into the Olympics have to be flay?

Speaker 3 (17:30):
It would like it would like the NBA being like,
all right, we're gonna have horse in the Olympics next year.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
I mean in a way, yeah, you're right. You know,
I don't understand too.

Speaker 4 (17:39):
Is like ath America, you know, if like, if we're
going to try to get something to be an Olympic sport,
we want to flaunt our strikes. Yes, it's almost like
putting on like a military show, you know, like other countries,
like how the tanks and everything else come out, they
go out the parade, everyone's waving the flag. It's like
like the Olympics are all opportunity to be like, no,

(18:00):
this is our sport. It's called American football, and we're
gonna beat the ever living crapit of everyone else, and
it's gonna send a signal so every other country out
there that wants to test us, Okay, We're still the USA.

Speaker 3 (18:10):
Damn right.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
That's what I don't get about this.

Speaker 4 (18:13):
It's like, oh, it's flag, Oh okay, Like you're not
flexing on the rest of the world like America usually
does and can.

Speaker 2 (18:22):
That's probably the most disappointing thing for me.

Speaker 4 (18:24):
It's like, when we really wanted to in basketball, we
put out the dream team that was like, oh okay,
no one's even close to us good as the US, right, Like,
why not do the same thing with the Olympics, with
the actual American tackle football and not flag football. That
would be way more fun to watch.

Speaker 3 (18:39):
Oh hell yeah, I'm into it. I'm into it. It
is two Pros and a Cup of Joe here on
Fox Sports Radio. LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with

you hit me with the tire rack yesterday and I
was like, yeah, here we go. You know, I don't know,
I don't know was that today or yesterday?

Speaker 2 (21:06):
Yes? Both, yesterday today, But you were rack like like you.

Speaker 5 (21:12):
Could almost like have to change your drawers after that,
Like you did lift well out of that tire rack,
you know, so like Jonas.

Speaker 2 (21:22):
Yeah, yeah, there it is. That's Jonas is dead lift.

Speaker 3 (21:26):
By the way, it is two pros and a cup.

Speaker 2 (21:29):
What is what is your dad lift?

Speaker 3 (21:31):
Sound like, Jonas, why pass out?

Speaker 8 (21:41):
You know?

Speaker 2 (21:42):
How many can you do doing that?

Speaker 3 (21:45):
Not a lot? Six eight? Maybe?

Speaker 4 (21:48):
Also sounds like you had too many like spicy tamallways
or something, you know, like just the next day just
super hot, yeah, super super spicy.

Speaker 3 (21:58):
Yeah it could be. Uh, I'll I will say this,
the in laws are kind of weak when it comes
to spice, Like I'm always adding more, adding more because
I like it really spicy. They're kind of you know,
they got like dessert Tamali's which not Yeah, I'm I'm
moy caliente. They called me the hobbignet a widow. That's
what they call for the I mean, I don't white guy,

(22:22):
so like basically the spicy white guy is what.

Speaker 2 (22:26):
I'm known it is, but the spicy vampire. And who
calls you that? Me?

Speaker 3 (22:33):
I gave myself that.

Speaker 7 (22:34):
Man.

Speaker 4 (22:36):
How many different nicknames do you have, Jonas? Do you
also have the Prince of Darkness? Which I have where
not even come from.

Speaker 3 (22:41):
Mike North gave me that. I did not give myself
that name. Brady calls me show prep Jesus. You never
called me that. I thought you called me that.

Speaker 4 (22:51):
No, I've actually called you live bet Jesus because you
know that character all of a sudden to come and
go when when you're there, you.

Speaker 2 (22:58):
Guys killed him bet Jesus.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
Yeah, I mean nobody else.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
I mean they have to say betting trends, which is weird.
Just losers, you.

Speaker 3 (23:07):
Know they actually do. But now that you point that
out a lot of losers lately, what else do you got?
I'm trying to think what other? Uh? LeVar Noxicid yeah, Noxicon,
trying to think LeVar jonads that for a while. Somebody
mentioned that earlier on social media.

Speaker 2 (23:27):
I think soft tans loch Boy, soft Boy? Would you
be considered pac Man? No? Well yeah, what about me?

Speaker 8 (23:37):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (23:38):
I mean if LeVar came around, Yeah for sure. If
anybody knows that movie.

Speaker 5 (23:44):
Does have to be LeVar, because I'm the big black
dude on the show that's messed up?

Speaker 2 (23:50):
Is that what it is? What couldn't you be?

Speaker 1 (23:53):
Why couldn't I be packed Man and you'd be the
one coming out of the room and she's talking about, Hey,
I love the homies.

Speaker 3 (23:59):
Hey, trust me, it can't be. It's possible. It does not.
There's man, Yeah, there'll be no reason for that.

Speaker 2 (24:08):
But he had to leave the room. He was disgusted.

Speaker 3 (24:12):
He was like, I'm just to follow that.

Speaker 2 (24:14):
Oh my gosh, I thought I was in love.

Speaker 3 (24:17):
Well, it is two pros and a cup of Joe here,
brought to you by Discoverer. Did you know, by the way,
Discover wants everyone to feel special. That's why with your
Discover Card you have access to twenty four to seven
customer service as well as zero dollar fraud liability, which
means you're never held responsible for unauthorized purchases lott more
at discover dot com. Slash credit card limitations apply. So

(24:38):
we do have our picks against the spread coming up
here in about we'll call it fifteen minutes from now.
But right now we are going to present something that
is also normally done on a Friday, We take a
closer look at college football with nobody better than the
one and only the face of Big Noon Kickoff, Brady
Quinn with another installment of Quinn's wins.

Speaker 4 (24:58):
Let's go all right, all right, I've got three games
for you this week. I'm gonna start off in what
used to be deemed the Civil War. I'm not even
sure if I'm want to say that anymore. But Oregon
State traveling to Eugene, Oregon. It's the number sixteen team
the country, the Beavers taking on the number six Oregon Ducks.
This line's sitting at thirteen and a half at least
the last time I looked at it.

Speaker 2 (25:19):
Who knows if there's been a new movement over under
set at sixty two.

Speaker 4 (25:22):
Look, Oregon State came off a tough, disappointing loss to
Washington last week at home.

Speaker 2 (25:28):
It was a tight one.

Speaker 4 (25:29):
I think you're gonna see Jonathan Smith, the phenomenal head
coach for the Beaver's, trying to implement a similar strategy
against Oregon, who is clicking on all cylinders. You're not
going to find a more balanced team maybe outside of
Georgia this season than Oregon. Their top ten in scoring
on defense, top sen and scoring on offense. Nicks very
Maywell could win the Heisman Trophy. He's going to set

(25:51):
an NCAA record for completion percentage. He's completing almost eighty
percent of his passes right now. He's got forty total
touchdowns this season. He's third in fbs and yards and passing.
So he's setting the world on fire right now the
way he's played. So give a lot of credit to
bo Nix and the Oregon Ducks. And look, Oregon State,

(26:13):
I think they've going to try to play this game
in a similar fashion of how they tried to play Washington.
Slowed the game down, utilize your running backs Martinez and Fenwick,
and try to not allow Djungla to be under pressure.
We saw last week a couple of a couple of interceptions.
That's usually when that comes about, but this is a
big number. I don't feel great about the line. I'll

(26:33):
lay the thirteen and a half points here because I
think Oregon knows in order for them to still find
a way into the College Football Playoff, not only do
they have to win out and win the Pac twelve Championship,
they have to win convincingly to convince the committee they
should go in over a potential undefeated Florida State ACC champ.
So I would lay the thirteen and a half points.

(26:55):
Style points matter here, and I also like the over
of sixty two. I think that's actually the best or play.
All right, Next up, let's go to the Iron Bowl.
I know Auburn's not ranked. That's outside of our normal
way of doing this. But they are playing at Jordan
Hare on the road. Alabama is a fourteen and a
half point favorite. Last time I looked. It's a big number.
But here's the thing. Auburn just got blown out by

(27:18):
New Mexico State last week and it simply comes down
to this.

Speaker 2 (27:22):
If you stop Darquez Hunter, the.

Speaker 4 (27:25):
Running back, the outstanding running back at Auburn, there's really
not much that Auburn can do offensive. They struggle to
score points. Look, they've played people close this year. They
took Georgia down to the wire where they died Brock
Bowers to make some late game heroics in order to win.

Speaker 2 (27:39):
But this Bama team is on a roll right now.

Speaker 4 (27:42):
Their defense statistically is right up there next to Georgia
and the SEC and the Jalen Milroe since the beginning
of the season has really turned things on. Thirty one
total touchdowns this season to only six interceptions, He's completing
sixty six percent of his passes. He's continually grown and
got better as offensive coordator Tommy Reese has continually built
this offense to potentially be an SEC champs.

Speaker 2 (28:04):
So lay the fourteen and a half points.

Speaker 4 (28:06):
I know it's a big number, but again, this Alabama
team is much better than what we saw early in
the season, and it feels like Auburn's trending in the
other direction.

Speaker 2 (28:16):
And speaking of trends, the final.

Speaker 4 (28:18):
One, the big one the game Ohio State at Michigan,
number two versus number three up in ann Arbor, Michigan, Michigan.

Speaker 2 (28:26):
Last time I looked, they're.

Speaker 4 (28:26):
Given three and a half points at home the over
runners said at forty six points. This one feels like
the two teams are trending in different directions. Michigan's played
some tight games over the past couple of weeks, and
if you look at their team, they're pretty banged up
right now. Jaj McCarthy's doing with an ankle injury that
he suffered versus Penn State. The left tackle Ladarius Henderson
missed last week, Miles hitting his backup he played for him.

(28:49):
He went out of the game injured. So the offensive
line has struggled to protect and run block quite the
same as what we've seen in years past. And their
top wide receiver from Michigan, Robin Wilson, he left with
a show injury last week.

Speaker 2 (29:01):
He's the best player.

Speaker 4 (29:02):
They've got to create big plays and separation in the
passing game, and McCarthy has not looked the same throwing
the football over the past couple of weeks. So a
lot of concerns there on the side of Michigan with
their health and where they're at, whereas Ohio State is
continually built, moving built upwards with the way they're running
the football. Treyvon Henderson of the last four games averaging
one hundred twenty five yards per game, which will put

(29:24):
him third in the country right now in five tds
in that span.

Speaker 2 (29:27):
He's a legitimate home run hitter, and.

Speaker 4 (29:29):
He protects the guy that LeVar talked about, Marvin Harrison Junior.
When you have a running back who could do what
he has done the last four games, you can't put
as much attention on Marvin Harrison Junior, not to mention
Katee Stover, a Mecca Abuka, all the other weapons that
they have. It really comes down to Ohio State on
offense of whether or not Kyle McCord can distribute the
football and not put the football in harm's way, which

(29:52):
is a big question mark, especially on the road. The
X factor for me is the Ohio State defense under
defense cornator Jim, they've been phenomenal since he's gotten there.
They've continually improved. Here's a stat for you, and this,
honestly could be the difference. This game the last two
years has come down to big plays and Ohio State
struggled last year. They give them eighteen plays of over

(30:13):
forty yards so far this year, only one giving up
the entire season. So Jim knowles that defense is done
an incredible job. I like Ohio State, and you take
the three and a half points on the road in
Ann Arbor to cover the number and don't be surprised
if they don't outright win. It just feels like right now,

(30:34):
Michigan's banged up and they're trying to limp into this one,
and this Ohio State team has been built up now
to beat and counteract what we've seen from Michigan the
past couple of years.

Speaker 3 (30:44):
That's what I'm talking about right there.

Speaker 2 (30:46):
I think you're right. I think you're right. I thank
you for o State weekend. I hate to say it.

Speaker 4 (30:52):
Want me to give you my favorite bet of the
week though, Yeah, well yes, it's the under of South
Carolina and Clemson. All right, I know I don't like
betting unders normally, but Clemson's the number one total defense
the a season, only given about twenty one points a game.
Right now at South Carolina's really struggled to Cox. Jonas'
is Cox have really struggled to be able to score points.
Their average about twenty eight and they've scored over twenty

(31:15):
points like five times this season, but three of those
times where versus Firman, Jacksonville State, and Vandy, who's got
the worst defense in the SEC.

Speaker 2 (31:22):
So it's a bit of a skewed number.

Speaker 4 (31:23):
But the under of South Carolina and Clemson, which again
Clemson jumped right back up in the top twenty five
rankings in the playoff rankings, and that over unders said
at fifty two. So that's my favorite bed of the week,
and I think that's one that's easily.

Speaker 2 (31:40):
Going to hit.

Speaker 3 (31:40):
The Cox are trying to get Bowl eligible, you know,
trying to get to that six win mark.

Speaker 4 (31:45):
So yeah, good luck Clemson and Dabosweeney feel like they
still got something to prove with the way they've been
talked about treated this season and they really have continued.

Speaker 2 (31:53):
To come around.

Speaker 3 (31:54):
You don't think there's going to be a any Cox
in the Bowl.

Speaker 2 (31:57):
No Cox in the Bowl this year?

Speaker 3 (31:58):
What about Jacksonville State? They'll get Aren't they the game
Cocks too? I think they are. I think yeah. I
think there was game Cock on game Cock a couple
of weeks ago. South Carolina and Jacksonville State. I think
they played each other. I'm not mistaken.

Speaker 2 (32:11):
I believe you're right. They are at the game Cocks. Yeah,
two game Cocks.

Speaker 3 (32:16):
Yeah, you can't. I mean, if you know, if you
want to, if if you're into that, yeah, if you
want to schedule it for sure.

Speaker 2 (32:23):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (32:24):
So there it is another edition of Quinn's wins here
on Fox.

Speaker 2 (32:28):
The landing, that thing or that or what did we did?
We roll out?

Speaker 4 (32:33):
That?

Speaker 2 (32:33):
We did we fall down? Did we break an an
cool light? No?

Speaker 3 (32:36):
Stuck it?

Speaker 2 (32:37):
Stuck it?

Speaker 3 (32:38):
Yeah, all right, like Alicia Sacramoni back in the day.

Speaker 2 (32:41):
It's a great job. I'm sorry that Jonas ruined.

Speaker 3 (32:45):
It right off that balance beam stick. The landing.

Speaker 2 (32:48):
Yeah, he really wanted to get the South Carolina. He
really did.

Speaker 5 (32:53):
We're talking about the rest of it was really good though,
you know, until Vampire Boy jumped in.

Speaker 3 (32:59):
All right, well this.

Speaker 2 (33:01):
Boy also left out. You have been confused with some
of the actress that played the villain and Superman.

Speaker 3 (33:08):
Now that's a lie perpetuated by David Anderson, you and him.
What I want to tell everybody. I don't even know
the name of those guys on Superman. What are they get?

Speaker 2 (33:18):
General? There you go, lavarn knows.

Speaker 3 (33:20):
Please you think you're telling me?

Speaker 2 (33:22):
You and by the way, you also could be one
of the lead characters in Hunger Games.

Speaker 3 (33:26):
We've gone over this first of all.

Speaker 2 (33:28):
That's actually my my picture of my phone?

Speaker 1 (33:31):
Is it really who who's gene Lex lou Luthor?

Speaker 2 (33:36):
Let's Lex Luthor?

Speaker 3 (33:37):
Yeah, well, who knows, we'll figure it out.

Speaker 4 (33:40):
During the break, the guy from what's that show? Everyone was, uh,
everyone's talking about watching like everyone wanted to.

Speaker 2 (33:47):
Go buy land in Wyoming. Why can't I think of
the name of it?

Speaker 3 (33:50):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (33:50):
Yellowstone? Oh yeah, Yellowstone.

Speaker 4 (33:53):
Yeah, that's that actor, remember the one brother who's like
the attorney.

Speaker 3 (33:56):
Yeah, well coming up next here. This is normally done
on a Friday, but since it's getaway day for us
here on the show, it is time to spread them

of weeks. We will explain why that is coming up

How'd we do last week? Very interesting week? Last week?
You guys, let's just go all down.

Speaker 9 (34:58):
We had the Panthers ten and have favorites at Carolina
and Brady was the only one brave enough to lay
the points on Dallas, who of course won that game
thirty three to ten. We had Steelers at Browns, where
everybody at first took Pittsburgh even though the Browns were
point and a half favorites. But but what Brady changed it.

(35:18):
He went Homer and went Cleveland in that game. Who
of course Cleveland upset winning that game.

Speaker 2 (35:22):
Thing.

Speaker 3 (35:23):
Yeah, but I was on the right side.

Speaker 2 (35:24):
Of that bet.

Speaker 3 (35:24):
No, we're not.

Speaker 2 (35:25):
That's true. That's true. That's what people would say.

Speaker 3 (35:27):
Yeah, you're on the right side of that bed. I
see what you mean.

Speaker 9 (35:31):
Raiders at Dolphins, everybody took Miami as a thirteen point
favorite in this one lost. Of course they did lose
that game. Well, they won that game by seven points.
Everybody here lost by taking Miami. We had Bucks at
Niners where LeVar was the only one who laid the
twelve points for the Niners. Niners, of course won that
game twenty seven to fourteen. So you just got that one.

(35:56):
And then lastly Vikings at Broncos. Broncos were two point
favorites at home, they only won by one point. Brady
took Minnesota in that one. Denver could not cover. So
Brady had a great week three and two, LeVar one
and four, and live bet loser. I mean, Jonas went
and five. Why don't you lose this?

Speaker 3 (36:15):
I got you wow shots Closing the gap was Brady
in this one.

Speaker 9 (36:24):
Brady, of course you won the week, but LeVar, you
still hold the lead, only a three point lead.

Speaker 3 (36:28):
Now you had a five point lead as of last week.
Now down to three. Let's go all right.

Speaker 9 (36:35):
This week is a special Thanksgiving edition Holiday edition of
Picks Against the Spread. We start with the Packers at Lions.
Lions try to sweep the lines the Packers. There are
seven a half point favorites at home.

Speaker 2 (36:47):
Packers and take the points.

Speaker 3 (36:51):
I'll take Detroit. They were pretty bad last week.

Speaker 2 (36:54):
For we don't have to explations.

Speaker 3 (36:55):
Yeah, yeah, I'm going to take Detroit.

Speaker 9 (36:57):
Here he asked Cowboys. Commanders at Cowboys. Cowboys undefeated at home,
are eleven point favorites.

Speaker 2 (37:05):
Dallas shot, what are you Dallas as well? Nope, take
the Commanders. Oh look at that home team.

Speaker 9 (37:12):
Pick guys and Niners at Seahawks battle for first place
in the NFC West. Niners are seven point favorites on
the road.

Speaker 3 (37:19):
I'll take Seattle. Put a lot of points.

Speaker 2 (37:22):
Mano Smith's banged up. I'm gonna go I'm gonna go
with the Niners. Yeah, I'm going with the Niners.

Speaker 9 (37:31):
Dolphins at Jets on Black Friday Game. Dolphins ten point
favorites at the Jets.

Speaker 2 (37:36):
Lay the points.

Speaker 3 (37:39):
Yeah, I'll go at the Dolphins.

Speaker 2 (37:41):
I'm taking the Dolphins.

Speaker 9 (37:42):
Lastly, Ravens at Chargers Sunday Night Football. Ravens three and
a half point favorites at the Chargers.

Speaker 3 (37:49):
Take the bolts there it is there. See that was
easy just the time.

Speaker 1 (37:54):
Yeah,
