Speaker 1 (00:01):
This is the best of two pros and a couple
Joe with Lamar Are Winn and Jonas Knox on Box Radio.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Well, happy Monday. How the hell we feel in air?

Speaker 3 (00:16):
Who slender? It was a blender, a long week.

Speaker 4 (00:22):
All I'll say is in terms of just getting back,
it is such a task, a chore to get back.
Like in traveling, it's it's it's amazing to me how
unbelievably hard it is to travel anymore.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
That's all I'll say. I'm literally working on like an
hour of sleep.

Speaker 4 (00:48):
So and just because of like delays and cancelations and
all we time that we were we were on the plane,
we were heading towards our runway, we had to stop.
We were there for about an hour or two because
we timed out.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
And it's it's it's uh, it makes it.

Speaker 4 (01:10):
Hard for you to actually feel good about doing things
that involve you flying.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
I just know this is crazy, you know what? And
I agree. I travel a lot.

Speaker 5 (01:21):
We went with the whole family up up to Columbus
because if we were calling to Ohio State spring game.
And what always really blows my mind is, uh, the
difficulty sometimes going through TSAH.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
And I'm not here to be little or take shots
at anyone.

Speaker 5 (01:41):
But I'll just say this, when you have a family
of four with like a crying one year old baby
and all that, and you're just trying to go through security,
we're not the guy, all right, Like, we're not the guy.
I'm pretty sure, trusts me. Like we're not the ones
you need to be really worried about. Okay, Like I

(02:02):
don't know what little like security check things that go
off for a little bells, whistles, We're not that guy,
all right, Just just give us, give us, give us
a little bit of the benefit of the doubt that
anyone I think that's in that position is probably not
going through, you know, with the family of four and

(02:22):
with a crying baby and everything else.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
Like, I'm not sure that is y'are not on a
final destination the path of deruction. Yeah, it's safe to say,
y'all not final destination.

Speaker 6 (02:34):
Okay, So you're not the one to profile.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
And look again, I'm not going to get it down
that subject.

Speaker 5 (02:40):
I'm just saying pretty sure, throughout the history of flying,
there's never been a family of six, right with four
kids where they're like, yeah, that guy just came in
and he was really trying to pull it over on us,
Like no, I am trying to get all my stuff
out of the security line for our baby and for
our three little kids who are just trying to make

(03:00):
their way through and it is chaos.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
Yet they're like, oh, sir, we need to wipe your hands.

Speaker 5 (03:06):
I'm like, yeah, you'll probably get some formula on there.
There might be like a little bit of remnants of
whatever snack I just gave one of our kids own
man time. Yeah, I wish, damn, I wish. I just
every single time I go through TSA, I'm like, man,

(03:28):
you are trying too hard, like with us, like we're good.

Speaker 7 (03:32):
Just let us get through here so we can help
you guys out. You'll say, you're not Diddy's mule. That
is not formula.

Speaker 8 (03:46):
That is something else you can't sniff formula, that's a
pixie dust.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Well listen, I mean, you know a lot of traveling
out there, and you guys were away, but per usual,
Scottie Scheffler gets it done per usual, and uh and
LeVar one last day that we can just live vicariously
through the all time greats who have donned the course

(04:17):
atal I don't even know where Tiger finished, I'll be.

Speaker 6 (04:23):
Honest with.

Speaker 5 (04:25):
Unfortunately, I do he was Actually he did make the cut,
which was I mean, it's pretty impressive because you could
sell just watching him walk.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
It's hard man Ian.

Speaker 5 (04:35):
He is battling through a lot of physical issues and
he still.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
Made the cut.

Speaker 5 (04:40):
But he did finish dead last for those that made
the cuts. You know, they showed him with his son
on the range and his son was doing something with
them on the range, kind of like a drill.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
And I've also thought to myself, like.

Speaker 5 (04:59):
That is what this is a about more than maybe
anything else right now, Like when I had the opportunity
to speak with him, most of what we talked about
was just being a dad and the impact like you
have on your kids and all that. And like when
I think about where he was in his career, because
Scotti Schefters is there now, like he is the most
dominant golfer in the world he has been for a while.

(05:20):
Tiger was once there where he just dominated in a major.
He dominated and won tournaments when he wanted to or
when he wanted to turn it on when everyone else
was failing. He found a way to succeed. And I
wonder if he's like still pushing through everything he's going
through because his son probably sees how much it takes
him just to get out there on the course and

(05:41):
still play.

Speaker 3 (05:43):
And it's more of an example more than anything else,
right now.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
Yeah, I mean that's possible, although I would say probably
not the nice though. I would just probably not the
best example to finish dead last after you make the cut.
I think that's a poor example to set.

Speaker 3 (05:58):
I don't think he was trying to. I think that's
a great example.

Speaker 5 (06:01):
I actually do Jonas, you would know something about that
because you never would have bet, so he probably.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
Okay, let me go ahead and just make something very
clear here. I had every intention of betting on Scotty Scheffler,
and Brady Quinn talked to me about Oh.

Speaker 3 (06:18):
No, that's the biggest lie.

Speaker 6 (06:23):
Quinn did me dirty.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
This is a man who golfed recently at Augusta National,
had inside information everything told me Scotty Scheffler, that's the pick.
Scotty Scheffler. And he pulls me aside and says, bet Max.

Speaker 6 (06:38):
Holmer, Okay, sure thing, you got it.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
You were just there and guess what happened, bet Max Holma,
and he crapped down his leg on twelve yesterday.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
Why do you lie because it's better.

Speaker 6 (06:50):
It's better than living through the truth.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
That's why the truth is.

Speaker 5 (06:54):
Jonah saw plus odds for Max Alma and that's where
he went. And mind you, you could have gotten Scotty
Scheffler of minus one thirty when he.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
Was in the lead. Like it wasn't it was in
the lead. It was still like decent odds for.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
I mean, you could have gotten a bit like, you know,
plus four hundred before the tournament.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
You know that A gambling on me, all right, I
would never give you that advice.

Speaker 6 (07:17):
I mean, I gotta blame somebody.

Speaker 5 (07:19):
So when you text me that, I was like, I
don't even remember like saying Max. I love maxwellman. That
guy is an awesome dude. But Cheffer's playing out of
his mind right now. Did we have anybody pull it
out of the hat. That's a good question.

Speaker 6 (07:32):
I don't believe so.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
Scotti Schufler was one of the names in the hat
and nobody, nobody pulled that one.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
How the rest of us do? How did my Brooks
linebacker kept go do?

Speaker 2 (07:43):
I don't know what did he even make the cut?

Speaker 6 (07:45):
He did?

Speaker 9 (07:46):
I think he finished plus eight oh uh, Lorena had
the best finish with d.

Speaker 3 (07:53):
Yes she did? What did I have? Great job, great job, Lorena.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
Thank you, Brady, Yeah, Brady A General Florida.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
Thank you, thank you. You know it was a golf class.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
Yeah, way to wait. Wait to have the same tone
as the music when you popped on Lareda. That's perfect.
It's a professional.

Speaker 3 (08:11):
Yeah. Uh yeah, we're definitely one.

Speaker 6 (08:15):
Do we have the U.

Speaker 5 (08:20):
All our picks for the Masters Saturday's round? It was
done it.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
Do we have the the results leave of everybody and
where they finished?

Speaker 6 (08:31):
Yes, we do. Ry McElroy, I mean I don't even
know why he should.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
I hope you have him.

Speaker 5 (08:37):
I mean you've had three days to prepare for the show,
which we will get on by the way point today show.

Speaker 9 (08:43):
Yeah, I had them ready and then I don't know,
the gremlins in the system decided not to let me.

Speaker 6 (08:49):
Uh, let me tell you something.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
How about a piece of paper, you.

Speaker 10 (08:54):
Know, how about glins the paper and pen grimlins so much?

Speaker 9 (09:07):
Well, Xanders, as we know, as we noted Lorena, one
was Xander, Xander finishing one under. That was the best
finish we had. Then we had Tiger Woods of course,
last place as we talked about I had discussed he
was the last cut.

Speaker 6 (09:20):
That was me good jubblee.

Speaker 9 (09:22):
We had a tie between I believe it was Brooks
Kopka and Rory McElroy. Yeah that minus eight or excuse me,
plus eight, and then that was me and bar right
correct the bar up top.

Speaker 3 (09:35):
Bar Yep, yep, yep.

Speaker 9 (09:41):
Decki Masama was in the middle of the pack. That
was Eddie at plus seven.

Speaker 6 (09:45):
Okay, so we all kind of sucked.

Speaker 3 (09:48):
Basically, you didn't say Brady, did you.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
Brady was?

Speaker 9 (09:51):
Brady was wrong and he was I believe he was
also plus nine.

Speaker 3 (09:56):
Oh docular great? Yeah, docum golfers, Uh not good.

Speaker 6 (10:02):
Let me let me tell you what is great?

Speaker 3 (10:04):
You guys, it's over. Oh bad.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
You guys would be mesmerized if you saw the shirt
that lead the lap was wearing right now. It is
I mean, it looks like it looks like an entire
pack of chewed fruit stripe gum on a shirt and
he's rocking it and it's Jimmy Buffett tribute and like
it's got tied die on it. I mean, Jimmy Buffett

(10:29):
looks hammered in the picture.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
Saw the video I sent you have Todd.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
You played limbo by himself, I mean.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
Limbo on his own. Tang.

Speaker 4 (10:41):
That's crazy. That what the body can do? You know, Dang,
y'all go really hard?

Speaker 3 (10:47):
Lee.

Speaker 6 (10:48):
Oh, we survived, just barely. I had to.

Speaker 9 (10:51):
I had to drag a drag Todd through Hollywood in
order to get him back home.

Speaker 6 (10:55):
But we did it.

Speaker 4 (10:56):
What where exactly did you guys put the boom box
once you went to listen to the to the.

Speaker 9 (11:02):
Show above Todd's head, it was, oh, you mean as
the show started in his goodie bag he had, He
has a goodie bag.

Speaker 3 (11:10):
Basket, You had a picnic basket.

Speaker 6 (11:13):
You got my picnic basket. Always go in, Always go
to the bowl with.

Speaker 3 (11:16):
A picnic basket. Was it the like old school one?

Speaker 6 (11:20):
No, it's leather. It's actually pretty cool. It's so you
can put it.

Speaker 9 (11:23):
It's got a whole wine set up, a whole nine.

Speaker 6 (11:27):
So what are you picnicking with? Booze? So here's the thing.

Speaker 9 (11:31):
Is you gotta is what I was explaining to everybody,
is you got to have a sacrifice beer at the
top of your picnic basket because they're gonna go digging
through it, right, They're gonna be wanting to find everything,
So you gotta have sacrifice beers at the top so
that way they don't.

Speaker 6 (11:44):
Get to the feet. Y'all want to drink. Gotta have
a fall, guy.

Speaker 3 (11:48):
You gotta have a so hold on, explain this again.
You you create a picnic basket, yes, with beer.

Speaker 9 (11:56):
Yes, you know there's gonna but they'll let's just let's
just slam it right there at security, which I did.

Speaker 2 (12:02):
And you're like, oh man, you're gonna take my only beer?

Speaker 6 (12:04):
Oh well, you got.

Speaker 2 (12:06):
Two bottles of Jack Daniels.

Speaker 3 (12:08):
Yeah. So after they find.

Speaker 9 (12:13):
Yeah, you basically they stop looking. I also put like
a can of you know, Seltzer there, which is my mix.

Speaker 6 (12:19):
But they find that, they're like, yeah.

Speaker 9 (12:21):
No, outside stuff you lied to when you say I
just bought it right there at the hot dog stand, Like, eh, no,
no go. But after they find two or three things,
they're gonna stop looking. So you keep the good stuff
at the bottom.

Speaker 5 (12:32):
Crazy sacrifice beer, that is crazy.

Speaker 6 (12:38):
And you pack up. You pack up a nice lunch.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
That's the same question.

Speaker 4 (12:40):
More disturbing is how do you How did you know
that that's what you needed to do and that it
would work.

Speaker 3 (12:46):
That's that's more curious to me.

Speaker 5 (12:50):
What was the first time you you like, like we
need sacrifice beer.

Speaker 9 (12:55):
Yeah, uh, long long time ago, long time ago, learned
that early.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
And you know, the sad part is of the entire conversation.
We had this segment. That's the one that's gonna resonate
most with people, that detail, because there's gonna be somebody
who's going to a concert that's like, that's a great idea,
or somebody had to throw away a bunch of beer
this weekend. It's like, man, that's a hell of an idea.
I wish I would have thought of that. Lee just
made so many people's day by revealing he has a

(13:24):
sacrifice beer in a leather picnic basket on his way
to the Hollywood Bowl with Todd.

Speaker 5 (13:31):
We're still trying to figure out was this Friday for
the Jimmy Buffett tribute thing?

Speaker 9 (13:35):
It was Thursday night. It was late Thursday night. Yeah,
ended at eleven o'clock. It was solid four hours, started
right at seven, went all the way through, ended with
Paul McCartney singing Let It Be and then a little Margeritaville.

Speaker 3 (13:48):
You gotta explain to me where pit Bull fitted there.

Speaker 6 (13:51):
Pit Bull was amazing, was awesome.

Speaker 9 (13:54):
Once pit Bull was hen Snoop of course Snoop was
there with him. But Jimmy maybe, yeah, of course.

Speaker 3 (14:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (14:01):
Well he's a big everyone knows Snoops a big parrothead. Okay,
there's a great there's a great movie called beach Ball.

Speaker 5 (14:08):
Still not explaining where pit Bull ties in outside of
his ties to South Florida.

Speaker 9 (14:12):
We'll keep the party going. He's let's start the party
baby with pit Bull. He started and the concerts called
keep the Party Going. They're both Miami guys. And he
actually has a song called thank God. And Jimmy Buffett,
which was amazing. I'd rather see an actual bon Jovis.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
I'd rather see an actual pit Bull performed Jimmy Buffett
than this pit Bull at the Hollywood Bowl in front
of Lean Todd, Come on lead.

Speaker 3 (14:35):
That was a pity laugh of Lorena.

Speaker 6 (14:36):
By the way, guys, it was. It was an amazing
spiritual experience. Have we had You're looking for some sports, guys?

Speaker 3 (14:47):
We had.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
So with that many like big name acts. How much
were the tickets?

Speaker 3 (14:53):
Uh?

Speaker 6 (14:54):
North of four hundred?

Speaker 9 (14:55):
Yeah, but pat Riley was there, John McEnroe was there.

Speaker 6 (14:59):
My giving given eulogies.

Speaker 9 (15:02):
Pat Riley was talking about the time that Jimmy got
kicked out of a heat game for calling.

Speaker 6 (15:05):
The ref ap parrot. Heead, Oh my god, John m No,
it's not. It's a very big compliment.

Speaker 9 (15:17):
Mcinroe was talking about smoking a jay with with Jimmy
at the Vatican. Oh oh no, and at center court
at Wimbledon.

Speaker 5 (15:26):
Yeah, it's a little different than the Vatican.

Speaker 6 (15:30):
Yeah, that was that was what.

Speaker 9 (15:34):
He Harrelson, who was at the Vatican smoking Oh wow.
Harrison Ford. Harrison Ford was awesome.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
Harrison Ford was there.

Speaker 6 (15:40):
Harrison Ford was a great eulogy. Did he fly there
or is that still not working out? But they did
talk about who was it.

Speaker 9 (15:49):
They were talking about Jimmy getting his pilot's license and
how he had crashed a few times, just like like Harrison.

Speaker 3 (15:57):
Oh wow. How many eulogies were there?

Speaker 6 (16:01):
Countless at least a dozen.

Speaker 3 (16:05):
He wouldn't that be like weaving in and out of
just feeling depressed about.

Speaker 2 (16:08):
The upper down or upper Oh man, what a good time?

Speaker 6 (16:18):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (16:18):
Did you get emotional at one point?

Speaker 11 (16:20):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (16:20):
I cried a couple of times, for sure, Oh my.

Speaker 3 (16:22):
God, God, like loud or was it just tears.

Speaker 6 (16:26):
Just tears. You know, Paul McCarty was breaking and breaking down.
I let it be at the end yea because he
couldn't believe he was there.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
It's like.

Speaker 5 (16:40):
They probably knew each other, you know, he like impacted
his life.

Speaker 2 (16:43):
And I just want to know first drink to last drink.
How long were we talking about that? You were bending
the elbow on Thursday?

Speaker 9 (16:57):
From Thursday at five p m. Until Saturday at midnight.

Speaker 2 (17:02):
Okay, just an hour or two, No big deal.

Speaker 9 (17:05):
Yesterday was a bit of rough. Yeah, Sunday was the
uh was the recovery day?

Speaker 3 (17:10):
Wow? What did you do for your recovery?

Speaker 6 (17:12):
Just curious, watch watch the watch the Masters.

Speaker 3 (17:17):
That was it? Like nothing else, like you go for
a walk or I.

Speaker 2 (17:19):
Don't know self gang stands.

Speaker 3 (17:21):
No big deal.

Speaker 6 (17:22):
Yeah, I definitely needed fresh air, all right?

Speaker 12 (17:25):
Well, the fresh air fut stories one of the fall
talking rates amazingly.

Speaker 2 (17:36):
We were wondering and U it was even greater than
we expected.

Speaker 9 (17:39):
The stories from the tip of the iceberg.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
Nobody better, there's nobody better.

Speaker 13 (17:47):

Am five to seventy LA Sports, a Fox College football
analyst and a man who has fired up because he's
got Lakers fever, Lebron and ad get it done, and
they've got the Denver Nuggets in a round.

Speaker 6 (18:49):
King Yeah, come on, Pee, Good morning, Petros.

Speaker 11 (18:53):
Good morning, everybody, Good morning.

Speaker 2 (18:55):
Fired up Pee O not really.

Speaker 11 (19:00):
Doing I'm fired up for another one of the most
competitive sweeps of all time.

Speaker 3 (19:04):
Right, don't you don't think they can go on a run.

Speaker 11 (19:07):
Here, isn't what that guy Windhors said last year after
they got swept by the Nuggets. Well, this was one
of the most competitive sweeps I've ever seen. Competitive sweep oxymoron.

Speaker 3 (19:20):
Damn it.

Speaker 11 (19:21):
I just spilled my coffee, Son of a bitch.

Speaker 3 (19:25):
Is it hot or ice coffee? What kind of coffee
were drinking?

Speaker 6 (19:28):
Spilled coffee? Now?

Speaker 11 (19:29):
Yeah, it's on the floor now, Brady.

Speaker 6 (19:31):
Floor coffee?

Speaker 3 (19:32):
Yeah? Was it?

Speaker 6 (19:34):
Was it instant or was it?

Speaker 3 (19:35):
Did you?

Speaker 6 (19:35):
Did you press it?

Speaker 11 (19:36):
It was your line of questioning that made me spill it.

Speaker 3 (19:39):
Yeah, all right.

Speaker 11 (19:41):
Look, I'm not that into the Lakers versus the Nuggets.
If they win a couple of games, then okay, and
we'll talk. And I don't know, I might have to
if the King goes on a playoff run crowning himself
and telling all kinds of fallacies and reading the first
two pages of a book, I I think I might

(20:01):
have to go on vacation.

Speaker 6 (20:04):
You're not going to give them as props if he wins?

Speaker 11 (20:06):
Yeah, come on, Petros, Sure, I'll let somebody else do it.
Oh okay, what do people give lebron a his problem?

Speaker 3 (20:14):
He's great?

Speaker 6 (20:15):
That is very true.

Speaker 11 (20:16):
What a wonderful person. I'm so glad he's in southern California,
moving his children from private school to private school and
trying to control our aau world.

Speaker 6 (20:25):
I mean, that's the American dream, it sure is.

Speaker 11 (20:27):
I'm happy he's here renting the Lakers, renting them, leasing
the Lakers, finding a team that's one of the most
iconic brands in the history of sport, and bullying their
weak ownership into acquiescence to all of his needs. Now,
let's say they do get beat by the Nuggets, which
is what's supposed to happen. That's what happened last year.

(20:50):
It's what's happened perennially. Lebron is they had their one
championship in the bubble, but everything else like they've They've
not even been competitive in the PAS Division. They were
last in the Pacific Division this year last And it
was a little weird last night, right to see like
the two kings of the NBA, the two guys that

(21:11):
have made the NBA what it is right now, if
you like it or not, Steph Curry and Lebron playing
in the play in and all of the great players
and stuff are like young dudes. All the teams that
are really good. Are young guys just waiting for these
old heads to get beat up and try to make
it there? That's kind of odd, felt the little backwards.

(21:32):
But whatever. Yes, NBA talk, the Lakers have won, and man,
they're going to take on those Nuggets and there might
be a competitive sweep.

Speaker 3 (21:41):
I can't wait to hear.

Speaker 11 (21:42):
What's that skinny nose guy on TV that that's like
a Lebron propaganda arm?

Speaker 6 (21:47):
Oh right, yeah, what him?

Speaker 11 (21:51):
And you know the fat guy in Ohio? How did
you describe the good a propaganda arm? No, no skinny
nose skin you know he's Oh damn, I'm sorry, Damn.

(22:11):
I'm not on one of those like hot opinion shows.
You know my opinion is not hot enough?

Speaker 2 (22:16):
Ah, Petro, I am wondering though, if you had, if
you had to predict, Am.

Speaker 11 (22:22):
I not allowed to say that about that? Guys?

Speaker 3 (22:24):
Something wrong?

Speaker 11 (22:27):
That's your boy, Brady?

Speaker 3 (22:29):
I just I never know where you're gonna go. It's
my favorite part of Can we? Can we do this?
Because I want as much time with you as possible?
Can we? I don't want to do the BEQ News.
Can we just have.

Speaker 11 (22:38):
Petros on for the next segment due I have to
do the actual news. Yeah, I have to do I
for I've been I want extra money in the UFL.
They won't hire me the Fox to do the UFLF.

Speaker 6 (22:51):
It's hilarious, So I need money money.

Speaker 11 (22:54):
So I do the news in the morning. I fill
in on a bill handles show.

Speaker 3 (23:01):
Time.

Speaker 11 (23:02):
I'll go today, probably from six to as long as
they want to keep me. Okay, but from at least
the seventh thirds you be with us, at least for
a last with us. Got to study my news stories. Look,
I have a whistleblower urges Boeing to ground all seven
eight seven Dreamliners after safety warning.

Speaker 3 (23:19):
I saw.

Speaker 6 (23:21):
Flying.

Speaker 3 (23:22):
What's your opinion on that? Seven jurors seated.

Speaker 11 (23:25):
We're onto the next story, third story, half of Irani
and missiles launched in Israel, where duds House delivers impeachment
articles against may Orcist.

Speaker 3 (23:33):
I got to figure out who that is.

Speaker 2 (23:34):
Wait, petro Lea to lap as another potential candidate for
your news story that you've got to do with handle
coming up else?

Speaker 6 (23:43):
Oh yeah, the Disneyland expansion. I'm sure you're hot on that.

Speaker 11 (23:47):
Yes, we do have that. They want to they want
to expand. Well, that is an interesting thing, right because
Disneyland is in a city. Well yeah, it's been developed
all the way around, right, you got the magic cast
all over there and all kinds of crap that it's
more even more depressing than Disneyland.

Speaker 3 (24:03):
Yep.

Speaker 11 (24:04):
And Disneyland is depressing.

Speaker 3 (24:06):
Yep.

Speaker 11 (24:07):
Don't don't be mistaken. Whenever there's a sign that says
the happiest place on Earth, beware my ass. Yeah, honestly, beware.
Go with your kids there, Tell me your parents there.

Speaker 8 (24:17):
Are It's disney World. It's like Disneyland is like the
cheap knockoff of.

Speaker 11 (24:21):
Disney No, because Disneyland was first, and Disneyland is where
Walt Disney built his kingdom, and whin Disneyland was his vision?
All right with you East Coast weirdos, I'm just telling you,
Disneyland is the true version, ye knockoff version? How can
it be a knockoff version of it was first?

Speaker 6 (24:38):
I get that. I get where you're coming.

Speaker 3 (24:41):
Score Docks.

Speaker 15 (24:42):
The initial playoff will highest, they say, just stopped Moregan
and the pack trove looks soft.

Speaker 3 (24:47):
Is that we're.

Speaker 11 (24:48):
Going to do with the college football playoffs? And don't
try to.

Speaker 15 (24:51):
Do twenty fourteen Petro's Papa against the avocado rubined Fox Sports.

Speaker 3 (24:55):
Oh he couldn't take it.

Speaker 15 (24:56):
He couldn't take it the pack trop because the pack
troves going to look soft, look look soft, And they.

Speaker 11 (25:01):
Did, and was I wrong. I drove it from the
desert to watch that.

Speaker 3 (25:09):
It ran through everyone I came. Is terrible.

Speaker 11 (25:12):
But uh no, you're trying to say that Disneyland is
like Gobots and Disney World is like Transformer. Yes, is like, look,
we'll do this so much better.

Speaker 8 (25:24):
Yeah, I mean yeah, well because they have land, they
have land, yeah, and they've done very well with it.

Speaker 11 (25:29):
But I will say this, I mean I hate Disneyland.
I hate it. I never liked it. I hate everything
you know that I do like knots very farm Disneyland.

Speaker 3 (25:39):
Uh I went.

Speaker 11 (25:40):
I took my kids for one of their birthdays, and
you know they did they built a droid or whatever
in the Droid building factory. We have to make an appointment,
and we went to the Star Wars place and that
thing is damn cool. Like they did a really great
job with that. I you know, I mean wherevery you know,
the kids yell at like the Imperial Guards and they

(26:02):
look over and like settled down.

Speaker 3 (26:05):
Right.

Speaker 11 (26:06):
They do a really good job so that, you know,
I hate to be rarely positive, but I will say
that that that part of they did it really cool.

Speaker 2 (26:12):
Yeah. And then you see some guy in his forties
walking around that Chewbacca back.

Speaker 11 (26:16):
Oh, I can't take it. Come on. And then they
have these clubs We've talked about the clubs, you know,
like uh Geppetto's Raiders, you know, and they all wear
like they have like social clubs, and these dorks that
wear like vests like they're in a biker gang and
they walk around Disneyland in that way. We made up
one of our own, but we have never had the
vest made. We're the real boys.

Speaker 6 (26:39):
That's what it's called.

Speaker 11 (26:40):
We're the real boys.

Speaker 6 (26:42):
You know.

Speaker 8 (26:42):
Some people might take that the wrong way. Take it
that way you want to.

Speaker 11 (26:49):
Get in your bag.

Speaker 8 (26:52):
Stand on business, Yeah, I stand on the real boys,
real boys.

Speaker 11 (26:58):
Running main street pitch. Don't set trip around the corn
dog stand.

Speaker 6 (27:09):
Petros. I have to ask you.

Speaker 2 (27:11):
Let's just say this does turn into a competitive sweep
and Lebron and the Lakers are down three zip.

Speaker 11 (27:19):
Oh, Vick will predict the sweep four games in a row.

Speaker 2 (27:23):
Well, I'm also wondering like, how far into the sweep
does Lebron James develop a mysterious limb? Oh, you're right,
Like when does that happen? Is like down two oh,
down three to oh?

Speaker 3 (27:36):
He says, groin injuries over the years, Right, is that
the biggest issue? Right?

Speaker 11 (27:39):
What was the issue when he was in like that
the suit with the shorts and picked up his briefcase
and walked away.

Speaker 2 (27:46):
Well, his hand like yeah, yeah he had his hand
in a Yeah it was his hand.

Speaker 6 (27:51):
Yeah, his hand was the issue.

Speaker 11 (27:52):
Then from the mutual masturbation of his legacy.

Speaker 6 (27:56):
Tango Dang is that it's.

Speaker 11 (28:00):
Hard to live. It's hard to get nailed by the
king in l A every day. It's hard. When he
came to La it really sucked. I wish he would
have stayed somewhere else.

Speaker 6 (28:11):
Petros is on one today.

Speaker 11 (28:13):
You guys started with the Lebron stuff. Lebron bugs me,
Kobe used to bug me. And now it's like it's
like having a dictator. You know, it's like God, I
like that dictator before Lebron geez, missam geez.

Speaker 6 (28:29):
Where do you get your material for?

Speaker 8 (28:31):
Like do you sit around and think about like how
how does this come out of you, Petros.

Speaker 11 (28:34):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (28:35):
I do the job.

Speaker 6 (28:41):
You just do the job.

Speaker 12 (28:42):
It comes out, you know if you listen to before
getting Yes.

Speaker 6 (28:46):
I had, but I'm just saying, where does it come from? Though?
Like you don't like it's all new.

Speaker 5 (28:51):
It's like Petros will think I'm blowing smoke.

Speaker 3 (28:56):
He's like a renaissance man.

Speaker 5 (28:57):
He really is super knowledgeable out a vast array of
topics and things.

Speaker 11 (29:02):
Great point, chack of all trades, a master of none.
But you know, look, I can't as smart as I am.
I can't get I can't get one UFL game in
twenty twenty.

Speaker 2 (29:14):
Yeah. But you know what though, like you gotta listen
and no disrespect anybody calling UFL games. They can't break
down which statues have the best puzzos across the country
and you can't.

Speaker 11 (29:26):
Yeah, and if your name's Jake, but you should have
some knowledge.

Speaker 2 (29:32):
Geez, you should be a puzzo insider, a really a
real insider.

Speaker 3 (29:38):
Wow.

Speaker 11 (29:40):
So what else do you guys want to talk about?
Brandy on the Spring game? I'm sorry, you know what,
I gotta be honest, like I used to do the
job for real and really like travel Fox used to
pay me to pay for me to travel all over
as many PAC twelve schools as I could to see
spring practice and all that. And I used to pay

(30:02):
close attention and watch the televised spring games and try
to like really stay up on it. And I don't
know what it was maybe four years ago, even before
the transfer portal, when they started playing freshmen like a lot.
You know, uh, it just doesn't it's it doesn't help
me do the job to pay attention to what people
are doing in the spring anymore. You know what's crazy

(30:24):
about because the team's changed so dramatically, you know.

Speaker 5 (30:26):
They they changed, but even then they're so concerned about
a player getting injured. And I know that's always been
the case, right, I mean this goes back to you know,
LeVar and Patrick, you guys playing and like.

Speaker 11 (30:37):
There was always game used to literally be water game.
It was a yeah, yeah, there was a mile of
oh god, well except for the quarterback didn't get hurt, right,
I mean, somebody else's full death.

Speaker 5 (30:50):
But I recall like people would always have a few
guys that like they would play a few plays, but
not like the whole thing, you know, like they would
try to protect them in some way and nowadays not
like game.

Speaker 3 (30:59):
I talked to one of the coaches and this is
I'm not gonna see who it was. I'll put it
this way. The player just got there, and I go,
how much.

Speaker 5 (31:06):
Is he gonna play? It's like, oh, he's getting the
star treatment. He's very gonna play. I'm like, are you serious.
I mean it's his first spring game, like it's his
first chance in Columbus. And they're like no, no, no, no,
too good, can't risk injury. I'm like, all right, it's
different nowadays.

Speaker 11 (31:22):
And Fox is gonna play the Michigan spring game this weekend,
this weekend with Joel Brady did the Ohio State and
of course, you know we air these things. I'm sure
it's in the deal or whatever. But it is interesting
how spring football used to be like bring your lunch,
pale and let's go to war, and now it just
seems like an interesting precursor to the transfer portal, where

(31:44):
you're half asking a team that won't even be there
in the fall most likely, and every team is different
and in the midst of different circumstances. But it just
doesn't help me do the job to pay attention to
what anybody's doing in the spring. I mean, don't even
come out till July.

Speaker 5 (32:01):
I was asking you quickly about Colorado just because I
know we've we've talked about their strategy and coach Prime.
But they will literally have an entirely new starting offensive line.
The last year's offensive line gone all the portal, a
transfer out. They got a whole new group coming in,
Like is this can this be successful?

Speaker 3 (32:20):
Like? Is this gonna work?

Speaker 9 (32:21):
Lot?

Speaker 3 (32:21):
I've never seen anybody.

Speaker 11 (32:22):
Have you ever seen anybody successful with an offensive line?
Would they run it like a summer camp?

Speaker 3 (32:29):
No?

Speaker 11 (32:29):
No, right, I mean, but I saw the guy that
there's some of the names that transferred. One of the
guys was a started four games at o line later
in the year because of an injury. The other one
was a guy who came started ten games, was their
starting right tackle. He came from Kent State, so right,
he would have come with Sean Lewis, who they treated
very poorly. Dion did and now he's the head coach

(32:52):
at San Diego State. So you know, circumstantially, you look
at all these guys and you kind of say, yeah,
I could see why he transferred, and I could see
why they had him there.

Speaker 3 (33:00):
In the first place. One's from Old Dominion.

Speaker 11 (33:02):
The other one, oh line wise, was from Camp.

Speaker 5 (33:05):
But they were also guys they recruited to come in there.
Right Once it didn't work out, they're out. Yeah, the cornerback,
the whole deal. The problem is, you know, the wider view,
you can't change out your offensive line every year and
expect to have any kind of success. You look at
the teams that are good. You look at the teams
that compete every year. Usually their offensive line has been

(33:27):
together for years, and they'd plug in a guard with
a transfer or a young player, and they have a
swing guy that comes in and can play you know,
both guards, maybe center. That's the sign of a healthy
offensive line. Transferring them all out and bringing them all
in every year, it kind of feels like you're chasing
your money at a casino at three in the morning
with wild eyes sprinting to the ATM.

Speaker 2 (33:50):
Well, listen, Pee, I got another story for you that
you can look into if you want to throw it
in your list. A woman's body was found stuffed in
a trash can in Sunland yesterday.

Speaker 11 (34:01):
We'll pick that one up late, yeah, for the handle
on the news late edition.

Speaker 2 (34:05):
So there's another opportunity for you. Get him on Twitter
at the Old p He is Petros Papadaka's the co
host of the Petros and Money Show, which you can
hear a low towards a five seventy l a sports.

Speaker 11 (34:15):
California Department of Public Health urges Golden State residents to
avoid Vietnamese hemorrhoid appointment. Yeah, all right, that's the lead.
That's the lead.

Speaker 6 (34:26):
Good morning, everybody, appintment.

Speaker 11 (34:29):
This is what I do to make extra money in
the offseason.

Speaker 6 (34:32):
Hey, Petros, will see you tomorrow. We'll do it.

Speaker 11 (34:34):
Can get a Birmingham Busters game or anything.

Speaker 7 (34:41):

Speaker 3 (35:04):
You missed it.

Speaker 2 (35:12):
For that, we turned it over to our executive producer, Lee.

Speaker 9 (35:17):
Lap Good more than Everybody good Boarding, Jonas Goodboard, and LeVar.

Speaker 3 (35:25):
Damn.

Speaker 9 (35:27):
In case you missed this lots of soundaruil, but none
better than what you're about to hear right now. That
being from Jacksonville Jaguars General manager manager Trent Balky, who
uh gave a little honest, uh, a little honesty at
the mic yesterday.

Speaker 6 (35:47):
Take a listen.

Speaker 16 (35:47):
Still got a couple of days going through coaching. I
haven't sat down and go excuse me going through the final.

Speaker 3 (35:54):
Board yet what.

Speaker 6 (35:57):
What He's very polite man, by the way, what exactly
was that?

Speaker 3 (36:03):
That was it?

Speaker 2 (36:05):
That was his ass barking?

Speaker 8 (36:06):
Oh wow, oh wowders, that's gotta be the most embarrassing
thing that could happen to you.

Speaker 2 (36:14):
But was the teaser lie most honest moment from an
NFL front office all off season one more time.

Speaker 16 (36:21):
Still got a couple of days of going through coaching.
I haven't sat down and go excuse me.

Speaker 9 (36:29):
He's not embarrassed at all, by the way, my man,
that thing, yeah he had to push that one.

Speaker 2 (36:34):
That was intentional.

Speaker 6 (36:36):
Maybe it's not embarrassing.

Speaker 3 (36:37):
My bad.

Speaker 2 (36:37):
He's like, I gotta get this out asap, tang. I mean,
at least he excused himself.

Speaker 6 (36:43):
He doesn't try to talk over it or anything. He
gives a pause, pause, so you push it.

Speaker 8 (36:47):
That was that, and just continued on like, excuse me,
at least I walk away, I gotta, I gotta, I
gotta call. I don't know that that calls in the question.
You're okay, wow, I'll say this. That's that's wow.

Speaker 2 (37:04):
I'll say this, Lee, You're a liar, okay, because when
we are in Ireland, it was me, you and Jade
and we were walking around.

Speaker 6 (37:12):
And I took five strides away, okay, and what did
you do? I lifted my leg Okay.

Speaker 3 (37:18):
We were in a park.

Speaker 2 (37:19):
We were in a really nice park in Dublin, like
a really nice like a big like just a huge
park with like green everywhere, and it was beautiful people
walking their dogs with their families there and this scumbag
and a half in the middle of this park in
broad daylight and everything cuts. The fart lifts his leg

(37:41):
like like he's trying to get it out of his
pant leg, like you try to start, ah, like you
try to start as his bike. You could have heard
this thing from space, like don't even don't even try
and say that that was the politest, most polite move
in the world.

Speaker 6 (37:56):
League you could have I could have just done it
right then and there.

Speaker 2 (37:59):
But you didn't have to shake your leg out like
like you had like you had a beehive in your
sock and you were trying to get rid of it,
and then the like. That's the one thing I do
find funny though, is that people will cut a fart
in public and they'll look at you as if you're.

Speaker 6 (38:18):
You got the problem one more time? One more time,
that's getting one.

Speaker 16 (38:22):
More We got a couple of days going through coaching.
I haven't sat down and go excuse me.

Speaker 11 (38:29):
It's like it choked him.

Speaker 6 (38:32):
It choked him like he tried to cheek talk and
he couldn't hold eye contacted everything, It blocked his airway.

Speaker 2 (38:38):
It was like he was playing hide and seek and
then all of a sudden it just went boo. So
I don't know, I'm not really sure how to handle this.
I had a guy and I don't want to because
I love this guy, but I don't want to out him.
But a restaurant, a restaurant that I frequent that I'm
good friends with the owner, the owner of the restaurant,

(39:01):
I was ordering some to go food and I believe
this might have been in the middle of COVID and
this guy, as I'm ordering to go food like, takes
the menu, that to go menu out of my hand,
cuts a fart, waves it with the menu he does,
and then hands it back to me and not even

(39:24):
thinking there was an issue with it. And do you
know what I did? I ordered my food and I overtipped.
I was in such shock. I know, I didn't know
what to do.

Speaker 11 (39:33):
I didn't know what to do.

Speaker 2 (39:35):
I was so appalled at his recklessness with a customer
in front of him, in the middle of COVID that
I just said, I kind of admire the balls on
this guy. Here's an extra twenty bucks. I didn't know
what to do.

Speaker 11 (39:47):
I didn't know what to do.

Speaker 8 (39:49):
So it goes back to my original point. Off the air,
it's what you are. You're soft.

Speaker 6 (39:56):
It was just very very ring moment.

Speaker 2 (40:00):
But uh, you know, good for you. Trent Balkey had
to get it out.

Speaker 6 (40:04):
Gotta let him fly. Are you so soft?

Speaker 3 (40:06):
Man?

Speaker 6 (40:06):
Amen? I don't know.

Speaker 8 (40:07):
Go ahead, let's talk about how soft Jonus is.

Speaker 6 (40:11):
Yeah, well, guys.

Speaker 9 (40:13):
In case you missed this, the NFL could introduce a
new rapid concussion test after FDA approval. This test being
called the e stat Alinity test can detect two proteins
that get released into the blood when someone suffers a concussion.
According to its developers, it has a ninety five point
six percent rate of ruling a concussion if done within
twenty four hours of a head injury.

Speaker 2 (40:33):
I mean, if you want to avoid getting a concussion,
stay away from tramp Balkey's ass, because apparently stuff's flying
out h like, like every off season they're like trying
to do something new. They got new helmets. Now they
got new uh whatever happened to the good old days
LeVar with just a ride al with just that one
little chin strap that the kickers used.

Speaker 8 (40:54):
Hey listen, I don't know. Maybe they'll start coming up
with new boxing gloves and stuff like that. Maybe maybe
that will start. Maybe they'll start having, you know, boxers
where you know, helmets outside of the amateurs, you know,
I don't know, yeah, protecting. You know, there was a
time where there were hockey players that didn't even wear helmets.

(41:16):
You know, there were certain guys they just they didn't.

Speaker 2 (41:17):
Even RT mc tavish.

Speaker 8 (41:19):
You gotta wear helmets nowadays, So, I mean, you know,
things evolved, Things happen. Technology makes things better, they say,
I don't know.

Speaker 9 (41:27):
My question about this test though, is it says it's
done within twenty four hours, So if you've had any
kind of head injury within the twenty four hours. Usually
when I'm thinking they're getting tested for a concussion, I'm
thinking of like a recent play and they're seeing stars
and whatnot. I imagine every guy on the field has
some kind of head injury within twenty four.

Speaker 6 (41:43):
Hours playing the game.

Speaker 8 (41:45):
Yeah, not everybody, not everybody, but I mean just the
fact that the degree there's there's like definitely linemen are
hitting their heads, and linebackers and running backs there you
know there is contact with heads for certain.

Speaker 2 (41:58):
Yeah, I mean it's better and cutting a fart at
a press coott.

Speaker 8 (42:01):
I don't know that could leave you with a concussion too,
especially as violent as that one was.

Speaker 6 (42:06):
