Speaker 1 (00:00):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Jonas Knox with you here. Coming up on
this Monday edition, we are going to look back at
a couple of things that took place over the weekend.
One would be Sinco de Mayo, because sometimes it just
jumps out and gets you. The other would be the
Tom Brady roast and everybody caught a little bit of shrapnel,
including the owner of the Patriots, and that was not
(00:21):
a good thing for one person on stage, we will explain.
We're also going to talk about the potential of Caleb
Williams star power and impact in Chicago based on something
that went down over the weekend. Could JJ Watt be
making a return to the NFL. We'll discuss that as
well too, And the Odell Beckham Junior journey continues. He's
on his way to South Beach. What that means to
(00:42):
Miami and to the AFC East. It's all yours coming
up next here, Two Pros and a Cup of Joe
on a Monday, Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
Give this.

Speaker 4 (01:50):
Leah's floating pig off that rocket feel.

Lely lat Hey, I'll saylead a lab.
Speaker 4 (02:36):
Hey, you want to save a tree. Drink with Lee.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
You ain't getting no run down the next day, check
your email?
Speaker 4 (02:47):
My email? What you mean my email?
Speaker 1 (02:51):
So Brady Quinn was supposed to be here and then
all of a sudden, well, eat a little bit of
a travel snaffoo, which he I'll just put it this way.
Speaker 4 (02:59):
I got a little bit of the preview.
Speaker 1 (03:01):
And uh, hell, have no fury like Brady Quinn annoyed
with the travel industry because he is going to unload
coming up tomorrow when he gets Oh no, he's not
happy Delta.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
We should have a whole show dedicated to airlines and travel.
Speaker 4 (03:21):
Man.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
Honestly, it's like you think more people than you could
imagine deal with the same type of travel complexities and
and snaffoos and and bad things like like us.
Speaker 4 (03:35):
I'm telling you, I just, I mean just in the
time we've done the show, it's crazy.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
How many times have you had to say something I
don't know if I don't know the situation.
Speaker 1 (03:43):
You had to take an uber from Chicago to Columbus
all man with your wheelchair, I had one foot, I'm walking,
I'm walking looking for people limping around LaVar Laura look
like they just like just takeing them out of the
Civil War red AFTERI it looks and uh, it's just
(04:05):
but this show man, everybody has dealt with some sort
of an issue like we went to we went to
the Breeders Cup in at Keenland and delayed, delayed, delayed
lightning strikes. Then they'll give you the run around like
a mechanical air on the plane or some crap like that.
And didn't you get left on the on the tarmac. Yes, yes,
(04:29):
for a while, right, yes.
Speaker 4 (04:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
It's not great, man, that's how I missed. That's how
I missed the flight. That's how I missed the flight.
Speaker 4 (04:37):
Yeah, it's not Uh, there's not ideal at all.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
I sat there, we landed in time and sat on
Oh well got here a little early, just a little early. Wait,
we're still sitting here for it, like my flight. You know,
I can make it like we're just gonna be here
for ten more minutes. Then it was twenty more minutes.
Then it was thirty more minutes, Then it was ten
more minutes. Then it was too more minutes that they'd
(05:01):
added up to like an hour, and my flight was long.
I was like, they know we're on the flight. They're
not gonna hold the flight. It's the last fight out.
They said, well, the one that holds more people, like
there are a lot of people connecting, like they're just
explaining it nice and calmly.
Speaker 4 (05:17):
Oh, the flights that the.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
Last flight's out, you're right, and and those who you
know have you know, ten or more something like that,
they're probably going to wait. And I'm like, wait, my
flight probably only holds like ten people. So I'm like,
so what that just means what they're They're looking at
me like I go into a room to get like
(05:41):
because I'm limping around, So they take me into the
handicap room so I didn't have to stand in the
long line with everybody else because I use I was
using the cysts. I was used, I'm in a wheelchair.
They will chair me. They will chair my head. So
we going there and I was like talking to them
and they looking at it like this this is child's play, Like.
Speaker 4 (06:03):
You're talking to me. I was like, I was.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
I said something and I was like, I was like,
it's not like this is life for death, but it's
kind of messed up that I and they.
Speaker 4 (06:14):
Looked at me.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
They're like, sir, we see people dying here all the
time and they're literally trying to get home to die.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
And I just stopped. I was like, cut.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
Dang for real, can I can I get an uber,
I just take an over. I'm you know what. I
felt bad for them, like people missing their flights to go,
Like imagine that airline people.
Speaker 4 (06:45):
There are people.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
Trying to fly home to die, literally to die, gone
out of here, wherever.
Speaker 4 (06:54):
The next place is, that's where they're.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
Going, and they have to die in the airport because
you suck at flying people around.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
Yeah, that sucks. That is crazy.
Speaker 2 (07:05):
That lady looked me in my eyes with the like
the most nonchalant look, like it is life or death.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
Do you think the people that die in the airport
at least get like one of those free neck pillows,
some peanuts or something, you know, like like you don't
have to pay nine dollars for a ten page magazine
at the at the Hudson news stand.
Speaker 4 (07:25):
I mean, at least something like giving you your wings, dude,
I give you some wings on yours, Like.
Speaker 1 (07:30):
A low end cask gets fifteen hundred dollars, Can I
at least get a neck pillow? Like please? All right,
like don't charge me for everything while I'm in.
Speaker 4 (07:37):
Here, I would say this, I hope.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
Y'all transport those good people to where they're going for free.
Speaker 4 (07:51):
Please, that's the least you could do.
Speaker 2 (07:55):
I hope y'all transport them and get them to where
they need to get to. Yeah, well I would have
to say I had to take their last breaths and
a service customer service.
Speaker 4 (08:08):
The lounge room out of here.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
I said, I'll take an uber. I'm not dying. I'm sorry,
I'm not I'm not dying. I'll take I'll take an uber.
Speaker 1 (08:21):
Now that being said, my guy, Anthony Edwards.
Speaker 4 (08:25):
Yes, my god, my guy, the man I told you. Look,
I ain't saying I ain't saying he's MJ. But I
ain't saying he ain't. Damn. Watch, we might be seeing.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
We might be seeing the next iteration of what MJ
was in the era.
Speaker 4 (08:44):
That he was in.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
We might just be seeing the start of an era
of a person that is as electrifying, has all of
those elements that Michael Jordan brought to the and Anthony Edwards.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
I'll say this for our friends listening on the alle
Horne of the Twin Cities K fan in Minneapolis, Dude,
who cares If JJ McCarthy works out?
Speaker 4 (09:11):
You got and Edwards? You got? You got, Anthony Edwards.
You are fine. The warves t Wolves are humming b.
Speaker 1 (09:18):
One of the more enjoyable teams in the NBA to
watch in recent memory in my mind. And you got
those two big guys just rolling out too throwbacks.
Speaker 4 (09:27):
I said it.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
You got two seven footers and one of them can
shoot from from out out like he town's got game. Man,
they had the potential makings if they can hold it together,
and they can, they have the potential makings of being
a pretty special team for the next couple of years. Man,
they're the ones that can knock off the Denver Nuggets.
(09:50):
They're exciting to watch, and it gets it's it's a
it's a rocket ship like.
Speaker 4 (09:58):
Minnesota is almost.
Speaker 2 (10:00):
It's like kind of like a big city that nobody
really talks about. Right, It's like a major market that
nobody really talks about. It's like at the largest mall
in the world.
Speaker 4 (10:08):
Or some crap like that.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
It's like a tremendous like metropolitan Right. I'm pretty sure
it's a metro anyway. You got a guy that's putting
them on the map, bro not like in the Minnesota
Timberwolves who couldn't get it done.
Speaker 4 (10:25):
With Steph was it?
Speaker 2 (10:25):
Stephan Maulberry and Kevin Garnett think it was Stephan and
Kevin Garnet.
Speaker 1 (10:30):
I know it was KG Blaffric. I think it waste
Stefan mar Troy Hudson too. I want to Troy.
Speaker 4 (10:35):
They were loaded there.
Speaker 2 (10:36):
They were loaded, and they couldn't get it. They couldn't
get it done. Yeah, if they can get it done,
I'm gonna tell you what. The legend of Anthony Edwards
has the ant man. They need to call him heir ant.
Speaker 1 (10:51):
And it's a good, good story because you got Mike Conley,
who just turned sixty five.
Speaker 2 (10:55):
Yeah, right, So to see him moving around him little
jitter bug.
Speaker 1 (11:00):
To see him, by the way, wasn't he teammates with
Greg Odin, Yeah?
Speaker 4 (11:07):
I believe he was. That's how long Mike Conley's been
in the NBA for.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
And just no drama, no thrills, just steady, consistent, old
school point guard. Paired with Ann Edwards, those two big guys,
that's just a fun team to watch.
Speaker 2 (11:20):
Man.
Speaker 1 (11:20):
You got a coach who's knee got ripped in half
the previous round out there hobbling around, you know, going
against Denver, the defending champs. They took game one, They've
got Game two coming up later on tonight. You had
a Game seven yesterday between the Cavs and the Magic.
So the NBA is going to start to get a
lot more interesting here. And in case you were wondering
about basketball in Los Angeles, yeah, no, just not. It
(11:42):
doesn't really exist at this point in time with the
Lakers and the Clippers and what happened over the weekend
and the firing of Darvin Ham and all that stuff.
So that is your quick recap of THEBA right there,
and we will touch on that coming up later on
as we you know, kind of take a look around
and peek into the future for the National Basketball Association.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
I lik in this playoffs this year, though, like Cleveland
going up against the Celtics, that's not going to be
an easy series.
Speaker 4 (12:07):
I like. I like.
Speaker 2 (12:09):
I like the playoff scenarios right now. I like the
matchups right now.
Speaker 1 (12:13):
I like it because there's no Lebron. No, that's not
why I listen for what is worth you're seeing. You're
seeing the changing of the guard take place.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
Yeah, and and these young stars, they're they are leading
the teams that are still in the playoff.
Speaker 1 (12:29):
Well you remember when so there was this conversation a
few years back where they were like pointing out the
age of the star quarterbacks in the NFL, and they
pointed out Tom Brady and Roethlisberger and it was Eli
Manning and Philip and you.
Speaker 4 (12:42):
Like pointing out the age of all them.
Speaker 1 (12:43):
They're like, god, well, you know, after these guys, is
the is the NFL going to be able to find
a superstar? And in STEP's Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen
and all these and it's okay, wealth all right, yeah.
Speaker 2 (12:55):
But if hart pressed to find somebody who doesn't say
Patrick Mahomes yeah.
Speaker 1 (12:59):
And so, like you, I always think when people are
worried about is there going to be another star? Is
there going to be someone who develops or comes into
focus after these people walk away or these players walk away.
And it's like if Lebron James decided to walk away,
the NBA is going to be fine. Now, maybe it
might have to do a little bit more digging to
talk about certain things. And he can't be a constant
(13:20):
topic of conversation, but Anthony Edwards is going to be
around for the foreseeable future.
Speaker 4 (13:25):
He's a stud.
Speaker 1 (13:26):
You got Donovan Mitchell going off yesterday like there's Apollo
Bancaro or Orlando had you know, close to forty yesterday.
He's a good young player. Like there's good superstars in
the NBA that're developing, Zion Williamson, you know when he
was playing, I was putting up what forty against the
Lakers in that playing game, Like, there's there's stars in
and around the NBA. So for anybody out there wondering, well,
(13:50):
after Lebron walks away, what are we gonna have to
talk about, Well you'll figure it out.
Speaker 4 (13:53):
Just do a little bit of research, you know, it's.
Speaker 1 (13:56):
Just just watch Anthony Edwards and just sit back and
enjoys all we're gonna.
Speaker 4 (14:03):
Say, Bron James and have fun with that.
Speaker 1 (14:06):
And also, uh, you know, we will have some more
posts single to my conversation as well too, because you know,
based on what the roads look like early this morning
coming in.
Speaker 4 (14:18):
I didn't even put that to gathering.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
I mean, oh, man, listen, thoughts and prayers, man, because
there was a bad one that I I can't I
don't want to incriminate myself, but there was a bad
one that just took place, man, bad bad one. And
I'm not saying to criminate myself as if I was
a part of it. I was not a part of it.
But you know I didn't. I wasn't gotta get to work.
(14:41):
I gotta get to work. I gotta get to work.
Like I counted, I counted eight people running up to
the burning cars. I just had to pull on through.
I had to because I knew once the once the
police got there, I can't go nowhere like I'm rolled
down the window and go riverside, riverside.
Speaker 1 (15:01):
No, y'all got that's it terrible.
Speaker 4 (15:06):
I can't. I mean, it's too soon.
Speaker 2 (15:07):
It's definitely too soon to be joking about it, because
I don't know if everybody made it out there.
Speaker 4 (15:12):
So though, like I had to get a coffee, I
had to get a coffee. I had to go get
my coffee out. That is affed up. Man.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
Hey, hey, I did pull over though, I did all right,
So I'm saying I did pull over, and I was good.
I was about to get out and beat that good Samaritan.
But it's like it's like there's already nine people out.
The one dude is filming it on his phone. You
you're a jerk, Like you're a jerk for real. He's
like he's filming it. He went live like it looked
like he was live on his I g or something
(15:42):
that he's like looking at all it like he gotta
he's reporting live from the scene of the crime.
Speaker 4 (15:47):
Dude is does not crying. Dude is like.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
Kind of like trying to crawl out of the car.
I see people over here, they sitting down. It's just
it was. It was a mess.
Speaker 4 (15:56):
I was.
Speaker 2 (15:57):
I was afraid I might pop a tire because it
was all kinds of debris, messed up stuff on the ground,
and I'm trying to like navigate through it. I'm trying
to make sure nobody runs into me from behind. It
was very stressful. I don't want to make it about me,
because I certainly wasn't the one in the accident.
Speaker 4 (16:12):
But I pulled over. That's the point.
Speaker 2 (16:14):
I did pull over to help, so but I just
saw a lot of people getting out, so I pulled off.
I was like, hey, I gotta get this coffee. I
gotta get the work, you know, the best you could.
There's a lot of people that might wreck if they
don't hear our voices while they drive into work, you
know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (16:27):
Some people call it cal trans. We call var trans.
You know, out here in southern California, all right, he'll stop.
He'll look and say, you, guys, where seven to eleven is,
and then go grab a coffee and head into work.
But nonetheless, we've got all sorts of good stuff here
on this show. Here on Two Pros and a couple
of Jo's, we take you all the way up until
nine am Eastern time, six o'clock Pacific. We are gonna
(16:49):
have another edition of In case you missed it coming
up later on this hour. We've also got an FSR
I R and there's gonna be a lot to talk
about in the f SR I R Our two of
the program. When we close up shop with you, any
of you out, it's all yours here on this three
hour extravaganza from the ti raq dot com studios. Coming
up next here though, we could see the potential return
of not one, but two future Hall of Famers in
(17:13):
the NFL.
Speaker 4 (17:13):
We'll tell you who that is next.
Speaker 3 (17:15):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 5 (17:31):
Hey, I'm Doug Gottlieb. The podcast is called All Ball.
We usually talk all basketball all the time, but it's
more about the stories about what made these people love
their sport and all the interesting interactions along the way.
We talked to coaches, we talked to players, We tell
you stories. You download it, you listen to it. I
think you like it. Listen to All Ball with Doug
(17:53):
Gottlieb on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you
get your podcasts.
Speaker 2 (18:00):
It's a great song for Lee right now. Dude to
pee wee Herman. Due to pee we Herman. Oh, come
on yeah, come on, yeah, come on, yeah, come on,
come on, come on.
Speaker 4 (18:13):
Yeah, No, No, unbelievable. Two pros and a cup of Joe.
Speaker 1 (18:19):
Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Jonas Knox with you here
coming up in we'll call it a little over twenty
minutes from now from the TAIRAQ dot Com studios. Apparently
nobody is safe in the NFL and beyond. We've got
the proof for you coming up here a little over
twenty minutes from now on FSR. So in case you
(18:39):
were wondering, JJ Watt is still keeping himself in shape.
Just in case anybody was wondering anybody was looking for
an update on the JJ Watt situation and whether or
not a potential return could happen in the NFL. Well,
he was at his chair charity softball tournament over the weekend,
and he addressed the potential of who knows, maybe calling
(19:00):
up Demko, Ryan's former teammate of his and possibly coming
back to join the Houston Texans.
Speaker 4 (19:05):
Here was the former Texans great and.
Speaker 6 (19:07):
I'm a very fortunate, lucky man. I got a beautiful wife,
I got a beautiful son, had twelve great years in
this league, and I'm very thankful to have walked away
healthy and playing great. I mean, I told Demko last year,
I said, don't call unless you absolutely need it. But
if you ever do call, I'll be there. But he knows,
not the call unless he absolutely needs it. This is
(19:28):
the last year I'll tell him that because I'm not
going to keep training the way I've been trained. But
he knows that if he ever truly does need it,
I'll be there for him. But I don't anticipate that happening.
They got a very good crew.
Speaker 1 (19:39):
So we saw it with Eric Weddle years ago where
they did bring him back. Yeah, and they brought him
back for a short run. But I can't imagine, although
I could understand why he would want to come back,
because when you see c J. Stroud and you look
at and JJ wats probably thinking to himself, Man, you know,
Matt Shaw had some good year years with us, but
(20:01):
it didn't look like how it looks for CJ.
Speaker 4 (20:03):
Stroud.
Speaker 1 (20:04):
And so when you see that in Houston, I wonder
if that's part of the appeal, Like this, this is
a team that's got a legitimate chance to potentially compete
for a Super Bowl. And if Houston and Demiico Ryans
called him in the postseason and said, hey, man, what
do you think I mean, he might contain the offer.
Speaker 4 (20:23):
Who is the.
Speaker 2 (20:25):
Defensive end that did it for the Cowboys? He came
back for Haley, Charles Haley. Yeah, I mean, it's it's
been done before. He's thirty five years old. He's not
that old. That's not that old. Like he's had some
some injuries, he's been banged up a little bit, but
I mean, in the end, he's not that old. And
(20:47):
if you just needed some leadership and you needed somebody
that could give you an extra boost, he probably isn't man,
Look I was I seen I seen old duck go
go uh go viral. Not too long like maybe last
week or something like that doing drills. Darryl Green is
still out training and teaching guys dB drills, and he's
(21:09):
quicker than everybody. He's training Darryl Green is He's quicker
and faster than everybody's training to two rolls in the
sock day. They make you go fast?
Speaker 4 (21:19):
What they what? What?
Speaker 3 (21:21):
What?
Speaker 2 (21:21):
Oh? What the what? He don't used no profanity. He's
super super Christian, super favors driven.
Speaker 7 (21:29):
Dude.
Speaker 4 (21:29):
I think I'm gonna start stealing that what the what? Kids?
It is right because you know what you want to say,
but you can't.
Speaker 1 (21:38):
So jj Watt's final year a couple of years ago,
he had twelve and a half sacks for Arizona like that,
And I think he pointed this out as well too,
was like, look, he finished off strong.
Speaker 4 (21:51):
He had been injuries injury riddled as.
Speaker 1 (21:54):
You pointed out, and just had bad luck with the
Houston towards the end of his time there. But that
that final year in Arizona, uh was the best season
he had put together in a handful of years. So
I wonder if if maybe he wrestles with the idea
of I went out playing at such a high level
with Yeah, but there's an opportunity to get a ring
(22:15):
and if you've got an opportunity with c. J.
Speaker 4 (22:17):
Stroud and that team and that roster as.
Speaker 1 (22:20):
They continue to build. I mean, Stefan Diggs is there now.
They were already a playoff team and won a playoff
game a year ago.
Speaker 2 (22:26):
You've been talking bad to Micah. They've been going all
over the world and stuff like that. David talking Mike,
have been talking bad to Hill too. It's kind of fun.
Speaker 1 (22:34):
That's great because it's like a Battle of Texas. I
was gonna say this as well too, so Micah Parsons.
And this went out over social media where he was
trying to bull rush and couldn't budge him. And I'm
thinking of myself. Did you see how big Mike has
squad is He's so sneaky big, Yeah, he's a bull
(22:57):
brouh has anybody and this can maybe so thought about.
It was an experiment we were going to do. My
company does a lot of recruitment. I brought twelve kids
from overseas that had played football in America, and and
eleven of them went Division one and we were starting
a project at one point to see if we could
(23:18):
teach sumo wrestlers how to be offensive lineman or defensive line.
Speaker 4 (23:23):
Michaeh.
Speaker 1 (23:23):
Parsons is one of the best defensive players in the
end movie.
Speaker 2 (23:27):
Couldn't move and then the dude. Then the dude swung him.
You see him swinging, He's like like whoa.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
He's got like kind of quick.
Speaker 4 (23:35):
He's funny with whoa, whoa. So I'm watching that going.
Speaker 1 (23:38):
Has anybody thought about bringing over like a sumo wrestler
and just saying, hey, man, what do you think garter tackle?
Speaker 4 (23:44):
Like like where do you want? Or shoot the gap
like like bull rush.
Speaker 2 (23:48):
Bull Rush pushed that guard back into him, pick him up,
throw him like you do them dudes that be three
hundred and four hundred pounds, Pick him up, throw him
into that guy right back there.
Speaker 4 (23:59):
In my mind time I was.
Speaker 2 (24:00):
Envisioning when we were we were working, but we never
it never because we had to connect, Like we had
gotten so connected that we actually had to connect somebody
that was living there and we were going to see
if he could go recruit at one of the sumo
schools to see if he could get you know, some
guys that would actually do it, but we just never
ended up we never ended up doing it. But man,
(24:22):
it's he it's interesting you say that, right, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (24:26):
And Michael was like, like trying, but but let's be clear,
Micah's game isn't about steam steam rolling somebody, right. Micah's
game is based off of speed, attacking from angles, using
his leverage, using like if I bet you if if
they were to line him up in front of Micah
(24:47):
and and they said get around him, he'd make that dude.
Speaker 2 (24:51):
Look like it was like child's play. Yeah, but but
but so so to me, it's it's like, all right,
can we get him to talk English? Can he snap
the ball? Because if you could get a center like
you see what Kelsey did and how effective he is.
If you can get a center that isn't pushed back
(25:13):
easily and can move move you off of the ball,
your your your offense is wide open. Your offense is
wide open because your point man, your point he's always
going to set like he's going to set the tone
for how things how things go. You gotta have athletes
(25:34):
on the outside, you know, you got to have a
tackle that can backpedal and get his hands on those
fast pass rushers. But in order to to lock and
anchor down your offensive line in the run, and even
as it applies to how much time your quarterback may have,
because the quickest, the quickest way to a quarterback is
a straight line. The closest person is should be the
(25:55):
most dangerous person. So a defensive tackle and those guard
three techniques, ero techniques, they're dangerous. If you have a
guy at the point that can set the blocking scheme
like so, he's got to be the smartest dude, you're
a center. If he can set your blocking schemes, let
you know what's going on to the other lineman, communicate
with the quarterback. That'd be the only problem in trying
(26:16):
to integrate like a sumo somebody who's not really understanding
of the language or understands the game. But if you
just put one of those guys out there and just say, hey,
hit him.
Speaker 4 (26:27):
That's why I said always always defense for.
Speaker 2 (26:30):
Guys that don't know anything about the game, just put
them on defense. Put them on defense, because you got
to be able to think a little bit more on
In most cases as an offensive line, you gotta know
when the pool.
Speaker 4 (26:41):
You got to know the leverage points. You got to
so many different things.
Speaker 2 (26:44):
Just put that man in a gap or put him
over top of the center and tell him, hey, pick
him up and throw him into that guy right literally,
just like that. That's all I need you to do.
I don't want you to learn no plays anything like that.
I just want you to take that your strong ass,
take that guy and play dodgeball with the quarterback.
Speaker 4 (27:07):
They're so strong like you.
Speaker 1 (27:09):
Just you watch Michael Parsons try and try and go
through that guy and just couldn't budge him.
Speaker 4 (27:14):
I could not budge him.
Speaker 1 (27:15):
But yeah, you know, if you line up on the
football field, maybe it would be a different story. Now,
speaking of lining up on the football field, do you
think JJ Watt lines up on the football.
Speaker 4 (27:24):
Field for the Houston Texans now at some point?
Speaker 3 (27:26):
No?
Speaker 4 (27:26):
I don't either. And also, dude, why restart the clock
on your Hall of Fame?
Speaker 1 (27:33):
Like he's got opportunities you know, I know he's staying
in shape like I.
Speaker 4 (27:37):
Play hockey and stuff like that. Right now, there's no
need for him to come back.
Speaker 1 (27:41):
You're gonna be a first bout Hall of Fame or
you're going to go in the same class as Tom Brady,
I believe coming up in about five years. You know,
he's had a hell of a career, hell of a run.
But you know, according to JJ Watt, this will be
the final year he stays in this kind of shape.
So Tamiko Ryans does give him a call if they
need some help. Who knows, maybe we'll see him come
back out make a super Bowl.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
Run for the text. I mean, it would be a
great publicity stunt, you know, I would. I mean, why
not do it? Just to it's This is the one
thing that sometimes people get so confused on It's entertainment.
It's the best reality TV show going because you have
real characters that are really competing like they're real characters.
(28:24):
Though like I don't know what's going to happen. This
is the greatest reality television show going. So if you're
gonna do something to do a plot twist, why not
bring daj Watt that.
Speaker 1 (28:37):
You know how you and I were joking that this
was the one year this past season that we didn't
pick the Ravens to go to the super Bowl, And
it looked like they were going to go to the
super Bowl, and then all of a sudden. Travis Kelsey
was like, no, I'll take that, and just they just
showed up, you know, on the road. But they were
you know, they were favored to win that game and
Baltimore was the best team in the league. And I'm like,
(28:57):
I just brought me like memories because the Houston Texans
were that team before the Ravens were. Because when they
had Andre Johnson and Arion Foster and all, like they
were really.
Speaker 4 (29:12):
They kept winning their their division. They just couldn't it,
just like they just had it. Yeah, Kansas City beat
up and that was that was the start. Well, and
then JJ Watt was in his prime back then, and
that was you know the start of the Kansas City right, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (29:27):
Because because then after the shop era, then you got
Massage Watson who came.
Speaker 4 (29:32):
In and did well. They just fell off.
Speaker 8 (29:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (29:35):
It just got rid of de Andre Hopkins because you
didn't feel like whatever. And then I just think that
Bill O'Brien want to ruin the organization before they got
like I'm gonna mess this bad boy all the way up.
It ain't never going to be the same once I leave.
Coach Bob catching a string, Bob, take it, take that,
Take that.
Speaker 1 (29:53):

Yes, I just want to say this and it switches.
I don't get it.
Speaker 1 (31:30):
Lowriders feel like one of the dumbest inventions on planet Earth.
Speaker 4 (31:34):
I have one. How you go over speed bump?
Speaker 2 (31:36):
How you go over speed bumps, curbs, everything's a problem
and it's not very like stable when you drive them
because you're on like ten inch rooms. It's not stable,
but it's fun when you bounced the bagboy.
Speaker 1 (31:53):
Yeah, that's all I'd want to do with it. It's
like it was like one.
Speaker 2 (31:56):
Of those, but it's hard to get it back to
reset it back normal.
Speaker 1 (32:00):
It's like one of those mechanical horses that you can
ride out in front of kmart when you were a kid.
Speaker 4 (32:05):
You put like a corner in and just let it ride.
I was doing it.
Speaker 2 (32:09):
One of my my air dips like went out, like
lost the air.
Speaker 4 (32:15):
They had three that joint like I was hitting the
switch like.
Speaker 2 (32:19):
Started bouncing it boom, moving one of the air What
are the joints called the air whatever they are anyways.
Speaker 4 (32:27):
Shocks that joint. No, No, it's hydraulics. The hy drawl
the high drawer went out. My car was like boom, boom,
Pale dropped to the ground.
Speaker 1 (32:39):
Well I was like, oh no, he wiled I fight
a hydraulic in my landscaper's truck.
Speaker 4 (32:44):
That's not You'll find a bunch of other stuff and
not that. So I just want we don't judge point
that out. But right now it is time for this.
Speaker 3 (32:55):
Sometimes you can't get to everything in the world of
sports or entertainment. Thing the guys are here to bring
you in case you missed.
Speaker 4 (33:05):
And for that we turned it over to our executive
producer Lee.
Speaker 7 (33:09):
Lap malfunction, malfunction, malfunctioned every malfunction malfunction shut.
Speaker 2 (33:26):
Last call, last call, shutting down, systems down, say stamaio malfunction,
hybernation hibernation mode malfunction, malfunction.
Speaker 4 (33:42):

Speaker 8 (33:44):
Good morning, everybody, Good morning Jonas, Good morning, love More, good.
Speaker 4 (33:48):
Morning screem guys, dang Lap, I might give emotions, you
might throw up. Yeah, there we go, guys.
Speaker 8 (34:06):
In case you missed it like I did last night
and I fell asleeper in this last night, guys, In
case you missed this Tom Brady roast last night, did
you see this? Let's see it on on Netflix. I
saw highlights.
Speaker 4 (34:23):
Yeah, what are you talking about? Maybe I'll steal pride
to some highlights. One, I guess those highlights?
Speaker 8 (34:37):
What we.
Speaker 4 (34:40):
You have some highlights? Yeah? You want to rentle off
some highlights?
Speaker 3 (34:45):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (34:46):
All right, so set it up. What do we got first?
All right, let's go with Tom Brady right off the
top rope on Kim Kardashian. Let's go Jim Kardashian. Thank
you so much for being here. I know Kim was
terrified to be here tonight.
Speaker 3 (35:05):
Not because of this, but because her kids are home
with their dadang.
Speaker 8 (35:16):
Bag.
Speaker 4 (35:17):
Hey, anybody can get it. Look for Kanye to come
out with a response to that, do you think so? Hell? Yeah,
that's an easy one. That's a low hanging fruit right there.
Speaker 2 (35:27):
What I mean, Kim Kardashian, Tom Brady he roasting her
over to her.
Speaker 4 (35:33):
That's low hanging fruit.
Speaker 3 (35:35):
All right?
Speaker 4 (35:35):
Come on, you want to hear some bills roast?
Speaker 8 (35:37):
Here you go.
Speaker 4 (35:38):
I don't want to get the NFL too upset. I'm
trying to buy a piece of the Raiders. I'm tired
of owning just the Colts and the Bills.
Speaker 3 (35:49):
Oh, Buffalo fans call themselves the Bills Mafia.
Speaker 4 (35:56):
How are you the mafia? At least the mafia has
her ring you can kiss. That's that bad. I mean,
that's that bad. I mean they're written for these guys.
That's not the delivery. It's all about the delivery, though,
you gotta deliver it the right way. That's pretty good,
(36:16):
pretty solid. What else we got, Lee? Oh we have
a little Belichick. Let's hear. Let's hear Bill.
Speaker 1 (36:21):
I've been watching on Fox NFL Sunday, and I'm begging
you please.
Speaker 4 (36:26):
Stop doing your job.
Speaker 1 (36:32):
Also, so Gronk was sitting next to Julian Edelman, who
I didn't know if anybody was.
Speaker 4 (36:39):
Gonna go go out him running all the cars and
st it this way.
Speaker 1 (36:44):
Aaron Hernandez made the joke yeah by Tom Brady as
well too.
Speaker 4 (36:50):
I think Tom Brady's quote was.
Speaker 1 (36:51):
You know, it didn't take a lot, you know, to
be a tight end run, catch the ball, don't murder
like yeah. So like everybody was getting getting trapnel last
night during the Tom Brady roast, Lady, we have one more.
Speaker 4 (37:06):
We have a little bit of fun. Uh you know,
sigo to mile, we have a little bit of a drink.
Let's take a listen. I wanted to say, this is
the greatest coach in the history of the game.
Speaker 1 (37:17):
That did what no one else has done, and having
Tom Brady and him was the greatest honor.
Speaker 4 (37:25):
The Good Lord gave me so a doing a shot together.
Speaker 1 (37:35):
Jeffrey Ross, so he did show up. Do we have
the Jeffrey Ross talking about Robert Kraft?
Speaker 2 (37:40):
We do not.
Speaker 1 (37:40):
Okay, all right, so we are efforting that one because
we were speculating who was gonna who was gonna make
the massage joke, and Tom Brady was not.
Speaker 4 (37:49):
Happy with that.
Speaker 1 (37:51):
You know, jeff you know, Jeffrey's coming up, so you know,
at least, uh, you know, at least it wasn't PG.
I mean, Rob Bronkowski did one of the stuff we
just can't play in the air, like we can't even
pretend to play it because it's too graphic. But Rob
Gronkowski did one where he basically talked about Tom Brady
(38:12):
I'll put it politely, screwing over Belichick all the way
from Tampa and how Julian Edelman helped facilitate the screwing
over if you know what I mean, sort of got
Belichick ready for the uh for getting you know, screwed Oh.
Speaker 4 (38:33):
I don't get it. Yeah, very very graphic.
Speaker 1 (38:37):
Roberts No Gronk. Gronk let it fly a little bit.
So but look, I mean he was out there. People
wondered how hard in the pain everybody was going to
go on some of these guys and some of these celebrities,
and it was an actual real roast, like everybody got roasted.
So but you know, there's a Kevin Hart was there,
(38:58):
you know, all the celebrities.
Speaker 2 (39:00):
Hearts so small man, he is such a small man.
Bro this's a big break though
