Two Pros and a Cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio.
LaVar Arrington, Brady, Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here. Coming
up on this Wednesday edition, We're going to talk about
the gag job in Boston last night. How the hell
did the Indiana Pacers blow that game? We will discuss.
We're also going to talk about the optimism in New
York for Aaron Rodgers and the Jets, but not everybody
feels that way. We're going to talk about a trend
(00:20):
that was set by one LeVar Arrington. Apparently lean is
in if you believe what you're seeing around the NFL
when it comes to quarterback play. We're going to talk
about the quarterback battle in Pittsburgh as well too. We're
also going to talk about the heat being on Tom
Brady based on something that happened in the world of
sports and television over the last twenty four hours plus.
We got another edition of In case you missed it.
(00:41):
We've got our Midweek Awards, and we've got the old
Peace Stop them by. It's all yours. Coming up next here,
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe on a Wednesday,
Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
You're listening to Fox Sports.
Speaker 1 (00:53):

(01:15):
And ladies and gentlemen, we had ourselves a gag job
in Boston.
Speaker 3 (01:20):
Last What a gag job?
Speaker 1 (01:22):
How the hell did the Indianapolis and the Indiana Pacers
hell that the end of that game and end up
down one in a game they should have won up
with under ten seconds left in control with the basketball
and end up losing in overtime to the cellphone.
Speaker 3 (01:42):
That was bad, man, got you want you want? You
want me Q for you to do your NBA Now, Well,
well here's the.
Speaker 4 (01:51):
Thing, all right, you have a Pacers team everything that
people said Halliburton would be the cataly as he was.
Speaker 3 (02:01):
You you look.
Speaker 4 (02:02):
At them being in a hostile environment in the NBA Finals,
and they prove out. They proved out all right. The
first first, uh, first, quarter, they were only down by three.
Second quarter, they won the quarter. They scored thirty three
(02:23):
and in Boston scored thirty. Now what happens in the
third and the fourth second half? It just seemed like
it was a very, very evenly matched game all the
way through, and the Pacers did what they needed to
do in an evenly matched game, in a hostile environment
(02:46):
to and close out the game. A three point looked
like it should be a three point victory, possibly a
one point game, because at the end of the game
they went for a layup. They it's the layup, and
you know it should have been a rap. Yeah, I
mean give give Tatum and the Celtics credit for not
(03:10):
giving up because it just seemed like, Okay, let's move
on to the next game. And they pulled through. They
pulled through. They got another opportunity, an unseemingly opportunity. Uh
at that last that last play, he ties up the game.
They go into overtime, and obviously the rest is history.
(03:31):
But I mean, talk about a game one should never
be a heartbreaker, It should never be a heartbreaker for
a series. But if the Pacers were to lose this
this series, if they were to get swept. If it
were a Game seven, We're going to look back on
(03:52):
Game one and we're going to be like, you know what,
if the Pacers didn't let Game one get away from
them the way that they did, they may it may
have either been a better series or they could have
possibly even won the.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Series, because you're just looking to get one on the road,
right absolutely, and then that the first one, and that
was your one.
Speaker 4 (04:14):
Maybe and that was your one. No, that was your one.
That was your one. I mean they may get another one.
They were, I mean, they were good enough. Look at
it this way. That's glass half empty, right, glass half full.
You went into Boston and you know you should have
won that game. There's no there's no possible way you
(04:37):
can convince me if I'm an Indiana Pacer that we
weren't the better team that night.
Speaker 3 (04:43):
How do we.
Speaker 5 (04:43):
Feel about the Rick Carlisle foul strategy towards the end?
Speaker 3 (04:47):
How do we feel about that?
Speaker 1 (04:49):
I think and he talked about it as well too.
The fact, well, the fact that we have sound on that.
I mean, we've got sound on that, and we've got
sound on Rick Carlisle also being accountable on every pretty reason.
Speaker 3 (05:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
So let's hear it from Rick Carlisle, who a lot
of people say looks like Jim Carrey. I don't see it.
There's a lot of people who point that out. Really,
but here was the Pacers head coach afterwards.
Speaker 3 (05:11):
This loss is totally on me.
Speaker 6 (05:13):
With ten seconds in regulation, we should have just taken
the time out, advanced the ball and found a way
to get it in and made a free thrower too, and.
Speaker 3 (05:21):
Ended the game.
Speaker 6 (05:22):
But it didn't happen, and we made some other mistakes.
But our guys just need to concentrate on fighting the
way they fought in this game from start to finish,
and we'll be back Thursday. Was there instruction a foul
before that round three, but though there wasn't really a
chance to do so, Yes, but he caught the ball
and he was faced up, so Pascal decided to lay off,
(05:43):
which was you know, I understand, you know that's probably
the right decision. You don't want to give up a
four point play. So you know, look a lot of
things had to go wrong for us and right for them.
They did, and so you know, we got to own
it and we gotta get rid for Thursday.
Speaker 1 (06:01):
I mean, he's not wrong and that didn't cost them
the game. But the turnovers, like they got sloppy and
overtime Haliburton turned it over a couple of times. You
just can't help but wonder how in that spot and
there there was a couple other moments where dribbled the
ball off his foot, things like that, to where like
(06:23):
to his point, everything had to go right for Boston,
everything had to go wrong for them, but it could
have been avoided had he called the time out. They
advanced the ball, and I think that's probably his biggest regret.
Brown catching the ball in the corner. There's nothing they
can really do about it. You're not gonna foul him
shooting a three. You saw that happen in the Dallas
series with PJ. Washington and it ended it for Okac, Like,
(06:45):
you're not going to foul him in that spot. It
was a great shot, but you know, you still had
an opportunity before that, and he blew it.
Speaker 3 (06:51):
I just don't know why you don't call him Jalen
You know who Brown?
Speaker 1 (06:57):
Yeah, Jaalen Brown. JB's Brown. Look the in laws for
you are happy, you know, they're happy with with the
C's winning last night. Brady Quinn.
Speaker 5 (07:06):
Yeah, I know, but it'd be we're trying to we're
trying to sweep out and get all their their teams
out of the mix. We got the Bruins out, We're
working on the Celtics now.
Speaker 3 (07:15):
So this is trust me.
Speaker 5 (07:17):
I just like I can't feel with this, uh, these
family dinners. It gets a little bit obnoxious family dinners.
But I love that I'm out here all by myself.
Speaker 3 (07:28):
You guys have no family out here. It's all good. Hey,
so listen.
Speaker 4 (07:36):
Another thing that I was thinking about was the center,
the center of the court, the paint. It's it's uh,
it's a vulnerability for for the Celtics. So it's another
type take that they probably aren't going to say, but
it's it's being talked about and people are aware of it.
The interior defense for the Celtics is putrit right now
(08:00):
and oh it's bad. And if I'm the Indianapolis Pacers,
I'm I'm saying, get get your guns ready.
Speaker 3 (08:09):
Like let's let's blaze these these.
Speaker 4 (08:11):
Trails from the outside because we are going to assault
the paint. And if if we don't need to use
the three, we won't use it. But if we if
if in fact, we get what we know, we're we're
capable of getting and doing in the paint versus that
(08:32):
that uh that the bigs of of the Celtics, mainly
mainly Horford, they're going they're going to have a very
very difficult time in this series because their interior defense
is not good. And I wonder if Indianapolis. I'm certain
Indianapolis saw it. I'm certain that they're they're aware of it,
(08:54):
and I would not be shocked if they have a
convincing victory over them in Game two.
Speaker 3 (09:01):
I would not be shocked by it.
Speaker 4 (09:04):
I'm curious as to I don't think there's anything. I
don't think there's anything that the Celtics can do about it.
And I think that that's why the conversation of Porzingis
getting back by game four has been such a conversation
that makes it a pretty interesting a win for for
(09:25):
the Celtics as well, because you're talking about them getting
out of a game where you know they in theory,
they did not play defense well enough to to to
really pull that game out. I mean, like like coach
Carlisle said, you make you know, a couple a few
few few mistakes that they made that that basically costed them,
(09:50):
you know, the situation that they have. I mean, they
have the better bigs, they have, the better they have,
the better interior defense. I think think that that's going
to be a problem for the Celtics moving forward now
that they're into the series. So there could be that
could be the positive, even though you were so close
(10:10):
to having a victory in hand, that the positives that
you could take away from this game if you're the Pacers,
there are some there are some defined positives for this team.
Speaker 1 (10:20):
What are you based on what happened last night? What
do you guys think is a more likely outcome that
Indiana comes back in game two and wins or Boston
annihilates him in game two, because I think it's the latter.
Speaker 3 (10:31):
Oh yeah, you're also an old school Celtics.
Speaker 1 (10:34):
No, not at all, not even close.
Speaker 3 (10:35):
Stop you are, just admit it.
Speaker 1 (10:37):
You know, you know I'm a Pacers fan. You know that,
all right. I've got a debt left shrimp tattoo, all right,
and I've got a Rick Schmid's jersey in my car
right now.
Speaker 3 (10:47):
Oh, the Dunky Dutchman.
Speaker 1 (10:49):
Duh, of course you do.
Speaker 5 (10:51):
I mean, come on, there's a guy that has on
the side of his car down where I live, the Dutchman,
and it's it's like he's like a realtor, but he's
got a play from the side of his car. And well,
I always think of the dunking Dutchman every time I
see him, because I only know two Dutchmen.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
One's a realer, one's the dunking Dutchman.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
That's it. Those are the only two. Yeah, I just
I look at it and I think that was that
was the one they needed to get. And I think
we're gonna look back at the end of this series
about it, probably about Game four. I'm gonna, well, I'm
gonna say, look at about game four, You're gonna look
back at game one and go, had that one gone
(11:30):
the way it should have gone.
Speaker 3 (11:31):
This is a.
Speaker 1 (11:32):
Completely different series. I think that was demoralizing For.
Speaker 5 (11:34):
This I feel like it's gonna be a little tighter. Actually,
I think this is gonna be a really good series.
I thought last night's game, if you just kind of
watched it throughout for the first half to second half,
it felt like it was gonna be tight. It felt
like and LeVar kind of touched on it, I think,
and talking about just the interior of Boston. They're gonna
have a tough time matching up with the bigs of
the Pacers.
Speaker 3 (11:54):
And I don't know.
Speaker 5 (11:56):
I just I think I don't think this game's, this
series is gonna get away necessarily. I think it's to
be some really competitive basketball every single night, every single
game we see. I think it's going to be competitive
between these two teams. A right, So I differ a
little bit in that suns Lee.
Speaker 1 (12:09):
Can we chalk this down then? Just so we're clear here,
Brady and LeVar both think Indiana is going to win
this series. I'll take Boston.
Speaker 4 (12:17):
I didn't say that I think they're gonna win it,
but I think I think Boston is going to have
some if if Siakam and Turner continue to put the
heat on them and pressure them the way that they
did last night. Offensively, I'm certain. I'm certain that the
Pacers are going to make this a very very interesting series,
(12:41):
like a nail biting series, because they just don't have it.
The Celtics just don't have it in the paint.
Speaker 3 (12:48):
Well, it's that.
Speaker 5 (12:49):
And I also think I don't know that Tatum's gonna
go off again for thirty six points. I'll just kind
of put I just I don't think they're going to
allow that to happening. I actually thought the Pacers were
defensively like pretty darn good throughout the next series. Maybe
maybe we chalk that up to the Knicks kind of
just at the end not having enough gas, not having
enough guys.
Speaker 3 (13:06):
To be able to go.
Speaker 5 (13:07):
But I think defensively they'll be better the next time around,
and I think they'll limit some of Tatum be able
to put up that many points. Holiday obviously had had
a good game as well. But yeah, I just I
think I think it's gonna be a good series. It's
gonna be fun. Man, this is I feel bad because
I feel like it's it's come to the you know,
conference finals on both sides for me to feel this
(13:29):
way about it. And maybe it's just the excitement of
having new teams involved and some of the young stars
involved and someone's gonna emerge as kind of like that
maybe that next guy in the future for the NBA.
But I'm excited about where we're at, Like I think
it's a good spot for us from a just a
competitive viewing standpoint moving forward. I will say this on
a completely side note, to all this. As I read
(13:50):
through articles on different websites, I think too many places
they've got like AI doing editing or something like I'm
reading an article now it says, you know, McVeigh is
keeping Matthew Stafford contact issue in house. Okay, he's not
having an issue with his contacts. It's not like something's
falling out. And then there's some you know, big story
behind that it's a contract issue. There was another thing
(14:13):
I was reading on another website had like it was
like something about a contract straight straight instead of a
second straight year, just said straight straight year. I don't
know what's happening, but I feel like we're like chopping
away editors and people who would look at the website
and go, well, that's not right.
Speaker 3 (14:29):
We need to make that change.
Speaker 1 (14:30):
Yeah, that's happening. It's you know, and that's a good
thing about here, Like when Lee sends out tweets for us,
like nobody's ever taken out of context, nobody's ever misquoted,
nobody's ever like.
Speaker 3 (14:41):
All that's job, Actually.
Speaker 1 (14:43):
Do that accurate? No, it's you know, but it's easier
he's here, so we'll just.
Speaker 3 (14:48):
You know, pin it on Lee.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
He gets all it correct, which is why I think,
you know, we've got to clear this uply. Brady and
Lebar have the pacers in five. I don't want to
just want to make that clear. I So we're on
the record this, so there we go.
Speaker 3 (15:02):
Not sure.
Speaker 1 (15:02):

Yeah, people are People love it?
Speaker 1 (16:40):
Did I see some guy cut it? Some guy cut
his own mullet in response to yours?
Speaker 9 (16:45):
It seems that way.
Speaker 10 (16:46):
It seems that he and taking a shot at you
guys at the same time. Uh yeah, I couldn't tell
if he cut it in response.
Speaker 1 (16:54):
Or what do we I thought we were complimentary.
Speaker 3 (16:57):
How do we get hit for this? He said?
Speaker 9 (17:00):
He said, you're the real rock show. You're the real
rock star of the show.
Speaker 3 (17:05):
Lapp. Why is that a hit for us? You can
still get a rockstar.
Speaker 5 (17:08):
We could still be along for the rod, right, Well,
I agree negative way of looking at it.
Speaker 9 (17:13):
I Hey, I agree with you.
Speaker 5 (17:14):
Lee's the band member that, like, you know, we hit
it big and then he breaks off and does sol album.
Speaker 1 (17:19):
He's just justin Timberlake.
Speaker 3 (17:21):
Yeah, and the problem is he's gonna fall flat on
his face.
Speaker 9 (17:23):
Ah No, it's very true.
Speaker 5 (17:25):
Mostly from probably partying too much.
Speaker 9 (17:29):
Just wait, just wait for the Lap by Lap podcast.
Speaker 1 (17:32):
Yeah, you tune in subscribe a lot of happenings in NASCAR.
So there it is with Lee, the lap in his hair.
It is two pros and a cup of Joe Fox Sports.
Speaker 3 (17:41):
Radio, the real rock star of the show.
Speaker 10 (17:45):
Okay, I'm sorry, you were just pointing out the same
tweet we got.
Speaker 9 (17:51):
I'm sorry, good brother, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (17:53):
It's all good man. You and Jonas, I mean me
and huge his hair for support.
Speaker 1 (17:58):
That's right, Yeah, that's right.
Speaker 3 (18:00):
No, I hear you good.
Speaker 1 (18:01):
Yeah, because when we go out to do remotes like
it's me and.
Speaker 5 (18:04):
People are asking and I are the longer leg of
the tripod. But that's fine, that is true.
Speaker 9 (18:09):
A little lopsided.
Speaker 1 (18:10):
Yeah, it's not saying much well. Coming up twenty minutes
from now from the tiraq dot com studios, we're gonna
tell you how the NFL takeover continues. They are taken
over and they're taken over elsewhere. We've got that for
you again. Twenty minutes from now here on FSR, Aaron
Rodgers is about ready to take over the NFL. You
got a lot of haters out there, a lot of
(18:31):
people that are disrespecting the legacy and career of Aaron Rodgers,
most notably LeVar Arrington. That will not stand here on
this show, all right, that will not stand. And Aaron Rodgers,
he spoke. He was brutally honest, not only about what
this season could look like if it doesn't go well
again afterwards, and whether or not the rumors of being
(18:54):
a VP were legitimate. Let's take a listen.
Speaker 11 (18:57):
If I don't do what I know I'm capable of
doing it. We're all probably gonna be out of here.
So I like that kind of pressure. Though it's a
tough market to play and it's not for everybody realist
that opportunity.
Speaker 2 (19:08):
How seriously things get obviously having.
Speaker 3 (19:16):
Yeah, I love Bobby.
Speaker 11 (19:17):
We had a couple of really nice conversations, but there
were really two options. It was retire and be his
VP or keep playing. And I want to keep playing.
Speaker 1 (19:29):
That's called commitment.
Speaker 3 (19:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (19:32):
I also love when people flex on people and say Bobby,
you know Bobby, Like, uh, yeah, I talked to Jony,
you know, I talked to var.
Speaker 3 (19:42):
You know, like when you're referring to people who are like, well,
who are you talking about Bobby? Bobby? Bobby had a
few options with yeah, Bobby.
Speaker 1 (19:51):
I'll call him, I call you Brayden sometimes. Who's that.
I don't worry about it. You're not in the No.
Speaker 3 (19:57):
You've never called me that ever. Yeah, you know, can
I ask you that's a question. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (20:03):
He says we're all allowed to hear if this doesn't
work out, and I think that that's very accurate. My
question would be him saying that's pressure, and I like
that pressure. Is that pressure for Aaron Rodgers at this
point in his career where we know he's at the
(20:24):
end of his career. His body of work is solidified,
his Hall of Fame, candidacy is solidified, everything is solidified.
I mean, is it really pressure and if so, what
what would the pressure be?
Speaker 5 (20:39):
Yeah, I think the pressure to win, the pressure to
prove you know that Green Bay moved on from him
before they should have or trying to. I mean, I
think the MVP has proved that, maybe to a degree,
but there's also still that opportunity to get back at
some of the folks he had disagreements with there in
Green Bay. I think it's to proved doubters wrong, you know,
(21:00):
people who don't think he's going to be able to
play at high level or win a super Bowl at
this point. I think what's interesting too about just the decision,
the potential chance of it is. And I don't want
this to come off as like a shot at Robert Kennedy. Okay,
I have a lot of respect for anyone who puts
their name in that ring where the running as.
Speaker 3 (21:21):
A candidate, but the reality is he's probably not.
Speaker 5 (21:25):
And this is more is from pulling than anything else
going to be able to compete for the presidency. So
let's say it was you know, current President Joe Biden.
Let's say it was Donald Trump, whoever that that's we're
a two party system. Let's say it was more of
a legitimate candidate in the sense of how our country
(21:46):
is basically operated, that asked him to be VP. Would
that have changed things, you know, in regards to if
that individual had more of a legitimate shot. And again,
I'm not this isn't like trying to take a shot
at Robert Kennedy.
Speaker 3 (22:00):
I'm not.
Speaker 5 (22:00):
I I you know, it seems like a good guy
is this is a political conversation. It's just more of
if the chances were if you look at the odds,
if we're making odds makers of him winning the presidency,
he's not probably gonna win it. It's probably gonna be
Joe Biden or Donald Trump. And if one of those
two had asked him to I wonder if that would
have been more enticing. Right, It's like if someone asks
(22:21):
you to do something, but you're like, yeah, they probably
don't have a good chance of this happening. You know,
it's not as tough of a conversation because this only
comes around every four years, and in this instance, you know,
he'd probably be done playing. I guess if he wants
to be a VP candidate he can at that point.
Speaker 3 (22:40):
But I just that was kind of what ran through.
Speaker 5 (22:42):
My head, was, all right, well, if you know Robert
Kennedy said no to it was if it was someone
else who's maybe gonna have a better chance of winning
the presidency, what would you have said then?
Speaker 3 (22:50):
Mmm.
Speaker 1 (22:52):
He also talked about, you know, the pressure, and you know,
I like it. You know what everyone sees where we're at,
and you know if I'm not if I don't perform,
I'm going to be out of here and all that. Well,
we've seen that once. It happened in Green Bay and
the guy won two m vps. So and I would
argue that, you know, you can make a real argument
(23:12):
that maybe the defense is better in New York that
he's been because the defense has kept him in games,
and there is talent there. It's not like it's just
him and a bunch of nobody's on the roster. Like
there is talent there. That's why I think it's gonna work.
And my big question is, you know, if they make
the playoffs, like if if it's super Bowl or bust,
if it's you've got to win a super Bowler outs,
(23:32):
the whole thing is considered.
Speaker 3 (23:35):
Has clearly stated a super Bowl or bust.
Speaker 1 (23:37):
How realistic is that? With Patrick? With Patrick Mahomes still
you know, sick, still alive.
Speaker 3 (23:46):
I don't think it's realistic at all. He just doesn't
believe it.
Speaker 1 (23:52):
Well, you hate him so much far, it's.
Speaker 3 (23:55):
Like Tiger Woods going on there. I don't hate Tiger either.
I don't hate him.
Speaker 1 (24:02):
Is it Robert Salah Halla?
Speaker 3 (24:06):
I don't hate him.
Speaker 5 (24:08):
That's what they first told me. When they're like, I
forget I was doing something. They're like, hey, you pronounce
his name like Halla, that's how you pronounce sal.
Speaker 3 (24:17):
I was like, oh okay, I was like.
Speaker 1 (24:18):
Hallo solo shot collar.
Speaker 12 (24:24):
Rams owning Paula, How wet me a bed?
Speaker 3 (24:38):
Way?
Speaker 1 (24:45):
So so I mean listen, uh. While some of us
may not be the most confident in the New York
Jets and Aaron Rodgers' ability to come back, by the way,
no restrictions, he's back to. He's slinging it, slinging the football,
can still throw.
Speaker 3 (24:58):
It with it was slinging it last year.
Speaker 4 (25:00):
Wow, Well everybody thought he was just like they y'all
believed he was.
Speaker 3 (25:04):
Going to come back and play last year. You know,
he was slinging it then oh.
Speaker 5 (25:08):
Practice, Yeah, Jonas kept by it into that. Do you
remember that was like a topic of conversation I run
down for like five weeks.
Speaker 1 (25:14):
Yes, well, whether or not Rogers comes back.
Speaker 3 (25:16):
Yes, well to you when Rogers was coming back.
Speaker 1 (25:19):
Yeah, because I thought the Jets were going to be
in contention.
Speaker 3 (25:22):
Yeah, you thought it's easy to do after the fact,
isn't it.
Speaker 1 (25:26):
I thought I didn't know they were gonna, you know,
crap in their hands and wipe their face with it.
Speaker 4 (25:30):
Don't worry if they go to the Super Bowl next year,
you know, I'll sit there and say I thought that
they wasn't.
Speaker 3 (25:36):
That will be a fun conversation.
Speaker 5 (25:38):
Yeah, but you all you can hair look at a
bar and be like, well here we are.
Speaker 4 (25:44):
Come see us on media row because you got too,
I believe, and y'all you got one that didn't.
Speaker 3 (25:49):
That's all. Come come on over, five, come on over.
Speaker 4 (25:54):
I mean you still have time to get some sleep
after you've done doing the interviews, So come on through. Yeah,
we'll have that like we're going to get in the
way of your practices or your meeting time or anything
like that. It's a it's a good time slot for
you to come come chop it up with us, you know.
Speaker 1 (26:10):
By the way Lee in Vegas and then New Orleans
and back to back years.
Speaker 3 (26:15):
Yeah, it's gonna be nice two years stretch for Lee.
Think about it.
Speaker 5 (26:20):
Yeah, Dublin, Ireland to Vegas then the New Orleans. I mean,
he's he's like a pirate. It's almost like you're stealing
out there, right Jonas.
Speaker 9 (26:27):
My liver's hurting just thinking about it.
Speaker 1 (26:30):
No, it's not. You know, what are you dying about?
Speaker 3 (26:34):
Lee?
Speaker 1 (26:35):
This is what you trained for.
Speaker 9 (26:36):
That's true.
Speaker 1 (26:37):
Like this way you this way you list all them weights.
This is why you do all those reps. That's what
you trained for. But but there's your your quick positive
update and outlook on the New York Jets and Aaron Rodgers.
They get set for the upcoming season. It is two
pros and a cup of Joe here on Fox Sports Radio.
Coming up next here from those Tirack dot com studios,

Sports Radio.
Speaker 3 (27:23):
Wow music right there?
Speaker 4 (27:27):
All right, I'll start talking like this when I hear
music like that makes me feel good. I changed the
picture my voice. Yeah, I changed my draw because I
sure I am a country boy.
Speaker 3 (27:38):
Yeah that's right.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
Belt buckles, cowboy hats and pickup trucks.
Speaker 4 (27:42):
Can't wait? Man, y'all doing a clock? Some y'all doing
uh Cheyenne Frontier days.
Speaker 3 (27:49):
With me this year? Are you doing about to do it?
Speaker 5 (27:54):
Jonas told me if he goes out there, he's gonna
wear a belt buck of the size of a Captain
America's shield.
Speaker 1 (27:58):
Oh you better believe it. It's gonna cover everything.
Speaker 3 (28:01):
I'm being serious. You're gonna do it? Are you down for?
Speaker 1 (28:04):
Yeah? Of course?
Speaker 3 (28:06):
All right?
Speaker 1 (28:07):
Come on like you do. Like you see the way
I dress, I'm perfect for Wyoming perfect. And I've got
the truck. I've got the throwback vintage truck. You guys
don't have that.
Speaker 3 (28:18):
I'll have the truck, get the IP treatment. But you're
your get up. Your attire is not up to par.
Speaker 1 (28:25):
What a leather jacket and sweatpants doesn't fly out there
in Wyoming.
Speaker 4 (28:28):
That doesn't work well. I mean, if you have some
cowboy boots and the cowboy hat.
Speaker 5 (28:33):
Maybe all I know, man, is if you keep dressed
up like a vampire, someone's gonna shoot you out there.
Speaker 3 (28:37):
Something We'll like.
Speaker 1 (28:40):
You're kind out here?
Speaker 3 (28:41):
Son, whoagul somewhere else? Now?
Speaker 1 (28:45):
Whoa you ain't no Johnny Cash?
Speaker 3 (28:48):
You ain't ain't no Johnny ca.
Speaker 1 (28:51):
Yeah boy you here, leave the pickup truck. Get your
ass on out of here, son.
Speaker 3 (29:01):
Bree tickets to the concerts too, man.
Speaker 1 (29:04):
Make it happen. Uh, two pros and a cup of Joe.

Speaker 3 (29:50):

Speaker 10 (29:52):
Lap Good more than everybody. Good morning, Jona's Good morning Brady,
Good morning le Bar In case you missed this, the
Inn sir, Thank you guys, In case you missed this.
The NFL, Hey Brady. The NFL International Series could be
(30:13):
expanding to the Land down Under. According to Channel nine
News in Melbourne, Australia. If they have their way, there
will be an NFL regular season match played in Melbourne
within the next two years, and it's already been slated
that it would be the LA Rams hosting due to
the proximity of la to Melbourne.
Speaker 3 (30:32):
Yeah, it's not much closer than everywhere else that makes.
Speaker 1 (30:34):
Sense, like Niners, You're out.
Speaker 5 (30:38):
Niners, Chargers, Las Vegas, Arizona, Seattle. Yeah, it's that much closer.
I won Can we not kill up any Toto? Like Loreno,
where are we at on this?
Speaker 3 (30:50):
No? No total total apparently not.
Speaker 5 (30:54):
I think this is cool. I love the fact that
they're expanding the game. However, one thing that I feel
like when you watch football in comparison to like a
lot of other sports out there, and then how it's
internationally received.
Speaker 3 (31:08):
Is there's like constant there. You go, well, not the
song we're looking.
Speaker 1 (31:12):
For, looking for musical, it's Lee's entrance music.
Speaker 3 (31:23):
Anyway.
Speaker 5 (31:24):
I was just gonna say, I I feel like sometimes
other places don't like they're used to rugby there, used
to soccer there, used to these other sports that are
constantly in motion.
Speaker 3 (31:33):
There's not like breaks in between plays.
Speaker 5 (31:35):
And that is one thing that when you talk to
people who are from different parts of the world, they're like, yeah,
I like it, but and that's usually their complain about it.
Speaker 1 (31:43):
So, I mean, how many Australian players are there in
the NFL? Tory Taylor and who else? I mean, you know,
so like just make sure you say send a team
over that's got some assies. You know, maybe you'll you'll
go half half capacity for one.
Speaker 3 (32:01):
Of those games.
Speaker 5 (32:01):
By the way, I think I was thinking of the
Men at Work. I think that's the song I was thinking.
Speaker 3 (32:06):
Of down Under.
Speaker 1 (32:06):
Oh, we can't play either on the podcast, so it's fine,
doesn't matter.
Speaker 3 (32:09):
You can't play Men at Work. No hit you with
Toto though, to Africa. I'm with you right now. That
was our stop. Our stop was at Africa.
Speaker 1 (32:24):
What else we got late?
Speaker 9 (32:25):
By the way, uh, lee story here. I used to
party at the house of Toto drummer.
Speaker 1 (32:30):
Oh gosh, I'm so sorry on this crap.
Speaker 3 (32:33):
Just so you know. You say party, what kind of party?
Speaker 9 (32:35):
Like house parties by like high school house parties.
Speaker 3 (32:38):
Oh so it's not like you were friends with the drummer.
Speaker 9 (32:40):
No, I was not with his son.
Speaker 1 (32:43):
Was the drummer around.
Speaker 9 (32:44):
No, he had passed away.
Speaker 3 (32:46):
Would you guys play Toto while you guys party?
Speaker 9 (32:48):
No, we would not.
Speaker 3 (32:50):
No, we would not. I mean both have mullets. Uh
you know what.
Speaker 9 (32:55):
He might have had a mold at some point.
Speaker 3 (32:56):
Yeah, why wouldn't you play Toto? He'd be like, it's
not a respect.
Speaker 9 (33:01):
Yeah, who knows.
Speaker 3 (33:02):
I don't know.
Speaker 9 (33:02):
It's a little weird. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (33:04):
So so the drummer, the drummer was dead, you went
to go party at the house. Did you break into
his liquor cabinet like you did your grandma's.
Speaker 9 (33:14):
I think I did.
Speaker 3 (33:15):
Oh Jesus.
Speaker 1 (33:21):
Literally reads the obituaries to go, oh.
Speaker 3 (33:24):
What are they?
Speaker 1 (33:24):
What do they got over there?
Speaker 9 (33:25):
It's a good stuff.
Speaker 3 (33:30):
Africa. They got some bangers?
Speaker 1 (33:36):
What else we got? Lee?
Speaker 9 (33:38):
What else do we have?
Speaker 3 (33:39):
All Right?
Speaker 10 (33:40):
Penn State is spending over seven hundred million dollars to
make out to make your stadium look significantly worse. A
lot of people are upset at the new renderings of
the UH, the new UH possible stadium for Beaver Stadium.
Speaker 1 (33:55):
Wow, what are your thoughts on this? Bar? You need
more time? Should we save this for top next hour?
Speaker 3 (34:00):
I want to know who these people are.
Speaker 10 (34:01):
Yeah, well they say it. It's making it look like
a new state of the art stadium. It looks a
lot like Lecas Oil Stadium. And people are saying that
it should look historic, it should feel historic, and should
fit the town that they're built to live in.
Speaker 3 (34:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (34:16):
I just want to know who these people are because
I haven't heard that from the people I know. So
I'm just curious who these people are.
Speaker 3 (34:24):
I'm trying to look for renderings. I can only see
like there's only one.
Speaker 4 (34:28):
It's really only one of the outside, and that's probably
what Lee's referencing. But it looks again, I'm curious, who
are these people?
Speaker 6 (34:38):
You know?
Speaker 5 (34:39):
Hey, all I have to say is it looks nice.
It's a big stadium renovation. The fans should be excited
about it. And you don't want that thing collapsing on you.
Speaker 3 (34:47):
All right, It needed it has needed renov thank you.
Que See.
Speaker 4 (34:51):
If I say it to those who whoever these people are,
they see it as oh, LeVar is always defending.
Speaker 3 (34:58):
Oh I'm glad you hit it.
Speaker 5 (35:00):
I mean, I've been there enough to know, like there's
a lot of people in that thing. It starts to
sway a little bit like maybe some reinforcements, Like I
think a seven hundred million dollar renovation sounds about right.
Speaker 4 (35:10):
Before open by the way, and keep in mind, keep
in mind that the playoff series is going to home teams.
Oh yeah, so let's have let's feel good about when
we welcome people in it when we make it to
the playoffs.
Speaker 3 (35:25):
Like heavy Valley hosting one league Lee.
Speaker 1 (35:28):
Does it say where they're putting Matt mcgloin's statue in
the new stadium or I haven't seen the.
Speaker 3 (35:34):
North Trustees now israt's Matt? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (35:37):
Well, whatever you did, they're pissed off about apparently.
Speaker 3 (35:40):
Apparently because they approved it.
Speaker 1 (35:42):
You know, the people aren't happy with this new stadium.
They want to hearken back to the good old day.
Speaker 3 (35:47):
Yeah, joice, what new stadium is being renovated for you? Buddy?
Speaker 1 (35:50):
What are you talking about? You haven't seen Hawaii's new
new renderings. No, they're going to resurrec a Loha stadium.
Speaker 3 (35:57):
Yeah? Is that the true?
Speaker 1 (36:00):
No? Come on, man, please, that's been condemned. Yeah, that's
that's not not a place anybody wants to watch games.
But screw you. Pretty mean to tell me I couldn't
set up some in my backyard.
Speaker 3 (36:13):
Nope,
