Be, so LeVar, I got an idea.
Speaker 5 (01:16):
Just throwing it out there, all right, throw it out there.
Speaker 3 (01:18):
So the thanks well, because I think you can get
in on this as well too. As far as our
support for you sticks. Yeah, I mean it should be unsaid,
you know. I think I think we should all be
on the same page here. I think, okay that twenty
twenty six, the NFL Draft going to Pittsburgh, your old
(01:39):
stomping grounds, we should go well, I'm think, yeah, well
that of course, but I'm also thinking you going back
to the Berg and announcing the pick for the Washington Commandos.
I think that's the move you want to do. First
round pick, second round pick, whatever it is. They'll probably
be picking highly there based on recent history. The point is,
(02:02):
I think you announcing the pick in your old hometown
in twenty twenty six, as Pittsburgh was awarded the draft,
that's the one that's gonna happen.
Speaker 6 (02:10):
Well, first and foremost, I think it's super awesome that
the draft will be in Pittsburgh. I definitely will go
to that. I mean, that is that sounds very.
Speaker 3 (02:22):
Exciting Plus it's a base baseball season and hockey not
the Penguins are gonna be in the playoffs, but the
hockey season as well too. Lot going on Pittsburgh that time.
Speaker 6 (02:31):
I'll say this, be careful if you're if you're not
from there, let's make sure you stay in the touriste
spots of town.
Speaker 5 (02:41):
Wherever it is you're supposed to be there. Oh well,
I mean, I'm just.
Speaker 3 (02:46):
Saying, is Darrell Reeves and his friend's gonna beat your
ass or something?
Speaker 6 (02:49):
Well, al Equippa is not there. Darrell Reeves isn't from Pittsburgh,
he throws down there. He's wes pa Aloqui from the area. Yeah,
quick Town is a different area that's like forty five
fifty minutes out. But you just, you know, you just
want to be careful. It'll probably be centralized to downtown,
(03:13):
but it'll spill over into being on the north side,
the north shore, the south side, south end, all that stuff.
Probably Mount Washington. It it I think the sound of it,
it sounds tremendous. I mean, I think that that that
will be for sure a fun of fun time. What
(03:34):
what what time of the year.
Speaker 4 (03:36):
April late April usually early man I.
Speaker 5 (03:38):
Mean you're going to move it, so.
Speaker 6 (03:42):
The weather could be a factor, could clip it, it
could could make it not as enjoyable. But if the
weather is good, Pittsburgh is like for something like a draft,
I think that would be phenomenal.
Speaker 4 (03:55):
Man a rated C by the way, I think it's.
Speaker 5 (03:58):
A dope spot.
Speaker 7 (04:00):
I mean, any city that started Batman has to be
pretty badass.
Speaker 6 (04:03):
You know here you go, Yeah it really Michael Keaton
is from Pittsburgh.
Speaker 7 (04:08):
Well not that Batman, but yeah, but that one, not
that one. Some would say he was underrated Batman by
the way. Yeah, that would that would not be me.
I mean I have him solidly number three in my list.
Speaker 4 (04:17):
You got him three? Who's so Christian Bales, Christian.
Speaker 5 (04:21):
Bill clearly clearly the number one?
Speaker 4 (04:24):
Oh you got Ben Affleck too?
Speaker 7 (04:26):
No, No, he's well below Michael Keaton. I have the
original though, oh Adam West. Yeah, okay, I mean I
concept the original. I'm not sure if there's like one
before him, but.
Speaker 4 (04:39):
I would go Keaton too. Really yeah, I would go
Keaton too.
Speaker 7 (04:44):
I just couldn't get over he's not that big though,
you know, he's not that big.
Speaker 5 (04:49):
He's not He's not very big and he is a
great actor. The suit does it for you anyway, right,
I mean I.
Speaker 7 (04:56):
Kind of felt like, though everyone else had around him,
that Batman series made him seem like he was better, right,
I mean Jack Nicholson as the Jokers pretty pretty.
Speaker 5 (05:08):
Much Danny DeVito, right, Yeah, it's the Penguin.
Speaker 7 (05:11):
I mean it was a pretty solid supporting cast.
Speaker 5 (05:15):
Lee.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
What are your Batman rankings? Is it Bail one, Michael
Keaton too, or how do you feel about Keaton's my
number one?
Speaker 4 (05:24):
Yeah? Oh you're going Keaton won baby Bail Well.
Speaker 8 (05:27):
I like the Bail trilogy, the Christopher Nolan trilogy the most,
but not because of Christian Bale.
Speaker 5 (05:33):
We're just asking you for not not the movie.
Speaker 7 (05:35):
We're asking for the character, like who played it the best?
Speaker 8 (05:38):
Yeah, go with Keats, definitely keep moving.
Speaker 4 (05:41):
That's the problem.
Speaker 3 (05:42):
You get into these movie discussions with Cisco and Liebert
and he just takes it down a path.
Speaker 7 (05:50):
Now, I don't even care for his opinion after hearing that, damn,
I'm just.
Speaker 4 (05:53):
Saying bang bang Well.
Speaker 8 (05:56):
Then Adam West is obviously number two.
Speaker 4 (05:58):
That was Brady's. Yeah, I don't.
Speaker 5 (06:01):
Care the fact that he puts Keeno at number one
over Bail.
Speaker 7 (06:04):
Yeah, he's clearly the number one number one base Bill
was not that good.
Speaker 8 (06:10):
I mean, he's a great actor and he's good. I'm
not going to say he's bad, but he was the
weak point in all those movies.
Speaker 5 (06:16):
Dang, that's not really that's the that's the worst thing
you've ever seen.
Speaker 3 (06:20):
I don't know much about movies, but that seems like
a hot take that will surely get some negative pushback.
Speaker 7 (06:27):
The fact that they let you vote on things and
you get to view movies before the rest of.
Speaker 5 (06:31):
The general public is astonishing. After that, do you.
Speaker 3 (06:34):
Think Christian Bale is the weak point of the Christopher
Nolan series, Well, yeah, because it's it's more massiful, it's
centered around him, it's essentially at him.
Speaker 8 (06:44):
It's actually not. That's kind of my point is it's
it's much more you know, obviously The Dark Knight is
much more about Heath Ledger steals the show and in
The Dark Knight as the joker.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
I know what's going on here.
Speaker 3 (06:57):
You think the best part of those trilogies is more
Morgan Freeman, don't you.
Speaker 4 (07:01):
Well.
Speaker 8 (07:01):
Morgan Freeman is great. Yeah, his supporting cast is so
much stronger than Christian Bale's is he's one note he's not.
He doesn't have as good of an arc. And Michael
Keaton is just great. I mean when I think of Batman,
I think of Michael Keaton.
Speaker 7 (07:13):
Ye particularly said no one you literally cannot actually believe that.
Speaker 8 (07:20):
That is what I believe. Also, maybe it's just the
era I grew up in, or George Clooney I even
think of sometimes more than I think.
Speaker 4 (07:28):
You're losing all credibility because.
Speaker 8 (07:32):
Val Kilmer is Actually I would put Val Kilmer over above.
Speaker 4 (07:35):
Christ because George Clooney makes tequila. You put him over.
Speaker 5 (07:39):
And don't have Christian nothing else.
Speaker 4 (07:41):
Now, Oh my god, I don't.
Speaker 5 (07:43):
Even need to talk now.
Speaker 8 (07:45):
Well, hey, and the book hasn't been written on Robert
Pattinson yet. I think he hasn't. I'm just saying it
hasn't been written yet.
Speaker 7 (07:54):
He's still got to fuel the dirt being shoveled on
your face as you're getting buried alive.
Speaker 6 (07:59):
Still to myself, I'm with you, I'm with you, Lee.
Speaker 8 (08:04):
Well, of course I still stand by that Christian bale
Or has the best movie people man the best movies.
I'm just not the strongest Batman.
Speaker 7 (08:13):
Okay, outside outside of Keith Fletcher.
Speaker 5 (08:19):
Who else are you saying? Was a great supporting cat.
Speaker 8 (08:23):
Uh Arquette Anthony who played two face Uh.
Speaker 4 (08:27):
Gary Oldman, Gary Oldman saw it and.
Speaker 8 (08:29):
Everything though they changed uh they changed what's her face?
Chilling Hall to uh, what's her face?
Speaker 7 (08:35):
Yeah, which struggled, right. I mean I would say I'll
take Michelle Pfeiffer over get chilling All yeah mm hmm.
And then don't I'm sorry, dude, I don't think it's
even comparable.
Speaker 8 (08:46):
And then don't forget about Will Arnett as Lego Batman
is a great Batman.
Speaker 4 (08:51):
Jesus, what are you talking about? Lego Batman?
Speaker 8 (08:54):
That's a deep cut Lego Batman, Will Arnett, He's fantastic.
It's it's more of a parody.
Speaker 5 (08:58):
But it's just I don't. I know they don't do
this and they screen Actors Guild.
Speaker 7 (09:02):
But someone needs to slap you, way like someone needs
to come up on stage and just Will Smith slap you.
Speaker 8 (09:10):
And then George Clooney with the nipples is great.
Speaker 4 (09:12):
Hold on a second, whoa hold on? Lee?
Speaker 3 (09:16):
The guy was a stack of toys and you're putting
him ahead of Christian Bale.
Speaker 8 (09:22):
I love Christian be Batman. I love Christian Bale. Batman
is not my favorite.
Speaker 3 (09:27):
Okay, what if it was Lincoln Logs in the shape
of a batman? Is that still ahead of Christian Bale
or is it just.
Speaker 4 (09:33):
Like it's just as what?
Speaker 8 (09:34):
And of a performance?
Speaker 3 (09:35):
What a disgusting take by Lee? What a disgusting take?
Speaker 5 (09:39):
Eddie?
Speaker 3 (09:39):
How can you applaud this? And is a Pittsburgh guy?
How can you applaud this?
Speaker 5 (09:45):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (09:46):
Because he's right, you don't like Christian Bale.
Speaker 9 (09:48):
I love christ I agree with almost everything he said.
I love Christian Bale as an actor. He's a better
actor than any other actor that's played that way. But
in that role, he was just eh.
Speaker 5 (09:58):
That man is such bad pinions. That's wait and if
you want to.
Speaker 7 (10:04):
Here's how awfully is Val Kimer was want of the nipples.
Speaker 5 (10:07):
It wasn't George Cloth. I'm looking at the picture of
Val Kilmer right now.
Speaker 8 (10:12):
Cloney was the one who was famous for Yeah, both
of them had it, but Clooning was.
Speaker 5 (10:15):
One more famous than the other because people talked about him.
Speaker 4 (10:18):
Yeah, I don't know why. Alright, let me look this.
Speaker 5 (10:20):
We talked about Val Kilmer's nipplesarently not Well, how we're
talking about him out all right?
Speaker 4 (10:26):
Let me, all right, let me look this up.
Speaker 7 (10:28):
I'm looking at a photo of him and it does
not include nipples in this one.
Speaker 8 (10:32):
I think it did change because of the different movies.
Speaker 5 (10:36):
But just thing.
Speaker 7 (10:37):
And by the way, Val Kilmer came before George Clooney,
Christopher christ.
Speaker 5 (10:45):
How's that?
Speaker 4 (10:45):
Phil Palkow?
Speaker 8 (10:48):
And if you want to talk to the real nerds
out there, be animated those nipples and smoke it a.
Speaker 5 (10:55):
Like, how do those nipples feel?
Speaker 9 (10:57):
You'll tell me, Man, you're the one looking at pictures
of it.
Speaker 5 (11:00):
E I can't stop looking at it.
Speaker 4 (11:04):
Just could get together in the right.
Speaker 7 (11:07):
I just I remember my childhood and I don't remember
anyone talking about Batman's nipples throughout my childhood. So apparently
I missed the nineteen ninety five valcoma version and the
Batman and Roberts series in ninety seven with the nipple talk.
Speaker 8 (11:19):
There was a lot of discussion about the Yeah, I'm
just stunned.
Speaker 5 (11:24):
I always back to my original point.
Speaker 6 (11:26):
Not to jump on you, Jonas, but Christopher Reeves is
the best out of all of them, because he's the
only one that didn't use a muscle suit.
Speaker 4 (11:34):
That Superman Superman.
Speaker 5 (11:36):
I don't care.
Speaker 6 (11:37):
I'm saying we're talking about nipples and suits and did
it better? Is just saying Christopher Reeves is the only
one that used his own body outside of the original Batman,
which his bat his body was super bad. That the
TV show Batman, it was super bad. I'm just saying,
Christopher Reeves man shouts out Superman and not even with
the Dark Knight and.
Speaker 8 (11:58):
Ben affleck the worst, the Worstang, do you need to
break the new sound around that Eddy to let everybody do?
Speaker 9 (12:06):
I mean you have to shout pretty loud for him.
Speaker 4 (12:08):
Me hear that SHOWE.
Speaker 5 (12:11):
Shouts out the Christopher Reeves. Is it Reeves a Reed
Reeves Reeves Reeves? Yeah? Dang something he gone?
Speaker 8 (12:21):
He he Didang.
Speaker 5 (12:23):
He's walking Boss Hall.
Speaker 4 (12:25):
Jeez, tang damn.
Speaker 9 (12:29):
That kind of cool though, Jonahs right, if your Superman's
walking your dog, it's pretty I want to.
Speaker 3 (12:33):
Walk him, like, not not now, but all right now,
But I don't want anybody else going near him to mine.
Speaker 4 (12:40):
For God's sakes, sapped.
Speaker 5 (12:43):
Up to heaven. He's walking, I wanted to skeleton up there.
Or is he like Boss Hall? He is a two
hundred seventy five pounds skeleton.
Speaker 4 (12:54):
Again with the embellishment.
Speaker 5 (12:55):
You know, I busy puppy.
Speaker 6 (12:57):
Is he a two hundred and seventy five pound puppy
or is he a full grown?
Speaker 5 (13:00):
Is he an adult? Like? What is he up there?
Speaker 3 (13:03):
We've talked about this, and you know at his peak
he was four hundred and ten pounds and you know that.
But again I've got it for some reason, like dumb
down the numbers and try and pretend like none of
that was legitimate. And I'm tired of it, all right.
I'm tired of him being misrepresented. And if you are
up in heaven, if anybody else goes near, you tell
(13:23):
him to stay away.
Speaker 5 (13:24):
So am I hearing this? Right? Though?
Speaker 7 (13:26):
Lee basically is discounting Christian Bale as Batman because he
had because no, because he's so good in other roles.
So now he's saying that at the like, you can't
differentiate or separate his Batman persona from his other roles.
Speaker 5 (13:40):
So he gets that supports whatever it is that he said.
Speaker 7 (13:43):
He's usually the voice of reason, like he's the I
trust me, I would in most cases. This has blown
my mind, though, That's why I'm asking the question. Is
this because you think he's such a good actor that
in this role, it wasn't a great role for him.
Speaker 5 (13:57):
So you're knocking him down a peg.
Speaker 9 (13:59):
Well, how else would you judge his performance than how
he does in that role.
Speaker 7 (14:03):
I would say his performance in that role is better
than every other Batman that's been in that role, regardless
of what he's done in other movies where he's been
a much better role, better actor.
Speaker 8 (14:12):
In I just simply prefer Michael Keaton. I appreciate Christian
Bell as Batman. I liked him as Batman.
Speaker 5 (14:18):
I mean, we know you don't have the hots for
Kim Bason here. We know that, all right, Yes, how
do we know that for pressure?
Speaker 4 (14:26):
Because he's got an HD TV.
Speaker 5 (14:28):
What do you mean?
Speaker 3 (14:29):
Yeah, he's he's got it. He's got a TV and
it shows everything.
Speaker 5 (14:32):
This has got to.
Speaker 6 (14:33):
Be one of the most awkward conversations we've ever had in.
Speaker 5 (14:36):
The history of this show.
Speaker 4 (14:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (14:38):
But you know what, Uh, we've even touched on on nipples.
Speaker 4 (14:43):
Yeah, there's that as well too.
Speaker 5 (14:45):
Well.
Speaker 4 (14:45):
I mean, look, you know the NFL.
Speaker 5 (14:46):
Dress I put in the group chat.
Speaker 7 (14:48):
There's no nipples in the George Clooney shot that I
just send you, guys, said No, that's what I'm saying.
Speaker 5 (14:53):
It looks like hands though, hands on his chest, and I.
Speaker 8 (14:57):
Mean I'm looking at it. I see I see them
loud and c here Yang the.
Speaker 5 (15:02):
One I sent you, I didn't see that on You
got good focused lye nipples on the picture. You got
a good nipple detector.
Speaker 8 (15:10):
I think you great has moved over to check out
the nipples.
Speaker 5 (15:13):
Of course there's no nipples in the photo.
Speaker 8 (15:17):
Yeah, yeah, what the one you sent Brady is one
that was never in the movie.
Speaker 4 (15:26):
That was that was like I was showing you what
that was.
Speaker 8 (15:28):
That was some promo photo that wasn't That wasn't even
cost you more than the movie.
Speaker 7 (15:32):
I just think it's disrespectful that Val Kilmore had the
nipples first and you didn't give them any You didn't
pay any attention.
Speaker 4 (15:37):
To Val as awkward.
Speaker 5 (15:39):
Awkward? Why because they're a lower place in the chest.
How are we going to fine this?
Speaker 8 (15:43):
Not as pointy?
Speaker 4 (15:44):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (15:45):
My god, all right, listen, two pros and a cup
of Joe here on Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 5 (15:50):
Thank you, John.
Speaker 3 (15:51):
That's gonna that's going to conclude our coverage of the
twenty twenty six NFL Draft going to Pittsburgh.
Speaker 4 (15:56):
Thank you, so we will have more on that.
Speaker 5 (15:57):
I'm excited about that.
Speaker 7 (15:59):
Anyway, we got them because just the stadiums in the Uh.
Speaker 3 (16:06):
Yeah, all right, so listen, here we go. H coming
up next here though from the tire rack dot Com studios.
If you're still there, Uh, we are going to have
a discussion about somebody in the NFL who got some
bad news last year, but it turned out to be
a blessing.
Speaker 4 (16:25):
You'll hear from him next year. On FSR.
Speaker 2 (16:27):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 10 (16:40):
Pollie Fosco here with Tony Fusco, you know, as the
host of the number one rated Paully and Tony Fusco Show.
Speaker 8 (16:46):
We get tons and tons of fan mail every day.
Speaker 5 (16:49):
Piles of it.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
In fact, Tony, why don't you open up one of
those letters right now and read what's inside?
Speaker 10 (16:53):
Hey, listen to this. Dear Paulie and Tony, your sports
takes the dumbest and most terribly not that why open
this other one Deea, Paulie and Tony, you suck more
than anyone. Wait this one, Dea, Paulie and Tony, you
guys are the absolute best. There you go, coming.
Speaker 8 (17:11):
Up with the stupidest take.
Speaker 10 (17:14):
Get you just listen to the Fall and Tony Fusco
Show on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you
get your podcasts.
Speaker 3 (17:20):
Yeah, it is two pros and a cup of Joe
here on Fox Sports Radio. We are going to hand
out an award for the week coming up here in
a little over twenty minutes around now. In our midweek
awards that we do yesterday that we hand out, We're
going to hand an award to one person specifically in
the world of sports. That'll be yours here again a
little over twenty minutes from now. And yeah, a lot
of listen, a lot of feedback on the Batman discussion,
(17:45):
you know, which took several turns over the last segment.
So maybe at some point we'll readdress those because not
a lot of some people questioning Lee's judgment following following.
Speaker 4 (17:58):
Some of the some of the opinion that he handed.
Speaker 5 (18:00):
Out qushing Lee question Eddie. Eddie went ahead and stamped
his his approval on that one. Supported Lee too. I
support him. I'll throw myself in there years a part
of it.
Speaker 8 (18:09):
And you know what really helped me with the Michael
Keaton choice was his role in The Flash, which not
a lot of people saw it good We're good for
a good reason, where he reprised the role as the Batman,
and that actually kind of sold it for me. Just
just an FYI, just a little tidbit on that.
Speaker 3 (18:23):
Yeah, all right, so you people, man, I don't know
what it is.
Speaker 5 (18:29):
But I love how he got penalized. Anyway, we need
to get off the subject.
Speaker 4 (18:34):
Right, yes, we do. So we do have more from
Aaron Rodgers.
Speaker 3 (18:40):
He was on the Official Jets podcast and he talked
about the setback, the four plays end of the season
achilles injury that took his season from him from the
New York Jets.
Speaker 4 (18:51):
Let's take a listen to ar.
Speaker 11 (18:52):
It was those times being back with the guys, being
in the locker room, being on the sideline that kind
of got me through. And because there there was you know,
there was a tough, a tough year, but so many
beautiful things came out of this that I am thankful
for that only could have happened had things gone down
the way they did. I'm thankful for the lessons I
learned in the process, and hopefully it made me a
(19:13):
better teammate, better person, better quarterback in the long run.
Speaker 3 (19:16):
Yeah, they're gonna win that division. I'm sold now about
you guys. I'll go ahead and place my Jets to
win the AFC far vision right now, go ahead.
Speaker 6 (19:25):
And yeah, I'm not I'm still I'm still sturdy in stats.
Speaker 7 (19:29):
How long into the season will take you or we'll
take the entire regular season?
Speaker 6 (19:34):
Yeah, to take them until they get to double digit wins.
That's that's when now, because I don't think they're they're
going to be a double digit win team.
Speaker 5 (19:41):
So if they won the division at nine and eight,
you wouldn't be like.
Speaker 6 (19:44):
Oh nah, just be like everybody else stinks worse. It's
a stinky division and they they just didn't stink worse
than them.
Speaker 3 (19:57):
I mean having the Patriots, having the Patriots twice does help.
And the fact that Belichick's not there that I think
that helps.
Speaker 5 (20:05):
I always find it underestimate him.
Speaker 7 (20:07):
I always find a contrasting styles two of teams. When they,
you know, draft a rookie quarterback as high as New
England did at number three overall in Drake May. If
you contrast it too, for example, the Bears who just
openly said, like Caleb's our guy.
Speaker 5 (20:21):
He's getting all the reps, all that stuff.
Speaker 7 (20:23):
Even with Washington, I think you're gonna see j Daniels
bad guy, you know, moving forward, Drake May is like
third right now, is with the OTA is taking place
and given with the media notes right now, in practice,
he's gonna like the the third most reps behind Jacoby
Brissette and Bailey Zappi, which great, make him earn it
(20:45):
right over Jacoby and that, but you want to have
spent the pick on him if he's not going to
be the guy.
Speaker 5 (20:51):
So now every rep he's not getting, it's not preparing.
Speaker 7 (20:55):
Him in your team for the season. So it's just
it's always it's always a tough task, I think when
you've got a veteran there. But you know, Jacoby Brissette
hasn't like he was there previously. He hasn't been there
for a series of time where it's like he earned
the right and it's like an Eli Manning Daniel Jones
situation right where you're gonna have Eli be the quarterback,
and so you feel like he's not then maybe you
(21:17):
have the guy going or Aaron Rodgers Jordan Love type
situation like this is entirely different. So it's just it's odd,
Like because when you brought up the point of the
Patriots and how to get their plan m twice a year,
I keep thinking, yeah, and one of the times Jacoby
Brissett might be the quarterback.
Speaker 5 (21:32):
It might not even be draped man. Both times, all
I know is this.
Speaker 6 (21:38):
Good good roster, good talented roster, bad team. And so
to say that, oh, well, it's great that they have
New England and that you know, twice a year, like.
Speaker 4 (21:51):
Why do you have their sounds like that?
Speaker 6 (21:52):
Why it's an MPC. It's an MPC voice. So it's
like I can't. I can't use your voice and sound
it's like me, you know what I mean? So I
got to use an MPC voice, like I learned that
from my kids, an non playable character voice.
Speaker 4 (22:06):
Really you could really play it up though, like how
you think I sound.
Speaker 6 (22:10):
No, it's just NPC voice. It's like the voice I used,
Like it's just different than mine. Like anyway, I just
I don't.
Speaker 5 (22:18):
Still a whole segment of that voice.
Speaker 6 (22:21):
I wouldn't even remember how I did it. I just
think that that's when you're not a good team. You
can't say, well, at least we get to play a
not a good team twice a year, like you're not
a good team.
Speaker 5 (22:36):
I mean, you got a good roster. It looks good.
Speaker 7 (22:38):
I means are listening like this is gonna be interesting
to bring back up during the season.
Speaker 6 (22:42):
I mean, I've been on teams that had great rosters
and we didn't deliver. So I mean, I know this first,
and you can have a loaded roster, it just doesn't
mean doesn't mean that you're going to be guaranteed good results,
and they have not shown that they can get good results.
So I'm skeptical until i'm not. I mean, I'm just
(23:05):
I'm firm on that I don't think that this, this
Aaron Rodgers experiment is going to end well.
Speaker 5 (23:12):
I just don't.
Speaker 3 (23:13):
What about the fact that the rehab and the injury
don't care? Okay, so you don't care that, like you know,
it made him sort of appreciate things differently, that he
it turned into a blessing in disguise, like you never
had that, or you know, you don't feel that way
that this could be.
Speaker 6 (23:29):
I think the salty Aaron Rodgers that existed in Green
Bay that could get MVPs because he was bothered and
pissed off by what was taking place and the disbelief
in him and not not supporting him the way he
wanted to be supported.
Speaker 5 (23:47):
I think he's he's still in Green Bay. I don't
think he's going. I don't.
Speaker 6 (23:51):
I don't think he left green Bay. That's the ghost
of Lambeau. That's not that's not jets, that's not met life, it's.
Speaker 3 (24:00):
Not you know, I have heard from people. I've never
done it, but that lick Toad's or do Ayahuasca or
whatever the hell he did. That It does change you
when you go to that place. Sometimes people come back
and they're a little bit more docile, a little bit
more tame, and so maybe that red ass doesn't exist anymore.
So I could see that, and then I look and
(24:20):
I go, Yeah, but they got the Patriots twice a year,
so I mean, at least at least I know that
I'm going to go back to that every single time.
They're not going to finish last. I think Miami's got
question marks, and who the hell knows of the Bills chan.
Speaker 6 (24:35):
And seem to be trending in a different direction than
the Jets. I look at who's the other Team's New England.
I don't know. I just I know just about as
much about New England as I do about the Jets.
Speaker 5 (24:53):
And then who's the other team? Oh, Buffalo, Buffalo, tell you,
we already know, we already know.
Speaker 6 (24:59):
They've already the ceiling is is, they've hit their head
off the ceiling and their window may have closed, but
their window isn't closed to win that division. So you're
probably gonna have Buffalo at the top, or Miami Miami.
This might be Miami's year to finally get the conference
or they get the division. So you got Miami, then
there's Buffalo, then the next two. Now you're going to
(25:23):
say that between the Jets and the Patriots, that your
firm that the Patriots are going to end up last
behind the Jets.
Speaker 5 (25:32):
You're firm on that.
Speaker 6 (25:33):
In fact, you guys think that the Jets are going
to win the division because Aaron Rodgers is coming back
to the playoffs.
Speaker 7 (25:39):
I do believe, truly believe a healthy Aaron Rodgers on
that roster for the entirety of a seventeen game season,
win's the division and goes to the playoffs.
Speaker 5 (25:48):
Yeah, when's the division and goes to the playoffs. Okay,
it's going to.
Speaker 6 (25:52):
Be interesting because Jets fans was raining down on you
about Zach Wilson, but you sound upbeat about him right now.
Speaker 5 (25:59):
So there you go, everybody, every Jet. This goes back.
Speaker 7 (26:04):
This goes back to the to the you know, discussion
about you know, bring into comments and whatnot. Like I
don't have a bias. I really just try to call
how I see it. And so the whole Zach Wilson
thing was like they're just they thrust at a young
guy in there before he was going to be ready.
I didn't think he was anywhere near to a finished product.
And when you take a guy number two overall, you're
(26:25):
essentially saying like, hey, he's going to start right away.
We feel like he's ready to go. I never felt
like he was that player coming out of college. Now
last year I defended him more because I actually thought
he played some of his best football, even though it
didn't always come with a win.
Speaker 5 (26:40):
And and now he's on a different team.
Speaker 7 (26:41):
He's moved on, and that's you know, maybe Sean Payton
can reinvent him in Denver if he gets an opportunity.
But like I'd never had any Ana Massie towards the Jets,
it was more just like, yeah, I just I don't
think you're gonna be able to compete with it now
with Rogers, completely different story. I mean, I think Aaron's
one of the most talented quarterbacks the league's ever seen,
and so if he could stay healthy, he's gonna be
(27:04):
able to elevate this team to me, to be a
contender in the AFC, no doubt about it, you know,
along with Kansas City and Baltimore and Cincinnati. With Burrow
back healthy, I mean, it's it's no different to me
as far as I think what they're going to be
able to do if he's healthy.
Speaker 3 (27:18):
By the way, if you had the over on seven
thirty am Eastern Time for when the show Charmed would
finally get turned off the TV here in studio, congratulations,
you have won. Seven thirty five Eastern time. Charmed just
now has been turned off the television after being left
on since the TNT postgame show from the NBA game
(27:40):
last night. So rout of applause to everybody, probably the
only people that actually sagn it, what a what a
terrible show. It's got to be one of the worst
shows on television, and for some reason, it's on in
the studio all the time.
Speaker 4 (27:55):
Lorena.
Speaker 3 (27:57):
They got to question the judgment of Lorena, who demands
that it's on multiple TVs.
Speaker 4 (28:01):
Listen. Alyssa Milano looked so great in that episode.
Speaker 3 (28:06):
I couldn't help but take you know she was uh
did you see the shirt she was?
Speaker 4 (28:10):
She was showing everything. She was shown a lot.
Speaker 8 (28:13):
I was waiting to change it for that scene to end.
Speaker 4 (28:15):
Yet better than Batman nipples.
Speaker 5 (28:17):
Lee was on.
Speaker 3 (28:18):
Lee was on Warhead Watch, so he he had priorities.
But nonetheless, we move on. It is two pros and
a cup of Joe here on Fox Sports Radio. Coming
up next here from these tire rack dot Com studios,
we are going to hand out an award.
Speaker 4 (28:31):
Somebody has earned it.
Speaker 3 (28:33):
Somebody wrong, Barry.
Speaker 5 (28:43):
I gotta go to the table peaches or something.
Speaker 4 (28:48):
We are hungry.
Speaker 5 (28:49):
We are hungry for more peach cobbler yep stuff right there,
buddy stuff.
Speaker 4 (28:57):
That's something we can all agree on.
Speaker 5 (29:02):
Like every time you peach conference gets over my face.
You know, I don't have hate for the Jets. Why, like, why.
Speaker 7 (29:09):
Are people you can read the comments. Don't read the comments, man,
don't do it. Don't do it, you.
Speaker 4 (29:16):
Would I do. Just retweet the negative ones.
Speaker 6 (29:18):
If you're before we go to break, if you're a
New York Jets fan, I just want you to sit down.
I just want you to think about one singular thing.
When's the last time you've been good?
Speaker 4 (29:29):
Damn?
Speaker 5 (29:29):
Wow?
Speaker 6 (29:30):
And and then and then if that is me hating you,
if your answer is different from what my answer is,
then I can understand why you think I'm hating.
Speaker 5 (29:43):
Now, that might make you.
Speaker 6 (29:44):
Delusional, but I still would be able to understand why
you think I'm giving hate towards the Jets. But I'm
not giving hate towards the Jets. You guys have had
some really good players. You've guys had opportunities in the
early two thousands, like early like what nine, Okay, that's
(30:06):
still early two thousands, right, sure. I just I haven't
seen them be good in a really long time. So
to say that my trepidation towards them is hate, and
that's insane. It's insane for you to say it. I
just gotta be honest with you. It's insane. For anybody
who thinks what I'm saying is insane and that it's hate,
(30:30):
I'm there's no hate involved, there's no malice involved.
Speaker 5 (30:33):
I have no dog in the fight with the New
York Jets. So so just take a good heart, honest
look at yourself.
Speaker 6 (30:41):
Like are you losing in life yourself to think that
I'm hating on a team that hasn't been good for
a long time?
Speaker 4 (30:48):
Damn?
Speaker 3 (30:50):
Kyle Lee, Like, relax, I mean, what's OLU gonna think
about this?
Speaker 5 (30:57):
Listen?
Speaker 6 (30:57):
That you improved your offensive line by getting them, I
like to pick up. They had the Brick and Shawn Ferguson. Damn,
good player. I mean didn't work, did it? That's pretty
good with the Brickers Shaw.
Speaker 7 (31:13):
Nick Mangold, Nick Mangold, Yeah, I mean the guy and
Santonio Holmes.
Speaker 5 (31:20):
They had Santonio Holmes, they had drell Res, the Hads.
Speaker 4 (31:26):
Oh yeah, Sean Green, Yeah, I.
Speaker 5 (31:32):
Just listen, you're tired.
Speaker 6 (31:34):
They had bart like those teams that were with with Rex.
I mean, they were they were close. They they were competitive.
I wouldn't say they were super Bowl bound, but they
were competitive much more. They were much more competitive then well, yeah,
I know they're much more competitive than what they've ever
been since.
Speaker 5 (31:55):
Is that fair?
Speaker 3 (31:57):
I mean, if Robert Solo would just if he if
I if you can hollow for Sala, if he would
just do his team of solid and do his franchise
a solid and get himself a foot fetish, I think
that's really the.
Speaker 4 (32:08):
Missing link here for that that organization just go ahead,
dial it up and then they're back.
Speaker 3 (32:14):
To an AFC title game. But hey, lebar doesn't believe,
so I can only do so much.
Speaker 5 (32:20):
Sorry, that doesn't make me a hater. That just means
I hate. I just.
Speaker 6 (32:27):
He's got how hard I like it. I like the
breakfast table, by the way.
Speaker 3 (32:33):
Just to let it out, take take a look at
the rest of the menu while you're in there. It
is two pros and a couple of Fox Sports Radio.
What a hell of a job, Cliff Kingsbury. Coming up
next year though, from the Tirack dot Com studios, we're
gonna hand out an award to somebody specifically in the
world of sports. That's yours. Right here on FSR.

(34:08):
Week goes too.
Speaker 2 (34:09):
Your Cubs Hardy to Kyrie on the.
Speaker 7 (34:12):
Druve to the Red Hill Store with a fell on
Reid and a chance for the three point play.
Speaker 2 (34:17):
Jason Kintill take a time out the Mavericks on a
ten tohering one as they have taken the.
Speaker 3 (34:22):
Leave MAVs radio on the call. That is Kyrie Irving.
He is your Express Pros Pro of the week. He
was dealing last night. They closed out Oklahoma City, then
they go into Minneapolis and they take Game one from
the Minneapolis from the Minnesota Timberwolves rather so Kyrie Irving
is your Pro of the week. So congrats to Kyrie
for being our Express Pros Pro of the week. And
(34:44):
I was thinking about this, you know, had he stuck
around in Cleveland with Lebron and maybe those guys have
got a couple of more rings at this point in
their career, wouldn't you say, like maybe the decision to
leave Lebron and leave the Cleveland Cavaliers might have impacted
how many rings those guys would have had, you know, Yeah.
Speaker 7 (35:05):
I don't know that. I'm with LeVar on this one.
Who knows how that would have worked out. I do
think it's it's been interesting if you looked at Lebron
making an Eastern Conference finals appearance for so many years
in a row, how ridiculous, now amazing that was, And
then once he's jumped over to the Western Conference, you've
seen the struggles. Not only I mean, granted he's later
(35:27):
on in his career, but the Western Conference, to me,
at least over the past decade plus, has always had.
Speaker 5 (35:34):
Much greater parity.
Speaker 7 (35:34):
I think it's always been a more difficult path for
that team to get through the playoffs to the NBA Finals.
So I think he started to learn that. He's definitely
started to learn that now be with the Lakers. But
maybe it's a byproduct of a number of things that
are going on out West.
Speaker 3 (35:49):
Yeah, Kyr's fun to watch man, Like it's even as
at his age and he's dealt with injuries throughout the
course of his career, but just to see him when
he decides to step on the gas and when he
decides to you know, be aggressive, as they pointed out,
like he's pretty hard to stop.
Speaker 4 (36:05):
Yeah, step on the gas.
Speaker 5 (36:06):
What I mean, Okay, that's.
Speaker 3 (36:08):
Not a you know, that's not not accusing him of anything.
Speaker 5 (36:12):
You know, Yeah, no.
Speaker 3 (36:14):
Steroid accusations on this show. I want no part of that, right,
no part of.
Speaker 4 (36:19):
That at all.
Speaker 3 (36:20):
Just saying he's a fun watch and that series does
feel like we're going to get to six or seven games.
But saying all that, I'm still optimistic in the Minnesota
Timberwolves to be able to come out of that series
and represent the Western Conference as they take on the
Boston Celtics, who are going, yeah, I mean that's.
Speaker 5 (36:38):
How yeah, oh yeah.
Speaker 4 (36:42):
The Celtics will come out of the East.
Speaker 3 (36:43):
They'll win Game two tonight handedly, and then Minnesota will
win Game two. That'll be one one, and then eventually
it'll just be, you know, either one of.
Speaker 4 (36:51):
Those teams taken on the Celtics.
Speaker 3 (36:53):
So not to be a spoiler here to let you
know how the NBA is going to go, but if
there's one person you should listen to on this show,
it's clearly me
