tire buying should be so I can recall, not that
long ago, where the subject popped up during the NCAA
tournament after Yukon won another tournament in which Dan Hurley,

(01:25):
the head coach of the Yukon Huskies, said no, not
interested in the Kentucky job. They're looking to pursue a
three peet there in Yukon. They're trying to make some
history and they've got a real opportunity to do so.
And so because of that, we turn it over to
Eddie Garcia for some breaking news.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Breaking news from Fox Sports.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
All right, jonas well here in Los Angeles, has been
a lot of talk about JJ Reddick possibly being the
next head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers. However, some
breaking news this morning from NBA insider Adrian lordgen Narowski,
who is reporting the Los Angeles Lakers are targeting Yukon's
Dan Hurley to become the franchise's next head coach. They're
preparing a massive, long term contract offer to bring the

(02:16):
back to back National championship head coach to the NBA.
There are reports they've had preliminary contact with Hurley, but
they are planning to escalate discussions in the coming days.
So they are apparently going hard after Dan Hurley, the
back to back national championship, when you coach at Yukon
to be the next head coach of the Lakers makes wow.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
I like it more than wow, makes way more sense.

Speaker 5 (02:40):
Wow. That is? That is. I mean, it's not that surprising,
I guess only because of his success and so forth.
But I mean, when you listen to Dan Hurley talk
about their success at Yukon, how they constructed roster, how

(03:00):
they recruit, I don't know how that jives or connects
with Lebron. Now maybe I'm wrong, but he seems to
be like someone who obviously wants control and doesn't want
to have a player trying to dictate metal determine who's

(03:22):
on his team. Now Rob Polenka, who looks exactly like
Rob low Is, it's my understanding that he's the one
who's ultimately making this decision quote unquote, at least that's
what's being put out there publicly. But come on, we
all know how Lebron operates and how he's been operating.

(03:43):
This is either a divide between the two or somehow
Lebron is fully on board with this and willing to
at this point kind of give up the reins and
maybe I don't know. Maybe you look at the JJ
Redick situation say, you know, we don't We're a little
concerned about the storied franchise heading over to the keys

(04:07):
to a guy who's never been head coached before. So
I think as you dig deeper into if it is
going to be Dan Hurley, the reasons why, and I
wonder how many of them have to do with Lebron
checking them off, or if this is more of the
organization's decision. We know, we know Petros has lamented about
how everyone's getting nailed by the king. Maybe this is

(04:28):
an instance where that's not the case.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
There's only two coaches that you could bring in that
would exist that would not be under the influence of
what Lebron James wants, and that would be pat Riley
and Phil Jackson.

Speaker 5 (04:51):
That's it.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
I'm not even going to put Eric Spoulcher draw on
there for the for the Los Angeles Lakers. Those will
be the only two names I could think of that
would come in and you can stand up to saying
to the GM and to Lebron that this is what
it is. I think that this is a product of
conversations and comfort level of development of a college player,

(05:17):
let alone bring the skill of and the playbook that
you have a lot of people lotted Hurley's playbook, the
evolution of how they were running the baseline, the pick
and rolls, the screens, the way that he architected what
was going on there for the Huskies. I think, I

(05:43):
think if you're talking about bringing in a college coach
that is running college style offenses, even if it does
translate to the pros, there had to have been the conversation.

Speaker 5 (05:56):
What's it worked out? When's the last time to success
in college evens? I mean he's I mean, they didn't
win a championship.

Speaker 4 (06:09):
I get it, But he turned into an organization.

Speaker 5 (06:12):
I get it. I mean, and now it's in the
front office. It's kind of feels a little different, Like
I don't even know if that's the example I'd use
only because if and this is something that you know
well because you're a Boston fan. We're talking about one
of the most storied franchises in the NBA. Their standard
isn't like, oh, they turned it around, their standards win

(06:32):
a championship.

Speaker 4 (06:34):
So the Lakers have tried this before they reached out.
They were trying to hire Mike Krzyzewski back in the
day like Kobe loved Mike Krzyzewski. Obviously it didn't work out.
I want to ask you, guys this from the Dan
Hurley side, because Dan Hurley's got everything he could possibly
want in college basketball, with an opportunity on the doorstep
of history to go for a three peat, and they

(06:55):
were dominant two tournaments in a row in the hardest
playoff format that there is in sports outside of the money,
and I'm sure the money's going to be huge as
far as all this goes. Do you think much like
maybe in college football, that the NIL era and conversation
and everything that comes along with that had anything to

(07:17):
do with his decision to want to get out of
college basketball now as possible. That's very possible, Like I
see where this is heading as possible.

Speaker 5 (07:26):
What I find interesting about that is, you know, again,
he talks a lot about how he goes about recruiting guys,
and he's not necessarily always looking for the best recruit
coming out of high schools. It's the right fit. And
the way he goes about looking at the family the player,
the people around the player, their ability to have that

(07:47):
grit and desire to want to you know, compete and
earn it, not just be giving something. So it might
have played a factor, but he just he's so different
in how he sees his roster construction, how he wants
to build it team. And that's that's what I find interesting,
is that it feels like he's been heavily involved in
that in the college level and sometimes in the pros

(08:07):
that's not the case. You're kind of deal you inherit
a roster. You may not have many decisions as to
what you can do with that roster from a business standpoint,
or you may not be a part of those negotiations
and conversations at all and just be dictated and told
who's going to be there. That's a tough spot to
be in for any head coach.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
I think this is this is I like, is Lebron
James written all on it? And it has get my
son to Lakers written all on it.

Speaker 5 (08:41):
I was just gonna say, his son fits the profile
of like what Dan Hurley would want, Like a guy
who you know, people are doubting, a guy who people
say like he's not a draft pick yet, but he
might be in the future, but he's not yet right,
So why is he being trapped, Why is he gonna
be drafted this year? Why is the team? Well because
his dad's Lebron, but he would feed off of that.

(09:02):
For a young man who I think is gonna work hard,
I think is gonna like try to prove any doubters
out there wrong. Like it fits completely in the wheelhouse,
I think. And another thing is, you know, if Lebron's
looking for a way of at the end of his
career trying to still add on some championships, there might
be an element too of just saying like, this guy's

(09:23):
gonna come in and build a team around me one way.
You know, if you look at what he did at
Yukon lookout and selfish that team was the different pieces
they had, they you know, he doesn't necessarily have to
highlight Lebron in order to win. They can kind of
share in all those success and share the ball and
everything else that goes along with it.

Speaker 4 (09:39):
Do you think there's possibly maybe a little under the
table compromise here where they're like, listen, we can't have
everything right. You can't get to pick and choose your
coach and also play with your son. We're picking the coach,
we'll see what we can do about bringing your son.
I don't think that's what it is.

Speaker 5 (09:59):
Well to that point, though, you have to think the
decision they make for the coach is probably going to
I mean, you'd think an the NBA can turnover coaches quick.
But if you're making this big of a monumental commitment
to the Dan Hurley or the coach in this case,
he's going to outlast Lebron.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
Correct Now you're hitting on it. Now you're hitting on it.
To me, I think that Lebron James is looking at
the Dan Hurley situation as a win for him to
be able to one implement a dope ass offense immediately
out the gate that could possibly give him an opportunity

(10:36):
to compete, compete for another title before he gets up
out of here. But then two, if you're going to
bring in my son, who better to develop my son?
Moving forward and talking about a blockbuster deal, It's like, okay, well,
if you're doing a blockbuster deal for Dan Hurley, he's
going to be here for an extended amount of time.
That gives me, That gives my son the stability and

(10:59):
the opportunity to actually make it in the League. I
would say at this point, trying to win one more championship,
but actually situating a tremendous market and a tremendous historical
franchise for his son to have extended success as as

(11:19):
a professional ballplayer. Those got to be the only two
things that Lebron's thinking about right now. If you ask me,
I mean, what else would there be?

Speaker 5 (11:29):
I guess the question becomes in, you know, was broad
and not recruited by Yukon in the first place. It's
not like I he just played one year of college ball,
and you know Dan's been going on a run the
past couple of years. Was there interest? Was there? Not
from the James family because he didn't want to have
to go to play all the way across the country

(11:50):
on the East Coast.

Speaker 4 (11:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (11:53):
I think that it was strategic to send him to USC.
I thought it was very strategic. You're you're interest using him.
He's already played his high school ball here, I see
our canyon. He goes to a local a local college
at USC, and now he's going into the draft. I
just think, and now it kind of makes you think,

(12:14):
like dang, Darvin Ham, Like all you had to do
was drive brownie, and they might have gave you another.
They might you said, I'm not taking Bronnie. They got
your hands up, out of there. Out of there, we
got we gotta clear it away for baby boy to
come in and and get in in these doors. If
y'all going to keep Lebron James Senior around, y'all gonna

(12:34):
have to make some concessions. And this is how it's
going to work out, And this is how it's going
to happen. That's what it sounds like to me. I mean,
this is posturing if you ask me. But it's a
great move because you get an immediate boost and a
tremendous coach that understands offense.

Speaker 4 (12:51):
That's one.

Speaker 1 (12:52):
And then two if he's actually willing, which I would
assume that that's going to be something that's like in
the leveraging of all this is, you're going to draft
my son.

Speaker 4 (13:02):
You want Lebron.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
You got to bring my son boom, you develop him,
you get a long term deal. I get out of
the way, I get out of yrs hair, and y'all
move forward you know, with the team.

Speaker 4 (13:14):
Yeah, with my son, So we will keep you again.
That is the breaking news out of the NBA and
of the world of sports that the Lakers are targeting.
According to Adrian Warznarowski, Yukon's Dan Hurley to become the
franchise's next head coach. They're preparing a massive, long term
contract offer to Hurley, so the interest is definitely there.

(13:36):
They are meeting and discussing it. If that gets finalized
before we are off the air, we'll have the latest
on that. But again the breaking news. Dan Hurley in
serious consideration for the Lakers head coaching job, so much
so that things have progressed to where a massive offer
contractually is impending. That'll be coming up here shortly, and
we get I don't know, let me see if we

(13:59):
can find that at on DraftKings. Because if you had money,
if you were like me and you were like man,
if I had to bet on this, I'm gonna go
jj Reddick. You just lost your ass thinking that you
were going to get paid out.

Speaker 5 (14:10):
Which was the advice that you were giving the other week.

Speaker 4 (14:12):
So I mean, look, you know, I don't know. Uh,
let me just see. I want to see if Dan
Hurley was even in consideration.

Speaker 5 (14:20):
I don't I mean, there's probably another category.

Speaker 4 (14:24):
All right, let's see just if I can find something
here for.

Speaker 5 (14:27):
You, I might have taken it off the board.

Speaker 4 (14:31):
Let's see, So as of two days ago, Jj Reddick,
James Brego, Kenny Anderson, Kenny Atkinson and Anderson, Mike and Nori,
Chris Quinn, David Adelman, Rajon Rondo, Monty Williams, Terry Stotts,

(14:51):
like he's nowhere to be found, Becky Hammond was on
this list to be the next head coach and nowhere
Paul Gasol was on this list.

Speaker 5 (14:58):
So you don't have you don't have an odds list.

Speaker 4 (15:00):
Though, I'm just trying to just read it off. That
was the latest odds as.

Speaker 5 (15:04):
Of you're not giving us what the odds were then.

Speaker 4 (15:06):
Like plus four hundred was the next in line behind
minus two ten. Okay, yeah that according to DraftKings. So
James Brego of the Pelicans was a plus four hundred
at that point. So Dan Hurley nowhere to be found
at least according to DraftKings within the last two days.

(15:28):
So very interesting. So it could be Dan Hurley on
his way to the Lakers, according to Adrian Wardtraowski, to
be their next head coach. So fun way to start
the hour here A little breaking news, but that Lorena like,
you don't get breaking news on this show. It's like
the fourth breaking news story you've gotten on this show.

Speaker 3 (15:45):
I love it all right.

Speaker 4 (15:46):
Coming up next here though, on Two Pros and a
Cup of Joe from the tire rack dot Com Studios,
we are going to talk about a couple of people
in the NFL who were rewarded and rightfully, so that's
yours next.

Speaker 6 (15:59):

(16:35):
through some sort of adversity to get to the top.

Speaker 5 (16:37):
We've all used different tools.

Speaker 7 (16:39):

on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get podcasts.

Speaker 4 (16:51):
Two Pros and a cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio,
LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here. Coming
up in about twenty minutes from now, We're gonna have
a special over NBA Finals edition that'll be yours here
again a little over twenty minutes from now. I mean,
I'm ready to go. You guys are always real nervous
about this stuff. Not me ready to go and gamble
my you know what off as we get ready for

(17:13):
the NBA Finals, tipping off later on tonight with apparently,
if you believe the breaking news, probably a more focused
JJ Reddick on the broadcast for the NBA Finals now
that it looks like the Lakers have targeted Dan Hurley
to be their next head coach.

Speaker 5 (17:29):
That was interesting to seeing the clip that came out
where Lebron was talking about Kyrie most recently on their podcast.
I mean, did you feel like maybe there's a little
bit of like JJ news something was going on there,
Like in what way that he was just a little
bit of a different demeanor, like more relaxed or more

(17:50):
like disconnected, more kind of like I have to do this.

Speaker 4 (17:55):
Yeah, what happens to the podcast now? Does that? I mean,
is that safe or is it like all right listen? Yeah,
I thought this was part of the deal. I was
going to do a pod with you and pretend like
I liked having these discussions for ten episodes and then
we were going to get hired. Now you're going in
a different direction, right, Like I mean, if I'm JJ Reddick,
I want no part of being an NBA head coach.
He's he's doing great, say what you will about him.

(18:17):
He's prepared, he knows the stuff. He's opinionated, like he's
a superstar in the industry. Ye, why would you want
to go be a part of that.

Speaker 5 (18:26):
Well, here's what he didn't play his cards well enough
to do. He didn't leverage that opportunity while the window
was there, before this news came out about Dan Hurley
to re up with ESPN. That would have been the play.
You try to get more money out of them before
it's known. If you've got an inclination that you're not
the guy, so you dip your hat in, you go

(18:49):
through the interviews. Maybe if you put it on social media.
Some of the ESPN talent does from time to time
trying to throw their hat in the ring to get
interviews or in the ring that they should be in
consideration when it happens oftentimes do that is that they
do that. Yes, there's and by the way, it crosses
all sports, not just basketball. There's football, play in football.
But you throw your hat in that ring, make it

(19:09):
look like you're desired and all that, just just to
go back to then leverage it. Which it's funny because
with some networks that doesn't work. With some networks they're like,
oh yeah, go yeah, go take that job, go be
a coach, Go go play for pizza over in Italy,
you know that that professional football league, right Like they're
okay with that. In other networks, it's like, oh no,

(19:31):
we can't lose them. Oh man, we got to sign
them to this deal. And you come back and you're like, oh,
we could just replaced them with someone else for a
lot cheaper.

Speaker 4 (19:38):
M It's aid it's gonna be fun. We get to
see fun is. We get to see Dan Hurley very
and by the way, that's a guy who's probably not
going to be shy about telling him. No, we're doing
it my way, Like yeah, we're doing it my way.
Like my contracts got more years on it than yours does,
so we're gonna.

Speaker 1 (19:58):
I don't think it's going that way. It's not going
to be a Mike Zimmer Michael Parsons night.

Speaker 4 (20:05):
Damn.

Speaker 1 (20:08):
I think they already are on the know before. Before
you get this far, there must have been some like
breakthroughs in the agreements, the concessions, like yep, Lebron, you're
going to do this. Yes, here am I deliverables. Coach Hurley,
you're going to do this. Yes, these are my deliverables.
And everybody's on the same page. It's just now about
the money.

Speaker 4 (20:30):
Well, listen, we will have the the final details on
the contract of Dan Hurley to the Lakers as soon
as it does get done. But I mean it is
the Lakers who knows. They'll probably screw this.

Speaker 5 (20:41):
Here's the part that we're not talking about. Think about
the impact on Yukon. Granted, they've won two titles and
maybe they feel like they've got a foundation built there,
but with the transfer portal window, you know, basketball is
one window, and typically when a coach leaves, it leaves
that team in a state of disarray because those players

(21:02):
can leave. The window opens up for them. It doesn't
open up for Yukon. Yeah, so I think it look
at the timing of the basketball window, it could be
open right now for all that matter. For that matter,
but I guess the general point is that, you know,
when Nick Saban decided to step down, the timing of
it actually was could have been any more unfortunate for Alabama,

(21:26):
who will have an entirely new secondary some even reserves
between the players that moved on to the NFL, the
players that moved on different teams, despite the fact they
got a great coach a Kalen de boor, it didn't matter,
like once that coach leaves, it's outside the window. I
mean you you're out of luck.

Speaker 4 (21:43):
Man.

Speaker 5 (21:44):
You've got to wait till that next window and the
second window. In football, Yeah, a gatting as good as players,
and for basketball you only got one window. It's hard
enough as it is. So it's it's gonna be interesting
to see with where the college sports world is going
if the windows remain intact, how they go about handling that,

(22:04):
but in particular creating or surrounding coaches leaving, how they
go about handling it, because it is unfair to the university.
And I always say that because you know, they're put
in a really, really tough spot if they can't replenish
what they've lost on their roster. I mean, God forbid,
imagine something happens tragic to a coach before or near

(22:26):
a season. You got some players who in the summertime,
like right now before you go into football, that might
want to jump ship, and there's no weight they're going
to replenish a roster.

Speaker 4 (22:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (22:37):
So I don't know, that's one element of this we
probably haven't discussed or talked about, but it could be
one of those deals where it sets the program back
for years. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (22:49):
I think like all college sports could use somebody like Heisa,
you know, in my mind, because they're all bread racing
as a new independent regulator. It is isso and it's
implementing comprehensive reforms and the combining hands on care with
cutting edge technology to help keep its athletes safe. To
learn more of as the Safety runs First dot com.
That safety runs first, dot Com. Get it for you, Lee,

(23:09):
Hope you're happy.

Speaker 5 (23:10):
All right?

Speaker 4 (23:11):
So the Cleveland Browns have handed out a couple of extensions.
Andrew Berry, the GM, Kevin Stefanski, the head coach. They've
both gotten contract extensions, both deserving of those contract extensions.
This four year run that they're on has been the
most successful from a winning percentage standpoint for the Cleveland

(23:32):
Browns since the late eighties. Job well done by both
of those guys. Here's the problem. Uh oh, if Deshaun
Watson cannot figure it out and play up to the
two hundred and thirty million dollars guaranteed contract, then it's awesome,
It's great, but that really is going to be how

(23:53):
this whole era for the Cleveland Browns is going to
be judged. They've won games, They've done things no other
Brown head coach GM combination is done in decades, But
it does feel like everything is hanging on whether or
not Deshaun Watson can get it together, be on the
field and play good football when he actually is on
the field for the Cleveland Browns. So either way, good roster,

(24:16):
job well done by those guys. They deserve it.

Speaker 5 (24:18):
You know who deserves credit that no one is going
to talk about because he ultimately ended up being the
guy to fall on the sword is Hugh Jackson. I
mean he signed up for when they told him this
strategy and plan to in essence tank and go oh
to sixteen and go one in fifteen. He's signed up
for it, but that those early stages of the roster

(24:43):
reconstruction is what led them to this point. If I'm
not mistaken. It netted a guy like Miles Garrett, who's
arguably the best edge rusher, one of the best edge
rushers in the NFL. Many other players too within the
draft that were able to be you know they were.
They benefited from their draft position, accumulating draft picks and
being able to bring all these guys on board. So

(25:06):
Kevin Stevanski deserves a lot of credit, especially how he
navigated last season really without Deshaun Watson and a player
like Joe Flacco played phenomenal, but so many different starting
quarterbacks and yet they still found success. I still look
at Andrew Berry and what they've done and it's been
incredible in one sense for where they were during that downtime.

(25:27):
But that was self imposed. They decided to tank. They
went to do that. Hugh Jackson signed on that unfortunately
ended up being his demise as a head coach and
has to go in his resume, But that was the
strategy and it got them to this point now where
they feel like they got a window to go win
a super Bowl, and the window was the next three years.

(25:48):
That's really It's not like we could talk about what
Deshaun needs to be. He's got three years to do it.
He's already been there two years and it has not
mattered because the deal that he signed and the dead
cap as with it, they can't move on from him.
No one's going to absorb it. So he's got three
years to prove to the Browns, their fans, everyone else

(26:09):
that he's the quarterback they thought they were when they
brought him in.

Speaker 1 (26:15):
I'm happy for Stefanski, you know, Wespa guy, he definitely
did you know you don't have your microphone on?

Speaker 4 (26:24):
Good? Good? Go ahead, do it again?

Speaker 5 (26:26):
We pa?

Speaker 4 (26:26):
Okay, there you go.

Speaker 1 (26:29):
You know, they they overcame a lot last season to
be in the position that they were in. Was an
excellent job that that they did. They've been right there
at it for for a little bit now and we're
able to get some real great workout of Flacco. As
far as with Deshaun Watson and how that looks, you

(26:52):
have to assume if he wants to play, if he
comes back from the surgery healthy, if he's the right
mental mind state to want to be a player, that
they're going to improve.

Speaker 4 (27:08):
Dang, I can't get the whole thing out. No, I'm
just dying. What do you think? What made you laugh?
You don't think he wants to play it?

Speaker 1 (27:17):
I don't. I don't. I don't get I don't. But
but that's just my observations. When I watched the games,
I wasn't surprised he did end up being really hurt,
like injured. He did, he did need surgery. I just
felt like if if people recall, because sometimes it's easy
to get away from stories and things that were taking place,

(27:40):
we couldn't figure out what was really wrong with them.

Speaker 4 (27:44):
There.

Speaker 1 (27:44):
There were different reports there, there were reports that could
have been concussion symptoms.

Speaker 5 (27:49):
Then, because they're trying to control the narrative, that's his
agent right there, And that's just how it works. Like
if things aren't going well for your client, you have
to control the new and that's in essence what they
were trying to do to some degree. But remember it
didn't help either with the Browns, you know, putting some
stuff out there that probably didn't put it in a

(28:09):
favorable light.

Speaker 1 (28:10):
Yeah, it just seemed it just seemed like looking at it,
he's just not you know, if I play, I play.
If I do, I don't like. I know he's sitting
there saying, well, I play football all my life and
this is what I do and this and that, but
you haven't been playing football for a while now.

Speaker 4 (28:28):
Do you think they were granted? Hell?

Speaker 1 (28:30):
Yes, absolutely. I wonder if somebody lost their job over it.
Even if it might not have been them I did it,
they still somebody got to pay for this. I wonder
if somebody had to take to take the l because that,
I mean, they haven't gotten that. That hasn't paid them

(28:51):
any dividends really of significance. So hopefully they can get
it out of it for this year. Let's just start
with this season. Start with one practice, start with one game.
Is he practicing? Have we heard what's going on? Out
of many caps for him, is he how's he doing?
I haven't heard any reports.

Speaker 4 (29:09):
They're very cautious with him. Like at last I saw
before camp started he was throwing the ball up to
forty yards. I think I saw the was the number
that I heard.

Speaker 1 (29:20):
Okay, So I mean I saw that they interviewed Nick
Chubb and him talking about his recovery and how he's
feeling and stuff like that. But I haven't really heard.
You just don't really hear anything from Deshaun Watson. You
don't hear anything.

Speaker 4 (29:36):
I mean, Mary Kay Cabot did report that the Browns
will not be shy, especially early in the season if
he struggles to go Jamis Winston and give him an opportunity.
Like they're at the point where it's like we got
to see something Like we, as Brady pointed out, got
a roster we think can compete, and if we're not

(29:57):
getting product, you know, production from the quarterback position, we're
areless of the contract. We could see Jameis Winston out
there sling at it.

Speaker 5 (30:06):
I am the biggest Jameis Winston fan in this sense
of it. I've said it about the Raiders. If I
was the Raiders, I'd be giving him a call. And
we talked about the forty nine ers and just kind
of backups behind it. Obviously they have Josh Dobbs and
who else did we be throwing there? They took Tanner Mordecai,
who played a lot of college football. There's one more

(30:28):
name has escaped me right now. But you know that's
one where if Brock pretty goes down, you could feel
like you've got a pretty significant difference. Brandon Allen, that
was one. Yeah, that's right. But like Winston on that
roster in that system. I mean, look, this isn't like controversial.
I think if you look at the overall talent ability

(30:49):
of Jameis Winston, he was a number one overall pick
for a reason. He's got a strong arm, he's athletic.
You know, guys love him. He's got all those intangibles.
I just think he's waiting for the next situation and
opportunity to flourish. And if he gets it in Cleveland,
I do feel like he will be successful. I really do.
With that roster, that is one of the more talented

(31:10):
rosters in the NFL.

Speaker 4 (31:11):
Yeah, well, we will wait to see whether or not
Deshaun Watson or Jamis Winston take them to the Promised Land.

Time to put your money where your mouth is.

Speaker 4 (33:25):
I have been losing aligning, low life gambling, the genuine.

Speaker 3 (33:30):
It's over under all right lead to lap.

Speaker 4 (33:32):
We got a special NBA Finals edition of over unders
in honor of a seven game series. Potentially you've got
seven over unders for the finals.

Speaker 8 (33:40):
Let's go well, that's right, seven games, but how many
games will there actually be in the NBA Finals?

Speaker 4 (33:46):
The over under is at five and a half over under.

Speaker 5 (33:49):
The over six. It's gonna be a good serious boys,
I'll go under. Spoken like a Boston Then, damn.

Speaker 4 (33:58):
Yeah, I'm gonna go over. I think it'll get to six, guys.

Speaker 8 (34:02):
Number of injections we get in the series is that
a half?

Speaker 4 (34:06):
I'm gonna take the under.

Speaker 5 (34:08):
I'll take the over. Officiating hasn't been good in the
playoffs and someone's gonna get ejected all the finals.

Speaker 4 (34:14):
Little flagrant too and you're out of there. I'll take
the under, guys. Number of overtime games we get in
the finals is that a half?

Speaker 5 (34:25):
Over?

Speaker 4 (34:26):
I'm gonna take the under cause it means i feel
like we've gotten more overtime games this playoffs than normally
and because of that, I'm gonna take the under.

Speaker 8 (34:38):
Fella's game winning buzzer beaters?

Speaker 4 (34:40):
Is that a half?

Speaker 5 (34:42):
I'll take the over again. It's gonna be a competitive series.
Maybe this is just what I'm hoping You're really very optimistic,
like hopeful this is gonna be one of those competitive,
awesome series and we're not gonna see like games one
through four be you know, one team's up by twenty
and and they just sail it in or mail it
in for like the rest of the second half, fourth quarter.

(35:05):
So I'm gonna stay over.

Speaker 1 (35:06):
I think they'll be close. But I don't know about
buzzer beaters, you said out a half. Yeah, yeah, I'm
gonna take the under. Take the under as well too.

Speaker 5 (35:16):
What constitutes, by the way, a buzzer beater, Like, if
someone hits a shot with six seconds left to go.

Speaker 4 (35:20):
Ahead, that's not a buzzer beater. You got to hear
that and the balls in the air.

Speaker 5 (35:27):
Well, if that's the case, I'll take it under, like
I figured. If it's gonna be like a last second shot,
like somewhere in the last ten seconds, I mean, it's
gonna happen in one of the games.

Speaker 4 (35:35):
Sure, well, guys, what if we change into buzzer beat No,
they won't getting into the weeds. If we do it at
the end of quarters and halves, then we're getting in
the weeds. Yeah, I was thinking of all.

Speaker 5 (35:44):
Actually you should probably specify.

Speaker 8 (35:46):
Oh I did say game winning buzzer beaters.

Speaker 4 (35:48):
Yeah you did. You'll take games I did well, guys,
we talked about it.

Speaker 5 (35:53):
Uh.

Speaker 8 (35:53):
I think you're all gonna take the over on this
road wins at one and a half, one and a half.

Speaker 5 (36:00):
One and a half, I'm gonna take the under. Joe
is so Bolsh, Austin's just gonna sweep them.

Speaker 4 (36:07):
Basically, I'm gonna take the under.

Speaker 8 (36:11):
All right, guys, Finals MVP is gonna be Tatum or
Doncic or the field field.

Speaker 4 (36:19):
I'll take Tatum or Doncic. I'm gonna take the field
and there you go. That's say you get ready for
the NBA Finals. All right, nobody, it's taking away too
way too long.
