Speaker 2 (00:27):
Let's give this part.
Speaker 3 (00:28):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio. I'm going to the
beach today, are you yeah? We're gonna stay in Manhattan
for the rest of the weekend, are you yeah? Bringing sunblock? Nah?
I don't need that. Why not? I don't really get
into all of that. Why not on one with the
(00:50):
sun out your sun because we shine like one, not
because you are my son. I'm not as a bar.
Speaker 4 (01:00):
I coated on sunblock while I was in Chicago at
the Cubs game.
Speaker 2 (01:04):
How'd that worked out for?
Speaker 5 (01:05):
You?
Speaker 4 (01:05):
Still got color? It's just a problem. I'm so pasty,
just not it doesn't go well. You know, family history,
all that just not a place for me. So you know,
let me know how that goes far. Okay, yeah, you
need an ask.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
Come hang out? Nope, dang, I go to the Strand
House tonight ooh or tomorrow. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:34):
What's the cocktail of choice on the beach in Manhattan
for me?
Speaker 3 (01:40):
Yeah? You know what, my my, what's turning into my
favorite drink right now is silver tequila, grapefruit juice, water
and lemon. What's that called? I don't know, but it's good.
Speaker 6 (02:02):
Why I'm asking you give it to me one more time?
Speaker 2 (02:06):
Yeah, here we go.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
Cocktail, silver tequila, okay, grapefruit juice, water and lemon. Well,
it's like a paloma, but it's that's not a it's
not it's not a poma.
Speaker 6 (02:20):
Well, grapefruit juice and tequila, but you're adding a little
bit of lemon and water.
Speaker 3 (02:24):
Yeah, add water. It's it's uh, it's what. It's very
easy to drink, so super refreshing. What do we want
to call it? Like? It doesn't taste like a poloma.
Speaker 4 (02:35):
The lemon paaloma. There's got to be a different, a
good name we can come up for this.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
It doesn't taste like it, but maybe it does. Maybe
it is just liked the refresher. I thought that sounded
like a good name refresher. It is refreshing. It's so
easy to drink. It's called a mere lemon paloma, is
that right? Yeah? Where you add water to it, like
I literally add a lot of water. Like it's it's
(03:02):
it's almost like if we're going percentages, it's probably like
twenty percent alcohol. It's like thirty five percent forty percent
water and and then go you know, the rest of
the way is grapefruit juice and then like one percent
(03:25):
two percent lemon juice. Yeah, that's it.
Speaker 6 (03:28):
Technically, the Meyer lemon puloma has a little bit of
a simple syrup and it is no simple syrup.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
Yeah, don't need that sugar.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
No, I thought that's what Palomas. I thought Palomas had
like soda quort soda in it, right, Yeah, so I thought,
I mean, I think grapefruit is the best mixer. Yeah,
I like grapefruit.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
Interesting. Yeah, Well, what's Lee's favorite drinkers?
Speaker 4 (03:52):
Is?
Speaker 3 (03:53):
Just yes, how that goes? I can I get a
you know, you choose?
Speaker 2 (03:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (03:59):
Well, usually I'm trying to stay away from the sugary drinks,
so I usually go gin and soda, but I have
been doing tequila soda or ranch water a lot late lately.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
Is it gin and soda or gin and tonic?
Speaker 6 (04:09):
Well, tonic has got sugar in it, So I do soda,
which is soda water nut.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
So so when does that changed because in the Ireland
trip it was G and t's everywhere.
Speaker 6 (04:18):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, I'm just trying to watch that,
trying to watch that sugar intake.
Speaker 3 (04:22):
So I've switched over to the sodas.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
Proud of you.
Speaker 3 (04:25):
Yeah, thank you.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
I'll give you a hug right now if I could,
huh a little ranch water.
Speaker 3 (04:32):
Very interesting, there you go. What's so funny.
Speaker 4 (04:37):
The way, like the way Lee rattles the stuff off,
It's like it's just unbelievable, like a true expert in
his field, like it just a you hear certain people
rattle off. It's like the way Brady will break down
an NFL contract. That's like he's speaking in terms I
just can't even comprehend. And Lee will rattle like mixtures
(04:59):
and drinks and what he's feeling and what's appropriate, why
this makes sense and that doesn't make sense. And I'm
just in awe like anybody who's an expert in their field,
I just I'm fascinated by it. It's like seeing people
cook or grill on like Instagram, Like you'll see these people,
you know, do certain recipes and it's just amazing to watch.
And the way Lee breaks this stuff down is just brilliant,
(05:22):
you know, like that liquor store he did, like the
All Pro liquor store.
Speaker 3 (05:26):
I mean, it's just it's amazing. You was catching a
heat last week though. There was some some young cats
that said, uh, your your your rundown was kind of dated. Wow,
what I had zen on there? That's not dated. I'm
just telling you what was said. What was stated, Well,
I did well. I don't get in the name dropping.
(05:50):
I'm just saying saying. I'm just saying you did catch
a couple of straight. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (05:55):
Shade did hit me up about something called the sidewalk Slammer.
Speaker 3 (05:58):
The sidewalk Yeah, he mixed, Uh what does he mix?
He mixed for loco and a beer or something like that,
something like that. Hey, man, can't believe you missed it
or left that off the list. Well, you know, Shay
is it is. It is a young gun. He might
know he knows some stuff like young something. Don't you
take that crap? All right, don't you take that crap.
Speaker 4 (06:18):
You've put in your time, all right, you put in
your time. They're gonna sit here and try and doubt
the greatness of the Leaker store, not having.
Speaker 3 (06:25):
The Leaker store kiss.
Speaker 4 (06:28):
Our ass, unfair treatment of the go Leaker that's a shirt.
Speaker 3 (06:37):
L e E Dot Core Leak or the Leakers Store.
All right, So.
Speaker 4 (06:46):
From Leaker over the Lakers, Uh, congratulations. Uh, the Lakers
may have found their next head coach. According to Adrian Wargenowski,
Dan Hurley could be the guy there for the Los
Angeles Lakers.
Speaker 7 (06:59):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (06:59):
Which, by the way, we broke that news with Eddie
Garcia earlier in the show, and of course we did
it all live from the tire rack dot Com studios.
Speaker 3 (07:07):
Tire rack dot com.
Speaker 4 (07:08):
We'll help you get there, an unmatched selection, fast, free shipping,
free road as a protection, and over ten thousand recommended installers.
Tire rack dot com the way tire buying should be.
But nonetheless, the Lakers have identified Dan Hurley as their guy.
And this is how you know that Lebron James was
definitely in on all this. According to Ward Garowski and
(07:31):
his column that he wrote on ESPN. As for the Lakers,
starves lebron James has been impressed with hurley sophisticated offensive actions.
Assuming James returns to LA and free agency, big assumption.
There you know, again, we got to be careful. Let's
tread lightly on that one. The possibility of using the
(07:53):
fifty fifth overall pick in this month's NBA draft on
USC freshman guard Bronni James makes Hurley and even more
intriguing candidate if that happens, and it's a big if
James gets a chance to play with his son and
the benefit of Hurley and his staff becoming responsible for
Bronnie's pro development. There you go, lebar Arrington, Bang bang,
(08:18):
how about it? Yeah, so apparently this is this is
all about developing Bronnie James, and apparently JJ Reddick can't
do the job. So now there's we've got an issue
there with the podcast between those guys.
Speaker 3 (08:31):
Oh well, apparently they're not trusting him to be able
to do it. I mean, look, I don't know what
it would look like for JJ Reddick because we've never
seen it. There's no comps. So, but we do know
what Danny Hurley is capable of doing at the college level.
(08:52):
And I got to say, I looked up how many
how many college coaches have done well at the pro level?
After Q brought it up in Q's right, there there
are none. There really have been no real successful college
coaches at the pro level. So it begs the question,
has again, has the NBA changed so much that the
(09:17):
level of preparation and what you're able to do and
capable of doing coming from the college level is it?
Is it more doable now? Is this the time in
place for someone like a Danny Hurley to have success
when it hasn't been able to be done by other guys.
I mean, you had, you had so many different coaches
(09:39):
that just it's difficult. It's more difficult to deal with
adults who are getting paid tons of money than it
is dealing with young adults who are amateur, you know,
at least perceivably amateur athletes at the college level. I mean,
you had La Trail's you know, choking out PJ Carlissio.
That wouldn't have happened in the college dranks, you know,
(10:00):
just you just run into we.
Speaker 2 (10:03):
Don't know that.
Speaker 1 (10:04):
I mean that was one of the more public incidents.
I mean, I'm sure if you really searched, you could
find some insidence of.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
College players going after coaches. Maybe in a high school players.
Speaker 3 (10:13):
But think about it this way. If it happened in college,
that coach has the autonomy to be like goodbye, like
right then and there. Yeah, well, I.
Speaker 1 (10:22):
Don't think that did wonders for Latrell Spierel's career, which,
by the way, I will mention my first pair of
basketball shoes were the Latrell Spire Yeah. Yeah, my dad
we were they were shopping at adjust for feet and
I remember him.
Speaker 2 (10:40):
No, and the rex Ron was not there. It might
be an investor though.
Speaker 1 (10:44):
Uh, he'd be the guy put up the cameras up
and then like the down there, like the foot mirror
and like the measuring it.
Speaker 2 (10:50):
Yeah, yeah, what a weird deal. Anyway, Chopper is going by.
He he looks he has all the chops.
Speaker 1 (10:57):
He has these ones right here. These are the ones.
I was like, oh, yeah, was that Dad. He's like, well,
the lightest. He's like, you'd be the fastest one out there.
I was like, my dad's saying that because I was
always like a taller, kind of lanky kid. So I
wasn't that slow, but I definitely looked slow because I
took longer strides, and so he was always like, get
the lightest shoe possible, Chopper. He's like, that's the only
(11:18):
way you're gonna be able to seem somewhat fast. And
so he had nothing to do with Latrell's spreewell outside
of the fact, what.
Speaker 3 (11:26):
Did they have rims on the side? No? Oh, I'm
looking at these.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
Yeah, this is like the converse. This has to be
back in like the nineties. It was like I could
barely remember what it looked like. I definitely don't have
rims on the side. But it was a super super
light shoe and actually was a pretty decent basketball shoe.
But the only reason we got it was because it
was the lightest shoe that they had there and they
kind of advertised that. And then I think as I
(11:52):
started to follow Latrell's spree, well, I became a fan
of his game, but I was a bit concerned about
some of the stuff kind happened move it off the cords.
Speaker 4 (12:01):
So there, I look at these what they're called a
Data Supreme spinners.
Speaker 1 (12:06):
Buddy, that's like way after this is I was probably
I mean, this is like my first ever basketball shoes,
so I don't know I was seven or eight. This
is like early nineties.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
I'm looking at uh.
Speaker 4 (12:19):
All right, yeah that I'm seeing They said cons on
the tongue and uh yeah, these are pretty sweet? Man, God,
who needs who needs? Jordan's and he got a sweet
pair like these? Yeah, and it was when he played
for the Warriors.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
I think, so, trust me, I'm looking for it. You
will not be able to find this shoe. That's how
old it is. Yeah, I see what you're looking at,
the cross spinning rim that's not the croolis.
Speaker 4 (12:49):
Yeah, there's the ones called the Acropolis.
Speaker 3 (12:53):
Let me see if I.
Speaker 2 (12:53):
Could remember the iversins when I first came out. Those
were sweet.
Speaker 4 (12:57):
The rebox yeah, hy right, Hey, because you're not up
on shoe game, like I ain't up on this shoe game,
why not remember the trails?
Speaker 2 (13:11):
I mean again, early nineties, you're not.
Speaker 1 (13:13):
You're not gonna be able to find a picture of
these because everything I'm seeing that looks like a more
updated shoe.
Speaker 3 (13:19):
With the rims on the side though, spinning rims.
Speaker 2 (13:22):
They're spinning rims.
Speaker 1 (13:24):
That's so amazing with that idea is genius.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
Cars. I'm sure he did. I'm sure he did.
Speaker 3 (13:37):
The rims was spinning on the shoes, though, I don't.
Speaker 2 (13:40):
We can spin them?
Speaker 3 (13:42):
You could you really spin the rims?
Speaker 2 (13:43):
I think.
Speaker 1 (13:45):
I just love the idea of something being like if
you don't have rims on your shoes, man, I mean,
oh you.
Speaker 3 (13:53):
You wasn't that, dude, Q. There's no way you was
wearing these con No way.
Speaker 1 (13:59):
I'm telling you this was These are all after the fact,
trust me.
Speaker 3 (14:03):
Okay, Like you said, the shoe he had.
Speaker 2 (14:07):
Was so basic and what do we got? Yeah? Those,
I'm telling you it was before that. And that's definitely what.
Speaker 3 (14:14):
Like you go to pay Less, you're a.
Speaker 2 (14:16):
Power forward, like you're dang them. Join the big Country reeves,
the Grizzlies.
Speaker 3 (14:24):
Stop forradate, pay less, damn get two for free, get one,
get to What was the name of the store that
you went to? Is that a midwester feet? Yeah, alright,
just for feet?
Speaker 2 (14:38):
What do you think I'm not going to go there?
Nothing nothing?
Speaker 4 (14:45):
What in two thousand and four, by the way, Just
for Feet had a good run seventy seven to four.
Speaker 3 (14:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (14:55):
The used have about half court basketball court in their
uh test amount.
Speaker 2 (15:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (15:01):
Yeah, Like that's dope.
Speaker 2 (15:02):
I thought that was one of the coolest things.
Speaker 1 (15:04):
Like you're like, Oh, I could get a real live
like feel for what these feel like. We're basically just
go to the store though sometimes just to shoot around.
Speaker 3 (15:12):
Oh yeah, sweet, look at it right now? What a
cool spot.
Speaker 4 (15:18):
Well listen, gone of the days of the rims on
the side of.
Speaker 3 (15:22):
The shoes for La Trust's free.
Speaker 2 (15:24):
Well, I can't believe that was the thing.
Speaker 4 (15:30):
And yeah, who knows, maybe they'll get dusted off and
brought back for Bronnie James when the Lakers select him
fifty five overall to pair with Dan Hurley and his
dad with the Lakers. So that is where we're at
with that update on the Lakers head coaching search. Dan Hurley,
according to Woes, is apparently the guy that they are
(15:51):
pursuing preparing to offer a contract to, and he could
be on his way out of Yukon and with the
Lakers here at any moment. So it is two pros
and a cup of Joe here on Fox Sports Radio,
LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox of the aar Coming
up next from the Tirak dot com studios, We're gonna
find out just exactly what's going wrong between a pairing

Albert Breers in Senior NFL reporter, lead content strategist at
the MMQB. You can get him on Twitter at Albert
Breer Ay. Be good morning, Happy Thursday to year.
Speaker 7 (17:24):
Good morning guys, how are we doing?
Speaker 3 (17:25):
Morning good?
Speaker 4 (17:27):
Is this Micah Parsons and Mike Zimmer relationship just not
off to a great start, or is this more about
Micah wanting a contract and maybe things are a little
uneasy with everybody there.
Speaker 7 (17:40):
Yeah, I think a lot of things are uneasy in
Dallas right now. You got a coach and the contract year.
You got a quarterback in the contract year. Yeah, a
number one receiver in a contract year. And you know,
I like, I sort of wonder with Mike and now
if he feels like he's got to make some noise
to get his you know, because he still does have
two years left on his rookie contracts. So it's an
(18:03):
interesting situation, no question. And you know, the Cowboys have
stepped on this rake a lot where you know, they
they wait and wait and wait to sign guys and
they wind up paying a heavy price. That happened with
Zach Martin, it happened with DeMarcus Lawrence, And you know,
I think that's sort of you know where they are
now with Ceedee Lamb and and and Michael Parson's where
(18:25):
with those two guys, you know, you wait justin Jefferson
gets done and and now the ais been raised for both,
you know, like just because Justin Jefferson's receiver obviously with
lamb and because Jefferson's now the highest stayton non quarterback,
beating out Nick Bosa on Parsons. So you know, it's
just there's a lot for the Cowboys to sort through
(18:48):
over the next few months before they start playing games,
and you know, it'd be interesting to see how things
would play out if all of those contract situations remain
in unresolved as we get closer to the season.
Speaker 1 (19:02):
Albert, I'm curious to get your thoughts on what's happening
in San Francisco. It seems like they're doing things different
than everyone else. They're paying their right back and yet
instead of paying their wide receivers, they're putting on the
trade block. Help me understand what they're think about there
in the Bay.
Speaker 7 (19:17):
Yeah, So I think the first thing, Brady is like
that the Christian McCaffrey thing was sort of bubbling under
the surface for the last few months, so that didn't
come out of nowhere, and I think McCaffrey made it
known to people in that building, and you know, it
wasn't like he BQ in public with any of this,
but you know, like he felt like based on the
value he brings to the team as a skill player,
(19:39):
not just a running back, but as a skill player,
like he deserves a little more than you know, twelve
viewers do this year in the twelve point two is
do next year. So he gets the four million dollar
raise for both years, and then the team gets basically
an affordable option for twenty twenty six.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
So now that they've.
Speaker 7 (19:58):
Taken care of that, they can take care of the
bigger box items. I do think, like you know, the
order of these things happening is important. You know, if
you pay I Yuke before you pay McCaffrey, well then
you know, like I think McCaffrey probably is asking for
a little bit more. But now that you've checked that box,
I think you can kind of focus on your receiver situation.
My personal opinion is my opinion. I think Kyle Sanahanna,
(20:22):
John Lynch, if they were given the choice, would take
Brandon Auk over Deebo Samuel because Uk is more I
Uk is more of like a traditional number one receiver
that they can build an offense around. Whereas Debo, as
valuable as he is and as as great a player
as he is. I think, based on everything that they
have right now, might be viewed a little bit more
as a luxury item, you know. And because he's got
(20:43):
the miles on his body he does, the longevity could
be an issue too. So you know, you've got this
wealth of riches, and you know, I sort of you
think there's a parallel a few years ago, going back
four years, when they had you know, a bunch of
guys in the defensive line. They knew they were going
to have to pay, and you know, they wind up
(21:03):
making the move to sign Eric Armstead long term than
trade DeForest Buckner. I think it's sort of a similar
thing with the skill positions for them. Now where you
got Kittle, you got McCaffrey, you got Ayuke, you got Debo,
You signed Juwan Jennings for an extra year, so you
have one more year of him after this year, you
draft Ricky pearsall, you know, And now I think you're
(21:25):
looking at it and saying, okay, like either Auk or
Divo isn't going to be here long term if the
IU contract situation is too difficult to get around it
to keep Debo, and you know, I you go somewhere
else twenty twenty five, but they can get Auk signed.
I think whether it's now or later, Debo is probably
going to be traded. And I'm not saying Deebo definitely
(21:46):
trade be traded before the year. If somebody came with
a first round pick or something like that, like then
I think, you know, yeah, the Niners would really think
about that. I don't think they're going to give them away,
but they're obviously Now.
Speaker 1 (22:00):
What would someone give up a first round pick for them?
Speaker 7 (22:05):
It's a good question, right, like because I like with
the Jets do it for example, But the Jets are
so squarely in a win now window. And if you're
the Jets, let me ask you, Brady, if you're the Jets, right,
and you think you're going to be really good, and like,
let's say that you think that that's going to be
somewhere between the twenty eighth and thirty second pick, right
your first round pick for next year, and you know
(22:26):
where you are, and you know where you're at, and
maybe you feel like you need one more weapon and
you feel like the guy you drafted out of Western Kentucky.
Malchai Corley could learn from Debo because there's some similarities
in the game. Would you do it?
Speaker 2 (22:41):
I think it.
Speaker 1 (22:41):
Makes sense based on the scenario you're presenting, But I'd
have to look at the cap structure and how all
that works. I mean, yeah, I don't know. I mean,
I think the Jets are your perfect case of they're
all in in particular for this year, given the age
of Rogers and just everything else that's gone on there.
But I mean, you got to create a market, right,
So how is that market being driven up to a
(23:03):
first round pick if it's only the Jets they're dealing.
Speaker 7 (23:06):
With, right, And that's that's That's the thing though, is that, Like,
if you're the Niners, you're probably not doing it for
two or three, right, So you don't really need the
market there. You're just going to say, well, you got
to make it worth our while to move a guy
off of our roster when we're in a championship window.
You know, we would rather go compete for a championship
(23:27):
with this guy than have a second or a third
round pick in twenty twenty five and going forward. But
if that's the first round pick, maybe we're talking about
something else, you know what I'm saying, Like, if you're
if you're a team coming in and asking on Deebo Samuel,
you're not competing against other teams so much as you're
competing against the Niners desire to go and compete for
a championship this year. So I think it's sort of
(23:48):
an interesting dynamic that way.
Speaker 3 (23:51):
Hey, b I want I want to switch gears on
to this twenty one billion dollar lawsuit that is against
the NFL. I guess it's basically alleging that the NFL
violated a antitrust law and harm customers through or consumers
through you know, the sale of its exclusive Sunday ticket.
(24:12):
It's about to go to trial, seemingly. What what do
you know about this? Like, can you shed some light
on what the potential of the you know, impact of
this lawsuit could have on NFL.
Speaker 7 (24:26):
I mean, I think this is something that these things
are things that the NFL has been fighting forever and
ever and ever, and you know, I think it's sort
of a result of the changing landscape, you know, and
you know, like the fact that that they're able to
kind of set their prices wherever they want to for
broadcast partners, you know. So you know, I think as
(24:48):
the landscape as as a landscape continues to change, and
if they opt out after I think it's after the
twenty nine season they have the opt out, and we
see more and more things going to streaming. You know.
The one thing the public has in his back pocket
here is the anti trust exemption, you know, and that's
(25:08):
obviously very very important to the NFL. So I think
it's the landscape when it comes to broadcasting and how
games are televised changes. It continues to change in the
coming years, and the money continues to escalate. You'll see
more and more things like this. I don't think it'll
have much of a sex, you know, in the near
term at least and how people consume games, but definitely
(25:30):
something worth watching.
Speaker 4 (25:31):
Albert Brier joining us here on Fox Sports Radio, senior
NFL reporter, lead content strategist at the MMQB. Get them
on Twitter at Albert Breer ab What is the latest
on the TUA situation in Miami? Tyreek Hill says he
should have already gotten his extension to understand what's going
on as far as the market goes with other quarterbacks.
(25:53):
Where do things stand between him and the Dolphins?
Speaker 7 (25:57):
Yeah, they're not. I mean they're not where they need
to be clearly. If you listen to him talk the
other day, it's pretty obvious that you know he's reached
a point of frustration. I think you'd understand it too, Like,
you know, he he sat type for a year and
saw guys he was drafted with and Yo and Burrow
and Justin Herbert get get paid. So you know he
(26:19):
saw that. And you can say the Dolphins, you know,
we're smart about which they were because you had the
concussion concerns coming out of twenty twenty two. But if
you're that guy, you're going to kind of digest that
a different way, you know. And this is also a
guy who obviously had his college career and with a
pretty catastrophic hip injury. So you know, I'm sure in
(26:41):
his mind, and I don't think he's going to say this,
but in his mind, I'm sure he feels the clock
ticking towards the season and you know, there's still no
deal done and they've had a lot of time to
work on this, and I do think like his agency
has been focused on getting him a deal where the
average per year starts with the number five, and you know,
(27:04):
whether the Dolphins are willing to go there I think
it's another piece of this. How will guarantee, you know,
again because of the injury concern is a major piece
of this, you know, but very clearly the Dolphins have
been preparing this offseason for this. They cut Jerome Baker,
they cut Davian Howard, they let Christian Wilkins walk, So
(27:24):
they've done things, you know, if you if you look
at the way they're set up, they've done things to
sort of clear the decks so they can absorb top
end quarterback contract. So I still think, because it's only June,
you know, like this is probably some of the normal
ebbs and flows and contract negotiations, especially when it comes
(27:44):
to you know, sort of big box item as a quarterback,
a quarterback contract is. But but you know, I can
also understand why, you know, if you're to a and
you've been through everything that he's been through as a
football player, you would be getting a little antsy right now.
Speaker 1 (28:01):
Albert just curious in regards to the business of football.
A lot of stuff could be strolling around this summer,
but like, what's one thing you expect to happen or
get done that's I don't know, maybe flying under the
radar a bit this summer in regards to the NFL, I.
Speaker 7 (28:17):
Don't know everything's so well covered, Brady, I you know,
I think I think one thing that we will see
before the beginning of the season is I think there
will be one quarterback who will go on like one
of these quarterbacks. I just have this feeling that maybe
(28:38):
one of these quarterbacks goes in the season with his
contract situation unresolved, whether it's Dak or or To or
Jordan Love, like, I think it just feels to me
the quarterback contracts have escalated to the point where one
of those, like someone might go into the season with
that unresolved and that becomes the major storyline going into
(28:58):
the year. And maybe it's Dak. I mean, you know,
it was a huge part of me looking at like
the Cowboys situation. I know we talked about them earlier,
but you know, just kind of like reading the tea
leaves here, you know, like this sort of feels like
the where the Rams were on golf going into twenty twenty,
you know, like where they like him, but it's starting
(29:19):
to wonder is it ever going to be enough to
get us over the top, you know, And obviously a
lot of things you know happen with GoF after that
he was under contractual control for the Rams. The Cowboys
don't have that luxury. And you know, on top of that,
you know, like Matthew, the Matthew Stafford things sort of
you know, sell from the sky for them. And there's
no telling whether something like that's going to happen, but
(29:42):
you know, I think there'll be one, at least one
of the quarterback contract situations unresolved going into the season.
I just have a suspicion that it might be Dak
that goes into the season in a contract year.
Speaker 4 (29:55):
Abe before we let you go. Obviously you're going to
be fair and balanced. There's going to be no rooting
interest involved in any of this stuff. And we're not
trying to piss the dog off again.
Speaker 7 (30:06):
But he's pissed off about a bunch of other things.
I think one I think this morning was actually the
deer that we're running around in the backyard.
Speaker 3 (30:15):
So fair enough.
Speaker 4 (30:17):
But NBA Finals, you got to pick a b I
know you don't probably don't care, you don't have a
rooting interest at all between the Celtics and the MAVs.
Just curious who you pick is well, well, My.
Speaker 7 (30:28):
One prediction would be the Kyrie Or's you have a
really hard time tonight with the crowd. No, I think
it's Celtics in five. This is their time. There's a
ton of pressure on them. But I got some friends
that that they cover this, and you know one of them,
you know, my friend Tanya from the New York Times.
She she mentioned to me how calm Tatum seems and
(30:51):
how level he seems, you know, versus other years going
into the finals, and it just sort of feels like
the same way a couple of years ago it was
Giannis's turn, last year it was Yokic's turn. It feels
like for Tatum and Brown, this is their time. So
I just don't think Dallas has not to ask going
basketball expert or anything. But you know, as good as
(31:14):
Kyrie and and and Luca are offensively, like, I just
don't know that that group has defensively what it's going
to take to slow down the Celtics and off and
so I think this one is probably over and five
games with a couple of blowouts in this thing there.
I don't think it's gonna be the most competitive NBA Finals.
(31:34):
So there you go.
Speaker 4 (31:35):
How about that bang bang from Albert Breer. All right,
that's how it's done.
Speaker 2 (31:40):
To the bank. The bank.

That's right, listen, I'm may I'm a Tartan Fields guy myself,
but again we're just talking Dublin, Ohio golf courses here.
Speaker 3 (34:52):
I'm more of a.
Speaker 4 (34:52):
Tartan guy, so I am out on Mirfield.
Speaker 3 (34:57):
Do you like dresses? Isn't that what Tartans are? Isn't
that hard Fields? Oh man, No disrespect. Tartan is a dress,
isn't it a skirt. A skirt, I'll not a skirt
like a kilt. I say, I.
Speaker 1 (35:11):
Thought kilt would be accurate, right, not a dress.
Speaker 3 (35:14):
I mean I was no, I'm thinking of tartan. I
think I'm pretty right. You all got that.
Speaker 2 (35:20):
I'm not saying you're wrong.
Speaker 1 (35:21):
I'm just saying I think you'd look at it more
as a kilt than you would be a dressed.
Speaker 3 (35:25):
Yeah, I was just being funny.
Speaker 4 (35:26):
I mean, all I know is last time I was
at Tartan Fields, I mean I watched a guy by
the name of fast Eddy hit a rocket off the tee.
Speaker 3 (35:37):
It's long actually patterned cloth? Is it a Tartan? Is
no kidding? Here you go?
Speaker 4 (35:43):
Had some roosters, boneless chicken wings. Oh after playing golf.
Speaker 2 (35:47):
I love rousers.
Speaker 3 (35:48):
Yeah, think about it.
Speaker 4 (35:49):
Had about thirty five a month, about thirty five he
literally brought out four.
Speaker 2 (35:55):
We all gained about after polished.
Speaker 3 (35:58):
Was left over roosters. That sounds amazing.
Speaker 2 (36:03):
It's amazing.
Speaker 3 (36:04):
That does sound really good. Probably should have ended there,
but it fortunately did not.
Speaker 1 (36:08):
You know what, By the way, I'm gonna have to
move the event in the future just to be a
part of Syenne's That's how bad. I want to I
want to go out with you, and I want your
gift too, exactly that too.
Speaker 2 (36:20):
So next year I'm gonna have to bump it back.
We're gonna have to figure this out.
Speaker 3 (36:23):
Word that'd be dope. Yep, be dope, because you know,
I'm getting into golf these days, are you, yeah, trying
to figure it out? You and Kat Williams. Oh yeah,
I seen Kat Williams. I met him on a golf course.
He was like, oh my gosh, I saw you from.
Speaker 9 (36:42):
Far away and you was like tall, and then I
got closer and it was like you're tall. Was still tall,
and then I got up on you and it was
like you're really tall, and I was like, wait, what's up?
Speaker 7 (36:54):
Cat?
Speaker 1 (36:54):
That might be your best impression. That is a really
good impression.
Speaker 3 (37:00):
That and Joe Paterno, if you could just go go
those two. I was like, oh, is that your coach
over there?
Speaker 9 (37:07):
And he was like, Hey, is that Cat Williams the comedian?
Speaker 3 (37:16):
Okay, nuts, nuts? What else? We got lead National Moonshine
Day guys.
Speaker 4 (37:28):
Into the Moon is in Yeah, absolutely, and strawberry you know,
rawberry shortcake. But it was one of the apple pie
I had a sip of it one time and it
was like, all right, I get it.
Speaker 3 (37:45):
I'll never do it again, but I get it.
Speaker 4 (37:46):
Like this will take you from here to Mars in
twenty five seconds.
Speaker 3 (37:52):
I had teammate Corey Ramer used to make some amazing
moonshine man flat apple flavored. Think a my had green
apple pie and and strawberry shortcake was my my jam
that you dipped really good? That is some good. It
was a good dip. Can you get moonshine out here?
Speaker 7 (38:10):
Yo?
Speaker 2 (38:10):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (38:11):
Moonshine now you could get anywhere where you all get
it from. You get it from the Prestige, Prestige liquors.
Prestige Liquors sells moonshine. Everywhere sells moonshine now kidding? Yeah? Wow?
What else you got?
Speaker 4 (38:25):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (38:25):
No, nothing else for today? Oh come on, I've run
ahead of time. I'm out, I'm out out
