You're listening to Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 1 (00:37):
What's the over under on how many times Lee here
is this tonight?
Speaker 3 (00:43):
I don't know that he will hear it tonight if
it comes out of ID be a little late, but
we talked about the alternative version of this and being
named something else that just doesn't rhyme.
Speaker 1 (00:57):
Yeah, definitely does well. It is Two Pros and a
Cup of Joe here on Fox Sports Radio. Brady Quinn,
Jonas Knox with you here speaking of thongs. No, LeVar Arrington,
he will be back on Monday here on the show.
So it's just gonna be BQ and I taking you
all the way up through the end of this hour
at nine am Eastern Time, six o'clock Pacific and we
do it all live from the tire rack dot Com studios.
(01:20):
Tire rack dot com. We'll help you get there, an
unmatched selection, fast free shipping, free road as a protection,
and over ten thousand recommended installers. Tire rack dot com
the way tire buying should be. So we do have
a couple of things to get to now. We did
break down the Trevor Lawrence contract that was announced by
the Jacksonville Jaguars. I don't know if actually they officially
(01:41):
announced it, but it was some NFL insiders who had
it yesterday. You know, if you want to know the
full details and all that and what it means, check
that out in the podcast. Then we, you know, transition over,
you know to the NBA as well too. The NBA
Finals are over. It would be kind of nice to
see the Celtics win tonight and go undefeated on the
(02:03):
road because you could say whatever you want about the
path when you when you don't get beat on the
road the entire playoffs, that's saying something that's pretty impressive.
Speaker 4 (02:12):
So we have a status update on Porzingis.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
I don't I don't think so. I can't imagine he
plays I mean, why would you to me? I always
thought when the injury came out that it's you know,
just what was that injury?
Speaker 4 (02:27):
Again? Did you go back through all what the injury was?
Speaker 1 (02:30):
I don't want to uh something that his leg fell
off basically, Like I would just say that, you know,
it's like the Space Shuttle when those boosters come off,
like something in his leg fell off, and then you know,
we just uh, it is what it is. Like, why
why bring him back? He is questionable?
Speaker 5 (02:45):
Questionable? Yeah, an we all?
Speaker 4 (02:48):
And yes, why would you play?
Speaker 3 (02:52):
You'd play because you want to feel like you're a
part of it, right, I mean that's what it comes
down to.
Speaker 4 (02:56):
You know.
Speaker 1 (02:56):
I'm glad you brought that up because Drew Bledsoe said
something then recently that I think was one hundred percent
spot on, and I love the fact that he thinks
like this. He said, the only reason he sometimes wears
his Super Bowl Championship ring that he won with the
Patriots and when they won that first one, is because
he actually was the guy who had to come into
(03:18):
the I think the AFC title game because Brady got
injured in the AFC Title game and he helped them
win that AFC championship, and that's the only reason he
sometimes wears that ring because he does feel like he
had a small part in things. So I do appreciate that,
you know.
Speaker 3 (03:33):
I think every athlete feels that way, though, Like you
want to feel like you're a part of it if
you're going to be able to do.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
It, you know, because if I didn't play, like if
I was which was the story of my athletic career,
like if I was a member of the Celtics and
I didn't play one single second of the finals, I'd
never wear that ring ever, like not even like not
one time, Like I don't even know that I would
actually try it on. I would have it in a
box and be like, all right, cool, if things go rough,
(03:57):
I'll sell this to somebody on eBay years down the road.
But if I didn't actually have a part in the game,
and at least perzingis played in a couple of games,
and he played well in the first one, so yeah,
I mean, he could still walk around with pride having
that ring. But you know, if you're one of these
guys that's not playing, I would just feel I feel
a little guilty about wearing the ring. So who knows.
Maybe he'll be back at some point if they need him,
(04:19):
but you know, hopefully that they'll get wrapped up later.
On tonight, Dan Hurley did talk about why he made
the decision to not take the Lakers job and go
back to Yukon. He was on the Herd with Colin Coward,
which you can hear on many of these Fox Sports
radio affiliates. Yesterday. Let's take a listen to the still
Yukon head coach.
Speaker 6 (04:40):
I was really excited about the job. I mean, for
us right now we've started practice with you know, with
our current team that's going to go for potentially a
three p This was not a great time for me
to mess around or to go for a leverage play.
Speaker 4 (04:57):
I already had the leverage.
Speaker 6 (04:59):
Back to back Mass championships and the way that we're
doing it and putting players in the NBA and our
culture and the way we play ball. I mean, that's
that's my leverage. Obviously, the opportunity to coach, you know,
one of the biggest brands in all of the sports
landscape in the entire world for somebody that loves basketball
(05:20):
was something that I really owed it to myself and
my family to consider the impact that you can have
on eighteen nineteen year old twenty year olds, the opportunity
obviously to come back to a place and a chance
to go for history, and then all the family considerations
as well. Just there's too many things that kept me here.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
So I mean, look, people may not like the move
or think that he used it to try and get
more money out of Yukon or whatever it is. Listen, like,
who cares whether or not he's trying to get more
money or get or get paid, Like this is reasoning.
He wants to stay Yukon, that's fine. If that was
a strategy. What's the problem.
Speaker 3 (05:55):
I think if you if you're listening, and you can
also go and read the entire interview, there's a few
things that you notice from it. The first is if
there was a leverage play to be made. He talked
about it. With the winning to back to back national championships,
there's an opportunity obviously after that, but also with the
Kentucky job. Remember, I mean Kentucky tried to approach him
about it, and.
Speaker 4 (06:17):
You know that was a no.
Speaker 3 (06:19):
So at that point when you're talking about like re
upping for a contract, like all those things kind of
transpired took place more. Then he talked about, you know,
wanting to come back in part because of the relationships
and really some of the players. It was a caravan
I believe who decided to come back to school as
opposed to going in the NBA.
Speaker 4 (06:39):
Draft, And you, yeah, I think so.
Speaker 3 (06:42):
I think that's the player he referred to in the interview.
But he talked about how he'd say he spoke to
the player. He talked to him about it, and even
though the player understood, there was an element of like, man,
I've literally just talked to this young man about why
he should come back or maybe where the prospects are
about leaving, and now I'm in this position where I'm
(07:02):
about to leave him and leave him high and dry.
He talked about the fact of how that would leave
to school, you know, given that the school would then
be subject to a portal transfer, portal opening, and him
having no ability to protect all those guys from leaving
and decimating what he had built there.
Speaker 4 (07:21):
Like when people talk about.
Speaker 3 (07:22):
Legacies, they talk about what you do, there's another element
to your legacy.
Speaker 4 (07:26):
It's what you leave behind, and do you.
Speaker 3 (07:28):
Allow the person who's behind or a person who comes
after you to succeed because the foundation you built. Like
true leaders look at that as part of their legacy.
If they're really egotistical, they're just looking and be like, well, yeah,
it was me, you know, That's why we were so successful.
Speaker 4 (07:44):
And so once I left, things fell apart.
Speaker 3 (07:47):
But I think the best leaders look to say, like,
I want this to be successful after me, right, like
as a father, as a man like you, one generations
after you to be successful or be you know, happy
and comfort and peace and all that stuff.
Speaker 7 (07:59):
Right.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
So it was a great interview because I thought he
was as forthcoming and real about things as you could get.
I mean, he even talked about the fact that he's
an East Coast guy, how people reminded him that he's
a Jersey guy's and the East Coast guy and are
you really going to fit out in the West Coast
and like brought that up different people who saw him,
you know, while he was traveling in different parts.
Speaker 4 (08:19):
So kind of it was an awesome interview.
Speaker 3 (08:21):
If you haven't listened to it or or want a
chance to read it, go read it because it provides
a little more you know, insight into who Dan Hurley is.
Speaker 1 (08:29):
And also the name Hurley belongs in college hoops, like
for a sport that we struggle because players are transferring
or they're you know, doing the one and done or
just like like all the stuff that people have complained about,
like you can't name any of the top stars anymore,
there's so few and far between. You do need some
recognizable names. And if it's got to be the coaches
(08:50):
that are there, Coach k is gone, Like there's a
lot of legends that have left, the fact that you
got one that's going to stick around for a little while,
like and he's going to go chase, you know, a
third national championship in a row. I get it. It's
the Lakers. I understand that, but I would argue that
the Yukon job right now is bigger in their sport
(09:10):
than the Laker job is in theirs. And I think
that he made the right move sticking around on the
East Coast, and you know, we'll get to see whether
he gets history.
Speaker 3 (09:19):
I'm not going to agree with that, but you know,
I mean the Lakers. He talked about the fact that
the reason why I contemplated because it is the Lakers
and it's a storied franchise and you know, even handled
the questioning about coaching Lebron James and what that would
be and how that would work. I mean, he handled
all of that, you know, in stride and as you
would expect. I mean, no controversy, nothing, you know, coming
(09:40):
out of an interview like this, where other potential candidates
guys could have made it look bad.
Speaker 1 (09:45):
They raised an nd season tournament banner. You lose all
credibility as an organization when you do that.
Speaker 3 (09:52):
How much is that provoked by the NBA wanting them
to celebrate it and be a part of that.
Speaker 1 (09:58):
Well, I mean there's a lot of things the NBA
provokes that you know, you know, you don't have to
go down that road. I just feel like you're above that,
all right. That's like when the Sacramento Kings raised the
banner for their Summer League championship. They got destroyed for it.
It's like, this is why, like, this is why you
haven't had success in the number of years that you've
been around. The Lakers raised an in season tournament banner,
(10:23):
and I hope they took it down. I hope that
was just a joke and they were just placating to
the NBA, like you said, But if that's still up there, disgrace.
If I was Dan Hurley, I'd walk into the arena
and be like, oh God, no, no, no, we play for
real trophies and real championships where I come from. And
then I walk out of the arena. But again to
each their own, all right, so you mentioned it. We
(10:46):
got to get some hope, all right, because the NBA
is looking at a sweep and the NHL is looking
at a sweep as well too in the Stanley Cup Final,
and there's one man who can get us on the
right track to potentially maybe a fifth game, maybe find
some hope for Connor McDavid, one of the faces of
(11:09):
the NHL, Eddie Garcia. Do we have any music for
Ddie that we can play that would be appropriate for
Eddie to to try and provide to us some insight
and hope for the Stanley Cup Final? All right?
Speaker 4 (11:26):
Don't So what do you think combat? I don't know.
Speaker 8 (11:29):
It's the old Fox Sports Hockey theme.
Speaker 1 (11:33):
Yeah, with a laser tracker, Yeah, Eddie?
Speaker 3 (11:37):
Come on, man, how is Edmund tad Eddie shot at
winning a game, let alone getting back in the series.
Speaker 9 (11:43):
I don't think they will.
Speaker 8 (11:45):
Oh, I thought game three was their chance to uh,
to get a win and have some hope, and uh,
that didn't happen.
Speaker 9 (11:53):
That did not happen.
Speaker 8 (11:54):
They made it interesting with a couple of goals in
the third period, but Florida. Florida is the better team.
They got the better go they're better five on five.
The one hope the Oilers had was that their amazing
power play would get some opportunities and they'd convert on it.
And so far, they're zero for ten on the power
play in three games so far. So without that, they
(12:15):
don't have much of a chance. And Connor McDavid, Leon
Dry Settle, they're two big guns, have no goals through
three games, so they've got no chance. They've got no
chance if the power play doesn't worry, they got no chance.
That their two big guns aren't doing anything. And credit
the Panther, it's it's not like they're not trying, it's
not like they're not getting chances. But when they do
get chances, their goalie, Sergey Nebrowski is coming up huge.
Speaker 9 (12:36):
So I think it's I think it's over.
Speaker 1 (12:39):
So I have McDavid's gonna get.
Speaker 8 (12:42):
Killed for this, right, I don't. I mean, I think
in Edmonton, probably not, to be honest with you. He
really changed his game this year to go from you know,
a finisher to a distributor.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
Lot.
Speaker 8 (13:00):
His goals were way down, but his points were way
up because he was trying. He was making everybody around
him better. And that's what that's what you're superstar. You
want them to do it right. I mean, he's done
it the old way, where like scoring all the goals
and they weren't going anywhere in the playoffs. So now
changes his game, looks to make everybody better and they
go to the final. So I think he gets a
ton of credit for that. But you know, yeah, he
(13:23):
hasn't obviously, he hasn't shown up so far this one,
but he's had his chances. I just I have to
give I look at it more as giving credit to
Florida than I do saying he and you know Tricydle
have choked or anything like that.
Speaker 9 (13:35):
But that's me, mister positive.
Speaker 8 (13:36):
I like to give credit to people when they when
they do well, rather than just look to point fingers.
Speaker 9 (13:40):
But I know that's not as fun for sports talk radio.
Speaker 1 (13:43):
I mean, listen, I was trying to tell people, like,
good luck getting anything past John ban Beesbrook, the bez Aer,
the way he's playing this this Stanley Cup playoff.
Speaker 9 (13:52):
I mean, it's a real problem.
Speaker 8 (13:53):
It is interesting in hockey. There's kind of two schools
of thought on do you need to have that big
goalie right, do you need to have that were star
goalie or can you do it with just a guy
and have the rest of the team to be really good.
Last year Vegas they had this guy, Ayden Hill. They
got off the street during the season. He was like
their third goalie and they won the day on the
cups and they you know, they paid him nothing and
(14:15):
that was there.
Speaker 9 (14:15):
There was one school of.
Speaker 8 (14:17):
Thought in hockey, See, you don't need to have that guy.
Don't pay your goalies a ton of money. Well, so
far this year Browsky makes ten million a year. He's
one of the highest paid goalies and he's getting it done.
So it's now the people who were saying you've got
to have that big time, number one star goalie, it's
looking like those people are right this year.
Speaker 9 (14:35):
So it goes back and forth, though.
Speaker 3 (14:37):
EDDI, can I ask you this question watching this series
in Florida Dominate, Like, I don't think anyone could really dispute,
Florida was maybe the best team in these. It doesn't
feel like Edmonton was really the best from the West.
I kind of felt like Dallas might have been that team.
I'm biased, maybe I felt like, you know, Colorado would
have been up there too, right, Is that how you feel?
Speaker 8 (14:57):
Yeah, I picked Dallas at the beginning of the year.
I do have to give the Oilers credit for getting
as far as they have. They had some other guys emerge.
You know, they've got the two big, big names, but
some other guys was stepped it up, unfortunately not in
the not in the final though.
Speaker 9 (15:11):
So far.
Speaker 8 (15:12):
They have this defenseman, Evan Bouchard who's kind of turned
into a star defenseman, but he has not been good
in the final, but they and then there's another guy,
Zach Hyman, who had a huge season for him, but
he hasn't He doesn't have a goal yet in the
final either. So I give like I said, I give
credit to Florida. They're they're in your face for checking,
(15:32):
don't give you any time to breathe, and make you
make mistakes and capitalize on it.
Speaker 1 (15:35):
That's how pissed do you think Canada is that it's
gotten so bad that the last two Stanley Cup champions
are going to be from Las Vegas and Sunrise. They
can't get a Cup in Canada. It's their sport and
it's been completely not amore us. No, that's right, unbelievable.
Speaker 8 (15:54):
No, I think it's I think it's a lot of
people think that the whole nation of Canada is ready
for the Oilers.
Speaker 4 (15:59):
I don't.
Speaker 9 (16:00):
I don't know if that's true.
Speaker 8 (16:01):
Like there's some people that are, but you know, like
like if you're a Maple Lea's fan, you don't, you
don't care about the Oilers.
Speaker 1 (16:09):
You want your team, if you're in if you're in
Calgary or Vancouver, oh yeah, you think you're rooting.
Speaker 9 (16:15):
For the oil the Calgary definitely not.
Speaker 1 (16:17):
Yeah, like I was gonna like you're like, no, that's
your rival.
Speaker 4 (16:20):
You know.
Speaker 3 (16:22):
Do we feel like any of this has to do
with the was the w was the Edmonton fan that
the lady who?
Speaker 4 (16:28):
Oh?
Speaker 9 (16:30):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (16:31):
Yeah. I feel like she's gotten missing in this series
so far.
Speaker 9 (16:34):
Yeah, I have not seen her anywhere.
Speaker 4 (16:36):
It's been a shame.
Speaker 9 (16:37):
I heard there was like.
Speaker 8 (16:39):
A massive woman hunt to uh to find out who
she really was?
Speaker 9 (16:45):
Uh, And I have to the surprise.
Speaker 8 (16:47):
I have not heard that they've actually uh found out
who she was. And I'm sure there's some people that
would like to uh give her some opportunities perhaps for
some other things.
Speaker 1 (16:57):
He Pam Anderson got noticed that a CA Was it
a maple I thought it was.
Speaker 9 (17:00):
A CFL game? Actually?
Speaker 2 (17:02):
Was it?
Speaker 9 (17:02):
I think so?
Speaker 1 (17:03):
I thought it was a Maple Leafs game. Lee, can
we fact check that where Pam Anderson was discovered and
people saw and said, wow, that's interesting.
Speaker 10 (17:11):
Probably uh, and he's right, it was a Canadian Football
League game. But she was of course wearing that cutoff
Labat's blue Labatte's beer T shirt.
Speaker 9 (17:20):
Yeah, famously talking about here.
Speaker 1 (17:25):
All right, so good stuff from Eddie Garcias. There's your
your update. So if you were hoping for an extended
series in the Stanley Cup Final, tough Balls, two pros
and a cup of Joe here on Fox Sports Radio.
By the way, speaking of the Stanley Cup Final, we
should point out that it is well it's football Friday,
you know, stand football Friday.
Speaker 5 (17:42):
You know, like, like, why wouldn't we.
Speaker 11 (17:45):
You know, he's excited about this, We get point, probably right, Yeah,
(18:21):
come on, yeah, all right, Brady, it is a Football
Friday here on Two Pros and a Cup of Joe

here on a Football Friday in the latest edition of Headliner.

Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific

Speaker 7 (19:38):
Hey, We're Cavino and Rich Fox Sports Radio every day
five to seven pm Eastern. But here's the thing. We
never have enough time to get to everything we want
to get.
Speaker 12 (19:46):
To, and that's why we have a brand new podcast
called over Promised. You see, we're having so much fun
in our two hour show. We never get to everything,
honestly because this guy, I'll be over promised in things
we never have time for.
Speaker 7 (19:59):
Yeah, hey, you blubber, Liz Jamen me. Well, you know
what it's called over promise. You should be good at
it because you've been over promising women for years.
Speaker 12 (20:05):
Well, it's a Covino and Rich after show and we
want you to be part of it. We're gonna be
talking sports, of course, but we're also going to talk
life and relationships. And if Rich and I are arguing
about something or we didn't have enough time, it will
continue on our after show called over Promised.
Speaker 7 (20:19):
Well, if you don't get enough Covino and Rich, make
sure you check out over Promise and also Uncensored by
the way, so maybe we'll go at it even a
little harder. It's gonna be the best after show podcast
of all time.
Speaker 12 (20:29):
There you go, over Promising. Remember you could see on YouTube,
but definitely join us. Listen to over Promised with Covino
and Rich on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever
you get your podcasts.
Speaker 1 (20:41):
Two Pros and a cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio
Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here. Coming up later
on this hour a little over fifteen minutes from now
from the tire rack dot Com studios, we are going
to have another edition of You In and You Out
as we close up shop here on a football Friday. Now,
if you are familiar with the show Brady and I
(21:02):
used to do years ago here on FSR on Sunday Nights,
we had a little segment called Headline or Lie. So
it's where we come up with some headlines. They could
be actual headlines or they could be completely made up,
and we take two participants. We'd pit them against each
other to basically represent us on the show, and we
(21:22):
turn it into a fun little competitive battle. Now, the
difference between doing it in this timeslot and the one
we did on Sunday Nights is ninety five percent of
the time, the people on Sunday Nights were half in
the bag or not even halfway in the bag, completely
blistered and would just call into the show. They might
say some inappropriate things. Really had to tiptoe, and it
(21:46):
was a fine line we had to walk to try
and make sure that we didn't get thrown off the
air because of some of the comments that were made.
But we do have full phone lines. Eight seven seven
ninety nine on Fox is the phone number if you
want to be a part of it, eight seven seven
nine six three six nine. We are also tracking the
bet from Live Bet Jesus, which was his live wager
(22:09):
that he made earlier on which included Chess and Headley
to beat Adams Fenson and Mark Hubbard on the fifth
hole at Pinehurst. If I'm not mistaken, I believe they
are on the fifth hole right now. Lee, you will
keep you will be honest about this and not kind
of skew this to make Live Bet Jesus look bad
on the air.
Speaker 5 (22:31):
I'm always fair, Yes, okay, So.
Speaker 1 (22:33):
We will keep you up to speed on that as
well too. But right now, without further ado, it's time
to bring back something we've done so many times before,
but not for a while in this time slot. It's
time for this.
Speaker 2 (22:47):
Is it a headline or is it a lie?
Speaker 4 (22:49):
Let's go to the news desk.
Speaker 2 (22:51):
No, here's Jonas Knox and Brady Quinn, and.
Speaker 1 (22:55):
That sounds just like another segment we do on the show.
I don't know what it is, Brady, Why does that
sound so familiar to me?
Speaker 4 (23:04):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (23:04):
I just thought you'd go to Eddie first. I was
a little surprised. We're doing it this way.
Speaker 1 (23:07):
Now we're fine. Yeah, we're good. I mean, would you

Speaker 1 (23:53):
So Paulie, who do you want to team up with?
Do you want to team up with Brady or myself?
I'll think Brady.
Speaker 3 (24:00):
Let's go ahead. Okay, Yeah, let's bury him. Let's just
bury him.
Speaker 1 (24:04):
So Brady and Pauli, that's those are fun names.
Speaker 3 (24:06):
By the way, Pauli, why didn't you ask if LeVar
was that like Simby's or something?
Speaker 9 (24:12):
Well?
Speaker 3 (24:12):
I thought maybe he always talked about going to the doctor,
and you know, he's got various ailments he needs to
get taken care of. Did it surprise you as a
listener it took him as long as it did to
figure out O his cout?
Speaker 9 (24:23):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (24:23):
No, I would think, you know, with that rich dive.
Speaker 2 (24:25):
That he eat, that would be pretty obvious.
Speaker 1 (24:30):
Okay, And I hope LeVar is not listening, but he's not,
so don't worry about it. All right, So let's go
over to uh we went to line two seventy seven.

Fox Sports Radio, where one is listening in California. One,
what's happening going hey wan you there.
Speaker 4 (24:55):
I'm right here. All right, let's kill one.
Speaker 1 (25:00):
What's a one? You want to team up with me?
You want to take down Brady and Paulie.
Speaker 9 (25:04):
I'm going with a not second.
Speaker 2 (25:06):
Let's get this one.
Speaker 5 (25:09):

Speaker 1 (25:19):
All right, So here's that works.
Speaker 2 (25:21):
I got it.
Speaker 1 (25:21):
Brady and I have headlines. I'm going to read one
to Paulie. Brady's going to read one to one, and
then if we're tied at the end of this list,
we have a tiebreaker question. We'll keep score as we
go along. So let's get it started here. So I
will start with Paully, Brady's partner in Indianapolis.
Speaker 5 (25:39):
Paulie.
Speaker 1 (25:39):

Speaker 4 (26:27):
This is what separates the real listeners from those.
Speaker 1 (26:30):
By the way, that is insult to injury, bringing up
my dead dog, lying lying about the weight. Uh you
know he's three oh five, not to eighty five. And
then we still lose and get it incorrect. All right,
so here we go. Brady's got a lead. Early we

the last one because that one was interesting. How about this?
Speaker 3 (30:22):

we can't confirm nor deny if that is true or not.
But the fact that it has not come out yet
that is a lot.
Speaker 1 (31:04):

Not by the way, great performance by you would watch unbelievable.
Speaker 3 (32:27):
By the way, representing south of the border to it,
it's like.
Speaker 1 (32:32):
It really did turn into the Mexican national soccer team.
Like just came up short. Just every single time on
a big stage, comes up short.
Speaker 8 (32:39):
Yeah, you got the NBA Finals, you got Stanley Goop Finals,
you got that.
Speaker 9 (32:43):
Just clean. Sweet.
Speaker 1 (32:44):
I've lost so much money betting on the Mexican national
team just because of my in laws. So you've tried
to show support. I'm over it now, never doing it again.
Speaker 8 (32:52):
We'll see about that. Let's start off with some golf.

Jesus' pick, Yes, of course, his pick was Chesson Hadley

They all parted for five but through five holes, chest
and Hadley has had the worst days so far.
Speaker 5 (35:07):
He's plus two.
Speaker 1 (35:07):
It's not the bet, Lee, I'm just saying.
Speaker 5 (35:09):
I'm just letting you know, it's just so.
Speaker 4 (35:11):
Not so that. So first off, he lost the bet, correct.
Speaker 5 (35:16):
He definitely didn't win the bet.
Speaker 9 (35:18):
Well, yeah, he lost the bet.
Speaker 4 (35:20):
He had to win the hole, that is true, Okay.
Speaker 3 (35:22):
And then on top of that, he picked a golf
that's playing worst than the other two in the group.
Speaker 5 (35:26):
That is also true.
Speaker 4 (35:27):
Awesome, awesome, I mean that's when you get here on
the show, live bet loser.
Speaker 1 (35:32):
I mean, at least he had the balls to show up.
You know some people.
Speaker 5 (35:36):
By the way, he's currently tied plus.
Speaker 3 (35:39):
Watch guys try to land balls and keep balls in
the great Maybe they're right, it looks extremely putative.
Speaker 1 (35:46):
Now do you think they're going to try and make
it a little bit easier for the weekend? You think
they can do it.
Speaker 4 (35:51):
I think it's just going to stay the same.
Speaker 1 (35:54):
I heard them talk about some sort of Bermuda grass
they were they had on the course or something like that. Yesterday.
They were trying to just describe the grass, and it's
like listen, just whatever it is, like, just I mean,
at least water the grass. It doesn't look like it's
you know, seen a rain drop in like four or
five years. Like just like do something to like make
it a little bit more presentable. And where's Tiger Woods?
(36:17):
By the way, where's he at is? Is he still
going to make the cut or is he not going
to make the cut? What are we looking at there?
Eddie's got to hit.
Speaker 8 (36:25):
Hit it a little up and down day yesterday he
will start the day four over and the projected cut

Guys, it's a Father's Day weekend? What are you in
or out on? Are you you in on getting a
tie or are you in on manning the grill?
Speaker 5 (37:50):
What's your kind of Father's Day go to?
Speaker 1 (37:53):
I don't know. I'm I don't like.
Speaker 4 (37:56):
Uh, I don't want to be celebrated anyway. Yeah, I'd
rather just hang with my dad.
Speaker 1 (38:01):
I'm kind of kind of the same.
Speaker 9 (38:03):
Well, that's I got out.
Speaker 3 (38:08):
That's the tough part about holidays like this is even
though there's for many people out there, they get to celebrate.
For others out there, that's it could be a sad
day man, especially if they lost a parent of loved
one recently. You know, you're just reminded of that. But
hopefully you're you're remember the good stuff, right.
Speaker 1 (38:23):
Okay, Yeah, I have a couple of uh you know
if I mean, if you're into it, I have a
couple of throat burners, and you know, try and enjoy
it as best you can. But I'm like, like if
at some point my wife's going to be like, what
do you want to do for and I'm like, I
don't nothing, Like, it's not I just you know, there's
nothing really to you know, is what it is like?
You you know, to me every day, you know the
way the way I always put it, every day is
(38:44):
Father's Day, you know what I mean, It's an honor.
I mean I would appreciate if he didn't talk back
to me as much as he did. That would be great,
just for one day. Just don't do that.
Speaker 4 (38:53):
It's Spanish or English both, Yeah, well he's Spanish. You
can't really understand him, right.
Speaker 1 (38:57):
He's a real dual threat. Guy. Like, I don't know
what it is like he just uh, and yeah, there
is that. I don't know if he's cursing me out
or not or just ordering food, Like it's just he's uh,
you know, he could be one or the other. What
else we got lee?
Speaker 10 (39:11):
June fourteenth is Flag Day, so everybody rocked the flag.
If you don't know what flag Day is, it marks
the second Continental Congress's adoption of the first US national flag.
Speaker 1 (39:21):
So in hell yeah, hell yeah love Flag Day. By
the way, you see, like you go to O'Hare Airport,
like they've got every single flag. Like when you walk
through the airport, it's mass not really from midway, a
little easier to navigate. What else we can't out lying there?
Speaker 9 (39:38):
That's that's for sure.
Speaker 5 (39:39):
Guys.
Speaker 10 (39:40):
There's a report out there that NFL coaches unnamed NFL coaches,
but NFL coaches have been contacting the EA sports staff
and have created a mutually beneficial relationship. They're doing a
weekly call trying to figure out this kickoff, the new
kickoff rules. So they're they're asking the staff how how
to best strategize working the kickoff, and meanwhile the staff
(40:00):
gets some inside knowledge from the coaches.
Speaker 4 (40:02):
Yeah, that's interesting to me.
Speaker 3 (40:04):
Like once you think maybe someone of EA is on
the take, you know, yeah, come out.
Speaker 4 (40:07):
I'd be a little concerned about that.
Speaker 3 (40:09):
I think the NFL needs to get involved here, Get
the NFL oppice involved. See if they're not placing a
bunch of bets for mea. Isn't that like it's not
an Elsa Gundo. Where's their office set out there in Cali?
Speaker 1 (40:20):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (40:22):
I thought it used to be somewhere around Marina del Rey.
Could be wrong.
Speaker 2 (40:28):
I just I don't know.
Speaker 1 (40:31):
I just I want to watch football. I don't want
to have the influence of the video game. That's what
I want, and this kind of bothers me. So I'm
out on this league completely out.
Speaker 5 (40:39):
All right, guys.
Speaker 10 (40:40):
Well it's a week late, but Bad Boys Ride or
Die third movie with the Will Smith and Martinage.
Speaker 3 (40:46):
I've heard it's good, but I probably won't be able
to watch it because I'm watching other stuff.
Speaker 4 (40:51):
With my kids.
Speaker 5 (40:51):
Well, you got Inside Out two coming out today. If
you're in or.
Speaker 4 (40:54):
Out on that out inside Out too?
Speaker 5 (40:57):
Inside Out too?
Speaker 4 (40:58):
What is that?
Speaker 5 (40:59):
It's more like the Shians have, you know, their own
I don't know, Pixar, Pixar movie, who knows?
Speaker 1 (41:10):
Maybe Lee will be out later this weekend.
