Speaker 2 (00:33):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 3 (00:39):
By the way, I have a Derek White bust in
his face and was happy about it. Yeah, I mean
Lively just smashed ye. Bang.
Speaker 1 (00:49):
I mean, what's the point of wearing a mouthpiece When
your mouthpiece is called.
Speaker 3 (00:53):
To work for you it doesn't work. How does that work?
That sucks? Dang? Also, did you see they Apparently what
they were playing for is they've got a noon flight
today to Miami for a few days, so they're not
doing the parade anytime soon. Apparently they're all as a
team going to Miami for a few days, like it was.
(01:14):
Wonder whether that's all about. I don't know, what do
you think? I wonder who's joining them on that trip.
What are they house shopping you think? I don't think
they're house shopping, you don't think. I mean, but you
can't spell house without spelling dab.
Speaker 1 (01:35):
I wonder if the avid sports fan out there, Kyle,
what what just happened there?
Speaker 3 (01:39):
Well? Me, listen, they want to go party, Like wouldn't
you like, would you rather go to Miami or Vegas?
Speaker 1 (01:44):
Like if you could party somewhere, where would you rather go?
I mean, you can't go wrong with either one, you
know one. I mean, they're both about the same type
of business. They both have the same type of business opportunities.
(02:04):
It's just different type of settings and environments in some ways.
You know, one has beaches and ocean front, the other
has casinos and different fronts.
Speaker 3 (02:19):
Yeah, but if you've got a sweet pool set up,
do you really need the ocean front? Like it feels
like Vegas has got a pool. See, like you were
talking about Vegas. You went there one time. It didn't
realize that you were on like a euro a euro
pool where people are just walking out with their now
And I've never experienced that. In Miami. People got their
(02:39):
cash and prizes out there.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
I mean, but a lot of them were like that
old lady and something about Mary, the one that looked
like she had leather skin. You remember always was Tanning.
I don't, oh Man cold coke. I wouldn't. I mean
it's not You don't have to go look at the
movie just so you can see that part.
Speaker 3 (02:56):
Can we didn't we find out she was.
Speaker 1 (02:59):
The same lady and some other or she's like really
good looking in person.
Speaker 3 (03:03):
The pin she was one in Kingpin who was his landlord?
Who did the tongue?
Speaker 1 (03:10):
Yeah, she was on boat trip too, wasn't she Wasn't
she like the cheerleading coach for like the Dutch cheerleading
or swimsuit team.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
Not a cheerleader swimsuit team. Anyway.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
The point is is that, yeah, that pool had some
they were they were senior citizens that were that were
more in into the whole idea of it being a
euro pool.
Speaker 3 (03:33):
That makes sense.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
You didn't see very many like the same type of
talent that you know they probably run into, you know,
in other places in Vegas or in Miami.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
Yeah, no, I get it. Yeah, well listen, it'll be
a fun time. So apparently they're off at new for them,
and they head down to Miami for a few days
and then they'll have their parade whenever they decide they
have their parade. But it is a two pros and
a cup of joe. Here on Fox Sports Radium. We
are doing this show live from the tire rack dot
Com studios. Ti rack dot com. We'll help you get
there and unmett selection, fast free shipping, pre road has
(04:10):
a protection and over ten thousand recommended installers. Tire rack
dot com the way tire buying should be. So the
NBA Finals are done. The Celtics beat the Mavericks in
five games. They lost three times all postseason. It's their
eighteenth championship for the franchise. And we decided, you know,
(04:30):
before the matchups started, why don't we go ahead and
take our best guess, Like, why don't we take our
shot at trying to predict and project what is going
to happen in the NBA Finals. And so we did
some over unders specifically for the NBA Finals. And now
we take a look back.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
Time to put your money where your mouth is.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
I have been losing. You know, you're aligning low life
gamble the January.
Speaker 4 (04:57):
It's over under all, right to lead to lap how's
this looking? Looking close? It was a close one down
to the Wired.
Speaker 5 (05:04):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (05:04):
We always started with games in the finals. We had
it at five and a half. We all wanted it
to go over, but Jonas, you were the only one
who took the under good job on that, of course,
and last night in Game five.
Speaker 3 (05:16):
I am to the NBA what LeVar is to the
w n B, A and different. That is my knowledge.
That is why I'm equipped to do this show because
I'm an NBA insider and analyst, much like LaVar is
when it comes to the wn.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
And don't forget abbot sports fan. Yeah, don't forget that.
That's that's the saying of the day. We are we
are on we are on air talking sports because you
know what we are, the abbot sports fan.
Speaker 3 (05:44):
I gotta ask you who said that? Why?
Speaker 1 (05:48):
I don't even remember I mentioned them on the show
I had time on.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
Do you always have my little Twitter exchange yesterday? Is
that a tweet from somebody? Yeah? Oh, because they were
upside about the w NBA.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
Yeah, like coming at me like over done, like again
that mock outrage.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
You got one.
Speaker 1 (06:03):
Basketball dad out here that that is all in on
trying to make sure sports are even for for his daughter.
Speaker 3 (06:10):
And he probably got in his feelings.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
Sorry if I was just giving you the real, the
real of what the real is. But the average person,
even a person that watch sports, is not into the
w NBA. And that's not me throwing shade at the
w n B A. I got respect for all athletes.
That doesn't mean that I gotta be all into watching
it and knowing it.
Speaker 3 (06:31):
And by the way, if you want w NBA coverage,
there's an entire network that's inundated with w NBA coverage.
Speaker 1 (06:37):
I mean, you know what bothers me is when somebody
takes the time to write a whole message to me
about why what they tune in for. I don't tune
in to hear.
Speaker 3 (06:49):
You say that, bitch, don't tune in. Go somewhere else. Right, Like,
we're here to talk sports.
Speaker 1 (06:58):
From our and we get paid to be personalities. We're
not paid to be. Are you paid to be a
straight up, like breakdown analyst of sports?
Speaker 3 (07:11):
Yeah? Are you that guy? I've an accident on on
my last hand. I'm perfect because I ain't it.
Speaker 1 (07:18):
That ain't what they told me my role was on
this show, So thank goodness for that. I'm pretty good.
I know sports but I'm not sitting here. I'm not
doing all that. Like, you got enough people out there
that do that, especially on that other network. I just
like talking that's about sports, Like I'm in the barbershop
or somewhere else with the homies kicking it.
Speaker 3 (07:39):
That's all. What else you got? Lee?
Speaker 4 (07:41):
Guys, we had a number of ejections in the finals
and a half could jump by YouTube. Thank you of
course taking the under. I don't know why Brady took
the over, but he did.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
I mean, it could have happened. You didn't know what
type of series it could have been. It was a
very civilized series.
Speaker 3 (07:54):
What was the dirtiest plump trail? Was it? PJ Washington
throwing Porzingis to the ground last night? Was that the
dirtiest place? Was like, oh, we're going to play physical
a night like that was a physical move, like all right,
looked like he was his shoulders and then got rid
of Oh so I forgot to bring this up earlier.
Why is Loraina so pissed off all of a sudden
(08:16):
she's a Mavericks fan? Like, is this because the Mavericks lost?
Lorena feels like it feels like she's pissed off that
Dallas lost that series.
Speaker 4 (08:24):
It was an emotional game.
Speaker 2 (08:25):
Guy.
Speaker 3 (08:26):
Why because I've never watched basketball before and I was
really into it.
Speaker 4 (08:32):
He Coop was looking to me like, who are you so?
Speaker 3 (08:36):
Who's your team? Are you? Are you Dallas? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (08:38):
Apparently I was on Dallas's side.
Speaker 3 (08:40):
Wait a second, you're from Oregon. Shouldn't be a Portland fan. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (08:45):
I never caught onto them when I lived up there.
Speaker 1 (08:47):
Jeez, Ryan, I never caught on to wearing uh foot
thongs without socks either, though, So you know she should always.
Speaker 3 (08:56):
Wear socks with your sandals. She's got like judgment taking
place here.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
She does big old thick sock with a with.
Speaker 3 (09:05):
A LeVar is very perplexed by, uh get it as
she was able to wear sandals or thongs with with
socks on.
Speaker 1 (09:14):
Yeah, I just don't get it. Yeah, when samuraized do it?
Speaker 3 (09:18):
What else we got?
Speaker 4 (09:19):
And before the playoffs, Lorena picked the Mavericks to win
the whole series.
Speaker 3 (09:23):
The whole final, the whole thing. Hey, welcome to the
Club of Bad Picks. All the story of my life
and I just squished a roach. Oh gee, all right,
what like just now right now? Yeah, it's still alive too.
They are fighters. Where was it? It was crawling across
the screen, the screen in front of you. They're climbing things.
Speaker 4 (09:45):
Now, that's what they do, Tang. That's crazy, but not, you.
Speaker 3 (09:51):
Know, not a whole roach. It was. It was some
kind of bug. What you what? God throw it away
like broke off in section and spread out a little
bit like, hey, you take the laptop, I'll take the
bathroom floor transformer. Roaches, Eh, just keep your bags off
the floor. Yo. Hey Larady, you're the one that's always
(10:14):
got snacks in there. You should be concerned. You're gonna
have a saltine cracker with a little, uh little visit.
Sooner or later you track roaches with your bags. By
the way that roach goes through Lee's bag, they'll smell
(10:35):
like Jim Beam. There literally was a roach that crawled
across your.
Speaker 1 (10:46):
I think that's more about you than it is about
anything else.
Speaker 3 (10:50):
I'm just saying my personal laptop. I don't know, man,
And he just like nonchalant le squitched it with his
hand and continued on one yesterday. What do you mean
he's they're attracted to what they smell, you know what
I mean? You small was going across the desk. You
(11:11):
pimp slapped a road yesterday. I mean, that's nothing compared
to when he decapitated the bat. Yeh, true, decapitated a bat.
He was trying to save it, Lorena, and he ended
up sorry.
Speaker 1 (11:27):
I mean that's the story he gave that he was
trying to save it. I saw the way he hit it.
I mean he definitely took it out.
Speaker 3 (11:33):
Of the ballpark by the way they got the message.
There hasn't been a bat there has not been once since.
I don't go near those guys.
Speaker 1 (11:40):
Dang, Oh my god, god, dang. Jonas cousin come to
visit and got his head knocked off.
Speaker 3 (11:48):
Why are you a baddist? Damn? I hate him? What
else you got?
Speaker 4 (12:00):
We had a number of overtime games.
Speaker 3 (12:03):
None there again, good job by you.
Speaker 4 (12:04):
Two no overtime games in the in the finals, Brady
took the over bad job.
Speaker 3 (12:08):
By Brady along that same lines game winning buzzer beaters.
Speaker 4 (12:13):
Noneed there and everybody took the under so good jobs there.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
Well, I'm thinking about how many close games were there.
It's fine, none, you know what I mean, Like, I'm
looking at it going either way. Really hold look game three,
not really? I mean what's considered close. I mean Game
one the Celtics won by eighteen. Game two they won
(12:38):
by seven, But is that close? Not? No, it was
it wasn't really close. Game three they won by seven.
The MAVs run by like two hundred and Game four
so that they could go back home and beat them. Yeah, boy,
what I mean?
Speaker 1 (12:51):
Did it make it that all the more obvious that
the Celtics were taking.
Speaker 3 (12:57):
Them back home to win in Boston? Yeah? What a bat?
Speaker 1 (13:00):
I mean, come on, you don't lose that bad the
game before and then come out and whoop.
Speaker 3 (13:04):
Their ass like that in the next game.
Speaker 1 (13:06):
Like they literally showed the whole world how the NBA works.
Speaker 3 (13:10):
Man? What else we got? Lee?
Speaker 4 (13:12):
We had road winds in the finals at one and
a half, Brady and LeVar, you guys took the under
good job. There was only the one, of course, Boston.
Game three, Yes, in falls.
Speaker 3 (13:22):
Damn guess that gave me the lead right there, didn't it?
Speaker 2 (13:24):
Wow?
Speaker 3 (13:25):
Hold on? Hold on? Why would I have made that pick? Like,
now that I think about it, if I thought the
Celtics were gonna win in five, why would I have
made that pick? I thought it was weird that said,
Hold on. This is where.
Speaker 4 (13:36):
Why do you talk me out of it? I tried to,
but we ran out of time. That didn't make any sense. Yeah,
but he definitely tried to help you. I'm sure. I'm
sure we'll hear how Lee helped you.
Speaker 3 (13:47):
As we get further into this where Jonas comes out
on top. Here we go. Come on, let's keep going
by the way. I said, I'm in the lead. Now said, well,
hold on, by the way. Just Lee just killed a
transformer road. Yes he did. Has not touched the hand
sanitizer with a big old bottle of it in front
(14:08):
of him too, and wipes behind him. Damnan, roaches, love
your smell?
Speaker 1 (14:15):
Brother, Talk about being attractive, You're just attracting the wrong
s Lee got this natural romo about it, you know
what I mean? What else we got starts with s
ends with rhymes with it. Lastly, Finals MVP, there was
(14:40):
a toss up. It was Tatum or don versus the field.
Speaker 3 (14:45):
I said the field.
Speaker 4 (14:46):
You did take the field along with Brady and Jonas.
You took either Tatum or Do.
Speaker 3 (14:50):
I won that. I gotta be in the I gotta
be in the least. So what is the Roaches email?
What was that? Let's meet after the show. I want
me for breakfast, some coffee. Hey, I'm looking to you.
What's the tally?
Speaker 4 (15:10):
Final tally Fellas Brady final spot three and three, Jonas
four and six. LeVar takes the win with the five
and one.
Speaker 3 (15:19):
Good job, LeVar, I was four and now I didn't
have to quit. Oh sorry, four and to I don't know.
I didn't we do seven. We ran out of time.
Speaker 4 (15:27):
We had seven ready to go, but we couldn't get
too doesn't matter.
Speaker 3 (15:33):
The worst winner in the world. Yes, what was the
seventh going to beg you Brady? Wherever you at?
Speaker 4 (15:40):
You sank it was gonna be points in Boston, Gus
what two and a half?
Speaker 3 (15:47):
I won? Damn yes because of that damn MVP vote. Yes, rude,
Hey Eddie over Mac Yeah, they bro appreciate the support.
All right there it is to recap on over Unders
totally miners. It is two pros and a cup of Joe.
Here on Fox Sports Radio, Arrington Jonas knocked to you,
(16:12):
come on TXT.
Speaker 4 (16:14):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (16:15):

was handed out, and there's one person on this show
who can fix everything. We'll explain why. That is next
here on FSR.

Speaker 3 (17:11):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Jonas Knox with the Area. You remember j R.
Smith just walking around with without a shirt on. I
didn't think he showered. He was still in his basketball shorts.
And after the Calves beat the Warriors in twenty sixteen,
they went, I think immediately to Las Vegas and he
(17:33):
just went as is, and I think he just walked
around the entire time without a shirt. I mean, why not? Well,
I mean I can think of a few reasons why
I wouldn't do it really well, Yeah, Somelight, you don't
look like him, that's supposed to me. You're not built
like him. You don't have as many tattoos as him,
(17:53):
even though you do have tattoos, and they ain't great.
They're not great. Those are Those are rough decisions that
were made out at some point in my life. But
you know, at least I took the lebrette out. You know,
I had the librett piercing. You know, at least I
got that gone. That's no longer there. But yeah, I
(18:14):
had a lib brette. I'm I'm not proud of it.
It is what it is. Man. People make mistakes sometimes
growing up. It just sounds like gross. Uh. But for
those who don't know, lebrette piercing is like the ball.
Some people do the hoop in the on the bottom lip,
but I had the ball that went underneath the bottom lip.
You kind of a freak broh. Yeah, some people call
(18:35):
it the tickler. I hear some people do. That's what
I heard. Yeah, all right, it's a little Brett coming up.
And in about twenty minutes from now from the Tyraq
dot Com studios, we are going to have another edition
of would You Rather? This is where lead to Lap
(18:56):
really shines because he has come up with several questions.
We've got to make tough decisions on the air, and
we will do that together with you coming up here
at about twenty minutes from now on Fox Sports Radio.
So you are a college football Hall of Famer, Lebary.
For those of you that aren't familiar, LeVar is a
(19:17):
college football Hall of Famer. All right, it's pretty cool.
If you don't think so, just listen to the open
every single hour it is pointed out and noted like backhand,
it's shake. What do you do right now? Ten dollars?
Right now? Ten dollars? So, man, I was like that,
I was proud of you, like thank you for giving
(19:38):
me some prizes. It's kind of turned into something different. Oh,
come on, go ahead, man. So the point is you,
of all people, I feel like, has a little bit
of stroke, Like you've got a little bit of poll here.
All right. When it comes to the college Football Hall
of Fame, it's an exclusive class, all right. It is
rarefied air. It is the best of the best, but
(19:59):
I feel like, once behind the velvet ropes, you have
the ability to make some changes. Uh oh. And I
say all that to say this, Less Miles is pissed.
Les Miles is suing LSU for vacated wins, which has
dropped him below the threshold for the College Football Hall
(20:20):
of Fame. So his winning percentage has taken a dip
because of those vacated wins from LSU. His complaint is
that a lot of this had to do with other sports,
not football. They just got caught up in the windstorm
of the punishment basketball, he pointed out, etc. Etc. But
the point is Les Miles was looking at this like,
hey man, I have an opportunity to be a college
(20:41):
Football Hall of Fame coach, and now I can't because
of these vacated wins. And I feel like there's anybody
that could do something. You've talked to the people at
the College Football Hall of Fame. All right, you're in
the exclusive class. Can't you pull a couple of strings
and try and get less Miles into the College Football
Hall of Fame? I could couple of exceptions. So what
are we thinking here? I'm choking. So it's just a
(21:05):
hard line thing right, like you have to be this, this,
and the It's not like other hall of fames to
where it can be. You know, it's up to you know,
whatever the person believes. Like, you know, you can factor
in different things. With the college football Hall of Fame,
it's you must have had this go on, that go on,
a six hundred winning percentage, so on and so forth.
(21:26):
So there's like a a hard there.
Speaker 1 (21:28):
Are sex criterias, yeah, because there's so many people. It's
like way more than the league. So it's just so
you know, you gotta lay down some ground rules to
be able to actually get it right. I would assume
there are so many dudes that aren't in the Hall
(21:50):
of Fame that should be in the Hall of Fame.
I'll say that, yeah, we work with one of them.
I think Brady should be in the Hall of Fame.
I mean I've said that, I've said that brilliant college career.
There are there are a ton of guys that should
be in. So that's just one of those deals where
hopefully if they're supposed to get in, they'll eventually they'll
(22:15):
get in. I mean, I'm just speaking for myself. I
just went in like in twenty two. I went in
in twenty two. I left college in ninety nine, so
I was a two times All American.
Speaker 3 (22:31):
I was.
Speaker 1 (22:32):
I'm still the only true sophomore to have ever been
voted to Defensive MVP of the Big Ten. No one's
ever done it. Still haven't done it. And you know,
twenty two years later was when I got a call,
I got the ball. So did you cry? I didn't cry,
(22:55):
but I was definitely emotional.
Speaker 3 (22:56):
Man.
Speaker 1 (22:57):
That was the one I wanted, even if I had
met the Pro Hall of Fame, which I did want
to make the Pro Hall of Fame obviously, but college
was the one that I wanted, you know, obviously I
finished the league with a different team. I mean now
nowadays college is kind of treated like like the pros,
(23:17):
like you leverage the transfer portal and there's no real loyalties.
Speaker 3 (23:24):
To the school that you're at.
Speaker 1 (23:27):
It's only what you can get out of that school
that that really is the extent of relationships now. And
I think that that's really sad when you think about
the idea of what that that means connected.
Speaker 3 (23:38):
To your legacy.
Speaker 1 (23:40):
And so for me, I always wanted I always wanted
the College Football Hall of fame because it was the
legacy of what I represented at Penn State that meant
the most to me out of anything. And so when
when I got that opportunity to go in and get
you know, get that bid, the amount of pride that
(24:02):
I feel like when I walk or float as I mentioned,
on Penn State campus and in and around the area,
which I'll be going there this Thursday, by.
Speaker 3 (24:10):
The way, State College.
Speaker 1 (24:11):
Yeah, man Man's on his official visit to Penn State
this week. I just I just feel a different sense
of pride than I do anywhere else. And so to me,
I felt like the intensity of that went to a
whole nother level when I got inducted into the College
Football Hall of Fame. So I understand what Lesson is
(24:34):
hoping for, especially being someone who experienced vacated victories. If
you don't, if you recall when all that stuff went
down with Penn State and they vacated all the all
of those ones back to ninety seven, I believe it
was for Joe that that basically in essence, wipe my
(24:57):
wipe my college career clean. Like if you think about it,
I probably my stats are very limited because I didn't
do very much my freshman year and the year that
I got defensive MVP into Big Ten and did some
tremendous things that year and then had a better year
my junior year. It would have been wiped clean from
(25:19):
from the slate because they were vacated. Now they restored
them and they put them back. But I don't know
what that looks like if for some reason it was
upheld to not reinstate those you know, those those seasons.
So I get it, and he may not get another
head coaching job where he can take that winning percentage
(25:41):
up or where he can do something to put himself
in in a way to to you know, get into
the Hall of Fame.
Speaker 3 (25:49):
That that's kind of what I thought when I first
saw the that he filed suit. I'm like, that's probably
also an admission that, yeah, my days of being a
coach and having an opportunity to chase this down are
probably gone. And if you're on the borderline of being
a Hall of Famer, the fact that he's got to
sit there on the outside looking in because of this,
(26:09):
I can understand the frustration. It doesn't mean like he
didn't have some involvement in any of it, and there
was obviously stuff that went on, you know, when he
went over to Kansas and whatnot. But I look at
it and I go, yeah, that sucks, man, like that
that is that that's a rough thing to have that
you can't find peace with your career because you can't
find closure with it. And the closure would be going
(26:32):
into the Hall of Fame. And that's just not going
to happen the way it stands right now. That's going
to be a rough way to go. Ben. I would
love to be a Hall of Famer in anything.
Speaker 1 (26:40):
I would love for us to be a Hall of
Famer and doing sports talk radio. At some point, I
would love for us to get an award or be
nominatedly for some type of an award. Moving moving forward,
at some point.
Speaker 3 (26:52):
What could we get, Like what kind of a reward
could we get? Lee? Is there like a is there
a category that would be that we would be like
featured and like have a really good shot at winning
most grab ass radio show. We could do that. Wow,
we could do that. I mean I'd like to. I
mean I'd like to gamble on it, to be honest with.
Speaker 4 (27:10):
You, best Gambler's Best. Uh yeah, we could do that one.
Speaker 3 (27:12):
Well, I don't see. I don't think best. I would
just say the most most frequent worst gamblers. We could
definitely win that one. Yeah, we were having a serious conversation.
We get a little bit of support from uh, from Lee.
Speaker 1 (27:25):
And that's probably why we haven't been nominated for anything.
Oh yeah, if you don't have your producer believe and
then you know, how's that going to work out?
Speaker 3 (27:33):
Tang Rain had jumped all along? Loll rad Is that
in the drop? Is that Mike Tyce? I'm almost positive
that's Mike Tyce former Viking. Yeah, it doesn't say let's
play that again, lady. Oh yeah, Mike. Uh. But yeah.
The point is we would like, we need a little
(27:54):
bit of support if we want to win some awards here,
and Lee's not helping us at all in any way whatsoever. Clearly,
come on leave, I believe in you. Yeah, but we
need some help. We were like, we want to get
some awards here. He didn't name one real award.
Speaker 1 (28:07):
No, it's messed up, man, it's the most Attractive Roaches
and Studio Award.
Speaker 3 (28:13):
Not anymore.
Speaker 4 (28:14):
By the way, there is a streak on that screen.
Oh what was left over? There's a lot of streets
on this screen. Yeah yeah, it is uh.
Speaker 3 (28:25):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe here on Fox
Sports Radio and coming up next here we are going
to have a Tuesday tradition. It's another edition of would
You Rather? Right here on FSR.
Speaker 2 (28:34):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am Pacific.
Speaker 3 (28:45):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio,
LeVar Arrington, Jonas Knox with you here coming up top
of next hour about fifteen minutes from now from the
tireraq dot com studios, we are going to hear from
some of the combatants in last night's close out game
(29:06):
in the NBA Finals because there will be some criticism
that will be brought forth. That'll be happening a little
over fifteen minutes from now. I would like to say
this that people are very creative. They're very creative. There
was that viral clip that went around of after the
Dallas Mavericks won the Western Conference Finals where Luca's drinking
(29:27):
a beer in the locker room. I think it's like
a sipporo and he's drinking his beer and then Michael Finley,
who works with the MAVs front office, came by and
took the beer out of his hands. It was really
kind of weird, almost like a parenting move. And somebody
has doctored the clip now and they've put a Celtics
(29:51):
logo over Michael Finley's face and the Larry O'Brien trophy
and Luca's hand and the Celtics are taking the trophy
out of his like people are so cruel, literally, like
the worst moment of his professional career and he can't
even get on social media without some candy ass doctoring
(30:14):
a video Michael Finley taking a beer out of his hand.
They turned it into a Larry O'Brian trophy. What did
I say? The the internet is undefeated? Oh man, it's
just crazy memes than for the internet it is. It
is really really creative. But again, we will have more
on the NBA Finals coming up a little over twelve
(30:37):
minutes a while, so well, we'll hear from the from
some of the participants who who are going to stop
by a little over ten minutes from now. By the way,
before we get to another edition of would you Rather Though,
shortly after the show, our podcast will be going up.
So if you've missed any of today's show, including how
one Man was able to multitask doing a segment and
(31:00):
killing a roach at the same time, all you have
to do is search two Pros wherever you get your podcasts.
Be sure to also follow rate and review the pod. Again.
Just search two Pros wherever you get your podcast. You'll
see this show posted right after we get off the air.
Let's make history and now.
Speaker 2 (31:16):
Would you rather your random topics, sports or otherwise?
Speaker 3 (31:24):
All right, lead to lab What do we got this week?
Speaker 4 (31:26):
All right, fellas, would you rather see the Celtics repeat
next season or the Lakers draft?
Speaker 3 (31:31):
BROWNI did you.
Speaker 1 (31:33):
See the commercial of this year's upcoming draft? And they
start showing all like the high profile prospects that were
going in, and it was like a quick montage of
showing them, and they had Bronny in it.
Speaker 3 (31:46):
Well, he's probably one of the bigger names. It's crazy,
you know. I rather see the Celtics repeat. Yeah, I'm
with a bar I just more realistic and by the way,
I'm just off the top ahead. They're bringing virtually everybody back,
so they're gonna have a really good shot and they're young,
(32:08):
like they're gonna have a really good shot at a
potentially doing this again. Now they could run into a
team that gets on health did yeah, and then next thing,
you know, they don't get the injury luck or the
injury you know, fortune that they got this year. But
I mean, there is a chance that they could get
it done. If I'm not mistaken, I believe they are
the favorites right now just looking ahead the next year. Yeah,
(32:31):
they're the favorites right now at plus two ninety and
the Denver Nuggets are plus eight hundred. So yeah, there's that.
What else we got?
Speaker 4 (32:40):
Lead, Guys, which fight would you rather see canceled indefinitely
or forever? Is Connor McGregor versus Michael Chandler or the
Mike Tyson versus Jake Paul McGregor.
Speaker 3 (32:52):
I'd actually want to see Mike and Jake Paul fight.
Would I would rather see the Tyson Jake Paul fight
cancel The contomercgregor thing is weird because he has not
fought since he snapped his leg in that fight, and
there's conflicting reports that there's an injury to that leg
again that he had because he had the titanium rod
(33:15):
put in the leg and there was an injury to
that leg. And then Chale son In, who's a former
UFC fighter former you know, he just actually boxed over
the weekend in an exhibition fight against Anderson Silva. I
think he is alluding to the fact that maybe McGregor's
in rehab. Now I don't know if that's true, like
like substance abuse. Yeah, oh wow, and maybe that's what's
(33:37):
going on. There's no like nobody else is saying that, like, uh,
he's just kind of hinted at it, but you know,
everybody else is saying that it's an injury. And I
just I'm trying to figure out what the hell's going
on with that because they have not announced when that
fight is actually going to take place, and Michael Chandler
has sat out for like two years waiting for this
payday and it's never happened yet. So what else we got?
Speaker 4 (33:58):
League guys, if your life depended on it, would you
rather eat six hot dogs a day for a year
or drink a gall of milk a day for a year?
Speaker 3 (34:05):
Hot dogs? If I drink AIGs hot dogs? Oh yeah,
I do. Hot dog? If I drink. If I drink
a gallon of milk, like, I wouldn't even bother wearing socks.
Speaker 1 (34:14):
I probably would start throwing up at some point in time.
Eating six hot dogs a day though, like, I'll probably
get gross space out. Yeah, I mean, you could eat
six hot dogs during the course of a day comfortably,
but I just think I'd get tired of it.
Speaker 3 (34:29):
Now, Lee, are we talking about like ballpark hot dogs,
which seem to be.
Speaker 1 (34:34):
If it's the best tasting hot dog, like I can
grill it and stuff like that.
Speaker 3 (34:38):
Yeah, yeah, I'm in. I'm in on that. By the way,
this is kind of a hot take. I believe that
boiled hot dogs are better than grilled hot dogs. Yeah,
that's a hot take. I don't know about that one.
Speaker 1 (34:50):
Telling you historically speaking, that's what we used to do
quite a bit, so I get where you're coming from.
But a grilled hot dog is with a little burn
on it and the char on it, with some ketchup
and maybe even some mustard.
Speaker 3 (35:07):
You can't. You can't beat that. You want it, you
want to try something when you're grilling your hot dogs,
season the grill, like get it hot season the grill
with a white onion and then that way when you're
eating the hot dog, it's got the scent and the
flavor of an onion on the bottom of it. What
you think about that? Okay, I've heard you say this
before them. What else we got? Guys? When drunk?
Speaker 4 (35:29):
Would you rather have a sloppy sex or a perfect meal?
Speaker 3 (35:33):
Jesus say that again? Say that again? I'm sorry you
caught me out guard with that. Did you just say that?
Say that again? When drunk? Would you rather have a
perfect meal or sloppy sex?
Speaker 1 (35:49):
I mean, I don't I'm gonna lead the one. I
don't feel like I can win on this one right there.
I'll go perfect meal or she would I'm gonna last longer.
I'm complete that. I'd rather not answer this one. Well, yeah,
well you got.
Speaker 3 (36:08):
Lee guys, would you have to have sloppy? Damn? Well?
You know what they say? All all is good? You know,
I don't know if that was what they say, but
I mean, nobody sloppy is bad. It was just sloppy,
(36:29):
you know, the perfect meal?
Speaker 4 (36:30):
You know you're gonna you're not gonna remember or it's
not gonna be right.
Speaker 1 (36:33):
I mean, if you're drunk and you eat a like
when you're drunk. A perfect meal is anything potatoes?
Speaker 3 (36:39):
Oh yeah, you could, like you could literally take a
tortilla and wrap up dog food with it, and you're
gonna be like, oh, this is amazing. It's tremendous, you know.
But sloppy sex, I mean, sometimes you gotta get dirty.
Sometimes it ain't gonna be neat or clean sex. It's
gonna be sloppy, you know. Sometimes that's just how it happens.
Speaker 1 (37:01):
That's a great point, especially if you're sloppy drunk, you know,
I have a great point.
Speaker 3 (37:06):
All Right, Well there you go. What else? Guys?
Speaker 4 (37:08):
Would you rather have five million dollars now or a
dollar per step over an entire year.
Speaker 3 (37:13):
I'm gonna take a dollar per step. Yeah, I'll do
a dollar per step. Yeah. I think you can beat
five million on that. Just make it your job easy,
Like I don't have one of.
Speaker 1 (37:25):
Those three hundred and sixty five days. How many steps
are you taking in the day?
Speaker 3 (37:29):
Is at least like sixteen thousand? Okay, yeah, get paid?
Do that math? Yeah? What's that math? I don't know.
Speaker 4 (37:35):
I don't it's like three four miles a day. It's
step easy.
