(01:13):
So we are off and running the NFL offseason, and
there's one team above all else. It's got a lot
of storylines as they head into this year, and that
would be the Dallas Cowboys. They report to Oxnard, or
as Brady refers to it, Knoxnard July twenty fourth. That's
not true about three weeks from now.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
You didn't.

Speaker 5 (01:32):
You didn't come up with that name.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
I thought you did.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
No, No, I never would.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
Well, listen, I'll give it a credit for it.

Speaker 5 (01:38):
Great name.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
I'll give you the credit for it. But nonetheless, they
are going to report on July twenty fourth. That's when
everything gets going for the Dallas Cowboys, and apparently Ceedee
Lamb might not be there because, according to the Dallas
Morning News, Ceedee Lamb is expected to miss training camp
without a new contract. Now, Clarence Hill, who covers the Cowboy,

(02:00):
he refuted a report that came out last night where
somebody said that if Ceedee Lamb doesn't get thirty two
million dollars a year, he's going to ask to be
traded from the Dallas Cowboys. But it just goes to
another storyline as they head into camp along with Dak Prescott.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
I'd be here if you're not going to pay me
with the storyline.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
I mean, you know, Mike McCarthy's reportedly fed up. We
talked about that on the Herd last week when we
filled in, and then you've got the latest with Micah
Parsons and Malie Hooker.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
It just feels like there's a lot going They should
really be the.

Speaker 4 (02:34):
Team featured on Hard Knocks for like a seventeenth time
because they've got the most going on as they head
into camp, and there's gonna be a lot.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Of questions be asked as soon as those guys get there.

Speaker 6 (02:43):
Don't you guys get the sense that Jerry Jones, like
with the football team in real life, is like pushing
all his chips in the middle. He's like, all right,
let's see how this hand goes. You know, I got
a lot of money out there. Like I kind of
feel like that's what this season it is in a way,
the way he's positioned everything. Unless something dramatically changes here

(03:05):
in the final hours as we lead up to the season,
which we do, look deadlines do deals. That phrase exists
for a reason. Once you get into training camp, once
Ceedee Lamb doesn't show up, you start to realize what
that receiving core looks like without him, you know, Micah Parsons, whoever,
who's disgruntled right now. So as you get closer and closer,

(03:27):
I assume there'll be some better offers being made. But
I do get the sense they're like, let's just let's
push all the chips in the middle of the table
and see how this whole thing works out this year.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
You know, let's just see let's just see if we.

Speaker 6 (03:41):
Can't put everyone up against the grinder, you know, we
really put the pressure on here, and see if they
can't win a Super.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
Bowl for us.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Now, I don't think that that's that ain't gonna work
Probably not. I mean it as for the last third years,
I don't know. I don't know how that's going to
work out.

Speaker 4 (03:59):
I mean, like at what I mean he's got, you know,
isn't he going to pay somebody this offseason? I guess
anybody getting busy, Like I don't know, it just feels
like those are kind of important deals to get done.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
You know, you're starting.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
Why pay them now? You can pay them way more.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
After this year.

Speaker 4 (04:16):
Great point, you know, that is a great point. You know,
wait around, wait for the price to go up in that.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
Way, the American way.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
You know.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
I could get it cheaper here.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
But it's the America's teams way.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
That's right. I won't make some gloryho thank you, Jerry.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
You know, Jerry doesn't.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
I don't. I can honestly tell you I don't. I
won't make some glory.

Speaker 7 (04:40):
No.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Is that a designated place in your house somewhere?

Speaker 5 (04:43):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
Okay, it does.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
Go ahead in hand with the crap closet, pretty sure.

Speaker 4 (04:51):
So what is your If you had to rank your
favorite storyline heading into training camp for the.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
Dallas Cowboys, who you got? Because I'll tell you mine,
this is easy.

Speaker 6 (05:02):
Which one It's gotta be Mike McCarthy, Okay, because the
onset of the relationship is what's special. The fact that
Mike McCarthy slept over at Jerry Jones' place before they
consummated the marriage, Like, hey, that is what that will
always stick with me. I don't know why, I'm just
trying to imagine Jerry Jones and Mike McCarthy hanging out

(05:24):
as chateau Jones, you know, like, what did that look like?

Speaker 4 (05:27):
How about the fact that Mike McCarthy, I think, admitted
that he lied to Jerry Jones about like doing research
on the team and like watching the team. I think
that was like his big selling point to Jerry Jones,
and then it came out afterwards that he hadn't really
watched the team like that.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
I'm going with Michael Parsons. Yeah, I'm going with Micah.
I am biased, but I think he's the biggest storyline
on this team this year. I really do. I think
the relationship with his defensive coordinator, how will this defense?
How will he do? I think he's pulleysed to have
a really big year. Oh yeah, I said.

Speaker 6 (06:08):
The other thing that was going to tag on with
McCarthy is like, how's it going to end? Because the
last few seasons it's been quite the dramatic finish. I mean,
if it was a television series, it was a debacle.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
Like you you would have finished, you had gone.

Speaker 6 (06:21):
I want to watch the next one, you know, I
want to see how bad it could end the next way.
Not to keep using Game of Thrones, because I feel
like our show has done that now a number of times,
but the Red Wedding is essentially.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
The last time, Like.

Speaker 4 (06:36):
How many how many times did you watch Game of
Thrones and go, wait, they killed him and what happened?

Speaker 1 (06:43):
Mom?

Speaker 2 (06:44):
I mean they killed off Zeke, they brought him back
to life like that worked.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
By the way, the wife and the Red Wedding, I
don't remember out of ten really, Oh jeez, I don't
remember that.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
You made it awkward?

Speaker 4 (06:58):
No, I don't think so look it up. Go have
a gander at that if you want. It'see, off season,
got nothing else going on. I'll say this here is
my favorite storyline just but there's a lot of things
that have got to happen. It's Micah Parsons and the
Malik Hooker relationship because I want them to have an

(07:18):
altercation at training camp in Oxnard, because I just want
the headline to read Parsons scene fighting with Hooker, because
I think there's a lot of ways you could take that,
and there's a lot of things that could be done
with them.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
See what I'm saying. See what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (07:35):
I mean with Parsons Parsons scene fighting with Hooker. I
feel like there's a lot that could go on there,
and if anybody's ever walked the streets of Oxnard. Not
that far fetched, just saying there's certain parts of town
that are not that far fetched.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
You could find that. Did you find the Red Wedding?
I did? Yeah, thoughts maybe not a thirty eight, but
I get, I mean I remember though Yeah, I definitely remember.
But it's I remember. I remember the characters and that
you know, the son, the son that was really supposed

(08:11):
to be the king. Really he took it on the
chin in that that episode.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
What were we supposed to be talking about here? No? No, no,
the Red Wedding? Who was it? The mom?

Speaker 1 (08:23):
The wife, the wife, the bride of the Red Wedding?

Speaker 2 (08:29):
What? What is the actresses name? I'm trying to look
this up.

Speaker 5 (08:33):
That's how google.

Speaker 6 (08:35):
That's how you know it's not true, because you can't
even google search it.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
What do you mean? Just Google search rocket ship from
Game of Thrones Red.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
Wedding and she will not pop up.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
No, yes she does, No she does not. You got
a different search.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
No, there's other there's other actresses that would pop up.
It would not be.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
Her Spanish actress Una chaplin, there you go, chaplain? I
mean double o na na I man? Really I'm not
all the way gone, like, I don't know.

Speaker 6 (09:09):
Really, Jonas, you were disappointing, man, do you mean you
were just?

Speaker 2 (09:16):
I mean you go, you go from Olivia Colpo to that.

Speaker 7 (09:19):
Well, dang, I saw that episode. I saw an episode
that you're talking about.

Speaker 5 (09:23):
Jonas. I agree with you.

Speaker 6 (09:24):
Yeah, of course we don't right Lea and all full
opinions when it comes to filmography and.

Speaker 5 (09:31):
All this stuff that's not true.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
It is true.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
Apparently he's got that.

Speaker 6 (09:35):
Don't make me put you on blast to get your
crap taken away too.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
You told me about that.

Speaker 7 (09:41):
I only give you bangers and you you refuse to
watch them.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
You're batman. I didn't want to get into it.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
Petros agreed with me.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
I'm not sure that's our barometer. I'm just saying.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
I don't know, Jonas, I just I'm just saying thirty eight.
That's that's that's a tap bit. Well, you know, just
a step in the right direction.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
Okay, that's the best way of putting it.

Speaker 4 (10:06):
Well said, all right, Well, the point is the Cowboys
got a lot going on. As we had him the
training camp, there's a lot happening. Ceedee Lamb wants.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
A new deal. Does he get it? Do you think
he gets it? It's the Cowboys. No, I think he
gets it. I think he gets it. I think he's
the only one that gets a deal going into this season. Okay,
I mean I think he gets it.

Speaker 4 (10:31):
What if they did, like a group holdout Parsons, Ceedee
Lamb and Dak Prescott, because then somebody's got to get paid, right,
I mean, you got to pay somebody at that point
if you really want to get their attention. And I'm
sure Zekes still got a you know, can get a
good rate at the Mango deck last time he held out,
So there is there is.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
I am. I am a falling down a rabbit hole here.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
What do you mean tell us?

Speaker 2 (10:56):
You know she ranks top five?

Speaker 1 (10:59):
You're looking at it up now, I'm looking up the
entire cast. Yeah, dang, yeah, wow.

Speaker 4 (11:05):
Well, I mean I'll be upon further review. Maybe my
memory was a little bit a little bit skewed by
the top five.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
I'm trying to think of four. I'm not even sure
top five for in that show. It's a wonderful I was.

Speaker 2 (11:22):
If you look through the cast, you'll see it.

Speaker 4 (11:24):
And by the way, when I want to point out,
I was talking about acting, not not like so I
want to be clear on that she was great in
that role.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
It didn't last long.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
But very professionally.

Speaker 4 (11:35):
Yeah, you know, and then uh and everybody else got
got carved up. So not not great. By the way,
you also knew that Game of Thrones was a little
bit different when like the main carel.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
His head ended up on a pike.

Speaker 4 (11:54):
I remember watching it, going, this has got to be
a dream sequence, you know, guy and his head removed.

Speaker 1 (11:59):
It's on a pike. What's what's happening outside of castle?
You just sort of knew you were off and running
what he got over there? Mark? What's what are you
looking at? I'm looking at the cast. Yeah, it's not bad,
and he's She's probably out of the top four, at
least as far as I'm not going to say, I

(12:19):
don't know that.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
However, you're describing a Jonnas.

Speaker 4 (12:24):
All right, we'll listen to each your own. You know,
it happens, all right, So whatever I'm making up to you.

Speaker 1 (12:33):
I mean, nobody responded to what I sent over.

Speaker 6 (12:35):
The classic over cell under Deliveryang, so what And it's
accurate though it's not a sales approach, it's accurate.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
I'll try this again a man. All right, well, all right,
take two, CD Lamb gets the contract. I do, however,
think that this this season ends with Mike McCarthy possibly
being dismissed before this season's end. And I know that
that's not something that Dallas is known for doing, but

(13:11):
I think it's very possible that Mike McCarthy could be
packing up his his office already right now. It's already
packed and ready to go, just in case things don't
go the right way this season. Yeah, yeah, I think
if you were to go visit Coach McCarthy's office right now,
it's very very like rent a space type looking like

(13:35):
if you see like pictures on the wall, it's just
pictures that came with the frame. If you see you
see it's the.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
Family where you're like, oh, kill, it's a beautiful family.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
That's not mine. That's what's going on. Yes, there you go. Alright,
I'm just saying TV is not even mounted on the wall.
It's on a rolling card on a rolling car. Well,
it's not his TV, so that's it's all right.

Speaker 6 (14:04):
So it's like the wrapper and the plastic and all
the electronics. I guess I like pulled off the plastic.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
That's correct, that's correct, man. And he got that bag,
that get away bag right there in the corner, like
there we go. At least get away bag.

Speaker 6 (14:19):
Bottle cards sprayed the other from the nineteen nineties, the
original smell.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
Lee, what's in your getaway bag again?

Speaker 2 (14:28):
What do you got in there?

Speaker 1 (14:29):
To have everything? I get to you know, whatever clothes
you need.

Speaker 5 (14:33):
That's while we're asking, Oh, just the clothes.

Speaker 7 (14:36):
Yeah, like inside the getaway bag to underwear, two shorts,
to two shirts. You gotta have your toiletries lock lock. Well,
because you're going to the gym, you know, you gotta
hide out in the gym for a few days.

Speaker 1 (14:54):
That's where people go. Huh, they go to the gym.
That's like where you like you get your showers and
up out at the gym.

Speaker 2 (15:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (15:01):
Sometimes I got some other things in there I get.

Speaker 5 (15:08):
You know, you got to have your.

Speaker 2 (15:10):
Have done this before? Have you been a future before?
At one?

Speaker 1 (15:15):
You should see my car? Yeah, you should see.

Speaker 2 (15:17):
The well, oh that's just because you're slappy.

Speaker 4 (15:20):
But Loraina, was it you that was telling me that
people like they don't want to buy a place, so
they'll just sleep in their car and just shower at
the gym.

Speaker 1 (15:31):
It's not a want, it's a housing is so unaffordable
right now that they are living out of their cars
and showering at gyms.

Speaker 7 (15:37):
Yes, there's a lot of gyms that allowed that have
twenty four hour access and have places where you can sleep.

Speaker 1 (15:42):
So yeah, a lot of people do that. Places where
you can sleep, yeah the gym, Yeah, in your car
in the park, like spas and stuff like twenty four
hour spas. I've been to one in LA that was crazy,
and you just go to sleep in the twenty four
hour spa and they'll know by about thirty four dollars
a night. Yeah, it's really cheap. They'd be like, you came,
you back here again tonight? Like I don't get it.

Speaker 6 (16:05):
I don't understand how there's not more shenanigans like you
want the spot night?

Speaker 1 (16:10):
I mean there is, okay, okay, okay, yeah, the twenty
four hours yeah, okay, place across Bobby the Bobby Orchids.

Speaker 3 (16:24):
Is right now.

Speaker 4 (16:24):
The place across the street. I'm not going to say
who it was, but I saw a local news reporter,
oh No, show up there at about two in the
morning to meet up with somebody to meet up and
he and he like they were, they were pleased with uh,

(16:46):
they enjoyed their visit. Like I'm telling you, man, it's
very weird, that real deep just now. I'm just telling
you so yeah, that that's you know, some stuff happens
at some of these establishments. But all right, well let's
and if you are sleeping for thirty four dollars a
night at a spa, I just make sure you have
your phone chargers so you can listen to this show
on the iHeartRadio app. We'd appreciate it. It is Two

Speaker 4 (18:56):
They were listening to this on the Tealing Whiskey golf cart.

Speaker 2 (19:03):
If you weren't to corny, maybe we get a sponsorship
of this stuff.

Speaker 4 (19:07):
What do you mean, I just give a shout out
to shout outs of Tealing Whiskey for me on this
show so far?

Speaker 1 (19:14):
All right, tang.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
Not all shoutouts are a credit.

Speaker 4 (19:16):
Equal, buddy, Well, here's a shout out for you. Shout
it out about a shout out to Travis Kelcey. He
was recently talking on the New Heights podcast.

Speaker 1 (19:26):
Ye, how he goes on stage and how he's been
kind of just doing the same things that that is.
What's her name? He swift? Yeah, Taylor swifted to him
doring football season. Yeah, basically he's just popping up on
stage now as well, flopping her down on couches, picking
her back up, flopping her back down on the couch

(19:46):
in the middle of the show. Well, listen, he's with
a tuxedo. He's all over the place.

Speaker 4 (19:51):
And he was on his podcast, the New Heights Podcast
with his brother Jason Eli and what what happened?

Speaker 1 (20:03):
What happened?

Speaker 2 (20:05):
I know it's a link.

Speaker 6 (20:10):
At what point in the league and says all butts
from Game of Thrones.

Speaker 2 (20:16):
And it says on one of.

Speaker 6 (20:17):
The captions, Denarious Targarian, mother of Dragons, mother of butts.

Speaker 2 (20:25):
Stupid?

Speaker 1 (20:28):
Oh why did it do win? Though?

Speaker 2 (20:32):
Damn I'm getting out of this. But Lee, you like
you again?

Speaker 6 (20:41):
You showcased one of the many that should be ranked
ahead of Jonasis.

Speaker 1 (20:47):
Another one I showcased. That's that's the one.

Speaker 4 (20:49):
Yeah, that Lisa, M all right, So.

Speaker 1 (20:57):
Let's talk about the same person that is an it
is uh, Travis Kelcey talking with his brother Jason Kelsey.
Is it is not?

Speaker 4 (21:09):
Yeah, I can't confirm. All right, So let's listen to
Travis Kelsey talk about the potential of a team going
to London because somebody here on this show who's got
a piping hot conspiracy theory.

Speaker 1 (21:23):
Let's take a listen.

Speaker 9 (21:23):
Would you play for a team in London?

Speaker 1 (21:26):
Yes?

Speaker 5 (21:26):
Yes, unquestionably.

Speaker 10 (21:28):
I'm actually I'm waiting for that team to play for
another team other than Chiefs, Like that's the only situation
is if I get to play abroad by your home
team be abroad?

Speaker 2 (21:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 9 (21:38):
How long do you think it'll be before there's an
NFL team in London less than ten years?

Speaker 2 (21:43):
You think within the decade.

Speaker 10 (21:44):
I don't know for a fact it's going to be London,
but I think the team's.

Speaker 9 (21:48):
I think if there's an NFL team, the first city
it's coming to is London.

Speaker 2 (21:53):
I'll go on record for that.

Speaker 10 (21:54):
I mean it's where we've been playing for the most overseas.

Speaker 9 (21:57):
Yeah, there's almost amount of fans here. There's there's a
big appetite in London. It's a major market. The only
other cities that it would also be in would be, like,
I know, Germany has a lot of NFL fans, would
probably be a German team, I'd assumeing Munich or Berlin.
But I think London's getting the first one if it
ever happens.

Speaker 1 (22:17):
So, I mean they've gotten the most games, right, They've
that's been the most Wimberly has been the most most
consistent places or place where the games What what is
Wemby or Wimberley, Wembley, Wimbley Wimbley. They've gotten the most games, right,
It's almost like Jacksonville's home field, but not their home field. Yeah, yeah,

(22:38):
I mean it's uh, seems like a spot.

Speaker 6 (22:42):
Well, so my understanding of how that would make the
most sense is logistically, well, this kind of littu early.

Speaker 2 (22:55):
Get into that, not really getting into that part.

Speaker 4 (22:57):
Of it's gonna keep Okay, let's say live studio band
to just turn the yeastrument off.

Speaker 1 (23:04):
Thanks.

Speaker 6 (23:08):
My understanding of how it would make sense to have
a team in London is to not have a team
in London, is to have four teams in that general vicinity.

Speaker 2 (23:20):
So you would you.

Speaker 6 (23:20):
Would pick out London, you'd pick out Germany'd pick out
maybe Dublin, Ireland, whatever other international cities you're looking at
over there, and it would be easiest between the divisional
games they play with their other three teams in their
division and then flying to the East Coast, which will
be essentially the equivalent of West Coast teams flying to

(23:41):
the East Coast of the United States. You would essentially
be you know, kind of playing those sorts of schedules,
and you know, every once in a while you'd be
having a West Coast team called over across or one
of those international teams come all the way across. But
that is how it was proposed a while back in
regards to how it would work from a schedule is sandpoint,
so you don't have one team facing this burden of

(24:04):
all this travel. Kind of similar to like the Seattle Seahawks,
who on average typically travel more than most teams in
the NFL.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
But that was not really the conspiracy there. The conspiracy
theory is.

Speaker 6 (24:16):
It's more about Travis kelce The thought to this is,
and I'm not into this whole conspiracy theory things, but
there's a lot of things that have been adding up here. Okay,
I don't know if it's him, I don't know if
it's everyone around him. Let's just kind of dive through everything,
all right, and go down this rabble because it's that

(24:38):
time of year. So of course, let's just go back
to COVID the player, a singular player who gets the
big Pfizer deal telling everyone to take the vaccine. It
could have been anyone in the NFL, any player. Instead
it goes to Travis Kelcey. He is the messenger. He

(24:59):
is the man who's dolling out for everyone to go
get their COVID shot. I don't care how you feel,
whether you're for it against it, whatever data you ascertained
before or after, and all that, It doesn't matter. I'm
just saying he was the guy that was selected also,
and lead a lap can back me up on this
because we've talked about Travis Kelsey's dating history Taylor Swift.

(25:21):
Just it seemed like it kind of came out of
left field, right, Yes, And you've now got this relationship
that has helped you prop up the NFL. It has
literally brought an entirely different demographic that never watched NFL
games before. Who are t Swift fans? And now they
are a part of the conversation. And yet he was

(25:41):
the player to be prayed around and all that.

Speaker 2 (25:45):
And look, it looks like it's legitimate, looks like it's
a real relationship. Just saying.

Speaker 6 (25:50):
And so now he's the player that messages to everyone
else like, oh yeah, I'd go play for international team.

Speaker 2 (25:57):
I'd go over there hard, that's the one team I'm
waiting for.

Speaker 6 (26:01):
It just feels like he's the guy that's extremely likable.
He's a first ballot Hall of Famer and there's something there.
I mean, look, I'm with him too, though when I
was playing, like I would have loved to have gone
and played for international team. It'd be kind of awesome
to go through that experience, but there's also an element
of just there's something else going on here. He seems

(26:24):
to be the conduit, the guy that the NFL likes
to use to get messaging out in some fashion or
for him.

Speaker 2 (26:31):
I buy it.

Speaker 1 (26:33):
I buy it, But I mean, how big is how
big of a deal? I guess I would be wondering
how big of a deal is it to figure out,
you know, how the fans feel about there being a
team in Europe.

Speaker 4 (26:50):
Let me ask you, just to play Devil's advocate, why him?
Like why was he chosen.

Speaker 1 (26:57):
To be Taylor swift Man? Well, like just to have
all of this like why him? Like why was it?
Travis Kelce? Was it?

Speaker 2 (27:06):
You know?

Speaker 4 (27:07):
Quarterback is too They already have all the attention and
do all that. So let's pick another position player somebody
will Let.

Speaker 2 (27:14):
Me ask you this, how many tight ends do you disdain? Like?

Speaker 6 (27:18):
How many tight ends can you think of that are unlikable?
In fact, I would I would actually go on to
say that for the most part, tight ends are like
the most likable players in the team.

Speaker 2 (27:27):
Oh yeah, they do everything.

Speaker 6 (27:29):
They block for you, run blocking for the running backs
or pass blogging for the quarterbacks, wide receivers. They're also
run routes for you. They're there when you're under duress.
When then you get a hot route.

Speaker 2 (27:40):
Right breaks off, his route breaks off hot for.

Speaker 6 (27:42):
You, you're able to hit him there. They're good leaders.
They're the one position group outside of that's it. The
edge rushers too, but tight ends are able to get
together and go through that tight end you and everything
else that's come about from all of that. But they're
asked to do a little bit of everything. They're usually
a key player on special teams or playing some role
on special teams. Just say, man, they're kind of one

(28:02):
of the more likable positions. And if you think about
some of the stars of the NFL, about Gronk, think
about Travis Kelceronk is a big guys like George, I mean,
David and Joke.

Speaker 2 (28:14):
You're like, like, what tight end do you not like?

Speaker 1 (28:18):
But then you look at that guy.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
That guy's kind of a jerk, you.

Speaker 1 (28:21):
Know, I think you know, Gronk is a very Gronk
is like the football version of Shaq, Like he's like
a celebrity, Like like he's Gronk.

Speaker 4 (28:30):
Do you do you think they wanted to uh, they
wanted it to be Gronk and just halfway through the
interview process or like I had this guy just there's
no way he'll be able to keep a straight face
through all this.

Speaker 2 (28:39):
Well maybe it was Timmis Swift. It was like, yeah,
I can't do that.

Speaker 1 (28:42):
Like that that could go this could go back this guy?
What about Lamar Jackson?

Speaker 6 (28:48):
I mean yeah, but that's what I'm saying about, Like
why did it have to be Travis Kelcey?

Speaker 1 (28:57):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (28:57):
Why not go with somebody who's like, you know, especially
with the cof or like somebody who's got like you know,
that has shown the ability to be immune to things
like why not Deshaun Wats Like why not him? You know,
squeaky clean reputation all right, seemingly uh you know, figures
out a way to go through all that still get
a record contract. Like how far down the list would

(29:19):
you go before Deshaun Watson would.

Speaker 1 (29:21):
Be the I mean he'd be right there at the
top for me. So yeah, man, I'm in agreeance with you. Yeah,
I mean you talk about a bounce back type of deal,
you know, being able to get through all of the germs.

Speaker 2 (29:36):
Maybe there was a question if you could rise to
the occasion, you know.

Speaker 1 (29:39):
How do you rise to the occasun over and over again?
I just, you know, I think there's something to be
said about Yeah, I agree. Yeah, man, that's a good point.
I don't know though, I'm just trying to figure it out,
Like does it have to be Taylor Swift? Taylor Swift,
Wi've seemed to be the perfect storm of all of

(30:00):
this in terms of who you end up dating. That
that kind of opens everything up to a different, different
group of fans.

Speaker 6 (30:08):
Right, She's global, I mean that's the thing is she
is literally global. Yeah, so if you were going to
go after one person who again, outside of apparently the
jet fuel and the carbon emissions, she's pretty much bulletproof herself.

Speaker 1 (30:24):
So isn't isn't isn't OBJ dating Kim Kardashian? Now, no,
I don't think that's No, that's not true. I think
she wants to.

Speaker 2 (30:33):
Have his babies. I think that was what I read.

Speaker 1 (30:35):
It was true for like a half a second. Well,
I think I think he was April, and now who
is May? And then I mean, but why not do
this same type of plot deal through Kim Kardashian.

Speaker 2 (30:46):
She's global, She's I don't know if she's revered the
same way.

Speaker 1 (30:51):
I mean, I don't know, Bro, She's she is a
global icon, she's icon. Well you made that's personal icon. Yeah.
Oh she's a pretty she's like Conic Yeah for what
a sex tape? Yeah? No, that's the start. Hey, I
mean there's a lot since then.

Speaker 2 (31:07):
Yeah, I get it. She's done well in business.

Speaker 1 (31:09):
And the TV A ton of time. Thought I thought
that was a karaoke video.

Speaker 1 (32:52):
Looks the quality of soccer like it?

Speaker 2 (32:55):
It's better.

Speaker 1 (32:56):
It's a big difference. Yeah, oh my god, it just is. Alright,

for Dan Campbell or Damiko Ryans?

Speaker 5 (33:16):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (33:17):
What do you have to do?

Speaker 1 (33:17):
That's horrible?

Speaker 5 (33:19):
Why do you have to do that?

Speaker 1 (33:20):
That's a good one. That's why it is a good one.
I'll take Dan Campbell.

Speaker 4 (33:24):
We know, we know that, Hey Johnson, I'll take Dan Campbell.

Speaker 1 (33:28):
You're going to hit that? Uh that our button right now?
Hit that?

Speaker 2 (33:33):
Are we including the entire staff? Uh?

Speaker 1 (33:37):
No, we are not ridiculous? Thank you?

Speaker 5 (33:42):
Who are you picking for?

Speaker 8 (33:43):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (33:43):
Jamiico Ryans? Damn you can hit it again. It's all right.

Speaker 2 (33:53):
I'm gonna I'm gonna go with I'm gonna go to
Dan Campbell.

Speaker 1 (33:57):
Yeah, you can hit it again.

Speaker 6 (34:00):
He said he's an offensive minded head coach. I think
both of them are good head coaches. But he's an
offensive minded head coach. That's exactly all I know is
if I'm going in to talk to him, I'm talking
to the head man about what we're doing offensive with
Ben Johnson, Whereas to me it might be.

Speaker 2 (34:17):
Saying, no, no, we're gonna punt play.

Speaker 1 (34:19):
A defense easy. That's how they make your voice sound
when you're not on air, so you know that's what Jonas.
It's not true.

Speaker 6 (34:28):
I just love hearing Jonas doesn't sound.

Speaker 2 (34:34):
Anything like Lafar.

Speaker 1 (34:35):
I don't do that.

Speaker 2 (34:36):
It is an awful pression.

Speaker 1 (34:38):
Sound nothing like you when he does the Hey, that's
just sound like you? A defense is guy?

Speaker 2 (34:44):
More Fox Sports Radio?

Speaker 1 (34:47):
More false?

Speaker 4 (34:49):
More false representation here on this show, Lee, what else
we got?

Speaker 1 (34:54):
Well? Fourth of July is around the corner.

Speaker 7 (34:55):
Would you rather have to watch somebody's fireworks video on
their phone or listen to them talk about their fantasy
football team?

Speaker 1 (35:03):
Out?

Speaker 2 (35:04):
Neither? Just out? Yeah? These are getting to be awful?
Did you come up with these? Okay?

Speaker 1 (35:09):
Do I have to be so bad?

Speaker 2 (35:10):
I feel like he's talking about these are good? Lee?

Speaker 1 (35:13):
Do I have to be sober for either of these?

Speaker 2 (35:15):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (35:17):
Yes, you have to be completely sober. Listen to somebody
talk about their fantasy football team, No, I guess fantasy football,
watch their their fireworks on their cell phone?

Speaker 2 (35:29):
Neither?

Speaker 1 (35:32):
Why do I want to watch there?

Speaker 2 (35:35):
Lee?

Speaker 1 (35:35):
At least I'm keeping with the segment here, all right.

Speaker 4 (35:38):
I've got segment integrity here on this show, So I'm
gonna give you answers every time.

Speaker 2 (35:43):
Great Radio formatics.

Speaker 1 (35:45):
Damn, go ahead, pasties, can you say? Can you say?
Diez so I know what you're talking about? Oh, I
don't know what you mean? What else?

Speaker 2 (35:56):
Aget?

Speaker 1 (35:57):
Would you rather be giving fifty thousand dollars right up?
Or the amount of money that you could count to
without messing up.

Speaker 2 (36:08):
The amount of money count? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (36:10):
I wanna take that mine. I can count too. I'll
take the fifty grand, all right.

Speaker 4 (36:16):
I don't know that kind of time, man, Just give
me the fifty grand. I'll figure it out.

Speaker 1 (36:21):
What you're figuring out, I wonder how to spend it.
We figured out that you can't count. Damn, I'm a
damn sure take my time.

Speaker 6 (36:32):
One two, I write it down as well, angry and
just so I don't like gus.

Speaker 2 (36:38):
Here's the problem is, you're gonna get high enough for
you lose track.

Speaker 1 (36:41):
That's you're gonna lose count. And I get what you're saying.
I get what you're saying. Yeah, yeah, give me the
fifty grand.

Speaker 2 (36:47):
I'm going to write it down.

Speaker 1 (36:49):
I'm just creating my lanes, create my stacks, stacks and
what I don't know? Twenty dack CityU Now, now are
you counting by ones? Five tens or twenties, fifties hundreds.
That's why you take the fifty k.

Speaker 2 (37:07):
Yeah, that's why you take less money and yeah move on.

Speaker 1 (37:11):
Yeah, you could get the fifty k and ones pretty quickly, bro.
Just being honest with you, you.

Speaker 2 (37:17):
Could probably do it an hour, as your hourly rate
would be fifty thousand dollars an hour for going.

Speaker 1 (37:23):
Oh there you go.

Speaker 4 (37:24):
Let me tell you something. If you spend an hour
counting to fifty thousand and.

Speaker 1 (37:28):
It's money, you get the key. You are a yeah
not in my.

Speaker 2 (37:31):
Book say the hours of that my book loser.

Speaker 1 (37:35):
Not my book user. What else count you loser? We
got time for omar?

Speaker 5 (37:39):
No we do not?

Speaker 2 (37:40):
Why not?

Speaker 5 (37:41):
I got a good one to check out?

Speaker 1 (37:43):
Come on, Lee, No, there's no time.

Speaker 7 (37:46):
No time.

Speaker 1 (37:47):
