Yeah?

Speaker 8 (02:15):
What I do?

Speaker 4 (02:16):
Y'all?

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Y'all both got problems. The soccer team or no, yeah
them too.

Speaker 6 (02:24):
That was off sides, though not that it really mattered,
but still that was off side, right.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
I don't know who cares.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
I was thinking the same thing. You know, everyone's up
in arms about it. It's like, I don't know, Well
I can't.

Speaker 9 (02:38):
Have you said the ref dont want to shake pallistic
sand after the match.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Well you have said something offensive to him.

Speaker 6 (02:45):
Well that's fine, you can still shake afterwards, right, I mean.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
That's called good sportsmanship for certain you know, you don't
want to execute poor sportsmanship, especially as a as a ref.
You know.

Speaker 6 (02:58):
Yeah, you make it seem like like, you know, maybe
you're rooting for.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
You know, somebody might have had to your room or
was was coming us.

Speaker 6 (03:09):
How to pronounce it?

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Here we go? Why you say it? So? Yeah, thank you? No,
you're a guy. You're a guy.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
I thought it was, Oh wow, that's awful bad. By
the way, our friends listening out there on the iHeartRadio app,
we want to apologize.

Speaker 6 (03:34):
That it actually was offensive to someone that bad.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Yeahang, I feel like there's a lot of ways we
could have taken that.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
I mean, there was a couple of things I was
thinking and I was like, no, I'm not going to
even say it.

Speaker 6 (03:53):
No, I was.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
All right.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
So we were off and running here on a Tuesday morning. Obviously,
yesterday was sort of the the tip off of free agency.
In the end, in the NBA, we can't say kickoff
because it's a football term, so tip off, you know,
feel feels a little bit more appropriate. But nonetheless though,
well you know, just depends. And then you see the

(04:20):
Boston Celtics of defending champs just making a couple of moves.
Ho hum, Jason Tatum gets an NBA record five years,
three hundred and fourteen million.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
Dollar extension, a couple of coins.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
Yeah, you know, just one hundred dollars more than what
Paul George got earlier on Sunday. And then you saw
Derek White get a four year, one hundred and twenty
six million dollar extension, absolutely deserved so you can afford
all the dental work he possibly needs. Oh and then
here yeah, yeah, I mean listen, uh and then you know,
just uh yeah, they're selling the team too.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
So there's there's that too. Let's give out these big
guys contracts. I know about a way we're selling.

Speaker 9 (04:58):
This cauld I add sorry, possibly the greatest stat on
top of that, their payroll next year alone, between the
five guys of as starters now is more than what
they paid for for the franchise twenty some years ago.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Talk you about that three hundred and sixty million dollars
they bought it for in two thousand and two.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Yeah, I mean, what's it on sale for. I don't know.

Speaker 6 (05:21):
It's gonna be in the billions.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
Yeah, it'll be.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
Uh, they're going to make a nice chunk of change.
And if you were gonna sell it, why not sell
it that like right now, like got another championship. It's
a second for the current ownership group that's there, so
they get their title. Now they put it up for sale,
and I just wanted, like, I have a feeling there's
going to be a celebrity or somebody, like there's a

(05:46):
lot of celebrity Celtic fans out there, somebody's like Wohlberg,
they like one of those guys, Like it's going to
get their hands on it.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
Although I don't know if they got wealth.

Speaker 9 (05:56):
I've said this before, they don't, and no one does.
I mean outside of maybe what you heard, you know
a few days ago, where there's you know, thousands of
trillionaires in America, there's not there's not even that many billionaires.
And what's become more common in professional sports, in sports
ownership is these these ownership groups that you do have

(06:19):
one majority owner and he's probably gonna put a lot
of money into it, but then you have a big
pool of limited partners, and those limited partners are investors,
but not as much money, you know, at least individually
into it. But they bring something else to the table.
So for example, Mark Wahlberg, you know, his personality is notoriety.

(06:40):
Maybe it's you know, Wallburgers everywhere. I don't know what
it is, but you know, they bring something else to
the table. And that's how essentially now these these new
ownership groups in sports are working out. So it's it's
not you know, it's not gonna be one individual necessarily,
even though that one individual will be the majority owner.

Speaker 6 (07:00):
I do think, I guess I'll ask you this, don't
you think they know who it is? Though? Like, don't
they Don't you think they have it inked up?

Speaker 9 (07:08):
Because otherwise, how in the world do you agree to
all these deals and give out all this money and go, yep, no,
this is someone else to deal with, like someone else
can figure this out.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
Right, And then maybe there was a conversation they had
as well too, like hey, you know, it's been a
good ride.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
We've been doing this over twenty years.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
If we win one, we're out and then maybe that's
how the conversation started going. And then somebody had the
expectation and said, Okay, well is this still happening? It
still is, And here's what we're thinking. Lock Tatum up.
We've already given Brown the monster contract, Derek White's got
his deal. It's turnkey, ready to go championship team, and

(07:49):
it's yours. And the most recent sale of a team
was three point five billion. That was the Dallas Mavericks
last year. So why are people selling their teams? Why
did get out?

Speaker 1 (08:01):
Is that just there?

Speaker 9 (08:03):
They aren't cash flowing businesses, even though people think they are.
They're they're not as much as people think. And so
I think after a while, I mean, you've got to
dump a lot of money into these things to make
them profitable, and you gotta win. And so your exit
is really when you make the money, is when you
increase the value of the franchise and the NBA. Those

(08:25):
those professional teams actually trading go for a much more
structured model than other professional franchises.

Speaker 6 (08:32):
So the first thing to say is.

Speaker 9 (08:36):
They do it to get some of their money back, man,
because it's expensive down these professional franchises, whether it's dumping
money back into the arenas or you know, different cash
you're paying out for the star players so you can
be competitive win championships.

Speaker 6 (08:50):
But it's to get there, you know. They called it
equity multiple that that return, but then.

Speaker 9 (08:54):
They also do it just because they don't. I mean,
it's it's a lot of time and stress. I think
if you want to be good at it, right, it's
like anything else. It's not like you just turn on
a switch and the thing goes. It's pretty hard. It's
pretty hard to be able to do that. And I
think they've done a tremendous job with building up that
organization to have the right structure to be able to
be consistently successful.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
I always thought it was like something you keep in
your family forever, like an ever.

Speaker 9 (09:20):
I've said it before, dude, the estate tax when you
passed it from one generation to the next, is huge.

Speaker 6 (09:25):
It's huge. Wow were you were you on that last week?
I said that, Yeah, I know.

Speaker 9 (09:30):
I know one NFL owner he had to go to
Bermuda and live there as a resident for seven years.
Technically that's where he had to live in order to inherit.
It's not but in order to inherit the team inherit
it tax free. That's where they that's that was how
it was set up or structured seven years.

Speaker 6 (09:49):
Yeah yeah, yeah, Wow it sounds like it sounds like
it's awesome. And then you're like, all right, little well.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
I was thinking this as well too, Like I used
to think, man, he's so cool to own an like
an NFL team or own a sports team. And then
I just have to come to terms with I don't
want to own one. I just want to be good
friends with somebody that does.

Speaker 9 (10:09):
You know.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
It's like I don't want to own a boat.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
I just want to be able to borrow it whatever
I want to do it, Like I don't want to
have to worry about the day to day operations yet,
you know all that stuff, like just like you guys
handle that. But we've put a lot of time in
his friends. Just let me borrow it for an hour
or so.

Speaker 6 (10:23):
That's all it is.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
So you know, maybe you know we could see friends
like that? You do? I do like who? Well, Danny
John Beeson is the first name that comes He's the
reason why I want to get this boat. Like I
love his boat. It's amazing. Oh you gonna get a
boat one day? One day, like when I'm done with
all of this, I'll get a boat, because that's probably

(10:44):
where I'll be a lot. I like to fish. I
like to catch fish. I like to process it, and
then I like to cook it right then and there
on the boat. Like used to be my thing. Like
twice a year, I go out with with my father
in law and my kids and we go fishing, and
I'd have my chef on there because you know, I
had a restaurant, and my chef from my restaurant would

(11:07):
be there and we chopped them bad boys up rock
fish right out of the water. That's like my thing.
My ultimate thing is to eat fish the rest of
my way at the end. But for now, I got friends,
you know, shots out the mic and Carmen Pace. They
got more than one jet. They got a couple some

(11:27):
nice ones too. They got some nice ones. Man might
even be bigger than that. They like got a real
like like they bawling, how much is a nice fishing boat?
I don't. I don't want a fishing boat. I want
a bad ass, bad ass yacht that I fish off. Yeah,
where I had where I have like a fish area,

(11:49):
you know what I mean? Like I wanted. I need
to have that fish area where I can get the
guts out of there and chop it up and all
that stuff and just just blow, you know, like wash
it off. Pontoon I like I thought about it. I
was close to get one when I lived in Annapolis,
like a really really hopped up one that you could
just go out all day in, you know, super nice. Yeah,

(12:10):
we I told you.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
Me and like four other buddies chipped in like five
hundred bucks each and bought a pontoon boat. And after
two trips it was nicknamed the floating Coffin because it
was a complete disaster. Somebody like my buddy, thought he
was doing a good job putting in the stereo. It
was shorting out while we walk we were on the water, like,
it was just not a great idea. And we probably

(12:34):
took it out like three four times and just we realized,
this is a waste of money. It's never gonna happen,
so you'll probably but you can get really, really really
nice pontoon boats.

Speaker 1 (12:42):
They don't go very fast. They don't go you don't
want to go fast. Yeah, it's relaxing. Yeah, I don't
want to go fast. Well, Jimmy Buffett on the water
yeat rock. Yeah, okay a little bit. I'm all in
on pontoons, just not like in like big water, just
like little lakes, creeks, stuff like that. You guys want

(13:03):
to go h going on a pontooning on.

Speaker 10 (13:07):
I saw a pontoon boat the other day that was
dressed like a tiki bar.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
See that would be dope, had the light and everything.

Speaker 10 (13:14):
Oh, it was like it was like a full circle.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
By the way, there's no way whoever owns that boat
is not an alcoholic.

Speaker 6 (13:22):
Speaking of what's the last.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
Who was the last time I've been on a boat
and stayed in it and stayed in it.

Speaker 10 (13:29):
And didn't fall off.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
Speaking of.

Speaker 8 (13:38):
Like a pontoon boat or just a boat boat, any boat, uh,
you know, might not have been this year, But I
go to the lake quite often to what the lake
is for?

Speaker 1 (13:50):
It's a phrase, that's what the las what the lake
is for?

Speaker 10 (13:53):
Yeah, I was doing seedews on the last time I
went to the lake A good time.

Speaker 1 (13:57):
Yeah, I don't know if you took the boat out.

Speaker 10 (14:00):
Yeah, I don't think we did. I think we did.
I think we just did.

Speaker 2 (14:02):
See this last time, you guys, because it was too
muddy or you guys got Yeah, that's right, it was
too muy.

Speaker 1 (14:07):
Yeah, we can get the back.

Speaker 2 (14:08):
Do you be knowing so much about people's personally because
I listened when people tell me stuff, so I know,
I just remember little details. And Lee was telling me
a story we have no likee well that too, but
Lee was telling me a story on the way back
from it was either Ireland or it was South Carolina,
and he was telling me how he had a trip planned.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
With his buddies.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
They were going to the lake and they were going
to get together. And I asked him about it, and
he said it didn't go as smoothly because it got
muddy everywhere because they'd rained recently.

Speaker 10 (14:35):
Yeah, we had to hike out of it. We had
to hike out so because it was so muddy.

Speaker 1 (14:39):
Yeah, that was bad.

Speaker 6 (14:40):
Hike out of what?

Speaker 8 (14:41):
Out of the camping site? I mean, we couldn't even
take the car all the way to the camping site.
We have a my buddy has a camping grounds on
the lake, like Lake lake Front, and.

Speaker 6 (14:54):
I've been there. You've been there, soths like a wine
or something.

Speaker 9 (14:58):
Really explain this again too, By the way, you said
your buddy has a camping ground, like he just had
a spot he goes to.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (15:05):
Well, it's a family plot and they have like a
bunch of trailers that are front side of the lake.
Like each each part of the family has their own. Yeah,
some shanties. It's a shanty town. They're actually very luxurious trailers.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
Right on the lake.

Speaker 10 (15:22):
Is this the story where we go with this stalking
too smoking?

Speaker 8 (15:28):
No, anyway, there's a big hill that you have to
go up and down over the hill to the lakeside.

Speaker 10 (15:35):
Yes, that is correct, and it was very mundy.

Speaker 8 (15:39):
It was it rained, and we we were smart to
not take the car all the way over the hill
because we would not have been able to get out
of there.

Speaker 10 (15:47):
We had to hike out because there was rain. And
uh yeah, alright, then there you go.

Speaker 1 (15:54):
That's break. That's the story of that.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
And by the way, that was the trip that I
think you took the rest of the tealing whiskey with
you too. That is oh I remember these details. Yeah,
from Ireland. He brought it back as a gift.

Speaker 6 (16:11):
I didn't think he had any left.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
Filled.

Speaker 10 (16:16):
I killed one bottle, but they had another.

Speaker 1 (16:18):
See why so many people like you though you know
all their business that they tell you.

Speaker 9 (16:22):
No, I just he's the perfect friend. If you black
out around him, you love blacking out exactly.

Speaker 6 (16:33):
Together.

Speaker 1 (16:36):
You know what I meant?

Speaker 6 (16:38):
You know what happened last night?

Speaker 2 (16:41):
Why blackout when you can Black's so stupid? That's those
stupid you guys got problems man. All right, So there's

LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here. Coming
up in about twenty minutes from now from the tire
rack dot Com Studios. There's a team in the NFL.
They've been in the news a lot lately and apparently
they could be in trouble. We'll play we'll explain why
that is. Coming up here again twenty minutes from now,
from the tire rack dot Com studios. We are efforting

(18:39):
getting some better watching here on the televisions inside the studio.

Speaker 1 (18:42):
As well too. What do they have on spy kids?
Spy Kids? Why not? A mean, no, enough is enough?
Like we'd be handling Charmed here and there like that's fine.
It's really not. But spac kids, you've gone too far.

(19:03):
And they was comfortable back up in there, like the
work buddies, they're just comfortable watching spack Kids. Now, hold on,
you were working. I was working.

Speaker 10 (19:13):
I just got here.

Speaker 1 (19:14):
Okay, that's fair, wow, Lorena.

Speaker 10 (19:17):
Yes, but I have fantastic beasts on a different TV.

Speaker 2 (19:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (19:23):
Also something that I did not put on.

Speaker 1 (19:24):
It's just something that I just wouldn't stop on and say, yep,
that's that's what I'm gonna hit.

Speaker 2 (19:30):
Okay, well, all right, I mean there you go. Thank
God for the remote. Tell you that it is two
pros and a cup of Joe here on Fox Sports Radio.
So Dumiko Ryans, the head coach of the Houston Texans,
there's a lot of optimism as they headed the next
year next year, this year, this upcoming season, which training
camp started in a couple of weeks from now, and.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
They start a little early because they're in the Hall of.

Speaker 2 (19:53):
Fame game against the Bears this year, so they will
that's coming up August first, so less than a month
from now, we'll get to see them at the Hall
of Fame game. But he was being pretty honest about
where his team was at. He was talking with the
insiders on NFL Network and he said the following quote.
People talk about how exciting of a year it was
last year, but I throw up a stat for our

(20:14):
guys this offseason, like, look, I know we won some games,
but guys, we had ten games within one score and
these games were down to the wire and we had
to find a way at the end. That doesn't change.
That's the NFL. It's about being smart, being confident in
those crucial situations, like the last two minutes of a game,
can you go perform? He's also I always just remind

(20:35):
them that we didn't just blow everybody out. Those games
can go either way, and you have to continue to
prepare the way coming into the new season. It's not
going to just happen again. You have to start back
over at ground zero and work your way back up.
And when you start to look back at their results
from last year. He's right, man, they were in a
lot of close games, Like there was a lot of

(20:55):
really close games for them that if those go, you know,
a couple of those go the other direction. And we're
having a different conversation about the Texans moving forward.

Speaker 1 (21:04):
And that has to do with how how you know
a season can go, how how success can come and go.
You don't want to take winning for granted, especially if
you are newly winning. Right, they're not established winners. It's
not like they've gotten three four seasons in whereas you

(21:25):
have different expectations, like a Steelers team to have a
different expectation than the Houston Texans do. And and he
comes in as a rookie head coach, improbable to have
success as as the head guy in year one, and
they exceeded expectations. The quarterback exceeded expectations. I mean, they performed.

(21:49):
And the best thing that the Miko rans is doing
here is just making sure that they're clear on the
idea and the fact that it was the fact that
they probably were a US against the world type of
outfit and only they believed and what their work was
that they were putting in what it would would yield

(22:11):
in terms of getting wins, And you don't want to
lose that competitive edge. You don't want to find yourself
coming into this second year relaxing because of the success
that you guys were able to have this this this
inaugural year of his season, his first year coaching. So

(22:32):
I think it's a great message. I think it's a
great tone to set. Don't let guys get comfortable. Most
coaches will tell you the best way to coach somebody
and to get them to get the most out of
themselves is to keep presenting uncomfortable, get get basically get
comfortable with being uncomfortable. And and so I think that's

(22:54):
what he's putting out there as a challenge. And generally,
when you know players believe in their coach, they have
a way of trying to respond very highly to those
types of you know, those types of conversations that take place.

Speaker 9 (23:09):
I think it's an interesting dynamic that a coach has to,
i mean almost talk to his team to prepare them
for the reality of, you know, what it looks like
to be in the NFL for a while. And I
guess I guess the best way I can describe this
is go back and look at the Minnesota Vikings was

(23:30):
a couple of years ago. Now they went thirteen and four. Yeah,
how many games they win by one score? Like nine
or something like that. There was a lot, and everyone
talked about how that that is not sustainable. That is
just something that almost never happens. You know, in one
score games, you most likely will be able to win
half of them and lose half of them. That's how

(23:52):
much parody there's in the NFL. That's kind of how
the ball bounces. Some years, maybe you win less than
half of them somewhere. Some years maybe you went all
of them like the Vikings did that year. But the
point is is, as a player, you have to believe
you're going to win in those circumstances. You have to
train yourself to what believe, no matter what the odds are,

(24:18):
that you're going to be able to win. And the
more you do it, the more you have those clutch moments,
the more you have those you know, comebacks, the more
you have those kind of one score tight game find
a way of pulling it out.

Speaker 6 (24:31):
The greater convets you have in yourself and your teammates
that you believe it's going to happen.

Speaker 9 (24:36):
And so it's odd because as a head coach, you
you know that over time though, that it's going to
even itself out, like law of averages will come into play,
and unless C. J. Stroud becomes Tom Brady, where you
have that distinct advantage and you could look at, you know,
tom Brady's advanced stats on you know set, you know down,

(24:58):
you know two minutes, you know trailer, whatever the case
you want to look at, like he was probably the
only guy that really as a quarterback, falls in that category.
But the point is is from a player's perspective, you
have to believe one thing and you have to like
truly be able to think past any sort of concept
in reality, right like you're all Superman that no matter

(25:21):
what the circumstances, you're gonna overcome it. Meanwhile, the coach
is kind of preparing them though for the downfall, like
almost like the adult in the room, like I've lived this,
I've been here as a player. Now I'm coaching, and
trust me, like at some point the balls just not
gonna bounce you what.

Speaker 6 (25:37):
You're not gonna get the call that you want.

Speaker 9 (25:39):
You know, they're gonna miss something or they're gonna call
something that should have been called. That's just that's how
sports work. So look, he's trying to not allow them
to get too excited or inflated. I guess allow their
egos to get inflated. And that's what every good coach does, right,
keep them hungry, you know, make them want to keep
desiring more. I'll say this though, I think Houston's one

(26:01):
of the best teams in the AFC this year. Between
Stroud coming back, what they've done in the offseason to
make that team better, I'll put them up there next
to obviously anyone in the AFC North. You guys know
how I feel about the AFC North, obviously Kansas City,
and then a few teams here and there in the
AFC East, and then looking at Houston. But I still
think they're probably one of those top in the AFC.

(26:24):
I put them as a top four team, and I
think that's fair.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
I think that that's also a good point to be made.
They're not sneaking up on anybody this year, either, so
to get those close wins, being a team that has
has losses as seasons, being a poor team connected to
them coming into these games. A lot of times you
probably think that the other team was like, yeah, well

(26:49):
we'll get this, we'll get this win versus the Texans,
we'll get it, like, we'll pull it out. They turn
into wins for the Texans. And then now coming into
this season, it should be noted if you're we're sitting
here saying that this is a team because I agree
with you. I think they're going to be one of
the more uh you know, more competitive teams in the
a f C. As well. You gotta believe that they're

(27:11):
not sneaking up on anybody, so they're they're not the
hunted anymore, you know, or then again maybe they're they're
not the hunters there or how how's that saying it's
not fool me once you're hunted? Are this year?

Speaker 6 (27:27):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (27:28):
Okay, well yeah, it wasn't sure exactly how that's saying whatever. Yeah, well, anyway,
the bottom line is they're not they hate because they
ain't you know, fool me once. They're not like us,
you know, shame on on you fool me, fool me twice, Uh,
fool me again. Then you fool me twice? And now

(27:52):
how and now how the homie said it? Okay, I understand,
like you can't fool me again, and they are not
like us. So yeah, I think that that should be
stated that they have to come in prepared to play
teams that are now looking at them as like, oh,
this is a a pretty good team, Like you're going
to have your work cutout for you playing against this team.

(28:14):
Close games now take on a different context than you know,
we got to Texans this week, you know, or we
got Carolina this week.

Speaker 2 (28:22):
And also I looked at it like going into last year,
if we were to just say beginning of last year,
like there was two objectives for the season. Stabilize the organization,
which was a disaster they did, and identify a franchise
quarterback they did, so like them going to the playoffs
and winning a game and like that to me, that

(28:42):
was all at that point house money where it was like, man,
nobody expected this. So now they come into this season
and as you mentioned, they're one of the top teams
in the AFC. But I do have a fun, quick
little game show for you if you guys want to participate. So,
the Houston Texans have the fifth shortest odds to win

(29:03):
the af C. Can you name I'm the four teams
with shorter odds to AFC this upcoming season. According to
the city that is correct. The Kansas City Chiefs are
correct at three to one.

Speaker 1 (29:18):
Baltimore Ravens. The Baltimore Ravens are correct at five to one.

Speaker 9 (29:22):
And this is where it starts to get hard for me,
because I feel like theys you think the Bills really Yeah,
I mean I'm not high on them, but yeah, that
is correct.

Speaker 1 (29:32):
The Bills are.

Speaker 6 (29:36):
Now we got all left right, Yeah, is the Bengals.

Speaker 1 (29:42):
That is corrected.

Speaker 6 (29:46):
Between suit Wow, the rest.

Speaker 2 (29:51):
The rest lines up the Houston Texans at plus eight
point fifty, and then you've got the Jets at eleven
to one, tied with the Dolphins, and then the.

Speaker 1 (30:00):
Those odds and then the exact the Chargers are twenty
to one.

Speaker 6 (30:04):
They'll be walking like in Egypt.

Speaker 1 (30:07):
Yeah you will, y'all.

Speaker 2 (30:09):
So, uh, the Pittsburgh Steelers, by the way, twenty eight
to one to win the AFC.

Speaker 1 (30:15):
So the AFC all of it? Yeah when when the
entire thing?

Speaker 2 (30:18):
So basically, uh, bet five bucks, you'll win the Space
Shuttle if these Steelers win the AFC next time.

Speaker 1 (30:25):
Yeah, so probably not, probably not gonna. I wonder whether
their odds are so far so long? What do you think?
What do you think? I'm just I'm curious.

Speaker 6 (30:35):
Can't we just let us play out? So? What do
you mean?

Speaker 1 (30:37):
Yes, I'm just saying, what do you mean? Why are
the odds so long?

Speaker 6 (30:43):
What do you mean about them?

Speaker 1 (30:45):
The odds?

Speaker 2 (30:46):
Maker's the question for you? Did the Steelers have more wins?
Or does Russell Wilson have more craft closets in his house?

Speaker 1 (30:53):
Next year?

Speaker 6 (30:55):
You have twelve? Yeah, that's a lot of crap clauses.

Speaker 1 (30:58):
In the new house.

Speaker 6 (30:59):
No, no, the old one.

Speaker 1 (31:00):
Yeah, I say they probably you know, probably get like
a little apartment this. They might have learned their less.

Speaker 6 (31:07):
Closets everywhere. It's like you can't really do anything with them.

Speaker 1 (31:10):
Yeah, it's true.

Speaker 6 (31:12):
Well, I mean you can't turnam into something else.

Speaker 1 (31:15):
No, hmmm. Although if you run out of TP and one,
you know, just go to the other one. It just depends, right,
If it's.

Speaker 6 (31:23):
Ants a on your angles, it defends on how much
wiping you got done.

Speaker 1 (31:26):
If it's a big closet, you could like turn it
into like a studio apartment, you know what I mean,
probably could you know, like a hotel room, like have
the toilet fold up back into.

Speaker 6 (31:36):
The world bath, though, do we know if there was
a full baths. I mean maybe I don't know.

Speaker 1 (31:41):
Maybe you could, you know, I don't know. Go to
like a realtor dot com.

Speaker 2 (31:45):
You can take a virtual tour of the craft closets
there if we can find the listing of a rustling company.
But nonetheless, there's a quick look at the AFC. Two

Speaker 10 (33:27):
Good morning everybody, Good morning Brady, Good morning, LeVar, Good morning, Jonas.
Gotta do it talking to me. You're talking to John Jonas.

Speaker 8 (33:38):
Sweating me with Loation Man the Lap guys. In case
you missed this, more drama for the New York Jets apparently, Hey,
Brady guys. Apparently they're getting sued by a former rock
and roll musician named Jim Ponds, who is apparently a
video director and film editor for the team back in
the seventies. Says he was actually the one who redesigned

(34:01):
their logo that got started being used in nineteen seventy
eight until nineteen ninety seven and is now since returned
in twenty twenty two. So he wants compensation for this
new Jets or excuse me, old Jets logo?

Speaker 1 (34:17):
What took him so long?

Speaker 2 (34:19):
Like, why didn't you handle that years ago? Why all
of a sudden does you need the money?

Speaker 1 (34:25):
Is that what it is?

Speaker 2 (34:25):
I mean, it's a better logo than the crap they've
been rolling around with over the past several years.

Speaker 1 (34:31):
But come on, man, is he doing.

Speaker 6 (34:34):
I really don't care. Ah, it is officially this time
of year, isn't it. Yeah?

Speaker 1 (34:41):
It's an in case you missed it, all tough, let
me know.

Speaker 8 (34:46):
What else we got lee, Well, guys, in case you
missed this, speaking of the New York Jets, and you
know Aaron Rodgers having an excused, wasn't it?

Speaker 1 (34:54):
Was it an excuse? Or not excuse? An excuse?

Speaker 11 (34:56):
And excused, excuse, unexcused whatever. Uh, guys, will the Bears
will excuse Simone Biles husband h for uh Owens.

Speaker 1 (35:10):
What's his first name again? Jesse Jesse.

Speaker 10 (35:14):
Jonathan Jonathan Owens, former Greenmate Packer.

Speaker 1 (35:19):
Whatever who Jesse Owens?

Speaker 8 (35:20):
Yeah, well, you know Olympian Olympic. I forgot that he
was released from the Packers. But anyway, he's a Bear
now Jonathan Owens. Uh. The the Bears are giving him
an excused absence from training camp in order to attend
the Olympics in person to see his wife.

Speaker 1 (35:39):
Simone Biles, of course performed nice ball man.

Speaker 6 (35:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (35:44):
I mean, she's she's the greatest in the world. She's
the greatest of all time. So if if she does
what she's capable of doing, hopefully pushes past any any
sort of you know, mental stuff, like the last time,
she will she will be winning gold.

Speaker 6 (35:58):
He is the greatest ever.

Speaker 2 (35:59):
By the I feel like we should probably reach out
to leash see she'll pop on the show again.

Speaker 6 (36:06):
You know, did we have her do it before?

Speaker 1 (36:08):
Yeah, she came on during the last time talking about
sort of what happened.

Speaker 2 (36:12):
And what was going on.

Speaker 6 (36:15):
I mean, I don't know how that worked.

Speaker 9 (36:17):
Now, I mean she's kind of working an official capacity,
so I'm not sure she's allowed to do media, especially
with some slappies like us.

Speaker 1 (36:24):
Oh that's true. Yeah, i'd be afraid. I wouldn't ask
any questions. I'll just let you guys go. I'd just
be like, hi, leash.

Speaker 2 (36:34):
By the way, I remember she called into our Sunday
show one time because she was at a Dolphins game
at night. I was like, hey, you want to use
her as a stringer her give a live report for
the game. She literally had no idea what was going
on and didn't care. Yeah, I don't know, people are
yelling and jumping up and down and whatever.

Speaker 6 (36:50):
Well. I also think given that she was a mom
of like maybe one or two at that.

Speaker 9 (36:55):
Time, she'd had a few drinks, so she doesn't have
a great tolerancy this, So I think that played a role.

Speaker 1 (37:01):
Very professional.

Speaker 8 (37:03):
What else we got, guys, In case you missed this,
Sticking with the Jets, Sauce Gardener was spotted on the
golf course the other day, shirtless, obviously playing with playing
golf in a thunderstorm.

Speaker 10 (37:12):
People were very uh worried about him.

Speaker 1 (37:15):
Yeah, yeah, well, okay, you don't want to be hot
sauce gardener, damn
